- 0:03Speaker 1: Good morning, family. Good morning, good morning, good morning. God
- 0:05Speaker 1: bless you. Welcome back to The Morning Devo. It's your bro,
- 0:08Speaker 1: Sam Lopez, a.k.a. DJ Sam Rock. So winners with a
- 0:12Speaker 1: Z dot O-R-G. Live. So winners with a Z dot O-R-G.
- 0:18Speaker 1: And streaming on social media platforms that allow the stream
- 0:21Speaker 1: to go through. But the main site that I want
- 0:24Speaker 1: you to check out The Morning Devo has a live
- 0:26Speaker 1: chat over there. Interactive Bible. A place where you can
- 0:30Speaker 1: subscribe to my podcast or the YouTube channel. All things
- 0:33Speaker 1: that are like distraction-free are over at live.sowinnerswithaz.org. It's your
- 0:40Speaker 1: choice if you want to stay on these social media
- 0:42Speaker 1: streets where all the distractions and pop-ups and notifications happen
- 0:46Speaker 1: while you're trying to study the Word of God. I'd rather,
- 0:49Speaker 1: in my opinion, I'd rather get off of the social
- 0:52Speaker 1: media platforms entirely. But I know that this is where
- 0:56Speaker 1: a lot of people are at. So, you know, I'm
- 0:59Speaker 1: trying to do some fishing here. to reach as many
- 1:03Speaker 1: people as possible with the gospel message of our Lord
- 1:06Speaker 1: and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. So what we
- 1:08Speaker 1: do here, 5.30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on weekdays, is
- 1:11Speaker 1: try to get into God's Word, focus on God's Word, right?
- 1:15Speaker 1: Try to grow our faith, and we try to do
- 1:18Speaker 1: it one morning at a time, man. So we're in
- 1:20Speaker 1: the Book of Romans, which is actually one of my
- 1:22Speaker 1: favorite books in the New Testament. So I'm glad that
- 1:25Speaker 1: the Lord let me here. We're in Book of Romans,
- 1:28Speaker 1: chapter 3, verses 3 and 4. Today, I'm calling this one,
- 1:32Speaker 1: God remains faithful. And man, oh man, that's so amazing
- 1:38Speaker 1: to me, right? People will let you down. I might
- 1:41Speaker 1: let you down, but God remains faithful. Just because you
- 1:45Speaker 1: see things that are happening in the world, people going
- 1:48Speaker 1: against God or being unfaithful, that doesn't change the character
- 1:53Speaker 1: of God's faithfulness, right? So if you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 1:58Speaker 1: prayer requests or anything, along those lines, please don't hesitate
- 2:02Speaker 1: to leave it on the live chat. That's what we're
- 2:04Speaker 1: here for. And also, if you're on the website, you
- 2:08Speaker 1: can just check the live stream tab and there's a
- 2:11Speaker 1: live chat there as well for any questions, comments, concerns,
- 2:14Speaker 1: or prayer requests. So we're going to pray, you know,
- 2:17Speaker 1: during the prayer or after the prayer. I prefer after
- 2:19Speaker 1: the prayer so we can focus on the prayer. You
- 2:22Speaker 1: can share this out to as many people as possible.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You ready? Father God, thank you that Jesus came to
- 2:30Speaker 1: save and rescue and complete his mission to Telestai. Thank you,
- 2:33Speaker 1: Lord God, for finishing your work on the cross. Thank
- 2:37Speaker 1: you that you're not finished and your promise is coming soon.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You are coming back. Thank you, Lord God, that we
- 2:44Speaker 1: have a way to make things right with the Father
- 2:47Speaker 1: through you. Thank you, Lord God, that we have victory
- 2:50Speaker 1: through you, Lord Jesus. I pray, Lord God, that you
- 2:52Speaker 1: will help us, continue to strengthen us, that you will guide, guard,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and protect us as well I pray a hedge of
- 2:59Speaker 1: protection over myself, my family, our children, our grandchildren, our
- 3:04Speaker 1: whole entire bloodline from the youngest family member to the
- 3:08Speaker 1: oldest and every single person in between. I pray faith
- 3:11Speaker 1: forward over every single listener, every single viewer right now
- 3:15Speaker 1: in the powerful name of Jesus. I set forth ministering
- 3:18Speaker 1: angels and warring angels to annihilate the tactics of the
- 3:22Speaker 1: enemy over our lives. I pray this over myself again.
- 3:25Speaker 1: over every single person that's representing them and their family.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Lord, for allowing me to do
- 3:31Speaker 1: what I do here on the Morning Devo. Thank you
- 3:33Speaker 1: so much for every single person that's connected. In the
- 3:36Speaker 1: powerful name of Jesus, I pray peace and protection. In
- 3:40Speaker 1: Jesus' holy name, I pray this by faith. And those
- 3:42Speaker 1: who agree, we say amen to the amen. Let's go
- 3:47Speaker 1: for it. Let's get into this word, powerful as it is.
- 3:51Speaker 1: The Lord allows us to get this revelation of what
- 3:55Speaker 1: he's saying today, right? Romans chapter 3, verses 3 and 4.
- 4:01Speaker 1: What if some did not have faith? Starts off with
- 4:04Speaker 1: a question, right? What happens when some people don't have faith?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? Certainly not.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Let God be true and every man faithful. a liar,
- 4:23Speaker 1: as it is written, so that you may be proved
- 4:27Speaker 1: right when you speak and victorious when you judge. Remember,
- 4:34Speaker 1: I've been saying this for a minute, judgment is a
- 4:38Speaker 1: God idea, not a man idea. So when we look
- 4:43Speaker 1: at judgment according to how God judges, we're on the
- 4:47Speaker 1: right track. If we look at judgment according to how
- 4:50Speaker 1: man judges, We're off the track. We're not going in
- 4:54Speaker 1: the right direction. Amen? So these questions, what if some
- 4:59Speaker 1: did not have faith? And will their lack of faith
- 5:02Speaker 1: nullify God's faithfulness? I think they're relevant. I know they're
- 5:06Speaker 1: relevant because we see it all the time. People's lack
- 5:10Speaker 1: of faith. And then because of their lack of faith,
- 5:13Speaker 1: they blame God, right? For things that they're not doing
- 5:16Speaker 1: and things that's not happening in their lives. And then people,
- 5:19Speaker 1: without knowing the word of God, You say, yeah, you
- 5:22Speaker 1: know what? Your God is failing you. Your God is
- 5:26Speaker 1: this and your God is that. My lack of faith,
- 5:30Speaker 1: your lack of faith does not nullify God's faithfulness. And
- 5:34Speaker 1: that's good news. Amen? You know, we could be trying
- 5:38Speaker 1: to say all kinds of things about the Lord, but
- 5:40Speaker 1: one thing we can't say truthfully is that he's not faithful.
- 5:44Speaker 1: God is faithful. People are trying to make these stories
- 5:47Speaker 1: up about the Lord Jesus that are just not true.
- 5:50Speaker 1: That he sinned Right? Because the Bible says he became
- 5:54Speaker 1: in the form of a man. He humbled himself. And
- 5:58Speaker 1: people say because he humbled himself, he might have sinned.
- 6:02Speaker 1: But it doesn't say that in the scriptures. So what
- 6:05Speaker 1: it does say is that God sent his own begotten son.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So the father sent his son. He didn't create his son.
- 6:12Speaker 1: There was no spiritual wife like the Mormons believe and
- 6:16Speaker 1: all this other stuff. He sent his son, his only
- 6:19Speaker 1: begotten son. that whoever believes in him should not perish,
- 6:23Speaker 1: but have everlasting life. That's what the scripture says. So
- 6:26Speaker 1: everything outside of what the scripture says, when people are
- 6:30Speaker 1: making things up or trying to fill in the gaps
- 6:33Speaker 1: of what's not in the scripture, and they try to
- 6:35Speaker 1: use creative license and fill in the gaps of what
- 6:38Speaker 1: they think happened, that's dangerous ground. Let's stick to the scriptures.
- 6:43Speaker 1: We have what we need to live a righteous and
- 6:46Speaker 1: godly life. God's faithfulness does not depend on my faithfulness.
- 6:52Speaker 1: God's faithfulness does not depend on your faithfulness. God's faithfulness
- 6:59Speaker 1: does not depend on our faithfulness, right? That goes to
- 7:03Speaker 1: the church, that goes to individuals, that goes to ministries, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers,
- 7:11Speaker 1: that goes for all of us. When you see somebody
- 7:14Speaker 1: walking crazy and representing the kingdom of God, that doesn't
- 7:19Speaker 1: nullify God being saying that God being true and every
- 7:23Speaker 1: man a liar doesn't nullify that. I know we have
- 7:27Speaker 1: this idea sometimes that when we see a person of
- 7:31Speaker 1: God going rogue, that means that God is rogue. And
- 7:34Speaker 1: that's not the situation. That's not the case. Brother John,
- 7:37Speaker 1: good morning. I see you. Good morning. Peace and blessings
- 7:40Speaker 1: to you as well. Amen. Thank you for the blessing
- 7:44Speaker 1: over me as well. Thank you for coming through. So people,
- 7:49Speaker 1: May break their promises. You ever made a promise that
- 7:52Speaker 1: you didn't keep? I have. Before I was saved, I
- 7:55Speaker 1: used to break a lot of promises. And even now
- 7:58Speaker 1: that I'm saved, sometimes I have to break promises because
- 8:02Speaker 1: I can't do it. Right? But that's on my part.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And those are circumstances sometimes beyond my control. People may
- 8:11Speaker 1: break their promises. People may disappoint you. People may disappoint me.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I might have disappointed people. As a matter of fact,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I know I'm disappointing people. Or fail to stand by
- 8:23Speaker 1: their word. That's what I try not to do. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: try to not go against what I say. If I
- 8:29Speaker 1: tell you I'm going to do something, I'm going to
- 8:31Speaker 1: do it. I try my best to do that. But
- 8:33Speaker 1: even believers sometimes struggle with doubt, right? Even believers struggle
- 8:38Speaker 1: with fear. Even sometimes unbelief. We struggle with these things. Why?
- 8:43Speaker 1: Because we're human. And why? Because we have an enemy
- 8:46Speaker 1: called the flesh. right? But we have Holy Spirit living
- 8:51Speaker 1: inside of us. Thank you, Jesus, that allows us to
- 8:54Speaker 1: remain in God, to remain in Christ, to remain focused
- 9:01Speaker 1: on the author and perfecter of our faith. But none
- 9:05Speaker 1: of these things that I just mentioned can change, right,
- 9:09Speaker 1: who God is. None of that. Failure, right, broken promises, disappointments,
- 9:17Speaker 1: none of that could change who God is. The Lord's character, man,
- 9:24Speaker 1: remains trustworthy. You can trust God. You could trust his word.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You could trust his promises. You could trust his prophecies, right?
- 9:34Speaker 1: Even when people fail to believe in God, God remains faithful, right?
- 9:42Speaker 1: His character remains trustworthy. His word remains true. Haven't you noticed?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Everything is happening in this world and things are changing here.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Things are changing there. Uncertainty here. Uncertainty there. But the
- 9:56Speaker 1: word of God remains the same and the word of
- 9:59Speaker 1: God is reliable. His promises remain dependable. His word remains relevant.
- 10:07Speaker 1: That's why he said, let God be true and every
- 10:11Speaker 1: man a liar. It's already written. It was already written
- 10:15Speaker 1: at that point when the statement was made so that
- 10:18Speaker 1: you may be proved right when you speak and victorious
- 10:22Speaker 1: when you judge. This is a God idea, right? This
- 10:27Speaker 1: is a God principle. Maybe you can be waiting on
- 10:33Speaker 1: God to answer a prayer. And this is huge, right?
- 10:36Speaker 1: I've been there, man. Asking God, praying, asking God for this, that,
- 10:41Speaker 1: and the third. Then you're waiting still. I know how
- 10:47Speaker 1: that feels. Maybe You need a way out of a
- 10:53Speaker 1: difficult situation, right? This is real life things, right? Or
- 11:02Speaker 1: maybe you're waiting for him to fulfill a promise that
- 11:05Speaker 1: if he did it according to how we want to
- 11:07Speaker 1: do it, we feel that that's the best way. Let's
- 11:10Speaker 1: be honest. Sometimes my feelings try to override God's will
- 11:16Speaker 1: for my life. That's why I have to stay balanced.
- 11:18Speaker 1: That's why you have to stay balanced. You can't have
- 11:21Speaker 1: one foot in the world and one foot in the word.
- 11:26Speaker 1: It doesn't work that way. Don't allow delays. Don't allow delays, disappointments,
- 11:35Speaker 1: or other people's opinions. Don't allow those things to convince
- 11:42Speaker 1: you that God has forgotten about you. God has not
- 11:47Speaker 1: forgotten about you. He knows everything that you're going through.
- 11:53Speaker 1: He knows everything that I'm going through. And he remains
- 11:58Speaker 1: faithful to his word, to his promise, right? Continue to
- 12:03Speaker 1: trust the Lord and watch what happens. Now, if you
- 12:07Speaker 1: want to go the other way and take things in
- 12:09Speaker 1: your own hands, in your own way, in your own
- 12:13Speaker 1: way of thinking, right? And you're in your feelings, then
- 12:17Speaker 1: when things go left, And they will. We can't honestly
- 12:23Speaker 1: blame God for that. We have to step back and
- 12:25Speaker 1: realize that we stopped trusting. We stopped believing. We stopped hoping.
- 12:32Speaker 1: And this goes for me too, right? Anybody could go
- 12:35Speaker 1: the other way. But what I'm trying to say is
- 12:38Speaker 1: that God is still trustworthy. That God remains faithful to
- 12:41Speaker 1: his word. Even when people are not faithful to him
- 12:45Speaker 1: or to us. Or even through disappointment and letdowns and delays,
- 12:50Speaker 1: God remains faithful. That's the point. Amen. That's why he
- 12:55Speaker 1: asked the questions. What if some did not have faith?
- 12:58Speaker 1: Does that mean that God has no faith? It doesn't
- 13:01Speaker 1: work that way. Sister Joanne, I see you. Good morning.
- 13:03Speaker 1: God bless you. My sister, my friends, good to see
- 13:06Speaker 1: you on the Morning Devo. So God is not faithful
- 13:11Speaker 1: because everything goes according to our plans. I'm going to
- 13:15Speaker 1: repeat that. God is not faithful because everything is going
- 13:21Speaker 1: according to our plans. You hear what that said? God
- 13:24Speaker 1: is faithful because faithfulness is part of who he is.
- 13:29Speaker 1: That's really, to be honest, nothing to do with me,
- 13:32Speaker 1: nothing to do with you about God's faith. He was
- 13:34Speaker 1: faithful before we knew him. He was faithful before we
- 13:37Speaker 1: were saved. He was faithful before we were born, right?
- 13:41Speaker 1: He was always and he will always be faithful to
- 13:44Speaker 1: his word and to his is planned for us, right? Now,
- 13:49Speaker 1: what we do with that could throw things off. What
- 13:52Speaker 1: we do with that could cause unnecessary disappointment, even unnecessary
- 13:57Speaker 1: death sometimes. I believe people's lives are cut off short, amen,
- 14:02Speaker 1: because of God's mercy. And there's a lot to explain
- 14:05Speaker 1: about that, but I've seen people go totally the other way,
- 14:09Speaker 1: against their own conscience, against Holy Spirit God, and have
- 14:14Speaker 1: made moves that will only satisfy their sinful cravings. And
- 14:19Speaker 1: I've seen God take them out of here. Amen. And
- 14:23Speaker 1: I'm still thinking about those situations. And that keeps me
- 14:27Speaker 1: at bay. Like, wow, that's crazy. But God's a God
- 14:31Speaker 1: of mercy, right? A God of grace. He's a God
- 14:34Speaker 1: of love. Amen. He's a just God. He's not going
- 14:38Speaker 1: to let us tarnish his name. He's going to take
- 14:41Speaker 1: us to places where we never would have thought we
- 14:43Speaker 1: could be, right? gift of God that he gives us, right?
- 14:47Speaker 1: Without repentance. But if we start taking what he has
- 14:51Speaker 1: for us and using it for ways that are leading
- 14:54Speaker 1: people away from him, I believe God, because of his mercy,
- 14:57Speaker 1: you might think it's his judgment. No, I think it's
- 14:59Speaker 1: his mercy that he takes us up out of here
- 15:02Speaker 1: before we cause any more damage, right? God is not
- 15:06Speaker 1: faithful because everything goes according to Brother Sam's plan or
- 15:12Speaker 1: Brother John or Sister Joanne's plan. That's not why he's faithful.
- 15:15Speaker 1: God's faithful because he is. He's faithful. Amen. You could
- 15:20Speaker 1: trust him with things that we can't even trust man with.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Our closest friend, our wives, our husbands, our kids. But
- 15:30Speaker 1: you could trust God with everything that's good because God
- 15:34Speaker 1: is good. Pastor Michael Jakes, good morning, my friend. God
- 15:37Speaker 1: bless you, my brother and my friend. It's good to
- 15:39Speaker 1: see you in the morning, Devo. So today... It's a
- 15:44Speaker 1: new day, right? When people ask me, how you doing?
- 15:49Speaker 1: Sometimes I tell them if I'm not doing good or whatever.
- 15:52Speaker 1: But how's your day going? And I always say it's
- 15:55Speaker 1: a new day. We'll start there. Because I know yesterday's gone.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Tomorrow's not promised. We have right now. And right now,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I could testify that God is faithful. Amen? And you
- 16:06Speaker 1: could testify of God's faithfulness. Today, choose today to trust
- 16:11Speaker 1: his character. Even, listen to this, even when you can't
- 16:17Speaker 1: understand his timing. I'm there right now. When is this
- 16:23Speaker 1: going to happen, Lord? How long? Right? You ever been there?
- 16:29Speaker 1: How long? When? How? We ask these questions. The apostle
- 16:34Speaker 1: asks the question, will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness?
- 16:40Speaker 1: And the answer is certainly not. Amen? Thank you, Jesus,
- 16:46Speaker 1: that it's not up to man, right, mankind, to determine
- 16:53Speaker 1: whether or not God is faithful or not. Because if
- 16:57Speaker 1: we don't believe God, that means God is unbelievable. If
- 17:00Speaker 1: we don't trust God, does that mean that God is
- 17:02Speaker 1: not trustworthy? If we doubt God, does that mean that
- 17:06Speaker 1: God is not true to his word? No. That's how
- 17:10Speaker 1: we feel. God doesn't move on faith. Feelings, based on feelings.
- 17:15Speaker 1: He moves because he is. He's the great I am, right?
- 17:19Speaker 1: He is who he is, right? The eternal one. No
- 17:24Speaker 1: one created God. God is the creator, right? So today,
- 17:32Speaker 1: choose his character. Choose to trust in his faithfulness. It
- 17:36Speaker 1: will do you good. Does me good. When I'm overthinking things,
- 17:41Speaker 1: Try to analyze things. I give the benefit of the
- 17:44Speaker 1: doubt to everybody I meet and everybody I know. But
- 17:47Speaker 1: after a while, when things start lining up, red flags,
- 17:51Speaker 1: things are not going right. People are in disobedience. Order
- 17:54Speaker 1: is not there. I have to realize it is what
- 17:57Speaker 1: it is. But trust God and his faithfulness regardless. Right?
- 18:02Speaker 1: And be faithful to his word myself. Because I'm only
- 18:06Speaker 1: responsible for me. I can't change nobody. Amen? Amen. So
- 18:11Speaker 1: I allow God to continue to change me. You allow
- 18:14Speaker 1: God to continue to change you and leave the outcome
- 18:17Speaker 1: to him. Why? Because he's trustworthy and he's faithful. Amen.
- 18:22Speaker 1: And we can rely on him, not based on what
- 18:25Speaker 1: we're going through, but based on who he is. So
- 18:29Speaker 1: trust his character. Right. Sometimes my feelings, your feelings are
- 18:37Speaker 1: going to fluctuate. Right. We live in a broken world.
- 18:41Speaker 1: You know, people are talking about doomsday and all this
- 18:43Speaker 1: stuff right now. God remains faithful regardless of all that, right?
- 18:49Speaker 1: God's truth remains unchanged. That's a great point for every
- 18:55Speaker 1: believer to understand. God's word don't change. If he said it,
- 19:00Speaker 1: he meant it, it is, that's it. It's done, right?
- 19:05Speaker 1: God speaks about things in life that people are trying
- 19:08Speaker 1: to change now. Gender. God invented the genders, man. There's
- 19:13Speaker 1: only two. And now in our days, people are trying
- 19:16Speaker 1: to call it all kinds of different things. People are
- 19:18Speaker 1: trying to identify as things other than how God created them. Right?
- 19:23Speaker 1: Does that mean that God's word is going to change? No.
- 19:26Speaker 1: God's word remains the same. People don't like that. People want,
- 19:31Speaker 1: I want it all about me. That's how people are.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I want it to be this way. That's why I
- 19:36Speaker 1: don't believe in God. You ever heard people so angry
- 19:39Speaker 1: about the scriptures and the Bible and Christians and all
- 19:42Speaker 1: that stuff because they want their way and they know
- 19:45Speaker 1: that we're not going to agree with it lovingly and respectfully.
- 19:48Speaker 1: We don't go by that. things. We don't, we don't
- 19:52Speaker 1: flow by feelings. We flow by faith. Amen. And because
- 19:56Speaker 1: we have faith in the living, holy, trustworthy, faithful one,
- 20:00Speaker 1: we're going to remain in the scriptures. We're going to
- 20:04Speaker 1: continue to believe in the scriptures. This is our authority. Yeah,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I can't force my belief on anybody. You're absolutely right.
- 20:13Speaker 1: If you're not in the word of God, I can't
- 20:16Speaker 1: push the word of God, throw it in your face, right?
- 20:19Speaker 1: You got to look at it as a threat, as
- 20:22Speaker 1: something that's evil or against your will. I was like
- 20:25Speaker 1: that before I got saved. You would try to tell
- 20:28Speaker 1: me scriptures. First of all, I didn't understand what you
- 20:30Speaker 1: were saying. That's number one. Number two, I didn't relate.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I was on the other side of the scriptures. But
- 20:37Speaker 1: what I related to was when people approached me in love, kindness,
- 20:41Speaker 1: and they heard me. They listened to why I was
- 20:44Speaker 1: the way I was. That was more effective than any
- 20:48Speaker 1: other thing that I experienced in the Catholic church, preachers
- 20:53Speaker 1: in the street telling me I'm going to hell and
- 20:55Speaker 1: all that stuff. That was ineffective. What was effective was
- 20:59Speaker 1: when somebody came to me and expressed their way of
- 21:03Speaker 1: believing and heard my way of believing, and they met
- 21:06Speaker 1: me where I was. And God does the same thing.
- 21:09Speaker 1: He meets you, and he met me where I was,
- 21:12Speaker 1: and now he's taking us step by step to where
- 21:15Speaker 1: he is. Isn't that an amazing God? A trustworthy God?
- 21:18Speaker 1: A faithful God? He knows what he's doing. Trust in
- 21:21Speaker 1: his word. Trust in him. Amen? So trust God's word.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Let scripture, holy scripture, guide you instead of allowing circumstances
- 21:34Speaker 1: to determine what you Believe, right? If you're going to
- 21:38Speaker 1: allow circumstances to change your mind on who God is
- 21:42Speaker 1: in your life, then you might want to check to
- 21:45Speaker 1: see if you're still in the faith because now you're
- 21:48Speaker 1: moving on emotions, right? I see people on social media
- 21:53Speaker 1: all the time moving on emotions and then at the
- 21:56Speaker 1: end of the emotional, you know, whatever you want to
- 22:01Speaker 1: call it, they say they're believers and they trust in God.
- 22:04Speaker 1: After they hurled out everything against the church, against ethnicities,
- 22:10Speaker 1: people from different backgrounds and cultures. And then at the end,
- 22:15Speaker 1: they said, well, they trust God. They believe God. We
- 22:18Speaker 1: got to be careful with that. From beginning to end,
- 22:21Speaker 1: let's trust God. Now, once we switch it all up,
- 22:25Speaker 1: because the switch up is amazing. People switch up on you. Wow.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I'm just amazed at how it was good before. And
- 22:33Speaker 1: now it's not good because of whatever reason you could
- 22:36Speaker 1: put in front of that. But God remains faithful. God
- 22:39Speaker 1: never switches up on us. Amen. God remains faithful from
- 22:44Speaker 1: beginning to eternity. Right. Because with God is no beginning.
- 22:49Speaker 1: There's no end. So he's he's been faithful. Right. He's
- 22:53Speaker 1: been that way. So trust God's word. Remain faithful yourself. Right.
- 23:00Speaker 1: This is the challenge of every single believer, that we
- 23:04Speaker 1: remain faithful even when things are not going our way.
- 23:08Speaker 1: At least that's the challenge for me. I don't know
- 23:10Speaker 1: about you. Just remain faithful, though. It is so worth it, right?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Everything else is going to fall flat on its face,
- 23:18Speaker 1: but the Word of God remains active. The Word of
- 23:22Speaker 1: God doesn't fall to the ground and just get stomped over.
- 23:25Speaker 1: The Word of God remains active in your heart, in
- 23:28Speaker 1: your life. If you apply the Word of God, you
- 23:30Speaker 1: will see the Word of God, right, working in your life.
- 23:34Speaker 1: So continue obeying God. The world will tell you, ah,
- 23:37Speaker 1: you know, do what you want to do. Do all
- 23:40Speaker 1: you can, can whatever you get. Nah, let's not live
- 23:44Speaker 1: that way. Obey God's Word even when you don't see
- 23:48Speaker 1: the immediate results, right? Even when you don't see the
- 23:53Speaker 1: AI results, the Google results, right? the immediate answers, even
- 23:58Speaker 1: when you don't get that, continue to remain faithful. This
- 24:04Speaker 1: is what I do with doubt. I reject it. Amen?
- 24:08Speaker 1: So we can reject that. Yeah, we're going to doubt.
- 24:10Speaker 1: But you don't have to let that settle in your heart.
- 24:13Speaker 1: You don't have to believe doubt. You could actually reject doubt.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Reject it. Right? When fear... tells you god has failed
- 24:27Speaker 1: right remember his unchanging character is that he's faithful and
- 24:32Speaker 1: in the month of october from the time of this
- 24:34Speaker 1: recording fear is being elevated because of the atmosphere the
- 24:39Speaker 1: spiritual realm of this whole october month where there's going
- 24:45Speaker 1: to be a lot of witches and warlocks and uh
- 24:48Speaker 1: evil things done in the dark um people are worshiping
- 24:52Speaker 1: the god of the dead i know People don't believe
- 24:55Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And they've been saying, oh, this is
- 24:57Speaker 1: just a friendly, family-friendly holiday. You know, it's no harm.
- 25:02Speaker 1: You Christians overthink it. You do too much. Meanwhile, you
- 25:07Speaker 1: see it right in front of your face. There's nothing
- 25:10Speaker 1: smiley face about Halloween. All you see is death, darkness, right?
- 25:15Speaker 1: The costumes are gory, murder, blood, right? Ghouls and goblins, witches.
- 25:24Speaker 1: We see it all. It's right in front of our face.
- 25:26Speaker 1: That's how the enemy is because he knows that people
- 25:29Speaker 1: won't believe. So he throws it right in your face
- 25:32Speaker 1: so that way you can see it, but then you'll
- 25:34Speaker 1: be like, nah, that's not really true. Meanwhile, there's a
- 25:38Speaker 1: lot of spiritual activity going on, spiritual warfare going on,
- 25:41Speaker 1: especially in these months of October. And people are going about,
- 25:47Speaker 1: you know, saying, ah, that's not true. Right? Give God
- 25:53Speaker 1: the glory Sounds very Christianese, right? But it's so true
- 25:59Speaker 1: and it's so powerful. Give God the glory. The enemy
- 26:03Speaker 1: hates it. The devil hates it when he threw everything
- 26:08Speaker 1: at you and you're still giving God the glory. He
- 26:11Speaker 1: gets confused. He'll be like, why isn't this person shook
- 26:16Speaker 1: up and running right now? They're over here praising God
- 26:21Speaker 1: when they're going through disease. when they're going through breakups, disappointments, rejection, backstabbing, slander, gossip,
- 26:31Speaker 1: they're going through all of that and they're still giving
- 26:32Speaker 1: God the glory, go ahead and give God the glory. Amen?
- 26:36Speaker 1: He made you well enough to experience all those things
- 26:40Speaker 1: and He knows that He can trust you to continue
- 26:43Speaker 1: to believe. Give God the glory. You're confident. Rest not
- 26:47Speaker 1: in people's promises. Right? I don't have a lot of
- 26:52Speaker 1: Confidence in people's promises. No. But in God, his promises,
- 26:57Speaker 1: I have total confidence. Because why? God always speaks truth.
- 27:04Speaker 1: And he's always faithful. So hold on to your faith.
- 27:08Speaker 1: God remains faithful even when others are not. Thank you, Jesus.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Other people want to do their own thing. They don't
- 27:17Speaker 1: want to follow God's order. They don't want to follow
- 27:19Speaker 1: God's plan. They reject God's word. Going around saying they're Christian,
- 27:23Speaker 1: but yet they reject his word. It's crazy. The switch
- 27:26Speaker 1: up is real, ladies and gentlemen. But hold on to
- 27:29Speaker 1: your faith. God remains faithful even when others are not.
- 27:35Speaker 1: I'm out of time. But listen, thank you so much
- 27:37Speaker 1: for hanging out with me for the morning, Devo. There
- 27:39Speaker 1: was a lot more here, but you know how it is.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Snapshot of the word. Romans chapter 3, verses 3 and 4.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I suggest you read the whole chapter of Romans chapter
- 27:49Speaker 1: 3 so we can stay at pace. I'm going through
- 27:51Speaker 1: the book of Romans and Lord willing, we're going to
- 27:54Speaker 1: chapter four next time. So thank you so much for
- 27:57Speaker 1: hanging out. It's been my pleasure to be here. God
- 28:02Speaker 1: bless you all. God keep you all. And remember always,
- 28:06Speaker 1: always remember this, that God is good and he's faithful. Peace.
