- 0:02Speaker 1: In the world of rules in gray areas, one morning
- 0:04Speaker 1: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 0:06Speaker 2: We both know you're guilty, he's guilty. Is it legal?
- 0:11Speaker 1: You're guilty of the worst crime of all?
- 0:14Speaker 2: On Big ninety eight point seven, Is it legal?
- 0:19Speaker 3: Or rather, is there a grace period if your tabs
- 0:23Speaker 3: on your car are expired?
- 0:26Speaker 1: So, after some intense research for the last six minutes,
- 0:32Speaker 1: apparently some folks do think there is a grace period
- 0:36Speaker 1: after your license plate tabs expire.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Like, oh, yeah, it's fine, I got a few weeks.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Some of you here all the time growing up. No, no, no,
- 0:45Speaker 1: you do not have a grace period. The only grace
- 0:48Speaker 1: you're going to get is the grace of the officer
- 0:50Speaker 1: who might let you off with a warning and ask
- 0:53Speaker 1: you to change your tabs please, And.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Who knows if they're going to do that.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Sometimes that definitely happens, you know, you get pulled up
- 1:00Speaker 1: over an officer's like, hey, you're going thirty nine and
- 1:02Speaker 1: a thirty five.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Also your tabs are expired.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Right, Most times you might get lucky and they just say, hey,
- 1:09Speaker 1: we know things can get busy, you might not have
- 1:11Speaker 1: time whatever, whatever, but please do that as soon as possible.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Once those tabs expire, boom, you are technically driving dirty.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It's basically like your car is saying, hey, officer, do
- 1:25Speaker 1: me a solid Please.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Look at me all right and listen like I get it.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You see the little envelope from the DMV and you think, eh,
- 1:32Speaker 1: future me, that's that's two week Gabe problem or two
- 1:34Speaker 1: week Angie press.
- 1:35Speaker 4: That's how I live my life.
- 1:37Speaker 1: The trick is to get those done as soon as
- 1:40Speaker 1: you possibly can. Now, there might be a little caveat
- 1:44Speaker 1: to this, and we're gonna find out what that caveat
- 1:47Speaker 1: is as far as getting a ticket for those expired
- 1:51Speaker 1: license plate tabs. And we're gonna find out from Hunter,
- 1:55Speaker 1: who went through this fairly recentcy recently with a work truck.
- 2:00Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna hear from Hunter coming up at
- 2:01Speaker 1: about eight minutes or so here on Big ninety eight
- 2:04Speaker 1: point seven, Big ninety Hunter, what happened with you and
- 2:09Speaker 1: your work truck?
- 2:11Speaker 5: I got stopped in my work picked up and our
- 2:12Speaker 5: cabs were actually expired the state it was flit several months,
- 2:16Speaker 5: like six months. Oh, the state super state super told
- 2:20Speaker 5: me because it was past three months, he had to
- 2:22Speaker 5: give me a ticket. That was their Polish. So three
- 2:25Speaker 5: months and he won't get a ticket. But after that
- 2:27Speaker 5: they have to give you.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Well see that is great information. After three months, if
- 2:31Speaker 1: your tabs are expired for three months, old, get on it.
- 2:37Speaker 1: But after three months, it's basically you are going to
- 2:40Speaker 1: get a ticket.
- 2:41Speaker 4: And then before three months they could.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Give you a ticket, could give you a ticket.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I'm kind of curious how many how many people are
- 2:50Speaker 1: rolling around the FM area right now, just riding dirty.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I know I need to make an appointment at the DMV.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Ninety Megan, how you doing. Where are you calling from?
- 3:00Speaker 3: I'm calling from Fargo.
- 3:00Speaker 5: I'm doing good. I just had a college about my tabs.
- 3:04Speaker 5: I just got new tabs, but I apparently had driven
- 3:06Speaker 5: around with expired ones for the entire prior year.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Oh oh no, I had them.
- 3:14Speaker 5: I had them, they were in they were in my
- 3:16Speaker 5: glove box.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I just never put them on and I.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Didn't realize that I hadn't put them on until I
- 3:21Speaker 5: got to this year's tabs and I went.
- 3:23Speaker 1: To put them on, and I was like, that's something.
- 3:25Speaker 5: There's something wrong.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Do you know what's incredible, Megan, is I promise you
- 3:31Speaker 1: there is someone in the FM area right now listening
- 3:34Speaker 1: to Big ninety eight point seven, who's just had a
- 3:37Speaker 1: light bulb go off in their brain and went.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Oh no, my tabs are in the glove box.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Celebrating life's little victories victory every morning we practice gratitude
- 3:50Speaker 1: on Big ninety eight point seven. If I could, I
- 3:53Speaker 1: would keep this feeling in a basket job busted out
- 3:56Speaker 1: when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I just really needed to win.
- 3:59Speaker 1: You know, are your little victories with us at seven
- 4:02Speaker 1: oh one two seven and a big shout out to Lori.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Today, Angie Laurie sent us a little victory.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Yeah, she said, it's very little, but I made my
- 4:12Speaker 3: first apple cranberry loaf of the season and the family
- 4:15Speaker 3: loved it.
- 4:17Speaker 4: What's it that sounds delicious?
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Can we get a recipe?
- 4:20Speaker 3: No?
- 4:20Speaker 4: Also, if it's the first one, can you bring us
- 4:22Speaker 4: the second.
- 4:25Speaker 1: If at any point you have a little victory and
- 4:27Speaker 1: these are perfect. I think these are the things that
- 4:30Speaker 1: gets you up and get you going for the day.
- 4:32Speaker 1: It's not always like oh I got this big giant
- 4:34Speaker 1: promotion that is the reason that makes your day fun
- 4:37Speaker 1: or exciting. Sometimes it's I made what was it an
- 4:40Speaker 1: apple cranberry, an.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Apple, cranberry loaf.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Sometimes that's the reason you had joy yesterday. And you
- 4:46Speaker 1: know what, that is more than enough. So we love
- 4:49Speaker 1: hearing those things.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Let us know.
- 4:50Speaker 1: It's seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven, Angie,
- 4:54Speaker 1: what type of gratitude you practicing today?
- 4:57Speaker 3: I am very grateful that after eight long months, we
- 5:02Speaker 3: got ourselves a dining room table. It arrived yesterday and
- 5:08Speaker 3: I was of no use putting it together. Of course
- 5:10Speaker 3: I am who I am. But Mikey, my amazing boyfriend,
- 5:13Speaker 3: and no, it's not embarrassing to have a boyfriend. My
- 5:16Speaker 3: amazing boyfriend put together the table and the chairs, and
- 5:19Speaker 3: we had our first dinner at the dining room table
- 5:23Speaker 3: instead of on the stools at the kitchen island.
- 5:26Speaker 4: So that was very exciting the kids.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Ru the kids were not thrilled when we said we
- 5:32Speaker 3: have a surprise. It's the dining room table. They were like, uh,
- 5:35Speaker 3: it couldn't be toys. It was very but they seemed
- 5:39Speaker 3: real excited yesterday when they were sitting at the dining
- 5:42Speaker 3: room table and they said, ooh and we can still
- 5:44Speaker 3: see the TV.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, they thought they had a gift common and really
- 5:47Speaker 1: it was one of those gifts you love when you're
- 5:50Speaker 1: in your thirties.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Exactly. Sorry, my kids are fifteen and eight.
- 5:54Speaker 2: They'll appreciate it one day.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yeah all right, Well for me today, I got to
- 5:59Speaker 1: wear my Mighty Ducks. I'm talking classic nineties Mighty Ducks
- 6:05Speaker 1: Charlie Conway, Jersey to work today. And there's a reason
- 6:09Speaker 1: we have unhinged today or we're gonna be at unhinged
- 6:12Speaker 1: excuse me for big happy hour from five to seven. Yes,
- 6:15Speaker 1: and just the way professional sports work here in Central Time,
- 6:20Speaker 1: a lot of those games start at seven o'clock, so
- 6:23Speaker 1: it's right when we're kind of packing up and getting
- 6:25Speaker 1: out of there. Well, the Minnesota Wild I've double checked
- 6:28Speaker 1: play the Hurricanes today at six o'clock so we can
- 6:34Speaker 1: enjoy unhinged happy hour together today. Stop, buy your first
- 6:38Speaker 1: beers on us. We obviously will have some prizes for you,
- 6:42Speaker 1: hopefully if you're the winner. And we should have the
- 6:45Speaker 1: Wild game on at six, we can watch some hockey together.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Yeah, excite.
- 6:48Speaker 1: In honor of that, I decided to bust out the
- 6:51Speaker 1: Mighty Ducks. I'm talking classic green, purple, yellow.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna take a picture of you and post
- 6:58Speaker 3: this on the big ninety points in face page because
- 7:00Speaker 3: when I saw you walk by me this morning, I thought, okay.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Vibrant, okay, very loud.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Yes, I love it. Oh, this is exciting. You're gonna
- 7:09Speaker 4: wear this too unhinged tonight.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Of course I love this.
- 7:12Speaker 4: That's a major.
- 7:21Speaker 2: AI. You know me, I got I keep my ear
- 7:23Speaker 2: to the to the curb. What's that saying? I don't know? Oh, well,
- 7:29Speaker 2: you know. I'm all about the TikTok.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Okay, you stay on top of the trend.
- 7:33Speaker 2: That's right.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm all about the TikTok here and this is a
- 7:37Speaker 1: very viral video that the comments are kind of interesting
- 7:41Speaker 1: because they're they're so.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Split. Okay, split is the way to put it on.
- 7:47Speaker 1: If these texts really work, okay, this woman has basically
- 7:52Speaker 1: given guys advice if you want to give a girl
- 7:56Speaker 1: butterflies or the girl you gotta crush on, the girl
- 7:58Speaker 1: of your dreams. Then heard these texts, Oh okay, and
- 8:02Speaker 1: of course I have the texts for you.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Please. Oh this is interesting.
- 8:06Speaker 1: So I want to know if this is a TikTok
- 8:08Speaker 1: hack for any dude out there or ladies chime in?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Would this work on you? Seven oh one two eight
- 8:14Speaker 1: zero one nine eight seven. Let the fellas know. Hey, yeah,
- 8:17Speaker 1: this is a good idea harder in math class. Could
- 8:20Speaker 1: you send me this please?
- 8:21Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:21Speaker 1: All right, Angel? What about this one? This first one
- 8:23Speaker 1: from this young lady?
- 8:25Speaker 2: You look so good today, short, sweetened to the point.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Absolutely yes, Please tell me I look good. That's like
- 8:32Speaker 4: she's on the money.
- 8:33Speaker 1: So that is a TikTok hack as opposed to a
- 8:35Speaker 1: TikTok whack.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Correct.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Okay, here we go. Here's your second one. When you
- 8:38Speaker 2: have five minutes, get me a call so I can
- 8:40Speaker 2: hear your voice. Oh that's cute.
- 8:42Speaker 4: That's cute.
- 8:43Speaker 3: But the first reading it when you have five minutes,
- 8:46Speaker 3: give me a call anxiety.
- 8:47Speaker 4: I think something's wrong. No, I'm going to throw up
- 8:50Speaker 4: if you don't tell me right now. I don't like it.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Okay, that's a TikTok whack to me. That seems a

- 9:25Speaker 1: So that is her one hundred percent can't miss. How's
- 9:29Speaker 1: my little big ninety eight point seven morning show host
- 9:31Speaker 1: doing today?
- 9:32Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you think that works? I like it.
- 9:35Speaker 1: We have dubbed that a fittock hack. Do you have
- 9:42Speaker 1: any holiday gift rules? Seven oh one two eight zero
- 9:46Speaker 1: one nine eight seven nile, what's your rule?
- 9:49Speaker 2: Man?
- 9:50Speaker 1: No opening any presidents until Christmas Day?
- 9:53Speaker 3: Even on Christas Eve.
- 9:54Speaker 5: You have to wait until midnight until you open anything.
- 9:56Speaker 5: And that's just been the tradition in our house for
- 9:59Speaker 5: as long as I can read.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm not gonna flame anyone's tradition. I'm not gonna hate
- 10:03Speaker 1: on anyone's tradition.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Angie.
- 10:05Speaker 1: We were a Christmas Eve family growing up. We did
- 10:08Speaker 1: mom and dad gifts on Christmas Eve, Santa gifts on
- 10:12Speaker 1: Christmas Day.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Oh okay, you know what for me?
- 10:15Speaker 3: Because I'm Cuban, so we celebrate which is Christmas Eve, okay,
- 10:21Speaker 3: and we eat dinner and then open all presents on
- 10:26Speaker 3: Christmas Eve and let it ripped.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah literally, yes, yes.
- 10:29Speaker 3: And then Christmas Day you get to just keep playing
- 10:32Speaker 3: with the toys and using the stuff that you opened
- 10:35Speaker 3: the day prize.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I have a gift giving I guess rule that would
- 10:39Speaker 1: make me incredibly selfish, and I can Why am I
- 10:42Speaker 1: not surprised? I can't decide if I'm ashamed of it
- 10:45Speaker 1: or not. But when I give someone a gift, I
- 10:48Speaker 1: don't care if you hate this thing.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I don't care if you have five of them.
- 10:53Speaker 1: You put on your best dang smile, and you pretend
- 10:57Speaker 1: to be as grateful for that thing I give you
- 11:00Speaker 1: as possible. Okay, otherwise I will never get you a
- 11:03Speaker 1: gift again ever.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Oh great, now I know, and I gotta do this.
- 11:06Speaker 2: You fake it till you make it. Okay.
- 11:09Speaker 1: That's my gift giving rule, which is selfish.
- 11:12Speaker 4: That's funny.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I have a selfish one, and it is really cheap
- 11:17Speaker 3: on my part. But if I give you a gift
- 11:19Speaker 3: in a gift bag and we open Presence together, I'm
- 11:23Speaker 3: gonna need that gift bag back.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Oh you keep it, I keep you gonna use it? Yo,
- 11:30Speaker 2: I'm a monster?
- 11:31Speaker 4: Does that make me cheap.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Absolutely, you are not the only person hanging out right
- 11:36Speaker 1: now who does that. Someone for sure, listening to their
- 11:38Speaker 1: radio right now is like, yeah, I keep.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Them what I keep the bank.
- 11:41Speaker 4: You are my people.
- 11:43Speaker 1: We did have Marla chime in u or excuse me, sorry,
- 11:47Speaker 1: we did have a Lissa Alyssa. She said, my grandma
- 11:50Speaker 1: doesn't allow gift cards to be given or received at Christmas,
- 11:54Speaker 1: So no little gimme twenty dollars gift card to cases.
- 11:59Speaker 3: That's so oh funny those goal in stockings. If you're
- 12:02Speaker 3: gonna do a gift card, that's a stocking stuffer. But
- 12:04Speaker 3: I think that that's a great Alyssa. You said your
- 12:07Speaker 3: grandma is onto something.
- 12:09Speaker 4: I do like that.
- 12:10Speaker 1: And now Kathleen said, if I ask for something that cleans,
- 12:15Speaker 1: then it's okay. So unless she wants the vacuum, that's
- 12:18Speaker 1: a nice gift for April twelfth.
- 12:20Speaker 4: What's April twelve?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Nothing? A random Tuesday? Okay, that's a good gift for
- 12:25Speaker 2: that day.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And then finally Ali said, this year, I want kitchen
- 12:28Speaker 1: gadgets or a tattoo appointment, two very different gift giving rules.
- 12:33Speaker 2: This year.
- 12:34Speaker 3: They are in their thirties. I can guarantee it all right, Tara?
- 12:37Speaker 2: Do you have a holiday gift giving rule?
- 12:40Speaker 3: My rol is no practical views, like if it plugs
- 12:43Speaker 3: in or between something, then it's not a present. And
- 12:46Speaker 3: my husband learned that the hard way with the Vacuum
- 12:49Speaker 3: of twenty nineteen.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I love that name.
- 12:52Speaker 4: I love the Vacuum of twenty ninety.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I am picturing them around their Christmas tree or table,
- 12:57Speaker 1: and you know that story comes up every the Great
- 13:01Speaker 1: Tragedy Vacuum of twenty nineteen. I need some good, starting
- 13:10Speaker 1: off the day with something good. This is Gabe's Good
- 13:13Speaker 1: News on Big ninety eight point seven. Because of the
- 13:19Speaker 1: licensing slash copyright restrictions with this show at West Fargo School,
- 13:25Speaker 1: they can include the title and social media posts. The
- 13:28Speaker 1: title can only be on the theater's page and cannot
- 13:31Speaker 1: be shared anywhere else on social media. This is something
- 13:34Speaker 1: I found Angie on the good old of course Internet.
- 13:36Speaker 1: As West Fargo High School is doing a musical they
- 13:41Speaker 1: can't advertise for, but supposedly it is really good. Well,
- 13:46Speaker 1: they can't advertise, but I sure can go check out
- 13:49Speaker 1: this this musical all right. They have a performance tomorrow
- 13:53Speaker 1: and on Saturday at seven point thirty and then on
- 13:57Speaker 1: Sunday at two pm, let your.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Sell some tickets and go check it out.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You know, I'm a I'm a big musical guy now,
- 14:03Speaker 1: all right, ever since well, I guess just Hamilton, but
- 14:06Speaker 1: you get the point.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Well, unrelated, When I was in high school, we did
- 14:11Speaker 3: a musical called Hadestown.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you were a theater kid.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Yeah, theater kid, and we did a musical called Hadestown.
- 14:19Speaker 3: And I just thought I should let you know today
- 14:22Speaker 3: that Hadestown is a musical that sometimes high schoolers are in.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah, unrelated.
- 14:29Speaker 1: The show sounds great, it sounds incredible from everything I've
- 14:31Speaker 1: seen on the internet. So whatever this musical happens to be,
- 14:35Speaker 1: it's super it's super good. And they have performances today,
- 14:39Speaker 1: tomorrow and on Sunday.
- 14:42Speaker 2: And what were you were in?
- 14:44Speaker 4: What Hades Town?
- 14:45Speaker 3: Oh?
- 14:46Speaker 1: Okay, I was double checking that. Okay, Well, the world's
- 14:48Speaker 1: full of nice people. If you can't find one, you
- 14:50Speaker 1: gotta be one.
