- 0:10SPEAKER_07: You look gorgeous.
- 0:11SPEAKER_07: My dress already ate my phone.
- 0:13SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 0:17SPEAKER_07: You're getting smaller.
- 0:19SPEAKER_07: Hi.
- 0:20SPEAKER_07: How are you?
- 0:21SPEAKER_07: Good.
- 0:21SPEAKER_07: How are you?
- 0:22SPEAKER_07: You look huge.
- 0:23SPEAKER_07: Huge.
- 0:24SPEAKER_07: I know.
- 0:25SPEAKER_07: We're um exploring with uh sit-down drag.
- 0:28SPEAKER_07: It looks great.
- 0:28SPEAKER_07: I've never had a sit-down and drag.
- 0:30SPEAKER_07: So there's that.
- 0:31SPEAKER_06: Gorgeous.
- 0:32SPEAKER_06: Walk us through your process.
- 0:33SPEAKER_06: What's going on in this look?
- 0:34SPEAKER_06: Is this or is this um who are you wearing?
- 0:36SPEAKER_06: What is your problem?
- 0:37SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it can be.
- 0:38SPEAKER_07: Who am I wearing?
- 0:39SPEAKER_07: I'm wearing um a piece of garbage from off the rack.
- 0:43SPEAKER_07: And as I am always wearing off the rack.
- 0:46SPEAKER_07: And my problem is I guess I couldn't find the nail color that I wanted, which is that's your problem today?
- 0:53SPEAKER_07: That's my problem.
- 0:54SPEAKER_07: That's not a bad problem to have.
- 0:55SPEAKER_07: Because I feel like I have a vision for all of these looks, and based on my budget and whatever resources, I can't like find what I want because I have it in my head, but then I try to like you know, whatever.
- 1:07SPEAKER_07: I was going for like a sable camel.
- 1:11SPEAKER_07: Camel.
- 1:12SPEAKER_07: Not saddle.
- 1:14SPEAKER_07: So unfortunately, I went to three CVS's, didn't find anything.
- 1:18SPEAKER_07: Uh-huh.
- 1:18SPEAKER_07: And I'm I'm having like a get me out of New York week because of that.
- 1:22SPEAKER_06: That's what gets you out of New York.
- 1:24SPEAKER_06: Yeah, because everything is.
- 1:27SPEAKER_07: Everything is out of stock, picked over, and it's like a girl just needs a shade of saddle.
- 1:32SPEAKER_07: Not saddle, camel.
- 1:34SPEAKER_07: Not saddle.
- 1:35SPEAKER_07: Not this.
- 1:37SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:37SPEAKER_06: I think that's a good idea.
- 1:38SPEAKER_06: It's very like baby poop brown.
- 1:40SPEAKER_07: Yeah, sorry, everyone got diarrhea nails today.
- 1:42SPEAKER_07: Zoom in on the nails.
- 1:43SPEAKER_07: Yeah, we need an AC.
- 1:44SPEAKER_06: I don't actually have anybody on nail cam today.
- 1:46SPEAKER_06: Um it's giving um it's giving Wonka Chocolate River topical.
- 1:50SPEAKER_06: Tea.
- 1:51SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:51SPEAKER_06: Have you seen that?
- 1:53SPEAKER_06: Can we do okay, we might need to get into this later, but it's like w I don't understand Hollywood's obsession with Wonka.
- 1:57SPEAKER_06: Like, is it because it's like public domain?
- 2:00SPEAKER_06: Is that why?
- 2:00SPEAKER_06: Like they're just like they can keep making it over and over.
- 2:02SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
- 2:03SPEAKER_06: I guess it's a prequel.
- 2:04SPEAKER_06: Or because the kids love candy?
- 2:07SPEAKER_07: Kids love candy.
- 2:09SPEAKER_07: Kids love chocolate.
- 2:12SPEAKER_06: And the story behind it.
- 2:13SPEAKER_06: Yeah, they've always asked, where does it come from and who's the guy that is in charge of it?
- 2:17SPEAKER_06: Well, see you in theaters.
- 2:19unknown: Yeah.
- 2:20SPEAKER_06: See you seated for that one.
- 2:21SPEAKER_06: Who are you wearing and what is your problem?
- 2:23SPEAKER_06: I'm wearing um I'm wearing an like every animal print in one shirt.
- 2:28SPEAKER_06: Uh this is Marjan.
- 2:30SPEAKER_06: C's Marjan.
- 2:32SPEAKER_06: That's what Google told me, how it's pronounced.
- 2:34SPEAKER_06: And then this is a um uh Russian-Turkish baths t-shirt, uh, courtesy of my my boyfriend slash fiancee, as we were just talking.
- 2:43SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you know, there is it's always it is a little bit weird for a gay guy to say fiance.
- 2:48SPEAKER_06: Why is it weird to say fiance?
- 2:50SPEAKER_06: I don't know, because it's like uh it's a little faggy.
- 2:54SPEAKER_06: Like fiance.
- 2:56SPEAKER_06: Well, fiance, yeah.
- 2:56SPEAKER_07: Actually, that is such a humiliating word because it's French and like it's just I don't know.
- 3:00SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 3:00SPEAKER_07: It's so formal.
- 3:01SPEAKER_07: And it's so like white woman or something.
- 3:03SPEAKER_07: Definitely white woman.
- 3:04SPEAKER_06: I'm like a white woman today.
- 3:06SPEAKER_06: Today.
- 3:07SPEAKER_06: Oh yeah.
- 3:08SPEAKER_06: I mean, I guess I guess my problem is sort of like uh wedding stuff related.
- 3:12SPEAKER_06: It's a whole big pain in the ass to try and get one of those things together, those things being a wedding.
- 3:17SPEAKER_07: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
- 3:18SPEAKER_07: Thank you so much.
- 3:19SPEAKER_07: This is not to make it back about me, but um, this is the second time I'm wearing this.
- 3:24SPEAKER_07: So I got it.
- 3:24SPEAKER_07: What was the first time?
- 3:26SPEAKER_07: Well, I got it for this episode too.
- 3:28SPEAKER_07: But then my boss, I work I'm part-time at um a photo and film stage, and my boss there, it's a husband and wife, uh married couple that own it.
- 3:37SPEAKER_07: They have a daughter, a daughter um who's turning 12 and she loves makeup and drag race.
- 3:42SPEAKER_07: So they asked me to come and drag and do like eight little girls like faces at a sleepover.
- 3:49SPEAKER_07: And I was like, okay, sure.
- 3:51SPEAKER_07: But she likes Ariana Grande, so I was like, Oh, I'll wear a ponytail.
- 3:54SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 3:55SPEAKER_07: But if I wear a ponytail, I have to wear something like voluminous, because if I don't, I have huge man should shoulders.
- 4:00SPEAKER_07: So I was like, okay, let me wear this for that.
- 4:02SPEAKER_07: But now I'm like so excited to actually style it how it was intended.
- 4:06SPEAKER_07: Because I've always, you know, because I have big, big shoulders, I get to wear the flattest hair ever.
- 4:12SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 4:12SPEAKER_07: Which is what you're getting today.
- 4:13SPEAKER_07: It's very episode two.
- 4:14SPEAKER_07: You know what I mean?
- 4:15SPEAKER_07: It's also very wonka too.
- 4:17SPEAKER_07: It's very wonka, it is.
- 4:19SPEAKER_07: But um, don't you feel like it's very like second day of school vibes?
- 4:22SPEAKER_07: Sure.
- 4:23SPEAKER_07: You know, when you like mix it up kind of?
- 4:24SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 4:25SPEAKER_06: I mean, exactly what you mean.
- 4:27SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 4:27SPEAKER_07: I actually think on Stradio Lab they uh talked about this.
- 4:31SPEAKER_07: Did you not?
- 4:32SPEAKER_07: Like second day of school, you know.
- 4:33SPEAKER_06: Don't break the fourth wall, Anche.
- 4:34SPEAKER_06: I know.
- 4:36SPEAKER_07: I know.
- 4:36SPEAKER_07: Spoiler alert spoiler alert.
- 4:37SPEAKER_07: Spoiler alert, there's people in the room with us.
- 4:39SPEAKER_07: You guys were saying second day of school, you try something, but maybe third day of school was like the big shakeup.
- 4:45SPEAKER_07: But I feel like second day of school is when you mix it up and then day three you reel it back in and be like, this is what you're gonna get for the rest of the year.
- 4:51SPEAKER_07: But day two, you can like, you know, yeah, whip out the bob.
- 4:55SPEAKER_07: Definitely whi whip out the wonka bob.
- 4:57SPEAKER_07: Yeah, if you will.
- 4:59SPEAKER_07: Wait, so I did all the little girls' makeup right now.
- 5:02SPEAKER_07: Right, right, right, yeah.
- 5:03SPEAKER_07: And it went well.
- 5:04SPEAKER_07: They all liked it, but then like face number eight, I was getting tired, obviously, because it's a fuck ton of work.
- 5:10SPEAKER_07: Uh because like I'm in dragon.
- 5:13SPEAKER_07: Here's my country's.
- 5:14SPEAKER_07: I like it got into drag, and then the clock started.
- 5:16SPEAKER_07: I was like, oh, now I gotta go do fucking eight faces.
- 5:18SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 5:19SPEAKER_07: But anyways, everyone looked really good.
- 5:20SPEAKER_07: Uh except one girl, as she like walked away.
- 5:22SPEAKER_07: I I heard her friends say, Why do you look possessed?
- 5:26SPEAKER_07: And I looked over and I was like, She does fuck, she looks possessed.
- 5:30SPEAKER_07: It was like my one flower.
- 5:31SPEAKER_06: Like being read by children, but it's but it's honest and true.
- 5:34SPEAKER_07: Honestly, it wasn't fully my fault.
- 5:35SPEAKER_07: I mean, I was tired and yeah, like gave her red demon eyes, but uh she had combination skin, so it just became like this I don't know.
- 5:42SPEAKER_07: Wow.
- 5:43SPEAKER_07: Exorcis four, five.
- 5:45SPEAKER_07: What are we on?
- 5:46SPEAKER_07: But isn't that so funny?
- 5:47SPEAKER_07: Like a 12-year-old being like, Why do you look possessed?
- 5:49SPEAKER_07: And like just to glance back and be like, oh, she does look possessed, like whatever.
- 5:55SPEAKER_07: It happens.
- 5:55SPEAKER_07: So funny.
- 5:56SPEAKER_07: How do you feel about little girls being fans of drag race?
- 5:59SPEAKER_07: Um, it's interesting.
- 6:00SPEAKER_07: I think it's just a product of how it's like so mainstream now, which is, I guess, both a good thing and a bad thing.
- 6:06SPEAKER_07: It's like how do children find drag race?
- 6:08SPEAKER_07: Like just through the internet?
- 6:09SPEAKER_07: New Yorkers.
- 6:10SPEAKER_07: I don't know.
- 6:11SPEAKER_07: They They're at the show, that's the meet and greet.
- 6:13SPEAKER_07: They yeah, they they know to they find TV.
- 6:15SPEAKER_06: They find TV, yeah.
- 6:16SPEAKER_06: They find TV.
- 6:18SPEAKER_06: New York kids find TV.
- 6:19SPEAKER_06: How do you feel about the um the new show goblets?
- 6:23SPEAKER_06: We bought these, they looked amazing online and then they came and it was like they they felt about uh 0.75 scale.
- 6:29SPEAKER_07: Yeah, totally.
- 6:30SPEAKER_07: Like that's the one thing about Amazon.
- 6:31SPEAKER_07: You think you, you know, found a gem and then it's the size of a gem.
- 6:36SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and made of gems.
- 6:37SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 6:38SPEAKER_07: So I'm fine with it.
- 6:39SPEAKER_07: It's just too small.
- 6:40SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 6:41SPEAKER_07: But we're working on it.
- 6:42SPEAKER_07: Uh we're not supposed to talk about the set or the things or something.
- 6:44SPEAKER_06: I love talking about the set.
- 6:45SPEAKER_06: I can't stop talking about the set because also, like in in since we've last recorded, we raised the um chandelier by one chain link, which I think it makes a huge difference, and everyone can tell.
- 6:56SPEAKER_06: Um and we snuck little lights in the city.
- 7:00SPEAKER_06: We did sneak lights in the chandelier, which is like actually why I love set design.
- 7:03SPEAKER_07: Because it's like, hi, just a little why not pop it.
- 7:06SPEAKER_06: No one can see, but there's actually two little lights there, and there's two little lights there.
- 7:09SPEAKER_06: Just popping.
- 7:10SPEAKER_06: Do I look well lit?
- 7:11SPEAKER_06: Do I look at it?
- 7:12SPEAKER_06: I'm like looking at the camera.
- 7:14SPEAKER_06: Um Jesus Christ.
- 7:16SPEAKER_06: We didn't even introduce ourselves.
- 7:17SPEAKER_06: Do we want to introduce?
- 7:18SPEAKER_06: I was thinking that.
- 7:18SPEAKER_06: Like, do we want to do the intro?
- 7:20SPEAKER_07: Um we can do the intro to.
- 7:24SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah, right.
- 7:25SPEAKER_07: She like found someone and yeah.
- 7:26SPEAKER_06: Amanda Bynes has a new podcast, and she her first episode she um just interviewed a a woman that she met at Spirit Halloween.
- 7:33SPEAKER_06: Um, actually sounds genius, but then it's like mental health comes into play, and it's like, that's not good.
- 7:39SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 7:40SPEAKER_06: Andy, poor girl.
- 7:41SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 7:41SPEAKER_07: Get her on the pod.
- 7:42SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 7:42SPEAKER_07: She's she's here.
- 7:43SPEAKER_07: She needs the platform.
- 7:44SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 7:44SPEAKER_06: Um, right.
- 7:45SPEAKER_06: So this is uh the this is the big country couch.
- 7:48SPEAKER_06: Uh I'm your host, Mike Fales.
- 7:51SPEAKER_06: And I'm Angie Balasone, aka That Girl Gina.
- 7:54SPEAKER_06: And this is the how do we we we did that little blurb where we're like, this is the uh the only podcast where we invite queers and peers to sip, bitch, and be fierce on the countiest couch in Brooklyn.
- 8:05SPEAKER_07: Yes, which I said as a joke.
- 8:06SPEAKER_06: I said so But now it's like emblazoned in our tombstone.
- 8:09SPEAKER_07: Yeah, of course.
- 8:10SPEAKER_07: Everything I say accidentally like becomes like the thing.
- 8:12SPEAKER_07: Sorry, you're like humiliating.
- 8:14SPEAKER_07: Because I was like, Sip, bitch, and be fierce is like promo for like, I don't know, some really bad show.
- 8:19SPEAKER_07: What but now it's promo for this really bad show.
- 8:22unknown: Yeah.
- 8:23unknown: So it's perfect.
- 8:24SPEAKER_06: It works.
- 8:24SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 8:25SPEAKER_06: Sip, bitch, and be fierce with us.
- 8:27SPEAKER_06: And as always, um, this is an audio visual podcast.
- 8:31SPEAKER_06: So if you're only listening, you're getting at least less than half the story.
- 8:35SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it's like you're you're quoting Greg Ray's.
- 8:36SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
- 8:37SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 8:37SPEAKER_06: It's the only thing I'm gonna do.
- 8:39SPEAKER_07: Um, but yeah, it's uh um although it is giving interior illusions lounge.
- 8:43SPEAKER_07: We're kind of we we did kind of bring that back accidentally.
- 8:45SPEAKER_07: Thank God, yeah.
- 8:45SPEAKER_07: Someone had to.
- 8:46SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 8:47SPEAKER_07: Well, should we bring on our guests?
- 8:48SPEAKER_07: Let's bring in our guests.
- 8:49SPEAKER_07: Let's do it.
- 8:50SPEAKER_07: Totally queered and pierced.
- 8:53SPEAKER_07: Queersandpiers.com.
- 8:54SPEAKER_06: Please put a nail together.
- 8:56SPEAKER_06: Do we actually intro people?
- 8:57SPEAKER_06: We just have them come in.
- 8:58SPEAKER_07: Well, we can I don't even have the microphone set up, so I just wanted to say put a nail together, but you took that away from me.
- 9:10unknown: Yeah.
- 9:11SPEAKER_06: Okay, well, uh, please welcome to the pod, George Severis and Richard Perez.
- 9:18SPEAKER_07: How are you guys doing?
- 9:19SPEAKER_07: Well, we're pretty good.
- 9:22SPEAKER_07: I'm loving this, you guys.
- 9:24SPEAKER_07: How long did you work on this bit?
- 9:26SPEAKER_07: For a really long time.
- 9:29SPEAKER_07: I'm getting embarrassed.
- 9:31SPEAKER_07: Something's happening.
- 9:32SPEAKER_07: Oh, come on.
- 9:34SPEAKER_07: That's not fun.
- 9:36SPEAKER_07: We're shutting down.
- 9:38SPEAKER_07: Anyways, we were just talking about what George was wearing.
- 9:41SPEAKER_07: So I have to say, who are you wearing and what is your problem?
- 9:44SPEAKER_04: That is such a great.
- 9:45SPEAKER_04: Don't you think that's such a good opening question for a show like this?
- 9:48SPEAKER_04: Yes, it's perfect.
- 9:49SPEAKER_04: Wait, wait, who are you wearing?
- 9:50SPEAKER_04: What's your problem?
- 9:50SPEAKER_04: Who are you wearing and one again?
- 9:51SPEAKER_04: What is your problem?
- 9:52SPEAKER_04: And do you want people to respond earnestly or absolutely I'm I've been trying to, I'm on I'm a real bargain hunter lately, and I'm trying to believe it.
- 10:04SPEAKER_04: Well, you know, I'm very wealthy, but I donate most of the money to charity.
- 10:08SPEAKER_04: Sure, true.
- 10:08SPEAKER_04: So reflect for me and my fashions is very little.
- 10:11SPEAKER_04: True.
- 10:12SPEAKER_07: But uh you're saying everything is homemade.
- 10:15SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 10:16SPEAKER_04: Well, I sewed all of this myself.
- 10:18SPEAKER_04: I love that.
- 10:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and you can't see the ship.
- 10:20SPEAKER_04: I'm sitting in a way where you can't tell, but actually the whole back is a mess.
- 10:26SPEAKER_03: It's a failure.
- 10:28SPEAKER_04: I had to have Richard sew me into it.
- 10:30SPEAKER_04: Easy to talk about an open back when you know I'm stuffed in this and busting out.
- 10:34SPEAKER_07: But please no one needed to know that.
- 10:36SPEAKER_04: So yeah, every I'm I was just telling Mike, I'm wearing all designer, and but it's all clearance.
- 10:41SPEAKER_04: Can you like say the name series?
- 10:43SPEAKER_04: This is Chrome de Garcon.
- 10:45SPEAKER_04: And this is a Margaret Howell sweater.
- 10:46SPEAKER_04: Oh my gosh.
- 10:47SPEAKER_04: Obscure.
- 10:48SPEAKER_04: And these are not designer.
- 10:50SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 10:50SPEAKER_04: Well, well, take them off.
- 10:51SPEAKER_04: If we can get if we can get the um the t-shirt called again, the T-back thong?
- 10:55SPEAKER_04: The Bluntstone camp.
- 10:56SPEAKER_04: The Blonde Stone cam.
- 10:58SPEAKER_07: Oh my god.
- 10:59SPEAKER_07: But you were saying you wish you wore something maybe a little more fierce, but I didn't give it a off-cam, right?
- 11:06SPEAKER_07: And necessarily want it to be repeated, but yeah.
- 11:08SPEAKER_07: Well, I didn't give them any prompt like to wear anything.
- 11:11SPEAKER_07: And why did you not do that?
- 11:12SPEAKER_07: I don't know, because it embarrasses me a little bit.
- 11:14SPEAKER_07: Well, I think we're in a similar usual thing that like embarrasses me.
- 11:21SPEAKER_07: Which is what?
- 11:22SPEAKER_07: Or just like wear something, I don't know, turn a look and da da da da.
- 11:24SPEAKER_06: I didn't say that specifically this time.
- 11:26SPEAKER_06: Yeah, but I did say that you were gonna.
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: You did say something like Humiliating?
- 11:30SPEAKER_02: Something like, oh like do a look.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, something like that.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: Do a look with it.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:35SPEAKER_04: Do look like do a leap.
- 11:37SPEAKER_04: You know, you maybe 90,000 do a leap.
- 11:39SPEAKER_04: You maybe did tell me to give a I don't remember if I was told to do a look.
- 11:42SPEAKER_04: Or something, and I was like, I didn't like yes.
- 11:44SPEAKER_04: Well, you know, I'm trying to go for quiet luxury, as I was saying.
- 11:47SPEAKER_04: And I am I am too.
- 11:49SPEAKER_04: And so is Richard.
- 11:50SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 11:50SPEAKER_07: You both ate a ton.
- 11:52SPEAKER_07: We ate food joke.
- 11:54SPEAKER_07: Oh.
- 11:59SPEAKER_07: I guess just ate.
- 12:00SPEAKER_07: You just ate a ton.
- 12:02SPEAKER_04: Richard has so many sweater vests, which I have been wanting to be a sweater vest person for so long.
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: But the thing is, I only own like three.
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: But I think that's more than the average person.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: I guess so, yeah.
- 12:15SPEAKER_07: Those are cool.
- 12:16SPEAKER_02: I love sweat.
- 12:17SPEAKER_02: Sweater vests, right?
- 12:18SPEAKER_07: They're having like a moment.
- 12:18SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 12:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:20SPEAKER_07: Do you ever go just sweater vest, no shirt underneath?
- 12:22SPEAKER_07: Oh you should.
- 12:23SPEAKER_07: Are you considering it?
- 12:24SPEAKER_07: Maybe.
- 12:25SPEAKER_07: What's stopping you?
- 12:26SPEAKER_04: Um don't answer that.
- 12:27SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 12:28SPEAKER_06: Hold on, but what do you who are you ringing and what is your problem?
- 12:30SPEAKER_06: Because maybe we can get into it.
- 12:31SPEAKER_06: What about it?
- 12:31SPEAKER_06: Yeah, what's George's purpose?
- 12:33SPEAKER_04: We're still in George's.
- 12:34SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 12:34SPEAKER_04: Um, oh God.
- 12:35SPEAKER_04: Uh what is my problem?
- 12:38SPEAKER_04: You know, I'll tell you this.
- 12:40SPEAKER_07: It can be as small as a colored nail.
- 12:42SPEAKER_04: Well, I I I just I'm trying to be topical because I know this is not coming out now.
- 12:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 12:47SPEAKER_04: But I will be absolutely honest, my problem right now is that I don't have New Year's plans, and it is like a week away.
- 12:53SPEAKER_06: Yeah, actually.
- 12:54SPEAKER_06: It really crept up on me specifically this year.
- 12:57SPEAKER_06: It's been insane.
- 12:57SPEAKER_06: I can't believe that Christmas is.
- 12:58SPEAKER_07: I know, and there's so much pressure.
- 13:00SPEAKER_07: I'm just saying that um, Merry Christmas, by the way.
- 13:02SPEAKER_07: It's Christmas.
- 13:04SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone else.
- 13:05SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
- 13:06SPEAKER_04: Um but I keep asking everyone what everyone else is doing, and everyone is also depressed about not having plans, but no one is stepping up.
- 13:13SPEAKER_04: No.
- 13:14SPEAKER_07: It sucks.
- 13:14SPEAKER_07: And I feel like if you don't have cool New Year's plans or Fourth of July plans, you're a huge loser.
- 13:20SPEAKER_06: And you should be planning for Fourth of July now.
- 13:22SPEAKER_06: That's what everyone fails to remember.
- 13:24SPEAKER_06: Oh, did you guys not get your reservations?
- 13:26SPEAKER_05: We've we've reserved our tankinis.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: I want to go to a house party.
- 13:33SPEAKER_02: Same for New Year's.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: And by the way, can I just say this?
- 13:36SPEAKER_04: I had a very big holiday party this year.
- 13:38SPEAKER_04: Yes, you did.
- 13:38SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, is anyone gonna return the end of it?
- 13:40SPEAKER_04: It's about to be New Year's.
- 13:41SPEAKER_04: You did.
- 13:42SPEAKER_04: That was a smash hit.
- 13:43SPEAKER_02: That was a lot of people there.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was a lot of good turnout.
- 13:47SPEAKER_04: Too many, I would say.
- 13:48SPEAKER_07: I would almost say the same.
- 13:51SPEAKER_07: Actually, this is well, not to jump around, I was gonna say This brings up a new segment I wanted to try.
- 13:56SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 13:57SPEAKER_07: Called P of the Wee, which is like your pet peeve of the week.
- 14:00SPEAKER_07: And I was going to say, just because you talked about your party, and I was gonna say, my P of the Wii is I hate when people have dinner parties and they force you to take your shoes off.
- 14:10SPEAKER_07: You can have a shoes-off household, absolutely, but when you have a big ass party.
- 14:15SPEAKER_07: Choosing to have a party, ask me to take my shoes off.
- 14:19SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 14:20SPEAKER_07: Because also it's like you're gonna be cleaning anyway.
- 14:22SPEAKER_07: So you can't just hit the floor once.
- 14:24SPEAKER_07: Like no one's asking you to host this.
- 14:25SPEAKER_07: And second of all, like, yeah, okay, you might need to push a Swiffer.
- 14:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 14:29SPEAKER_07: Yeah, oh yeah, just mop.
- 14:30SPEAKER_07: Just mop.
- 14:31SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 14:31SPEAKER_04: And by the way, were you not gonna mop if I if people were shoeless?
- 14:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 14:35SPEAKER_07: It's crazy.
- 14:36SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 14:36SPEAKER_04: It sucks.
- 14:37SPEAKER_04: It makes no difference too.
- 14:39SPEAKER_07: But I mean, unless unless you have a cry.
- 14:42SPEAKER_07: No, we would never go.
- 14:43SPEAKER_07: We would never go shoes off.
- 14:44SPEAKER_07: No, but I do think so side-eyed.
- 14:46SPEAKER_04: I mean, it was so hot that it was fully uncomfortable.
- 14:49SPEAKER_04: It was like shirts off.
- 14:50SPEAKER_04: Shirts off.
- 14:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 14:51SPEAKER_04: It's just, you know, you think a Christmas party or holiday party, excuse me.
- 14:56SPEAKER_04: Fuck you.
- 14:56SPEAKER_04: I know that the DNC has less than air.
- 14:59SPEAKER_07: But it's Christmas Eve, though.
- 15:00SPEAKER_04: It's Christmas Eve.
- 15:01SPEAKER_04: So Merry Christmas.
- 15:02SPEAKER_04: Merry Christmas.
- 15:02SPEAKER_04: Merry Christmas.
- 15:04SPEAKER_04: It is an unseasonably hot.
- 15:06SPEAKER_04: So you would think, okay, yes, it's a hot party, but I can at least go to the window and air out.
- 15:10SPEAKER_04: Not the case.
- 15:10SPEAKER_04: We were blasting the AC out.
- 15:12SPEAKER_06: Yeah, the AC was out.
- 15:13SPEAKER_02: I kept my jacket on for a little too long.
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: I had a trench coat on.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: And people were dragging you for that.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: Everyone was like, take it off.
- 15:19SPEAKER_06: I thought you looked nice.
- 15:20SPEAKER_06: I don't everyone was making fun of you over and over behind your face.
- 15:24SPEAKER_02: No one was saying you didn't look nice to be clear.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: No, no, no.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: Everyone was like, take that off.
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: It is hot in here.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: And I was like drenched in swag.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: You kind of were getting bullied a little.
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: It was crazy that you were getting dragged.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: I stand, I stood my ground.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: Eventually I took it off.
- 15:37SPEAKER_07: And like, did it Richard shit his pants?
- 15:39SPEAKER_07: Or like what?
- 15:40SPEAKER_07: For a second I didn't wonder.
- 15:41SPEAKER_07: I was like, what are you hide?
- 15:42SPEAKER_07: What's going on?
- 15:43SPEAKER_07: Maybe I won't push it.
- 15:44SPEAKER_07: You know.
- 15:44SPEAKER_07: I forgot.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: I forgot.
- 15:45SPEAKER_07: But it was just fair stance.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: That's there was something I was like.
- 15:48SPEAKER_04: Oh, you didn't Oh, there was a reason.
- 15:49SPEAKER_04: You didn't want some people to see what you're doing.
- 15:51SPEAKER_02: I think I was like, I don't know if like I can pull off.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, I had like a sweater vest on, one that I don't normally wear.
- 15:58SPEAKER_02: That's a little bit tighter with a t-shirt under it.
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: And I was like, I don't know.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: I like that look though.
- 16:04SPEAKER_02: But then like I took it, I was like, oh, it's fine.
- 16:06SPEAKER_04: I have to say this is a pattern with Richard in my holiday party where um I think you last year as well, there was one thing you did that sort of made you go a little crazy, which is when you brought candy and decided not to give it to me.
- 16:19SPEAKER_04: Richard showed up with candy as a gift, but then decided at right when he entered, he was like, Oh, that was stupid.
- 16:26SPEAKER_04: Why did I do that?
- 16:27SPEAKER_04: And then he just never gave it to me.
- 16:29unknown: Oh my god.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: What kind of candy?
- 16:31SPEAKER_02: It was like um because that does change everything, to be honest.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: The candy was uh there's those ones that are like has that sort of like souriness, but it's wrapped in like a thing, and there's like a gushy in the middle.
- 16:45SPEAKER_06: Oh, like a nerd's rope type situation?
- 16:50SPEAKER_02: He brought bacon-wrapped dates.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: Literally, they were bacon-wrapped.
- 16:55SPEAKER_02: They had that sort of relationship.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: It was like imagine a sour straw wrapping itself around something gooeyish.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
- 17:03SPEAKER_02: Oh, I could see that.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: That kind of thing.
- 17:05SPEAKER_07: I forget the name of the brand, but came out with a line of like robes.
- 17:10SPEAKER_07: Sure.
- 17:11SPEAKER_07: Everyone's trying to line come out with a line of robes.
- 17:13SPEAKER_02: So it was like something like that, and then like I had it in my pocket, and I show up to the party.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: I'm in a beautiful apartment.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: I see that it's like an adult party.
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: And I was like, oh, I'm not sophisticated enough.
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: And I was like, if I bring this out in front of like George, George's friends, or you know, like Matthew's friends too.
- 17:35SPEAKER_02: I was like, they're gonna be like, what the fuck?
- 17:37SPEAKER_04: You know what's so funny?
- 17:38SPEAKER_04: Actually, the one of the top things I remember from last year's party was that someone brought, um, god, what are they called?
- 17:46SPEAKER_04: It's like New Orleans style, you know, those chips that are like voodoo style.
- 17:50SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah.
- 17:50SPEAKER_04: Okay, so someone brought, I didn't even know that this they had this voodoo style pretzels.
- 17:55SPEAKER_04: Whoa.
- 17:56SPEAKER_04: And it was like one of the best things I've ever tasted in my life.
- 17:58SPEAKER_04: And I then when I tasted them, I realized how good they were, hid them from everyone else, and then I had them to snack on for the next two weeks.
- 18:05SPEAKER_04: So it's funny that you thought your gift was not sophisticated enough.
- 18:08SPEAKER_04: And truly, to this day, I'm like, thank God my friend Joe brought voodoo style pretzels, which is yeah, I would say, no offense to either of you, equally sophisticated as a sort of sugar straw wrapped sour patch kit.
- 18:21SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 18:22SPEAKER_07: I love you throwing them out or like not gifting.
- 18:24SPEAKER_07: That's so funny.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: I just kept them in my pocket and I was like, it's like a tray of like tuxedo dip strawberry.
- 18:29unknown: Stupid.
- 18:30SPEAKER_04: You're trying to flush them down the toilet.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I walk in.
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 18:42SPEAKER_03: Stupid, lock the toilet.
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: It's dumb candy.
- 18:50SPEAKER_03: It's not tough candy, okay?
- 18:52SPEAKER_03: I can't get out.
- 18:55SPEAKER_03: Like, I don't belong here.
- 18:57SPEAKER_07: Wow, flushing strawberries.
- 18:59SPEAKER_07: That would kind of look bloody, I would imagine.
- 19:00SPEAKER_06: So that's yeah, a scary, scary.
- 19:02SPEAKER_06: I love the pivot though.
- 19:03SPEAKER_06: I think your mistake was talking about it.
- 19:04SPEAKER_06: That's the thing.
- 19:05SPEAKER_06: If you'd just been like, just never pulled the candy out, then no one would have known.
- 19:08SPEAKER_06: And it would have been like maybe the right move, but you just made the right thing.
- 19:12SPEAKER_04: Everyone would have been so Can you imagine how exciting it is to be at a party where everyone's bringing, like, you know, no offense to everyone that was there, but everyone's bringing like a$10 bottle of wine.
- 19:21SPEAKER_04: Everyone wants a little bag of candy.
- 19:22SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like a little bit pick me up.
- 19:25SPEAKER_07: Own it next time.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: I know, but I because I learned this from my friends, Charlie and Natalie.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: Like, they bring candy.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: It's like when we hang out or something, we're going to someone's house, they always bring candy.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, oh, that's such a good.
- 19:39SPEAKER_02: So I was like, Yeah, let me wear it on.
- 19:41SPEAKER_02: I'm like, let me try it for a little bit.
- 19:42SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 19:42SPEAKER_02: I want to George's house.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna try it for myself.
- 19:45SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna try it for size and see what happens.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: And then I shut up and I was like, You got a plush yet.
- 19:51SPEAKER_04: I'm realizing what the issue was, maybe.
- 19:53SPEAKER_04: You were not, I wasn't being honest.
- 19:55SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 19:59SPEAKER_06: Yeah, and she brought a bottle of wine that was pure piss.
- 20:02SPEAKER_07: And she's like, Does anyone have anything sweet?
- 20:04SPEAKER_07: Any candy?
- 20:06unknown: Yeah.
- 20:07SPEAKER_04: But I think you were you were doing something you'd seen someone else do.
- 20:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 20:10SPEAKER_04: So maybe you thought you weren't being authentically, unapologetically you.
- 20:14SPEAKER_02: But the th what you have to learn from this is that uh you have to be wait, be who be yourself because everyone else is taken.
- 20:24SPEAKER_07: Oh wow.
- 20:26SPEAKER_04: You came up with yourself because everyone else is taken.
- 20:30SPEAKER_04: That's from Wonka.
- 20:32SPEAKER_04: Be yourself.
- 20:32SPEAKER_04: You read for the part?
- 20:33SPEAKER_04: Because everyone else is taken.
- 20:35SPEAKER_04: Richard actually plays Wonka.
- 20:38SPEAKER_04: They just then went in post and made him look like Timothy Shallon, eh?
- 20:42SPEAKER_04: That's Wonka.
- 20:46SPEAKER_02: Well, we've got chocolate candy.
- 20:48SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm stupid.
- 20:48SPEAKER_02: Don't know it's gonna be.
- 20:50SPEAKER_02: I know it's weird.
- 20:51SPEAKER_06: Oh my god.
- 20:53SPEAKER_06: If you had the opportunity to audition for Wonka, would you take it?
- 20:55SPEAKER_06: You're like, there's like this is gonna be a big 10 pole.
- 20:59SPEAKER_06: If I had the opportunity to play him, yes.
- 21:01SPEAKER_06: Well, that's what I said.
- 21:01SPEAKER_06: If you have the audition, the opportunity to audition, it's a you knew it's gonna be a big 10 pull.
- 21:05SPEAKER_06: It's gonna be a read for roles anymore.
- 21:07SPEAKER_06: It's author only for joining.
- 21:09SPEAKER_04: I'm just laughing because you're like, it's is presented as this big choice, but it I wouldn't get the like, yeah, if I have to audit it, I would audition.
- 21:16SPEAKER_04: Why are they inviting you though?
- 21:18SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
- 21:18SPEAKER_04: It's like it was invite only and they asked.
- 21:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's not open call.
- 21:21SPEAKER_04: It's not open call.
- 21:22SPEAKER_04: Okay, you're right, you're right.
- 21:23SPEAKER_07: Your agent was like, hey, we have this crazy opportunity.
- 21:25SPEAKER_07: I don't know if you're gonna get into it.
- 21:26SPEAKER_07: Well, you're saying because like it's a big block seriously.
- 21:28SPEAKER_07: But that's what you're saying.
- 21:29SPEAKER_07: It's like if you had the opportunity to self-tape, exactly.
- 21:32SPEAKER_04: Well, to be honest, take a side, Ant.
- 21:34SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 21:34SPEAKER_04: Ultimately, the answer is just walk off the I think the answer is no, because I knew I wouldn't get it, and so why would I memorize lines?
- 21:43SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't need it.
- 21:44SPEAKER_07: Okay, well, would you take the par if if you if it was offered to me?
- 21:48SPEAKER_07: That's a better question.
- 21:50SPEAKER_04: If our own, okay.
- 21:53SPEAKER_06: Like, and you're writing that damn deal, sign.
- 21:56SPEAKER_06: I don't know if you're working on a sequel.
- 21:58SPEAKER_04: So if Timothy is Busy doing Dune 3.5 or whatever.
- 22:03SPEAKER_07: Timothy.
- 22:03SPEAKER_07: Isn't that like what it's supposed to be?
- 22:04SPEAKER_07: I think it's Tim Timothy.
- 22:05SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 22:05SPEAKER_07: Oh, I don't know.
- 22:06SPEAKER_04: I sort of like saying Timothy.
- 22:08SPEAKER_04: Timothy.
- 22:08SPEAKER_04: Because he's American.
- 22:09SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 22:09SPEAKER_04: I almost like I'm making it.
- 22:11SPEAKER_04: I thought it was like Timothy.
- 22:13SPEAKER_04: Timothy.
- 22:13SPEAKER_04: Timmy the Tooth.
- 22:14SPEAKER_04: I call him Timothy.
- 22:15SPEAKER_07: He's tall.
- 22:15SPEAKER_07: Timmy the Tooth.
- 22:16SPEAKER_07: That was sort of um, not to talk about the big comfy couch, which is like a reference kind of.
- 22:22SPEAKER_07: Or one second for the name.
- 22:23SPEAKER_07: But Timmy the Tooth.
- 22:24SPEAKER_07: Remember that show?
- 22:25SPEAKER_07: I feel like that was around the tooth.
- 22:26SPEAKER_07: Wow.
- 22:27SPEAKER_07: Oh my god, it was about like a tooth.
- 22:28SPEAKER_07: Was it about like human artistry?
- 22:30SPEAKER_06: Like, was it about like tooth health?
- 22:32SPEAKER_06: Or was it just about like a tooth on adventures?
- 22:34SPEAKER_06: Is this like a cartoon?
- 22:36SPEAKER_07: I think it was a puppet, unfortunately.
- 22:38SPEAKER_07: Is it the same universe as comfy?
- 22:40SPEAKER_07: Comfy.
- 22:40SPEAKER_07: It was the same universe as comfy.
- 22:41SPEAKER_07: Like she used to bust it open.
- 22:45SPEAKER_07: Do you guys remember that show?
- 22:46SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 22:47SPEAKER_07: She would tell time with like pushes.
- 22:48SPEAKER_07: She was a pushy out.
- 22:49SPEAKER_07: She was playing with her pusay out, which is like incredible.
- 22:52SPEAKER_06: She's teaching the children.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:54SPEAKER_06: Richard, what was your problem?
- 22:56SPEAKER_06: Well, also, who are you wearing?
- 22:57SPEAKER_06: Who are you wearing?
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: I'm wearing, um, I am wearing um these shoes are Drees.
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: Um, these socks are Coco Chanel.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Coco.
- 23:09SPEAKER_02: The jeans are Jill Sander.
- 23:11SPEAKER_02: Oh wow.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: Um, my sweater vest is Rick Owens.
- 23:15SPEAKER_02: Love it.
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: And this shirt is from Old Navy.
- 23:19SPEAKER_07: I love that.
- 23:20SPEAKER_07: We love like that.
- 23:20SPEAKER_07: High Love this.
- 23:22SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I'm quiet luxury.
- 23:23SPEAKER_07: Yeah, in New York, you have to do it.
- 23:24SPEAKER_02: Quiet luxury, loud, loud, not luxury.
- 23:28SPEAKER_04: Quiet luxury, a loud fagot.
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: Indeed, uh.
- 23:35SPEAKER_02: F-word.
- 23:36SPEAKER_02: Uh and what's your um problem?
- 23:38SPEAKER_02: My problem.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: My problem is that uh I this is just the first thing that came to mind.
- 23:46SPEAKER_02: Um my voice is a little bit tired.
- 23:52SPEAKER_06: I didn't want to say anything.
- 23:53SPEAKER_02: You you can pick it up, you can hear it.
- 23:55SPEAKER_02: Because I've been doing that Marge Simpson impression and I've been singing a lot, screaming, doing things like that.
- 24:01SPEAKER_02: You did all of vodka and they had you do that voice.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've been doing it.
- 24:04SPEAKER_02: Only for them to dub it over with Timothy's voice.
- 24:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:08SPEAKER_02: So I just I just feel uh when that happens, I get a little like anxious.
- 24:14SPEAKER_07: You have a show tonight?
- 24:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:16SPEAKER_02: Right after this.
- 24:17SPEAKER_06: Do you have like a like a vocal warm-up routine?
- 24:19SPEAKER_02: Anything to there explodes like Yeah, I don't.
- 24:33SPEAKER_02: I I just like talk.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: I'm in the green room like talking.
- 24:37SPEAKER_04: Oh, just talk normal.
- 24:38SPEAKER_04: Yeah, or I'm like doing little.
- 24:39SPEAKER_04: I thought you meant your warm-up was just talking like to the mirror by yourself.
- 24:42SPEAKER_04: That too.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: That at home, and then I'm quiet on the commute, and then in the green room on the back to the mirror.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: So that that's my problem at the moment.
- 24:56SPEAKER_06: It sounded it's it doesn't sound bad.
- 24:58SPEAKER_06: It's sound you know, uh a little rasp can be sexy.
- 25:01SPEAKER_07: So it's working.
- 25:03SPEAKER_07: Not to heart, but I can't remember George's problem now.
- 25:05SPEAKER_02: New Year's.
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's right, that's right.
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: Mine's a little more like isolating.
- 25:11SPEAKER_02: And mine is like, yeah.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: Have you ever had your voice taken?
- 25:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 25:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 25:16SPEAKER_02: I've ever lost people.
- 25:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 25:19SPEAKER_03: It's called 2015.
- 25:20SPEAKER_06: When we went to LA for like our first big round of LA meetings back a hundred years ago, I like got off the plane and instantly lost my voice.
- 25:27SPEAKER_06: So it was like our first big round of generals.
- 25:29SPEAKER_02: Sad.
- 25:30SPEAKER_02: You're like, hey, I'm mine.
- 25:31SPEAKER_02: You lost your voice?
- 25:32SPEAKER_07: Yeah, remember?
- 25:32SPEAKER_07: It's crazy.
- 25:33SPEAKER_07: Because I do I I remember a huge screaming fight to be honest.
- 25:36SPEAKER_07: That was um part of it too.
- 25:37SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 25:38SPEAKER_07: You did have a huge screaming fight.
- 25:39SPEAKER_07: I did, of course.
- 25:40SPEAKER_07: You know what generals do to you.
- 25:43SPEAKER_07: They just They tear you apart.
- 25:45SPEAKER_07: They do.
- 25:45SPEAKER_07: They bring the worst out of you.
- 25:47SPEAKER_04: Did you grow up in a family where people raise their voice?
- 25:48SPEAKER_04: No.
- 25:49SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 25:49SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 25:50SPEAKER_04: Me too.
- 25:50SPEAKER_04: In a big way.
- 25:52SPEAKER_04: Not sorry, I don't mean that in like a is he okay?
- 25:55SPEAKER_04: I mean just like that was sort of the default volume.
- 25:57SPEAKER_04: Totally.
- 25:58SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 25:58SPEAKER_04: Well you're Greek.
- 25:59SPEAKER_04: But we also were not okay.
- 26:00SPEAKER_07: Adjacent to Italian.
- 26:02SPEAKER_07: Did your family swear?
- 26:03SPEAKER_07: Did your families swear?
- 26:05SPEAKER_04: I just was looking at you, so you would also say your thing.
- 26:07SPEAKER_04: We we were not okay.
- 26:08SPEAKER_04: We were not.
- 26:09SPEAKER_07: We went first.
- 26:09SPEAKER_07: You look in the game.
- 26:11SPEAKER_02: I was we were not okay where where I grew up.
- 26:14SPEAKER_04: So with and and you're um Norwegian?
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: No, I'm from New Jersey.
- 26:20SPEAKER_04: I nor something.
- 26:22SPEAKER_02: I'm North.
- 26:24SPEAKER_02: North Jersey.
- 26:26SPEAKER_02: Where did I where's my family from?
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: What are you asking?
- 26:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm Norwegian.
- 26:30SPEAKER_02: What's my problem?
- 26:31SPEAKER_02: I'm confused.
- 26:31SPEAKER_02: Me too.
- 26:34SPEAKER_02: George!
- 26:35SPEAKER_08: George!
- 26:37SPEAKER_04: If you had just given me that candy, none of this would be happening.
- 26:40SPEAKER_07: Oh my god, it's true.
- 26:43SPEAKER_07: Next time you bring a bad gift or something, nowadays you can just pretend it's ironic.
- 26:46SPEAKER_02: I secretly have gifts I wanted to bring here and I'm not sharing.
- 26:49unknown: No!
- 26:50SPEAKER_02: Well, us too.
- 26:51SPEAKER_07: Everyone look under their cushions.
- 26:53SPEAKER_07: Under your couch! Oh my god.
- 26:57SPEAKER_07: Right?
- 26:58SPEAKER_07: If you say something embarrassing or bring something embarrassing, you just say it's an ironic.
- 27:01SPEAKER_07: And then it's like, oh, you should own it.
- 27:03SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 27:03SPEAKER_07: Own it or yeah.
- 27:04SPEAKER_04: Or this is what you're saying.
- 27:06SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: I think now I would do it.
- 27:08SPEAKER_04: No, just be like, I found this on the ground.
- 27:10SPEAKER_04: And also, like, I didn't know you were literal trash.
- 27:13SPEAKER_04: You did not know me.
- 27:14SPEAKER_04: We didn't know each other as well.
- 27:16SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 27:16SPEAKER_04: I would say, in fact, it was like a big I was like, oh, I'm so excited I'm inviting Richard to my party because I'll get to know him even more.
- 27:23SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 27:23SPEAKER_04: And mission accomplished.
- 27:25SPEAKER_03: And now you're here.
- 27:26SPEAKER_04: And now we're here as get as a comedy duo.
- 27:28SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 27:29SPEAKER_03: Literally.
- 27:30SPEAKER_04: Yes, we are.
- 27:30SPEAKER_04: Oh shit.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: And I'm so excited about that.
- 27:36SPEAKER_02: That.
- 27:37SPEAKER_07: Did we try to do something in sync?
- 27:43SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 27:43SPEAKER_07: Now they're making fun of my people.
- 27:45SPEAKER_07: Maybe George wants a cock.
- 27:46SPEAKER_07: Well, we can't A cock?
- 27:48SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 27:48SPEAKER_05: Do you want a cock?
- 27:51SPEAKER_07: Now is the part where we blow everyone.
- 27:54SPEAKER_07: No.
- 27:57SPEAKER_07: You know the part where we blow up everyone.
- 27:59SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that's our thing.
- 28:00SPEAKER_04: I mean, can I actually respond to that a little bit?
- 28:04SPEAKER_04: Yeah, please do.
- 28:05SPEAKER_04: Specifically.
- 28:07SPEAKER_04: I don't know if this will divide the room.
- 28:09SPEAKER_04: When you were like, and that's the part where we blow everyone.
- 28:11SPEAKER_04: I'm like, I'm always.
- 28:13SPEAKER_04: I feel like sex should have more comedy.
- 28:16SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 28:16SPEAKER_04: I actually think it's like funny when you're having sex to like make a little joke, or like, let's say you stumble a bit, be like, oh here I go.
- 28:23SPEAKER_04: You know, make some joke.
- 28:24SPEAKER_04: And I actually think even among people who are otherwise funny, sometimes people don't want to have a sense of humor while having sex.
- 28:33SPEAKER_04: So which comedians are you hooking up with?
- 28:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:37SPEAKER_04: No, I hear you though, because I feel like I hold it.
- 28:40SPEAKER_04: Well, the way you set me up for a joke and I had nothing.
- 28:43SPEAKER_04: Could have mentioned anyone.
- 28:44SPEAKER_04: Let me take that again.
- 28:46SPEAKER_04: Whitney Cummings.
- 28:48SPEAKER_06: She's real serious in bed.
- 28:50SPEAKER_06: Um well, do you think maybe I could imagine people who are funny might separate that part of themselves from sex?
- 29:00SPEAKER_06: However, I do think a little bit of laughter in the sheets goes a long way, you know?
- 29:05SPEAKER_07: There's a it's a balance.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: Like a little little.
- 29:08SPEAKER_07: Just a little one little wow.
- 29:11SPEAKER_02: I don't mind.
- 29:12SPEAKER_02: I'm just kidding.
- 29:14SPEAKER_07: I hold back.
- 29:15SPEAKER_04: I agree with you because like my instinct is to make little like because I the few times that I have attempted to be comedy queen in bed, it has not been received well.
- 29:24SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I guess it's kind of like a board pillar, maybe to a lot of people, but not to me.
- 29:28SPEAKER_07: So we're just finding those people.
- 29:34SPEAKER_06: Angela and I are hooking up right here.
- 29:36SPEAKER_06: We are P of the Wii.
- 29:39SPEAKER_06: P of the Wii.
- 29:40SPEAKER_06: You're just like slowly, like gently making ad Richard Nair like that.
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: So my family fought a lot growing up.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: A lot of like wall shaking.
- 29:49SPEAKER_08: Transfer proof.
- 29:50SPEAKER_04: Transfer proof.
- 29:52SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
- 29:55SPEAKER_04: See, what we're doing now, that's my dream next scene.
- 30:00SPEAKER_06: Well Okay, let's let's take a break.
- 30:01SPEAKER_06: Let's take a break.
- 30:02SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 30:03SPEAKER_06: And break.
- 30:14SPEAKER_07: We barbecued his head.
- 30:17SPEAKER_04: Okay, not just that, but those are the lyrics I think of when I hear Joy to the World.
- 30:22SPEAKER_04: Joy to the World.
- 30:22SPEAKER_04: Barbecued his head.
- 30:23SPEAKER_04: Barney's dead, we barbecued his head.
- 30:25SPEAKER_04: Wait, that wasn't from Barney.
- 30:27SPEAKER_04: What happened to his body?
- 30:28SPEAKER_04: We flushed it down the potty and around and around it goes.
- 30:32SPEAKER_04: Wow.
- 30:32SPEAKER_04: Was this not particularly?
- 30:33SPEAKER_06: I'm remembering this.
- 30:34SPEAKER_06: No, I remember I remember barbecued his head.
- 30:37SPEAKER_06: I love barbecued his head.
- 30:39SPEAKER_07: I hate the rest of the song, but like, we bomb cute his head.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: So like okay.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: Indelible in the head.
- 30:48SPEAKER_04: Indelible in the head.
- 30:49SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's stuck.
- 30:50SPEAKER_04: We're recording.
- 30:50SPEAKER_04: We're recording.
- 30:50SPEAKER_04: Oh, we're recording.
- 30:51SPEAKER_04: We're back.
- 30:52SPEAKER_07: We're back.
- 30:54SPEAKER_07: So I was saying, we were saying I would have uh sang barbecued his head off camera.
- 30:59SPEAKER_07: No.
- 31:00SPEAKER_04: I actually have a question for you.
- 31:01SPEAKER_04: You introduce yourself as you're out of drag name.
- 31:03SPEAKER_04: How would you prefer to be referred to?
- 31:05SPEAKER_07: It doesn't matter.
- 31:06SPEAKER_07: So Ange Balison or Gina, that girl Gina.
- 31:09SPEAKER_07: I've always had a million last names, so now I'm just going as that girl Gina because it's like simple and I feel like not embarrassed by it.
- 31:15SPEAKER_07: But like that was the thing.
- 31:16SPEAKER_07: I'd come up with these things and be like just embarrassed saying it.
- 31:18SPEAKER_07: So that girl Gina, because like I am that girl.
- 31:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that girl, Gina.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 31:23SPEAKER_07: And my cousin Lori from Rhode Island, her, she's a stripper.
- 31:27SPEAKER_07: Hi Lori.
- 31:28SPEAKER_07: Hi Lori.
- 31:29SPEAKER_07: Um her handle is That Girl Me, which I think is like so funny.
- 31:32SPEAKER_04: Well, I didn't want to bring it up, but I know That Girl Me.
- 31:35SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 31:36SPEAKER_04: Well, we've talked, I've known about That Girl Me for at this point probably seven years.
- 31:40SPEAKER_04: Wow, okay.
- 31:40SPEAKER_04: I mean, to be clear, through Anne.
- 31:42SPEAKER_04: I'm not interested in the case.
- 31:43SPEAKER_06: I'm going to the Foxy Lady and I'm giving her ones.
- 31:46SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 31:46SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 31:46SPEAKER_06: Oh, yeah.
- 31:47SPEAKER_07: She's my favorite base chapter.
- 31:49SPEAKER_07: She is like the mother hen at the Foxy Lady in Providence.
- 31:52SPEAKER_07: So yeah, there's that girl me, so there's that girl Gina.
- 31:56SPEAKER_07: And I got my first name from my other cousin, named Gina.
- 31:58SPEAKER_07: Name Gina.
- 31:59SPEAKER_07: It's like a combo.
- 32:00SPEAKER_07: Keep it like family.
- 32:02SPEAKER_07: Yeah, so it's meaningful for me.
- 32:04SPEAKER_07: But you can call me whatever you want.
- 32:06SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 32:06SPEAKER_06: I said Ange before I'm sort of like usually when I'm saying something that I'm like exasperated.
- 32:10SPEAKER_06: It's like Ange.
- 32:10SPEAKER_07: Well, that's why I feel like everyone just calls me Ange, so that's why I'm like, it's fine.
- 32:14SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 32:14SPEAKER_04: Well, so Gina was saying.
- 32:18SPEAKER_04: Well, that girl was saying that girl.
- 32:21SPEAKER_04: Oh, I do actually like I think you should go by that girl as a first name, Gina's last name.
- 32:26SPEAKER_04: And then when people refer to her like girl.
- 32:28SPEAKER_04: So what did you think of that girl's performance?
- 32:30SPEAKER_07: That girl's being kind of weird.
- 32:32SPEAKER_07: Wait, first name that girl.
- 32:34SPEAKER_07: Last name Gina, Gina, comma that girl.
- 32:36SPEAKER_07: That's right.
- 32:36SPEAKER_04: Well, it's like Untitled.
- 32:37SPEAKER_04: You know that queen, Untitled Queen?
- 32:39SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 32:39SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 32:40SPEAKER_04: When people refer to her, they're like, oh yeah, Untitled is on that lineup.
- 32:44SPEAKER_04: That's Slay.
- 32:45SPEAKER_01: That girl.
- 32:45SPEAKER_01: That girl.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: That girl.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: So this lineup is that girl.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: That girl is momming.
- 32:50SPEAKER_06: Again.
- 32:51SPEAKER_06: Something like kind of related to this.
- 32:52SPEAKER_06: I've been thinking about like imagining like a uh like a 10-year anniversary behind-the-scenes documentary about us doing this podcast.
- 32:58SPEAKER_06: And it's like, I'm imagining, like, yeah, when we were doing uh Big Cuntie, yeah, that was a really formative time.
- 33:04SPEAKER_06: Or like doing couch.
- 33:05SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 33:06SPEAKER_06: We doing on couch.
- 33:07SPEAKER_06: Definitely Big Cuntie.
- 33:08SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 33:08SPEAKER_07: Which reminds me, I I used to work on Body of Proof, that show with Dana Delaney on ABC, release Adam.
- 33:15SPEAKER_04: Dana Delaney is the ultimate that girl.
- 33:17SPEAKER_04: That girl.
- 33:18SPEAKER_07: But the designer used to work on Dirty Sexy Money, and he'd be like, on Dirty Sexy, we used to da-da-da-da.
- 33:24SPEAKER_07: It's just one more word right now.
- 33:26SPEAKER_07: And we didn't do that on Dirty Sexy.
- 33:28SPEAKER_07: I love that actually.
- 33:29SPEAKER_07: So Big Cuntie.
- 33:30SPEAKER_07: Yeah, on Big Cuntie.
- 33:31SPEAKER_07: Yeah, on Big Cuntie, we really when there's a documentary about like how this burns down.
- 33:38SPEAKER_06: We didn't do that.
- 33:38SPEAKER_06: Dirty Sexy did do that on Dirty Sexy.
- 33:40SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 33:40SPEAKER_07: Dirty Sexy Money.
- 33:41SPEAKER_07: Is that what it was called?
- 33:42SPEAKER_07: Dirty Sexy Money?
- 33:43SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 33:43SPEAKER_07: I never saw that.
- 33:45SPEAKER_06: And wasn't also the theme song like Bang Bang by Lady Gaga?
- 33:48SPEAKER_06: Or like Bang Bang?
- 33:49SPEAKER_06: Or beautiful, dirty rich?
- 33:50SPEAKER_06: What is that song?
- 33:51SPEAKER_06: She's like Beautiful Dirty Rich.
- 33:53SPEAKER_05: Beautiful, dirty.
- 33:54SPEAKER_05: When we did Beautiful Surgeon.
- 33:55SPEAKER_05: When she did Beautiful, Dirty.
- 33:56SPEAKER_04: Oh my gosh.
- 33:57SPEAKER_04: It's really cherry-cherry boom boomer.
- 33:58SPEAKER_04: I said this girl is one of the most bolted NYU that girls that I've ever seen.
- 34:04SPEAKER_06: Um do we want to do one of our segments or do we want to talk about Tate McRae?
- 34:08SPEAKER_06: Because I feel like it could go either either way.
- 34:12SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
- 34:13SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 34:14SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 34:15SPEAKER_04: So Tate McCrae, I'm trying to think of another example of something like this where like the name, I feel like I was somehow born knowing that name.
- 34:23SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 34:23SPEAKER_04: And yet don't know what she looks like.
- 34:25SPEAKER_04: Don't know a single song, album, nothing.
- 34:28SPEAKER_04: I've never heard the name.
- 34:30SPEAKER_04: She was not to keep mentioning my holiday party.
- 34:32SPEAKER_04: At my holiday party, she was at your holiday party.
- 34:34SPEAKER_04: She was not at my holiday party.
- 34:36SPEAKER_04: She RSCP'd maybe and then didn't show up.
- 34:38SPEAKER_04: But she was the name on everyone's lips.
- 34:41SPEAKER_04: I had three separate conversations about it.
- 34:42SPEAKER_04: Amazing.
- 34:43SPEAKER_04: And and yet still, despite all those conversations, could not tell you who she is.
- 34:47SPEAKER_04: I have a question about your holiday party.
- 34:48SPEAKER_04: You will find out, I think.
- 34:49SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 34:49SPEAKER_07: By the end of this episode, we'll know who she is.
- 34:51SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 34:52SPEAKER_07: I'm dying to know who was the girl at your holiday party, not to single someone out.
- 34:55SPEAKER_07: It's a compliment, but who was in the backless white gown?
- 34:58SPEAKER_07: Oh, okay.
- 34:59SPEAKER_04: So she was going to a black tie event after.
- 35:01SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 35:02SPEAKER_07: Oh, okay.
- 35:02SPEAKER_07: So we were pretending or hoping that it was just for you.
- 35:06SPEAKER_07: I mean, I would she was swinging big and I was it was I was here for it.
- 35:09SPEAKER_04: She looks incredible.
- 35:11SPEAKER_04: Amazing.
- 35:12SPEAKER_04: It was great.
- 35:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no, I wish um I wish it was for us, but but no.
- 35:16SPEAKER_04: I love that.
- 35:17SPEAKER_04: If it was just that she would have shown up in ripped jeans like Lady Gaga at the Oscars.
- 35:21SPEAKER_04: But the second she's invited to a black tie of a black tie wedding.
- 35:24SPEAKER_07: She can't even bother to change for ours.
- 35:27SPEAKER_07: It was stunning.
- 35:29SPEAKER_07: It was stunning.
- 35:29SPEAKER_07: And just see the backlash.
- 35:32SPEAKER_07: I literally rhinestones.
- 35:33SPEAKER_07: You know, we told her.
- 35:35unknown: I was trimmed.
- 35:35SPEAKER_07: No, there were a couple like white backless gowns at the party.
- 35:38SPEAKER_03: There were?
- 35:38SPEAKER_03: Well, there were gowns.
- 35:40SPEAKER_07: No, I'm kidding.
- 35:41SPEAKER_07: Not that white backless gown.
- 35:43SPEAKER_07: That one.
- 35:43SPEAKER_07: The other one.
- 35:44SPEAKER_07: She was, you know, we had everyone.
- 35:46SPEAKER_07: That's why you didn't take your trench off.
- 35:47SPEAKER_07: Because you're not going to be able to do it because I had mine on.
- 35:49SPEAKER_07: Someone already was doing backlash.
- 35:51SPEAKER_06: It makes so much sense.
- 35:52SPEAKER_06: Someone was already doing backlash.
- 35:53SPEAKER_04: Richard showed up and was like so excited after the big faux pas last year with the candy.
- 35:58SPEAKER_04: He was like, This year I'm wearing a backless gown.
- 36:00SPEAKER_04: Backless?
- 36:01SPEAKER_02: No, but why a dragon?
- 36:03SPEAKER_07: This year you brought a candy bar or like a station.
- 36:05SPEAKER_07: You like a giant.
- 36:08SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
- 36:08SPEAKER_04: A candy station.
- 36:09SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 36:11SPEAKER_04: Richard showed up.
- 36:12SPEAKER_04: Backless gown.
- 36:13SPEAKER_04: Giant toblarone.
- 36:14SPEAKER_02: And then I saw her and I was like, Well, you're right back into that bathroom.
- 36:19SPEAKER_02: And we were like, fuck.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: Shoved the toblerone down the toilet.
- 36:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, try to stitch up your back.
- 36:24SPEAKER_07: Just put the trench back on.
- 36:25SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and it just kept it on.
- 36:26SPEAKER_07: It's never your year.
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: And everyone was like, take it off.
- 36:29SPEAKER_02: Take it off.
- 36:29SPEAKER_02: It's so hot in here.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: What are you doing?
- 36:32SPEAKER_02: People were being so like eventually I was like surrounded by Yana.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: So I was in the middle of a circle.
- 36:38SPEAKER_02: Everyone's pushing me, kicking you, spinning on you.
- 36:41SPEAKER_02: Take it off.
- 36:42SPEAKER_07: That's why I stopped.
- 36:42SPEAKER_07: Because I was like, maybe there's a different reason.
- 36:44SPEAKER_07: You know, I didn't want to embarrass me.
- 36:45SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it was giving sallow.
- 36:46SPEAKER_07: It was giving.
- 36:47SPEAKER_07: But she laughed.
- 36:48SPEAKER_07: She laughed.
- 36:49SPEAKER_06: Yeah, it was giving sallow.
- 36:50SPEAKER_06: It was giving sallow.
- 36:51SPEAKER_04: Lady laughed.
- 36:52SPEAKER_06: I thought you looked great.
- 36:52SPEAKER_06: I had no problem.
- 36:54SPEAKER_04: To be clear, it was just everyone thought you looked great.
- 36:57SPEAKER_04: It was just a weird thing to do.
- 36:59SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you would be really fucking freaky.
- 37:01SPEAKER_07: Not to tube my own horn, but um I was proud of myself for not bringing a bottle of wine.
- 37:06SPEAKER_07: Because like everyone brings a bottle of wine.
- 37:08SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I brought two.
- 37:10SPEAKER_07: Yeah, see?
- 37:10SPEAKER_07: I was like, and you offered it.
- 37:11SPEAKER_07: He was like, I have two.
- 37:12SPEAKER_04: Can remind me what kinds did you bring?
- 37:14SPEAKER_06: Um one was Greek.
- 37:15SPEAKER_06: Um in a weird uh I think it was like a an orange and a white wine.
- 37:20SPEAKER_06: Um then I can say what I what I wanted to say, which is everything was orange?
- 37:24SPEAKER_04: No.
- 37:25SPEAKER_04: So I have recently this is something that I had never considered before, which is weird because I usually um get sort of pissed at a lot of different little things.
- 37:35SPEAKER_04: But this is apparently I'm realizing a huge photos that many people have is basically people bringing like red, like just cheap red wine to a holiday party because what happens is it's hot no one's actually in the mood for red wine because it's hot, you're not pairing it with food.
- 37:52SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 37:52SPEAKER_04: And also it's like you never know if it's gonna spill and stain.
- 37:55SPEAKER_04: So and then what ends up happening is everyone drinks all the white and orange wine, and so then the hosts are left with just like 15 bad like bottles of like undrinkable red wine.
- 38:05SPEAKER_04: Yeah, a lot of things.
- 38:06SPEAKER_04: I was like, no, I guess that is true.
- 38:08SPEAKER_04: So I'm happy.
- 38:08SPEAKER_04: The reason I asked is because I didn't want to offend you, so I'm happy that you did the right thing, which is great orange.
- 38:14SPEAKER_06: That's very could have gone either way.
- 38:16SPEAKER_06: You could have said like everyone brought orange wine, and it's so over, and everyone it's not.
- 38:19SPEAKER_06: No, we were left with all red.
- 38:21SPEAKER_06: That's crazy.
- 38:22SPEAKER_07: That's insane if everyone brought orange wine, though.
- 38:24SPEAKER_04: Well, it's burnt away.
- 38:25SPEAKER_04: We'll never know.
- 38:26SPEAKER_04: I know literally her.
- 38:29SPEAKER_07: Literally, but what a lovely party.
- 38:31SPEAKER_07: Well, to go back to Tate the Craig for one second, sorry.
- 38:34SPEAKER_06: Um so uh I think part of the reason why she's landing with the gays is because she's a big dancer, and her videos are sort of serving.
- 38:40SPEAKER_06: However, the her the one of her videos, it opens with her riding a Zamboni.
- 38:45SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 38:46SPEAKER_06: Um and I was sort of shocked.
- 38:48SPEAKER_06: I was watching it with some other gay guys, and they were like, wow, this is fun.
- 38:50SPEAKER_06: And I was like, she's on a Zamboni.
- 38:52SPEAKER_06: I was like, does anyone is no one else perturbed by the fact that she's she's smoothing out an ice rink on a piece of uh industrial equipment?
- 39:01SPEAKER_06: I'm like, this is bizarre.
- 39:02SPEAKER_06: That was like a music video concept.
- 39:03SPEAKER_06: Yeah, she was just riding the Zamboni.
- 39:05SPEAKER_06: That's insane.
- 39:05SPEAKER_06: So that's insane.
- 39:06SPEAKER_04: You know, you have unlocked a memory, which is that I actually do know one thing about her, and it's that she did a hockey-themed SNL performance.
- 39:12SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 39:12SPEAKER_04: So I think the hockey thing is like a big thing when she's gonna be able to do that on the ice.
- 39:15SPEAKER_04: She grew up on the ice, yeah.
- 39:17SPEAKER_06: No, it's it's her, they've decided that her styling for this era is like sports.
- 39:22SPEAKER_06: It's like she's wearing like shoulder pads and like hockey knee pads, I think on her album art.
- 39:26SPEAKER_06: It's a very unique direction to take.
- 39:29SPEAKER_06: And she leans into it all the way with Zamboni.
- 39:31SPEAKER_06: I was just But does anyone know maybe she did grow up on the ice?
- 39:34SPEAKER_06: Like, I don't know.
- 39:35SPEAKER_04: I love consulting like growing up on the road.
- 39:38SPEAKER_04: Like it's like a thing.
- 39:39SPEAKER_04: Wait, what is it when you're like betting like on the horse tracks?
- 39:42SPEAKER_04: Showing people are like like Bethany Frankel is like, oh yeah, I grew up on the horse tracks.
- 39:45SPEAKER_04: She grew up on the ice.
- 39:46SPEAKER_04: On the ice.
- 39:49SPEAKER_04: My dad was a snowman.
- 39:53SPEAKER_06: Anyway, if you haven't seen the video, look look into it and make your own decisions because I was shocked.
- 39:58SPEAKER_06: It'd be funny if it was all hockey themed, though.
- 40:00SPEAKER_06: It kind of all is, actually.
- 40:01SPEAKER_02: She's like in the locker room and like but then she's like on the ice, right?
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: No, she's just on the zamboni.
- 40:08SPEAKER_02: Kind of like how she gets she doesn't I'm mixing things up.
- 40:10SPEAKER_02: Um is there like some sort of roller rink situation in the video?
- 40:14SPEAKER_02: In the video?
- 40:14SPEAKER_02: Um at all.
- 40:15SPEAKER_02: No, it's ice rink.
- 40:19SPEAKER_02: There's an ice rink?
- 40:20SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 40:20SPEAKER_02: And she's on the Zamboni.
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: What's a Zamboni?
- 40:23SPEAKER_06: Zamboni is the thing they come out that like they like resurface the ice so that like people don't trip and flash.
- 40:30SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's hot.
- 40:30SPEAKER_04: Oh, it's huge.
- 40:32SPEAKER_03: It's huge as big as this couch.
- 40:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she is doing that.
- 40:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, it is big.
- 40:36SPEAKER_02: The Zamboni?
- 40:36SPEAKER_02: It's not a little bumper car.
- 40:37SPEAKER_06: It's like no, it's gigantic.
- 40:38SPEAKER_06: That's why it's so bizarre.
- 40:39SPEAKER_06: It's like, why are you on this giant truck?
- 40:41SPEAKER_06: Like just kind of like she's sure trying to serve, like on a Zamboni, but it's not giving big and slow.
- 40:46SPEAKER_06: But dark and serving.
- 40:47SPEAKER_04: I feel like it's on in the same universe as like hot girl riding a Hummer.
- 40:53SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that's the idea, but the execution, when you finally look at it, you're like, something's sad.
- 40:58SPEAKER_04: It's also such a funny funny word, Zamboni.
- 41:00SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 41:00SPEAKER_04: Zamboni was my body.
- 41:02SPEAKER_06: They really snapped when they named it Zamboni.
- 41:04SPEAKER_06: I know, like why?
- 41:05SPEAKER_06: It's like it was Zamoni.
- 41:06SPEAKER_06: I bet it was some guy who was invented it named Zamboni.
- 41:09SPEAKER_06: Or woman.
- 41:09SPEAKER_06: Um or non-binary.
- 41:11SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah, it was Zambonia Jenkins.
- 41:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 41:14SPEAKER_04: Zambonia.
- 41:16SPEAKER_07: Speaking of Hummers, Hummer.
- 41:18SPEAKER_07: Well, I um speaking of Hummers, that's my like news segment.
- 41:24SPEAKER_07: More at 11.
- 41:25SPEAKER_07: It's um I drove by a Hummer Stretch limo parked behind a classic like 80s white limo, a Coke limo.
- 41:33SPEAKER_07: And I was like, oh, this is a funny picture.
- 41:35SPEAKER_07: It's like new, new school, old school.
- 41:38SPEAKER_07: You know, which is better or worse.
- 41:40SPEAKER_04: When the Hummer limos came out, that was my first.
- 41:43SPEAKER_04: This is the gayest thing I will ever say.
- 41:45SPEAKER_04: That was my first memory of thinking something was tacky.
- 41:50SPEAKER_04: I just remember being like amazing.
- 41:55SPEAKER_04: Wow, that's incredible.
- 41:56SPEAKER_06: I always prefer a Hummer limo to like a Hummer classic.
- 41:59SPEAKER_04: Well, now it's like ironic.
- 42:01SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it almost became a whole thing.
- 42:03SPEAKER_04: But like when it first came out, I was like, this can't be good.
- 42:05SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 42:06SPEAKER_04: I've never been in one.
- 42:07SPEAKER_04: I've never, I I feel like you've never been in one.
- 42:09SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
- 42:09SPEAKER_04: Hummer limo, no.
- 42:10SPEAKER_04: I've barely been in a I've never Have you been in a normal limo?
- 42:13SPEAKER_02: Actually, one time spun like by accident.
- 42:16SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 42:16SPEAKER_04: I think I have.
- 42:18SPEAKER_04: By accident.
- 42:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Wait, we got so that I'm like, okay, is this what was your accident?
- 42:28SPEAKER_03: Um what's your accident?
- 42:30SPEAKER_02: That's a new segment.
- 42:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, wait, what was your accident?
- 42:33SPEAKER_02: First time in a limousine.
- 42:34SPEAKER_02: What was your accident?
- 42:36SPEAKER_02: My uh this was like it was like 10 years ago.
- 42:40SPEAKER_02: I was out with some friends and like someone, I don't know, it's all blurry.
- 42:46SPEAKER_02: Like there was like a limo parked, and the guy was like chatting with like someone that I was in a like group with, like walking around East Village.
- 42:54SPEAKER_02: I was like 23 or something.
- 42:55SPEAKER_06: Yeah, they just got in the limo and they drove you like five blocks.
- 42:58SPEAKER_02: Like literally, like someone was like negotiating with him, like, come on, just drive us from East Village to Chinatown.
- 43:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and like we'll give you uh whatever, we'll pay like we'll give you this candy.
- 43:07SPEAKER_02: We'll pay you, we'll give you candy.
- 43:10SPEAKER_02: And and then we got in and um and I it was pretty chill, actually.
- 43:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 43:16SPEAKER_02: We just got in, we were like, this is fun.
- 43:18SPEAKER_06: That the exact same thing happened to me, actually.
- 43:20SPEAKER_06: I and I think I don't think you haggled.
- 43:22SPEAKER_06: I think they just kind of I think they just do that.
- 43:24SPEAKER_06: I think they're like a car for hire.
- 43:26SPEAKER_06: They're like, Yeah, I'll I'll get another 35 bucks tonight by taking these drunk people across town.
- 43:31SPEAKER_04: Like, yeah.
- 43:32SPEAKER_04: You know, one time when I was young and I didn't know you weren't supposed to like at the airport, you weren't supposed to engage with people that are going around being like, You need a ride, you need to ride, you need to ride.
- 43:41SPEAKER_04: I thought they were just normal cab drivers.
- 43:43SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 43:43SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 43:44SPEAKER_04: And so I this guy in like a fully black old Mercedes van was like, Are you looking for a cab?
- 43:50SPEAKER_04: And I was like, sure, and then I got in and I sort of like get my bearings, you know, I'm jet lagged, I'm tired.
- 43:56SPEAKER_04: Look around the doors of the back of the car Have nothing on them.
- 44:01SPEAKER_04: Like there's no way to, there's no handle of the door.
- 44:04SPEAKER_04: It looks like a kidnapper's car.
- 44:06SPEAKER_04: I mean, it's diff uh what you're imagining is what it was.
- 44:09SPEAKER_04: I'm not exaggerating.
- 44:10SPEAKER_06: And so I'm mentioning Zamboni.
- 44:12SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah, because it was a Zamboni.
- 44:15SPEAKER_04: I grew up on the ice.
- 44:19SPEAKER_07: Someone had to.
- 44:20SPEAKER_04: And so I suddenly was like, and I then I was like, is there I was sort of stealthily being like, is there a way to get out?
- 44:27SPEAKER_04: And there was clearly not a way to get out.
- 44:28SPEAKER_04: I look at the driver, suddenly realize he looks so sketchy.
- 44:32SPEAKER_04: Okay, but you can't tell me.
- 44:33SPEAKER_07: There are no doors in the door.
- 44:35SPEAKER_07: Oh, I thought it was open door.
- 44:37SPEAKER_07: No door.
- 44:39SPEAKER_07: It was an open concept to Merlin.
- 44:42SPEAKER_07: I thought it was like missing doors.
- 44:43SPEAKER_07: That's why I was like mad max.
- 44:44SPEAKER_07: And you were like, I there's no way to get out of here.
- 44:46unknown: I was like, girl.
- 44:48SPEAKER_08: It's actually actorship.
- 44:51SPEAKER_03: It's actual roll.
- 44:53SPEAKER_07: Sorry.
- 44:55SPEAKER_02: Anyways.
- 44:56SPEAKER_02: Wait, so the doors, you close it, and then you can't.
- 44:59SPEAKER_04: From the outside, it looks semi-normal.
- 45:00SPEAKER_04: It definitely looked like older than your average.
- 45:02SPEAKER_04: On the inside, it's a house of horrors.
- 45:04SPEAKER_04: Literally, like I it looked like like there were like wires hanging out of the door.
- 45:08SPEAKER_04: Like it was.
- 45:08SPEAKER_04: I was like, I'm being kidnapped.
- 45:10SPEAKER_04: This is very clear what's happening.
- 45:11SPEAKER_04: I'm being kidnapped, and my organs are going to be harvested.
- 45:14SPEAKER_04: And I just panicked, and I was, and I I sort of tried calmly to be like, oh, never mind.
- 45:20SPEAKER_04: Can you leave me at this corner?
- 45:22SPEAKER_04: And then he did, and then charged me$60 for like you know, two blocks or whatever.
- 45:26SPEAKER_04: But I was like, of course, thankfully I had cash on me because I was so young that it was like my parents had been like, make sure to have$300 in cash with me at all times.
- 45:39SPEAKER_04: My God.
- 45:40SPEAKER_04: Anyway.
- 45:42SPEAKER_04: So yeah, treasure that limo story because it could have been a lot of things.
- 45:44SPEAKER_02: I know it could have been worse.
- 45:45SPEAKER_02: And I'm glad you're okay.
- 45:46SPEAKER_02: Should we do a thingy?
- 45:48SPEAKER_06: What do you want to do?
- 45:51SPEAKER_06: Sorry, I must have can't see you through your eye.
- 45:52SPEAKER_06: I'm hiding.
- 45:54SPEAKER_06: Um we do Contrapunt?
- 45:56SPEAKER_06: Ooh, sure.
- 45:57SPEAKER_06: Yeah, let's do Contra Punt.
- 45:59SPEAKER_02: We were gonna suggest that.
- 46:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 46:01SPEAKER_02: Wait, that was our segment.
- 46:02SPEAKER_02: I know, right?
- 46:03SPEAKER_02: We have stuff prepared to ask you guys.
- 46:05SPEAKER_06: Well, we would love to hear that too actually.
- 46:08SPEAKER_06: P of the week.
- 46:08SPEAKER_06: Well, no one else has said their pee of the week.
- 46:10SPEAKER_07: What's your pee of week?
- 46:10SPEAKER_02: Because I jump around them often.
- 46:14SPEAKER_02: Oh, peeve of the week.
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: What's your pet peeve?
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: We've got one every week.
- 46:16SPEAKER_02: Pet peeve?
- 46:17SPEAKER_02: Pet peeve.
- 46:18SPEAKER_02: My pet peeve of the week is myself talking about the same thing.
- 46:27SPEAKER_02: How do I word it?
- 46:28SPEAKER_04: No, I know what you're saying.
- 46:30SPEAKER_04: Getting tired of your own.
- 46:31SPEAKER_02: Getting tired of like my own like things I'm bringing up.
- 46:34SPEAKER_02: Gotcha.
- 46:35SPEAKER_02: When someone okay.
- 46:36SPEAKER_02: My P of the we.
- 46:39SPEAKER_02: It's a week.
- 46:39SPEAKER_02: The my P of the Wii is when someone is like, How are you?
- 46:45SPEAKER_02: And the only way the only thing I can think of to answer is like something that's like making me crazy.
- 46:53SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 46:54SPEAKER_07: Such as you're saying like a negative thing.
- 46:57SPEAKER_02: Like a negative thing.
- 46:58SPEAKER_02: Like a problem I have.
- 46:59SPEAKER_06: But is that I mean like I understand that's what I'm saying?
- 47:01SPEAKER_02: Because I'm like, especially if I don't even know you, like I'm like, I don't need to talk about this again.
- 47:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 47:06SPEAKER_02: I've talked about this like 18 different times.
- 47:08SPEAKER_07: I've been on the receiving end and I do kind of like get annoyed when someone really like when I ask, like, how are you?
- 47:12SPEAKER_07: I I'm thinking like I'm gonna get the small talk answer.
- 47:15SPEAKER_07: And if someone really like starts unpacking something that I don't need or wasn't expecting that can be a lot, but that's not to say I don't want to hear all your problems.
- 47:23SPEAKER_07: That's just for that's just for like strangers.
- 47:25SPEAKER_07: So I just feel like a couple of weeks ago.
- 47:27SPEAKER_02: I mean, I've gone to like eight holiday parties.
- 47:31SPEAKER_06: And how much candy did you bring and then not give?
- 47:35SPEAKER_06: And how many of them were black tie?
- 47:37SPEAKER_02: Let's just say let's just say let's just say there's no more candy available in New York.
- 47:46SPEAKER_02: Let's let's just say I wonka is out of a job.
- 47:56SPEAKER_04: Let's George say there's there's no more candy in my in my city New York.
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: Let's just say Tate McRae isn't gonna be chomping.
- 48:23SPEAKER_07: Okay, you won't wait to a little com that one.
- 48:25SPEAKER_07: It's gonna be chomping.
- 48:26SPEAKER_02: She isn't gonna be chomping on a Zimbony anytime soon.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: We're talking about that, we'll talk about that.
- 48:36SPEAKER_01: So again, that's what I'm trying to like.
- 48:42SPEAKER_01: So like at holiday parties.
- 48:45SPEAKER_02: That's no, got it, got it.
- 48:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 48:47SPEAKER_02: So at holiday parties, you know, I um definitely it can be fun sometimes.
- 48:53SPEAKER_02: I have had fun talking about like my current like personal issues, but like at the same time, it's not like I'm like talking about it in a way that's like, oh, I would really want advice, or it's more of just like it's not even like it's all that consuming, but it's like a nervous habit.
- 49:10SPEAKER_02: It's a habit.
- 49:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's just it's it's just out of being like, oh what's interesting?
- 49:14SPEAKER_02: What's oh here's this, and then like 18 people, and then like someone overhears what I just told that you're like, yeah, they're just like, oh, you're still talking about it.
- 49:24SPEAKER_02: But like, just take the trench off.
- 49:25SPEAKER_02: Oh and I'm not taking my coat off.
- 49:28SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm giving a weird vibe at the holiday party.
- 49:31SPEAKER_02: It happened.
- 49:32SPEAKER_02: It's so hard to be normal.
- 49:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's really it's a hard before.
- 49:34SPEAKER_04: That's why I listened to you crushed at the holiday party.
- 49:36SPEAKER_04: Honestly, I did.
- 49:37SPEAKER_04: You did, yeah.
- 49:38SPEAKER_04: I really brought a really fun plus one that's like someone I would not have thought to invite.
- 49:43SPEAKER_04: Casey Jane Ellison.
- 49:44SPEAKER_04: Casey Jane Ellison, someone I would not have thought to invite.
- 49:47SPEAKER_04: I didn't know well, and then literally by the end of the night, we exchanged numbers.
- 49:50SPEAKER_04: And that happened because of you.
- 49:51SPEAKER_07: Did you have a pee of the we or did you have a phone?
- 49:53SPEAKER_07: I think my red wine thing was my P of the Wii.
- 49:57SPEAKER_07: The nails, alright.
- 49:59SPEAKER_04: I mean, I do want to say my P of the Wii was plagiarized.
- 50:01SPEAKER_04: I did not think I was I kept hearing it as other people's P of the Wii, and I was like, oh, I guess I've never thought to be frustrated at someone bringing red wine to a holiday party, but now they've convinced me and now it's my P of the Wii.
- 50:12SPEAKER_07: I mean valid.
- 50:13SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 50:13SPEAKER_06: I've literally had 40 bottles of red when you're the host left to yourself.
- 50:17SPEAKER_06: That's that's hard.
- 50:19SPEAKER_06: My problems to be honest.
- 50:20SPEAKER_04: What?
- 50:20SPEAKER_04: Oh, same.
- 50:21SPEAKER_04: Well, I actually had the when I walked in and you were like, How's it going?
- 50:25SPEAKER_04: I truly froze.
- 50:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 50:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 50:27SPEAKER_02: That's what I default to.
- 50:29SPEAKER_02: But I just feel like it turns into a script and it's so like I'm like, I'm like disgusted with myself.
- 50:33SPEAKER_06: Well, I guess the positive way of looking at it is like, well, you're in touch with your feelings and you know what's going on.
- 50:38SPEAKER_06: That's just maybe it doesn't need to be delivered to every single person you come into contact with.
- 50:44SPEAKER_06: I do think small talk is like a lost art.
- 50:47SPEAKER_06: Like people, yeah.
- 50:48SPEAKER_06: Sometimes people complain, they're like, I don't want to talk about the weather.
- 50:50SPEAKER_06: It's like, no, I'm fucked.
- 50:51SPEAKER_06: That's like if you're in an elevator with somebody and you're standing there like this, it's like that's that's not normal.
- 50:56SPEAKER_06: What's normal is like, how are you?
- 50:57SPEAKER_06: Oh my god, hey, yeah.
- 50:58SPEAKER_06: I know it's funny.
- 51:00SPEAKER_02: It was so warm last weekend.
- 51:02SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's so cool.
- 51:02SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, it's you can never tell.
- 51:04SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, that reminds me when I was growing up.
- 51:06SPEAKER_02: When did you grow up?
- 51:08SPEAKER_02: Well, I think people was like, no.
- 51:09SPEAKER_02: Like, wait, that's Taylor Craig was crushing at your party.
- 51:13SPEAKER_07: You know when you go in for the how are you and you don't actually you're not actually asking?
- 51:17SPEAKER_07: You just go up to someone.
- 51:18SPEAKER_07: It's been so cold, and now it's hot.
- 51:23SPEAKER_07: Come on, we're mere acquaintances.
- 51:25SPEAKER_07: Like, they're like, hey, how are you?
- 51:26SPEAKER_07: How you doing?
- 51:27SPEAKER_07: I there's no start.
- 51:29SPEAKER_07: You got it?
- 51:29SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you know, you know, I'm actually coming full circle on this where I think the reason so many people brought up your coat is because they were like finally an easy thing to talk about.
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: Like low stakes, I'm gonna be able together.
- 51:41SPEAKER_04: Like you're low stakes, but not boring.
- 51:46SPEAKER_04: Yes, like low stakes, but not boring, like the weather, not boring like what are you doing for you know Christmas or whatever.
- 51:52SPEAKER_04: It's like sort of inherently funny.
- 51:55SPEAKER_04: Like ha ha, everyone is so cold, everyone's so hot, but you're wearing a coat.
- 51:59SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and you know, uh making you the butt of the joke makes them feel superior.
- 52:03SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 52:04SPEAKER_04: So sort of a win-win for everyone.
- 52:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:06SPEAKER_02: All right, but then I got them back.
- 52:08SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 52:09SPEAKER_02: I got them back.
- 52:10SPEAKER_02: And then they didn't forget whose mama.
- 52:13unknown: Who's mama?
- 52:14SPEAKER_07: Quickly.
- 52:16SPEAKER_07: Do you all Family Stone like for Christmas?
- 52:19SPEAKER_07: I do, I think.
- 52:21SPEAKER_07: I mean, I yeah.
- 52:21SPEAKER_07: For me, it's like Mariah, all I want for Christmas, and Family Stone.
- 52:24SPEAKER_07: That's Christmas.
- 52:25SPEAKER_07: That's Christmas to me.
- 52:26SPEAKER_06: I thought the Family Stone was a Thanksgiving movie.
- 52:28SPEAKER_04: No.
- 52:29SPEAKER_04: I don't think so.
- 52:29SPEAKER_04: I've never seen it.
- 52:30SPEAKER_04: You're thinking of Pieces of April starring Katie Holmes.
- 52:32SPEAKER_04: Oh, yes, as I always am.
- 52:34SPEAKER_04: He's always thinking about Pieces of April.
- 52:36SPEAKER_04: The two that I rewatch are Pieces or I rewatch the Thanksgiving movie, Pieces of April on Christmas.
- 52:44SPEAKER_04: I I rewatch The Family Stone and I rewatch Eyes Wide Shut.
- 52:47SPEAKER_04: And the last few years, you know, they play it, you know, in like whatever theaters are doing, like Christmas movies.
- 52:52SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 52:53SPEAKER_04: Um, and it's so fun.
- 52:55SPEAKER_04: I love Eyes Wide Shut.
- 52:56SPEAKER_04: It's so good.
- 52:57SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, you did bring that up to me.
- 52:58SPEAKER_04: But yeah.
- 52:59SPEAKER_04: Well, we should do that.
- 53:02SPEAKER_07: Uh Family Stone.
- 53:03SPEAKER_07: I always thought was like timeless.
- 53:04SPEAKER_07: I mean, it's always been bad, but like amazing.
- 53:06SPEAKER_07: But now in recent years, I'm like, this is getting harder to like.
- 53:08SPEAKER_04: Oh, I love it.
- 53:10SPEAKER_04: I'll have to But it's been a few years.
- 53:12SPEAKER_04: I think last time I watched it was maybe three years ago.
- 53:15SPEAKER_04: You're gonna be like, oh, okay.
- 53:16SPEAKER_07: It's just getting cornier and cornier.
- 53:19SPEAKER_04: It's a Christmas movie.
- 53:20SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 53:21SPEAKER_04: Everyone dies of cancer.
- 53:22SPEAKER_04: Everyone dies of cancer.
- 53:23SPEAKER_04: No, everyone?
- 53:24SPEAKER_04: No, not everyone.
- 53:25SPEAKER_04: Just one, but we won't say that.
- 53:26SPEAKER_04: Sally.
- 53:27SPEAKER_07: But it's with like who's in it?
- 53:28SPEAKER_07: Whatever.
- 53:29SPEAKER_07: It's 30 years old.
- 53:30SPEAKER_07: Spoiler alert! Wait, did you think that's a Sally?
- 53:32SPEAKER_04: Wait, wait, Sally Field?
- 53:33SPEAKER_04: No, no, it's uh Diane.
- 53:35SPEAKER_04: Diane Keith.
- 53:36SPEAKER_05: Why'd I say Sally Field?
- 53:38SPEAKER_05: I don't know.
- 53:38SPEAKER_05: Why did I say Sally Jesse Raphael?
- 53:40SPEAKER_04: They're in the same universe, Academy Award-winning.
- 53:43SPEAKER_04: Um, if you're watching, she is forgive me.
- 53:46SPEAKER_04: This is all being beaten.
- 53:47SPEAKER_04: I did not have house directly.
- 53:49SPEAKER_07: I'm a Keaton fan, and that's really her call.
- 53:51SPEAKER_04: It's a Christmas movie that was sort of never appreciated at its time.
- 53:54SPEAKER_04: It came out in like 2005 or something, and it's with an amaz this like incredible cast like Sarah Jessica Parker and Diane Keaton and um Rachel McAdams and Luke Wilson.
- 54:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's ensemble.
- 54:04SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't know how to do it.
- 54:04SPEAKER_04: But it has sort of had this after life boyfriends.
- 54:07SPEAKER_07: Claire Danes comes in like three-quarters of the way through.
- 54:09SPEAKER_07: It's like Claire, like they just keep bringing out the A-listers.
- 54:13SPEAKER_04: It's not and everyone in the room is like, is that Claire Danes?
- 54:16SPEAKER_07: I love Homeland.
- 54:17SPEAKER_07: Her entrance is falling off a bus.
- 54:19SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 54:19SPEAKER_07: I was like, oh yeah, it's crazy.
- 54:22SPEAKER_04: They're like stunning, stunning, stunning, and everyone's like, oh my god.
- 54:25SPEAKER_04: And she's like, hi God.
- 54:27SPEAKER_07: It's crazy.
- 54:28SPEAKER_07: And it's like a very painful, like she'd be hospitalized according to that fall.
- 54:31SPEAKER_07: But she's fine.
- 54:32SPEAKER_07: But she's fine.
- 54:33SPEAKER_04: But also like again, I'm not the first gay man to say this, but Sarah Jessica Parker in that film.
- 54:40SPEAKER_04: Plays.
- 54:41SPEAKER_07: As Meredith, oh my god, she just plays this like icy, like misunderstood girl who's a bit uptight.
- 54:46SPEAKER_07: Business bitch.
- 54:47SPEAKER_07: She can do nothing right.
- 54:48SPEAKER_04: Business bitch, but wants to impress this family who's more like low-key and sort of like liberal, like blue state.
- 54:55SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 54:55SPEAKER_04: And she's like a CEO.
- 54:57SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 54:58SPEAKER_07: She kills it.
- 54:59SPEAKER_07: And that slick back middle part.
- 55:02SPEAKER_04: And she has this tick where she's always clearing her throat in a really annoying way, and everyone's annoyed with it.
- 55:07SPEAKER_04: And so she'll be like, um, she's trying to get everyone's attention to make it tell.
- 55:10SPEAKER_04: She's like, uh Yeah.
- 55:13SPEAKER_04: It's and I did it perfectly.
- 55:16SPEAKER_04: We're gonna cut that next trick of it.
- 55:18SPEAKER_04: Um no, dub it with her actual yeah, like, wait, that sounds exactly like her.
- 55:22SPEAKER_07: But then she loosens up and all is good.
- 55:24SPEAKER_06: And then they swap husbands, boyfriends?
- 55:26SPEAKER_06: Like the brothers switch girlfriends?
- 55:28SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
- 55:28SPEAKER_06: Yeah, check it out.
- 55:29SPEAKER_07: That's kind of free.
- 55:30SPEAKER_07: Check it out, and also do check out Mariah Carrie's All I Want for Christmas, too.
- 55:33SPEAKER_07: I've never heard that.
- 55:34SPEAKER_07: I should that's a Thanksgiving song, I thought.
- 55:37SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it's about turkey.
- 55:40SPEAKER_07: It's about stopping the bird.
- 55:43SPEAKER_00: There is just one thing I need.
- 55:47SPEAKER_02: And uh I don't care about the presents.
- 55:59SPEAKER_03: You guys, we don't have the rights to that.
- 56:00SPEAKER_06: Yeah we can't we have to copyright strike.
- 56:03SPEAKER_06: Um counterpunt?
- 56:05SPEAKER_06: What are we doing?
- 56:08SPEAKER_07: Yeah, wait, Richard.
- 56:09SPEAKER_06: No, it's good.
- 56:10SPEAKER_06: We got plenty of time.
- 56:11SPEAKER_06: Or counterpunt.
- 56:13SPEAKER_06: So what is counterpunt?
- 56:14SPEAKER_07: Is our saying if something's cunt or not, you're kicking it because it's like toot or boot.
- 56:19SPEAKER_04: Kind of.
- 56:19SPEAKER_04: Oh god.
- 56:21SPEAKER_07: Dragasa.
- 56:22SPEAKER_04: I was more comp I'm like it's it's toot or boot.
- 56:25SPEAKER_04: Not afraid to reference or not reference.
- 56:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 56:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 56:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 56:29unknown: Yeah.
- 56:30SPEAKER_07: Moo Moo Farm, which is a level in the original Mario Kart.
- 56:36SPEAKER_07: Oh.
- 56:36SPEAKER_07: You can take this one.
- 56:37SPEAKER_02: Cunt.
- 56:38SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 56:38SPEAKER_07: It's cotton.
- 56:40SPEAKER_07: It's a level that people kind of hate, but it's kind of fun.
- 56:42SPEAKER_06: But I kind of think anything in Mario Kart is cunt.
- 56:44SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 56:45SPEAKER_06: I agree.
- 56:46SPEAKER_02: Like this couch is almost in that universe.
- 56:48SPEAKER_06: Wow.
- 56:48SPEAKER_06: Oh my god.
- 56:49SPEAKER_04: This could definitely be a level in a video game.
- 56:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 56:52SPEAKER_04: It's like can you survive a gay topic?
- 56:54SPEAKER_04: Princess Peach definitely has like a room.
- 56:56SPEAKER_06: This is definitely pretty much if this isn't a video game.
- 56:59SPEAKER_06: If you sat on this couch, it would take damage the entire time you're on it.
- 57:03SPEAKER_06: This is Princess Peach's power.
- 57:05SPEAKER_06: Princess Peach's like, yeah.
- 57:07SPEAKER_06: That's perfect.
- 57:08SPEAKER_06: No, but I do think everything in Mario Kart 64 is cunt.
- 57:12SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 57:13SPEAKER_06: I think anything N64 is.
- 57:16SPEAKER_06: Oh my god, there was a game called Pilot Wings.
- 57:19SPEAKER_06: Did you ever play that on N64?
- 57:20SPEAKER_06: I'm so cute.
- 57:21SPEAKER_06: It was about like you maybe like fly like different flying things, but one of the levels, one of the options, like you could just have wings with like a little character with wings.
- 57:28SPEAKER_06: I was like, this is the baggiest I've ever felt in my entire life.
- 57:30SPEAKER_06: Because you're just playing a character who could like fly through an open landscape.
- 57:34SPEAKER_06: Oh my god.
- 57:35SPEAKER_06: It was I knew I was.
- 57:36SPEAKER_07: Well, I I was embarrassed because I always um loved the adventure, adventure-based games, like not sport anything.
- 57:41SPEAKER_07: Like Zelda.
- 57:42SPEAKER_07: That was like Zelda, Banjoin Kazooie, like all like the stories.
- 57:48SPEAKER_07: Like RPG.
- 57:48SPEAKER_07: I was like, oh, that's you're gay if you like the adventure-based right?
- 57:53SPEAKER_04: Is it video games are such a blind spot for me, that's why I'm being uncharacteristically quiet.
- 57:59SPEAKER_04: And actually, even the Mario like I like the idea of doing Mario Kart or a Super Smash Brothers or something, but I was always like, I don't know, like I'm just pressing the same button over.
- 58:08SPEAKER_04: Like I never understood the skill, and I always actually felt kind of stupid to your point about feeling stupid.
- 58:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I definitely did around video games.
- 58:16SPEAKER_02: Like my brothers loved playing video games, and I would watch a lot.
- 58:20SPEAKER_02: Sometimes I would play.
- 58:21SPEAKER_06: That's truly how I like know all video games.
- 58:23SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 58:24SPEAKER_02: Or like that era, like GoldenEye, like N64.
- 58:28SPEAKER_02: You did have brothers.
- 58:29SPEAKER_02: I did, yeah.
- 58:30SPEAKER_02: And like my younger brother, like, he would play like Final Fantasy and like stuff like that.
- 58:35SPEAKER_02: And I remember I would say this thing to kind of like get under his skin.
- 58:39SPEAKER_02: I was like 13, he was like 11.
- 58:42SPEAKER_02: And like I would be like, I don't know, we would disagree.
- 58:45SPEAKER_02: And I'm just like, whatever.
- 58:46SPEAKER_02: You act like your life is an RPG.
- 58:48SPEAKER_02: And then he genuinely and he got upset this one time I said that.
- 58:52SPEAKER_02: And I just like would say it again.
- 58:55SPEAKER_02: Baby's first read.
- 58:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 58:57SPEAKER_02: That was my first read.
- 59:00SPEAKER_04: That was your version of me thinking Hummer Lim was attacking.
- 59:03SPEAKER_02: I'm like, my brother thinks that he's in an RPG.
- 59:06SPEAKER_02: You need to level up.
- 59:06SPEAKER_02: What a loser.
- 59:07SPEAKER_07: In life.
- 59:08SPEAKER_07: Wait, did you ever play Aquari Enough Time?
- 59:10SPEAKER_07: Not even that?
- 59:10SPEAKER_07: Because I'm really playing this from a gamer, but I had and I had sisters, and we all, it was like I also had sisters.
- 59:16SPEAKER_04: No, I really like I don't know what it is.
- 59:19SPEAKER_04: You know what else?
- 59:20SPEAKER_04: I also am really bad at spatial thinking.
- 59:22SPEAKER_04: Like I have the worst sense of direction.
- 59:24SPEAKER_04: I don't notice things.
- 59:27SPEAKER_04: I'm just I need it's you're gonna be gay.
- 59:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's it's overwhelming.
- 59:34SPEAKER_04: I would much rather honestly, I would much rather like do a puzzle.
- 59:39SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
- 59:39SPEAKER_02: Did you did you do Pokemon?
- 59:41SPEAKER_02: I did Yu-Gi-Oh! and do you guys do that?
- 59:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, collected.
- 59:44SPEAKER_07: I did Pokemon in that I collected and had a binder.
- 59:47SPEAKER_07: But then when people were like, Do you know how to play?
- 59:49SPEAKER_07: I'm like, no one has played Richard based on how you didn't play.
- 59:53SPEAKER_07: I didn't play.
- 59:54SPEAKER_04: Richard, you played.
- 59:55SPEAKER_04: Richard, I didn't play.
- 59:55SPEAKER_04: I didn't play.
- 59:57SPEAKER_04: You're still in tournaments.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_04: No way.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_04: Um growing up on the ice, we didn't have Pokemon cards.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_06: What else is so Mumu farm is cunt?
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_06: That's that we can canonize that.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_07: Next cost job.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_07: Okay, who's one?
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_06: Um well we could um chicken parm, not to ram up farms.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_04: So extremely but here's the question.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_04: Everything's cunt.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_04: Everything I say is cunt.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_04: Chicken parm or eggplant parm more cunt.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_04: Ooh, that's really hard.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_04: Eggplant eggplant.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_06: I'm gonna I think chicken.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_06: I'm gonna say eggplant parm.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_06: Is more cunt than chicken parm?
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_04: I think eggplant parm is always cunt.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_04: I think chicken parm, if it's like dry, if they don't do it well, it can be punched.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_02: And also your tummy.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_02: Say that.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_02: Like how I don't know, I feel like it's so filly.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_02: It's a lot that like you might feel a little like uh I should go, I should go home.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_07: You know, there's eggplant parm isn't for everyone, and that kind of makes it cut in a way that's like if you get it, here's what I'll say about both you know, you would think this is actually a big idea.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_04: You would think you'd want a thick piece of something because that's so decadent.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_04: No, no, no, you want thin and big, you want like a basic like a tiny, thin, almost like a pizza of pizza.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_04: Pizza of chicken.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but it can be too thin.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_07: If it's hammered a little too much, sure.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_07: But do take out the hammer because I agree.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_07: Like it needs to be.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_07: Yeah, you gotta hammer thinner, on the thinner side.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_07: But sometimes when it's too thin, it's just breading.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_07: You're like, okay.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_07: I'm trying to.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_07: I mean, I need protein.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_07: I'm bulking.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_07: I'm bulking.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_07: I'm bulking.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_04: Jesus.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_04: No, I think it's cut.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_04: I think it's chicken parm is cut.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_04: If you bring it back, you're like, sorry, I'm bulking.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_04: I'm I'm bulking.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_07: Huh.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_07: I'm sweating.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_07: Because I'm bulking.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_07: Hello?
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_07: Hello?
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_07: Hello?
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_07: Do you guys have a counter punt?
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_07: Oh, oh, okay.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_07: Do you have one?
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_07: Um Pam Anderson's scrubbed face.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_07: She recently makes no makeup on cut.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_07: Very the tattoo eyebrows a little bit of a punt, but like it we all make mistakes.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_06: It's empowering.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_06: But the fact that she's empowering.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_06: But she hasn't fixed it, so it's like I feel like that's cant.
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_06: Like if she was trying to lean into like a scrubbed look and she got it all redone, that would be sort of like, okay, she's trying, but she's just like she's like, she really doesn't fucking care.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_06: She's like, these are tattooed on.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_06: And I did that 20 years ago, so or 40 years ago at this point, I guess, probably.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_07: I think it was 39.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:02:34SPEAKER_07: 38, 39.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_04: Okay, let me think.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_04: Uh all my the ones that are coming to me are holidays, so they're gonna be but okay, you will log.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_04: That's a punt.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_04: It's a punt for me too.
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_04: It's a big punt.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_04: What are you never doing?
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_04: Punt.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_04: I used to be punt on it, and then I had the best one I've ever had in my life recently, and now I'm cunt.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_04: Is it like homemade or would it come in like a like a fancy?
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_04: It was like fancy bakery.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_04: Yeah.

- 1:02:59SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_06: Yeah.

- 1:03:03SPEAKER_07: I mean my like heritage, but I uh it's a punt for me.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_07: Relatedly raising bizarre.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_06: Raisins are a punt on.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_06: They're a punt for me.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_06: Raisins.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_07: They're cunt?
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_07: You say raisins are cunt?
- 1:03:14SPEAKER_07: I think they're not golden raisins.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_07: They really embarrass me.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_07: No.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_07: Uh you often find them in like salads.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_07: Raisins and salads.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_07: No.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_07: Well, this is hard.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna say regular raisins are cunt for me.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_04: Okay, just on their own.
- 1:03:26SPEAKER_04: I mean, on the on their own.
- 1:03:28SPEAKER_04: I'm not a serial kid.
- 1:03:29SPEAKER_06: No, but I mean, like we have to reach consensus, or we can't.
- 1:03:31SPEAKER_06: We're not having dots of raisins alone.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_04: You are unable to answer the simple question.
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_03: There are raisins and this is all raisins, actually.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_04: That's three raisins.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_04: That would be genius.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_04: I would say raisins historically are a punt for me, but I'm learning to like them in my older age.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_04: But they're still punt done to my head.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_06: Raisins in something can be cunt raising.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_04: Raisins alone are punt.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_06: Like a box of raisins.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_06: Like as yeah.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_06: Yeah.

- 1:04:05SPEAKER_07: Oh, obviously that's like an old non nana thing.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_04: I feel like I wouldn't do Cheerios.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_04: I would, it's like, that's very much like a dad having, um, or I guess my dad, having like fiber cereal.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_07: And it's like, this just keeps me regular.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_07: Invented pure for magic.

- 1:04:50SPEAKER_04: Like an everyday sneaker, everyday whatever.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_04: So I think we're no longer we're no longer no longer doing Air Force Ones.
- 1:04:58SPEAKER_04: Are we not?
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_06: Well, I mean I think they can they can they have a time and a place, I think.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_04: But in general, yes, we've moved past that.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_04: But lately when I wear them, I don't feel fashionable.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_04: But they are it's you can spin it as ironic and it's fine.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_04: But it's almost like it hasn't been long like I don't know.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_06: I I this is semi-related to that, but it's like I saw I I feel like the straight man's like dress sneaker is a is a plague that needs to be eradicated.

- 1:05:59SPEAKER_07: They are.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_07: Cunt, but I feel me.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_02: It's not comfortable to me.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_02: I really feel like I'm where I'm supposed to be.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_02: When I wear a clock.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_07: You also um tear up a knee sock and pull it off in such a way.
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_07: Thank you.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_07: You don't have it on now, but I feel like your signature is kind of like shorts, shorts, knee socks, knee socks, sweater.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_07: Or sit sweater.

- 1:06:29SPEAKER_02: And a thong.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_06: And a plate of pentatonic.
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_07: I like little pentatonic.

- 1:06:40SPEAKER_04: Oh my god, Pentatone as a handbag.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_04: That is what it's coming.
- 1:06:44SPEAKER_04: Okay, new trend.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_04: Panatoni as a handbag.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_04: It's Christmas Eve in the day.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_04: Slap you with a panic on my wall.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_04: And then you have to say your catchphrase, pull the raisin.
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_04: I'm in my bag era.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_04: Like you know what is punt in terms of everyday shoes?
- 1:07:04SPEAKER_04: These babies.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_04: I don't think so.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_07: Is that a Chelsea boot or no?
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_04: They're blunts.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_04: It's just like everyone has them, and I do think that we've reached a level of saturation.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_04: I think so.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_04: But do we call that a Chelsea boot?
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_04: I get I don't know.
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_04: What do you think?
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_06: I think it uh it's high.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_06: Adjacent, but I think it's almost it's a little low for a Chelsea boot.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_06: Kind of.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_06: I know.
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_06: But those are I don't think so.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_06: I think those are I mean, every you know, whatever.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_06: Everyone has I'm surprised you're in those, and I think that's kind of cool.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_06: I'm surprised you came here like that.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_07: I'm actually You know, it's quiet luxury.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_07: Yeah it's really quiet luxury.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_04: I grew up on the ice.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_04: What are you wearing underneath that?
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_04: I'm just wondering because I'm actually wearing um uh things.
- 1:07:41SPEAKER_04: I'm wearing something very a different vibe than everything else I'm wearing.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_04: I'm wearing a sort of almost like you know, life is good, the brand.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_04: Uh-huh.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_04: This is very life is good.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_04: That's like a color that like it.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_04: It's very like, oh, I'm wearing it at home.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_04: I'm home for the holidays, and I found it in my childhood drawer and I'm wearing it.
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_07: And it's like distressed with a river rock.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_07: Yes, exactly.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_07: Somehow.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_04: But it's from this brand or from this store in Maine that's like known for their t-shirts, and actually Sam and Misha also have them because they go to mail, of course.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they're farmers.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_07: I was wondering if you're gonna say nothing, and I was like, that's crazy.
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_07: If you were wearing nothing under that sweater, that would be crazy.
- 1:08:20SPEAKER_07: That's crazy.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_07: I do it sometimes, and it's like empowering, but I feel nuts.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_07: Hunt or punt.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_07: Nothing under a hoodie-less sweatshirt.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_06: That's serial killer status.
- 1:08:29SPEAKER_06: No, no.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_06: It's in like interneck?
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_06: Yeah, crew neck.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_06: That's like I do it.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_06: I'm staying inside and masturbating all day vibes.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_04: I agree.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_04: I think it's so hard.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_04: Hunt for me, I would never do it.
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_04: Kind of cunt if you can pull it off.
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_04: Because to me, I'm like, if I'm seeing like a little nipple outline.
- 1:08:47SPEAKER_04: It's a that must be a thin.
- 1:08:50SPEAKER_04: It's a wet sweatshirt.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's a wet sweatshirt.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:08:57SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_02: And then, you know, on the Zamboni.
- 1:09:01SPEAKER_06: Yeah, well, I was gonna say, is the ice, is the ice, the ice rink, is that contrapunt?
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_02: Ice rink.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_02: I'm saying punt.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_02: Punt.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_02: I don't think I can say because I'm I don't really have much of a relationship with it.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_02: I didn't grow up there.
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_02: I yeah, I don't really I don't even know what it's like to be there.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_02: To be on the ice?
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_02: Have you ever ice skated?
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_02: One time for like 10 minutes, but I hurt my arm.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_02: I like fell out.
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_02: Immediately.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_02: Immediately.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_02: Literally, like I got on there for one second and I fell down and I had to like leave.
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_02: I was crying.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_06: I think the ice I think you would think that it would be cunt because of like ice dancing, ice skaters, stuff like that.
- 1:09:39SPEAKER_06: But I actually think the majority of the ice world is like people who come to the ice rink like during the day just for like a fun afternoon, and then like sports, like hockey.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_06: It's very sport.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_07: My nephew plays hockey, and I never want to go because it's effing cold.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_07: That's like very huge punt for me.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_06: I think it is very I think it's family and it's chili.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_06: I think it's punt.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_06: It's punt.
- 1:09:59SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:09:59SPEAKER_07: Soft pretzel at the rink though?
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_06: That's that's very cut.
- 1:10:03SPEAKER_06: Salted or unsalted?
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_06: Salted.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_06: Yeah, unsalted is the biggest punt on earth.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_06: That's like a life, that's like a like a like an inflatable life raft, basically.
- 1:10:11SPEAKER_07: Mustard or no mustard.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_07: Mustard.
- 1:10:14SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:10:14SPEAKER_06: Mustard is cunt.
- 1:10:15SPEAKER_06: Mustard is ketchup.
- 1:10:18SPEAKER_03: Ketchup is punt.
- 1:10:18SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_03: I like ketchup.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_03: Ketchup is punt.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_03: Ketchup is punt.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_03: It's good, but it's not like good.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_02: You know what's so perfect?
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_02: You have to.
- 1:10:26SPEAKER_02: I used to do this in middle school and high school.
- 1:10:28SPEAKER_02: At lunch, we would get, if we had like pizza or some, you know, pizza Fridays or whatever, something like that.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_02: Like just a regular classic cheese slice of pizza, you put classic yellow mustard on it.
- 1:10:41SPEAKER_02: It is so good.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_02: Like we're both like tangy.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_02: And then like cheese tomato sauce.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_07: I feel like it's referencing a pretzel.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_07: Oh, it is.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_07: A little bit.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it is a little bit.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_02: So good.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_02: It's sampling a pretzel.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_07: Sampling a pretzel.
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_07: Interpolating a pretzel.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_07: You know what's punt?
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_07: Artists today sampling everything.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_06: It's like I feel like Nikki's album is punt.
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_06: Is punt because she's just really sampling stuff kind of for like no reason.
- 1:11:19SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:11:20SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:11:20SPEAKER_06: I know.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_06: It was kind of a huge punt for me, actually.
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_04: I haven't like a lot of things.
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_04: A little grow on me, but I agree.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_07: It's like can someone maybe focus on making an iconic beat for today?
- 1:11:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:11:29SPEAKER_04: I think someone should focus on making an iconic beat for today.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_04: For once.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_04: For once.
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_04: Today for once.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_04: We need to research that.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_04: I recently, this is actually kind of embarrassing.
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_04: I recently, by recently, I mean last week, found out that in your love, the opening thing is an Annie Lennox sample.
- 1:11:44SPEAKER_04: Like the dum bum bum bum Oh yeah.
- 1:11:48SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:11:48SPEAKER_04: I had no idea.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_04: I was like, that is a Nicki Minaj sample.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_04: And so I was watching actually something, a show that is set in the past, and that and that song came on, and I was like, yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:00SPEAKER_04: That's a Nicki Minaj song.
- 1:12:01SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:03SPEAKER_04: I'm trying to think of the Annie song.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_07: So funny.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_07: I'm trying to think of the Annie Lennox song, but yeah, it is.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_07: Okay, take it away, honey.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_04: But that sample is cunt.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_04: Your love is cunt.
- 1:12:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:12:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_07: I think sampling is cunt, but it's just been so overdone.
- 1:12:22SPEAKER_07: No, it's true.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_07: What we're doing.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_07: Beyonce did a great job.
- 1:12:24SPEAKER_07: Renaissance, I do, I think, was um a huge cunt for me.
- 1:12:27SPEAKER_07: Renaissance is cunt.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_07: And she sampled things in like a cool and correct way.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_07: But um, it's just being overdone.
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_07: And it's like, come on, get in the studio, make something.
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, samples are icon.
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_06: Sampling is fine.
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_06: Sampling is fine.
- 1:12:43SPEAKER_06: Reinterpreting is fine.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_06: But just like a straight up like this is the same song, but just now in 2023.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_06: I mean the blue dabad moment.
- 1:12:50SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_06: It's like, come on.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_06: Oh god.
- 1:12:52SPEAKER_07: There's another one.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_07: What is it?
- 1:12:55SPEAKER_07: Keep talking.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_07: It's like a gay guy's in a chicken coop, and we're just like, maybe they'll come like there needs to be like a graphic.
- 1:13:11SPEAKER_07: There needs to be a graphic of like Yeah.
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_06: Like a like a football hitting in the face.
- 1:13:17SPEAKER_06: Like, don't disturb them.
- 1:13:20SPEAKER_06: Well, are we out of time?
- 1:13:21SPEAKER_06: I think maybe are we out of time?
- 1:13:23SPEAKER_06: Are we good?
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_06: Uh final any any final cunty thoughts before we go?
- 1:13:27SPEAKER_02: Final cunty thoughts.
- 1:13:29SPEAKER_02: Final county thoughts.
- 1:13:30SPEAKER_02: Final county thoughts is I think that I think in 2024, which this will be released then in music, maybe we will find um a new beat.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_02: I'm really thinking about that now.
- 1:13:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:13:46SPEAKER_02: Here's two.
- 1:13:46SPEAKER_02: So there's gonna be like a new beat.
- 1:13:48SPEAKER_02: And then in five years it'll be It's fucking time for a new beat.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_02: There's gonna be a new beat that's like, whoa.
- 1:13:53SPEAKER_02: And Tate McCrae is gonna be the one.
- 1:13:55SPEAKER_02: She's gonna remember the new beat.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_04: A new Robin album.
