  He is the worst player of all time, but he still has a

  four-game week this week, 4 game week, next week, he's playing on

  power play 1. Is he a hold or a drop?

  Literally put up straight zeros the entirety of last week.

  I think he got one shot and one hit and one block over the
• 3:23
  course of three games. So is this the type of thing
• 3:27
  where you know it was a bad week, he just came back from
• 3:29
  injury, the schedule and deployment is too good and you
• 3:32
  hold on? Or is this like he's not doing
• 3:33
  anything for me? I need production right now.

  I'm dropping him. What do you think?

  I mean, listen, as you guys are listening to this, there's

  probably three games left for Seth Jones on the Thursday and

  then the back-to-back on the Saturday, Sunday with how he's

  been going and how you know Florida looks right now when you

  know every day feels like a new guys day-to-day are being held

  out. I have no remorse cutting Seth
• 3:56
  Jones at this point. I know it feels bad because if
• 3:59
  you have said you probably held them for so long hoping for him
• 4:01
  to come back from the injury, but it took so long that Florida
• 4:05
  does none of the running anymore than a playoff team.

  They don't want to win games, right?

  Like we're seeing, you know, Lundell miss games, Bennett
• 4:11
  missed the game, all their stars.

  Is Sam Reinhart going to come back?

  We have no idea. Probably not, um, sad tear from

  my face as he sits on my IR. But Seth Jones, I, I do not feel

  bad about cutting him. You look at the schedule and

  you're like, Oh my God, he's still got so many good games.

  Schedule is good. Like it feels bad cutting him

  for another guy that's gonna be maybe has just as good of a
• 4:34
  schedule or slightly worse, but if the quality is just so much

  better, at some point you just got to make that call.

  Yeah, it's crazy because he's been averaging, like 25 minutes

  a night since coming back. And like, I don't know, like,
• 4:46
  whenever, like, I see a guy average this much ice time and

  produce this many zeros, I'm like, is this guy playing, like,

  dodgeball out there? Like, you know, like, trying to

  not get touched by anything? Like, like, half of you have
• 4:57
  such low impact on the course of a game when you're on the ice

  for so long. It's baffling to me.

  But yeah, no, I think he's in. He's an easy cut.

  My plan was to hold him for, like, one or two more games to
• 5:09
  see, you know, if anything would happen, especially if Reinhardt
• 5:12
  came back. I think that would be a huge
• 5:13
  boost to Jones. But it's really not looking
• 5:16
  likely. It's looking like they're just
• 5:17
  shutting everyone down. So, So no, I don't feel bad
• 5:20
  dropping him as long as the person you're picking up you,
• 5:22
  you know, expect them to do anything better than zeros.
• 5:25
  So that's kind of where I stand with that.

  And my question to you is, like, you know, we've touched on
• 5:31
  Florida a few times in the recent episodes, just given like
• 5:34
  the landscape of, you know, their fantasy impact.
• 5:36
  But is there anybody on this team that you actually want to
• 5:38
  own right now? And if you do, like is anybody
• 5:41
  cuttable? The crazy thing to me is the
• 5:44
  only person I want to own in Florida at this point is
• 5:45
  Bobrovsky. And that's not because he's been
• 5:47
  so bad and I was so anti Bob for so long, but like he's like it's
• 5:52
  crazy that he just decided to be good once his team completely is
• 5:56
  out of it and they stopped trying and all that.
• 5:58
  So I would keep Bob at this point or I would pick him up
• 6:01
  like stream him. Like would you rather Bob or
• 6:02
  like Hofer? It's tough because logically Bob
• 6:06
  should be garbage. You know, he's been bad all year
• 6:08
  and the team sucks, but now he's turning it up.

  But I still, I like what Hofer's been doing a lot.

  So I think I don't know if you. Know this is not necessarily a
• 6:16
  team that you know is going to be in the running for the
• 6:19
  playoffs either anymore, right? But they still trying to win
• 6:21
  games. That's it.

  At least they haven't like fully thrown in the towel and they're
• 6:25
  not like actively tanking. So so now I probably still go
• 6:29
  home for but I think that 1 is really just based on the
• 6:31
  matchups. Whoever has better matchups I
• 6:33
  would go with. But yeah, in terms of Florida,
• 6:35
  like get him off your team. I don't think there's anyone I
• 6:37
  want. So like Sam Bennett, like you'd
• 6:39
  be willing to cut because he's been he's been pretty good.
• 6:41
  Like you look at the game log and he's actually been
• 6:42
  productive. Like the hits are not there,
• 6:44
  which is kind of surprising for like a Bennett archetype player.

  But he still got shots. The points are still there.

  Like you just put up straight zeros, but that happens.

  Anybody record? Raquel got straight zeros and we

  still happy to have him because of the schedule.

  Yeah, no, Bennett, like I would, I can see holding him, but like

  the second you get that day-to-day tag, you know, it

  just feels inevitable at this point.

  Like I would drop or if you start putting up like multiple

  games of straight zeros, I would drop.

  You know, like it's I don't have any attachment to any of these

  Florida players with what their team is doing.

  The glaring name? What about Matthew Truck?

  That is a glaring name. I feel like I haven't heard his

  name like at all. You know?

  Which is never a good sign when you know you have a guy that.

  Caliber, I mean over the last month he's at 1.25 points per

  game .4 power play points three shots then you know no, no

  castoff wins hits or blocks, but like nobody's talking about them

  because Florida's dog water a dollar sign dollar sign poop

  but. Now look, I mean, I didn't

  realize he was popping off that hard.

  Obviously you're not dropping. Good job.

  But I'm honestly surprised. I thought they'd completely

  thrown in the towel. I wouldn't be surprised if Zito

  comes at him with the with the crowbar later.

  A lot of people been asking like do I need to pick this guy up?

  Is he the pickup of the rest of the season?

  Do you think there's any chance he gets power play one over

  chicken this season? And another question is we've

  been getting some questions like keeper style questions about
• 8:09
  Hudson. Is he worth grabbing to be like
• 8:12
  last round keeper for next season?

  Like do we think he can get power play one at any point next
• 8:16
  season? Just thinking ahead.

  In keeper leagues, definitely more interested than redraft
• 8:24
  leagues, but in redraft leagues like these that end this year,
• 8:28
  you're making moves for semifinals or finals.

  I'm not taking the chance on Cole Hudson.

  I mean, I'm coming at this from a category league perspective.

  He just doesn't have a category coverage for me to be interested
• 8:38
  in him. And I just don't think that the
• 8:41
  power play 1 is it Like, I think chicken is like Chick is still a
• 8:44
  great player like Cole Hudson. Like, yeah, maybe he has a
• 8:47
  bright future ahead of him, but Chicken is like you don't just
• 8:50
  overtake that overnight because you have the name value, right?

  And your brother is really good. Yeah, I I think he has a lot of
• 8:56
  growing to do. I think next year will be
• 8:57
  exciting for him. Even next year.
• 8:59
  I don't see him necessarily having power play one.

  Maybe they run 2 defence on the power play like Washington has
• 9:04
  done that this year even feels like one of the only teams that
• 9:07
  actually considers that as an option.

  But to me, Chicken is still the main guy in keeper leagues.

  I'll be interested, but it has to be like a deeper, if you like
• 9:14
  more dynasty leagues where he's at, because keeping you'll
• 9:17
  probably have even better no options to keep.

  I'm not receiving you this late. That's when I know that my
• 9:23
  Pickles have to be valuable. I know he's got like 2 points in
• 9:26
  three games and he looks exciting and he's got a lot of
• 9:28
  hype, but a lot of zeros in those categories.

  And to me, that's just not it. Even in points leagues, I feel
• 9:32
  like it's too risky for me. I don't want to take the chance.

  Yeah, I fully agree. Um, only thing I'll say is maybe
• 9:38
  next year, like the fact they shipped Carlson out like opens
• 9:41
  an Ave. like he is now the second most likely defenseman to
• 9:44
  get power play one on that team. And like it's not exactly the
• 9:48
  same, but it reminds you of one like lane.

  Hudson came in right and Matheson was the power play one
• 9:52
  guy on the Habs and Hudson started on power play 2 for the
• 9:55
  first like half of that year. And I didn't think there was any
• 9:59
  way he was going to get power play one because it seems like
• 10:02
  Madison had just had an unreal year the year before.

  And then eventually Hudson just played his way onto it because
• 10:07
  he was just too good and too exciting with prospect.

  So I don't know how cool compares to to lane, but I think
• 10:13
  he's a very exciting prospect in his own right.

  And so I wouldn't say it's impossible.

  And honestly, like for that reason, I'm kind of worried.

  I don't know if I would draft check for next year because I
• 10:24
  don't, you know, I mean, obviously depends where you get
• 10:25
  him, but I think you can only get him in higher high rounds.

  Like people are gonna assume he's a guaranteed full season
• 10:30
  power play on defenseman. And I think there's a chance
• 10:33
  that Hudson gets it like halfway through the season or something
• 10:35
  like that. I don't think it's high, but I
• 10:36
  think there's a possibility. I have two things to add.

  I will say though, like Washington, I feel he has two

  solid power play units because if you look at how the units are
• 10:45
  right now, like Hudson's got 2 points in three games.

  Both points have been power play points.

  So they're like, Oh yeah, like, you know, gotta pay attention to
• 10:51
  this, but it's on power play too, except power play 2's got
• 10:54
  OVV. He's always got over.
• 10:55
  So that helps. And then?

  Maybe not next year. Maybe not next year, but I think

  you will. But I guess you never know.

  But he's also got Strome and the best Connor make in the league

  so and our guests to arrive. So I feel like it's like a

  decent Airplay 2 unit. The fact that you have like a

  star player on both units helps. But next year maybe we're

  looking at this as the second thing I wanna say is maybe it's
• 11:16
  gonna be like the Haskin Harley situation of this year, like
• 11:20
  feeling hasn't got pushed down a little bit because everybody
• 11:22
  thought Harley was, you know, he got paid, he might take over.

  He's gonna kind of like he's always trash for fantasy.

  And then this year ended up being great and everybody that
• 11:30
  drafted Harley got got bumped out.

  Yeah, shafted. So maybe next year it's kind of
• 11:35
  like a similar thing. I guess we'll see.

  It for sure. Yeah.

  Like that's it, you don't know exactly and like the possibility

  usually brings down the players value a bit, but then if they

  end up keeping it, then you got a huge deal, but if they don't,

  then it's a Big L. So it's a it's just something to

  keep an eye on for sure. No, all right, next we've got

  biggest golden Knights as a whole.

  They keep getting shut out. They got shut out.

  I think they hadn't scored a goal in like 190 minutes.

  They finally scored a goal in their third game of full week

  last week and the top guys disappeared.

  of being like the only one who like got a couple points was

  Um, so like what do you do with these Vegas guys?

  It's just like, you know, there aren't like, are any of them

  droppable or is it like you just have to hold and hope for the

  best? This is so tough.

  Like I think to me, the after post Olympics, it feels like all

  these guys just kind of like pump the brakes and coaching for

  the rest of the year, which I don't know if that was the goal

  or if it's just it feels like it can't be the goal, right.

  These are still like, you know, top level hockey players that

  are some of the most talented players on on the planet.

  So they don't just like, you know, even if they were maybe a

  little bit checked out, I feel like it doesn't get this bad,

  right. So I think it's just a bad run

  of form. It worked out in my favor

  because I played against Jack Eagle last week.

  So, you know, he had four games that I was it was super

  dangerous, but he ended up not being too much of AA threat,

  which is surprising. I feel it's been like that for

  In terms of players you listed, I think Hurdle is a cut.

  He's been like the least productive out of all of them.

  Like if you play in face off league maybe he's like a sliver

  of a hole because of how valuable that the left wing

  faceoffs are, but he's a cut Dora fail.

  I'm still keeping. There's only one player in the

  entire league that has more power play goals this season

  than Dorffel. Do you know who that is?

  Johnston. Yeah.

  Wyatt Johnston So I feel like even even through this slump,

  you can't cut a guy that's like so good at that specific thing.

  Cause power play points are very valuable in categories.

  It touches all the categories for points in even in points

  leagues, like you usually get bonuses for those.

  So I'm not cutting him the one like I'm not cutting Icon

  either. You can't like this is the guy

  that when he's playing at his level, he's playing top top ten

  player in fantasy. No, yeah, Marner is a second

  round pick type of player. Stone was also second round

  picked up a player. Marr has been, you know,

  delivering a little bit more often.

  But I got a question like, do I drop Mark Stone for, you know,

  Gay Perot this week to fit in my thing?

  And I know we're later in the week at this point when this

  episode comes out. So that's not a question anymore

  given, you know, how many games are left.

  But that's the thing you have to be thinking about.

  Yeah, like the answer is definitely not, but but it's

  like worth a question because like we always talk about, you

  Like there's certain guys who are just at such a high caliber

  It was a garbage week, cost me like my playoffs, you know, cost

  a lot of people who owned in their playoffs.

  But like, you're not going to drop celebrity for a gay parole.

  You know, like like it's A and like Stone has been points for

  game wise, like just as good, if not better than like those top

  guys. So now you just can't you you

  just have to hold on and it sucks and you know, you you made

  your bed with your top players and you have to lie in it with

  your top players, you know, like whatever that sounds like, but

  you know what I mean? Like there's just like there's

  some guys that you can't cut because the upside of them

  turning it around is just too high that there's no one on

  waivers is going to be comparable.

  Obviously in the shallower year league goes, the higher the line

  gets on whose droppable, But but there's some guys who I don't

  think in any league are droppable.

  This is like such a hard question for me because I know

  in the Discord we get a lot of questions unlike basically

  asking for permission to cut a player.

  And there's a lot of responsibility for us to take on

  our shoulders because I know that like, you know, me going

  one way or the other can really sway your matchup.

  And I feel like more often than not, we make the good call, but

  there's a lot of no misses in there too.

  And you know, we have to understand that it is a range of

  outcomes and you're trying to do the best that you can.

  But somebody said like, do I cut Mark stone, You know, this week

  in week 2022 for somebody? And I was like, I don't think

  you can cut Mark Stone. Like, you know, they were lucky

  enough to have a a bio, so it gives them more information.

  But if he wasn't on the bio, we could have the same.

  I had the same like thought process.

  I was just like, this guy is like too good to just cut and

  stream like a Connor Brown or something.

  Like I just can't. Yeah, I don't have it in me to

  pull that. But then look at the end of the

  week, he loses the match up and Stone got one point out of three

  games and, you know, a lot of straight zeros.

  I'm gonna feel awful. I'm gonna be like, Dang, I feel

  like I posted this person in their matchup.

  But I still believe that it was the process, right?

  Maybe just a growing opportunity for me be like, you know, I, I

  can give the best advice that I can, but at the end of the day,

  like fantasy will do fantasy and you can't get everything right.

  I just feel the burden and the guilt.

  But hopefully it doesn't work out cause these guys are just

  elite players. Like like you said, you made

  your bed. You gotta lie in it and you

  gotta trust them. Like you're not cutting

  celebrity because he had a few bad games.

  I want to say this was like three seasons ago, something

  like that, I think was maybe my first season in the league where

  I had Mark Stone. And then he got, like injured

  for the whole season. And then I, like, dropped him.

  Yeah. And then Jakey, I like, I ended

  up going up against Jake in the finals and he picked up Mark

  Stone. And I was like, so pissed.

  I was like, oh, my God. He like got stoned for free.

  He's gonna use him against me. And Stone put up straight zeros

  for a week. And I was like, it was a sleeper

  agent. Yeah.

  I remember was making jokes about that for so long.

  Yeah, so I was like, no, but you can't drive him.

  But alright, let's move on to the next one.

  A more +1. We've got Troy Terry the GOAT.

  He is back on line. One power play on for Anaheim.

  He's been killing it. I don't know what his roster

  percentage is at right now, but I know I've been seeing his name

  a lot. And is he a must pick up if
• 17:34
  available? Currently 46% owned to me.

  Very available. To me, line one power play 1,

  Troy Terry was always a very solid player throughout the
• 17:46
  season. Josh has mentioned multiple
• 17:47
  times that he was trying to buy Troy Terry when he didn't have
• 17:50
  that deployment because he was so, you know, confident in the
• 17:53
  fact that like, if he gets a deployment back, you'll be very
• 17:55
  valuable for fantasy. Didn't happen for a long time.

  It's happening right now. So right now I feel it's time to

  act and you know, Anaheim has a great schedule for these next
• 18:04
  two weeks. To me is a must pick up.

  And to me the question becomes like, OK, no, Is it in the same
