- 1:29Speaker 2: join us again here or another week on rt our
- 1:33Speaker 2: Real Talk Radio. Oh thank you for joining us again.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And I am so mad about it because I really
- 1:41Speaker 1: really want to go to Japan, dude, I really do.
- 1:46Speaker 1: It's like one of my dream vacations for myself.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I really want to go. All about it. I thought
- 1:51Speaker 2: about it, but you know what, I have this recurring
- 1:54Speaker 2: dream of where I am trying to talk to people
- 1:57Speaker 2: and I'm panicked for whatever reason, I'm trying to talk
- 2:00Speaker 2: to people and nobody can understand me, and I feel
- 2:03Speaker 2: like that would happen in Japan.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So no, surprisingly, so I've been doing my research and
- 2:10Speaker 1: a lot of black folks is going to Japan.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Well, hell yeah, have you looked at.
- 2:16Speaker 1: It that there is a lot more English speaking people
- 2:22Speaker 1: over there then I thought originally. And if it's not,
- 2:27Speaker 1: like there's different apps and stuff that you can use
- 2:30Speaker 1: to communicate, like, it's not that bad.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Huh.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I'm not going by myself either, so it's gonna have
- 2:38Speaker 1: to be a thing where I'm with somebody else and
- 2:40Speaker 1: we figure that shit out. But I definitely want to go.
- 2:43Speaker 1: That's one of my bucket on.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Your bucket lists definitely is you know what, I've knocked
- 2:49Speaker 2: out most of my bucket list in my I want
- 2:52Speaker 2: to say my twenties and thirties because I jumped out
- 2:54Speaker 2: of a plane. I think y'all have seen that video online.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I mean it was and you know what, Actually, my
- 2:59Speaker 2: sister and I just had this conversation recently in front
- 3:02Speaker 2: of mom. You know, art problems. Let's talk about doing
- 3:04Speaker 2: dangerous stuff. Yeah, not wise, but anyways, she talked about
- 3:10Speaker 2: she wants to bungee jump.
- 3:12Speaker 1: We don't take nothing serious.
- 3:16Speaker 2: But here's the thing I was like, I don't want to, Like,
- 3:19Speaker 2: I would have never bungee jump. I jumped out of
- 3:21Speaker 2: a plane, but I would never bungee jump because there's
- 3:24Speaker 2: too many things that could go wrong with the bungee jump.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Think about it, Like on a bungee jump, the cord
- 3:30Speaker 2: could snap, but like during the recoil, it could fuck
- 3:34Speaker 2: your back up, It could fuck any number of like
- 3:37Speaker 2: your bone problems. The results the things that could happen
- 3:41Speaker 2: are endless. But if you jump out of a plane
- 3:44Speaker 2: and your parachute don't open, best case scenario, you don't
- 3:49Speaker 2: make a big splack, but you gonna die, So I
- 3:52Speaker 2: do that when I got into the plane, like that
- 3:54Speaker 2: was a risk that I took, so that I'm willing
- 3:57Speaker 2: to do, but not to live my life all fucked
- 3:59Speaker 2: up like somebody got now the problem for people all
- 4:04Speaker 2: because my dumb ass decided to jump out of the plane.
- 4:07Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, You're gonna be in one
- 4:09Speaker 2: of the wheelchairs now, Trump that made it to where
- 4:14Speaker 2: you can't even get no job if you've got a wheelchair, Like, oh,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I know, just all of the things that could go bad.
- 4:22Speaker 2: How you feeling this week, Mama, you're looking good? Thank you?
- 4:27Speaker 1: I am feeling sore. I started back, I should say,
- 4:36Speaker 1: because you know, COVID fucked up a lot of ship
- 4:39Speaker 1: and I was getting a little slim thick with my
- 4:41Speaker 1: cute ass going to Planet Fitness every day, and then
- 4:45Speaker 1: COVID said, oh no, girl, sit your black ass down.
- 4:50Speaker 1: So I ended up canceling my membership and haven't been
- 4:53Speaker 1: back since and it's been years. So you know, I
- 4:59Speaker 1: guess I should care about my health, you know, since
- 5:01Speaker 1: we're getting older, not younger, and you know the body
- 5:03Speaker 1: is starting to deteriorate, and I was told I have
- 5:07Speaker 1: a little bit of arthritis in my motherfucking back. Excuse me,
- 5:12Speaker 1: are you fucking kidding me? Along with all the rest
- 5:14Speaker 1: of the ship I got going on, I don't need that,
- 5:16Speaker 1: So I said, you know what, so im and can't
- 5:22Speaker 1: go and get you the gym membership again and start going.
- 5:25Speaker 1: So I did start Monday, and my body.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Is weary, I hear you. So okay, all right, I'm
- 5:38Speaker 2: gonna get you some of that uh like that little
- 5:40Speaker 2: green that little green rub that comes in that tube
- 5:43Speaker 2: that there you go, that's what it's called.
- 5:46Speaker 4: I'm gonna get you that tiger fall hey girl love.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Oh no, yeah, all my mood, I'm trying to stay
- 5:57Speaker 4: in a positive mood. I am in a decent mood
- 6:00Speaker 4: for now.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I just woke up in a good mood. Good news fatigue, yep,
- 6:06Speaker 2: thank you news fatigued. I am so tired of my
- 6:11Speaker 2: phone blowing up with headlines every time, like your president
- 6:14Speaker 2: don't know how to do anything legal, so literally everything
- 6:19Speaker 2: is a headline because everything that he's doing is illegal
- 6:22Speaker 2: at some point in time during the day as fuck.
- 6:26Speaker 2: So little news fatigue. But otherwise I'm good. I got
- 6:30Speaker 2: some socks, you see, my socks.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Look.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Oh they're so cute, little pokemon socks. Got a little
- 6:36Speaker 6: poke ball socks. So just doing little things, take care
- 6:39Speaker 6: of myself, being a good mood. Oh what you want
- 6:44Speaker 6: to be like when you grow up?
- 6:45Speaker 2: Or who?
- 6:47Speaker 1: Okay, so this may be a little bit unconventional, but
- 6:51Speaker 1: oh I'm gonna still do it because when I read
- 6:54Speaker 1: this story, this particular one really touched my heart. So
- 7:00Speaker 1: I want to be like ten year old Trey Howard.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Okay, Tray Howard.
- 7:05Speaker 1: He is a little black boy who was waiting in
- 7:08Speaker 1: the car with his younger siblings for his dad to
- 7:11Speaker 1: return while picking up donuts when the jet that crashed
- 7:15Speaker 1: in Philadelphia came crashing down over them. No, he acted
- 7:20Speaker 1: fast to protect his little sister by covering her and
- 7:24Speaker 1: I did read her to the card. He realized there
- 7:28Speaker 1: was metal lodged in his son's head from the debris
- 7:30Speaker 1: of the crash. A police officer rushed them to the
- 7:34Speaker 1: hospital where Trey had emergency brain surgery, and that night
- 7:38Speaker 1: his family was told there was a strong chance he
- 7:40Speaker 1: might not survive. However, he did, and when he woke
- 7:43Speaker 1: up from the surgery, his first question was, Daddy, did
- 7:48Speaker 1: I save my little sister, and he did, and he
- 7:51Speaker 1: is a true hero.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Indeed, Oh I did read this article and I saw
- 7:58Speaker 2: him there and how his dad was saying that, you know,
- 8:00Speaker 2: he is his hero. So imagine your dad saying that
- 8:03Speaker 2: about you. That's so cute.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Wow.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Well, in that same mood, when I grow up, I
- 8:20Speaker 2: want to be like the Trailblazers over at Xavier University.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Have you heard about this? All?
- 8:25Speaker 7: Right?
- 8:26Speaker 2: So, they just made history by becoming the first HBCU
- 8:29Speaker 2: to launch a co ed varsity rowing program rowing. Yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 2: So this program is set to kick off in fall
- 8:37Speaker 2: of twenty twenty five this year, and comes after three
- 8:41Speaker 2: solid years of their rowing club team with the New
- 8:45Speaker 2: Orleans Rowing Club. So it's about creating more opportunities and
- 8:48Speaker 2: making sure that everybody has access to this cool sport.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Just kind of reminded me of all of these sports
- 8:54Speaker 2: like that we don't do, but beople would probably can
- 9:00Speaker 2: really like a whole lot of ass that we really
- 9:04Speaker 2: would nice if you think about it. I mean, we
- 9:06Speaker 2: own everything else that we do, so why not.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Wow.
- 9:11Speaker 2: But their athletic director Pat Kendrick is super excited about
- 9:16Speaker 2: this new edition. She believes it's going to open doors
- 9:18Speaker 2: for students, helping them to grow both in the classroom
- 9:21Speaker 2: and on water. So you know you have the support
- 9:25Speaker 2: from big names in the rowing world. David Banks, Rowing
- 9:29Speaker 2: Advocate are Shay Cooper, people that I don't know, but
- 9:32Speaker 2: they're definitely pumped up and they are the right people
- 9:36Speaker 2: to know. And for these you know, for these people
- 9:39Speaker 2: that have a positive impacts, it is I thought so too.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I guess we'll move on with the show. I got
- 9:48Speaker 2: an interesting if it were lyrical, So.
- 9:52Speaker 8: Up next, Well, well, well I've got some tea to tail, honey, Yes,
- 9:58Speaker 8: because I was just over there in the streets of Now,
- 10:00Speaker 8: sit down, we gotta talk. We ain't got time to
- 10:02Speaker 8: miss around. I gotta tell you everything. I was over
- 10:04Speaker 8: there on the streets of twater Baby, seeing, just seeing,
- 10:07Speaker 8: just looking to see who's twatting what out into the twatersphere,
- 10:10Speaker 8: and I ran across Time Magazine's latest twat honey, And
- 10:14Speaker 8: it is the cover of the next magazine, Yes baby,
- 10:17Speaker 8: the cover. And you're never gonna believe who is on
- 10:20Speaker 8: Time Magazine's cover Aloneia muskrat baby sitting at daddy's desk. Yes, alone,
- 10:27Speaker 8: A muskrat sitting at the resolute desk. Honey, let me
- 10:31Speaker 8: show it to you. Yes, yes, baby, look at this.
- 10:35Speaker 8: Daddy is not gonna be happy. Daddy, dump your pants
- 10:38Speaker 8: is gonna turn the White House red tonight with ketchup.
- 10:41Speaker 8: You hear me. There is gonna be cat soup here,
- 10:44Speaker 8: there and everywhere. There's not enough hines on the planet
- 10:48Speaker 8: for what's gonna go down tonight, Honey. Daddy is ego
- 10:52Speaker 8: can't handle this, honey. His ego is large, but it
- 10:55Speaker 8: is not in charge. You know. His ego is rolling
- 10:57Speaker 8: around like a dunk truck on a spare tire, honey,
- 11:00Speaker 8: and it just ain't gonna fly.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Honey.
- 11:02Speaker 8: Let me tell you something. Do you know that one
- 11:04Speaker 8: time Daddy dumpy Pants hired a camera crew and made
- 11:09Speaker 8: his very own fake covers of Time magazine with himself
- 11:13Speaker 8: on them, and then put them up in his properties. Yes, honey,
- 11:16Speaker 8: he staged a photo opportunity with Time magazine.
- 11:20Speaker 2: It was all made up, it wasn't even real, and.
- 11:22Speaker 8: Took photos of himself being on the cover of Time
- 11:25Speaker 8: magazine to put up in his properties, heavy and everywhere.
- 11:28Speaker 8: This man's ego, honey, it is large, but not in charge. Honey,
- 11:32Speaker 8: It is not in charge at all, baby, Oh my god,
- 11:34Speaker 8: a dump truck on spare tires and it is not
- 11:37Speaker 8: gonna roll. Dad is gonna have somebody's head on the
- 11:40Speaker 8: platter before it's over, Honey.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I smell a lawsuit.
- 11:44Speaker 8: Against Time Magazines, or a threat or a tariff or
- 11:47Speaker 8: something in the works before Saturday.
- 11:55Speaker 3: She would.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Well, Hello, Hello, Hello, what's going on you guys? It's
- 12:00Speaker 1: your girl, miss Lyric, and I'm back with my segment
- 12:03Speaker 1: if it were Lyric, where I discuss all your relationships,
- 12:05Speaker 1: situationships and friendships and everything else in between. If you
- 12:10Speaker 1: guys want to continue to send me your advice, questions,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me at
- 12:19Speaker 1: Lyric Bravado at gmail dot com. And that is all. Okay,
- 12:25Speaker 1: No more dms, no more spicy pictures, none of that.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I'm shutting it down at gmail dot com. All right.
- 12:34Speaker 1: So let's get to the first one. All right, all right,
- 12:41Speaker 1: it says dear Lyric. Hi, my name is Jennis, and
- 12:49Speaker 1: I have a real problem. My boyfriend made a video
- 12:54Speaker 1: of us having sex without my knowledge, and it I
- 13:01Speaker 1: found a video on my boyfriend's computer of us having sex.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I haven't made one with him, and immediately I thought
- 13:07Speaker 1: this has to be somebody else, So of course I
- 13:10Speaker 1: confronted him immediately, and he told me it was me
- 13:13Speaker 1: and my heart, saying I watched the video and I
- 13:15Speaker 1: realized that it was the night I woke up and
- 13:17Speaker 1: I didn't know where my clothes were. The video shows
- 13:21Speaker 1: how they came off. I went to sleep early because
- 13:23Speaker 1: I was really drunk and woke up with him trying
- 13:26Speaker 1: to put his in me.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Oh.
- 13:30Speaker 1: He told me I helped him get my clothes off.
- 13:33Speaker 1: When I asked him about it in the morning, and
- 13:35Speaker 1: I was so drunk, I believed him and I probably
- 13:38Speaker 1: would have consented to the sex while asleep, because honestly,
- 13:41Speaker 1: I think that's hot, but the video said something different.
- 13:45Speaker 1: He actually took my clothes off. I think waking up
- 13:48Speaker 1: to someone doing sexual acts should be discussed before you
- 13:52Speaker 1: fall asleep, not every time, but at least once to
- 13:55Speaker 1: establish consent. I could really use some advice on how
- 13:58Speaker 1: to handle this situation. I've been I've been in the
- 14:02Speaker 1: past involved with rape and trauma, and this is a
- 14:09Speaker 1: big deal. How can you ask this? I feel like
- 14:12Speaker 1: I'm still in shock.
- 14:14Speaker 2: This one is tricky because this is tricky because you
- 14:18Speaker 2: don't want to seem like I guess you don't want
- 14:20Speaker 2: to victim blame, but at the same time, you don't
- 14:23Speaker 2: want to be like you don't want to diminish it
- 14:25Speaker 2: and be like, girl, you got you drunk and then
- 14:28Speaker 2: been in the bathroom. You know, I'm sorry, went into
- 14:30Speaker 2: the bedroom and then got I don't know, I'm sorry.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Go ahead, first of all, make him delete that motherfucking
- 14:37Speaker 1: video asap.
- 14:38Speaker 2: And any that he may have again.
- 14:41Speaker 1: And let him know that if he pulls some shit
- 14:44Speaker 1: like this again, y'all are done. And I'm sorry, but
- 14:49Speaker 1: police well might have to be involved because that is illegal.
- 14:52Speaker 1: You cannot absolutely not film somebody without their consent, especially
- 14:59Speaker 1: when it comes to things of this nature's And then
- 15:04Speaker 1: it opens the doors to what's that what's that thing
- 15:08Speaker 1: that that they be that they be saying, uh, well,
- 15:12Speaker 1: revengeforn yes, revenge porn, thank you? That opens that door.
- 15:17Speaker 1: So yeah, absolutely not. It's unacceptable. He definitely had no
- 15:24Speaker 1: business doing that with you being drunk and unable to
- 15:27Speaker 1: say yay or nay. That is still bi legal means
- 15:33Speaker 1: a rape. It just depends on how you look at
- 15:38Speaker 1: it and how you feel about it. And I would
- 15:40Speaker 1: go with your gut. If you feel as though this
- 15:43Speaker 1: is something that is a deal breaker and that you
- 15:45Speaker 1: feel like it about it, and you feel like you're
- 15:49Speaker 1: uncomfortable with him, now do what you need to do
- 15:52Speaker 1: to get out of that space. Absolutely. However, on the
- 15:57Speaker 1: flip side, if you feel like this was just a
- 16:00Speaker 1: one time thing and you know he's that type of
- 16:03Speaker 1: person where he's open enough to have a conversation and
- 16:06Speaker 1: really apologize for his stuff and y'all work it out,
- 16:09Speaker 1: that's on you too. It's okay. But whatever you decide,
- 16:13Speaker 1: because at the end of the day, this happened to you,
- 16:15Speaker 1: not him. He's the one who did the thing. Yes,
- 16:18Speaker 1: you got drunk, but being drunk is not a crime.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Being drunk and taking advantage of somebody, it says. Why
- 16:26Speaker 1: So I leave this up to you. Good advice in
- 16:30Speaker 1: your heart and in your gut. Do that. And if
- 16:37Speaker 1: you feel this though, like I said, you need to
- 16:40Speaker 1: head on out a but make sure he deletes that
- 16:47Speaker 1: motherfucking video, bitch, because one things for sure, two things
- 16:51Speaker 1: for sure, you do not want to be on x
- 16:55Speaker 1: dot com and all these little overseas porn sites and stuff,
- 17:00Speaker 1: you know, because once it's on there. It's on there.
- 17:03Speaker 2: True Internet is forever, so until elon make it otherwise.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Add nice to you girl, all right.
- 17:13Speaker 2: This one says dear lyric I'm not good with letters,
- 17:17Speaker 2: so I'll just give you what I'm dealing with. I'm
- 17:19Speaker 2: a black woman, just truly getting back on my feet
- 17:22Speaker 2: after a rough divorce and a shitty job market. Now
- 17:25Speaker 2: imagine yourself as me. You're working in a bustling office.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Bustling okay, the work in a bustling office at a
- 17:34Speaker 2: financial services firm where the atmosphere has become increasingly charged
- 17:38Speaker 2: due to the political climate in twenty twenty five. As
- 17:41Speaker 2: a person of color of a certain age, as they say,
- 17:46Speaker 2: you've been noticing a pattern of microaggressions from some of
- 17:49Speaker 2: your melanin lacking coworkers. Comments like you're so articulate for
- 17:54Speaker 2: somebody with your background, or jokes about your hair that
- 17:56Speaker 2: cross the line from playful to offensive have started a
- 17:59Speaker 2: pile up. You've addressed some of these remarks with lighthearted responses,
- 18:04Speaker 2: hoping to ease tension, but it hasn't stopped. Now. Recently,
- 18:08Speaker 2: during the long term Lunch, I'm sorry, During a teen lunch,
- 18:12Speaker 2: a colleague made a sly remark about how diversity quotas
- 18:16Speaker 2: are filling up seats, which left you feeling frustrated and unsupported.
- 18:22Speaker 2: You want to maintain a positive work environment, but are
- 18:25Speaker 2: unsure how to tackle this issue without escalating tensions or
- 18:29Speaker 2: making it awkward for yourself. So I guess my question
- 18:32Speaker 2: to you is this, I want to address these issues
- 18:35Speaker 2: and stand up for myself, but I also don't want
- 18:38Speaker 2: to create an uncomfortable atmosphere in an already uncomfortable atmosphere
- 18:42Speaker 2: with my coworkers. If it were you in this situation,
- 18:45Speaker 2: how would you handle it? What steps would you take
- 18:47Speaker 2: to address these comments while keeping the peace at work?
- 18:51Speaker 2: Love y'all, signed, not Becky.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Girl, first of all, and I have said this in
- 18:58Speaker 1: the past, but not that many people take advantage of
- 19:03Speaker 1: their HR department as much as they should. Now. I
- 19:09Speaker 1: know some companies have a shitty one. I don't know
- 19:13Speaker 1: what company you work for, where you work, or if
- 19:17Speaker 1: that's a thing for you, but that always should be
- 19:22Speaker 1: the first step. Go to the HR because regardless if
- 19:26Speaker 1: they do anything or not about it, you start in
- 19:29Speaker 1: a paper.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Trail that does start a pick.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Documenting what's been going on yourself and the longer that
- 19:40Speaker 1: HR doesn't do anything, the more you can go over
- 19:44Speaker 1: their head and get them in trouble for it, and
- 19:48Speaker 1: lawsuits can happen. Not only that document for yourself as well.
- 19:54Speaker 1: This is why I keep such good receipts. My mother
- 19:57Speaker 1: has always told me, regardless if it's from the store
- 20:02Speaker 1: or or dealing with people, keep a receipt of your interactions,
- 20:12Speaker 1: especially the negative ones like if you have to screenshot,
- 20:16Speaker 1: like when somebody said this and they're accusing you of something,
- 20:20Speaker 1: or whatever the case might be, keep a receipt so
- 20:23Speaker 1: you can always have something to come back to improve
- 20:26Speaker 1: your case. Okay, I like that when I tell you
- 20:33Speaker 1: this has worked in my everyday life and even currently
- 20:36Speaker 1: with the things that I got going on. Yeah, I
- 20:38Speaker 1: keep a receipt. I don't care if it's three years ago.
- 20:42Speaker 1: That keeps a nice receipt.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Yep, very good. I like that. I like the advice,
- 20:48Speaker 2: and I like the fact that you did say talk
- 20:51Speaker 2: to HR, but keep in mind not Becky, keep in
- 20:54Speaker 2: mind HR is there the company not there to protect you.
- 20:58Speaker 2: So like said, do your due diligence of keeping notes yourself.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Definitely communicate to them, let them know that this is
- 21:06Speaker 2: an ongoing problem. But as far as like holding, because
- 21:11Speaker 2: I think, like a lot of us, we kind of
- 21:14Speaker 2: put the responsibility in HR's hands when we deal with
- 21:19Speaker 2: shit like this. You know what I'm saying, it's sort
- 21:21Speaker 2: of like, Okay, well, HR will deal with it. You
- 21:25Speaker 2: still have to do your part exactly.
- 21:27Speaker 1: And that's a good point you made, you made about
- 21:33Speaker 1: them being there for the company. However, companies don't like lawsuits.
- 21:38Speaker 2: They don't they don't know.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Therefore, it's it's still gonna work in your favor if
- 21:45Speaker 1: you're diligent and keeping your own proceipts. Write down who
- 21:49Speaker 1: said what to whom, time dates, everything, Write all of
- 21:54Speaker 1: that stuff down. Do not engage, because what tip ends
- 22:00Speaker 1: up happening most of the time for people with our
- 22:05Speaker 1: skin tone is that they try to flip the script.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Now you're the youngy black person at work who nobody
- 22:14Speaker 1: you because you've you've finally decided to speak up and
- 22:19Speaker 1: say how you feel about all the microaggressions that's been
- 22:22Speaker 1: going on your way, and now you're labeled, and now
- 22:26Speaker 1: every time you say something you have an attitude, and
- 22:28Speaker 1: now every time you say something you're angry.
- 22:31Speaker 2: They just did that the Auntie Maxine, did you see
- 22:33Speaker 2: that shit? I'm trying to the Department of Education yesterday
- 22:36Speaker 2: they just turned a peaceful protest where they had news
- 22:39Speaker 2: crews and everything to where they were there and they
- 22:42Speaker 2: told them people, we are not a threat. Here are
- 22:45Speaker 2: our Congress credentials, Here is everything that you need to know.
- 22:49Speaker 2: We just need access to the public access part of
- 22:53Speaker 2: the building. And they still turned her into oh she
- 22:58Speaker 2: was harassing this that third articles. So yeah, definitely, yeah, yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 2: just don't engage.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Sometimes saying nothing speaks more for you in certain situations,
- 23:12Speaker 1: not saying a word, but keeping documentation in your mind
- 23:18Speaker 1: or on paper or however you want to do it
- 23:20Speaker 1: speaks volumes because when those receipts pole up and you
- 23:24Speaker 1: go in to turn into evidence, the people are gonna
- 23:26Speaker 1: have to answer for it, whether it's with HR or
- 23:29Speaker 1: in their daily life. Karma loves to spend the block.
- 23:33Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, And sometimes people often wonder, damn,
- 23:38Speaker 1: how come this is happening to me? And this is
- 23:41Speaker 1: going on and this that and the third. Sometimes it's
- 23:43Speaker 1: because of what you say to people. Sometimes it's because
- 23:48Speaker 1: of what you have done to people, of why you're
- 23:51Speaker 1: going through the things that you're going through, So just
- 23:54Speaker 1: keep in mind. That's my advice. I would definitely hr
- 23:59Speaker 1: and keep a daily racket for yourself, and that's what
- 24:02Speaker 1: I would do. Tune in next week to the Shenanigans
- 24:07Speaker 1: of this segment and again Lyric Bravado at gmail dot
- 24:10Speaker 1: com if you want to get some advice on your situation,
- 24:16Speaker 1: friendship and everything in between.
- 24:20Speaker 2: All right, all right, up next trolling to Tamla, be
- 24:23Speaker 2: right back.
- 24:24Speaker 9: Do you ever hear about the black man that infiltrated
- 24:26Speaker 9: the KKK and he walked away with a membership card?
- 24:29Speaker 10: That happened? They made a movie about it.
- 24:31Speaker 9: Meet ron Stalworth and what he exposed It still matters today.
- 24:36Speaker 9: In nineteen seventy eight, ron Stalworth was the first black
- 24:39Speaker 9: detective in Colorado Springs. But you know nineteen seventy eight racism.
- 24:43Speaker 10: They stuck him in the records room.
- 24:46Speaker 9: One day he saw a clan recruitment ad in the
- 24:48Speaker 9: paper and as a joke, he called it and he
- 24:51Speaker 9: pretended to be a white racist and those idiots fell
- 24:54Speaker 9: for it. The KKK invited him to join, but obviously
- 24:58Speaker 9: he couldn't show up in person. He pulled off the
- 25:00Speaker 9: greatest Khan in police history. In my opinion, while he
- 25:04Speaker 9: played the voice of ron Stalworth, his white partner played
- 25:07Speaker 9: the face. They tricked the Klan into revealing plans for
- 25:10Speaker 9: violent attacks. They confirmed that the Klan had police officers
- 25:13Speaker 9: a military in its ranks.
- 25:15Speaker 10: He even got close to the KKK.
- 25:16Speaker 9: Grand Wizard David Duke, who had no idea he was
- 25:19Speaker 9: talking to a black man.
- 25:21Speaker 10: Fucking idiots.
- 25:22Speaker 9: Stalworth didn't just find out about the Klan, he exposed
- 25:25Speaker 9: just how far the reach went. Clan members weren't just
- 25:28Speaker 9: rule extremists, as you know. They led us to believe
- 25:31Speaker 9: they were police officers, politician and military leaders.
- 25:34Speaker 10: He learned that local officers were leaking information to the Klan.
- 25:37Speaker 10: In his reports, they stopped at least two attacks before
- 25:40Speaker 10: they could happen. But when it came time to take
- 25:42Speaker 10: real action course cover up plans on the table, the
- 25:45Speaker 10: Klan didn't just go away. They took off their hoods
- 25:48Speaker 10: and put on badges and suits and political titles. They
- 25:51Speaker 10: infiltrated police departments, the courtroom, and the military. Of course,
- 25:56Speaker 10: they don't need secret meetings anymore because they work inside
- 25:59Speaker 10: the system. And ron Stalworth he proved it before most
- 26:03Speaker 10: people were even willing to admit it happened. Stal Wars
- 26:06Speaker 10: investigation should have set off alarms about how deep white
- 26:09Speaker 10: supremacy is in America, But instead of dismantling the Klan,
- 26:13Speaker 10: the government ignored his findings. Instead of exposing the clan
- 26:17Speaker 10: members in power, they let them keep their jobs. Instead
- 26:20Speaker 10: of learning from history, they repeated it. And now we're
- 26:24Speaker 10: still dealing with white supremacy in police forces, politics, and
- 26:27Speaker 10: the government. Today, ron Stalwart pulled back the curtain. What's
- 26:32Speaker 10: our next move? Say his name ron Stalworth.
- 26:37Speaker 2: And we're black. Time to troll the timeline? Miss lyric ladies, First,
- 26:43Speaker 2: what you got? What do we care about this week?
- 26:46Speaker 1: Well? Well, well what do we have here? It looks
- 26:49Speaker 1: like Letitia James sues Trump administration over Lawn Musk's access
- 26:55Speaker 1: the americans private data and wins the core battle. Ah Yeah,
- 27:06Speaker 1: who the fuck elected this motherfucker?
- 27:10Speaker 2: Up? Not I that's up there?
- 27:14Speaker 1: What ballid was he on?
- 27:15Speaker 11: Like?
- 27:16Speaker 1: For real? I keep on seeing people in the comments
- 27:19Speaker 1: like really pissing me off, like basically trying to act
- 27:23Speaker 1: like this is not a big deal, Like you y'all
- 27:25Speaker 1: don't understand how huge this is, And not enough people
- 27:28Speaker 1: are mad about it. To be honest, in my opinion,
- 27:33Speaker 1: what are your thoughts about this?
- 27:35Speaker 2: I like, I said, well, okay, so like we talked
- 27:39Speaker 2: about offline, but with Elon, it there's no reason. What
- 27:44Speaker 2: is the DOGE? What is that Department of Government Efficiency? What? Doggie?
- 27:49Speaker 2: What the fuck is it? Douche is what it should
- 27:51Speaker 2: be called, because this nigga does not like Okay, you're
- 27:55Speaker 2: storming in government offices, taking over and doing nothing like
- 28:01Speaker 2: your take these This is people's sensitive information. And here's
- 28:06Speaker 2: the thing. When we grant that to the government, or
- 28:11Speaker 2: when we when the government assigns it to us, however
- 28:14Speaker 2: it works. Never is like it's locked up. It's there
- 28:18Speaker 2: for a reason, national security, people's personal security. There are
- 28:23Speaker 2: conflicting interests. He has access over competitors with him not
- 28:27Speaker 2: being a government employee, with him not signing non compete agreement.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Like there's a whole bunch of shit that just breaks
- 28:35Speaker 2: the law and all of this. It's sort of like
- 28:37Speaker 2: what Jasmine Crockett talks about how she's an attorney but
- 28:40Speaker 2: she can't practice law because she's currently serving under Congress.
- 28:45Speaker 2: It's that same thing. Elon should not have financial access,
- 28:50Speaker 2: I'm sorry, should not have even read only access to
- 28:54Speaker 2: his competitors financial information.
- 28:56Speaker 1: You shouldn't.
- 28:59Speaker 2: It's an ethical it's trash, this whole doze thing, a.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Show that people really do have privilege. First of all,
- 29:13Speaker 1: he's not even an American citizen. He's white, and he
- 29:19Speaker 1: just happens to be rich, one of the world's richest men.
- 29:25Speaker 1: So the fuck what. That still doesn't give him the
- 29:29Speaker 1: authority to do whatever the fuck he wanted do. Y'all
- 29:33Speaker 1: just Fried that. I can't remember his name, but I'll
- 29:39Speaker 1: circle back to it if I get it. Just Fried,
- 29:43Speaker 1: the young black guy who was performing doctor stuff on
- 29:50Speaker 1: them women and actually was helping them but didn't have
- 29:54Speaker 1: didn't have a degree in it, never went to school
- 29:58Speaker 1: for it. But he was pro to sing medicine without
- 30:01Speaker 1: a license, but actually helping the women, actually really helping them.
- 30:08Speaker 2: And you're talking about the one that posed as Now
- 30:12Speaker 2: this was back in twenty eighteen, so I don't know
- 30:14Speaker 2: what you're talking about. I tried to google it. I
- 30:16Speaker 2: don't see what you're talking about, young black man performing
- 30:19Speaker 2: Now that was a teenager.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I'll look it at but it happened. It's the same thing, like, no,
- 30:28Speaker 1: just because you know certain things or you have the
- 30:30Speaker 1: ability to do stuff. No, you still have to do
- 30:33Speaker 1: what you need to do to be able to gain
- 30:35Speaker 1: access to certain things, and the same the same, right,
- 30:39Speaker 1: So I am really glad that they have to now
- 30:42Speaker 1: destroy everything that they have obtained because fuck that his name. Look,
- 30:52Speaker 1: I don't care. I do care, but for my point,
- 30:57Speaker 1: I don't care which side you'vevoted for. He wasn't on
- 31:02Speaker 1: either ballot he was, So why are we here? I
- 31:07Speaker 1: need to wake up, y'all, really did wake the fuck
- 31:10Speaker 1: up and see what's going on? Well, and stop facing
- 31:15Speaker 1: your shit off of him allowing TikTok because I seen
- 31:19Speaker 1: that shit too, You like, come on, yeah, Trump Trump,
- 31:23Speaker 1: Trump's a good president because he didn't shut down TikTok.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Get the fuck out of my face with that lamb
- 31:28Speaker 1: at because I don't give a fuck about a TikTok.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I give a fuck about whether I'm gonna be able
- 31:35Speaker 1: to get Social Security when I turned sixty five because
- 31:39Speaker 1: they trying to cancel that shit out. I'm worried about
- 31:43Speaker 1: people having resources because now they're trying to cancel out
- 31:46Speaker 1: the Department of Education.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I'm worried about going to the seven or eleven to
- 31:50Speaker 2: pick up my morning coffee, swiping my cart and finding
- 31:52Speaker 2: out that I have a zero balance because somebody from
- 31:55Speaker 2: a doze security leak has gained access to my personal
- 32:00Speaker 2: banking information and now I'm fucked. That's what I care about. Yeah,
- 32:05Speaker 2: just saying, speaking of people whose name is trash, did
- 32:09Speaker 2: you hear about uh Nellie can getting snammed? Okay? Headline
- 32:20Speaker 2: and bill Board bill Board one of my favorite websites,
- 32:23Speaker 2: head blind Rage, Janelle Money bless Nelly for trump inaugural
- 32:27Speaker 2: performance at Grammy after party. Listen, so picture of this right, Janelle,
- 32:33Speaker 2: the Queen of funk and fabulousness? Well, actually, what is
- 32:37Speaker 2: are Janelle's pronouns? They then? Or Okay? Just making sure.
- 32:45Speaker 2: So she recently decided to throw some shade at both
- 32:48Speaker 2: Nellie and Donald Trump in away that only she can so.
- 32:51Speaker 2: In a recent interview, she already called out Nelly for
- 32:55Speaker 2: performing at Trump's inauguration back in the day. Well, Janelle
- 32:58Speaker 2: didn't hold back, saying she felt it was a huge
- 33:00Speaker 2: mistake for anyone in the music industry to align with
- 33:04Speaker 2: Trump's divisive politics. She's basically saying, come on, Nellie, what
- 33:08Speaker 2: are you thinking? So thanks took an awful turn at
- 33:12Speaker 2: a at one of these industry parties after the Grammys.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Hmmm, didn't like Nelly, but.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I like Nelly? And what did he say? But she.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Said, I used to like Nelly, but then he went
- 33:47Speaker 1: to perform for Donald Trump.
- 33:49Speaker 2: That's what it was. Did you see him in the crowd?
- 33:52Speaker 2: You could have bought he was done. He was looking
- 33:57Speaker 2: around him and ship. He was clearly embarrassed, as he
- 34:00Speaker 2: should be, like, how dare you like we as I
- 34:05Speaker 2: know I've spent money and I think I've said this before. Yeah,
- 34:08Speaker 2: and for you to be a celebrity, to be celebrated,
- 34:12Speaker 2: to be put on a stage of where you are
- 34:16Speaker 2: in front of the world. We did that as a community.
- 34:21Speaker 1: But that's not.
- 34:24Speaker 2: I know, but go ahead.
- 34:30Speaker 1: She said, fuck that, nigga. I don't give a fuck.
- 34:36Speaker 1: People see that. It's free style over his hot in here.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Didn't see that, a lord, thank you for pulling that
- 34:45Speaker 2: because I completely lost my bookmark on that. But that shot.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Me.
- 34:52Speaker 1: And then she said, Nelly, you sold out. I used
- 34:55Speaker 1: to think he was cool, but now you look like
- 34:57Speaker 1: a motherfucking fool. Yep, get a new attitude.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Was the best black women y'all are letting niggas have it,
- 35:09Speaker 2: and I love it because they need to be held
- 35:13Speaker 2: accountable again. Like I said, we put you on these
- 35:17Speaker 2: platforms to be able to represent us. For you to
- 35:21Speaker 2: then turn your back on the community, literally to choose
- 35:25Speaker 2: money over us, it's your ass now, fuck you. So
- 35:33Speaker 2: since you did that one. Speaking of the Grammys, Yancey Kendrick,
- 35:41Speaker 2: talk to me about my two faves. What's going on
- 35:45Speaker 2: all right? Music lovers? Twenty five Grammy Awards. I don't
- 35:51Speaker 2: know if you saw it, but I definitely did. Well.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I watched the clips because I will. At first, I
- 35:57Speaker 2: refuse to actually watch the Grammy because yeah, it's what
- 36:02Speaker 2: it is. But niggas won. Mine was talking, so I went.
- 36:07Speaker 2: According to Prestige on the Line magazine, they say that
- 36:12Speaker 2: it was fierce. They said the spotlight well beyond on Beyonce,
- 36:15Speaker 2: who finally snagged the coveted Album of the Year award
- 36:19Speaker 2: for My Boy. Yes, did you see how cute she
- 36:23Speaker 2: was when she won the award? And how surprise that
- 36:26Speaker 2: was so briant, that was so genuine.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I was crying she did that?
- 36:32Speaker 2: She did? But I doze off, like.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Was it me? What happened?
- 36:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 36:41Speaker 1: And then Blue and then Blue was like, come on, mom,
- 36:45Speaker 1: like they called you like, go and get your word.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 36:53Speaker 2: It was it was so cute. And just the fact
- 36:56Speaker 2: that she woned after all of this backlash from everybody
- 37:01Speaker 2: hating on Cowboy Carter being shunned by the Country Music
- 37:05Speaker 2: Awards man that that did my heart a good one,
- 37:09Speaker 2: especially in a time like this. But Kendrick Lamar, five
- 37:12Speaker 2: of them, five had all wah wah wah wah wah,
- 37:24Speaker 2: not like us.
- 37:26Speaker 1: The greatest part of me watching that clip.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Back, don't talk about that white okay, No, The greatest.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Part of the whole entire clip of him walking to
- 37:42Speaker 1: the stage was the entire Grammy audience singing, a minor,
- 37:51Speaker 1: can I tell you that she took me out?
- 37:55Speaker 11: I was crying because not you got the Grammy go
- 38:01Speaker 11: out in the baddest ball gowns and all types of shit.
- 38:05Speaker 2: All the white people.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Down there is thinking a minors don when I tell
- 38:14Speaker 1: you it.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Grow?
- 38:19Speaker 1: And that right there, it was.
- 38:22Speaker 2: It was. It was everything because it's everything that you
- 38:25Speaker 2: said on top of you having a goddamn lawsuit out
- 38:29Speaker 2: on this song. So fuck you too, yep. Pedophiles twenty
- 38:34Speaker 2: twenty five not making it Trump supported twenty twenty five,
- 38:38Speaker 2: not making all y'all bitches is on the chop block.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Fuck y'all, Oh, fuck ass niggas. I can't stand people.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Uh all right, did you see what they were talking
- 38:52Speaker 2: about about Jaden? Who jaden'smith? Well? Did you just pull
- 39:00Speaker 2: a market? Why?
- 39:06Speaker 1: Why?
- 39:08Speaker 2: No?
- 39:08Speaker 1: Why?
- 39:09Speaker 2: I want to know what should?
- 39:11Speaker 1: I don't like that whole family, to be honest with you.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Okay, so it's not Jade in particular, it's just.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Them and the bullshit. No, we'll get after just talking.
- 39:24Speaker 2: You know. Of course they talk in trash because I
- 39:26Speaker 2: mean he does. They they're weird, they really, I mean,
- 39:30Speaker 2: were not weird in a bad way. They're just they're different.
- 39:33Speaker 2: And they do challenge the status bo a lot. They do,
- 39:37Speaker 2: then they don't. They do not do the social norms.
- 39:41Speaker 2: So he showed up to the red carpet with a
- 39:46Speaker 2: with a with a house on its head and like no,
- 39:50Speaker 2: wicked witch, like like I don't know the castle? Did
- 39:53Speaker 2: you see it?
- 39:55Speaker 1: Uh? No?
- 39:56Speaker 2: I did not.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I could see something worse.
- 39:59Speaker 2: What did you say that could have been worse?
- 40:01Speaker 1: This is what could have been worse? Did you not
- 40:04Speaker 1: see Kanye West's wife come out the house. But ass
- 40:08Speaker 1: fucking nicked.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Oh, I wasn't even talking about that. I'm talking about who.
- 40:12Speaker 2: That's what I say.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Okay, we believed up in here. We were owls in
- 40:17Speaker 1: this bitch.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Nobody one of the little who runs.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Here.
- 40:26Speaker 2: That's because that one between that one and then that
- 40:30Speaker 2: that who white girl that was sitting there t working,
- 40:33Speaker 2: they're not like that. Did you see that?
- 40:36Speaker 1: I did saw that.
- 40:38Speaker 2: That little she tried to twitch. I'll give it to her.
- 40:42Speaker 2: She was, it was all right, you know, final four role.
- 40:47Speaker 1: The only reason why I ain't gonna say nothing is
- 40:49Speaker 1: because one thing I did see is her showing love
- 40:52Speaker 1: to all of the artists who won, and they looked genuine.
- 40:57Speaker 2: You know what. Honestly, I'm going to you maybe open
- 41:02Speaker 2: the idea of smiling in her direction because she did
- 41:08Speaker 2: speak out against Trump on that whole creepy cat Lady
- 41:12Speaker 2: com you know comment and all that, and she has
- 41:16Speaker 2: been an ally. So you know what, maybe I won't
- 41:22Speaker 2: that because today I don't know something about the whites. Whites,
- 41:34Speaker 2: you got anything else? What you got?
- 41:36Speaker 1: I do speaking of, I can't think of anything clever.
- 41:42Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna say IRV Gotti is dead y'all
- 41:45Speaker 1: A yeah, IRV Godi then went to the upper room.
- 41:50Speaker 1: He didn't had a stroke and he unfortunately did not
- 41:54Speaker 1: survive and he passed away at the young Because fifty
- 42:00Speaker 1: is not old. Fifty four, I just have to say,
- 42:07Speaker 1: murder inc That whole error was such a vibe for me.
- 42:11Speaker 1: You just you definitely just had to be there when
- 42:15Speaker 1: their time of rain was popping. It was hot thing,
- 42:22Speaker 1: radio play all over, the visuals to the music videos.
- 42:27Speaker 1: It was a time.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yep, even your hips, your smile.
- 42:34Speaker 1: All that, it was a time. And so I know
- 42:39Speaker 1: that you hear him and Ashanti have been you know,
- 42:42Speaker 1: not on the greatest of terms because they used to
- 42:45Speaker 1: date and then shit went weird, and you know, he
- 42:49Speaker 1: just kept saying her in the interviews and he had
- 42:52Speaker 1: a wife and all that. This fuck all the bullshit aside.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Let's talk about the greatness in this man who was
- 43:01Speaker 1: able to put these people out there for the masses
- 43:08Speaker 1: and create an iconic moment in our culture. Let's talk
- 43:13Speaker 1: about that, okay, because what I did not appreciate was
- 43:18Speaker 1: fifty cent. I don't really fuck with that nigga like
- 43:20Speaker 1: that who exactly because you know, one thing about it
- 43:27Speaker 1: is I don't care what a person has done. I
- 43:31Speaker 1: was always raised and don't speak ill of the dead.
- 43:34Speaker 1: They're dead. Why are you making jokes about him passing
- 43:38Speaker 1: on your Instagram?
- 43:40Speaker 12: Sir?
- 43:40Speaker 2: Wait? What did he said? Sorry, I don't follow fifty norms.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I don't follow him either, but I just saw a
- 43:48Speaker 1: post about somebody saying that he said it. So I
- 43:52Speaker 1: went to, you know, go fact check and see if
- 43:55Speaker 1: he really said some Dama asked shit, and he did,
- 43:57Speaker 1: And I was like, really disappointed because I know he
- 44:00Speaker 1: often speaks his mind and he says things for shock value,
- 44:05Speaker 1: but this is one of those things that I didn't
- 44:08Speaker 1: think that he would like do. So he basically was like, damn,
- 44:11Speaker 1: I wanted him around to see my new shows coming out. Wow,
- 44:15Speaker 1: FU cares about your shows? Like that man had kids,
- 44:20Speaker 1: That man had family who loved it, and for you
- 44:23Speaker 1: to sit there and make a joke about him dying
- 44:25Speaker 1: is fucking awful.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I see the I see the article. According
- 44:31Speaker 2: to Yahoo Entertainment says, fifty has responded to reports of
- 44:34Speaker 2: IRV God he suffering a stroke controversial post on Instagram.
- 44:38Speaker 2: He poked fun at his condition with the sarcastic post
- 44:44Speaker 2: is no law. It's no stranger to controversy. See, that's
- 44:48Speaker 2: problematic in and of itself. Wow. In his Captain he wrote, damn,
- 44:55Speaker 2: I wanted him to see my new shows. Yo. See wow.
- 45:00Speaker 2: He literally said that. Wow.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Ain't that fucked up? While his children have to see
- 45:06Speaker 1: that shit. People often forget like these people be having
- 45:10Speaker 1: families and I don't care about your beef. But once
- 45:12Speaker 1: a man is gone, he's gone, and his kids have
- 45:15Speaker 1: to see that fifty Wow, that was their dad that
- 45:21Speaker 1: they're never going to see again. Like some things I
- 45:26Speaker 1: just feel like should be off limits.
- 45:29Speaker 2: I've never seen it fifty since whole weird face ass,
- 45:31Speaker 2: So I mean, it is what it is. We care
- 45:35Speaker 2: about anything else? You got something? Now?
- 45:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to think, is there something? Did anybody else.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Pass away this week?
- 45:44Speaker 1: Hm?
- 45:44Speaker 2: I don't know. When you've got planes running into one another,
- 45:47Speaker 2: you've got shit falling up at the sky, landing here
- 45:51Speaker 2: sucking up, I don't know.
- 45:54Speaker 1: It's so much rest in peace to the families who
- 45:58Speaker 1: lost their lives during both of those tragic events, all
- 46:03Speaker 1: of them. I see. I have been busy, so I
- 46:08Speaker 1: haven't seen anything but the one in DC and the
- 46:12Speaker 1: one in Philadelphia. But anybody who has passed, who's had
- 46:18Speaker 1: family who's passed away in the recent plane incidents, condoneences
- 46:23Speaker 1: to you and your family.
- 46:25Speaker 2: And shout outs to my friends also that are tenants.
- 46:28Speaker 2: I know y'all have got to be going through it.
- 46:30Speaker 2: I'm not trying to dog call on you, but my
- 46:32Speaker 2: prayers are with you, because that is a hell of
- 46:34Speaker 2: a job to have. Right now, it's literally raining planes
- 46:37Speaker 2: and we got this nag out here talking about is
- 46:39Speaker 2: the as fault? The fuck? All right? So I guess
- 46:44Speaker 2: that wraps up. Are trolling for this week of next
- 46:48Speaker 2: wee season.
- 46:48Speaker 13: Behavior right back feels as if y'all have just decided
- 46:52Speaker 13: that y'all are going to castraight your constitutional duty and
- 46:56Speaker 13: hand it over to someone who is unelected. It doesn't
- 46:59Speaker 13: matter how many cheern lead he had on the fields
- 47:01Speaker 13: campaigning for him. That doesn't mean that he gets to
- 47:05Speaker 13: go in and sit atop any of our agencies. And
- 47:08Speaker 13: the fact that we had a vote today and we
- 47:11Speaker 13: asked to bring him in because we have a constitutional duty.
- 47:14Speaker 13: We all took our oath and maybe some of y'all
- 47:17Speaker 13: just don't take it seriously, but I take it seriously
- 47:19Speaker 13: when I take an oath to do a job, and
- 47:21Speaker 13: my job is to look out and make sure that.
- 47:24Speaker 1: We don't have any kings or queens in this country.
- 47:26Speaker 13: But it seems like y'all have decided that it's going
- 47:29Speaker 13: to be mister king and his queen, and y'all can
- 47:33Speaker 13: pick which one is which.
- 47:35Speaker 5: I'm gonna talk about the Grammys real quick. I might
- 47:37Speaker 5: be a little late because I didn't have internet. I
- 47:40Speaker 5: was overseas, and what I did not expect is this
- 47:47Speaker 5: conversation around the legend Beyonce. Did we forget? Is motherfucking Beyonce.
- 47:57Speaker 5: I feel like the whole Internet needs a whooped in
- 47:59Speaker 5: right now. Y'all need to be put in time out.
- 48:04Speaker 5: This award was well deserved. Stop one pretending like y'all, oh,
- 48:10Speaker 5: I can't name one song off the album I didn't
- 48:13Speaker 5: know Beyonce released an album Girl. If you're on the internet,
- 48:18Speaker 5: you heard Texas Hold Them probably the most viral dance
- 48:24Speaker 5: of the year. Name one that was more viral? Go
- 48:26Speaker 5: play Texas? Only have the t you stop lying?
- 48:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 48:33Speaker 5: Secondly, lastly, most importantly, thank god you. Listening to an
- 48:38Speaker 5: album doesn't determine whether or not it gets Album of
- 48:41Speaker 5: the year, y'all really don't piss me off.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Largs has your glib.
- 48:51Speaker 2: Without All right, so we're back. And in my lifetime
- 48:55Speaker 2: I've met some really stupid people, and I mean dumb lyrics.
- 49:00Speaker 2: So depending on where and how you were raised, I
- 49:03Speaker 2: can believe, I really can. I can believe that there
- 49:07Speaker 2: are a few that were fooled by you know, that
- 49:10Speaker 2: orange stain in the White House that our black ancestors
- 49:13Speaker 2: felt anyway, But what I'm seeing discussed much less online
- 49:20Speaker 2: are the circumstances that got us here. Everybody's mad, everybody's
- 49:24Speaker 2: you know, speaking out, everybody's speaking out against the things
- 49:28Speaker 2: that he's doing, But nobody's talking about what actually got
- 49:33Speaker 2: us here, because I can almost guarantee you if he
- 49:38Speaker 2: were no I can actually guarantee you if he were
- 49:41Speaker 2: a felon of any other variety, he would not have
- 49:46Speaker 2: faded to that allible office. Bitch. Don't get me wrong,
- 49:49Speaker 2: That fool has got to go. But what's stopping another
- 49:52Speaker 2: person with the same agenda from just picking up from
- 49:55Speaker 2: where he left off. It's the buttons that he pushed.
- 50:00Speaker 2: That's what it is. Equity, diversity, inclusion. Why does the
- 50:06Speaker 2: mention of these words somehow trigger bad decisions that the
- 50:09Speaker 2: voting poles for people, because I refuse to believe that
- 50:13Speaker 2: an entire demographic of folks that lived through his first
- 50:16Speaker 2: circus heard lower eggs, cut the TV off, and investigated
- 50:21Speaker 2: no further, like it just it didn't happen. What it
- 50:26Speaker 2: sounds like to me is that you heard things that
- 50:30Speaker 2: you felt like had no impact on your personal set
- 50:34Speaker 2: of circumstances and you simply didn't care. But surprise, surprise,
- 50:39Speaker 2: leg cot fully up into the air. Here we sit, bitch,
- 50:43Speaker 2: it does it affects you? So now we're starting to
- 50:46Speaker 2: see all these videos of voters with the roof well
- 50:49Speaker 2: I'm sorry with a regret, and like far too many
- 50:52Speaker 2: of them for me are blaming it on ignorance. They're like,
- 50:55Speaker 2: oh my god, Becky, I didn't know. I mean, I
- 50:59Speaker 2: thought Trump is going to lower the princes and that's
- 51:01Speaker 2: why I did. I saw this one video, right, did
- 51:04Speaker 2: you see the video on YouTube of the teacher that
- 51:09Speaker 2: was not talking about Yeah, I voted for Trump because
- 51:11Speaker 2: I thought that he was going to do this, that
- 51:13Speaker 2: and a third, and now he's eliminating Department of Education.
- 51:17Speaker 2: First off, that you are a teacher, you're teaching people,
- 51:21Speaker 2: so I would assume that reading is something that you
- 51:24Speaker 2: are good at, which you have clearly demonstrated that you're not.
- 51:28Speaker 2: And I feel like a lot of this is I
- 51:33Speaker 2: don't know. I'm going off on a tangent. Let me
- 51:35Speaker 2: get back to the point that I'm making. You can
- 51:38Speaker 2: continue the rules and look crazy to me and the
- 51:41Speaker 2: rest of the internet, or you could sit down with
- 51:43Speaker 2: some qualified individuals and start to unpack your own insecurities
- 51:48Speaker 2: and figure out how you got there. For a lot
- 51:50Speaker 2: of them too. Many of y'all love absolving yourselves of
- 51:54Speaker 2: any and everything slave related, and I'm talking about white people.
- 52:00Speaker 2: And you absolve yourself of the slave slave related stuff.
- 52:05Speaker 2: You won't accept the history of your ancestors. And I
- 52:09Speaker 2: get it, don't get me wrong, I get it. There's
- 52:12Speaker 2: a lot to say for guilt. But today, in this day,
- 52:15Speaker 2: where you are aware and capable, you actually can do something.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Changed the narrative you could have before, But now you
- 52:25Speaker 2: have to get up. There is no sitting back and
- 52:29Speaker 2: waiting for somebody to do it. Because I tell you this,
- 52:31Speaker 2: Black people aren't going to.
- 52:32Speaker 7: Do it for you.
- 52:34Speaker 2: We can't do it for you. And I'm seeing all
- 52:36Speaker 2: of these videos of white people waking up, and there's
- 52:39Speaker 2: a whole support groups now of surviving maga. Have you
- 52:43Speaker 2: seen them support groups?
- 52:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I see them on I see him. They have
- 52:48Speaker 1: like a giant on Facebook. Yeah, no, you lean on that.
- 52:54Speaker 2: So no, but I've heard several people have send me
- 52:57Speaker 2: screenshots and I'm like, oh my god, look at this
- 52:59Speaker 2: step and the third and I it's not funny. It's funny.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Not funny. It is funny because.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Hilarious to me. And I'll tell you why when you're finished.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Go ahead, I want to hear it.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I'm laughing because we told you, We fucking told you,
- 53:21Speaker 1: We begged, we asked, he showed evidence, We gave you
- 53:27Speaker 1: every inch of possibility for you to make a better choice,
- 53:34Speaker 1: and still you said, fuck all that, I'm going to
- 53:42Speaker 1: vote for this thing. He cares. He's gonna do something
- 53:47Speaker 1: for me in my community. Motherfucker. Is no day one.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Fuck you and your community. And it's so wild because.
- 53:58Speaker 2: He's not doing anything that he.
- 54:01Speaker 1: On my TikTok that's going around now, it's the Hispanic
- 54:05Speaker 1: people who have decided to vote for him are now
- 54:08Speaker 1: asking help from the black community.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Now, when I tell you these videos have sent me
- 54:16Speaker 1: into a frenzy.
- 54:19Speaker 2: I've seen so many.
- 54:20Speaker 1: And you know what, they keep playing this video of
- 54:26Speaker 1: that salsa band that performed for him. Responses, I get
- 54:37Speaker 1: when I tell you, that is the funniest thing, because
- 54:40Speaker 1: we're not no no, no, no, no no. You don't
- 54:43Speaker 1: get to circle back. You should have did what we said.
- 54:47Speaker 1: We gave you every bit of information that you needed
- 54:50Speaker 1: to make a better decision. He said, he's gonna send
- 54:54Speaker 1: you and a blame in your abela back to Mexico,
- 54:58Speaker 1: even if you've never been. He's gonna make sure that
- 55:01Speaker 1: he sends you and your family back for y'all, all
- 55:05Speaker 1: of them paying taxes. He don't give a motherfuck. I
- 55:10Speaker 1: just read an article about this man who has been
- 55:13Speaker 1: putting his daughter through nursing school. Ice came to his
- 55:18Speaker 1: house looking for somebody totally fucking different. He wasn't able
- 55:22Speaker 1: to provide his documents, and they snatched his ass up.
- 55:26Speaker 1: And now his daughter is asking help from the public
- 55:30Speaker 1: to help you get her dad some help. These are
- 55:33Speaker 1: things that we've said over and over again throughout the
- 55:37Speaker 1: entire election that this is gonna happen. This man is
- 55:41Speaker 1: not playing when he said he's gonna do all of
- 55:44Speaker 1: this stuff. We told y'all. Project twenty twenty five was
- 55:47Speaker 1: a thing. We told y'all that this is where you
- 55:50Speaker 1: could read it. He's lying about even not knowing what
- 55:55Speaker 1: it was about. He in fact broke some things on it.
- 56:00Speaker 5: He did.
- 56:01Speaker 1: We provided that information too. Y'all still all past that bullshit.
- 56:06Speaker 1: It said no, no, no, and bitch, he showed you
- 56:13Speaker 1: what type of friend he was. So don't come looking
- 56:15Speaker 1: for the black community to come save y'all, because, first
- 56:18Speaker 1: of all, we're not twenty four fucking seven for people
- 56:22Speaker 1: who refuse to listen to us.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Almost choke. That accent almost took me out.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I'm so sorry, but I'm not because this is what
- 56:33Speaker 1: you have to deal with. Now. You can feel like
- 56:36Speaker 1: a nigga like the rest of us.
- 56:38Speaker 2: I mean, and we are used to nigga. So at
- 56:40Speaker 2: this point, that's why you don't see the I guess
- 56:44Speaker 2: the response that you thought that you would get from
- 56:46Speaker 2: black people because black people, we nothing has really changed
- 56:50Speaker 2: that much yet for us. You just I mean, white
- 56:52Speaker 2: people are just feeling more embold than to call us
- 56:54Speaker 2: niggas now. I mean, it don't mean that they don't
- 56:57Speaker 2: get their ass booked any less.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Don't is him trying to tear down everything that this
- 57:03Speaker 1: country has set forth, and it's not just for black people,
- 57:07Speaker 1: it's for you know, all of the minorities you know,
- 57:13Speaker 1: and he's and that's just another slap in the face.
- 57:16Speaker 1: So I mean, y'all just need to wake up, do
- 57:19Speaker 1: your research, and stop depending on these trolls on the
- 57:24Speaker 1: Internet and their little fake ass information that they keep
- 57:28Speaker 1: on posting to get y'all to believe in the bullshit
- 57:31Speaker 1: dude reasons for yourself. There's too much valagy there for
- 57:34Speaker 1: y'all to remain ignorant.
- 57:36Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. I'll give y' all this as
- 57:38Speaker 2: I close this segment off, but I will give you this.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Go to YouTube and look up Maxine Water yesterday at
- 57:44Speaker 2: the we're recording on what is this February eighth, yeahruy, Saturday,
- 57:49Speaker 2: February eighth. Go and look at the protests that took
- 57:53Speaker 2: place yesterday and just look up the whole protest, not
- 57:56Speaker 2: the news version. Look up what people were videoing on
- 58:02Speaker 2: YouTube of the protests yesterday at the Department of Education,
- 58:07Speaker 2: and then go to outlets like Fox News. Then go
- 58:12Speaker 2: to outlets like what was that article that I sent you, No,
- 58:18Speaker 2: it wasn't you that I sent yesterday. I sent it
- 58:20Speaker 2: to my sister daily Mail and the headline on daily
- 58:27Speaker 2: Mail reads mob of Democrats harasses loans government worker blocking
- 58:34Speaker 2: them from the Education Department building. Like when you see
- 58:38Speaker 2: things like that versus what you actually see. And I
- 58:42Speaker 2: talked about it last segment, But just go look for yourself.
- 58:47Speaker 2: That's what we mean by research. I don't mean crack
- 58:50Speaker 2: open a history book. When we say do your research.
- 58:53Speaker 2: We mean look at unedited, like, look at stuff that
- 58:58Speaker 2: is outside of a new platform. And I'm talking to
- 59:01Speaker 2: all of them, outside of MSNBC, outside of CNN, outside
- 59:06Speaker 2: of Fox. Look at the actual footage of what happened.
- 59:09Speaker 2: See what is being done for yourself, and then compare
- 59:13Speaker 2: it to the headlines that you read. That is doing
- 59:16Speaker 2: your research, and I think that you will notice a
- 59:19Speaker 2: very significant difference for a lot of you. You really will.
- 59:23Speaker 2: And I mean that's just it, that's all, and it's
- 59:26Speaker 2: very simple. Y'all can ultimately pass this baggage off on
- 59:30Speaker 2: whatever emotions, guilt, whatever it is that you have on
- 59:35Speaker 2: down for generations more to deal with, or you can
- 59:41Speaker 2: stop it here today. It starts with de up next
- 59:45Speaker 2: second half of the show, We'll be right back.
- 59:48Speaker 14: Y'all want to know why they hate that we celebrate
- 59:50Speaker 14: Black History Month. It's because Black history is a constant
- 59:53Speaker 14: reminder that their ancestors were the bad guys. All Black
- 59:57Speaker 14: History is is us overcoming the eyes their answerts was
- 1:00:01Speaker 14: put in front of us. Imagine if they had a
- 1:00:03Speaker 14: White History Month, right, what role would we play in
- 1:00:06Speaker 14: White History Month other than we were the ones to
- 1:00:09Speaker 14: help y'all achieve the things that y'all achieved. There's no
- 1:00:12Speaker 14: part of white history where we would be the ones
- 1:00:15Speaker 14: that helped white people back from doing anything. But all
- 1:00:18Speaker 14: Black History Month is white people put all of these
- 1:00:22Speaker 14: barriers in front of Black people, and we overcame them.
- 1:00:25Speaker 14: We achieved all of this greatness despite being the ones
- 1:00:28Speaker 14: that were being abused and mistreated and who were doing
- 1:00:33Speaker 14: the abusing and the mistreatment white people.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: So they don't like.
- 1:00:36Speaker 14: The fact that, you know, us celebrating our history is
- 1:00:39Speaker 14: just a reminder that, you know, dang, they they they
- 1:00:42Speaker 14: was the bad Nobody wants to be the bad guy.
- 1:00:44Speaker 14: Everybody wants to be the good guy. So if you
- 1:00:47Speaker 14: was wondering like that, why they just won't. Why they
- 1:00:50Speaker 14: just won't let us have our own things, Because that's
- 1:00:52Speaker 14: why it's it makes them look bad us. Everything about
- 1:00:55Speaker 14: black history makes white people look bad because of what
- 1:00:58Speaker 14: they did to us. If they would a treat us
- 1:01:00Speaker 14: equally and fairly, it would just be history. It wouldn't
- 1:01:02Speaker 14: be Black history. But we had to achieve our own
- 1:01:05Speaker 14: greatness on our own because of how they treated us.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Chase us the word chake us. All ago chake us
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: wherever you go. RTR Real Talk Radio already.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Miss Lyric, we're inside the second half of the show
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: here on WRTR Real Talk Radio Show. So we got
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: a letter from Tyson out of Georgia. Hey, Tyson says,
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: dear y'all, I love that dig y'all. In an industry
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: increasingly driven by commercial successes and mass appeal, how do
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: the existence and influence of industry plans challenge the authenticity
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: of artistic expression and hip hop? And what does this
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: reveal about the relationship between artistry and marketing and the
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: modern music landscape. First off, Tyson the vernacular on points
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: he says honestly, he said, for example, in my opinion,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: one artist who could be perceived as an industry plant
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: in the hip hop genre is Little nas X. His
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: rise of fame, particularly with Old Town Roade, it gave
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: him significant industry support, including strategic collaborations and marketing efforts,
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: they said. Some may argue that his unique blend of
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: country and hip hop, along with his you know, exploration
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: of identity, showcases artistry. Others say it could push an
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: agenda and possibly be an industry plant. With that being said,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: in your opinions, who do you think in the industry
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: could be an industry plant over someone who is actually
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: an authentic artist.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Let's say it together, sexy way.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: She is every that in my opinion, people want to
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: believe that about black women. She's over sexualized. She's corny.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: She's made to look incredibly I mean not disrespect her.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: She's made to look like she ain't got a high
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: reading level. What why are you looking at me like that?
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: She's disrespecting herself, honey, Because first of all, and I'm
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: not saying that's a that's a green light to disrespect her,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: but stop disrespecting yourself and stop pushing this agenda to
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: think that being a whore is okay, regardless of you
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: intended to be a role model or not, you are
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: in the public eye, and the younger generation watches everything
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: that these celebrities do and they look up to it
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: regardless if like I said, a lot of people say, well,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: you need to be a parent, and that part is true. However,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: people also forget that this is the age of technology
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: and kids have a lot more access to what I
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: even had access to when I was a kid. Keep
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: that in mind when you decide to post on an
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: app that allows twelve year olds and thirteen year olds
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: on there to create accounts to bust your shit wide
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: open and shake what God gave you and fucking thongs
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: and all of that shit, and then selling products named.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Tds literally yeability of.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: The decisions that you make as an artist.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: I'm sitting here, I'm looking at her website right now,
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: and all of this just seems very commercial. You can
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: tell that she got some white people behind her as
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: far as her promo and stuff, because I mean, even
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: on her it says bay you are hundred and fifty
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: dollars away from free shipping, continue to shopping. I think
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: it said something about russ Yo email and all that,
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: like just ship like that. It's just very industry plant
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: ty to me and did you all did you see
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: the song that she just did with Bruno mar This
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: We've got to talk about that at some point. This
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: is bad. Well okay, so Tyson, there you sexy Red.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: That is who we believe to be an industry plant
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: because you can't tell me that anybody with a above
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: a fifth grade reading level would believe that sexy Red
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: has any kind of marketability and would be anything that
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: stood out in an industry full of talented people. The girl,
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: I mean, it could be one of those like Kaya things.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Maybe she's the Kaya of this generation, you know, because
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Kaya was like my neck, my back, my position.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: That then though, no, Kanya was a one hit wonder respectfully, respectfully,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I'm not saying anything wrong with that. That's what happens
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: to me. Then, hey, at least I got my one hit.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: I'm not read about it. Work say that for a reason.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Y'all are asking this girl who makes this type of
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: content and music to visit schools to perform for these
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: impressionable young ladies. That is plant plant. Period. There's nothing
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: in me as a parent that would allow my child
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: to attend anything sexy Red at her school. In fact,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I'm going the fuck up there, and somebody gonna have
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: to see these hands and feet for even allowing the foolishness.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Draga, because what the fuck.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Is Who's who's thought? Whose thought was that.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: People? That's what it was.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: It was white people, Like, come on, I just I can't.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: That was a fun question though, because I do be
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: thinking about industry plants little knaves X. I don't think
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: he's an industry plan I honestly think he's a little
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: butcher queen that is trying to make it because I
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: mean little nas X. He be trolling like for real
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: and always has trolled. I think at some point in
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: time he was a barb, wasn't it.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I will say this, since all of that devil Shoe
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: ship went down, we haven't really heard much from him.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: He's toned down a lot.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: To me. Yeah, and you know what, he probably in
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: my opinion, he's grown up a little bit and is less.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: You know, I think it's coming a little bit beyond
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: the shock Valley. You you know that he had at
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: first because he was on Let's be honest, he was
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: one of the only mainstream, if not the only mainstream
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: dude kissing other dudes in its music videos at the time,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: at the time, at the.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Time, openly yeah, yet that because there's a lot of
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: mainstream you know about Chad we just fitness out there,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: But there's a lot of y'all I know, Hey, a
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: lot of it's in the closet. The closet alright, you know.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: So you figure out that you finally want to come out,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: but we see no.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: But I understand if you don't come out because God
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: damn Trump may signed an executive order to where you
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: don't exist tomorrow.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: The I don't, I don't. I feel like there's going
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: to be a time where you're going to see influx
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: of that people just coming out of the wordworks, and
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: a lot of people are gonna be shot. Not me,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: because I've been heard like the industry stories and this, that,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: and that. I won't be I will be the least shocked.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: All y'all saves that y'all think is a way, it's
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: not what y'all think. Y'all gonna be shocked, mouth open gagged.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: But while you're shocked, just remember these are people and
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: sexuality should not take away from anything else other than
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: your opportunity. If you are not what they're looking for
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: oops Oka.
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: Kanye West is out here tweeting free Puff and saying
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: that he's going to keep working on a project that
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: they were working on before did he got locked up?
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: And to that, I say, put him in a jail
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: with him. Lock him up with him, please hear me out.
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: They could sit in the dayroom together and make beats
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: and fight for commissary together, just like the good old days.
- 1:10:00Speaker 7: Put him in there with him, because at the very least,
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: we've all seen the video of Cassie. So even if
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: everything were not true, which we all know is not true,
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: you at least saw the video of what he did
- 1:10:14Speaker 7: to that lady. And even if he did that once
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: a year, for all the times they were together, there
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: is not enough jail time that that man should have
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: to serve for what he did. So since we can't
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: grant him his wish of Puff being freed, I said,
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: we do the best that we can. Put him in
- 1:10:32Speaker 7: there with him, let him share a cell. Hell, who cares,
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. They can get that project
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: done in no time, no time, and keep him in
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: there until Puffy is freed. Okay, they need to stay
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: in there together.
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: Why do you have Roch Why why why file?
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: Why hate me?
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: Are Real Talk Radio? Why do bne is out there.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Explaining the unexplained. We're answering why to the questions you
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: want to know by taking your skeets at WRTR Radio
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: and Blue Sky. We take your emails at WRTR Radio
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: at gmail dot com. And yeah, that's all at this point,
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: because this is the wi FI is. Remember, the truth
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: is out there. It's lyric. What do you have for
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: us this week?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Why the fuck did they decide to name these things? Skeets?
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Who came up with that?
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: I think it's a play on the fact that I
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: think it's a play on the fact that it went
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: from tweets. Of course, you know all the Twitter refugees
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: have gone over the Blue Sky, so now it's the
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: Blue Sky and sky and ski. You know, it's just there.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: It's cute. I like it.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: I think it needs to be changed just for you know,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: the usage of minors. A minor, well, I.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Honestly haven't seen a whole lot. It's it's extremely political. Well,
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: I mean it's not exclusively adults, but from my interactions,
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: I see very few children on here or you know,
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: underage people on here because it's it's a lot of
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: political stuff on here. Maybe that's just what I'm following.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: But again, you have all of the people that were
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: pissed off and about Elon then coming over to this
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: new platform, so of course you see a lot of
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: political stuff. First.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Something to keep in mind.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: My why comes from me this week. I want to
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: know why, y'all keep I want to phrase this correctly,
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: but but why all the sudden finger pointing towards the Democrats.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: I've seen all of these angry videos, all these angry
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: skeets at and talking about you know, where are the Dems?
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: Why aren't the Dems doing this? That? And the third
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: let me explain something to you, baby, and I'm gonna
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: hold your hands when I say these things. The Democrats
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: have a very little, if any power at this point.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: And we collectively made that happen as a group, as
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: a team, we made that happen. Do you know how
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: we made that happen. We made it happen by our
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: votes or lack thereof, are accumulative votes. Democrats have no power.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: The Republicans have the House, they have the Senate, and
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: they have the White House. Do you know what that means?
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: That means that anything that Trump wants to do, he
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: can pretty much push it through without any Democrat help.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: What we're relying on right now are the very few
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Republicans that will speak out against his fuckery. But when
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: they speak out, they're speaking out in closed rooms. They're
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: speaking out in personal conversations. They're not speaking out where
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: it matters, where it affects legislation. They're speaking out where
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: it affects, like a personal conversation. So they'll speak to
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: Jasmine or Hakeen in a personal conversation and be like, yeah,
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: that's in bullshit. But when it actually comes down to voting,
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: when Trump is standing in front of them, when they're
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: surrounded by their other Republican colleagues, they sold. That is
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: why the Democrats and you hear very little about them
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: or from them. Now again, I will encourage those of
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: you that feel this way to head on over to YouTube,
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: head on over to any platform, follow these niggas on
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: social media. They're doing things, but they're doing things within
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: their control. They're not going to break the law, because
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: then that makes them no different than the January sixth
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: rioters that they are actively making a case against Trump
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: for free So if they go hog wild out here
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: in these streets, guns of blazing and acting a fool,
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: they're no different than these people that honestly deserve to
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: be still in jail and are not. That is why
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: the time to act is not after the fact. The
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: time to act was back on November fifth, when so
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: many of us did not. There was ninety two percent
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: of Black women that did. And when I say so
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: many of us, I don't mean us black people, because
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: there were seventy eight percent of black men that did.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: There's still that eight percent of black women, There's still
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: that twenty two percent of black men and the overwhelming
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: majority of the rest that put that nigga in office.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: So what is it that y'all are expecting these democrats
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: to do. It's unrealistic, it's unproductive, it's stupid. It's very
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: frustrating that you haven't gotten past that. Ask yourself, at
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: this point, what can you do? Because at this point,
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: we have more power as the people of America than
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: any of our elected officials have because this nigga is
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: not upholding the constitution. And I won't stay on a
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: radio platform, especially with political climate, but I would strongly
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: encourage you all to look up what our rights and
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: responsibilities are as people of America. When our leader is
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: not following his oath of the Constitution, something.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: He process is beginning.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: Honey the hoop? Oh yeah it is. Well, it's been proposed,
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: but again, it needs they need Republicans in order to
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: make this happen. And you have a lot of Republicans
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: that are saying things and doing other things. We've seen
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: a lot of that in twenty twenty five. We saw
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: a lot of that in twenty twenty Are the vote balls?
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: What do you mean? That is what it is? Because
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: the truth is out there and so are the answers,
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: and that will wrap it up. So this week's while
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: five making noxious, we'll be read back.
- 1:18:02Speaker 10: This was actually on TV. Can y'all read the headline? Wired?
- 1:18:06Speaker 15: Those team on online that's Big Boss won a government expert.
- 1:18:10Speaker 15: Elon must finds this very humorous because he said it's
- 1:18:13Speaker 15: actually on TV. Now, think about everything they say about
- 1:18:16Speaker 15: dee it the didn't earnings.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: This is the rest of their team right here.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: You feel me?
- 1:18:20Speaker 15: Elone teams looked like everybody on the front row of
- 1:18:22Speaker 15: a Drake concert. Shit probaly chniricli about concert too because
- 1:18:25Speaker 15: you know the main folks that we having the prices
- 1:18:27Speaker 15: to pay the tickets, they be looking like them right here.
- 1:18:29Speaker 15: Everybody is between the age of twenty one and twenty five.
- 1:18:32Speaker 15: And apparently he having a little bit of expertise, So
- 1:18:35Speaker 15: a little bit experience, I have to say, and moving
- 1:18:36Speaker 15: bitcoin that makes you an expert to be able to
- 1:18:39Speaker 15: run the government.
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: Huh.
- 1:18:40Speaker 15: I'm talking about if these folks was black, have some
- 1:18:42Speaker 15: black kids. I can't imagine the type of viitriall and
- 1:18:46Speaker 15: gaslight they would do about them being unqualified on face value.
- 1:18:51Speaker 15: But if a billionaire that got to America about overstaying
- 1:18:53Speaker 15: a visa illegally is able to just pick and choose,
- 1:18:56Speaker 15: we say it's a government expert, even though he's not America.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Ain't for around.
- 1:19:00Speaker 15: It really speaks volumes to the conservative contradictions, because how
- 1:19:04Speaker 15: naills you trying to match deport everybody fromund her even
- 1:19:07Speaker 15: if they hear legally. But to be and there you
- 1:19:09Speaker 15: feel me, you got your this thing so stuck in y'all, Mom,
- 1:19:13Speaker 15: y'all can't even get it out.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: That's the reason why you gotta stay Hume.
- 1:19:15Speaker 10: He's running the country.
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: I used to make you nauseous on w rt are
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: Real Talk Radio.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Let's go, So, guys, I forgot to talk about something
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: in the trailing the timeline segments Go for Bitch was
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: also a chef's kiss. H A historic Black church in Washington.
- 1:19:46Speaker 16: D c Hey DC Hey, yes, now owns the Proud
- 1:19:55Speaker 16: Boys name.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: Oh I did see that?
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Five Yes, Metropolitan an African Methodist Episcopal Church can seize
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: any money from the far right group that makes selling merchandise.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: So basically they can't sell ship with that ship on
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: their website. Nonexistent merch cancel it, you're done, You're two.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: The Black Church, he said, absolutely not, not today, not tomorrow.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: You see it? Hold up?
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: But did you oh shit, this is supposed to be
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: doing making doctors. But hold on, did you see the
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: art the Trump crest, his family crest. You know that
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: little that little crust that they have.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I'll be paying attention to that.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: Okay, so the Trump family crest and should I this
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: is off the cuff. So y'all got to do your
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: real research on this. But his family crest is actually
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: played your eyes. It was not his original crest. I
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: mean shocking not but still I thought that that was funny.
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: And yeah, these are some of the stories. I'm not either,
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: so I mean, it is what it is. So these
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: are some of the stories you might not read about
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: in any of the publications right now that we're not
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: talking about. But it's news to make you nauseous. Yeah,
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: And speaking of bad marketing decisions, say what Arab America
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: in a striking turn of events? I'm my ex shop
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: lyric right turn of events. An article from the AP
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: News told us about the Arab Americans and Donald Trump,
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: especially in the context of the ongoing violence of Gaza's.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: Now have you heard of the Arabs for Trump?
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Now?
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: So there are a domestic you know, a domestic group that,
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: of course during campaign season, we're going around and supporting Trump,
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: talking about all of these things that they believe, they
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: love Donald Trump, and they are here right well now.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: And a shocking turn of events. So these bitures have
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: changed their name from a Rabs for Trump to Arab
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: Americans for Peace because they don't like what Trump is
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: saying about God. So this made me particularly nauseous because
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: I mean, okay, I'm just business. It's something to be
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: said for making the decision, the right decision, but the
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: timing is everything, and everything sucks now because you did
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: not time that correctly. So I don't know what else
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: to tell you. I don't It just is what it is.
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: What you got, miss lyric anything.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Well, I got a two fer?
- 1:22:51Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: I like two first? You don't know what I'm into.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Let's see Detroit, Michigan slash. What is this? Cobb County,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Georgia say what? Neighbor authorities have charged forty one year
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: old Brandy Katrice Priesce Pierce I'm sorry, with first degree
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: murder and several related offenses in the death of her
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: nine year old son, Zamar King. Theirs alleged that Pierce
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: killed King in October twenty twenty four, burying his body
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: in a shallow grave behind her rental home in Detroit, Yikes.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Wayne County Prosecutor Kim Worthy stated that after the murder,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Pierce purchased a shovel, bound King's hands and feet and
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: concealed his body, and revealed that the child died from
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: neck compression and smothering. Following the incident, Pierce allegedly fled
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: to Georgia with her year old son. King's remains were
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: discovered on January sixth, twenty twenty five, when maintenance workers
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: noticed a fucking foot protruding from the.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: Ground a foot, a whole foot.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Prior to the discovery, Pierce had drawn police attention on
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: December twenty twentieth, twenty twenty four during an investigation into
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: an unrelated case involving her younger son. The Cobb County
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: Sheriff's Office in Georgia is coordinating with the Detroit police
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: to further investigate King's death.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Wait, so they were there for a completely different case
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: and then saw this foot sticking up out the ground
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: a foot.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: She moved to Georgia. Fled to Georgia with her other son,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: who's three. Okay, maintenance people came to Guess to do
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: some work on the property because it was a wintel house,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: of course, probably getting it ready for the next tenant.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: They go in to backyard, they see your motherfucker and
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: foot coming out the ground.
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: What that's it's It's sad, but it is a blessing
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: also because what if his what if his body was
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: never discovered.
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and she got to the other three year.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: Old and then did the same thing to the three
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: She got a three year old. Mm hmmmmmm y'all are
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: out here living any kind of way. Yikes. If you
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: want these and more nausea and news stories, Hey, follow
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: us over on Blue Sky at w R T R Radio.
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: I'm over there at M A R C U S
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: S M O T. That's Marcus Smooth and.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: I am on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, say yikes, yikes, and
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: TikTok atler Bravado.
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: Alright, ty up next, let's talk about the keys to Heaven.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: Let's sen to you a text message earlier. I'm gonna
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: want to elaborate up next.
- 1:26:05Speaker 12: Hey, y'all's congress Woman Pressley here. Folks are feeling a
- 1:26:09Speaker 12: lot of things right now, emotionally reeling from this new
- 1:26:11Speaker 12: White House, this harmer in chief. So I wanted to
- 1:26:14Speaker 12: take a moment and discuss exactly what is going on
- 1:26:16Speaker 12: and speak directly to our federal workers and what they're
- 1:26:19Speaker 12: going through. Donald Trump is allowing Elon Musk, an unelected,
- 1:26:23Speaker 12: unaccountable billionaire with no formal role in government, to take
- 1:26:26Speaker 12: a wrecking ball to our federal government and our federal workforce.
- 1:26:30Speaker 12: He's been given access to sensitive classified information across federal agencies,
- 1:26:34Speaker 12: including folks private financial data like social security checks, Medicare
- 1:26:38Speaker 12: refunds and tax refunds for folks in our district and
- 1:26:42Speaker 12: all across the country. They are trying to unlawfully and
- 1:26:45Speaker 12: unilaterally close entire federal agencies like USAID and the Department
- 1:26:50Speaker 12: of Education without Congress, despite his being a coequal branch
- 1:26:53Speaker 12: of government. And they're trying to purge the federal workforce
- 1:26:56Speaker 12: and force dedicated public servants off the job.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: This is straight out of the Project twenty twenty five playbook.
- 1:27:02Speaker 12: These are dedicated, non partisan civil service with institutional knowledge
- 1:27:05Speaker 12: and expertise that make the government work for you, the people,
- 1:27:10Speaker 12: and if Trump It must get their way. Millions will
- 1:27:12Speaker 12: see delays in getting a passport renewed, completing fast service,
- 1:27:15Speaker 12: eving tax refunds, or just having someone answer.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: The phone when you call.
- 1:27:19Speaker 12: If you are a federal employee who received Trump's Work
- 1:27:22Speaker 12: in the Road memo, proceed with caution. Donald Trump is
- 1:27:24Speaker 12: a crook and a liar. This is not a man
- 1:27:26Speaker 12: who keeps his word to workers on absolutely anything. So
- 1:27:30Speaker 12: talk to your union rep and know your rights. Folks
- 1:27:33Speaker 12: can visit Civil Servicestrong dot org to learn more. Again
- 1:27:37Speaker 12: that Civil Servicestrong dot org to learn more. I don't
- 1:27:40Speaker 12: want to sugarcoat this, y'all. We're in a constitutional crisis.
- 1:27:43Speaker 12: It's an unprecedented tack on our democracy. But the good
- 1:27:46Speaker 12: news is we can do something about it. We're gonna
- 1:27:49Speaker 12: need to match their energy at a minimum. At a minimum,
- 1:27:54Speaker 12: Democrats cannot normalize this because it's ain't normal, y'all, and
- 1:27:57Speaker 12: we can't continue to conduct business as usual. That means
- 1:28:00Speaker 12: no collaboration with Republicans whatsoever, no votes for Trump nominees,
- 1:28:04Speaker 12: no working with Elon Musk. We need to fight every
- 1:28:07Speaker 12: single day. We must use every tool we had to litigate, legislate,
- 1:28:11Speaker 12: organized to stop us, to tackle our democracy, to hold
- 1:28:14Speaker 12: Musk and Trump accountable. So for those watching at home,
- 1:28:18Speaker 12: continue educating each other, sharing resources, building community to fight back.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: When we fight, we win. But we can only get
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: there together, y'all.
- 1:28:29Speaker 9: Just when you think it can't get any worse, I
- 1:28:31Speaker 9: saw this on tizzi Ents page, and I saw the articles.
- 1:28:34Speaker 9: I saw the headline, but I'm like, oh, this can't
- 1:28:36Speaker 9: be real. So I went and looked it up myself.
- 1:28:38Speaker 9: A Salvador's president just offered to detain American citizens in
- 1:28:42Speaker 9: his prisons. Yes, American citizens, So Marco Rubio met with
- 1:28:47Speaker 9: the president of our Salvador, and the president basically said,
- 1:28:50Speaker 9: we'll take de portines from the US of any nationality.
- 1:28:53Speaker 9: We'll even take your violent American criminals. Just send him
- 1:28:56Speaker 9: here and then return the US can fund our prison system.
- 1:29:00Speaker 9: Trump kept talking about running this country like a business,
- 1:29:02Speaker 9: but you're outsourcing prisoners a Soophoto's president is running one
- 1:29:06Speaker 9: of the most anti crime crackdowns in the.
- 1:29:08Speaker 10: World, and he wants the US to help bankroll it.
- 1:29:11Speaker 9: His prisons are massive, He's already locked up two percent
- 1:29:14Speaker 9: of his own country, and now he's saying, hey, America,
- 1:29:16Speaker 9: send your criminals too. This is giving real life dystopia.
- 1:29:20Speaker 9: But of course I got some questions legally, can the
- 1:29:23Speaker 9: US support its own citizens? And what happens if somebody
- 1:29:25Speaker 9: gets wrongfully convicted and sent there? And do we really
- 1:29:28Speaker 9: trust the US not to abuse this system. I don't
- 1:29:32Speaker 9: because history says otherwise. They start with the violent criminals,
- 1:29:36Speaker 9: and then suddenly the definition of criminals starts getting real flexible,
- 1:29:40Speaker 9: first as gang members, then it's protesters, then it's whoever
- 1:29:44Speaker 9: they decide is a problem. Y'all paying attention.
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: One hundred hates real job for you I WRGR Real
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: Talk Radio We Keep It Real.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: Earlier this week, one of my friends passed away.
- 1:30:03Speaker 17: Actually he's a friend of a friend but became friends
- 1:30:07Speaker 17: with me over the years, and it got me to
- 1:30:11Speaker 17: thinking a little bit existentially.
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: About what it all means at the end of the day,
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, Like, we're seeing so much
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: stuff coming out about history. People have been on their
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: knees for four hundred plus years praying for change instead
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: of actually making change. And it just got me into
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: a mindset of what it all means after you leave
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: here and the correct way so and that's air quotes
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: correct way to get into heaven. And I kind of
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: think that my thought process was a little bit abstract,
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: so I was thinking outside the box of a little bit,
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: and I kind of landed at the key to heaven.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: What if like here and the just overall happiness, Because
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: when you think about heaven and you think about the
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: concept of heaven, the concept is this place of eternal happiness,
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: of eternal rest where you can just be happy. What
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: if in building our souls here on the planet for
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: the amount of or how happy we are, how genuine
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: we are, like how good we are those are the
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: you know, the keys that get us into heaven, not
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: necessarily you know, a religious act, but like when you
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: think about the concept of heaven, it's described as a
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: place of perfect happiness, surrounded by the people we love.
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: But what if the key to entering this paradise is
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: the emotion of joy. Like in this view, joy acts
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: like kind of a ticket that we have to gather
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: enough to gain access to that ultimate happiness. I know
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: it's outside of the box, but it's something a little
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: bit different. Like this idea helps explain why our lives
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: on earth and often feel unbalanced. Like we experience moments
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: here joy that make us long for more. It's like
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: never enough joy, but it often feels like we don't
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: have enough joy to sustain it. So the amount of
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: joy we can experience isn't solely based on our circumstances.
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: It's also based on the choices we make in the
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: situation we find ourselves in.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: No, I agree, at the end of the day, although
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: you cannot control what other people do around you, you
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: can control what you do and how you react to things.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: And I say that to say this, oftentimes we're so
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: quick to let other people ruin our day and disturb
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: our peace. When we're in charge of that ourselves. You
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: have to not react to everything battles if you if
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: you will, because there are gonna be times where you know,
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: of course it's gonna happen, and you're not gonna be
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: in the best of moods. It's nothing anybody can do
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: about that. It's life or human beings. However, there are
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: some instances where a slight issue may arise, and some
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: people may take that small, insignificant issue and let it
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: ruin their entire day and they'll constantly think about it,
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: and you lose allful, joyful, happy moments because you were
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: focused on something so ignorant and significant that that you
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: could have just overlooked and been like that happened. I
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: accept it. I'm going to go on about my day now.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: At the end of the day. We need to be
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: more responsible for our own happiness, our own joy and
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: stop leaving it on to other people. That's even in
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: a relationship. Your mate is not supposed to be your
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: core reason of make of he doesn't have he or
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: she doesn't have the responsibility of making you happy. Correct,
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: you are responsible for being happy within that relationship and
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: I think a lot of people get this confused because
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: they seek validation in another person instead of themselves.
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: Yep, that's the I mean. We could pivot that into
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: the same reason that people get kids and pets, because
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: you need validation, you need to feel power over somebody else.
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: And that's I mean same thing about happiness. I like
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: that point. I look at myself and I look at
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: all of the things that I've been through and just
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: being happy, and so many of the things that have
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: that I have allowed to not make me happy, And
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: in a recent therapy session kind of discovered or actually
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: over the years, honestly, but I've discovered that sometimes I
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: won't allow myself happiness mm hm, because I'm afraid of
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: what's going to happen when it's being when it's snatched away.
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: So I will avoid, sometimes purposefully avoid things that could
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: make me happy because of the overwhelming thought that something
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: bad is going to steal that happiness. Like I won't
- 1:35:36Speaker 2: go to a party. I won't go I won't participate
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: in X, Y, and Z, because you know of this
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: fear or this worry that somehow it's going to be
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: snatched away. And I think in a large part of
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: a large chunk of my life. I've allowed those feelings
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: to stop me from being happy. So that's or this
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: kind of thought pivoted from because I'm sitting here and
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: I'm absorbing all of these bad things that are happening
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: in the world instead of focusing on the really good
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: things that are happening in spite of m H. I mean, yeah,
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: it sucks right now with this ass hat out here
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: doing all of these things to us in this world.
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: But at the same time, I've got a lot of
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: ws in the category too, both on a personal and
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: you know, as a country, we do. But I don't know,
- 1:36:36Speaker 2: I just I would think I would like to think
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: that living your life here unapologetically and happily will ultimately
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: guarantee your entry way there. I think that's why we
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: live in such a repressed world. You're taught to shun
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: away from your emotions, You're taught to shun away from
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: pleasureful things. And I'm not saying out out here and
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: you know, Sexy read it up, but don't do that.
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: But I'm talking about like just really doing the work
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: to be happy and to give happiness to others. I
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: don't know that's probably the most inspirational thing you'll see
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: me or hear me say on the show.
- 1:37:23Speaker 6: No, it's because everything else sucks.
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: Oh nah, I'm kidding.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: But no, but I'm in AA grants. I'm in a grants.
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: And on the flip side of what you said, also,
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: people have to stop feeling like they're undeserving of happiness
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: because they may have done stuff to somebody or they
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: done did this, or feeling guilty about being happy about anything.
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: A lot of people suffer through that too. I know
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: I used to. It just felt like, oh I was
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: undeserving of being happy, and this was because this happened
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: in a relationship and this is why I'm going through this,
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: Or this happened at a job and this is where
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: I'm going through this.
- 1:38:08Speaker 2: No no, no, no, no no no no. Right, we're taught
- 1:38:11Speaker 2: that everything happy has to come with some fuck the
- 1:38:14Speaker 2: past consequence, while every time we got a smile, we
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: gotta frown ten times harder, like it's not the way
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: that it is just moving forward. I refuse to take
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: that mentality with me. So I'm going to make cognitive
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: and active changes into how I respond to things that
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: don't mean I'm gonna be at every party. That don't
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: mean I'm gonna be sitting there, you know, Taylor Swift
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: perking it up. Mm hmm. But it also doesn't mean
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: that I'm going to approach every you know, incidence or
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: instance with doom and gloom either.
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: So I think that about covers it.
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: I'm alrighty Well, then that wraps up another week here
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: on w r t R Real Talk Radio. You feel
- 1:39:07Speaker 2: good and it's alert.
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: I do feel good. I'm reading now. We have rehearsal
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: all the over a Sedden in my band, but that's weird.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: Other than that, Yeah, I'm good.
- 1:39:20Speaker 2: Have you got any things any new things coming up
- 1:39:23Speaker 2: for down there?
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: Yes? Actually I'm my band, a level up band, the

- 1:39:42Speaker 1: is shut up. We're going to be opening up for
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: what band? So it's gonna be interesting. All right?
- 1:39:52Speaker 2: Well, yes, I got shocking to do this week, damn it. Okay, anyway,
- 1:39:58Speaker 2: I mean it is what it is, Miss Lyric.
