Vallejo Officers Named in Fatal Shooting | San Jose News
Two Vallejo police officers, Sergeant Matthew Komoda and Officer Himanshu Saini, have been named in a deadly July 20th shooting that killed Rommel Delfin Querol, a 44-year-old with a prior manslaughter conviction. An assault rifle with a high-capacity magazine was found at the scene. Both officers are on administrative leave as separate investigations unfold — one criminal, led by Solano County’s Major Crimes Task Force, and one internal, overseen by an independent investigator and the department’s Critical Incident Review Board.
