- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest this morning.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Good to have everybody here. Is Ryan Seacrest with you,
- 0:15Speaker 1: Sistey and Tanya. I think something I think that the
- 0:17Speaker 1: news anchors do this morning. I put on this button
- 0:21Speaker 1: down the shirt for you and uh, sweatpants, so yeah,
- 0:25Speaker 1: take a look, counter that's a look.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I think that when I watched the news every once
- 0:33Speaker 1: in a while, the like cutaway and I think the anchor
- 0:36Speaker 1: thinks they're finished and they've gone on jeans with their tie
- 0:38Speaker 1: and their blazer, which uh, you know, I think I
- 0:42Speaker 1: think they're they're not meaning for us to see that.
- 0:45Speaker 3: I mean those were that. That was like our COVID uniforms.
- 0:48Speaker 3: That's all we wore. I don't think I wore pants
- 0:51Speaker 3: half the time. We did the shows during COVID.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Top with the thought and bottoms with none exactly. All right,
- 0:57Speaker 1: good morning everybody. We get the back room here, Hello,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and Sofia the intern and lonely MICHAELA or is Ruby
- 1:03Speaker 1: out printing something for us?
- 1:05Speaker 2: Ruby is out? But we have Jordan here.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Hi, Jordan, Good morning, Jordan Ruby. Still Oh she's stuck
- 1:12Speaker 1: in Mexico. That's right. Uh, Jordan, good to see you.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Sofia the intern. He's still in the classes, still taking classes.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Sofia going strong.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Yeah nice? Any classes today? What's your load for Tuesday?
- 1:25Speaker 2: For Tuesday?
- 1:26Speaker 4: I have Native American women and France and Asia and
- 1:29Speaker 4: literature and arts.
- 1:32Speaker 1: That sounds fun, actually, I mean it's like so super interesting. Yeah,
- 1:37Speaker 1: h so super interesting. But it sounds like a lot
- 1:39Speaker 1: on a Tuesday. I mean I just want to kind
- 1:42Speaker 1: of get over, like to through pay your bills and
- 1:46Speaker 1: to ten o'clock and then see what happens after that. Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 1: speaking of which, we are paying to bill. So here's
- 1:51Speaker 1: the thing. This is something we've been doing for a
- 1:54Speaker 1: long time. But don't let it be white noise. We
- 1:57Speaker 1: will contribute one thousand dollars to any bill you. I
- 2:00Speaker 1: just need to get your name. And this is something
- 2:03Speaker 1: that we have been doing since I started here, probably
- 2:05Speaker 1: before I started here, fight think back, but we love
- 2:08Speaker 1: doing it. We want to do it. It's the time
- 2:10Speaker 1: of year where we probably needed the most. So to
- 2:12Speaker 1: hear this and try and spend just two seconds going
- 2:15Speaker 1: to KISSFM dot com and getting me your name. Charlie
- 2:18Speaker 1: Pooth is coming on today, he's coming over. He's a
- 2:20Speaker 1: Red Rover. Also, Bruno Mars tickets every single hour. So
- 2:25Speaker 1: let's get to all this stuff right now. Justin Bieber
- 2:28Speaker 1: and Yukon on one of two point seven Kiss FM.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Good morning, So Sysney, you have a second date update
- 2:35Speaker 1: on the way the trials and tribulations of trying to
- 2:38Speaker 1: find somebody in this town, do we? I mean, is
- 2:42Speaker 1: it right to say, Mikaela, you're you're out there in
- 2:45Speaker 1: the world. Is it right to say that that la
- 2:48Speaker 1: is harder than like where you grew up? Where'd you
- 2:50Speaker 1: grew up in that little where'd you grow up? Yeah?
- 2:52Speaker 3: I grew up in Rhode Island.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Rhode Island, Yes, in the state of Rhode Island? Is
- 2:56Speaker 1: it is it harder or is it harder to find
- 2:58Speaker 1: somebody there because there are a fewer people and there's
- 2:59Speaker 1: more opportunity here.
- 3:01Speaker 5: You know what, A lot of people from my hometown
- 3:03Speaker 5: married or dated people we went to high school with
- 3:06Speaker 5: and that they're still married today. So I feel like
- 3:09Speaker 5: they just were comfortable and met people. But here it's
- 3:11Speaker 5: definitely harder.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I heard a lower Rhode Island they're married. They're still married. Now,
- 3:17Speaker 1: what is like what is the dating scene like in
- 3:21Speaker 1: Rhode Island.
- 3:23Speaker 5: You know, I spent most of the dating years in
- 3:25Speaker 5: Boston at school. But you know, I feel like it's
- 3:30Speaker 5: saying I feel like people back home are struggling too
- 3:32Speaker 5: if they weren't with their high school sweethearts.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of that happened in my town too,
- 3:36Speaker 1: just outside of Atlanta. So anyway, if you're trying to
- 3:38Speaker 1: date here in LA and you need some peace of
- 3:40Speaker 1: mind because it went wrong, we'll get into that. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: if you are about to break up with somebody or
- 3:45Speaker 1: maybe just went through a breakup. I I'm trying to
- 3:48Speaker 1: think of all of us here who's been through the
- 3:51Speaker 1: most breakups, what would you think, Tanya Sicini or me?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Think me possible? Possible? And when you do break up,
- 4:07Speaker 1: like I find myself wanting to snack or eat or
- 4:11Speaker 1: you know, sort of ease the pain.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Oh, mine was ice cream.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Food was ice cream. So there are like very popular
- 4:18Speaker 1: breakup foods that somehow came into my algorithm, so I
- 4:21Speaker 1: just wanted to share this with you. The most popular
- 4:23Speaker 1: are milkshakes, cupcakes, grilled cheese, and tacos. I think I
- 4:27Speaker 1: could probably go down any one of those paths and
- 4:30Speaker 1: find myself feeling a little bit better until I'm not.
- 4:33Speaker 1: It's like during the process, it really, it really helps
- 4:37Speaker 1: with the wound of a breakup. But then afterwards I
- 4:40Speaker 1: find myself kind of doubly deep depressed. So is it
- 4:43Speaker 1: worth it getting into cookie dough or getting into French fries.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's not.
- 4:47Speaker 3: It's not because of the pain afterwards. I don't know
- 4:50Speaker 3: about you guys, but like I, it's an instant stomach pain.
- 4:54Speaker 1: When you when you eat that kind of cry exactly.
- 4:57Speaker 3: It hits me like a ton of bricks, and then
- 4:59Speaker 3: I feel even more.
- 5:00Speaker 1: The one thing that I will put up pain for
- 5:02Speaker 1: is cookie dough. I cannot stop myself at cooking. If
- 5:05Speaker 1: I go into the store and I go down that
- 5:06Speaker 1: protein bar aisle that has one thousand protein bars these days, yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 1: I will try every cookie dough protein bar that is
- 5:14Speaker 1: there because it is so good with my coffee in
- 5:16Speaker 1: the morning.
- 5:17Speaker 6: Uh.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And you know what I also notice, like, oh, when
- 5:19Speaker 1: I'm home over the weekend, if I've got stuff in
- 5:21Speaker 1: the fridge, like I try meal prep for the week,
- 5:23Speaker 1: if I've got stuff in the fridge, I will stop.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I will I will drive by and graze all day
- 5:29Speaker 1: if I'm home, Like, do you find yourself doing that?
- 5:31Speaker 1: Just grazing all day? Now?
- 5:32Speaker 3: My husband Michael does.
- 5:33Speaker 1: He does like we pop in. I pop in and
- 5:34Speaker 1: I open it up, I eat it cold, I put
- 5:36Speaker 1: it back, I go back an hour later, I do
- 5:38Speaker 1: the same thing. It's and I can't, and I tell
- 5:41Speaker 1: myself stop doing that. It just can't. The number one
- 5:45Speaker 1: breakup food in case you're going to Nebraska is popcorn.
- 5:50Speaker 1: That seems like not enough guilt. I want more guilt
- 5:55Speaker 1: out of it. I agree it's one a two point
- 5:58Speaker 1: seven because I f M. I don't know what it's
- 6:00Speaker 1: like at your office or where you work, but there's
- 6:03Speaker 1: always a risk in going into the bathroom here. You
- 6:06Speaker 1: never know who you might run into and have to
- 6:09Speaker 1: now I say have to, but end up like talking
- 6:12Speaker 1: to or if there's somebody in there and you need
- 6:14Speaker 1: to make some noise. The whole charade of like trying
- 6:19Speaker 1: to be quiet and waiting till their feet crossed that
- 6:22Speaker 1: little partition on the bottom between the partition and the
- 6:25Speaker 1: floor they exit. I mean, I have to admit I've
- 6:28Speaker 1: faked an exit before with the door and just stayed
- 6:30Speaker 1: and hung around to see if people were waiting for
- 6:33Speaker 1: me to leave, Like I faked the door closed. God,
- 6:36Speaker 1: so weird. It's weird, but I faked the door. I've
- 6:40Speaker 1: seen in movies before, not for bathroom things, but like
- 6:42Speaker 1: people who are in bad scenes. To me, But what
- 6:46Speaker 1: happened to use gross? What happened to you is bad?
- 6:49Speaker 3: Well, this is the thing. It's not as bad in
- 6:51Speaker 3: the female restroom. I feel like we ladies kind of
- 6:54Speaker 3: just get in, get out or not like hanging out.
- 6:56Speaker 3: And I don't know what y'all do in there, but
- 7:00Speaker 3: I feel like the men's restroom there's a lot of lingering.
- 7:03Speaker 3: All I hear is horror stories from like Mark and
- 7:05Speaker 3: other people. They're just like what noises like you're saying
- 7:07Speaker 3: going on in there? Well, I was coming to the
- 7:09Speaker 3: bathroom and the sales guy. I'm not going to out
- 7:12Speaker 3: him or say his name, but he comes out of
- 7:15Speaker 3: the bathroom all chipper, holding his laptop full open laptop,
- 7:21Speaker 3: just like Henry, Like, Hi, now how long were you
- 7:27Speaker 3: in there that you need it?
- 7:29Speaker 1: I have to say in defense of this unknown salesperson
- 7:33Speaker 1: and those of us that use that side of the bathroom,
- 7:37Speaker 1: I can't figure out if it's an efficiency model, like
- 7:39Speaker 1: we want to get stuff done. We're being very efficient.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Or if it's also childhood, I remember childhood. My father
- 7:46Speaker 1: would take the newspaper into the bathroom on a Sunday
- 7:49Speaker 1: and there he went, there he went, and he would
- 7:53Speaker 1: leave different sections, not just one section, not just like
- 7:55Speaker 1: the main section, like he would take different sections and
- 7:59Speaker 1: ins of the newspaper into the bathroom. And so part
- 8:03Speaker 1: of me, even at home, when I go in there,
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'm carrying my to do list, I'm carrying a notepad,
- 8:08Speaker 1: I'm carrying a pan, I'm carrying things to get done.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And I find it a bit of an escape. Now,
- 8:15Speaker 1: not at work, but at home it does become a
- 8:18Speaker 1: bit of an escape.
- 8:19Speaker 3: I can't find that to be pleasant or healthy at.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Work, it's I mean, we're like at this men's bathroom
- 8:28Speaker 1: here in Burbank. We are a step away from a
- 8:31Speaker 1: curing sort of coffee machine being in there, and we
- 8:34Speaker 1: can just do it all. No, And to this salesperson,
- 8:42Speaker 1: I guess you might be listening. If you are brave
- 8:45Speaker 1: enough to come confront us to Sney on this issue,
- 8:48Speaker 1: please you know where we are. That would be major,
- 8:51Speaker 1: And thank you for your dedication to iHeart. All right,
- 8:53Speaker 1: unplugging these electronic devices. They're gonna cut your electric pil dramatically.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I had no idea some of this stuff about that
- 8:59Speaker 1: and a quote today next kiss Lines this morning. Kiss
- 9:02Speaker 1: FM headlines with siciny.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Well two businesses in a strip mall in Baldwin parkwerd
- 9:08Speaker 3: damage and a fast moving fire. Early this morning at
- 9:10Speaker 3: the corner of Ramona Boulevard and Syracuse Avenue, copper thieves
- 9:15Speaker 3: shut down and shut off lights on Miracle Mile along
- 9:19Speaker 3: Wiltshire Boulevard between Highland and Crenshaw. The trial for former
- 9:24Speaker 3: Dodger Yaciel Pleague begins today in downtown LA. He's facing
- 9:29Speaker 3: charges for allegedly line to investigators about possible times to
- 9:33Speaker 3: illegal sports betting and open AI confirmed plans to begin
- 9:39Speaker 3: testing ads in CHATCHYBT for US users on the Free
- 9:43Speaker 3: and Go tiers On two point seven.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It's Kiss FM. Good morning. These Bruno Mars tickets, I mean,
- 9:49Speaker 1: big deal, right, Bruno Mar's tickets went on sale. Everybody
- 9:52Speaker 1: wants to get these. He's so great live. I've never
- 9:55Speaker 1: seen Bruno Mars in a Bruno Mars concert, but I've
- 9:59Speaker 1: seen him do our iHeart concerts, our iHeart shows and
- 10:04Speaker 1: it's remarkable, like you get it and then you really
- 10:08Speaker 1: get it.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's only thirty minutes, so I'll imagine it's.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Full show exactly. So that's why they're so popular. Everybody
- 10:15Speaker 1: wants this. We'll get a pair of those coming out
- 10:17Speaker 1: a few minutes now, Tanya, I want to go back
- 10:19Speaker 1: because I'm seeing the headlines myself and when I see
- 10:21Speaker 1: it then and people, I guess are I mean, you
- 10:24Speaker 1: see all this stuff, But sometimes it strikes me.
- 10:26Speaker 7: This is the story that never ends.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But this one strikes me because I feel a closeness
- 10:33Speaker 1: to Megan Trainer and I know she was part of
- 10:36Speaker 1: the headlines at one point. Then she said, I'm not
- 10:38Speaker 1: part of this. They take me out of all of this.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So there's that toxic celebrity mom group. Now did they
- 10:45Speaker 1: call them? Who called them that? Like how they get
- 10:47Speaker 1: that name?
- 10:48Speaker 7: Okay, well yeah, like you said, but could we be
- 10:50Speaker 7: seeing the Toxic mom Group? The movie is really the topic.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Of discussion in it, so who's in it?
- 10:57Speaker 7: The Toxic Mom Group started with Ashley Dale writing a
- 11:00Speaker 7: piece for The Cut called Breaking Up with My Toxic
- 11:03Speaker 7: Mom Group. She detailed a mom group being very much
- 11:07Speaker 7: like high school talking about being left out at events
- 11:09Speaker 7: seated further down at table like these gatherings that they had.
- 11:13Speaker 7: This essay went viral with speculation that the mom group
- 11:17Speaker 7: that she was referencing was the Hillary Duff, Meghan trainer,
- 11:20Speaker 7: Mandy Moore, among others mom group.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:24Speaker 7: Every single day for the last two weeks, different people
- 11:27Speaker 7: have been coming out and commenting on this story, taking sides.
- 11:30Speaker 7: But now there are rumors that there's a ton of
- 11:34Speaker 7: interest in a film version, and studios as well as
- 11:37Speaker 7: big stars and production companies have been approaching Ashley Tisdale's
- 11:41Speaker 7: camp about bringing the viral essay to the screen. So,
- 11:45Speaker 7: if you were at if you were Ashley Ti, would
- 11:50Speaker 7: you say yes so you have creative control over the
- 11:52Speaker 7: whole thing? Or do you say I didn't mean for
- 11:54Speaker 7: this drama to blow up.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I want out.
- 11:56Speaker 7: No, I'm not gonna be part of it.
- 11:58Speaker 1: No, I think you're in on the joke. I think
- 12:00Speaker 1: it diffuses the whole thing. I don't know what's real
- 12:02Speaker 1: and what's not, but just based on what you're telling me,
- 12:04Speaker 1: I think it diffuses the whole thing. I think if
- 12:06Speaker 1: you lean into it and you do the movie, then
- 12:09Speaker 1: it makes it just it just settles it all in
- 12:12Speaker 1: a way.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Right.
- 12:13Speaker 1: But I will say to this, I know mothers who
- 12:16Speaker 1: are not celebrity mothers who have told me this thing
- 12:19Speaker 1: happens all the time totally with moms at school, with
- 12:22Speaker 1: the group texts in the neighborhood. There's like a competition.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It feels uncomfortable, and so it might be more relatable
- 12:30Speaker 1: that I knew about.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Totally.
- 12:32Speaker 3: You hit the nail on the head.
- 12:33Speaker 7: I think it's a very common thing that people experience
- 12:36Speaker 7: in real life, and so I think that this movie
- 12:39Speaker 7: would be I mean, I would watch it, Tom.
- 12:43Speaker 1: It's not a bad idea. And if you are leaning
- 12:46Speaker 1: into it, if you're one of those actors or people,
- 12:49Speaker 1: I think it makes you seem like you get it
- 12:52Speaker 1: and have a sense of humor. All right, kiss FM
- 12:56Speaker 1: Seacrest with you, and it's time for a second date
- 12:59Speaker 1: update now. Now, Jared is on the phone. He met
- 13:03Speaker 1: this girl on New Year's Eve. He was trying to
- 13:05Speaker 1: go to a This is so interesting. She's blowing him off.
- 13:08Speaker 1: He wants us to find out why, and we're going
- 13:10Speaker 1: to put her on the air and get to the
- 13:11Speaker 1: bottom of it. But he says, I was going to
- 13:14Speaker 1: a party in her building and I have the wrong apartment.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I banged on her door like nine pm, she answered.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I couldn't stop thinking about her, so I went back
- 13:21Speaker 1: a few minutes later to ask for her phone number.
- 13:22Speaker 1: We had a great first day. Now she won't respond.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I lived this, Sophia. You don't know this because you're
- 13:28Speaker 1: new in an intern But I lived at an apartment
- 13:31Speaker 1: complex not far from the iHeart offices. And I needed
- 13:34Speaker 1: to borrow a salad bowl to make a Caesar salad.
- 13:36Speaker 1: And I knocked on the door of my neighbor and
- 13:38Speaker 1: it was Tiffany. And Tiffany I had the same thing
- 13:42Speaker 1: happened to me. So I went back and I got
- 13:43Speaker 1: her number, and somehow, somehow we ended up moving in together.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Hopefully this turns out good.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Then.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I don't know if they're going to move in together.
- 13:55Speaker 1: But Jared, we're pulling for you here. I mean, is
- 13:58Speaker 1: it fate that you ever across the street from this?
- 14:01Speaker 1: Why couldn't you get her out of your mind? What
- 14:03Speaker 1: was it?
- 14:04Speaker 8: I think, you know, she was just kind of flirty,
- 14:06Speaker 8: she was looking hot. It was this crazy circumstance, you know,
- 14:09Speaker 8: I was like, this meal live here. We were kind
- 14:12Speaker 8: of vibing, you know, Okay, she was like, wow, this
- 14:15Speaker 8: is the worst pickup line ever. We laughed, but I left,
- 14:18Speaker 8: you know.
- 14:19Speaker 1: And you ended up going out And now she won't
- 14:21Speaker 1: respond to you. Can you just zero in. I don't
- 14:24Speaker 1: need to know all about the date, but zero in
- 14:26Speaker 1: for me on the end of the date, any any dialogue,
- 14:30Speaker 1: any body language, give me a snapshot.
- 14:34Speaker 8: Well, I mean it was good, it was nice. You know,
- 14:38Speaker 8: we held hands, we had a nice kiss, good night.
- 14:41Speaker 8: You know, we were laughing at the date. It seemed
- 14:44Speaker 8: great to me. But I texted her a few nights later,
- 14:47Speaker 8: got no response. I tried again the next day, you
- 14:49Speaker 8: know nothing.
- 14:51Speaker 1: So this could be by the way, holding hands is
- 14:53Speaker 1: more intimate than kissing.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Some would argue, No, no.
- 14:57Speaker 1: No, that's fact. It's actually fact, more nerve endings in
- 15:00Speaker 1: your hand than they're on your lips.
- 15:02Speaker 3: What about your tongues touching?
- 15:04Speaker 1: No, I'm just telling you his facts. So, Jared, I
- 15:08Speaker 1: think we're gonna put you on hold and call her
- 15:10Speaker 1: and put her on the air and ask her while
- 15:11Speaker 1: you listen in. But I think this could be not you,
- 15:15Speaker 1: but just proximity, like the fact that you live across
- 15:18Speaker 1: from each other, or the same proximity might be the
- 15:22Speaker 1: issue for her hitting the brakes, So it might not
- 15:25Speaker 1: be you. It might be that, all right, So think
- 15:28Speaker 1: about that. We're gonna come back, get her on the
- 15:30Speaker 1: line and find out why she's blowing you off. Man,
- 15:36Speaker 1: I get it when I hear it, Bruno Mars, it
- 15:40Speaker 1: just pops, It just stands out. It's just got every
- 15:42Speaker 1: different layer to it to give you what you want
- 15:46Speaker 1: and expect, but even more from Bruno Mars. And that's
- 15:48Speaker 1: why we got your tickets to go see Bruno Mars
- 15:51Speaker 1: in concert. It's Kiss FM now second date update. We're
- 15:56Speaker 1: in the middle of it. Jared is on the line.
- 15:59Speaker 1: So Jared was trying to go to a party on
- 16:02Speaker 1: New Year's Eve. He knocked on the wrong door at
- 16:05Speaker 1: his complex and he ended up meeting Christina, and there's
- 16:11Speaker 1: like serendipitus. He couldn't get her out of her mind.
- 16:13Speaker 1: He got her number, they went out, they went out
- 16:15Speaker 1: on a date, and then afterwards everything he thinks went fine,
- 16:19Speaker 1: but she will not respond to him. So he's trying
- 16:22Speaker 1: to figure out, like what I do wrong? And this
- 16:23Speaker 1: could be a lesson for anybody that's not getting a
- 16:25Speaker 1: response right now, Like what was it what did you
- 16:28Speaker 1: do wrong or not? Or I think it's because and Jared,
- 16:32Speaker 1: I've kind of lived this before. I think it's because
- 16:36Speaker 1: she lives too close to you. Like with me, we
- 16:39Speaker 1: ended up hanging out and then when I say lived together,
- 16:41Speaker 1: we were roommates. We ended up becoming roommates. The neighbor
- 16:44Speaker 1: that this happened to me with but a long time ago.
- 16:47Speaker 1: But after a while it fizzled out. But she might
- 16:54Speaker 1: be thinking you just you lived too close to her
- 16:56Speaker 1: and wanting a little bit of space, you know, so
- 16:58Speaker 1: let's see and you get you You held her hand
- 17:02Speaker 1: and you kissed her. So that's that's quite a bit.
- 17:05Speaker 1: It's quite a bit. Okay, be quiet now, Jared, we're
- 17:08Speaker 1: gonna put her on ready. Okay, Hey, Christina, it's Ryan Seacrest,
- 17:13Speaker 1: sis Any Tanya Sophia, our intern. Good morning. How are
- 17:16Speaker 1: you're on the air with us? Oh? Hi, So we're
- 17:21Speaker 1: calling about a guy named Jared who is your neighbor.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, him, him, and you went out with him
- 17:30Speaker 1: and right, you did on a date.
- 17:33Speaker 9: I mean it was fine, but why.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Well, let's suspend any sort of disbelief in why we
- 17:42Speaker 1: might be calling and just if you can answer a
- 17:47Speaker 1: couple of questions. We did you like him? Did you
- 17:50Speaker 1: feel like, oh this is sort of meant to be
- 17:52Speaker 1: that he lives so close to me?
- 17:55Speaker 9: I mean, he seems really cool and everything at and
- 18:01Speaker 9: maybe there could have been something, but I'm trying to
- 18:06Speaker 9: remember why it is that I just decided not to
- 18:12Speaker 9: go for it.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Okay, you can't remember why, Well.
- 18:19Speaker 10: We technically met on New Year's Eve and I am
- 18:25Speaker 10: active on the dating scene and everything, so I'm just
- 18:28Speaker 10: trying to remember why.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Would you like to go out? Like? I mean, if
- 18:33Speaker 1: it's if you can't remember why, it can't be that bad.
- 18:36Speaker 1: It could be good. So would you like to go
- 18:37Speaker 1: out with this Jared? Again?
- 18:41Speaker 10: Oh wait, I do remember?
- 18:42Speaker 9: Why?
- 18:45Speaker 1: Please?
- 18:46Speaker 9: He So he reached out to me with what are
- 18:51Speaker 9: you doing at eleven pm?
- 18:55Speaker 1: What night?
- 18:55Speaker 10: And on a random night, just on a random night,
- 19:00Speaker 10: and I don't do well?
- 19:06Speaker 1: Uh huh? All right? And so you felt like that
- 19:08Speaker 1: was he didn't make you a priority, he was making
- 19:11Speaker 1: you convenient and that turned you off. Totally get it,
- 19:14Speaker 1: that's clear, Jared. Did you hear that?
- 19:18Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Okay, what was your intent at eleven pm? Texting Christina?
- 19:23Speaker 8: Okay, that was not a booty call or whatever.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I was just bored.
- 19:29Speaker 8: I was bored in my apartment. I thought maybe we
- 19:31Speaker 8: could have a conversation.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but bored is not what she wants to hear,
- 19:35Speaker 1: bro Like, you don't having conversations great because you were
- 19:39Speaker 1: thinking about her, not because you were bored, like is
- 19:43Speaker 1: not flattering.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I was bored, so I just had to text you, right.
- 19:48Speaker 8: I can see now that.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, you can see. So we've helped you out.
- 19:53Speaker 1: And Christina, would you like to go out with him again?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Under consideration? Or should we move on?
- 19:58Speaker 9: I mean, I mean sure, why not?
- 20:04Speaker 6: Are you?
- 20:05Speaker 1: Wow? Jared so unexpected? Oh my god, A lot of
- 20:11Speaker 1: takeaway there. It's a second d all right, Charlie, this
- 20:15Speaker 1: is coming on. He's doing the national anthem at the
- 20:17Speaker 1: Super Bowl. I can't think of anything more nerve wracking. Wow,
- 20:22Speaker 1: that is nerve Like I'm gonna be nervous watching Charlie
- 20:26Speaker 1: do it. Now, he'll do it. But I just get
- 20:27Speaker 1: nervous for stuff.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Well, don't say that to him.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Why. I don't know.
- 20:32Speaker 3: I feel like, oh my gosh, are you so nervous?
- 20:34Speaker 3: Like you're encouraging exciting big moment.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Okay, no, but I'm not. I mean I am encouraging,
- 20:43Speaker 1: but I'm nervous as well. I would be nervous, all right,
- 20:46Speaker 1: I mean I threw the first pitch. I feel like that.
- 20:48Speaker 3: The conversation after he's already done it like were you nervous?
- 20:51Speaker 3: Those type of things I don't like. You don't pump
- 20:53Speaker 3: him up by being like he's going to be nerve racking,
- 20:56Speaker 3: this is exciting, and then have him say I'm nervous
- 21:00Speaker 3: that you can let.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Me let me write that down. This is exciting, you say. Okay.
- 21:07Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest, where is my husband? Kiss FM?
- 21:15Speaker 1: All right, we're bringing this guy is a scholar in
- 21:18Speaker 1: the world of music. Listen to some of these tracks
- 21:21Speaker 1: over the years. It's a sound check to our life.
- 21:25Speaker 1: When you think about Charlie Booth, right, where were you,
- 21:29Speaker 1: what were you wearing? Who is in your life? Then
- 21:34Speaker 1: he's got new stuff coming our way. Charlie Booth is
- 21:37Speaker 1: with us this morning. Hello everybody, Charlie. It's nice to
- 21:42Speaker 1: see you. It's nice to see you. Wow, I got it.
- 21:45Speaker 11: I got such a blast nostalgia when you played see
- 21:49Speaker 11: You Again, because I don't know if you remember, I
- 21:51Speaker 11: was the that was the first bit of a promo
- 21:55Speaker 11: I did was your show.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Yes, I do remember. We actually have the video which
- 21:58Speaker 1: we can inter cut into this to go back and
- 22:00Speaker 1: see all of our looks. Well, so when I when
- 22:03Speaker 1: I like, it's a soundtrack to people's lives, to yours
- 22:06Speaker 1: as well. When I play this, for example, what are
- 22:09Speaker 1: you doing about? I remember like seeing you at the gym.
- 22:14Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember we were working out at
- 22:17Speaker 11: this wonderful gym on Beverly and you came in with
- 22:22Speaker 11: a hat that set attention and I had just played
- 22:25Speaker 11: you the record. It was like a week before it
- 22:27Speaker 11: was it's probably like a huge like my record labels
- 22:31Speaker 11: like make sure you don't play anybody this And of
- 22:32Speaker 11: course I played it Baran Seacrest and you came in
- 22:36Speaker 11: with an attention hat. The next day. I'm like, I
- 22:39Speaker 11: was like, this guy is my number one fan.
- 22:40Speaker 1: This makes me I have all of your merch. I
- 22:43Speaker 1: have it all. I have the what's clever hat coming
- 22:46Speaker 1: into a Jymney.
- 22:47Speaker 11: Well, we're going to send you every color, every album
- 22:51Speaker 11: variant to everybody.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Let's exist just run it. Charlie Puthie's here, Let's just
- 22:56Speaker 1: run through. Congratulations on What's happening in your life. I
- 22:59Speaker 1: know you're you're soon to be a dad. I think
- 23:01Speaker 1: I texted you not knowing if you were or not yet.
- 23:04Speaker 12: I did you know?
- 23:06Speaker 11: I you know everything, you know everything before or anybody.
- 23:10Speaker 11: But the big thing that we're waiting on now and
- 23:15Speaker 11: this is a this is kind of crazy. I don't
- 23:17Speaker 11: know how you time this, but the baby may very
- 23:22Speaker 11: well come the day the album comes out. An in areas,
- 23:30Speaker 11: it's it's just how do you do you time that?
- 23:33Speaker 11: So it's very.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Serensifico in only you who know you know all the
- 23:37Speaker 1: architecture of music and album release strategy could pull that off.
- 23:41Speaker 1: But I do think that in a in the world,
- 23:45Speaker 1: the universe sends us signals and signs about really pivotal
- 23:49Speaker 1: and seminal moments in our life. And the fact that
- 23:51Speaker 1: it's a possibility that is a sign. I mean, that's
- 23:54Speaker 1: just a sign. And one of the big things you're
- 23:57Speaker 1: about to do is the national anthem at the Super Bowl.
- 24:02Speaker 11: Oh yeah, I'm working on the arrangement in my head.
- 24:05Speaker 1: How do you balance the overwhelming emotion that you might
- 24:11Speaker 1: be feeling just before you start during the performance and
- 24:14Speaker 1: knowing the scale of that moment in the audience watching for.
- 24:22Speaker 11: Me specifically, and maybe true for other singers and musicians alike,
- 24:29Speaker 11: time is frozen. Whenever I'm performing whatever the subject manner
- 24:34Speaker 11: of the song is, whether I wrote the song or not,
- 24:36Speaker 11: time stands still, and in that moment, it is just
- 24:43Speaker 11: about delivering the song in the way that it's supposed
- 24:48Speaker 11: to be delivered. And we have a choir and a
- 24:53Speaker 11: whole orchestra behind us. I'm really, I'm really proud of
- 24:56Speaker 11: this arrangement that we're putting together.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Charlie Pooth will be performing national Anthem, make sure you
- 25:01Speaker 1: check that out now. March also shaping up to be
- 25:04Speaker 1: a big month for you in so many ways, including
- 25:06Speaker 1: this new album, Whatever's Clever the World tour. The tickets
- 25:09Speaker 1: are on sale ticketmaster dot com. The new album's coming
- 25:11Speaker 1: out March twenty seventh. Congratulations on the baby to b
- 25:15Speaker 1: and stay close, my friend. It's great to see you smiling.
- 25:19Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm sorry about the birds chirping too.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Oh, we love it. It's a sign. It's the universe
- 25:24Speaker 1: talking to you exactly. I'm gonna make a song out
- 25:28Speaker 1: of it, see it, buddy, Thanks for coming on.
- 25:30Speaker 13: I love you.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Yea so great to see him, and he was just
- 25:34Speaker 1: beaming with excitement. Right, you could tell in his personal
- 25:37Speaker 1: life his professional life. That's Charlie Pooth. Why don't two
- 25:40Speaker 1: point seven kiss FM? So when you talk to your
- 25:45Speaker 1: your your classmates there on the campus, do you guys
- 25:47Speaker 1: use a lot of you and eskeletor this guy you're dating?
- 25:51Speaker 1: You're still dating this guy? Yes, it's going good, it's
- 25:54Speaker 1: going great. Now, do you guys use a lot of emojis.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Here and there?
- 25:57Speaker 4: We use a lot, like the laughing emoji, but we
- 26:00Speaker 4: do a lot of like the text message reactions like
- 26:03Speaker 4: the heart or the thoughts.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Such a cop out style. I'm so lazy. No, it's not.
- 26:08Speaker 3: It's like you're acknowledging move on if we.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Just not really not Like I have to tell you
- 26:13Speaker 1: that there's some emojis where I'm not quite sure what
- 26:17Speaker 1: the face means, but i think it means something like
- 26:20Speaker 1: good and I haven't read the message totally, but I'll
- 26:22Speaker 1: just throw it out there to keep the conversation going.
- 26:25Speaker 1: So do they do these new emojis annually or they
- 26:28Speaker 1: just sort of sporadically because there's more that are potentially
- 26:31Speaker 1: coming to the scene.
- 26:33Speaker 3: It's sporadic.
- 26:34Speaker 1: All right, let's just hone in on a couple of these, Like,
- 26:39Speaker 1: what's the before I get to the produce that they're adding, Like,
- 26:42Speaker 1: we don't need more produce. We've got enough produce for
- 26:44Speaker 1: the emojis, we get it. But before we get to
- 26:47Speaker 1: the farmer's market produce emoji. What's the net for?
- 26:51Speaker 3: That could be for catching butterflies, or there's a net
- 26:57Speaker 3: like a dog catcher. I don't know what's the net
- 27:00Speaker 3: machine of some sort?
- 27:01Speaker 1: Okay, what's the fire with the mushroom in the middle
- 27:04Speaker 1: of it?
- 27:04Speaker 3: That is I think a meteor. I don't think that's
- 27:07Speaker 3: the fire mushroom. These are new moojis, commet or a
- 27:11Speaker 3: meteor coming to earth.
- 27:13Speaker 1: All right, then let's get to the one that is
- 27:17Speaker 1: it a cucumber or is it a pickle?
- 27:20Speaker 3: It is a It is a pickle, because we have
- 27:22Speaker 3: we already know we already have a cucumber that's like
- 27:25Speaker 3: sliced sliced cucumbers. And you can see, but this is.
- 27:27Speaker 1: The color of a cucumber, not a pickle. FYI, what well,
- 27:33Speaker 1: what would you use this for?
- 27:35Speaker 3: I would consider a pickle green, a green pickle.
- 27:37Speaker 1: It's dark green. This is bright anyway, Why would you
- 27:40Speaker 1: need to use pickle.
- 27:40Speaker 3: In am same reasons you need to use an eggplant?
- 27:43Speaker 1: No, it's not, you don't need I'm uncomfortable.
- 27:48Speaker 3: I believe that is the will be the number one
- 27:50Speaker 3: use for that pickle.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I'm uncomfortable when any of y'all use that, Like why
- 27:54Speaker 1: I never use that with you? No, not with me,
- 27:57Speaker 1: but even the fact that you use it in your life.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I've been worried about why I use.
- 28:01Speaker 3: The peach emoji and the eggplant in my life. Okay,
- 28:04Speaker 3: we're good over here.
- 28:05Speaker 1: What's the peach?
- 28:06Speaker 12: The beach?
- 28:06Speaker 1: Come on?
- 28:07Speaker 3: So obvious?
- 28:09Speaker 8: Need it?
- 28:10Speaker 1: I need training wheels.
- 28:11Speaker 3: But I do love this. I don't know what this
- 28:13Speaker 3: face is, but it's like squinty eyes and like a
- 28:15Speaker 3: sad face, almost like you're annoyed in Madison. That's a
- 28:18Speaker 3: good one. I'm here for that one.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Need more faces. We have enough faces to choose from
- 28:23Speaker 1: with the emojis. And by the way, when I get
- 28:24Speaker 1: a peach or send a peach because I'm from Georgia, like, hey, hometown.
- 28:28Speaker 3: No not when there's an eggplan next to.
- 28:29Speaker 1: It, Well, I haven't had that combination of goods.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Well, we're in the approval phase, so these won't be
- 28:36Speaker 3: coming to our phones until probably later this year, maybe
- 28:39Speaker 3: even as early as twenty twenty seven. I guess it
- 28:40Speaker 3: has to go through this whole approval process and then
- 28:42Speaker 3: Apple and Android have to approve him as well.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Let's see this cucumber gets approved Bruno or food truck.
- 28:49Speaker 1: That's what we're gonna play right now on KISSFM for
- 28:51Speaker 1: Brune Mars tickets. Hit it Bruno or food truck. They
- 28:56Speaker 1: get Noah in Sun Valley to play this game. I know,
- 29:00Speaker 1: good morning, and thank you for calling for Bruno Mar's tickets.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Are you ready yet?
- 29:05Speaker 6: Ready?
- 29:05Speaker 1: So I'm going to give you a title. You tell
- 29:07Speaker 1: me if it's a Bruno Mars song or a local
- 29:11Speaker 1: La food truck. All right, This game, I don't know
- 29:13Speaker 1: if you've seen it on social media's very popular. Okay,
- 29:17Speaker 1: all right, it's not on social media's so here we go, Sugar,
- 29:23Speaker 1: Coco and Honey. Now, is that Bruno Mars song or
- 29:28Speaker 1: a local La food truck?
- 29:30Speaker 14: Food truck?
- 29:32Speaker 1: No, it's a Bruno Mars song from way back twenty fourteen.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Next one gotta get three right, three right before we
- 29:38Speaker 1: get three wrong. Quicksand quicksand Bruno song or LA food
- 29:43Speaker 1: truck food truck? Yeah, gourmet sandwich is this is a
- 29:46Speaker 1: good one? Sandwich is dormant quicksand I right, all right,
- 29:52Speaker 1: here we go now on you got one in one,
- 29:54Speaker 1: now get shaved, get shaved. Is that a song from
- 29:57Speaker 1: Bruno Mars or is that an LA food truck? Truck?
- 30:04Speaker 1: It is a food truck. You got that one shaved ice? Now?
- 30:08Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 30:09Speaker 1: One more for the wind? Bang bang bang bang. Is
- 30:15Speaker 1: that a Bruno Mars song or is that a LA
- 30:19Speaker 1: food truck.
- 30:21Speaker 8: I'm gonna say food truck.
- 30:24Speaker 1: It is a Bruno Mars song. It comes down to
- 30:28Speaker 1: this one for you for the wind, No for Bruno
- 30:30Speaker 1: Mars tickets. A beautiful life, A beautiful life. Is that
- 30:36Speaker 1: a Bruno Mars song? Or is it an LA food truck.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna say food truck. Man, I was nervous on
- 30:44Speaker 1: that one. You got it right. It's a Jamaican food

- 33:29Speaker 1: My thighs look good. But she don't got no ties.
- 33:32Speaker 1: I walked in, walk out with us sides. Man, don't
- 33:35Speaker 1: let me know what the path.
- 33:37Speaker 13: Squabble up, squabble up, squabble up, squabble up, squabble up,
- 33:42Speaker 13: squabble up, squabble up, squabble up.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Kendrick kiss FM. Cynthia is on the line, So we're
- 33:48Speaker 1: gonna talk to her now about your mother in law
- 33:52Speaker 1: giving you a family secret. Why did she tell you
- 33:54Speaker 1: this secret?
- 33:57Speaker 6: Well, at the time, she was really quite drunk, honestly,
- 34:01Speaker 6: and she is always confiding in me and we are close.
- 34:06Speaker 14: But I've just been really struggling with what she told me.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Well, look, it's a blessing that she feels so close
- 34:12Speaker 1: to you to confide in you. What was the secret?
- 34:16Speaker 6: So she told me that her husband cheated on her
- 34:20Speaker 6: when the kids were younger, and that they almost divorced
- 34:24Speaker 6: but ended up staying in the relationship. Your husband, Yes,
- 34:31Speaker 6: so my father in law, my husband's dad cheated on
- 34:35Speaker 6: his mom when the kids were really young. They almost
- 34:38Speaker 6: got divorced. Obviously they've stayed in the relationship though, because.
- 34:41Speaker 14: They're still together.
- 34:42Speaker 6: But I don't know if I tell my husband that
- 34:46Speaker 6: is dad cheated.
- 34:47Speaker 14: On his mom, Like I just would you say something
- 34:51Speaker 14: or would you just keep this to yourself?
- 34:53Speaker 1: You keep it to yourself. Why in the world would
- 34:56Speaker 1: you get involved in something like that? Plus the fact
- 34:58Speaker 1: that she confide you is a strong situation that you
- 35:03Speaker 1: don't want to mark up.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Are you sure he doesn't know already?
- 35:07Speaker 1: But that's not her place and get out.
- 35:12Speaker 14: But it's like, now I have the secret and it's
- 35:14Speaker 14: eating away of meat, Like I just want.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Everything, Cynthia. Since Cynthia, it is much better off for
- 35:21Speaker 1: you to have a great relationship with your mother in law.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Let this secret eat you up. Get over it.
- 35:27Speaker 3: No, that's going to take years off your life, which gonna.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Take years off her life if she violates the trust
- 35:32Speaker 1: of her mother in law as well.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Maybe talk to the mother in law again, remind her
- 35:35Speaker 3: that she told you this, and be like, I need
- 35:38Speaker 3: to tell my husband.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I would ask for more secrets. Tell me more. What
- 35:43Speaker 1: else will you confide in me? I want to know more.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Tell me about this family, anything you know about your son.
- 35:51Speaker 14: I means you to be friends with my mother in law.
- 35:53Speaker 1: It's too I don't have any experience with in laws.
- 35:58Speaker 1: It's not my Bailey Wick. Thank you for listening, Bye
- 36:03Speaker 1: and good luck.
- 36:04Speaker 12: You got this.
- 36:05Speaker 1: We got this. Yeah, don't say a thing. Don't say
- 36:07Speaker 1: a thing. All right, coming up, we'll pay a bill.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Next at kiss, don't she and I play with Cardi'
- 36:12Speaker 1: kiss a fam our intern Sophia here is mid Nate
- 36:15Speaker 1: in this guy she met on Halloween. That's why we
- 36:16Speaker 1: call him Skeletor. It's not his real name, but he
- 36:18Speaker 1: was dressed up as Skeletor and they go to see Primate. Huh, yes,
- 36:22Speaker 1: now what happened? Why was there a scene made? Why
- 36:24Speaker 1: are you worried that Skeletor maybe pushing back after he
- 36:27Speaker 1: suggested you go see Primate as a dates movie.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Well, we went on like a date night after a while,
- 36:32Speaker 4: and we went to go see this scary chimpanzee movie.
- 36:35Speaker 4: And it's like so tense and like everybody's on edge
- 36:38Speaker 4: in their movie in the seats in the movie theater,
- 36:42Speaker 4: and next to us, a couple seats down there's this
- 36:45Speaker 4: couple who's just talking so loud, and it's like they
- 36:48Speaker 4: made a comment every five seconds, and they were just
- 36:51Speaker 4: like crinkling their chip bags and like chewing on the
- 36:54Speaker 4: popcorn and laughing so loud, and it's like on the
- 36:57Speaker 4: verge of a jump scare.
- 36:59Speaker 2: And this was going on the whole movie. So I
- 37:00Speaker 2: decided to get out of my.
- 37:02Speaker 4: Seat and go over there and just very politely, very
- 37:06Speaker 4: very politely, ask them if they could maybe keep it down,
- 37:09Speaker 4: oh and stop talking during like the scary scenes.
- 37:14Speaker 2: And so I go back and Skeletor He's like, oh
- 37:17Speaker 2: my god, like he has this mortified look on his face.
- 37:19Speaker 1: How could you?
- 37:21Speaker 2: But I don't know, Like they were being so loud,
- 37:22Speaker 2: like I couldn't even like the movie wasn't even scary
- 37:24Speaker 2: at that point.
- 37:25Speaker 1: So here's the thing. I guess this is again here
- 37:29Speaker 1: comes the wisdom. Here it comes sisin Tanya. People who
- 37:35Speaker 1: cause scenes, they know they're causing a scene. You gotta
- 37:39Speaker 1: let them do it. You cannot confront people causing scenes.
- 37:42Speaker 1: It's like when someone says, I don't know so much
- 37:44Speaker 1: at a restaurant, like the food's not great, and they'll say,
- 37:47Speaker 1: how's your meal, and I'll say it's perfect, Like it
- 37:50Speaker 1: just you just sort of roll with the punches in
- 37:52Speaker 1: situations like that, because you don't want to create and
- 37:57Speaker 1: in like a confrontation. And also it's it's not Marty Supreme.
- 38:01Speaker 1: You know, it's not Marty Supreme. Yeah, Susney, you're shaking
- 38:05Speaker 1: your head. You would confront someone in a movie theater?
- 38:07Speaker 2: No, never, I never would.
- 38:10Speaker 1: But I mean the most I probably would do is
- 38:13Speaker 1: like a you know, I just know I'm against creating
- 38:20Speaker 1: a scene. I don't think skeletal would push back on them.
- 38:23Speaker 1: In fact, I mean it's it is brave of you
- 38:26Speaker 1: to go and do that.
- 38:27Speaker 3: You don't know these people like I get scared of,
- 38:30Speaker 3: like exactly exactly, like we don't know.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I'm just like, just great, the chip bags, they're gonna
- 38:36Speaker 1: follow me home, let them let them. Have you heard
- 38:39Speaker 1: from him.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Since, thankfully I have. We got ice cream after the movie.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Ice cream solves everything, all right, except for your indigestion.
- 38:49Speaker 1: That's for Tanya and I. We have dairy issues now
- 38:51Speaker 1: coming up. We would not have ice cream after a
- 38:54Speaker 1: scary movie, for sure. That would not be good for
- 38:56Speaker 1: our inners. Come out with your Bruno Marsin gets a
