- 0:01Speaker 1: Smells the three of us all can agree on. Finally,
- 0:04Speaker 1: it's God. Maybe I don't know, but either way, what
- 0:08Speaker 1: is up everybody? This is obviously state of the Fridge.
- 0:09Speaker 1: You read a year here. Maybe you're not, and we
- 0:11Speaker 1: were just talking to each other, but the byes you're
- 0:13Speaker 1: hearing is me as man as beer and laws and
- 0:14Speaker 1: joining me as always Brandon J McDermott, and you've been
- 0:17Speaker 1: oh fucking off, fellas. This is how old we are
- 0:22Speaker 1: and how dad we are. We were actually showing physical
- 0:25Speaker 1: calendars of all of the shit that we have going on,
- 0:28Speaker 1: because it turns out spring is crazy. I thought winter
- 0:32Speaker 1: was nuts with basketball and everything going on, but spring
- 0:35Speaker 1: has really ramped itself up and we're done school in June,
- 0:39Speaker 1: and then it kind of dips off. When are you
- 0:41Speaker 1: guys done earlier or around the same time as us?
- 0:44Speaker 2: They end in May? May?
- 0:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we're the second week maybe third week
- 0:49Speaker 3: in May.
- 0:50Speaker 1: You guys are like almost in summer mode, which kind
- 0:53Speaker 1: of sucks even more as a parent, unless you well,
- 0:57Speaker 1: I guess it does suck even more when you have
- 0:58Speaker 1: a stay at home parent, because then they're there anyways
- 1:01Speaker 1: with them all. But if you don't have one that
- 1:03Speaker 1: stay at home. It sucks even more because well then
- 1:06Speaker 1: you got to pay a little Bi'll have more to
- 1:08Speaker 1: have somebody watch these little pricks, boy are they?
- 1:12Speaker 3: Yeah? And then you're going to start planning summer vacations.
- 1:16Speaker 3: They get the idea that they got to go somewhere extravagant,
- 1:18Speaker 3: and you start seeing any kind of money that you
- 1:21Speaker 3: saved up dwindle.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Now see, don't we don't do that? Nope, they're not.
- 1:26Speaker 1: That's not in our kids' brains because summer vacations for
- 1:28Speaker 1: us are, oh you have to go to this place
- 1:30Speaker 1: for a softball tournament. Oh you have to go here
- 1:33Speaker 1: for a basketball tournament. That's your vacation.
- 1:36Speaker 3: We have, wisely, and unfortunately my miss is on this kick.
- 1:41Speaker 3: We have to create memories and i'mike these tournaments, like
- 1:43Speaker 3: you said, r indeed memories as well and mandatory and
- 1:49Speaker 3: costs my app So why don't we just you know,
- 1:51Speaker 3: stick with these places. Unfortunately Branson three times a year
- 1:55Speaker 3: not in her playbook anymore. So, once again looking at floor,
- 2:00Speaker 3: but I am blessed with that that hotel discount, so
- 2:03Speaker 3: it does make things cheaper. But unfortunately drive everywhere.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that is not a plane family.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Oh, I would get on a plane in a heartbeat. Recently,
- 2:13Speaker 3: maybe not. It's I don't know, it's by the time
- 2:19Speaker 3: that you add up and like it's in godly expensive.
- 2:22Speaker 3: It seems like to fly and then you have to
- 2:24Speaker 3: rent a car because everywhere we stay is like thirty
- 2:26Speaker 3: miles away from the airport.
- 2:29Speaker 1: See your wife's like, oh, we got to make memories.
- 2:32Speaker 1: We gotta do all these vacations. Like, we didn't really
- 2:34Speaker 1: take vacations growing up, but I remember the ones that
- 2:37Speaker 1: we did. I don't really have any great memories left
- 2:39Speaker 1: of them. I'm not saying I got a bunch of
- 2:41Speaker 1: bad memories. But you guys, can you guys think back
- 2:43Speaker 1: to all of these trips potentially you did or didn't take,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and be like, oh, we built all these memories. I
- 2:48Speaker 1: think that's complete. I'm not trying to get in the
- 2:50Speaker 1: fight with your wife because she probably kicked my ass,
- 2:52Speaker 1: but I think that is just I don't think it's there.
- 2:55Speaker 1: I think it's short term memories and long term memories.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I think all they remember is, eh, they tried to
- 2:59Speaker 1: bring us in. They're and be like our parents brought
- 3:01Speaker 1: us to freakin' Branson. We had to drive and fight
- 3:03Speaker 1: with each other all the time, Like that's the sh
- 3:04Speaker 1: that they're gonna probably remember.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Well, it's it's hard for me to like say, all right, boy,
- 3:10Speaker 2: think back, what are your core memories? Right? But for me,
- 3:14Speaker 2: it's it's this, it's the alternative. And and I'm dealing
- 3:20Speaker 2: with the oldest child that's literally like me, who's very materialistic,
- 3:24Speaker 2: very what can you do for me? You know, like
- 3:27Speaker 2: as a kid, I was like that, I'm not materialistic now,
- 3:30Speaker 2: Like I don't like have a very nice car, I
- 3:32Speaker 2: don't need the nicest house. I have a pretty low
- 3:35Speaker 2: level of cost of living. But the alternative is I
- 3:40Speaker 2: don't want a child who I deal with that's every
- 3:42Speaker 2: time I leave, is like can you give me a toy?
- 3:44Speaker 2: When you go to the store, can you give me candy?
- 3:46Speaker 2: Like I've created that's my fault, so I can't blame
- 3:49Speaker 2: the child for that. But the alternative is, let's try
- 3:51Speaker 2: to create, you know, these memories that are long lasting,
- 3:55Speaker 2: because you never know when you're creating a core memory.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Last night, I was telling you about this record play,
- 3:59Speaker 2: about this record player, and I got a bunch of
- 4:00Speaker 2: records here. I got to turn on Van Halen on
- 4:03Speaker 2: vinyl for the first time. Blast that and scare the
- 4:05Speaker 2: out of her with the drums, right, and then have
- 4:08Speaker 2: her go from to like she's dancing and having a
- 4:10Speaker 2: good time, like that was a core memory and maybe
- 4:12Speaker 2: she won't remember it. Maybe it's just me. But I'm
- 4:15Speaker 2: with you, Matt, I mean, I'm with you, but like
- 4:17Speaker 2: also it's a The alternative is this little dad who
- 4:21Speaker 2: is going to grow up to be a gold digger,
- 4:23Speaker 2: and that's not what we want, you.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Know, Yeah, I mean once they grow up, then it's
- 4:27Speaker 1: somebody else's problem if they're a gold dig or something.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't care at that point, Like
- 4:32Speaker 1: whoever decides, you know, male, female or whatever people identify
- 4:36Speaker 1: in about ten to twenty years, that's going to be
- 4:38Speaker 1: their problem, not mine. But yeah, the vinyl addiction, careful.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I got that addiction a long time ago. And then
- 4:45Speaker 1: next thing, you know, I looked at my I looked
- 4:48Speaker 1: at my collection because there's a cool website that I use,
- 4:52Speaker 1: which I don't want to tell you because you will
- 4:53Speaker 1: get super addicted, but it does help you categorize. And
- 4:56Speaker 1: my value is almost twenty thousand dollars in nyl, so
- 5:00Speaker 1: I might have to start selling some vinyls to be
- 5:03Speaker 1: able to afford this new vehicle.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Should drop that drop that link in the chat.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I mean, I'll tell you right now. It's called disc ogs,
- 5:11Speaker 1: d I scogs. You can buy, you can sell CDs, cassettes, vinyl,
- 5:18Speaker 1: A lot of good sellers out there that are actual
- 5:19Speaker 1: stores and everything. Look for some deals. This is just
- 5:22Speaker 1: something if anybody out there like vinyl going there every
- 5:24Speaker 1: once in a while, it'll be like unlimited shipping. So
- 5:27Speaker 1: you can go in there and spend twenty five bucks
- 5:28Speaker 1: and get twenty to twenty five vinyl albums. But what
- 5:31Speaker 1: I love it's an app, and I'll show you kind
- 5:34Speaker 1: of what it looks like, so you can barcode or
- 5:36Speaker 1: you can check out your collection because right now I
- 5:39Speaker 1: have just under nine hundred vinyl albums and you can
- 5:45Speaker 1: categorize it. And then so what I started doing is
- 5:47Speaker 1: I'd be like, all right, what are we going to
- 5:49Speaker 1: play today? And then I would just randomly let this
- 5:51Speaker 1: pick for me. But I just love that way you
- 5:53Speaker 1: don't get duplicates and you can actually know what you have.
- 5:57Speaker 1: It's a cool app. Discogs.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Well, you know what I'm going to be doing the
- 6:03Speaker 2: next two.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Days, my bad. Uh sorry, but yeah, it's a it's
- 6:08Speaker 1: a it's a fun thing. And it's kind of like
- 6:11Speaker 1: you said, maybe building core memories. Like we've gone through
- 6:13Speaker 1: and you know, just gone vinyl shopping at some thrift
- 6:16Speaker 1: stores with a couple of the kids. Thankfully the wife
- 6:18Speaker 1: and kids love music as well, so but you know,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and then when they were younger, they wanted to start
- 6:23Speaker 1: getting into can you we buy Frozen soundtrack and all
- 6:26Speaker 1: of the and I'm like, I'll give you one, give
- 6:28Speaker 1: you one. We're not going on because those are full priced.
- 6:30Speaker 1: And now that vinyl kind of had a resurgence and
- 6:33Speaker 1: you can buy them at Walmart and shit all of
- 6:35Speaker 1: the price. Now it's kind of like, I guess, card collecting,
- 6:38Speaker 1: you know what I mean. They're overproduced, they're mass produced,
- 6:41Speaker 1: and they're overvalued, so they're gonna be worth jacks, you know.
- 6:47Speaker 2: So I have a bunch of old baseball cards, football cards,
- 6:49Speaker 2: and I started collecting when I was a young kid,
- 6:51Speaker 2: and and we were young kids in the late eighties
- 6:53Speaker 2: when they were mass produced. And I've got about seven
- 6:56Speaker 2: and I'm sure other people do. Ken Griffy Junior rookie
- 6:59Speaker 2: cards that are worth like a dollar fifty each. And
- 7:01Speaker 2: my favorite card is a Tom Glavin rookie card with
- 7:06Speaker 2: John Smoltz on the cover. So it's like a misprint.
- 7:10Speaker 2: It's got John Smoltz's face on the front and it
- 7:12Speaker 2: says Tom Glavin all of the stats and stuff. So anyway,
- 7:15Speaker 2: but yes, worth nothing.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what were you saying?
- 7:19Speaker 3: We, Oh, my son and I we end up finding
- 7:23Speaker 3: some of my cards that we had purchased like five
- 7:25Speaker 3: years ago, and it was a twenty twenty oh excuse me,
- 7:30Speaker 3: a box set that had like a rookie ceedee Lamb,
- 7:34Speaker 3: Rookie Tua. I think there was even some Rookie Burrow.
- 7:39Speaker 3: At least they were in the box. I don't know
- 7:40Speaker 3: if those word from the set or up. But so
- 7:42Speaker 3: I'm like, oh man, these are gonna be worth something.
- 7:45Speaker 3: I was like, there's some Jonathan Taylor in there. They
- 7:48Speaker 3: were all like two dollars apiece.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Remember when he played football?
- 7:52Speaker 3: I know. I was like he was a decent fantasy
- 7:54Speaker 3: running back.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Yeah he's number one for a year or two. Yeah,
- 7:58Speaker 1: that's that's one thing that I'm going I got some
- 8:00Speaker 1: buddies that are super into sports card collecting, like I was.
- 8:05Speaker 1: There was a guy that I worked with that spent
- 8:07Speaker 1: a pretty decent amount of money from what he told us,
- 8:10Speaker 1: and didn't get a lot of great things to try
- 8:13Speaker 1: to flip. Like I think when you go into it,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and this is just my opinion, when you try to
- 8:17Speaker 1: get into collecting cards, collecting vinyl or something just for
- 8:20Speaker 1: the money to try to reflip, I think that's when
- 8:23Speaker 1: it becomes a little more dangerous. Like if you have
- 8:25Speaker 1: the extra money and you're doing it just for the
- 8:27Speaker 1: pure fun of it to build a collection, then I
- 8:29Speaker 1: think you have a little more fun with it. But
- 8:31Speaker 1: like for me, like watching baseball now, you know, like
- 8:34Speaker 1: just the other day, the Pirates brought up a guy
- 8:36Speaker 1: and made us like their number three prospect. He was
- 8:39Speaker 1: making his debut and everything, and then you notice all
- 8:42Speaker 1: these little extra patches on his jersey and you know
- 8:45Speaker 1: that they're going to take them, put them into a
- 8:47Speaker 1: one of one card, you know what I mean, and
- 8:50Speaker 1: try to sell that just in case he becomes the
- 8:52Speaker 1: next Paul Schemes, which he's not. And I know, just
- 8:56Speaker 1: little details like that of the game is quite differently,
- 8:58Speaker 1: I think in the business and mark world, and it
- 9:00Speaker 1: was even when we grew up, like did you ever
- 9:02Speaker 1: stare at a jersey and be like, oh.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Look at that patch.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I wonder if I can get it in the jersey,
- 9:06Speaker 1: Eric Hard.
- 9:11Speaker 3: But I'm not gonna lie. I My internet cut out
- 9:15Speaker 3: about a half of what you said, so I'm gonna
- 9:18Speaker 3: just nod and just go hell yeah, man.
- 9:22Speaker 2: One of my favorite one of my fit to your point, Matt.
- 9:23Speaker 2: One of my favorite things to see is is the
- 9:25Speaker 2: memes that show, like the baseball or the football card
- 9:28Speaker 2: with the jersey and then you see like the postgame
- 9:31Speaker 2: hug of the bat player with the same jersey on
- 9:33Speaker 2: and you can see like a bloodstain on it or
- 9:35Speaker 2: something like. That's cool. You love to seeing shit like that. Yep.
- 9:38Speaker 1: And the jersey swaps are pretty cool between the players
- 9:41Speaker 1: and stuff like that. I was listening to somebody, Oh
- 9:43Speaker 1: is Saquon Barkley He he did the episodes of Hot
- 9:47Speaker 1: Ones the other day, And one of the questions that
- 9:49Speaker 1: came up is apparently Barry Sanders has been like really
- 9:52Speaker 1: close with him, sent him a jersey and like this
- 9:55Speaker 1: heartfelt message and stuff like that, and he, uh, Chris
- 9:59Speaker 1: Evans ended up had than him put together the ultimate
- 10:01Speaker 1: running back between like brain, physical speed, and all this stuff,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and it was I know, it's it's interesting how Chris
- 10:09Speaker 1: Evans is able to get all of these amazing interviews
- 10:12Speaker 1: and celebrities that want to come on there punish themselves
- 10:15Speaker 1: through this and do an interview, and and and he
- 10:18Speaker 1: gets some real and like it. I don't I love
- 10:20Speaker 1: that show. I would never want to do.
- 10:22Speaker 2: It, you know. I I find myself binging this show
- 10:27Speaker 2: about a year or two ago, you know, on YouTube,
- 10:29Speaker 2: just watching a bunch of them. Everybody says he's a
- 10:31Speaker 2: great interviewer as somebody who interviews a lot of people.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I mean, I don't think he's bad, but I don't
- 10:37Speaker 2: think he's great. You just get these people on and
- 10:40Speaker 2: like they're already like their their guard is down because
- 10:44Speaker 2: their focus is elsewhere, right, So it like it lends
- 10:48Speaker 2: itself to somewhat of a good interview anyway. And I mean,
- 10:52Speaker 2: I'm not trying to put the guy down. Don't get
- 10:54Speaker 2: me wrong. He's great at what he does and obviously
- 10:56Speaker 2: he's built something bigger than Oliver build. So I can't
- 10:58Speaker 2: say anything really, but but just not my favorite, not
- 11:01Speaker 2: my cup of tea when it comes to interviewers. But
- 11:03Speaker 2: got a great show. Though it's a fantastic show.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think it does a good job doing
- 11:07Speaker 1: deep dives on people, and I think he gets a
- 11:09Speaker 1: little extra bump. And what I personally like is that
- 11:11Speaker 1: he asked questions that you don't typically get in shows.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Like I watch a ton of podcasts and stuff like that,
- 11:17Speaker 1: and kind of you know what I mean, a lot
- 11:19Speaker 1: of them are the same old and as soon as
- 11:21Speaker 1: I start seeing basic, same old questions, that's when I'm like, cool. Next,
- 11:25Speaker 1: and he does, he finds some whether it's Tim or
- 11:27Speaker 1: his team, they find some that even the like celebrities
- 11:30Speaker 1: will be like, how the hell do you find that out?
- 11:33Speaker 1: Like that? That that part I find is pretty cool.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, definitely, and I would I would to
- 11:37Speaker 2: your point. Yes, it's the it's the pre the pre
- 11:41Speaker 2: uh written questions from the from the producers or whatnot
- 11:45Speaker 2: that really do deep dive. I mean those are good,
- 11:47Speaker 2: you know, so you know, not many people know about
- 11:50Speaker 2: the album that you released in nineteen seventy eight count
- 11:52Speaker 2: Us about you know, like that kind of thing.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yep, see, I like when when they get referred
- 11:58Speaker 3: to nard war like that's what Chris Evans usually gets
- 12:01Speaker 3: from his pr team because they're like, man, how are
- 12:03Speaker 3: you getting these questions? And I don't know if you
- 12:05Speaker 3: guys know who that is. He usually interviews musicians and
- 12:08Speaker 3: everything and comes out with these questions from like their youth,
- 12:12Speaker 3: and they're always like like only two people know about it,
- 12:16Speaker 3: and Who'll be like, yeah, I know, now three and
- 12:19Speaker 3: he just like that's you know, but I don't know
- 12:23Speaker 3: he I like the show. I don't watch it very much,
- 12:25Speaker 3: but they did put one of my tiktoks when TikTok
- 12:27Speaker 3: first started on their Instagram page, so always have a
- 12:31Speaker 3: special place for them, yep.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And for me too. It's I mean, you have to interview,
- 12:37Speaker 1: like if that's the show, you interview somebody eat chicken wings, Like,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you have to have a ton of different people on it. Obviously,
- 12:43Speaker 1: new people pretty much every episode. So if there's somebody
- 12:46Speaker 1: that I've never really heard of or I don't really
- 12:48Speaker 1: give it about, like, it's a hard pass for me.
- 12:51Speaker 1: But if it's like, you know, like Sae Kwon Barkley,
- 12:53Speaker 1: I'm like, uh, you know, I want to learn a
- 12:55Speaker 1: little bit more about him. So hearing some stories about
- 12:58Speaker 1: you know, and it's like, man, I want to hate
- 12:59Speaker 1: the dude. Because he's in Philly.
- 13:01Speaker 2: But he's a pretty good guy.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Like he's a good dude, and it's it's really hard
- 13:05Speaker 1: to hate on a guy like that, and you know,
- 13:07Speaker 1: hopefully they won their super Bowl and they suck for
- 13:09Speaker 1: the next lifetime of mine. But agreed, Like I mean,
- 13:14Speaker 1: like Jack Black, you get just naturally funny people on
- 13:17Speaker 1: shows like that too, and it's it's it really good
- 13:20Speaker 1: Paul Rudd. Yeah, and then every once in a while
- 13:22Speaker 1: you get somebody that you're like, I thought this guy,
- 13:24Speaker 1: you know, he was a cool actor or musician, and
- 13:27Speaker 1: then you're like, holy, this dude is like super funny.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, you can see like the uh, the the
- 13:33Speaker 3: human side of them, like there the normal side or whatever. Yeah,
- 13:37Speaker 3: and it's funny seeing when they start to struggle on
- 13:41Speaker 3: the scale. That's kind of what I like to look
- 13:42Speaker 3: at it. I'm like, how much of a wuss are you? Like,
- 13:45Speaker 3: let me let me see, are you cool? Are you cool?
- 13:47Speaker 3: And they start sweating, And then when they start insulting him,
- 13:50Speaker 3: like mid question, I lose it every single time he's like,
- 13:55Speaker 3: so how old were you? They're like I'm I'm sorry,
- 14:00Speaker 3: but man.
- 14:01Speaker 1: No, yeah, yeah, hell of a show. I love a show.
- 14:06Speaker 1: This is uh, this is I don't know, food related
- 14:09Speaker 1: and mixing some things up. Did you guys hear about
- 14:12Speaker 1: a floor duh woman that got arrested over a pringles can?
- 14:18Speaker 1: Did you guys hear this? So apparently a Florida woman,
- 14:21Speaker 1: this is from the New York Post, had been arrested
- 14:24Speaker 1: for a legendly slicing a random man's face open. Oh,
- 14:28Speaker 1: with a pringles can. She assaulted somebody. I thought she
- 14:31Speaker 1: The headline was very misleading. Yeah, apparently she took a
- 14:34Speaker 1: pringles can and sliced a random man's face open. Imagine
- 14:38Speaker 1: getting assaulted by a random Florida woman with a pringles can.
- 14:42Speaker 3: What flavor was the pringles can?
- 14:44Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good question. Do you think it's in there?
- 14:48Speaker 3: I mean sour cream and onion, right, that's pizza.
- 14:51Speaker 1: That's the assaltee mm, salt and vinegar. Um. Apparently he
- 15:00Speaker 1: allegedly called the man and then hit him in the
- 15:04Speaker 1: head and with a pringles can and then cut him.
- 15:07Speaker 1: The victim was left with a gaping wound around his eye.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Doesn't say see that that's something that that we would
- 15:14Speaker 1: have asked, like, what kind of pringles was it? It
- 15:16Speaker 1: doesn't it naturally just shows a original Pringles can in
- 15:22Speaker 1: the picture, but that seems to be a just stock image.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I can't imagine. Maybe it was og But who's who's
- 15:27Speaker 1: going in and buying some o G Pringles when you
- 15:31Speaker 1: have so many you are?
- 15:33Speaker 3: I like them all?
- 15:34Speaker 2: You know what?
- 15:34Speaker 3: I get the variety pack for the kid's lunches, and
- 15:38Speaker 3: so I asked with the sour cream and onion, that
- 15:40Speaker 3: scheddar in sour cream, top.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Tier, piz salt vennis.
- 15:45Speaker 3: I won't eat the salt and vinnies if they're there,
- 15:47Speaker 3: but not my usually go to and honestly, whenever I'm
- 15:50Speaker 3: at the dollar store sometimes lays stacks are cheaper than Pringles.
- 15:55Speaker 1: We go lay stacks and they're underrated.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Here's the deal or Pringles for me, Mouthfield crunch Pringles
- 16:05Speaker 2: are top tier, top three chip like for that, like,
- 16:08Speaker 2: I love it. When it comes to the seasoning, like,
- 16:12Speaker 2: there are like two or three that are really good,
- 16:13Speaker 2: you name them. Sour cimin onion, the cheddar ones are
- 16:15Speaker 2: the best ones. And yeah, but the pizza ones are decent.
- 16:18Speaker 2: There's none that are bad. Don't get me wrong, it's
- 16:20Speaker 2: just the I like a really good seasoned chip, and
- 16:22Speaker 2: I don't. They don't. Probably trying to save money. They
- 16:25Speaker 2: don't do it as well as they used to. But
- 16:26Speaker 2: it's not as not as great as like Dorito's. I don't.
- 16:29Speaker 2: I'm not that much of a fan of the corn chips.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I don't like the mouthfeel, the crunch of them as much.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I'll eat them, and I'll enjoy a whole fact. Don't
- 16:37Speaker 2: get me wrong, look at me. But if I have
- 16:39Speaker 2: to have a preference, it would be give me a
- 16:41Speaker 2: Pringles chip with the Dorito's seasing.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Oh a little cross. So I'm on, I'm on Pringles
- 16:47Speaker 1: dot com. I want you guys to guess what you
- 16:50Speaker 1: would think. Let's go with guess the lowest rated Pringles flavor.
- 16:54Speaker 1: On the Officialpringles dot com website. There's and then there's two, four, six, eight, ten, twelve, fourteen, sixteen,
- 17:02Speaker 1: eighteen twenty. They only have twenty on here.
- 17:05Speaker 2: It's not gonna be that, but I'm gonna say Sultan vinegar.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I'm gonna say it's probably the reduced fat or lightly
- 17:12Speaker 3: salted one.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Oh, those are both good guesses. But no, and this
- 17:17Speaker 1: is this is these are off the wall. I guess topping.
- 17:21Speaker 1: So maybe these are I didn't know this was a
- 17:23Speaker 1: Pringle flavor, to be honest with you, so maybe I
- 17:25Speaker 1: set you up for failure. But apparently Pringles Everything Bagel
- 17:29Speaker 1: crisps are the lowest rated trangles, followed by and this
- 17:35Speaker 1: fits in with Saquon Barkley and Philly the Philly Cheese
- 17:39Speaker 1: Steak crisps the two lowest. I try it, yeah, and
- 17:45Speaker 1: then there's like a carneitis taco that's pretty pretty bad.
- 17:49Speaker 1: But the most rated, with six hundred and seventy three
- 17:53Speaker 1: on the website is the original. He only came in
- 17:55Speaker 1: at a three seven three point seven, but highest rated.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Let's see, we got sober cream and onions a four
- 18:02Speaker 1: to four cheddar in sour creams a four to four.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Pringles ranch is a four to five.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Ooh, that is good.
- 18:10Speaker 1: But this one Pringles sorry in advance for pronouncing this
- 18:15Speaker 1: one wrong. Turns out I don't have a Latin tongue
- 18:17Speaker 1: or Spanish. Springles the las meras meras habaneras crisps four
- 18:22Speaker 1: point seven.
- 18:25Speaker 2: We're having that one, I think. Yeah. A lot of
- 18:29Speaker 2: the those newer flavors, those like mixed flavors or whatever
- 18:32Speaker 2: they have, they're like the scorch and cheddar like those
- 18:35Speaker 2: are just like, eh, not the greatest. But is there
- 18:39Speaker 2: is there any top top for me if I'm going
- 18:43Speaker 2: for a football weekend And let me describe this to you.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Can you get off on this. I wake up on
- 18:49Speaker 2: a Saturday morning and I go shopping, and I go
- 18:51Speaker 2: shopping for my my snacks on Saturday it's an Oscar
- 18:53Speaker 2: football day. If it's a NFL day for you, great,
- 18:56Speaker 2: that's fine. But what I'll do is I'll go and
- 18:58Speaker 2: I'll either get frozen pizzas, a bunch of stuff for
- 19:01Speaker 2: chili dogs, maybe stuff for burgers for the grill, and
- 19:04Speaker 2: then I'm going to get some sour cream dip and
- 19:07Speaker 2: some chips, chips and sour cream dip. To me, what
- 19:11Speaker 2: no matter the flavor, if it's if it's you know,
- 19:13Speaker 2: you know, dill ranch, doesn't matter. Crench onion like just
- 19:18Speaker 2: a sour cream dip. I could eat a whole fat
- 19:20Speaker 2: of sour cream.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Are you guys dipping that in? Even if it's not
- 19:26Speaker 1: even not a specific brand, is there a certain style
- 19:29Speaker 1: because there's only one style for.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Me, wavy ruffles, heavy ruffles. Give me that French onion though, baby,
- 19:37Speaker 3: that's what I like that French onion or sometimes they
- 19:41Speaker 3: even have I'll go to the if i'm getting it myself.
- 19:44Speaker 3: If I'm shopping by myself, I get oh, I get
- 19:46Speaker 3: fat with it. I do. Don't put me. If I'm
- 19:49Speaker 3: stony baloney in a freaking dip section, I'm dropping fifty bucks.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Probably bro I'm going over there. I'm looking at Dean's.
- 19:58Speaker 3: He's got cheddar and salt. So, he's got smoky bacon,
- 20:02Speaker 3: cheddar something.
- 20:03Speaker 2: He's got them all.
- 20:04Speaker 3: I'm going through. And then i'm looking. I'm like, oh,
- 20:06Speaker 3: even best choice, two for three. We'll compare which one's better.
- 20:10Speaker 3: All right, We're gonna get these ones too. And then
- 20:12Speaker 3: I'm getting all these different variety of chips. And the
- 20:16Speaker 3: family comes home. They're like, oh yeah, I swung by
- 20:18Speaker 3: the story again, and I'm like, which one you guys want?
- 20:21Speaker 3: We got them all?
- 20:23Speaker 2: We got them all, boys. I gotta tell you that
- 20:28Speaker 2: there there was a moment there where we all came
- 20:30Speaker 2: together and when we said ruffles that I've never felt
- 20:34Speaker 2: closer to anybody in my whole life. I want you
- 20:36Speaker 2: to know that there was this moment where like we connected.
- 20:38Speaker 2: It was like in one of those corn movies, you know,
- 20:40Speaker 2: what I was talking about.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I twitched a little.
- 20:42Speaker 2: It was like a where all three dudes are like
- 20:45Speaker 2: going at it and then they look up and they
- 20:47Speaker 2: like lock eyes and like, yeah, five, I'm just joking.
- 20:50Speaker 3: We all know that Ruffles is the superior wavy chip.
- 20:54Speaker 3: But but if I go to a party and everyone's like, hey,
- 20:57Speaker 3: you know, there's there's some snacks and everything on the table,
- 21:00Speaker 3: And am I gonna be upset if it's best choice
- 21:02Speaker 3: wavy and there's dip? No, am I gonna be upset
- 21:05Speaker 3: it's laze wavy? No? No, because there's chips in dip. Well,
- 21:10Speaker 3: I be excited that it's ruffless. Oh you bet your ass. Absolutely.
- 21:14Speaker 3: And if there's pepperoni and cheese and crackers on that
- 21:18Speaker 3: table as well, I may never leave releast until that
- 21:23Speaker 3: that food's gone.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Mm hmmmm. I'm gonna do you guys have or have
- 21:28Speaker 1: you had all dressed chips? Do they make it that
- 21:32Speaker 1: far over near you guys? I'm pretty sure it's like
- 21:33Speaker 1: a Canadian thing, but I'm not sure how americanized it is. Yes, no,
- 21:39Speaker 1: maybe I've had.
- 21:41Speaker 3: It once, I believe, But that is that where the
- 21:44Speaker 3: ketchup is too.
- 21:45Speaker 1: It's all it's like a whole bunch of different flavored
- 21:48Speaker 1: chips dressed or put into one Humpty dumpty ripple. All
- 21:53Speaker 1: dressed chips are the best chips that I think that
- 21:57Speaker 1: I could ever have. And then you you pair it
- 21:59Speaker 1: with some French onion dep Oh my god. So let's
- 22:05Speaker 1: see here. I was trying to see what the flavors
- 22:08Speaker 1: were in there. I know it's like a Sultan vinegar barbecue.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I think ketchup chip.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I'm seeing. So it says barbecue, Sultan vinegar,
- 22:19Speaker 3: and sour creamand onion into one perfectly delicious bite.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Yeah it's good, I'm telling you.
- 22:28Speaker 2: So.
- 22:28Speaker 1: And I know what. I'm pretty sure it's a Canadian thing.
- 22:31Speaker 1: But if you ever happened to see them trickle down
- 22:35Speaker 1: your way and you're in an aisle and you see it,
- 22:36Speaker 1: whether I know, Lays does them humpty dumpty ruffles. I'll
- 22:42Speaker 1: have the Canada bag price chap. You guys don't have
- 22:44Speaker 1: price choppers there?
- 22:45Speaker 2: You?
- 22:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we do, do you price price choppers? Got them? Yep?
- 22:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 22:50Speaker 1: That's well, I don't know that that's the grocery store
- 22:54Speaker 1: in my entire area. So I was like, that's probably
- 22:56Speaker 1: just something that that was near me that you don't
- 23:00Speaker 1: have because.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Leading advertisers for the Chiefs too.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Price Chopper, well christ Chopper has them at least
- 23:07Speaker 1: in this area.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Okay, So I think I remember where I tried these
- 23:12Speaker 3: two is we were gifted one of those boxes that
- 23:16Speaker 3: had every month that would send you food from a
- 23:19Speaker 3: different place, a different country, And so I believe we
- 23:24Speaker 3: had a small bag of those and they weren't bad.
- 23:28Speaker 3: But I don't they don't have them on the shelves
- 23:30Speaker 3: here unfortunately. But we do have Prish Choppers, but I
- 23:32Speaker 3: don't shop there, and you.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Guys are far enough away from well Canada that it
- 23:36Speaker 1: probably doesn't I'd be like, you guys probably aren't sipping
- 23:39Speaker 1: on some Tim Horton's coffee, So I mean.
- 23:42Speaker 3: No, But we do have pulled pork at our at
- 23:45Speaker 3: our games.
- 23:45Speaker 1: So pulled pork that's not a Canadian thing, isn't.
- 23:49Speaker 3: No, that's some saying so it's his regional thing. I
- 23:52Speaker 3: was like, that's why we don't. We may not get
- 23:54Speaker 3: the Canadian stuff, but we have pulled pork for for
- 23:56Speaker 3: breakfast at at our sporting events.
- 23:59Speaker 1: POUTI made its way at least to you guys, right.
- 24:03Speaker 3: They we have something similar, but it's it's I think
- 24:06Speaker 3: it's from Illinois. What it's called the horseshoe, which is similar.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Let me look at this up now because.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I think, yeah, because for anybody that might be listening
- 24:15Speaker 1: and doesn't know, the old poutine or putin depending on
- 24:17Speaker 1: how you say, it is fries, brown gravy, and cheese curd,
- 24:23Speaker 1: but they mix it up. There's a there's usually a
- 24:24Speaker 1: poutine festival. So if you guys are ever gonna come up,
- 24:27Speaker 1: I feel like that's the move. We go to Canada
- 24:29Speaker 1: if you're allowed, and you get yourself some go to
- 24:33Speaker 1: the poutine festival.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Ooh see, that's this one. It's this one doesn't have
- 24:39Speaker 3: like the brown gravy or whatever. But in Springfield, Illinois,
- 24:44Speaker 3: you put a slice of Texas toast, a hamburger patty
- 24:49Speaker 3: or any other choice of meat with French fries on
- 24:51Speaker 3: top and just absolutely covered in cheese sauce. So I
- 24:56Speaker 3: mean it's kind of similar, but it's but this is
- 24:59Speaker 3: open face. I had one of those and the.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Three ingredients and nearly thinking that hasn't come and it's
- 25:10Speaker 1: French fries.
- 25:13Speaker 3: But it was my tribe, it was it was delicious though,
- 25:17Speaker 3: by the way, honestly, I would rather have the horseshoe.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Give me the horseshoe. Now I'm gonna make that at home.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Now that's I'm not gonna idea. I'd rather have the
- 25:25Speaker 1: horseshoe as well.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I just remember that because they kept asking me.
- 25:28Speaker 3: They're like, hey, have you ever had a horseshoe? And
- 25:30Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, we throw washers, horseshoes, darts, whatever you know,
- 25:36Speaker 3: and I was like, weird lawn darts. But I was
- 25:38Speaker 3: like those I think those got kind of outlawed in
- 25:39Speaker 3: like the eighties. But see, yeh pokes put somebody's eye
- 25:44Speaker 3: out with one of those bad boys. I was like,
- 25:46Speaker 3: we're not we're not biased. We'll do anything. He's like, no,
- 25:48Speaker 3: it's food, and I was like I probably won't like it,
- 25:52Speaker 3: but I was like, just give me a chicken finger
- 25:54Speaker 3: or something. And then I saw it and I was like, oh,
- 25:59Speaker 3: this is going down. For some reason, I can't remember
- 26:02Speaker 3: if I did a hamburger or a chicken. I think
- 26:04Speaker 3: I tried one of each, and I want to say
- 26:06Speaker 3: the chicken was top tear like, it was delicious. That
- 26:10Speaker 3: cheese sauce borderline the consistency of semen, but would eat
- 26:16Speaker 3: it in public and make eye contact, especially with braining.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I gotta tell you, consistency and mouthfeel is is up
- 26:24Speaker 2: there with food. And I don't care how good it tastes.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I don't care how much pineapple juice you have been drinking.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Jared boy eat fresh. Oh oh. Anyway, so we were
- 26:37Speaker 1: talking snacks. I went to the first baby shower I've
- 26:41Speaker 1: ever been to. It was like one of them what
- 26:42Speaker 1: do they call him, Jack and Jill's or whatever where
- 26:45Speaker 1: the dudes go. And I don't know if you guys
- 26:47Speaker 1: have them your way as well, like a price chopper,
- 26:49Speaker 1: But apparently it was a thing. It was the wife's cousin,
- 26:51Speaker 1: great dude, and him and his wife are expecting their
- 26:54Speaker 1: first kid. So the whole family was like, Hey, we're
- 26:56Speaker 1: gonna get together for a little baby shower hang out.
- 26:59Speaker 1: They had a spread of all these like snack foods,
- 27:05Speaker 1: and I was in heaven, like I went hungry and
- 27:08Speaker 1: I left. I'm pretty sure I was like the garbage
- 27:12Speaker 1: disposal of the thing. They had honey mustard pretzel bites
- 27:17Speaker 1: and all these fancy pretzels. Remember the blue tin thing
- 27:21Speaker 1: that we brought up the sewing container. They had one
- 27:24Speaker 1: of those that was out there and there a little
- 27:26Speaker 1: of that. They had a jalapeno dip that was like
- 27:30Speaker 1: a sour cream style dip with jalapenos chopped up in it.
- 27:34Speaker 1: That was fantastic. Somebody who had the idea to mix
- 27:36Speaker 1: it with a little bit of some homemade blueberry jam
- 27:40Speaker 1: as well. There was just so many different kind of
- 27:42Speaker 1: crackers and I'm not talking to people, and there was
- 27:45Speaker 1: just so much good and I was like, you know what,
- 27:47Speaker 1: I think this could be the move. Just a friggin
- 27:52Speaker 1: buffet of snacks at any event. It should be mandatory,
- 27:56Speaker 1: because holy somebody made took pepperonis and made them into rows. Yeah,
- 28:03Speaker 1: that sounds so good.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I'm craving pepper and I'm just hungry. God, I should
- 28:07Speaker 3: I eat bys.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I'm literally lee. First of all, I didn't take my
- 28:11Speaker 2: morning my morning release yet, so I have to go
- 28:14Speaker 2: to the bathroom to do that after the show. But
- 28:15Speaker 2: once that occurs, I'm literally going to jump in the shower,
- 28:19Speaker 2: take a shower. I'm going to go to work. I'm
- 28:21Speaker 2: going to pre record a couple of hours tomorrow for
- 28:23Speaker 2: my show, and then I'm going to go to some
- 28:26Speaker 2: frandom restaurant, and god, I feel bad for those teenage
- 28:30Speaker 2: workers who are going to have to take this forty
- 28:31Speaker 2: dollars order everything on the value menu. Those poor kids.
- 28:39Speaker 1: That's a move. See we get to after the recording,
- 28:41Speaker 1: we are heading an hour and a half one way
- 28:43Speaker 1: to sit in a gym for some basketball, and I'm like,
- 28:47Speaker 1: but the best part is, I'm pretty sure we don't
- 28:49Speaker 1: drive through any major towns that would have food other
- 28:53Speaker 1: than like little gas station. So it's a drive there,
- 28:56Speaker 1: watch some ball, and drive home and maybe have some
- 29:00Speaker 1: in the crack pot before we leave.
- 29:01Speaker 3: So safety, I h I sent to you guys. Oh Brandon,
- 29:07Speaker 3: you know I didn't send it to you, but I
- 29:08Speaker 3: sent it to the body wrong group of the make
- 29:12Speaker 3: deals they had this week, Holy moly, let me see
- 29:16Speaker 3: if I I don't want to I don't want to
- 29:17Speaker 3: say it incorrectly. I took screenshots of this because my
- 29:21Speaker 3: mouth was watering, and I was sending this to everybody
- 29:23Speaker 3: at work.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Challenging pretty good point. They really were fantastic, so.
- 29:28Speaker 3: One of them, so we uh they did the twenty
- 29:32Speaker 3: piece McNugget. It was two for eight dollars, So you
- 29:36Speaker 3: have a forty piece McNugget for eight bucks.
- 29:38Speaker 1: That's that's pretty good.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Yeah boy, yeah boy. So that's what I went with
- 29:43Speaker 3: because everyone's like, I can't even eat forty nuggets. I'm like, yeah, well,
- 29:46Speaker 3: let's have a challenge. Let's see how many nuggets we
- 29:48Speaker 3: can eat. And I was like, I'm gonna test this out.
- 29:50Speaker 3: But I did. I did it shamefully, like in my car,
- 29:53Speaker 3: like I was just like secretly just in like I
- 29:55Speaker 3: like to eat by myself as well, just because it's
- 29:57Speaker 3: the only thirty minutes I get really of not have
- 29:59Speaker 3: to talk to people at work. So but I'm over
- 30:02Speaker 3: there just smashing these nuggets and they never give you
- 30:04Speaker 3: enough condiments. But I'm a child, and I like, ketchup.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I'm just going to town on those easily. I ate
- 30:10Speaker 3: thirty two nuggets, and I feel like I could have
- 30:12Speaker 3: finished the forty, but I got a phone call and
- 30:14Speaker 3: had to run into work, and once I got done
- 30:16Speaker 3: with the work, I came back ate the rest of
- 30:18Speaker 3: the nuggets.
- 30:20Speaker 2: I've because I've got children that never finish anything the
- 30:22Speaker 2: first time they try it. I reheated a lot of
- 30:25Speaker 2: food and air fryers, and one of the best reheated
- 30:29Speaker 2: fast food items. Ever is chicken McNuggets by the way,
- 30:32Speaker 2: they eat them well, so crispy and delicious.
- 30:36Speaker 3: They get so I like mine. They get a little darker,
- 30:38Speaker 3: and it's just something about it. It tastes so good
- 30:42Speaker 3: read it. And I'm a deviant too. Where if I'm
- 30:45Speaker 3: like if I just got done out of the shop,
- 30:48Speaker 3: I'm smelling like pepu la pew, and you know everyone's asleep.
- 30:51Speaker 3: I'm going to the fridge and I'm grabbing two of
- 30:53Speaker 3: those bad boys, absolutely cold, and I will smash those violently. Well,
- 30:57Speaker 3: I almost choke because it's so dry. Yes, am I
- 31:01Speaker 3: willing to go out like that? Yes?
- 31:06Speaker 2: Man?
- 31:07Speaker 1: Man from Missouri passes away at the age of thirty
- 31:12Speaker 1: six joking and two chicken McNuggets, so he thought, But
- 31:17Speaker 1: it was six.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Macdeath the uh? And you don't have to get the fries.
- 31:25Speaker 3: That's so usual? What fills you up? And I again,
- 31:26Speaker 3: I think their fries are kind of overrated. But the
- 31:31Speaker 3: other deal that they had too Brandon listen to this,
- 31:34Speaker 3: this one, I couldn't. I couldn't believe this. At least
- 31:37Speaker 3: it seemed like a good deal. You get two cheeseburgers,
- 31:40Speaker 3: two big max, a ten piece McNugget and two medium
- 31:45Speaker 3: fries fifteen dollars and fifty nine cents.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Ooh, I'd get that for the FAM.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Stand up and show us your erection.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Still enamored for the two for eight deal for the McNuggets,
- 32:03Speaker 2: Like that's wild eighty for dollars nuts?
- 32:06Speaker 3: And is it forty.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Forty forty for eight?
- 32:08Speaker 2: Still nuts?
- 32:10Speaker 1: So mad that all again? Which you could get for
- 32:12Speaker 1: twenty three dollars. You'd get forty nuggets, two Big Max,
- 32:16Speaker 1: two cheeseburgers, two medium fries.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Right, technically fifty nuggets with the twenty three dollars if
- 32:21Speaker 3: you got all of them, so you would get fifty
- 32:23Speaker 3: nuggets in total, two medium fries, two cheeseburgers, and two Big.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Max for twenty was it twenty three bucks?
- 32:31Speaker 3: Twenty three bucks?
- 32:32Speaker 1: Dude? At where I live, the price of beef is
- 32:35Speaker 1: like six dollars a pound. You could only get a
- 32:39Speaker 1: couple of pounds. You could probably get two pounds of burger,
- 32:42Speaker 1: twelve eggs, and a loaf of bread for twenty three bucks.
- 32:45Speaker 3: That's it. And that's why like sometimes I justify eating out.
- 32:48Speaker 3: And then like there's this big debate now too that
- 32:50Speaker 3: I've seen on TikTok in regards to say hypothic is
- 32:54Speaker 3: burger king worth it? Right? Because if you get a
- 32:57Speaker 3: King Junior meal or whether or the Big King or
- 32:59Speaker 3: whatever the hell it is, it's like sixteen dollars for fries,
- 33:03Speaker 3: burger and a drink large, right, So everyone's like, dang,
- 33:09Speaker 3: you can go to Texas Roadhouse get yourself a decent
- 33:13Speaker 3: burger from there, right, twelve ninety nine for fries and
- 33:17Speaker 3: a drink. So it's like, why would you not just
- 33:19Speaker 3: go and get a better quality get it to go? Though,
- 33:24Speaker 3: I will say my son wanted ribs from there and
- 33:27Speaker 3: now was absolutely obsessed with the ribs from Texas Roadhouse
- 33:31Speaker 3: and their kids meal for ribs is eleven ninety nine.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Oh my god, my meal is like a dollar more
- 33:40Speaker 3: than that. It's ridiculous, it is.
- 33:42Speaker 1: And I think we've talked about it enough and there
- 33:44Speaker 1: has to be somebody with a much bigger brain than
- 33:46Speaker 1: us that has done the maths. We almost need an
- 33:49Speaker 1: app and maybe this is the million dollar idea where
- 33:51Speaker 1: it's like, all right, we're going to go out to eat.
- 33:53Speaker 1: This is our options, and you just punch it in
- 33:55Speaker 1: and it would tell you like, all right, well if
- 33:57Speaker 1: you're going to go here, you're probably gonna spend this
- 33:59Speaker 1: for But if you want to buy this this, and
- 34:01Speaker 1: if it's around the same, go support another business or there,
- 34:04Speaker 1: and you don't have to cook and clean and stuff.
- 34:06Speaker 1: There's not an app. I feel like that is the
- 34:09Speaker 1: move right there, like a comparison, because I mean I
- 34:11Speaker 1: just went last night. I was like, shit, we don't
- 34:13Speaker 1: have eggs, we didn't have bread, and the kids it's
- 34:18Speaker 1: Sunday at the time of the recording, they love pancakes
- 34:20Speaker 1: or waffles, so it was pancake mix was like four bucks,
- 34:23Speaker 1: bread was like three or four bucks, and eggs was
- 34:26Speaker 1: like four fifty. So I mean it was like fourteen
- 34:28Speaker 1: fifteen bucks for a loaf of bread, eggs, and friggin
- 34:33Speaker 1: pancake mix. Because I'm like, oh, we'll just make them homemade.
- 34:36Speaker 1: They like it for they like frigging cheap pancake mix
- 34:40Speaker 1: better than the friggin making them homemade. I'm like, it's
- 34:42Speaker 1: essentially the same goddamn thing. It just doesn't taste right.
- 34:45Speaker 3: That's it. My kids are the same thing. And yet
- 34:47Speaker 3: they still have me add extra like cinnamon to like
- 34:50Speaker 3: the basic ones. And I'm like, I can see we
- 34:53Speaker 3: have the ingredients to make this here, No can't. We can't.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Lets we see an actual box of it now. I
- 35:00Speaker 3: can't complain though, because there's a special syrup that I
- 35:02Speaker 3: like with my pancakes or waffles, and that is butter
- 35:05Speaker 3: pecan syrup. That is the top tier syrup. It is
- 35:08Speaker 3: not my baby gravy, though I will destroy some biscuits
- 35:11Speaker 3: and gravy.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I'm I'm not a maple syrup
- 35:15Speaker 1: snob or anything but home mee or not homemade, but
- 35:18Speaker 1: like locally made syrup is unbelievable, and the wife's family
- 35:23Speaker 1: makes it. God damn is that shit good?
- 35:26Speaker 3: Dude. But you guys are like straight from the teat.
- 35:29Speaker 3: You guys can go right to can. Just suck on
- 35:32Speaker 3: that right.
- 35:32Speaker 2: There, hammer and hammer and trees in your backyard with
- 35:36Speaker 2: a little little bucket. So it's funny you guys bring
- 35:40Speaker 2: this up, because do you know what I made yesterday
- 35:42Speaker 2: for dinner for the family. I went to the store
- 35:46Speaker 2: and bought a loaf of the everybody seated pepper farm
- 35:51Speaker 2: or something cinnamon bread. All right, they have a bunch
- 35:54Speaker 2: of different types. I bought the French toast kind.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Uh. See, we call it freedom toast in our parts.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Oh, I could see why, especially with where you're at.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Just kidding, We're not Alabama rot.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I'm kidding. So I bought that. I took it home,
- 36:09Speaker 2: and I thought to myself, Oh, I bought peanut butter,
- 36:14Speaker 2: I bought nutella, and I bought cherry preserves. And I
- 36:19Speaker 2: didn't put all of it in the same but I
- 36:21Speaker 2: said to the kids and my wife, I said, what
- 36:22Speaker 2: do you want? You want the oca. So then I
- 36:25Speaker 2: made a peanut butter sandwich with this french toast stuff.
- 36:27Speaker 2: It was either peanut butter and nutella, peanut butter and
- 36:30Speaker 2: cherry peanut butter and cherry cherry bytes or whatever. And
- 36:34Speaker 2: then I made a sandwich and then I, you know,
- 36:37Speaker 2: made sure that like this cherry was in the middle
- 36:39Speaker 2: so it wasn't going to come out the sides, and
- 36:41Speaker 2: then egg washed the whole sandwich and then made into
- 36:44Speaker 2: stuffed french toast with syrup on top. Run And it
- 36:47Speaker 2: was good. It was. It was so good, dude. It
- 36:50Speaker 2: was good.
- 36:51Speaker 3: That sounds nice, erect, that sounds delicious.
- 36:55Speaker 2: It was off brand nutella too, so it wasn't even
- 36:57Speaker 2: like the expensive, expensive.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Stuff you're monte Cristo sandwich. That is like my go
- 37:04Speaker 1: to at a if a diner can pull off a
- 37:06Speaker 1: Monte Cristo for like five bucks with chips or fries.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Oh shit.
- 37:11Speaker 2: The only thing I don't like in Amni Crysto that
- 37:13Speaker 2: I've seen one person do. That kind of throws it
- 37:16Speaker 2: off for me. With the syrup is mayonnaise. I can't
- 37:18Speaker 2: do mayonnaise and syrup together. But the cheese, the meat,
- 37:21Speaker 2: oh yeah, that's good stuff.
- 37:23Speaker 3: See I have to disagree. I've tried it, but again
- 37:27Speaker 3: my palate it's I'm not a good judge. So I
- 37:31Speaker 3: tried it one time. I looked at it in a menu. Brandon,
- 37:34Speaker 3: you probably have a Cheddar's near you. Yeah, so they
- 37:38Speaker 3: have a Monti Crisco sandwich there and they have it
- 37:40Speaker 3: with powdered sugar on top and everything, and I got it.
- 37:44Speaker 3: It was so sweet and not savory. I guess I
- 37:48Speaker 3: don't know what the term I'm looking for here, but
- 37:49Speaker 3: it just I didn't like the combo together at all.
- 37:52Speaker 3: I just I absolutely didn't. I hated it.
- 37:54Speaker 2: I've had bad ones. So like I'm with you on that,
- 37:57Speaker 2: Like it's it's one of those things like where it's
- 38:00Speaker 2: well it's done really well, and if it's done bad,
- 38:02Speaker 2: it's it's it's bad that There was another food I
- 38:05Speaker 2: was talking to my wife about this. It's it's similar
- 38:07Speaker 2: to that. I can't think I've got my head. But
- 38:09Speaker 2: another one that is like that too is eggs benedict
- 38:13Speaker 2: when when done well, the hoe the hell they can
- 38:16Speaker 2: hold a beshamel? Is that the the yolk sauce whatever
- 38:19Speaker 2: it is, oh so good, like I would literally and
- 38:26Speaker 2: it's how good it is, dude, it's fucking it's it's amazing.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I feel like that's not one you try to take
- 38:30Speaker 1: a chance out at a cheap diner. No, I think
- 38:33Speaker 1: it's got to be an upscale place.
- 38:35Speaker 3: I am uh.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Was the word I was thinking.
- 38:39Speaker 3: I am not a uh an egg person, as I've
- 38:43Speaker 3: said before, but I'm looking at these and you know what,
- 38:47Speaker 3: still not an egg person that looks like ass. I
- 38:52Speaker 3: don't know the egg on top of it. It just
- 38:55Speaker 3: the consistency of eggs, I don't know what it is,
- 38:58Speaker 3: and just the smell of them as well. No, thank you.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I mean if I almost potentially died multiple times and
- 39:05Speaker 1: lost an eye because of chickens, I probably would not
- 39:08Speaker 1: be an egg person. As well.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Yes, I can understand that. But what I will say
- 39:11Speaker 2: is this is to a man who I know because
- 39:14Speaker 2: I've done it too, has opened up a goddamn can
- 39:17Speaker 2: of beef ravioli or beef and noodles. Here we go,
- 39:20Speaker 2: spooned it right in. Tell me about the smell, oh
- 39:26Speaker 2: I will.
- 39:27Speaker 3: I'm actually hoping that there's a can of Veena sasages
- 39:29Speaker 3: in my lazy susan right.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Now, because before you take a bite and tell me that.
- 39:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna send you a video of me just deep
- 39:35Speaker 3: throat in the hell or these little baby things gros.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Just you know, I'm not even gonna chew, just a
- 39:41Speaker 3: straight swallow on these bad boys without the slime. I
- 39:45Speaker 3: will wash that shit off.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I'm not a heathen.
- 39:48Speaker 3: But whenever you were talking about You're like, hey, guess
- 39:50Speaker 3: what I had for dinner last night? I wanted to
- 39:51Speaker 3: be like, not spaghetti, I is. I guarantee that you criminal.
- 39:55Speaker 3: I really just a good grilled cheese sandwich, maybe with
- 39:58Speaker 3: some bacon in there. Dip it in, dip it into
- 40:02Speaker 3: some spaghetti and francs dirty to me.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Dip it into some dippy eggs bro egg yolk. Oh man,
- 40:12Speaker 2: Eggy is delergeious.
- 40:13Speaker 1: We got one kid that is obsessed with dippy eggs,
- 40:16Speaker 1: just a little bit of toast, and I'll tell you what.
- 40:20Speaker 1: The wife makes the best eggs, And god damn did
- 40:25Speaker 1: we I'm gonna let's educate you guys real quick. We
- 40:28Speaker 1: were talking about syrup. Do you know how many gallons
- 40:30Speaker 1: of sap is needed to make one gallon of syrup?
- 40:35Speaker 3: Hold on, ask the question again. I kind of spaced out,
- 40:37Speaker 3: So how.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Many gallons the tree giggity it out comes the sap
- 40:42Speaker 1: that you don't have to take the sap and boil it.
- 40:44Speaker 1: How many gallons of sap roughly does it take to
- 40:47Speaker 1: make one gallon of syrup that you put on your pancakes?
- 40:50Speaker 3: Gotcha? Gotcha?
- 40:50Speaker 1: Got you?
- 40:50Speaker 3: I'm gonna say it's uh.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Thirty three, good guess forty. So when you're making you
- 40:59Speaker 1: got to get already frigging gallons of sap just to
- 41:02Speaker 1: make it. And up here, obviously tons of maple trees
- 41:04Speaker 1: and everything, people have like these elaborate systems where all
- 41:08Speaker 1: of these trees are tapped with tubes that run right
- 41:10Speaker 1: into you know, the evaporator or it goes into even
- 41:14Speaker 1: like milk trucks and then they pull it from there.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I mean it is. There's some people that make a
- 41:19Speaker 1: buco amount of money on this friggin syrup business. I
- 41:22Speaker 1: tried one time, meeting a couple of buddies. We spent
- 41:24Speaker 1: all this time. We made up this frigging evaporator set
- 41:28Speaker 1: up and this and that, and I swear we worked
- 41:31Speaker 1: our ass off. Mostly we got really really drunk for
- 41:34Speaker 1: like a week maybe two, and we barely came up
- 41:37Speaker 1: with a get in the syrup. It was a lot
- 41:42Speaker 1: of drinking for pretty much nothing. And I think it
- 41:45Speaker 1: was like a one and done. There was two guys
- 41:47Speaker 1: that put in a ton of work. I was just
- 41:49Speaker 1: like an in and out, like Hey, we're gonna hang
- 41:51Speaker 1: out and then go and then get drunk and then go.
- 41:53Speaker 1: And I'm like, I just buy you guys fucking galling
- 41:55Speaker 1: the syrup at this point.
- 41:58Speaker 3: If it's if it's not utter, pecan get it away
- 42:02Speaker 3: from me.
- 42:02Speaker 1: I've never once seen or used or tried. I'm sorry.
- 42:09Speaker 3: It's like being baptized, you know, it's like you're being
- 42:12Speaker 3: born again. Like it's uh, you need to you need
- 42:15Speaker 3: to experience a good waffle, just or a short stack
- 42:20Speaker 3: and just drizzle that bad boy in that sweet butter
- 42:23Speaker 3: pecan syrup. I'm telling you, Oh, I get genuinely frustrated
- 42:27Speaker 3: whenever I go to our local supermarket and they do
- 42:31Speaker 3: not have that's, sir, because it's the only place I
- 42:33Speaker 3: can find it. And every time that they're out of it,
- 42:35Speaker 3: I borderline when I knock shelves over because it's just
- 42:38Speaker 3: Pete puts me in a fit of rage. God so delicious.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:43Speaker 1: I googled it here and usually know how when you
- 42:44Speaker 1: google something and it'll tell you like, hey, you know
- 42:47Speaker 1: by here Instacart, there's nothing that pops up.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Shame hold on, there's.
- 42:52Speaker 1: An I hop brand that apparently is on Walmart that
- 42:55Speaker 1: I could have delivered.
- 42:56Speaker 3: There's like a log cabin one that I remember that's where,
- 42:59Speaker 3: Oh there is a one.
- 43:00Speaker 2: What's this log?
- 43:01Speaker 3: There's a not gonna look it up.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, this is all I'm seeing is that
- 43:05Speaker 1: in a Michelle Foods. So I mean, maybe that's maybe
- 43:11Speaker 1: that's the thing out your way, not not in these parts.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Not in these parts. We don't need some pecans or
- 43:16Speaker 1: puncons or pecans and our syrup.
- 43:20Speaker 3: There's butter ridge. Maybe it's not the log Gammon it's
- 43:23Speaker 3: next to the log ambon. I just remember seeing it.
- 43:25Speaker 3: That's I don't even know what I'm gonna take a
- 43:27Speaker 3: picture of it. I'll send it to you because you
- 43:28Speaker 3: were missing out. I will send you a bottle of
- 43:30Speaker 3: both of you boys just to try it, and then
- 43:33Speaker 3: you guys are gonna come over to me, like, got
- 43:36Speaker 3: any more of that syrup? But I'm like, how much
- 43:38Speaker 3: money you got, because I'm gonna get you boys hooked?
- 43:40Speaker 2: What do you think about blueberry syrup?
- 43:44Speaker 1: Never had it? I don't. I've just had I've had
- 43:48Speaker 1: imitation syrup and syrup right from the trees.
- 43:51Speaker 2: So it's delicious and you can you can usually buy
- 43:54Speaker 2: stuff you can't usually buy, like the you know Aunt
- 43:58Speaker 2: Jemima's or something. You know, they don't have it that way,
- 44:01Speaker 2: but you have to buy like the higher end stuff.
- 44:02Speaker 2: But blueberry works well as an artificial flavor for syrup.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I just found out within the last week that I
- 44:09Speaker 1: actually enjoy eating blueberries. So I'm forty years old. I
- 44:14Speaker 1: tried a blueberry for the first time and I was like,
- 44:16Speaker 1: oh shit, these aren't bad.
- 44:19Speaker 3: It's weird because I found out that I actually enjoyed
- 44:22Speaker 3: watching you eat blueberries.
- 44:24Speaker 1: So that was so. Yeah, it's a win win for everybody.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Really, I haven't had blueberry syrup, but you did remind
- 44:32Speaker 3: me of this was pretty recent. I can't remember how
- 44:34Speaker 3: within the last two years. Have you ever had the
- 44:37Speaker 3: Captain Crunch blue maple syrup.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I did buy it once I tried.
- 44:43Speaker 2: It gross or that Fred Flintstone pink syrup they had.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Oh okay, hold on. The blue syrup actually wasn't mad
- 44:50Speaker 3: because it.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Was the one wasn't terrible. I thought it was going
- 44:52Speaker 1: to be like unreal, like way super super sugary because
- 44:55Speaker 1: it already a little bit. It wasn't bad.
- 44:56Speaker 3: But yeah, it was an emergency. I would I would
- 45:00Speaker 3: with some blue Captain Crunch, but again we're biased because
- 45:03Speaker 3: we think that's the ultimate cereal.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Too.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Is the peanut butter. Now, if if they came out
- 45:08Speaker 3: with a jar of peanut butter, Captain Crunch, peanut butter, like.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Just the po o or peanut butter syrup, because the
- 45:16Speaker 1: kid loves putting peanut butter on pancakes, So why not
- 45:19Speaker 1: have a peanut butter style. I mean maybe the pecan
- 45:22Speaker 1: is the closest thing, right, I mean, that's still a nut.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I'm looking this up. There's never been a thing peanut butter,
- 45:30Speaker 1: Captain crunch, peanut butter.
- 45:34Speaker 3: Surely because I mean Reese's peanut butter, does it? Peter
- 45:37Speaker 3: Pan is spreading his little child peanut butter.
- 45:43Speaker 1: It just comes up. Cereal ooh, I never thought of
- 45:47Speaker 1: this until right there, crunchy peanut butter like Rice Crispy treats,
- 45:51Speaker 1: but with captain crunch, peanut butter Captain crunch.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Did you ever have the peanut butter captain crunch Cereal.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Bar mm hmm. Okay, Well, we've came up with some inventions,
- 46:05Speaker 1: not only for some companies. We got an app we
- 46:07Speaker 1: got to work on. We've got some work to do,
- 46:09Speaker 1: and I know Brandon's got to go do some work
- 46:11Speaker 1: and you know, get some get some teenage employees. Super
- 46:15Speaker 1: busy on here, and I know I got to hit
- 46:18Speaker 1: hit the road and you've Bean's got to eight million things.
- 46:20Speaker 1: We're busy people. We'll show you our calendars down the
- 46:23Speaker 1: Patreon that doesn't exist, so head on over there.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Can I say something?
- 46:27Speaker 1: Yeah? Absolutely, I didn't want to hijack the.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Show, but you've been said something earlier that really piqued
- 46:31Speaker 2: my interest, and I had to look it up. So
- 46:33Speaker 2: I asked my good friend chat GPT, did you know
- 46:37Speaker 2: that you have a one and eleven million odds of
- 46:41Speaker 2: dying in an airplane crash? Wow, that's a commercial airplane crash.
- 46:46Speaker 2: So'll just say it's some big ones, not your uncle
- 46:48Speaker 2: Jerry's joh. But in a car, do you guys want
- 46:53Speaker 2: to guess the odds you have of dying in a
- 46:55Speaker 2: car crash?
- 46:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna say one in thirty six thousand.
- 47:00Speaker 2: One in ninety three lifetime odds of dying in a
- 47:02Speaker 2: motor vehicle crash, according to a national one in ninety three.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I feel like I've already survived three that I should
- 47:10Speaker 1: have died in. So I think I met my quote.
- 47:12Speaker 1: I think I'm good from here in the wild. Now
- 47:15Speaker 1: just die not me.
- 47:16Speaker 2: Out of one hundred people, one of them is likely
- 47:19Speaker 2: to die in a car crash in their lifetime at
- 47:21Speaker 2: some point. That's nuts.
- 47:23Speaker 3: That is I hope it is me alone.
- 47:26Speaker 2: So you don't want that those final moments are gonna
- 47:28Speaker 2: be awful. Creed playing in the background, last out.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Now with you Ben, it's nickelback. We already know that.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's gonna be the worst one too, And
- 47:40Speaker 3: it's just gonna be like sex is always the answer.
- 47:43Speaker 3: It's never a question. I'm like, oh yeah, going out
- 47:45Speaker 3: with this bucket banger you're.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Gonna give Look at this photograph a whole new meeting
- 47:50Speaker 2: cops showing the creep crime scene photos of each.
- 47:52Speaker 3: Other reminded me on gore dot com throwbag.
