Oklahoma’s drought nightmare is officially over — after six brutal years, the state’s been drenched by record-breaking rain, with 11.72 inches in the northeast making it the third wettest June ever. The U.S. Drought Monitor now shows zero drought across the entire state, even reviving dry southwest lakes. But don’t get too comfortable — June also unleashed 25 tornadoes (possibly climbing to a record 28), and with 86 confirmed so far this year, that’s already way above the annual average.
