- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's get back to the Mark Simone Show on WR Hey,
- 0:08Speaker 1: we got a lot to talk about today, lots to
- 0:10Speaker 1: get to the Clinton's and hasn't started yet. They're in
- 0:15Speaker 1: the committee that's investigating the Epstein stuff. They're in Chappaqua
- 0:20Speaker 1: and they're gonna interview the Clintons in Chappaqua. They're really
- 0:23Speaker 1: accommodating these Clintons. You know, normally you got to go
- 0:25Speaker 1: to Washington and you got to testify right there in
- 0:28Speaker 1: the big hearing. Remember even Michael Corleone had to go
- 0:31Speaker 1: to Washington and sit in that room. But they're all
- 0:35Speaker 1: flown up to Chappaqua. They're not even going to Clinton's house.
- 0:39Speaker 1: They've rented the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center where they'll do
- 0:45Speaker 1: the deposition of Hillary today, I mean tomorrow, they'll do
- 0:48Speaker 1: Bill Clinton. This should starting a little while. I imagine it
- 0:52Speaker 1: being over by I don't know, one o'clock and then
- 0:54Speaker 1: they're going to hold a press conference and let you
- 0:57Speaker 1: know what happened. They are recording it. They will be video.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I don't know if we'll get to see it, but
- 1:01Speaker 1: probably they'll release clips of it. She's gonna say she
- 1:05Speaker 1: didn't know Epstein, she'd never met she doesn't know if
- 1:07Speaker 1: she met him, which is probably a mistake. They'll come
- 1:12Speaker 1: up with tons of evidence that she did know, so
- 1:15Speaker 1: we'll keep you posted on that. You know, they do
- 1:18Speaker 1: the White House Correspondence Dinner every year. That's always been
- 1:21Speaker 1: a big event for years. Every president comes the White
- 1:25Speaker 1: House Correspondence Dinner. It's like they call it the nerd
- 1:27Speaker 1: prom every every newsperson, fake news, this is their big dinner.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It's in the big enormous hotel ballroom with these big tables,
- 1:38Speaker 1: and MSNBC has a table, and CNN has a couple tables,
- 1:42Speaker 1: and all those of talking heads you see on TV,
- 1:45Speaker 1: all the fake news anchors, they're all there. And for
- 1:49Speaker 1: years it'd be some gentle ribbing of the president, you know,
- 1:52Speaker 1: they gently rib Clinton or Busher, but sometimes it would
- 1:56Speaker 1: get out of hand. You remember one year. They could
- 1:59Speaker 1: always have a commedie as the big guest star, a
- 2:03Speaker 1: big comedian, and when it was Jay Leno, he would
- 2:05Speaker 1: do handle it perfectly, jokes on both sides of the aisle,
- 2:10Speaker 1: just fun funny jokes. And then sometimes it would get
- 2:13Speaker 1: a little little I remember one year was Imus and
- 2:16Speaker 1: he went after Clinton a little too hard and they
- 2:19Speaker 1: got all upset. And then when it was George W. Bush,
- 2:23Speaker 1: they didn't like him, and they'd always get a comedian
- 2:26Speaker 1: it would go after him. But Bush was pretty funny
- 2:28Speaker 1: and he would do a pretty funny response. And then Obama,
- 2:33Speaker 1: of course gentle ribbing, and Biden they barely made fun
- 2:39Speaker 1: of him. And then Donald Trump comes along and they
- 2:42Speaker 1: just they're going to take the gloves off and really,
- 2:44Speaker 1: really really go after him. So he just and he
- 2:47Speaker 1: knew that he didn't come to the dinner. He stopped coming,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and it brought down sales. One of the reasons these
- 2:55Speaker 1: big news organizations get a table at the White House
- 2:57Speaker 1: Correspondence Dinner is to bring their advertise. It's a big
- 3:00Speaker 1: thing for your sponsors, your advertisers, because they'll get to
- 3:03Speaker 1: meet everybody in television and all of that. But guess
- 3:08Speaker 1: what this year, Trump's not going to come. Guess guess
- 3:11Speaker 1: who the big comedian is this year nobody, this first
- 3:15Speaker 1: year ever, no comedian. The big entertainment will be the mentalist,
- 3:21Speaker 1: Oz Pearlman. The hell is Oz Pearlman. I know the name.
- 3:27Speaker 1: He's a mentalist, and I don't know what that moulden.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I mean, you talk about a major dinner, three thousand
- 3:33Speaker 1: people in a ballroom, and you're going to watch this
- 3:35Speaker 1: guy do what card tricks or something. I don't know,
- 3:39Speaker 1: but that's going to be. That's going to be a president.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Trump will not come to it. Hey, one reason he
- 3:45Speaker 1: ran for president was this White House Correspondence dinner. He
- 3:49Speaker 1: went one year Obama was president. I guess it was
- 3:52Speaker 1: twenty fourteen, and it was actually my friend Lollly Weymouth
- 3:57Speaker 1: who invited him to come sit at her table to
- 3:59Speaker 1: watch post table. And he went down to Washington first
- 4:03Speaker 1: time he went to the White House Correspondent and he
- 4:05Speaker 1: was sitting there and I guess Obama knew he would
- 4:07Speaker 1: be there. And Obama really went after him. And it
- 4:11Speaker 1: was ugly. It was too nasty. And if you watch
- 4:14Speaker 1: the video, you can see Trump not liking this. I mean,
- 4:19Speaker 1: he loves to be the center of attention, but this
- 4:22Speaker 1: was too much, way too much. He didn't like it.
- 4:25Speaker 1: He got mad, he got angry, and everybody close to
- 4:28Speaker 1: him said, when he got back from Washington that Monday,
- 4:32Speaker 1: everything had changed. Everything had changed. He looked at Obama
- 4:37Speaker 1: and he knew he was going to go after this
- 4:39Speaker 1: guy now and run. He couldn't stand these politicians, and
- 4:43Speaker 1: that's where he decided he would run for president. He
- 4:45Speaker 1: they're toyed with it all his life, but that's where
- 4:48Speaker 1: he decided to run. So you know about this Vince
- 4:51Speaker 1: McMahon story. Vince McMahon, what is it called now WWE wrestling.
- 4:58Speaker 1: A nice guy, this Vince McMahon. He's a call orful guy.
- 5:01Speaker 1: He's you don't realize how old he is. He's eighty
- 5:03Speaker 1: now eighty years old. So he's got a Bentley. It's
- 5:08Speaker 1: like a gold Bentley. Now he lives in Connecticut. You'll
- 5:12Speaker 1: never see a Bentley in Connecticut. You'll never see a
- 5:14Speaker 1: gold Bentley in Connecticut. If you go to Long Island,
- 5:17Speaker 1: you'll see a Rolls Royce of Bentley in every other
- 5:19Speaker 1: space in the parking lot at the Americana. Everybody in
- 5:23Speaker 1: a Bentley. They'll roll down the window and say to you,
- 5:25Speaker 1: how are you? But in Connecticut there's no Bentley's except
- 5:28Speaker 1: for Vince McMahon. So the Merrit Parkway is like an old, sleepy,
- 5:34Speaker 1: old parkway. It's not like ninety five, you know, twelve
- 5:38Speaker 1: lanes and trucks. It's the Merritt Parkway, which is very
- 5:41Speaker 1: scenic and it's it's a quiet parkway until Vince McMahon
- 5:45Speaker 1: shows up with this Bentley and I didn't realize that
- 5:49Speaker 1: Bentley is a really fast car. You know, it's kind
- 5:51Speaker 1: of a big, big, you know, heavy car, but it
- 5:54Speaker 1: really moves. So apparently he was going like one hundred
- 5:56Speaker 1: and twenty miles an hour at one point. It's not
- 6:01Speaker 1: ninety five. It's the Merit, which is very slow and quiet.
- 6:05Speaker 1: So the video has been released, you can see it online.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Vince McMahon going one hundred and twenty one hundred and
- 6:11Speaker 1: fifteen and police are chasing him now and he's not
- 6:16Speaker 1: pulling over and they can't really keep up with him.
- 6:19Speaker 1: You know, I didn't realize the Bentley was that fast,
- 6:21Speaker 1: but they're losing them, but they finally do get him
- 6:24Speaker 1: to pull over. They got the siren, they got the lights,
- 6:26Speaker 1: they got the whole thing going. And he's going so
- 6:29Speaker 1: fast and he's going in and out of lanes, he's
- 6:31Speaker 1: changing lanes. He did hit a car, he hit the rail.
- 6:34Speaker 1: In fact, the whole Bentley was told it was like
- 6:36Speaker 1: remember the Wolf of Wall Street when he's driving home
- 6:38Speaker 1: in that car. It was like that totally demolished. Police
- 6:42Speaker 1: pull him over. I didn't appear to be drunk. I
- 6:45Speaker 1: don't know why he was speeding so much, and he
- 6:50Speaker 1: was a little confused. He was very nice about it,
- 6:52Speaker 1: very nice to the officers. And here's somebody just stay
- 6:55Speaker 1: in the car.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Do you need an ambulance?
- 6:56Speaker 3: No, I don't Why were you driving over one hundred
- 6:59Speaker 3: miles an hour?
- 7:00Speaker 2: I'd got granddaughter's birthday.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Did you see me trying to catch up to you?
- 7:04Speaker 4: Behind you?
- 7:04Speaker 1: I didn't see that, yeah, so much, but it looked normal. Yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to catch up to and you keep taking off. Yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 1: I don't know, he said he was. Why were you
- 7:14Speaker 1: I was trying to get to my granddaughter's birthday. Now,
- 7:19Speaker 1: something's wrong with this explanation. I'm sure you can love
- 7:21Speaker 1: to go to your granddaughter's birthday. That's not something where
- 7:24Speaker 1: you go one hundred and twenty miles an hour to
- 7:26Speaker 1: get to that. I don't know. There might be some
- 7:29Speaker 1: unbelievable circumstance where you'd be racing there, not your granddaughter's birthday.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So nobody knows why he was going there. Parts of it.
- 7:37Speaker 1: You can see much more of the video online, but
- 7:39Speaker 1: parts of it aren't there. He must have explained to
- 7:41Speaker 1: him who he was at one point. He's being very
- 7:43Speaker 1: nice to them, He's not being obnoxious about anything. But
- 7:46Speaker 1: they went pretty easy on him. Normally, if you're going
- 7:48Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty, you're going to get arrested. It's
- 7:50Speaker 1: like a real serious crime and a real serious charge.
- 7:54Speaker 1: But he got off pretty easy on all of this.
- 7:57Speaker 1: But good ad for Bentley actually, although you can't use
- 8:01Speaker 1: the video because he keeps hitting everything. He hits every
- 8:03Speaker 1: car on the road, he hits the rail. He just
- 8:05Speaker 1: does everything. I mean, weaving all over the place. So hey,
- 8:10Speaker 1: Kamala Harris is on her book tour. She's really trying
- 8:14Speaker 1: to sell this book. She's in Indianapolis today speaking. Apparently
- 8:18Speaker 1: she's making noise about running in twenty twenty four, which
- 8:21Speaker 1: is frightening everybody, including Democrats. They don't want to get
- 8:24Speaker 1: stuck with this bird brain again. But she's not going
- 8:27Speaker 1: to go away that easy. Oh remember I was telling
- 8:30Speaker 1: you the State of the Union speech. It was all
- 8:33Speaker 1: traps for the Democrats. The whole mission in the State
- 8:37Speaker 1: of Union speech was to set traps, have them fall
- 8:39Speaker 1: into it. The Republicans and Trump would come away with
- 8:45Speaker 1: millions of great TV ads as a result, the first
- 8:49Speaker 1: one is out. In fact, I can't play it for
- 8:51Speaker 1: you because you got to see the visual. It doesn't
- 8:54Speaker 1: work without seeing the visual. But it's up on my Twitter.
- 8:57Speaker 1: You can go look at it, Mark Simone and yat Twitter.
- 9:00Speaker 1: But it's powerful. It's that moment where he said, stand
- 9:04Speaker 1: up and show your support if you believe the first
- 9:07Speaker 1: job of government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens. Well,
- 9:14Speaker 1: all the Republicans stand up. All the Democrats sit there
- 9:16Speaker 1: and they look really awful. They're putting these ugly scowls
- 9:19Speaker 1: on their face. The video is amazing, the way they've
- 9:21Speaker 1: cut this together. It's a thirty second ad. They've already
- 9:25Speaker 1: announced they're spending seven million on the ad by the
- 9:28Speaker 1: first ad by they're going to run this everywhere. It
- 9:32Speaker 1: is going to be devastating. And this is just the
- 9:34Speaker 1: first ad to come out. Again, it's on my Twitter
- 9:37Speaker 1: if you want to look at it. Looks really, really,
- 9:39Speaker 1: really ugly for Democrats. Hey, this has been coming out,
- 9:45Speaker 1: the raid on mar A Lago, Jack Smith, all that
- 9:50Speaker 1: law there, the weaponizing the Justice Department. You know, the
- 9:54Speaker 1: Biden kept denying and denying and denying that he had
- 9:58Speaker 1: anything to do with it. Well, he's been caught. They
- 10:01Speaker 1: had found. Department of Justices found the back and forth,
- 10:04Speaker 1: the emails, the documents. Biden was in on the rail
- 10:09Speaker 1: we will always knew this, but he kept lying about it.
- 10:12Speaker 1: But the rating team said they had to wait to
- 10:15Speaker 1: meet with Biden to brief him about it, to go
- 10:18Speaker 1: over it with him. The emails totally show Biden completely
- 10:22Speaker 1: lying that he had no previous knowledge. In the documents,
- 10:26Speaker 1: he said, we have to brief President Joe Biden. He
- 10:27Speaker 1: wants to be briefed first and coordinate. We have to
- 10:30Speaker 1: coordinate this raid with the White House. Now, this is
- 10:34Speaker 1: pretty damaging stuff. And then they're talking about going ahead
- 10:37Speaker 1: and they said the events dependent on the timeline of
- 10:40Speaker 1: President Biden, his brief his decision, and the White House
- 10:44Speaker 1: Council coordinating with us. And all these documents are there now,
- 10:49Speaker 1: so it absolute proof Joe Biden was behind the raid
- 10:53Speaker 1: personally lied about it. Hey, speaking of the State of
- 10:57Speaker 1: the Union, the President didn't mention Iran much. It's briefly,
- 11:01Speaker 1: and he didn't really make the case for attacking Iran militarily,
- 11:06Speaker 1: for actual war with Iran. Now some people think that
- 11:12Speaker 1: means he's not not planning to actually do anything, that
- 11:16Speaker 1: all of this they're negotiating right now as we speak
- 11:19Speaker 1: with Iran, they're in talks negotiations. So some people think
- 11:23Speaker 1: this whole of assembling that WHLD military strike force right
- 11:27Speaker 1: off the coast, talking about it is just to speed
- 11:30Speaker 1: up the negotiation. That if he was really really planning
- 11:33Speaker 1: to attack and do something, he would have made the
- 11:36Speaker 1: case a little more in the state of the Union.
- 11:40Speaker 1: But who knows. Who knows? You can never tell with Trump.
- 11:42Speaker 1: You can never be absolutely sure. Yeah, you can never
- 11:48Speaker 1: be positive. Hey, you know about to Hunter College, this
- 11:51Speaker 1: racist professor saying this terrible racist stuff. No, she having
- 11:57Speaker 1: some kind of big zoom meeting. And you got to
- 12:01Speaker 1: be so careful with zoom. I don't know, it's the
- 12:04Speaker 1: most dangerous thing in the world if you're not careful.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Remember Jeffrey Tubin during the pandemic lockdown, they had to
- 12:09Speaker 1: meet every day on zoom and they find him pleasuring
- 12:16Speaker 1: himself and he doesn't realize the cameras on Jeffrey Tuban,
- 12:19Speaker 1: the great CNN legal analyst, And it's one of these
- 12:22Speaker 1: zooms with like twenty CNN people their morning conference and
- 12:26Speaker 1: everybody's at home and they notice that he has unbuckled
- 12:30Speaker 1: his pants and pulled them down and is pleasuring himself.
- 12:36Speaker 1: And I don't know what he thought that. I guess
- 12:38Speaker 1: he thought he shut the camera off. I guess he
- 12:42Speaker 1: thought he muted himself, but he didn't. And they're all
- 12:44Speaker 1: watching this whole thing. And remember he was on every day.
- 12:48Speaker 1: He was a big part of CNN, and then he
- 12:50Speaker 1: was gone. Obviously because of that. He has come back
- 12:54Speaker 1: here and there, but that was the end of him.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So they're doing this zoom thing and there's something about
- 13:00Speaker 1: a black student is talking about her schools not very good,
- 13:02Speaker 1: or the problems with her school, and this professor, this
- 13:06Speaker 1: professor makes the most ugly racist comments, something about, well,
- 13:11Speaker 1: black kid wouldn't know if he had a bad school.
- 13:13Speaker 1: They're two dumb, unbelievable racist stuff. Now listen to this.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I guess she thinks she's muted, but she's not.
- 13:20Speaker 5: Another important is for me is our speech broken. I've
- 13:24Speaker 5: been receiving these Beech services since first grade, I had
- 13:27Speaker 5: said into Friday. He delivers lessons and helps us fit
- 13:33Speaker 5: those skills into our lessons.
- 13:35Speaker 6: School is like.
- 13:37Speaker 1: That, you don't know they're in a bad school.
- 13:41Speaker 7: I mean the King said it like if you trained
- 13:44Speaker 7: a black person well enough, they'll know who use the back.
- 13:46Speaker 5: You don't have to tell them anymore.
- 13:47Speaker 1: They also, what you're saying is absolutely hearable. Here. You've
- 13:52Speaker 1: got to stop Alison Friedman as uh As what's his
- 13:59Speaker 1: name said in the you won't be seeing her anymore. So,
- 14:02Speaker 1: I mean that's instant firing. I mean, no excuse for that,
- 14:05Speaker 1: no defense for it. Absolutely ridiculous. Hey, we'll take some
- 14:09Speaker 1: calls next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 14:13Speaker 1: is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Get hiss and access to Mark by setting a freeset
- 14:22Speaker 1: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on wor Well,
- 14:32Speaker 1: let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 14:36Speaker 1: seven ten is the number, and let's go to Bob
- 14:38Speaker 1: in Connecticut. Bob, how you doing, Mark?
- 14:42Speaker 8: I'm doing just fine. I would like to say that
- 14:45Speaker 8: I think Donald Trump has surpassed P. T. Barnham as
- 14:52Speaker 8: the great showman he was, and the show he put
- 14:56Speaker 8: on the other night was the greatest show on earth.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Well, very good, not easy to talk for two hours,
- 15:02Speaker 1: and they'll hold everybody's attention. But he did longest day
- 15:05Speaker 1: of the union ever, two hours. I think that we
- 15:09Speaker 1: didn't get the final number. I think it's about thirty
- 15:11Speaker 1: six million, said not a minute afore them. No, it
- 15:14Speaker 1: was pretty good. It held there was attention. Now you
- 15:17Speaker 1: go along deliberately for one its strategy. Normally the rebuttal
- 15:23Speaker 1: from the Democrats, the rebuttal speech starts about ten to fifteen,
- 15:28Speaker 1: but he went really long to about eleven. So the
- 15:31Speaker 1: rebuttal didn't happen about eleven fifteen, which means very few
- 15:34Speaker 1: people saw it. Most people are gone by eleven o'clock.
- 15:37Speaker 1: They want to go to bed or do something else.
- 15:39Speaker 1: But let's go to Erin in Indianapolis. Erin, how you doing.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark. I want to talk about this raid
- 15:46Speaker 2: on mar A Lago.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Yes, Now, the.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Supposedly they're firing all the FBI agents that were involved
- 15:54Speaker 2: in that, but then those agents involved were saying they
- 15:57Speaker 2: had no choice, they have just following orders.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah, well you could use the Mark Kelly rule. You're
- 16:03Speaker 1: not supposed to obey illegal orders. And it was a
- 16:06Speaker 1: very questionable raid. But I don't know, you gotta I
- 16:12Speaker 1: understand what you're saying. You don't want to fire the
- 16:14Speaker 1: guys just following orders. But I have a feeling it
- 16:17Speaker 1: was such a sleazy, dirty, ugly, unethical raid. A feeling
- 16:23Speaker 1: that the Merck Garland and Jack Smith and Christopher Ray
- 16:26Speaker 1: they probably hand picked some agents close to them to
- 16:30Speaker 1: go do this. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 16:32Speaker 1: how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 16:37Speaker 4: It was interesting seeing the eighty year old Vince McMahon
- 16:41Speaker 4: driving like a knucklehead. But down here in Florida, that's
- 16:45Speaker 4: the way they drive, these.
- 16:46Speaker 9: Eighty year olds.
- 16:47Speaker 4: They do pnishing that anybody gets anywhere.
- 16:49Speaker 9: Alive with the way.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I thought those old people Florida drove real slow.
- 16:54Speaker 4: They drive slow, but dangerously.
- 16:57Speaker 9: You know.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Try getting on a highway and I doing twenty five
- 17:00Speaker 4: miles an hour because you know, and it's just you know,
- 17:03Speaker 4: and they're expecting the semi truck in that lane to
- 17:05Speaker 4: get over for them.
- 17:06Speaker 6: It's it's terrible.
- 17:08Speaker 9: And they, you know, they don't.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Nobody knows when they go. They get to a four
- 17:11Speaker 4: way intersection and all they do is waves to each other,
- 17:14Speaker 4: no you go.
- 17:14Speaker 9: No you go, no you go.
- 17:15Speaker 4: It's like the old Chip and Dale Chipmunk cartoons from
- 17:18Speaker 4: Warner Brothers, and they're awful, and it's so bad. You know,
- 17:23Speaker 4: Google Maps as a new part of it that tells
- 17:26Speaker 4: them why they went to where they're going.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Well, you know, for all these eighty year olds down there,
- 17:34Speaker 1: nothing personal, but most of your people in Florida got
- 17:36Speaker 1: nothing to do, your network, and you're retired, you got
- 17:38Speaker 1: nowhere to go. There seems to be a hell of
- 17:40Speaker 1: a lot of traffic for people that have nowhere to
- 17:41Speaker 1: go and don't need.
- 17:42Speaker 9: To be driving. It's so true, you couldn't. It's amazing.
- 17:46Speaker 4: They're just wandering around on their cell phones doing everything
- 17:50Speaker 4: but driving.
- 17:51Speaker 1: And where are you in Florida.
- 17:53Speaker 4: I'm in Port Saint Lucy. It's about forty miles go
- 17:56Speaker 4: through the Palm Beaches.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Oh okay, so you got you got the East coast.
- 18:00Speaker 1: You got a lot of traffic right when you go
- 18:01Speaker 1: to Palm Beach.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Traffic is brutal, right, Yes, And Portie and Lucy has
- 18:05Speaker 4: become the largest I think it's one of the largest
- 18:08Speaker 4: cities in the state now. It's growing exponentially in just
- 18:12Speaker 4: the short time I've been here. The population is booming
- 18:16Speaker 4: like crazy, and none of them can drive.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Mike, thanks for calling. You know, it's
- 18:19Speaker 1: funny if you study the history of Florida and you're
- 18:21Speaker 1: back to the fifties, Miami. Everybody was in Miami.
- 18:24Speaker 9: That's it.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Then in the sixties and they start moving up to
- 18:27Speaker 1: Fort Lauderdale. Then Fort Lauderdale got very busy. Then in
- 18:32Speaker 1: the seventies they start all moving to Boca Ratan, which
- 18:35Speaker 1: is north. They keep moving north, and then it was
- 18:37Speaker 1: Boka Ratan. Now Palm Beach became like the hottest place. Then.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Well then now they start moving to Jupiter, that's north
- 18:43Speaker 1: of pombe Now they're all in Jupiter. That became really busy.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Now Portland Saint Lucie about to become the biggest sea.
- 18:49Speaker 1: They keep going north. At the rate they're going, they're
- 18:54Speaker 1: going to be back here in New York in about
- 18:55Speaker 1: twenty years. They'll if they keep going to the next
- 18:58Speaker 1: city north, they'll be back. Go to Anthony and Edison. Anthony,
- 19:01Speaker 1: how you doing, Hey, how you doing?
- 19:04Speaker 9: Mark?
- 19:04Speaker 6: Great job as usual? Hey, if we need to get
- 19:06Speaker 6: Trump to a zing old helicopter mighty shuttle here, you
- 19:09Speaker 6: know she's gonna get their priority street. See, Trump's gotta
- 19:12Speaker 6: tell her, Hey, instead of getting the way of my
- 19:14Speaker 6: ice agent is doing the job that they're properly supposed
- 19:17Speaker 6: to be doing. Why don't you just I'm promising you
- 19:19Speaker 6: your Jersey residence a tax breaker of like twenty thirty
- 19:22Speaker 6: or forty percent by the time your first damn term
- 19:25Speaker 6: is over.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, study New Jersey government. It's besides all
- 19:28Speaker 1: the corruption, there's just so much waste in there. They're
- 19:31Speaker 1: just wasting money. Your tax bill could be cut in
- 19:34Speaker 1: half in one second in New Jersey. Just stop all
- 19:38Speaker 1: the waste and the fraud and the bloat. It's so easy.
- 19:41Speaker 1: You don't even need Elon Musk. Just anybody, any accountant
- 19:44Speaker 1: could come in and do it in about five minutes
- 19:46Speaker 1: and then cut the tax bill in half. Let's go
- 19:49Speaker 1: to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing?
- 19:52Speaker 9: Good morning, Mark? Can you hear me better? Now?
- 19:54Speaker 1: Yeah? Now you're good?
- 19:55Speaker 9: All right, I'm believe it or not. In my bedroom,
- 19:58Speaker 9: I have an old fashioned wired landline that when all
- 20:02Speaker 9: else fails, it works. Uh, Mark, Yesterday you were speaking
- 20:06Speaker 9: to that gentleman from Jersey, from Long Swamp, and he
- 20:10Speaker 9: was talking about wild animals near his house and everything.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And he has a wood stove to heat him hit
- 20:17Speaker 1: his place.
- 20:18Speaker 9: Speaking of possums at night, I have raccoons and possums
- 20:23Speaker 9: that come in my yard now the possum yeah, square
- 20:28Speaker 9: business Mark, I have. By the way, they were introduced
- 20:32Speaker 9: the possums by uh uh mayor Bloomberg because he thought
- 20:37Speaker 9: they would control the mice and rat population. Mice and
- 20:41Speaker 9: rats one run much faster than possums. They come in
- 20:45Speaker 9: my yard at night looking for dead things to eat
- 20:48Speaker 9: because they're known as the garbage clean exactly. Mark. Speaking
- 20:55Speaker 9: about the snowball as salt on the cops, Uh, Mark,
- 21:01Speaker 9: you could actually if you get hit in the eye
- 21:03Speaker 9: with an ice ball or snowball, you could get a
- 21:05Speaker 9: detached rett. You could get premature cataracts and everything that
- 21:10Speaker 9: is bad news. You could you could actually lose your
- 21:13Speaker 9: your eye.
- 21:14Speaker 1: And I remember years ago there was that football fight.
- 21:17Speaker 1: It was two football teams. The fans were thrown at
- 21:19Speaker 1: the other team and they hit a coach and blinded him.
- 21:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 9: Not because when I recently I had to have cataract surgery.
- 21:27Speaker 9: And before that, you in the doctor's office, they show
- 21:30Speaker 9: you like an informational video of how cataracts For me,
- 21:34Speaker 9: either from old age or there was a woman who
- 21:38Speaker 9: was a young woman and she was playing volleyball and
- 21:41Speaker 9: she got hit in the face with the volleyball and
- 21:46Speaker 9: she got a premature cataract and they had to do
- 21:48Speaker 9: surgery on her. Mark. I believe that if another incident
- 21:53Speaker 9: happens with the police and Mayor Montdami does him back
- 21:58Speaker 9: the cops like he did this last time, I'm Jessica
- 22:01Speaker 9: Pesh has to give it up because that's wait. He's
- 22:05Speaker 9: a great person, mop. Yeah, but she's gonna lose the
- 22:08Speaker 9: credibility with the men and women in Blue.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Well, the men and women blue are too thrilled with
- 22:13Speaker 1: her to begin with. But that's another story. But good Vincent,
- 22:16Speaker 1: great call, uh when we come back. Oh, actually, normally
- 22:19Speaker 1: be Jimmy Fayla every Thursday. He's with us. But he's
- 22:22Speaker 1: not feeling well. He's got that thing that's going around
- 22:26Speaker 1: that everybody. So doesn't sound too good today. But we'll
- 22:29Speaker 1: take some calls if you want to call. We'll take
- 22:30Speaker 1: some calls next eight hundred three to two one zero
- 22:34Speaker 1: seven ten. Well, mister New York, he's on the game
- 22:37Speaker 1: The mar Simone Show on sevent ten wor he normally
- 22:44Speaker 1: Jimmy Fala would be with us on Thursdays. He's not
- 22:46Speaker 1: feeling well. He caught that thing that's going around, so
- 22:49Speaker 1: he'll be with us next week. But we've got lots
- 22:52Speaker 1: to talk about and we'll take some calls. We don't
- 22:53Speaker 1: have to have a guest all the time, you know.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You know, some shows get too crazy with guests. Every
- 22:58Speaker 1: segment is a guest. There are some shows that's all
- 23:01Speaker 1: they have our guests. They start the show by telling
- 23:04Speaker 1: you they're gonna have this person, then we're gonna have
- 23:05Speaker 1: this person, then this person, then that person. They have
- 23:07Speaker 1: like twenty seven guests on every show, totally dependent on guests.
- 23:10Speaker 1: There's really no show. It's just a series of guests.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Remember Russ Rush. Remember Rush never had a guest on
- 23:17Speaker 1: never ever, ever three hours, never had a guest on.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Maybe once every four years he would have a guest on,
- 23:24Speaker 1: and that would be when presidential election was going on.
- 23:28Speaker 1: He would have President Bush was on once. I think
- 23:31Speaker 1: Donald Trump. I think he had Jad Vansam, but at
- 23:34Speaker 1: election time he'd have the presidential candidate. But outside of that,
- 23:37Speaker 1: never ever, ever, any guests. Hey, AMC movie theaters. They're
- 23:43Speaker 1: shutting down over two hundred theaters, you know, less and
- 23:47Speaker 1: less people go to a movie theater anymore. I mean,
- 23:50Speaker 1: the pandemic really finished movie theaters because you know a
- 23:54Speaker 1: lot of people start streaming. You don't have to go
- 23:56Speaker 1: to the theater. You can wash it home. Then during
- 23:58Speaker 1: the pandemic, nobody could go to a theater for about
- 24:01Speaker 1: eight months. Everybody had to watch movies at home, and
- 24:03Speaker 1: they got pretty used to it. Even if you weren't
- 24:05Speaker 1: a streamer. You learned how to stream, you signed up.
- 24:08Speaker 1: And then after all of that, why go back to
- 24:11Speaker 1: a movie theater? And then I give AMC credit. You
- 24:13Speaker 1: go to some of their theaters. They've really fixed them up.
- 24:15Speaker 1: They got these beautiful recliner chairs, they got great food
- 24:20Speaker 1: and buffets and all that. But you could have that
- 24:23Speaker 1: at home. You got whatever chair you want at home,
- 24:26Speaker 1: whatever you want to eat, you could have at home. Hey,
- 24:29Speaker 1: this is a Jano Lieber the subways. He's the subway
- 24:33Speaker 1: MTA chairman. And you got to blame Kathy Hogles, she
- 24:35Speaker 1: runs the MTA. But they are just crazier and crazier.
- 24:39Speaker 1: They just waste money. They overpay like crazy. Subway budget
- 24:43Speaker 1: is ridiculous, service stinks, and again they overpay like crazy.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Sort of make up for that. It's just one scheme
- 24:50Speaker 1: after another, congestion pricing the latest one they want. They're
- 24:56Speaker 1: going to start running commercials in the subway. Audio commercials.
- 25:01Speaker 1: You're gonna hear them in the stations. There'll be thirty
- 25:03Speaker 1: second audio commercials. They're gonna play them at seventy five decibels.
- 25:08Speaker 1: That's like a little louder than the train announcements, so
- 25:11Speaker 1: you won't be able to get away from as you're
- 25:12Speaker 1: standing on the platform and sometimes you know, you got
- 25:15Speaker 1: to wait on that platform twenty minutes. You're gonna hear
- 25:17Speaker 1: a lot of commercials. You think we run a lot
- 25:19Speaker 1: of commercials, wait, unless jan O Lieber gets going with this.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It's all for revenue, and it's really really stupid. I mean,
- 25:27Speaker 1: they do have the ads on the posters and you know,
- 25:31Speaker 1: along the walls. That should be enough. But now they're
- 25:34Speaker 1: gonna run audio ads. Hey, speaking of that, Mamdani an
- 25:39Speaker 1: AOC team up to do a commercial, a TV commercial.
- 25:42Speaker 1: It's running all over the place online and they're getting
- 25:46Speaker 1: a lot of flak for it. It's AOC and Mamdani
- 25:49Speaker 1: and the point of the commercial is to tell illegal aliens,
- 25:52Speaker 1: illegal immigrants, illegal to sign up for free daycare from
- 25:57Speaker 1: New York City. Now, obviously it's not free. We're paying
- 26:00Speaker 1: for it. The taxpayers have to pay for it. But
- 26:01Speaker 1: it's another example of taking money out of people's paychecks
- 26:06Speaker 1: to support illegal aliens who should be taken, taken it away,
- 26:12Speaker 1: taken out of the country, deported. They're here illegally. Not
- 26:15Speaker 1: only they do this commercial. It's mostly aoc mam donegane
- 26:19Speaker 1: hasn't get a word in with aoci, but it's in Spanish.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Take a listener.
- 26:25Speaker 7: Espanol, No not a sin sue i esta com fiendo
- 26:31Speaker 7: tres or cuatro midventes states who stept peistrallos.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Gratis in a programmer king the tress or pre kinder
- 26:39Speaker 3: tell us that deva York perro debreistrase lent de febrero
- 26:45Speaker 3: ques while quiel padre de la familia delad Neva York
- 26:51Speaker 3: seen in portarso ocupacion in grezo or estatus migratoriosucijos.
- 27:00Speaker 1: It sounds good, it's got a nice sound to it,
- 27:03Speaker 1: but it's horrible. It's them them telling illegals to sign
- 27:07Speaker 1: up for free daycare from New York City. Hey, if
- 27:12Speaker 1: you're a wine drinker, you might find this interesting. The
- 27:15Speaker 1: wine business and the wineries are slowly dying. It's a
- 27:20Speaker 1: big problem, even in California, but they have some of
- 27:23Speaker 1: the great wineries in America. Several of them are actually
- 27:27Speaker 1: shutting down, and several of the top wineries that have
- 27:31Speaker 1: shut down said it's slowly getting to the end of
- 27:34Speaker 1: the wine business. The problem is habits are changing. Younger
- 27:42Speaker 1: people don't like wine gen Z gen X, they're not
- 27:46Speaker 1: big wine drinkers. They don't drink it. So the wine
- 27:49Speaker 1: industry is totally dependent on baby boomers, the older people.
- 27:54Speaker 1: They're the only ones left to drink wine. And apparently
- 27:59Speaker 1: that grew. Sales are way way down now. Some people say, well,
- 28:03Speaker 1: they're trying to be healthier, so they're cutting back on one.
- 28:05Speaker 1: But here's one of the big winery owners. He said,
- 28:07Speaker 1: that's not the problem. He said, when you're depending on
- 28:09Speaker 1: baby boomers, they start dying. Year after hear more of
- 28:13Speaker 1: them die, and those are your only customers left. So
- 28:16Speaker 1: they got a big problem. Younger people do not like wine.
- 28:20Speaker 1: You know, whenever you see younger people out, there's no wine.
- 28:23Speaker 1: They're drinking those espresso martinis and all kinds of stuff.
- 28:27Speaker 1: They do not drink wine anymore. And you know, people
- 28:31Speaker 1: that drink wine drive you nuts. You ever go to
- 28:33Speaker 1: somebody who's like a wine expert, you order what you want,
- 28:38Speaker 1: the wine expert calls that guy over, that's Somalier. Whatever
- 28:41Speaker 1: the hell that guy, and then they start discussing for
- 28:44Speaker 1: twenty minutes. Oh, tell me about the chateau bub Baba,
- 28:47Speaker 1: tell me about this, and then they discuss it, and
- 28:50Speaker 1: after about ten minutes you just yell, at will you
- 28:52Speaker 1: pick something already? Well, I have to find it. I
- 28:55Speaker 1: thought you're a wine expert, you should know all this.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Well I can't know them all. It's just there should
- 28:59Speaker 1: be like a time limit, like in a chess game.
- 29:01Speaker 1: If you're going to start talking to this guy about
- 29:03Speaker 1: the wine, two minute timer. As soon as it goes off,
- 29:06Speaker 1: you have to order something. Anyway, Let's take some calls.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Let's go to Dennis and Yonkers. Dennis, how you doing? Yeah?
- 29:13Speaker 9: They were wind up.
- 29:14Speaker 2: This show is great, Mark, Why are you going to
- 29:16Speaker 2: interview Steve from Manhattan?
- 29:17Speaker 1: I mean will wait never, absolutely never. Let let's go
- 29:21Speaker 1: to mill in New Jersey. Bill, how you doing?
- 29:24Speaker 9: Thank you? Mark?
- 29:26Speaker 8: At President Trump State of the Union Democrats.
- 29:32Speaker 6: When they would not see your.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Phone is cutting out. But I gotta be honest, it
- 29:37Speaker 1: didn't sound that interesting anyway. So thanks for calling. Let's
- 29:41Speaker 1: go to Joe in the Elmwood Park. Joe, how you doing.
- 29:44Speaker 10: Good morning, Mark, kudos to Vincent. Uh, there was a
- 29:47Speaker 10: question the other day of a president was born in
- 29:50Speaker 10: New Jersey. Yeah, it was Grover Cleveland. He was the
- 29:53Speaker 10: first first president to have a non consecutive presidency twenty
- 29:57Speaker 10: two and twenty four, like Trump did forty five.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Very good. Do you know where in New Jersey he lived?
- 30:03Speaker 10: Some little town, Grover Mill or something like that. I
- 30:06Speaker 10: know it sounds like War of the Worlds. And did
- 30:09Speaker 10: you know that our governor got booed once you went
- 30:12Speaker 10: to the Devil's Game?
- 30:13Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 30:14Speaker 1: No, I could figure. Well listen, I mean, you're in
- 30:17Speaker 1: New Jersey, Governor, she's taxing, You're like crazy. Hey. Rock
- 30:20Speaker 1: and Roll Hall of Fame they announced the nominees. You know,
- 30:23Speaker 1: it's a big problem with this Rock and Roll Hall
- 30:24Speaker 1: of Fame. It's like, how long is it now? Thirty years?
- 30:27Speaker 1: You know, after all these years you've nominated everybody, there's
- 30:30Speaker 1: nobody left. All the big names are already in there.
- 30:33Speaker 1: So you're down to uh, well, let's see Phil Collins.
- 30:38Speaker 1: All right. I can see Phil Collins. That's a good
- 30:41Speaker 1: Luther Vandres. I love Luther Vandres. But I don't know
- 30:44Speaker 1: is that rock and roll is even the rock and
- 30:45Speaker 1: Roll Hall of Fame and great stuff, but rock and roll,
- 30:48Speaker 1: I don't know. Are you gonna hear that on Q
- 30:49Speaker 1: one zero four? I don't think so. Lauren Hill is
- 30:53Speaker 1: in the rock and roll Hall of Fame, So I
- 30:56Speaker 1: don't know. What can you do now, Phil Collins. I
- 30:58Speaker 1: could see Melissa Ethridge and roll Hall of Fame, but
- 31:01Speaker 1: I know you put her in the same category as
- 31:03Speaker 1: the Beatles or the Rolling Stones. I don't know, but
- 31:07Speaker 1: again it's not their fault. There's just no thirty forty
- 31:10Speaker 1: years later, you're running out of people. Hey, don't forget.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Coming up at noon, Buck Sexton Klay, Travis Buck has
- 31:16Speaker 1: a new book out. He'll be on the show with
- 31:18Speaker 1: us tomorrow to talk about it. And then you got
- 31:21Speaker 1: the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity
- 31:25Speaker 1: at three, Jesse Kelly at six, and every night now
- 31:28Speaker 1: nine o'clock Jimmy Fail A great show. That's all here.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Coming up on seven to ten wor.
- 31:34Speaker 9: Marximo the issues you really care about on seven ten wor.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Well, as we speak, they're holding the hearings in Chappaquah,
- 31:47Speaker 1: the Epstein hearings. The committee investigating is interviewing Hillary Clinton.
- 31:53Speaker 1: They have rented the Performing Arts Center. Apparently Hillary is
- 31:56Speaker 1: telling them she doesn't recall meeting this. What you say
- 32:00Speaker 1: his name was Jeffrey Epstein? Huh, doesn't ring a bell.
- 32:05Speaker 1: She doesn't. She's actually going to try to get away
- 32:08Speaker 1: with this. She doesn't recall meeting him. Now, of course,
- 32:11Speaker 1: if you look at the pictures of Chelsea's wedding, we
- 32:13Speaker 1: see Gallaine Maxwell sitting right there in the front. But
- 32:16Speaker 1: she also, apparently before going in, really attacked the committee
- 32:20Speaker 1: investigating the Epstein stuff. She said it's partisan political theater.
- 32:25Speaker 1: She said, this Oversight Committee's investigation is quote, an abdication
- 32:30Speaker 1: of duty and an insult to the American people. Now,
- 32:38Speaker 1: some might say she's squealing like a stuck pig, but also, hey,
- 32:44Speaker 1: the Democrats tell us this is very important to investigate
- 32:46Speaker 1: this Epstein stuff. Wasn't it really important to get the
- 32:49Speaker 1: Epstein files out, investigate get to the bottom of everything. Well,
- 32:54Speaker 1: Hillary and Bill Clinton are all through the Epstein files.
- 32:57Speaker 1: They're tangled up with him business wise money. It was
- 33:01Speaker 1: Epstein that helped Fountain Fund and founded the Clinton Global
- 33:04Speaker 1: Initiative and the Clinton Foundation. So they'll be out of
- 33:08Speaker 1: there pretty soon, and then I'm sure she'll lash out again.
- 33:12Speaker 1: The committee is going to have a press conference after
- 33:14Speaker 1: it's over, and there is video. I don't know if
- 33:17Speaker 1: they'll release it or I would imagine we'll get to
- 33:19Speaker 1: see some of it, but it's going to look like
- 33:21Speaker 1: those Benghazi hearings. With that, what difference does it make?
- 33:24Speaker 1: So kind of attitude, Hey, we're out of time. I'll
- 33:27Speaker 1: be back tomorrow ten to noon. Don't go anywhere, Buck
- 33:30Speaker 1: and Clay, all right, just ahead right after the news
- 33:32Speaker 1: at twelve noon. I'm here every day ten to noon,
- 33:35Speaker 1: or you can listen anytime. Just get the podcast any
- 33:38Speaker 1: place you get podcasts. I'll see you tomorrow seven to
- 33:41Speaker 1: ten wo
