- 0:25Speaker 1: It is time believe your warriors outside and laugh with
- 0:30Speaker 1: us inside the Treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley along with Trey
- 0:33Speaker 1: Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Monday, March tenth, two
- 0:40Speaker 1: thy twenty five. Real quick, I want to promote something
- 0:47Speaker 1: of ours, and that is our Treehouse Plus subscription, which
- 0:52Speaker 1: you can get today at Patreon dot com, slash Treehouse
- 0:56Speaker 1: on Air, p A t R e O N Patreon
- 0:59Speaker 1: dot com slash tree House on Air. And when you
- 1:01Speaker 1: subscribe to tree House Plus, you can hear the tree
- 1:03Speaker 1: House Plus episode where Raj makes a huge medical announcement.
- 1:11Speaker 1: We'll refer to it over the next couple of days,
- 1:13Speaker 1: but if you really want the full story, suggest you'd
- 1:18Speaker 1: get in the tree House Plus. He's not making our
- 1:27Speaker 1: Treehouse Memorial wall anytime soon. It's very esteemed by the way,
- 1:34Speaker 1: lots of big names up there, but we'll all be
- 1:39Speaker 1: on that wall someday. Instead, we're going to start with
- 1:44Speaker 1: something that while Raj may have this disease thing going on,
- 1:53Speaker 1: at least at the end of the day, at least
- 1:55Speaker 1: at the end of the day, Raj doesn't have the
- 1:59Speaker 1: worst disease of all. And that is utter stupidity. I
- 2:03Speaker 1: say that because a lot of other people on this
- 2:06Speaker 1: planet have utter stupidity, and there doesn't seem to be
- 2:10Speaker 1: any cure other than death. Luckily, a lot of these
- 2:14Speaker 1: people unwinningly take that cure, like these people. People are
- 2:22Speaker 1: eating packing peanuts, not by accident but on purpose. I
- 2:31Speaker 1: don't know how your twenty twenty five being gold card
- 2:35Speaker 1: is shaping up, gentlemen, But I did not have that
- 2:37Speaker 1: on my But here we are.
- 2:42Speaker 2: This is it Florida.
- 2:44Speaker 1: No, this is a this isn't everywhere problem.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Oh, it's never a problem. Okay.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yeah. There is a cosmetics company called Lush, and in
- 2:56Speaker 1: twenty seventeen, Lush announced that it's peanuts. We're going to
- 3:02Speaker 1: be one hundred percent biodegradable and edible, edible because we're
- 3:10Speaker 1: using a vegetable starch based alternative. And when you tell
- 3:18Speaker 1: somebody technically you could eat these, some of the people
- 3:25Speaker 1: suffering from utters stupidity will in fact eat them. And
- 3:28Speaker 1: that's what's happening now. Do in large parts of TikTok
- 3:32Speaker 1: and other social media platforms where one of the influencers
- 3:36Speaker 1: get their boxes of Lush products immediately give their insides
- 3:42Speaker 1: a makeover by eating the packing peanuts because they're biodegradable. Yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 1: to the uh disappointment of many experts. Yeah, unfortunately, it's
- 4:03Speaker 1: not a new thing, but it is.
- 4:07Speaker 3: It was twenty seventeen is when they made the announcement,
- 4:11Speaker 3: and people are still eating them today.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Yeah, people are eating biodegradable packing peanuts under the assumption
- 4:18Speaker 1: they are edible, much to experts dismay. On TikTok, online
- 4:24Speaker 1: shoppers and influencers claimed that the biodegradable packing peanuts make
- 4:29Speaker 1: for the perfect bedtime smack, arguing that the phone pieces
- 4:33Speaker 1: are completely edible because they dissolve in their mouths. Off
- 4:41Speaker 1: the top of my head, I can't immediately think of
- 4:43Speaker 1: something else that dissolves in your mouth that's edible. But
- 4:45Speaker 1: I'm sure there's lots of things out there that will
- 4:47Speaker 1: dissolve in your mouth and it's not edible.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I was gonna say white trash, cotton candy. Uh, I
- 4:56Speaker 2: mean maybe, maybe not, I don't know.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Yeah. One beauty lover on TikTok said, did anyone know
- 5:05Speaker 1: that lush packing peanuts are edible? And then she pops
- 5:08Speaker 1: one in her mouth. The Personal Care brand packsage shipping
- 5:11Speaker 1: boxes with eco float chips it's an alternative to typical
- 5:15Speaker 1: foam peanuts that are instead made with a potato starch
- 5:18Speaker 1: base to make them dissolve in water and soil. However,
- 5:22Speaker 1: one person pointed out biodegradible doesn't mean edible, and someone
- 5:27Speaker 1: else pointing out one of my favorite phrases, just because
- 5:29Speaker 1: you can.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Doesn't mean you should. Uh hum.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And then one of my favorite comments on one video
- 5:38Speaker 1: was someone saying, girl, those packing peanuts have probably been
- 5:40Speaker 1: on the ground and touched by I don't know how
- 5:42Speaker 1: many people. Because if you're going to eat a packing peanut,
- 5:48Speaker 1: a dirt on it is what should be of main concern.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Yeah, if you're and if you're in that middle state,
- 5:58Speaker 4: that's what you're worried about Burns, Kansas.
- 6:05Speaker 1: That's hey, honey, before you eat that packing put peanut,
- 6:09Speaker 1: Before you eat the packing peanut, at least just blow
- 6:12Speaker 1: it off a little bit first. Or if when you
- 6:15Speaker 1: open your your box of goodies and the biodegradable packing
- 6:18Speaker 1: peanuts fall out five second rule applies, yeah, get on it.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I mean, really, aren't they just white fluffy Bieber beaver nuggets.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Or or or Bieber nuggets? Either one both work.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I guess if I guess if you get packing peanuts
- 6:40Speaker 1: in your or if you're justin Bieber and you get
- 6:44Speaker 1: beaver nuggets from BUCkies, then yeah, I think you should
- 6:46Speaker 1: call them beeber nuggets.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:49Speaker 3: And I think, uh, if you uh blow on your
- 6:52Speaker 3: fluffy box as you were saying, uh.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I don't think I called it a fluffy box, but
- 7:00Speaker 2: oh I thought you did. I'm sorry.
- 7:04Speaker 1: So many biodegradable packing peanuts use corn starch, potato starch,
- 7:08Speaker 1: vegetable oil, wheat starch, and other plant based materials. Luscious
- 7:11Speaker 1: peanuts in particular made from potato starch, and one expert
- 7:16Speaker 1: explains that these ingredients are heated to a high level
- 7:19Speaker 1: in order to create the packing material. When it's heated,
- 7:21Speaker 1: it goes undergo something chemical called the Myard reaction, which
- 7:26Speaker 1: forms a krylamide, a known carcinogen.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Okay, good, that's what you want.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Yeah, so let's let let's not give cancer an advantage,
- 7:43Speaker 1: don't give it a leg up by eating cancer causing materials.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Just let it get you naturally. I just I really
- 7:56Speaker 1: don't know what to do with people anymore. I mean,
- 8:01Speaker 1: on one hand, like the experts, I feel like if
- 8:05Speaker 1: I witnessed someone eating packing peanuts. I feel like I
- 8:10Speaker 1: should tell them drop it and don't eat that.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Would you?
- 8:15Speaker 1: On the flip side, I kinda feel like just gotta
- 8:23Speaker 1: let people do what they're gonna do. To a certain degree. Yeah,
- 8:27Speaker 1: sometimes you have to learn your own lessons.
- 8:31Speaker 2: This is how we get rid of people.

- 10:20Speaker 1: With Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma with you inside the
- 10:22Speaker 1: Treehouse today Monday March tenth, two thousand twenty five. We
- 10:28Speaker 1: have something very special in store for today because last
- 10:32Speaker 1: year we told you about a woman named Lauren Harkins
- 10:35Speaker 1: who made headlines. And she didn't make headlines the way
- 10:39Speaker 1: a lot of people do murdering somebody. And she didn't
- 10:42Speaker 1: make headlines for some crazy stunt to promote an adult website.
- 10:45Speaker 5: No.
- 10:46Speaker 1: No, Lauren Harkins story made global news because she's a
- 10:50Speaker 1: thirty four year old virgin. So let's welcome Lauren into
- 10:54Speaker 1: the treehouse. Now, Lauren, welcome inside the treehouse.
- 10:57Speaker 8: Here, pleads up.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Guys, thanks for having me, thanks for taking the time.
- 11:01Speaker 1: We appreciate it. I promise we will be nice because
- 11:05Speaker 1: I will admit I've done a fair amount of social
- 11:08Speaker 1: media stalking on you. But to be fair, you did
- 11:12Speaker 1: it first because Trey and Roger. I'm not sure if
- 11:14Speaker 1: you realize this, because the segment that we did about
- 11:18Speaker 1: Dateless and Portland about Lauren last year, I had slapped
- 11:22Speaker 1: it up on YouTube and Lauren commented on it, and
- 11:27Speaker 1: that's how now she's in trouble and she's in the treehouse.
- 11:30Speaker 1: But so we have lots of questions, as I'm sure
- 11:35Speaker 1: many people do anytime they are confronted by a thirty
- 11:38Speaker 1: four year old virgin. My first question is why.
- 11:43Speaker 6: Why?
- 11:44Speaker 2: Well?
- 11:44Speaker 9: I mean, I feel like it's one of those things
- 11:48Speaker 9: that the more that I talk about it, I feel
- 11:49Speaker 9: like the easier it is, like articulate. So what it
- 11:53Speaker 9: really just comes down to is I've just never met
- 11:54Speaker 9: anyone that I personally have felt is right for me.
- 11:59Speaker 9: I'm really into being intentional with you know, my time
- 12:03Speaker 9: and who I share my time with. And I think
- 12:05Speaker 9: that I just I've never made dating a priority. I mean,
- 12:09Speaker 9: it was never a priority for me in my twenties.
- 12:12Speaker 9: It's really only now, like in my thirties, that I'm
- 12:14Speaker 9: even interested or open to meeting someone. But it's still
- 12:18Speaker 9: not something that I'm actively pursuing. So why, I mean,
- 12:23Speaker 9: it's really just like a feeling thing like I just
- 12:24Speaker 9: haven't met anyone that I'm like it does it for me?
- 12:27Speaker 9: And again, like in my twenties, I was very close
- 12:30Speaker 9: off to meeting anyone, just had like other things going
- 12:33Speaker 9: on and just you know, I have a great life.
- 12:35Speaker 8: I have a very full life, and just was never
- 12:37Speaker 8: a priority.
- 12:38Speaker 9: So why it's really just just haven't met someone that
- 12:43Speaker 9: you know?
- 12:44Speaker 8: Does it for me?
- 12:45Speaker 2: What was going on in your twenties that you.
- 12:48Speaker 8: Twenties was just really like I think a lot of
- 12:50Speaker 8: people school. Yeah, it's just a very like confusing, overwhelming time.
- 12:55Speaker 8: I was trying to figure out, you know, what I'm
- 12:57Speaker 8: doing career wise, and.
- 13:00Speaker 9: Yeah, just and you know, I feel like you don't
- 13:03Speaker 9: really I didn't really fully know myself in my twenties.
- 13:05Speaker 9: I think a lot of people that knew me, you
- 13:08Speaker 9: know then would think that I did, But I was
- 13:11Speaker 9: just you know, just like trying to figure out like
- 13:13Speaker 9: what I want and just like you know, figuring out myself,
- 13:16Speaker 9: my life and what I'm doing.
- 13:18Speaker 1: So I think that's smart because the majority of us
- 13:23Speaker 1: right now, and by majority, I mean everyone except for you, Lauren, Me,
- 13:26Speaker 1: Craigon Rage, we all spent our twenties acting out whereas
- 13:30Speaker 1: and I think that's what most people do. And I
- 13:32Speaker 1: think you were right to figure out and figure out
- 13:34Speaker 1: only we tried multitasking, and we have we have interesting
- 13:40Speaker 1: stories to tell, no doubt. But I am curious though.
- 13:46Speaker 1: You are a thirty four year old virgin. When we
- 13:48Speaker 1: saw the story last year, I think the headline was
- 13:51Speaker 1: thirty three year old virgins? So how did the story
- 13:54Speaker 1: first come about? How did how did you become a
- 13:57Speaker 1: global sensation.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Like I did?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Did the Daily Mail just somehow find out and call you?
- 14:05Speaker 1: What's how did that happen?
- 14:07Speaker 9: So someone a journalist in the UK found my social
- 14:11Speaker 9: media and reached out that way. So yeah, I kind
- 14:15Speaker 9: of started posting. I'd always kind of like danced around
- 14:19Speaker 9: like doing you know stuff, social media stuff, but I
- 14:23Speaker 9: kind of started posting about being a virgin in my
- 14:25Speaker 9: thirties last last summer actually, and kind of just popped
- 14:31Speaker 9: off from there and then yeah, a couple of journalists
- 14:34Speaker 9: reached out, and that's how that first round of publicity
- 14:37Speaker 9: came about.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Are you a virgin influencer or just.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Are you trying to are you trying to spread the
- 14:46Speaker 1: virginity thing or is it just telling your story?
- 14:49Speaker 9: I don't know, I mean not necessary. I'm not I'm
- 14:51Speaker 9: not trying to convince people to you know, live the lifestyle.
- 14:54Speaker 9: I don't think that's very like realistic. And that's also
- 14:56Speaker 9: not something that I really like, I feel like I
- 14:59Speaker 9: need to put because it's obviously like a bit unusual.
- 15:03Speaker 9: But no, I think I'm more so kind of leaning
- 15:08Speaker 9: toward you know, I want to inspire people to make
- 15:11Speaker 9: good choices and you know, inspire people toward high standards
- 15:16Speaker 9: living and just you know, being intentional and protecting your peace.
- 15:21Speaker 9: And yeah, just I think more like general lifestyle stuff
- 15:25Speaker 9: I'm also interested in. But obviously the things that do
- 15:28Speaker 9: the best are when I'm talking about, you know, being
- 15:31Speaker 9: a version of my thirties. That's kind of has that
- 15:32Speaker 9: shock value aspect to it.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So yeah, I think it's pretty funny that you mentioned
- 15:36Speaker 1: protecting your piece, because we hear a lot about that
- 15:39Speaker 1: in here. Well the hang on because we hear about
- 15:44Speaker 1: that a lot from Trey, because Trey is fifty and
- 15:48Speaker 1: is single and is all about protecting his piece now
- 15:51Speaker 1: because he's gone through the trials and tribulations that come
- 15:54Speaker 1: along with relationships and sex and well alcohol too, but
- 15:57Speaker 1: still so covering alcoholic. What I'm getting at, in a
- 16:02Speaker 1: very long winded way, Lauren, is that you sound like
- 16:04Speaker 1: a fifty year old man trying to protect his piece.
- 16:08Speaker 10: You know what.
- 16:08Speaker 8: I take that as a call flim it.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And I mean it that way.
- 16:11Speaker 10: Thank you, Thank you, Laura.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Are you does it feel relatable between the two of
- 16:16Speaker 1: you now?
- 16:19Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 16:20Speaker 4: Are you specifically waiting for marriage or are you just
- 16:24Speaker 4: waiting for the right person.
- 16:26Speaker 9: I'm waiting for the right person because honestly, for me,
- 16:30Speaker 9: I think a lot of people assume I'm waiting for marriage,
- 16:32Speaker 9: but I'm actually not a very traditional person. So I
- 16:34Speaker 9: actually don't want to get married. I don't want to
- 16:37Speaker 9: have kids. I kind of I'm not really looking for something.
- 16:40Speaker 2: I think I just fell in love with you.
- 16:43Speaker 10: Where have you been?
- 16:46Speaker 8: I'm looking for you?
- 16:47Speaker 2: Like Indian guys.
- 16:49Speaker 8: I like Indian food, so I can you.
- 16:51Speaker 9: Oh no, honestly, like I I think just.
- 17:03Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 17:04Speaker 9: I yeah, I just feel like it's just been like
- 17:07Speaker 9: a a journey.
- 17:10Speaker 3: But yeah, but if the right guy comes along, you're
- 17:13Speaker 3: that sounded terrible, But uh, if the right guy swings
- 17:18Speaker 3: by your way, you'd be.
- 17:21Speaker 2: You'd be okay, you'd be like, Okay, we can do this.
- 17:24Speaker 8: Yeah, I do feel that way.
- 17:26Speaker 9: I also think, like, so, I am kind of looking
- 17:28Speaker 9: for something that's non traditional in the sense of like
- 17:30Speaker 9: I don't want to live with someone full time. I
- 17:31Speaker 9: don't really want to do the whole like domestic thing.
- 17:34Speaker 9: I really want to be in my own space and
- 17:37Speaker 9: kind of even like something long distance would be, you know,
- 17:41Speaker 9: all India, India.
- 17:46Speaker 1: So I have a genuine interest in hearing about you
- 17:49Speaker 1: and your life, Lord, and all of a sudden, this
- 17:51Speaker 1: is this is really looking like some sort of screwed
- 17:53Speaker 1: up matchmaking content you try.
- 17:56Speaker 2: This is the worst version of tender ever.
- 18:00Speaker 8: I love it.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I love it.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Okay, So, but you are open for that, Like you
- 18:06Speaker 3: don't want a traditional thing, you want to Yeah, I
- 18:10Speaker 3: am your own You want to live your own life,
- 18:12Speaker 3: And do you okay.
- 18:15Speaker 8: One hundred percent.
- 18:15Speaker 9: Yeah, I think honestly like kind of what I've seen too,
- 18:17Speaker 9: and like one of the benefits of like living this
- 18:21Speaker 9: way is I get to kind of I pay more attention,
- 18:24Speaker 9: I think, to like what other people are doing that
- 18:26Speaker 9: I'm not interested in and kind of like like yeah,
- 18:31Speaker 9: and I just feel like, I don't know, I kind
- 18:33Speaker 9: of do feel like maybe this is just for me,
- 18:36Speaker 9: but because I am so like like independent, I don't
- 18:39Speaker 9: mean independent like and an independent woman, like not in
- 18:42Speaker 9: that way, not in like the super woke away, but
- 18:45Speaker 9: just like in uh, you know, I am very like
- 18:47Speaker 9: emotionally independent, Like I like my space, I love I
- 18:50Speaker 9: love like doing my own things. So I think more
- 18:53Speaker 9: relationships could benefit from more separation. And you know, just
- 18:58Speaker 9: I'm not saying like long dist necessarily, but you know,
- 19:01Speaker 9: I don't know, I think like.
- 19:03Speaker 1: It ala to start different rooms.
- 19:06Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 19:06Speaker 8: I think it's the future personally, but that's just me.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Are you open to moving out of the Northeast and
- 19:14Speaker 4: somewhere and more a warmer climate.
- 19:17Speaker 8: Potentially?
- 19:17Speaker 9: I mean I actually did just buy a home here
- 19:19Speaker 9: in Maine, so just about my first house, so I
- 19:23Speaker 9: kind of like having my hub here in Maine, you know,
- 19:26Speaker 9: like all my people are here and like my whole
- 19:29Speaker 9: support system and network and everything. But yeah, I mean
- 19:32Speaker 9: I I do travel a lot. I think, like I'm
- 19:35Speaker 9: not saying I would be here forever, but it's just
- 19:38Speaker 9: kind of like my my little safety safety nest, and
- 19:42Speaker 9: I love Mania.
- 19:42Speaker 8: It's like where I grew up.
- 19:43Speaker 9: So potentially, yeah, but I think also the the ideal
- 19:47Speaker 9: would be someone to find someone who's like not living
- 19:50Speaker 9: near me and then like kind of like you know,
- 19:53Speaker 9: we meet each other and maybe steps.
- 19:57Speaker 8: Baby steps exactly.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Baby steps makes sense. We have a lot more questions
- 20:02Speaker 1: for you, Lauren, if you would be so kind. Uh,
- 20:04Speaker 1: you've already been put through so much. I'm going to
- 20:07Speaker 1: ask you if we can put you through just a
- 20:08Speaker 1: little bit more. We have a bunch a bunch more
- 20:11Speaker 1: questions for Lauren right here inside the Treehouse data.

- 21:07Speaker 1: is our special guest today, thirty four year old virgin
- 21:10Speaker 1: Lauren Harkins. Yeah, she's back, starting to question her judgment
- 21:15Speaker 1: more and more now. So the news breaks last year
- 21:22Speaker 1: you're a virgin. You've become this global news trend. So
- 21:29Speaker 1: I think it's important that I say congratulations on being
- 21:32Speaker 1: the first viral virgin.
- 21:33Speaker 8: Oh thanks, So I've.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Already asked you why. So now I'm curious what are
- 21:40Speaker 1: some of the positives to being a virgin, especially a
- 21:44Speaker 1: virgin in your thirties.
- 21:46Speaker 9: Well, I think it's a lot of like discernment that
- 21:50Speaker 9: comes from, you know, having never been with anyone. I
- 21:53Speaker 9: think it's really allowed me to pinpoint like what I
- 21:58Speaker 9: would want, what I wouldn't want.
- 22:00Speaker 8: And also, you know the emotional independence.
- 22:04Speaker 9: Piece as well. I feel like I'm very I'm a
- 22:07Speaker 9: very stable person and I like being able to you know,
- 22:13Speaker 9: not be codependent and having to rely on someone you
- 22:17Speaker 9: know emotionally and in that way. So that's been nice.
- 22:22Speaker 1: And to be honest with these some of the things
- 22:24Speaker 1: that you're saying sound like things that men say, mm hmmm,
- 22:28Speaker 1: valuing our independence, protecting our peace. So have you gotten
- 22:34Speaker 1: that from other people as well? Someone saying I mean
- 22:35Speaker 1: you feel like a dude.
- 22:38Speaker 9: I don't know if I've so much gotten it from
- 22:39Speaker 9: other people, but I do kind of feel that way
- 22:40Speaker 9: in a sense. I mean, I know, I like present
- 22:42Speaker 9: very feminine, but I do feel kind of like my
- 22:45Speaker 9: personality in the way that I kind of like feel
- 22:49Speaker 9: inside is like more masculine in a lot of ways.
- 22:53Speaker 9: So yeah, I do kind of understand like why someone
- 22:56Speaker 9: would say that, for sure.
- 22:58Speaker 10: Do you date a lot?
- 23:00Speaker 9: No, I've never dated anyone. So that's kind of like
- 23:02Speaker 9: the thing too, is that for me? Like it's just
- 23:04Speaker 9: so all or nothing, Like I don't want to. I
- 23:08Speaker 9: don't feel the need to date unless I see something
- 23:10Speaker 9: long term, unless like someone really just like lights a
- 23:13Speaker 9: spark you know within me.
- 23:15Speaker 8: I just don't. That just sounds honestly kind of awful.
- 23:19Speaker 8: I don't know, you know, like.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I'm so or dating somebody.
- 23:23Speaker 8: Dating dating just to date, like that just sounds really good.
- 23:28Speaker 8: I don't know, it just doesn't sound enjoyable in any
- 23:31Speaker 8: you know, just to.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Go on a date, just to go out for like
- 23:35Speaker 2: dinner or with somebody.
- 23:37Speaker 8: Well, I mean.
- 23:38Speaker 9: Why because I mean it's like yeah, but like I
- 23:43Speaker 9: don't know, I don't I feel like I wouldn't even
- 23:45Speaker 9: want that because then there's like an expectation, like you know, so.
- 23:50Speaker 10: Well, how do.
- 23:52Speaker 4: If you don't date per se, Like how how do
- 23:55Speaker 4: you get to know somebody where you would even get
- 23:57Speaker 4: to the point where you would agree to go on
- 23:59Speaker 4: a date?
- 24:00Speaker 2: That's a good yeah? Okay, Yeah, well I.
- 24:02Speaker 8: Think it's kind of like an intuition thing.
- 24:04Speaker 9: I mean I kind of get this question a lot,
- 24:06Speaker 9: and I think it's like I'm pretty intuitive when.
- 24:10Speaker 8: It comes to people and energy and energy.
- 24:13Speaker 9: But I know that's like a thing, but I really
- 24:15Speaker 9: do feel like it's I mean, it's just always been
- 24:18Speaker 9: very obvious to me, like who who I like, who
- 24:20Speaker 9: I don't like, who I want to spend my time with,
- 24:21Speaker 9: who I gravitate toward. So I don't know, I don't
- 24:25Speaker 9: personally feel like I need to get to know someone
- 24:28Speaker 9: to know if I want to date that I'm pretty
- 24:30Speaker 9: like clear off the bat. And I don't think it's
- 24:32Speaker 9: like that for all people, and like that's fine. I
- 24:33Speaker 9: think for some people it's more like a slow burn,
- 24:36Speaker 9: But for me, I would need that kind of like
- 24:39Speaker 9: intensity or you know, that feeling off the bat.
- 24:42Speaker 8: It's just something that.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I just for the record, so far, it's zero.
- 24:46Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean yes, Like, have I been attracted to
- 24:50Speaker 9: people in the past, very few and far between. I
- 24:52Speaker 9: think that's like a part of it too, is that like, oh,
- 24:57Speaker 9: there's like a lot of speculation if I'm asexual or
- 25:01Speaker 9: you know, I think you guys even mentioned that like
- 25:03Speaker 9: last time, and I used to say that I was
- 25:04Speaker 9: asexual honestly, but it's I, I honestly don't really gravitate
- 25:10Speaker 9: toward that label and that kind of like that camp
- 25:14Speaker 9: of things. And I don't mean this in like an
- 25:17Speaker 9: offensive way toward anyone, but I don't. It's it's kind
- 25:20Speaker 9: of like one of those like new age, like woke
- 25:22Speaker 9: kind of terms that I'm just not really like, I
- 25:25Speaker 9: just don't want to be affiliated with that kind of
- 25:28Speaker 9: sure thing. Could is it like a spectrum, like could
- 25:31Speaker 9: I be on that spectrum. Yeah, possibly, But I also
- 25:34Speaker 9: think a lot of asexual people are sex verse. And
- 25:36Speaker 9: it's not that I'm it's not that I wouldn't want
- 25:39Speaker 9: it's the desire is there, but it's there's nowhere it
- 25:41Speaker 9: for it to go.
- 25:42Speaker 8: If that makes sense.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Oh okay, yeah, but you have you have common and
- 25:47Speaker 4: across people that you have been attracted to.
- 25:53Speaker 9: I mean, honestly, maybe like one or two like over
- 25:56Speaker 9: like my life. I mean, I'm I I feel like
- 25:59Speaker 9: it's like in high school, like I maybe had a
- 26:02Speaker 9: couple of crushes they kind of obviously fizzled out. But yeah, no,
- 26:07Speaker 9: I'm honestly, like I'm I'm kind of drawn to like
- 26:11Speaker 9: people who and I know you guys kind of talked
- 26:14Speaker 9: about this too last time, but I'm kind of drawn
- 26:15Speaker 9: to people who are outside like my sphere of like
- 26:19Speaker 9: what I'm doing in my everyday life. I kind of
- 26:22Speaker 9: would want someone who's already living the life and the
- 26:24Speaker 9: lifestyle that I see myself living, so I can just
- 26:27Speaker 9: kind of like slip into that versus someone who's.
- 26:31Speaker 8: Just like doing the same ship as me, like you know,
- 26:34Speaker 8: running the same circles. That's very boring for me, Like
- 26:36Speaker 8: I don't. I don't want I don't want that. I
- 26:38Speaker 8: don't want to I don't want a local guy. I
- 26:41Speaker 8: just that's just not it's just not what I want.
- 26:43Speaker 2: You want a guy from Maine, I don't.
- 26:45Speaker 8: I love Maine, I love the state that I come from.
- 26:48Speaker 1: But I it's just.
- 26:52Speaker 9: I just want to be, like, you know, with someone
- 26:54Speaker 9: who's who's already more established than I am.
- 26:57Speaker 8: Like I love Hyperogrammy, it's great. I don't know.
- 26:59Speaker 9: I just I'd rather be with someone who's already more
- 27:01Speaker 9: set up in the world and.
- 27:05Speaker 4: More set up, like do it living the life that
- 27:07Speaker 4: you want to live? What what does that entail?
- 27:10Speaker 8: Like someone more in the public eye, someone you know,
- 27:13Speaker 8: wealth and status are important to me. I get a
- 27:15Speaker 8: lot of like heat for saying that I've you know,
- 27:17Speaker 8: but it's always just something I've been very honest about
- 27:21Speaker 8: because it is.
- 27:21Speaker 9: I mean, that's important. That's like what I want out
- 27:23Speaker 9: of life. So why wouldn't I want someone who's already
- 27:26Speaker 9: like living that life?
- 27:26Speaker 2: You know, you should come to Dwnlas. I'll take it
- 27:28Speaker 2: to Tower Club.
- 27:29Speaker 8: Oh okay, I love Texas. I do love Texas.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Well.
- 27:34Speaker 1: If you want, if you want a couple of guys
- 27:36Speaker 1: that are established and well known. Uh and also celibate,
- 27:39Speaker 1: that is Trey and Russ.
- 27:45Speaker 2: I am not on purpose celibate.
- 27:51Speaker 10: Hang on one second.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Oh no, this is.
- 27:55Speaker 1: The one thing I was afraid of, Lauren.
- 27:59Speaker 2: I'm about to lose you. I'm about to lose you
- 28:03Speaker 2: to I thought I had a shot. I thought I
- 28:07Speaker 2: had a shot. Grew up, yep, I threw up power club.
- 28:14Speaker 1: You know, as much as I didn't want this to
- 28:16Speaker 1: be some sort of gross matchmaking attempt, or, Trey's gonna
- 28:21Speaker 1: make it real.
- 28:23Speaker 8: I'm ready.
- 28:25Speaker 10: Boy, do you like cute dogs?
- 28:28Speaker 8: Oh my goodness, yes, that's it.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I lost forever cutie.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Oh my god. Wait that doesn't and and the perspective
- 28:40Speaker 2: on that is not is not very good.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Trey, hold her back farther next to your head, so
- 28:44Speaker 1: so Lauren can see how tiny your three pound working.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Out the window.
- 28:50Speaker 3: I can I can pull a migrant right now, I
- 28:56Speaker 3: can hold I can hold a five ft five Mexican
- 28:58Speaker 3: guy right now.
- 28:59Speaker 8: Oh god, what a riot? Oh my god, your baby
- 29:03Speaker 8: is so cute. Wait is it a girl or boy?
- 29:04Speaker 8: What's her name?
- 29:05Speaker 10: That's a girl.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Her name is Daisy, Daisy, Oh I love her. She's
- 29:08Speaker 2: so cute. That's it. I lived happily ever after.
- 29:16Speaker 8: So I need to pull up my will.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I will miss you, Lauren. You had no idea what
- 29:24Speaker 2: we could have been.
- 29:31Speaker 1: If that will be waiting for you at the airport.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I love me too.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but you don't want to know which one's wearing
- 29:44Speaker 1: the lu You don't.

- 31:04Speaker 2: And we we we mentioned.
- 31:07Speaker 1: It on Patreon dot com slash Treehouse on air because
- 31:10Speaker 1: Raj told us that he's a he's got a bit
- 31:12Speaker 1: of a thing going on. And uh, the the motor
- 31:19Speaker 1: neuron disease that you might have is serious, but as
- 31:22Speaker 1: you said, it's not life threatening. It's not like you
- 31:24Speaker 1: have a terminal illness.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I don't believe. So we will find out coming up
- 31:33Speaker 2: very soon.
- 31:36Speaker 1: But there has been some discussion, and by some, I
- 31:41Speaker 1: mean like two or three sentences about well, I mean,
- 31:44Speaker 1: should we should we do something to help Raj because
- 31:50Speaker 1: you're you're you're gonna be going through some stuff. I mean,

- 32:11Speaker 3: The the foundation, that would be great.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I don't mean, I don't mean anything.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Are you talking about the Shaky Raj Foundation?
- 32:23Speaker 3: The Listeners Foundation would be Oh, we can if we
- 32:26Speaker 3: can put money towards that, if somebody wants to donate,
- 32:30Speaker 3: I'm fine.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I promise you.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Guys, if I had an issue, you would be the
- 32:37Speaker 3: first two people I would tell.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Well, that's not the case, because earlier, when we talked
- 32:42Speaker 1: about it, you said you told four other people before
- 32:44Speaker 1: you told us.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Well, I had to tell the ex wife. Why.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Oh, because she's my family, she's my hurry much not No, No,
- 32:56Speaker 3: she's my homie, she's she's my dude.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Uh So I had to tell her.
- 33:01Speaker 3: I had to tell my best friend from college, and uh,
- 33:08Speaker 3: I had.
- 33:08Speaker 2: To tell two other people. One is my nephew who
- 33:13Speaker 2: lives here in Dallas, and one is my brother, who
- 33:16Speaker 2: is the one who got me into seeing the neurologists
- 33:23Speaker 2: this week. So after that, you.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Told your doctor brother, your doctor brother's son, no, my
- 33:34Speaker 1: best friend from college, yes, and your ex wife before
- 33:39Speaker 1: you told me in trade.
- 33:42Speaker 2: They would handle it better. You don't think we're handling
- 33:46Speaker 2: this news? No, No, I mean Trey can't look at me.
- 33:51Speaker 10: Sure you know what Dan's about to do.
- 33:54Speaker 2: You don't know?
- 33:57Speaker 10: Yeah, I do, because I did it.
- 34:00Speaker 1: He knows because he sent it to me. All I'm
- 34:03Speaker 1: saying is we want you to know that we are
- 34:06Speaker 1: here for you in the event that you need any help.

- 34:35Speaker 1: the rug on occasion.
- 34:37Speaker 2: He may.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I haven't seen him drop any deuces in the living room,
- 34:45Speaker 1: but anything's possible with a shaky Rise.
- 34:49Speaker 2: What you guys did, Okay, I hope you guys get cancer.
- 34:54Speaker 1: We're all gonna get cancer, Rise, but only one of
- 34:58Speaker 1: us we'll have cancer and the shakes.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Can I give you a chef's kiss? That was beautiful,
- 35:11Speaker 3: my friend as a comic and as an Indian.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Once a month you'll receive a pamphlet.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Do I have to write somebody a note?
- 35:24Speaker 1: And you'll get a letter from RAJ once a month
- 35:28Speaker 1: thanking you for the new outfits.
- 35:30Speaker 2: You're eighteen dollars bottom.
- 35:32Speaker 10: It's really just scribble, it really is.
- 35:36Speaker 1: It looks like one of those shaky pins from the nineties.
- 35:39Speaker 2: You think I wear eighteen dollar clothes.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Well, you just people are going to send you things.
- 35:49Speaker 1: By all means, thank you so much for you to

- 36:00Speaker 10: As long as we get donations.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, as long as we get the donations.
- 36:03Speaker 1: If we don't get the donations, we're gonna have to
- 36:06Speaker 1: create you while we leave, because we don't want you

- 37:28Speaker 1: Home and Raj Sharma inside the Treehouse today Monday March tenth,
- 37:33Speaker 1: two thousand twenty five. I say, let's celebrate today, not
- 37:37Speaker 1: because Raj has a disease, but because there's birthdays to celebrate.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and I have a disease, and also Raj.
- 37:45Speaker 5: Has a disease.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Olivia wild turns forty one today. Actress, turn director, producer,
- 37:53Speaker 1: and X of one Jason sudetis Olivia Wilde turns forty
- 37:58Speaker 1: one today, which I don't know if you guys knew this,
- 38:02Speaker 1: So it was all, it was all. I didn't follow
- 38:05Speaker 1: the relationship closely, but i'd see little things here and
- 38:07Speaker 1: there between Jason Sadekas and Olivia Wilde because I was
- 38:10Speaker 1: really happy for him, because he's just a normal dude
- 38:14Speaker 1: who happen to be really funny, really talented, but very
- 38:16Speaker 1: average looking if we're being honest, right, And he got
- 38:19Speaker 1: very popular, very famous on Saturday Night Live, which led
- 38:23Speaker 1: to movies and attention and that and part of who
- 38:27Speaker 1: gave him that attention is the very attractive Olivia Wilde.
- 38:31Speaker 1: And even he was stunned that she was giving him
- 38:33Speaker 1: the time of day. Well that's not all she gave him,
- 38:36Speaker 1: because they got married, family, and then eventually, like most
- 38:41Speaker 1: people do, they got divorced. And even their divorce story
- 38:44Speaker 1: is interesting because she was on stage doing some sort
- 38:46Speaker 1: of panel for a film when she got served the
- 38:49Speaker 1: divorce papers. Yes, I mean that is cold blooded. It
- 38:54Speaker 1: wasn't Sadeka's fault. That was just the process server being
- 38:57Speaker 1: a huge, huge wiener. No, it wasn't because I thought
- 39:02Speaker 1: Jason Sedakas came out and said, no, that was not
- 39:05Speaker 1: supposed to that.
- 39:07Speaker 2: In Los Angeles, she was at.
- 39:11Speaker 3: A panel that she was doing for women in film,
- 39:17Speaker 3: women acting, women film, whatever, and he's the one who.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Sent the papers.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Well no, no, he filed for divorce and she had
- 39:25Speaker 1: to be served. So yeah, but he said that was
- 39:30Speaker 1: not supposed to go down that way.
- 39:32Speaker 2: That was a rogue process server. Uh Okay. I have
- 39:38Speaker 2: a buddy that my buddy Brian works at TMZ and
- 39:43Speaker 2: he's like, no, he sent it. It could be I
- 39:48Speaker 2: mean made up. So who knows.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I don't know what TMZ's credibility number is or Raja's
- 39:58Speaker 1: buddy's credibility number.
- 40:00Speaker 2: They well, they they're the ones that said Michael Jackson
- 40:04Speaker 2: died when CNN said he had a heart attack.
- 40:06Speaker 10: So yeah, that was also fifteen years ago.
- 40:12Speaker 4: I mean there was there was a time where TMZ
- 40:14Speaker 4: was probably a reliable source.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Yeah, very at the end of the day, there's still
- 40:19Speaker 1: a tabloid.
- 40:20Speaker 10: So I didn't even think the Sadakas thing.
- 40:24Speaker 4: It actually, like, I know, he said it, he didn't
- 40:29Speaker 4: do it, But that wasn't just divorce papers. I think
- 40:31Speaker 4: that was an ongoing legal battle and I think they
- 40:34Speaker 4: had to deal with yesterday, and so I'm more inclined
- 40:37Speaker 4: to believe that he did know what he was doing.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it was about the kid and the house. Yeah,
- 40:44Speaker 3: so you're I think, I think you're right.
- 40:46Speaker 4: Interesting, Yeah, because that I know that it got really
- 40:50Speaker 4: nasty between them.

- 41:02Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 41:03Speaker 2: Just look it up. It's it's kind of kind.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Was it, Adam Sandler that she was wearing?
- 41:09Speaker 5: Uh?
- 41:10Speaker 2: She was in the drawers? Okay, she she was in
- 41:16Speaker 2: her Uh huh.

- 41:24Speaker 2: You found it? Yeah, sounds like you found.
- 41:27Speaker 3: It not bad, right, I mean, whoever designed that dress?
- 41:35Speaker 1: I mean I have not seen it.
- 41:36Speaker 10: That would be racy for Victoria's secret. Uh huh.
- 41:39Speaker 1: That doesn't really sound like a dress.
- 41:41Speaker 10: Then it's really, it's not.
- 41:44Speaker 2: It's not.
- 41:46Speaker 4: She's in her under it said sexy lingerie.
- 41:49Speaker 1: No, that's I think she just I think she just
- 41:52Speaker 1: grabbed a curtain, so I'll wear this to the oscars.

- 43:37Speaker 1: I like good news.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Mm hm.
- 43:40Speaker 1: We just also really appreciate bad news because of one
- 43:47Speaker 1: of the tenets of this Treehouse show, yes, is being
- 43:53Speaker 1: able to lean into something bad and trying to find
- 43:59Speaker 1: some las after some humor within. That's that's kind of
- 44:04Speaker 1: how I have dealt with many things in recent years,
- 44:09Speaker 1: that is with humor and a slice of grace, but
- 44:15Speaker 1: mostly humor. Trey is similar because we've been conditioned this way.
- 44:20Speaker 1: We get bad news, we try to lean into it
- 44:22Speaker 1: and try to find something to make it more palatable.
- 44:26Speaker 1: And so when you tell us that you've got perhaps
- 44:30Speaker 1: this debilitating, debilitating neurological disease, we're.
- 44:39Speaker 2: But Tray didn't know.
- 44:40Speaker 1: We're going to make fun of it, and you should.
- 44:44Speaker 3: And I'm so glad he's like catching up because it

- 44:55Speaker 4: of it will be just watching you eat apple sauce.

- 45:08Speaker 2: Oh god?
- 45:11Speaker 1: Everyone we have to watch Raji try to eat apple sauce.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Either ways, for everyone.

- 45:22Speaker 3: people are on Patreon.
- 45:24Speaker 1: No, it's because if you're if you're gonna do it,
- 45:26Speaker 1: there needs to be a splash zone like a Gallagher show.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Oh it's it's in my pants, Save Saved, Save the
- 45:33Speaker 1: water works, raj for for the Treehouse road shows. If so,
- 45:37Speaker 1: we'll watch you eat apple sauce and you and you
- 45:39Speaker 1: can piss on yourself.
- 45:41Speaker 2: It'll be it'll be the tiger. I'll just eat apple sauce.
- 45:45Speaker 2: I'm not pissing myself.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Famous last words. All I'm saying is for just eighteen
- 45:54Speaker 1: dollars a month, you too can adopt a sweet, shaky
- 45:58Speaker 1: brown man because he really needs some exercise. He's been
- 46:03Speaker 1: stuck in that cage all damn day.
- 46:09Speaker 2: I don't know why.
