- 0:31Speaker 3: I'm the one who brought this to Amy's very amply
- 0:34Speaker 3: full plate.
- 0:36Speaker 2: I thought you were going to say bosom, and I
- 0:37Speaker 2: was going to be pleased with that, but I do
- 0:40Speaker 2: have a nice rash. She brought Survivor to my to
- 0:43Speaker 2: my bosom, and I said, you know what, I think
- 0:46Speaker 2: we're I think i'd like that because we, you know,
- 0:49Speaker 2: watching Traders, it's been one of those things where we're
- 0:52Speaker 2: getting all these other game players from other things. And
- 0:54Speaker 2: I haven't seen Survivor since you know, Richard Hatch and
- 0:58Speaker 2: Elizabeth Hasselback, so it has been eighty five years according
- 1:03Speaker 2: to when I tuned in this week, I was like, Okay,
- 1:06Speaker 2: we're on forty eight. That is the craziest number, and
- 1:11Speaker 2: so welcome in, Darlings and Survivor fanatics.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Welcome.
- 1:17Speaker 2: So this is so exciting. So if you're just listening
- 1:19Speaker 2: to the Survivor recaps, we typically do like Bravo and
- 1:23Speaker 2: like some other types of things. So if you're interested
- 1:25Speaker 2: in that, head on over to patreon dot com. Slash
- 1:27Speaker 2: Drama Darling and a ton of other recaps are up

- 2:04Speaker 3: Yes, Darling's message your friends in Chicago, even if they
- 2:08Speaker 3: watched just a couple of Bravo shows. Amy is probably
- 2:11Speaker 3: going to be doing her amazing impressions and some songs writing.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, I don't know.
- 2:17Speaker 3: You're like sketches, Jamie, zero impressions, zero songs, zero sketches.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Prayers only prayers, Homily's you know.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Hymns you will Raise you up.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Jeff probst To is a great host, so check that out.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And then as we move on to Survivor, Okay, Jamie.
- 2:44Speaker 2: First off, Jeff Probs is an unbelievable host. He's the
- 2:50Speaker 2: most active involved host of any show there is. And
- 2:54Speaker 2: I hope they're paying him a billion dollars.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I'm not sure they are paying him handsome. I think
- 3:00Speaker 3: he may have surgically implanted those dimples at this point.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Jeff Probes is the most hands on host you'll ever see.
- 3:10Speaker 3: And I actually, you know, in the spirit of Survivor Cohens,
- 3:16Speaker 3: you know, not at all. That's when you think I'm
- 3:18Speaker 3: an Isaac in the spirit of Andy. In the spirit
- 3:27Speaker 3: of Andy Cohen's drink. Whenever you hear this word, I
- 3:31Speaker 3: thought to myself, we we can do that with the
- 3:33Speaker 3: Darlings drink. Whenever Jeff Probe says, that's how you do
- 3:39Speaker 3: it on Survivor. Oh, that's how you do Survivor forty eight.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Ah.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Yes, I gotta tell you, you know, Jamie, thank you
- 3:51Speaker 2: for that, because I really am enjoying it. I don't
- 3:54Speaker 2: remember him being this involved back on season one, you know.
- 3:58Speaker 3: So he's gonna crack you up. He's gonna be the
- 4:00Speaker 3: Alan Cummings.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Of a Survivors related reality show. He's a coach, he's
- 4:09Speaker 2: a he's a sports coach. He's a life coach. He's
- 4:13Speaker 2: a friend.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Yes, and he can be in like a like a
- 4:17Speaker 3: stern father too.
- 4:18Speaker 2: And he can be a real dick, you know. I
- 4:19Speaker 2: mean he's a therapist.
- 4:24Speaker 3: He's a therapist. He's a crochet connoisseur.
- 4:30Speaker 2: No, I don't know. I mean, you're born on this island.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I mean, he's got to be doing something.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Two survivors a year. Well, I just love that we're
- 4:40Speaker 3: doing this. And shout out to my Survivor thread that
- 4:44Speaker 3: I've had on Facebook for years now of a bunch
- 4:48Speaker 3: of Survivor watchers in Detroit, get out, Yeah, what happened? Hobbood?
- 4:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna send them this, duh.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I'm going to send them this podcast. And what they
- 5:05Speaker 3: like what we write on there is because one time
- 5:07Speaker 3: Joe Hinelberg wrote that was a great sod, s O
- 5:10Speaker 3: d E. So so we just like, we'll write like
- 5:13Speaker 3: what a sod and then say say little things. So
- 5:17Speaker 3: shout out to the thread and shout out to the darling. Wow, yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 3: just to the darling who might even even recommend this
- 5:24Speaker 3: to their friends who they know watch Survivor. That'll bring
- 5:26Speaker 3: them into amy. So anyways, you can tell you with
- 5:29Speaker 3: my idea. So welcome in, Yes, welcome in.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Emily also was going to join us today, she is
- 5:36Speaker 2: just you know, lying in her own Nike wil filth No.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yeah, welcome power, welcome out.
- 5:43Speaker 2: See yourself.
- 5:45Speaker 3: You see yourself too, sorry about because you are sick.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yes you are and so anyhoy yese. That was that
- 5:53Speaker 2: was a little late. But that's for the Survivor Detroit group.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Thank you. And it is three one three. It is
- 5:59Speaker 3: March thirteen, the Detroit day.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, happy three one three. I know you're having
- 6:06Speaker 2: a get together tonight. I will not be able to
- 6:08Speaker 2: make it.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I saw you are not attending. Thank you for that.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Welcome out of my circle. All right, let's get to this.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 6:32Speaker 1: This is terrible.
- 6:34Speaker 2: This is terrible, bunga. Okay, I would love to see
- 6:42Speaker 2: Dylan on Survivors, and I think, but let's I mean,
- 6:49Speaker 2: while Dylan is not on it, let's talk about the
- 6:53Speaker 2: guy who lives in his in in front of his
- 6:55Speaker 2: father's house in color and has had four nipples you know,
- 7:01Speaker 2: cheers to like surgery, you know what I mean, and
- 7:04Speaker 2: gave to him for like saying and being vulnerable on
- 7:07Speaker 2: television to all of us an.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Wait, wait, I want to say something though everyone else
- 7:12Speaker 3: has like real problems, and he's he's like this hot
- 7:15Speaker 3: guy with perfect abs, and he's like, everyone's got problems.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Like right here, above this perfect ab, you'll see that
- 7:22Speaker 3: I had two nipples removed when I was in high school.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, everyone else's like, here's my wonky toe,
- 7:28Speaker 3: right here's my figure with a word on it. And
- 7:31Speaker 3: he's like, and these right here on this perfect body
- 7:36Speaker 3: two scars where once two nipples sat. I'm like what.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Meanwhile, people are like, why did you get rid of him?
- 7:42Speaker 2: That would have been really attractive? Double the pleasure.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Uh.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah, So he is. He's a stunt performer, which you know,
- 7:51Speaker 2: I'm a little bit concerned because like, at this point,
- 7:53Speaker 2: he wants to win this million dollars, but you know
- 7:55Speaker 2: that after taxes, you're only gonna get a certain amount,
- 7:57Speaker 2: and then you know, his girlfriend to get Mary's be
- 8:00Speaker 2: stay at home mom, and you know you're gonna blow
- 8:04Speaker 2: through that money in a year and a half. So
- 8:06Speaker 2: hoping if he does get it, he is realistic about
- 8:10Speaker 2: how far that money can take you, and that he
- 8:13Speaker 2: will Now his name will be out there more, and
- 8:15Speaker 2: then people will hire him for more stunts.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I hope so, because you know you cannot. Here's the
- 8:20Speaker 3: thing about Survivor Amy. The chances of that guy winning
- 8:24Speaker 3: are slim tonight. There's so many people. But I will
- 8:29Speaker 3: say this about all three episodes, which we are recapping
- 8:31Speaker 3: all three today, Ambitious, Ambitious. This season is already shaping up,
- 8:39Speaker 3: because usually I almost feel like the first episode is
- 8:42Speaker 3: a throwaway because I don't really even start to care
- 8:44Speaker 3: about anyone too much until later. Yeah, the first episode
- 8:47Speaker 3: of this one, I was like, okay, I have my favorites.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yes, I was immediately like, Chrissy, let's go. You know,
- 8:54Speaker 2: she's a lieutenant, firefighting a fire lieutenant. I'm really, you know,
- 8:58Speaker 2: pulling for her. I mean, all of these people really
- 9:02Speaker 2: are amazing. Mitch. I mean, okay, so you know, straight
- 9:05Speaker 2: out of the bat, Jamie, who are you? Who is
- 9:08Speaker 2: your favorite tribe? Because we've got the yellow, purple, and green? Okay,
- 9:12Speaker 2: so Vula tribe is green, Loggie tribe is purple, and
- 9:18Speaker 2: the Siba tribe is yellow.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Okay, we're your favorite? Good? Good question. I have written
- 9:25Speaker 3: a little chart for myself and it almost looks like
- 9:28Speaker 3: an insane personal did.
- 9:29Speaker 2: You get did you get my text with this chart now,
- 9:33Speaker 2: I sent it to you before the show. It's on
- 9:35Speaker 2: our Survivor thread and it has all the people broken
- 9:40Speaker 2: down into into their tribes and their picture and their name,
- 9:46Speaker 2: and you know who they are.
- 9:47Speaker 3: This thing just got it. Well, you said this like
- 9:50Speaker 3: about ten fifteen minutes ago.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I sent it a second ago while we were talking. No,
- 9:55Speaker 2: I'm kidding, yeah, I just sent it, so so if
- 9:58Speaker 2: that helps you. But I know I can't believe you
- 9:59Speaker 2: have chart.
- 10:00Speaker 3: I love it, but I do want to look at
- 10:02Speaker 3: my little little scratched up chart. So on the Siva tribe,
- 10:07Speaker 3: my favorite, of course is Mitch. I wrote here Mitch, Sweetie,
- 10:12Speaker 3: Love Mitch. Mitch. There's a heart, and he is sweetie,
- 10:16Speaker 3: and there's chip on my nail. So Mitch, I love him.
- 10:19Speaker 3: You know it's not just because he has that stutter.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I love his vibe. You know, he's just such a
- 10:24Speaker 3: ding sweetheart. On the challenge, yeah here is it a
- 10:29Speaker 3: hearing challenge? I thought it's just speech challenge, isn't it.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Oh it's a both. I think it's just he couldn't
- 10:36Speaker 2: hear in one ear. I could be wrong, Okay, No.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Someone definitely said they can't hear in one ear? Oh
- 10:41Speaker 3: I thought that was Oh no, no, no, Amy, that
- 10:43Speaker 3: was a flashback to a previous.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Season, right, thank you everybody, Yes, no worries.
- 10:51Speaker 3: No apologies. Okay, hey, cut cut that part out. You're
- 10:54Speaker 3: the editor. Keep it in and let people know that
- 10:59Speaker 3: you're Yeah, okay. On the loggie tribe, my favorite, of course,
- 11:06Speaker 3: guess you must know who I'm going to say, Joe.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Joe, of course Dad.
- 11:11Speaker 3: So I actually shed a tear when he was saying,
- 11:15Speaker 3: you know, he was so moved that Aba came to
- 11:19Speaker 3: him with her challenges. Yeah, and he I started crying.
- 11:23Speaker 3: He was like, I would want my kids to have
- 11:26Speaker 3: someone like me to come to with their stuff. And
- 11:28Speaker 3: I was like, so Joe there. And then the last
- 11:34Speaker 3: tribe is a dropping like fly the tribe. It couldn't
- 11:40Speaker 3: the tribe.
- 11:41Speaker 2: It's so great.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Okay, even that tribe, it's so funny. I wrote here
- 11:45Speaker 3: Civa loggie for that tribe, I'd even write the name
- 11:47Speaker 3: and their their squares are small a f If I
- 11:52Speaker 3: had to pick someone on that tribe.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I'm going to guess, yeah, go ahead it Well, now
- 11:57Speaker 2: that we know that Kevin is gone, you cedric he
- 12:00Speaker 2: likes Cedric.
- 12:00Speaker 3: That's correct. I like Cedric. I do think this dynamic
- 12:04Speaker 3: with cy and Mary is fun, how they have mutual
- 12:07Speaker 3: respect and also disdain Cedric. H I thought, what so,
- 12:12Speaker 3: I don't want to jump ahead to episode three?
- 12:14Speaker 2: But oh no, I think he can around.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Okay, well then bounce off of this. I thought it
- 12:19Speaker 3: was awesome that he voted out Justin after he saw
- 12:24Speaker 3: that Justin lied to him and didn't tell me he
- 12:26Speaker 3: lost the vote Justin. So anyone who watched The Survivor
- 12:29Speaker 3: will tell you that Justin was cold busted.
- 12:34Speaker 4: He would kidld pizza flat out, uncooked, raw, no sauce,
- 12:43Speaker 4: no pepperoni, exposed as Yale pizza guy.
- 12:49Speaker 3: He was the dough exposed before it was even flattened
- 12:54Speaker 3: for some sauce.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Hadn't even arisen, and he was dead in the eyes. Said,
- 13:00Speaker 2: I gone, he was like fucking busted, was very much.
- 13:06Speaker 2: She presented her case so perfectly and that's what got
- 13:09Speaker 2: her back in. And I'm so happy that Cedric made
- 13:13Speaker 2: that call.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I am too, and I knew it was going to
- 13:16Speaker 3: be that because to me, he knew he was busted.
- 13:20Speaker 3: He knew Sai is a grudge hole. Say say yeah,
- 13:29Speaker 3: he knew say that's all I remember it always. Okay,
- 13:32Speaker 3: he knew say was a but also I am from Michigan,
- 13:35Speaker 3: as you know.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Cy.
- 13:36Speaker 3: This is how I would say it, and then I'd
- 13:38Speaker 3: be like, get me say it how you would say it?
- 13:42Speaker 3: But anyway, say say so here's what I want to
- 13:45Speaker 3: say about Say. Okay, everyone, Okay, I've had a lot
- 13:51Speaker 3: of coffee today. Can everyone tell I'm not usually this
- 13:53Speaker 3: peppy at the early hour of.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Noonnish, drink your bet ringes.
- 14:01Speaker 3: And and for those of you Tier two who are
- 14:03Speaker 3: watching this, I have a lot of makeup on because
- 14:06Speaker 3: I just got off of a meeting.
- 14:08Speaker 2: So doesn't she look great?
- 14:11Speaker 3: Oh but duh h. And I use sat makeup c.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It's saint. And if you want a color match, you
- 14:22Speaker 2: can hit me up in my d MS or text
- 14:24Speaker 2: me or whatever.
- 14:25Speaker 3: And I want to baby color matched me two years ago.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I've never looked back. This makeup is a slim anyway
- 14:33Speaker 3: back to this, This is not a.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Safe marry Marion. Say you're talking about Say and I
- 14:38Speaker 2: love They're my favorite like on the Vulu tribe, I
- 14:42Speaker 2: am so here for them and I'm obsessed obsessed.
- 14:45Speaker 3: I am too that tribe has been through the Ringer already, Cedric,
- 14:49Speaker 3: a surgeon, crying his eyes out. I was like, okay,
- 14:52Speaker 3: my name, don't you aren't you supposed to be stoic.
- 14:55Speaker 2: But he was like, I need a minute, but just
- 15:01Speaker 2: one more minute.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Yeah. He blew it. He blew it. He blew it
- 15:04Speaker 3: on the buoy challenge. So anyway, let's jump back though
- 15:08Speaker 3: to episode one, because okay, take us there. I want
- 15:12Speaker 3: to take us there to the introductions. This is in
- 15:15Speaker 3: my mind one of the first times, if not the first.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Darling's write in the notes if you think this that
- 15:22Speaker 3: they've shown the people's videos as they are accepted.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I wondered that if they do that, I mean they
- 15:28Speaker 2: do that, Like didn't they do that on like American
- 15:30Speaker 2: Idol or something like that. I remember, but yeah, I
- 15:33Speaker 2: wondered if that was a survivor thing. It was not.
- 15:37Speaker 2: They also do that on The Bachelor.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Oh and I don't watch The Bachelor, okay, and I
- 15:41Speaker 3: never will. Okay, So anyway, that that was a cool
- 15:46Speaker 3: way to start it. And then everyone was so pumped
- 15:48Speaker 3: on the beach and Jeff was like, I've never seen
- 15:51Speaker 3: anyone more pumped up.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Like I've never seen anybody as pumped.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Up as me.
- 15:57Speaker 2: And meanwhile they're standing like five hundre undred yards apart
- 16:01Speaker 2: from each other. How can you do this? How do
- 16:05Speaker 2: you hear each other? He's like you over there, He's
- 16:11Speaker 2: still he's still COVID scared. Yeah, I still COVID. If
- 16:17Speaker 2: these dipples get covids.
- 16:21Speaker 3: These surgically implanted dipples get COVID, we're screwed by the way.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I should have better looked into this. But I saw
- 16:28Speaker 3: TikTok last night as I was falling into a deep
- 16:31Speaker 3: sleep at four a m. I I saw a TikTok.
- 16:41Speaker 2: It's the last TikTok that you saw, and it's the
- 16:43Speaker 2: one that you want a reference, and you just happen
- 16:46Speaker 2: to fall asleep after being awake that long.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Okay, what all of these are true stories? I don't
- 16:51Speaker 3: think it was the last. It was probably one of
- 16:53Speaker 3: the last. I feel like I finally turned it off
- 16:55Speaker 3: when one of them was way too dramatic. I was like,
- 16:57Speaker 3: I can't have this stress of watching and get yelled
- 17:00Speaker 3: at right now. Let me give off of this. But
- 17:03Speaker 3: it was like four am, and I thought, so, that's
- 17:04Speaker 3: why I didn't write it down, Because I didn't have
- 17:06Speaker 3: my my very sophisticated paper. Anyway, the point is someone
- 17:13Speaker 3: sent no one made a TikTok that Jeff Probes bid
- 17:17Speaker 3: it and fell during one of these challenges, so Darling's
- 17:23Speaker 3: considered a scavenger hunt, go find that moment. But he
- 17:27Speaker 3: bit it and fell, and the person making the TikTok
- 17:30Speaker 3: was like, ah, look at this. Everyone Probes bid it.
- 17:34Speaker 3: So he fell, which I've never seen him.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Wow. And they left it in there just to spite him,
- 17:41Speaker 2: but they but it was humble served.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Pie from your editing crew. But it was so quick
- 17:48Speaker 3: that you I had to watch the TikTok three or
- 17:50Speaker 3: four times. It's like you can't really but then you
- 17:52Speaker 3: do see him go. So he bit it.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Let me guess was it Mary stabbing her pole into
- 17:57Speaker 2: his eye and then he fell.
- 18:00Speaker 3: That was a terrifying and that that could have got
- 18:03Speaker 3: so bad, that could have been close to add which
- 18:08Speaker 3: Amy by the way, you know, I mean there was
- 18:10Speaker 3: a season where one guy busted his head, blood gushing
- 18:14Speaker 3: on the very first get to Meet You challenge.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Well, he didn't belong there. He was on his league and.
- 18:20Speaker 3: They actually brought him back again and I think he
- 18:22Speaker 3: did okay, I'm sorry, I'm just kidding. Well, there's so
- 18:25Speaker 3: many times in this last episode, so basically the episodes
- 18:29Speaker 3: where they're leading you around in blindfolds, the women are
- 18:34Speaker 3: not protecting the dick and balls. They're just letting these
- 18:38Speaker 3: guys just castraight themsels the stars above my head because.
- 18:48Speaker 2: He is so right. It's like you're asking these people
- 18:51Speaker 2: who are leading them, like are you fat or trader?
- 18:54Speaker 3: Like you kids?
- 18:55Speaker 2: At the end when they're leading them out of the
- 18:58Speaker 2: challenge and they all elected, but googogoo, googogoo, googoo. Oh,
- 19:02Speaker 2: I'm sorry. You might as well brought them through a
- 19:04Speaker 2: turnstile like it was so bad. Poor Joe, that.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Was so rough he got it coming and going. Literally,
- 19:14Speaker 3: I was.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Maybe he put a cook. If they were smart, they
- 19:17Speaker 2: would have put a coconut shell a man made, you know,
- 19:20Speaker 2: uh what a cup?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Oh my god, Amy, that is so smart. Why hasn't
- 19:25Speaker 3: anyone done that? Not only would it protect them, but
- 19:27Speaker 3: it would make them a survivor legend. Yes, they were like,
- 19:32Speaker 3: I'm putting a coconut cup on and everyone be like,
- 19:34Speaker 3: you can't do that, and he'd be like, I'm doing it, Jeff,
- 19:36Speaker 3: is it okay, if I wear this, and then the
- 19:37Speaker 3: camera always zooming in on the coconut.
- 19:40Speaker 2: And then they zoomed. He's like, are you kidding me?
- 19:42Speaker 2: And then Jeff drops his pants and shows that he's
- 19:44Speaker 2: in there a coconut cup this whole time since season two.
- 19:48Speaker 3: That's right. I would love it. And then he'd be like,
- 19:50Speaker 3: this is how you do it on I'm gonna start
- 19:55Speaker 3: copying every single dude, start clocking how often he says that.
- 20:03Speaker 3: So the first episode I thought was pretty good. I
- 20:06Speaker 3: love the kumba I love the first episode of Survivor
- 20:09Speaker 3: for this. I love the kumbayad nature of it. I
- 20:13Speaker 3: love watching them build the you know, shelter and go
- 20:17Speaker 3: get their bamboo, and they're so excited to be there.
- 20:20Speaker 3: They're not yet starving. Okay, okay. And in that first episode,
- 20:26Speaker 3: I thought that, uh, they did a great job editing
- 20:30Speaker 3: of making me kind of like each team did you
- 20:33Speaker 3: feel that.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I was delighted with everybody, you know, I thought, you know,
- 20:37Speaker 2: I haven't seen it in such a long time, and
- 20:39Speaker 2: I loved seeing everyone somewhat get to know each other
- 20:42Speaker 2: and be open and trying to somewhat form some alliances.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Except for Star who was just wandering around, which was
- 20:50Speaker 2: fantastic to watch.
- 20:52Speaker 3: That's why I think, did I answer you that Loggie
- 20:55Speaker 3: is my favorite tribe?
- 20:57Speaker 2: Okay, the Purple team. The Purple Team is absolutely They're
- 21:01Speaker 2: the best tee and they are my favorite too. But
- 21:03Speaker 2: I love the losers right now. I love these losers.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I do.
- 21:07Speaker 2: They're just so entertaining and it's so hard they they
- 21:11Speaker 2: weren't dealt a good hand because they don't have muscle
- 21:15Speaker 2: on their team. I mean, Mary seems very strong and
- 21:20Speaker 2: then the rest are just kind of mediocre.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Well, they just got rid of Kevin. He he was
- 21:25Speaker 3: their muscle. Getting rid of Kevin. Kevin thing Say is
- 21:30Speaker 3: Say is one of the most erratic players I've ever seen.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Okay, wow, that says a lot. She does seem like
- 21:39Speaker 2: she is coming at it with some wild stuff.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Doing things that I don't understand.
- 21:45Speaker 2: The running after Mary, Like what was her point to
- 21:50Speaker 2: make sure that she knew if she got an idol?
- 21:52Speaker 3: Yeah, so this is a thing that happens a lot. Amy, God,
- 21:55Speaker 3: I feel so in control being the expert. Oh it
- 22:00Speaker 3: feels good.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Jamie just grew two dimples.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Actually, just how you do it on drama, Darling so
- 22:11Speaker 3: in the lare of it all, there have been several
- 22:14Speaker 3: seasons where people follow people when they're looking for idols, okay,
- 22:18Speaker 3: because they don't, you know, and it always, to me
- 22:21Speaker 3: is a little annoying. I get it, but I don't
- 22:24Speaker 3: really remember anyone running like that. And at the commercial
- 22:28Speaker 3: break when she was running, I was like, why is
- 22:30Speaker 3: she running? Like? I was like, did she get stung
- 22:32Speaker 3: by a beat? Like really so concerned about Mary, and
- 22:36Speaker 3: so I was like, there's something about Mary. She done
- 22:39Speaker 3: got stung. She got a wasp, she got a wasp nest,
- 22:43Speaker 3: she got a wasp nesk above her head or something.
- 22:45Speaker 3: So then I was like, what the fuck is that
- 22:47Speaker 3: going to be? But then it was her running. So yeah,
- 22:49Speaker 3: their relationship is odd.
- 22:51Speaker 2: It's very odd, but it was very funny in the end.
- 22:54Speaker 2: If they could come together, it will all make sense.
- 22:57Speaker 2: And it feels like it's heading in that direction based
- 22:59Speaker 2: on Cedric's ultimatum.
- 23:01Speaker 3: I know, I hope so. So also in a first
- 23:08Speaker 3: season or sorry, first three episodes, this is very soon
- 23:12Speaker 3: to have idols. By the way, Star has one, Si
- 23:16Speaker 3: had one and lost it, and Kyle has one, so
- 23:20Speaker 3: that's very rare. Usually they take a little longer to find,
- 23:25Speaker 3: and certainly I cannot recall, although I'm sure some of
- 23:29Speaker 3: those really really deep survivor heads would know. But like
- 23:32Speaker 3: for three idols to be in play that quickly, I think,
- 23:36Speaker 3: is uh, maybe a first or it's okay, maybe a first.
- 23:40Speaker 2: And what about those little scrolls.
- 23:42Speaker 3: I've never the little.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Little cinnamon sticks, those that they keep finding. It says
- 23:47Speaker 2: whether they're safe or not when they risk their vote.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Oh that is that's been in play for a while.
- 23:52Speaker 3: So those little cinnamon sticks are called oh god, now
- 23:56Speaker 3: now I'm blinking, they're called a play You're shot in
- 23:59Speaker 3: the dark and Dante shot in the dark. Those have
- 24:01Speaker 3: been around a while shot so.
- 24:03Speaker 2: They just find those willy nilly and the oh.
- 24:05Speaker 3: That's not it. Everyone gets one of those emails. Oh
- 24:09Speaker 3: and you can play those any time you're at tribal.
- 24:13Speaker 3: If you think you're on in the hot seat, you
- 24:18Speaker 3: can play your shot in the dark. But when you
- 24:20Speaker 3: play it, you lose your vote, okay, to find out
- 24:25Speaker 3: if you're safe or not safe.
- 24:27Speaker 2: It's just that I thought that people found them, because
- 24:31Speaker 2: say was very surprised that Mary played that, and she's like,
- 24:35Speaker 2: I knew it. I knew it. And I thought, oh, okay,
- 24:37Speaker 2: so she well, you're right, everybody gets one.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Yeah, ok everything, everything, oh god, everything you're hearing and
- 24:44Speaker 3: feeling was correct because Mary, because say again, is very
- 24:50Speaker 3: erratic the way she was acting. I knew she was
- 24:53Speaker 3: going to play it. I know, Yeah, of course she's
- 24:55Speaker 3: going to play it, right.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Was it so surprising then?
- 24:57Speaker 3: Okay? Yeah? And also remember stay he played hers and
- 25:01Speaker 3: still and hers said not safe.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Stephanie, Yeah, the first one to go was Stephanie.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Name is Stephani? Yeah, she played hers, Yeah, but her
- 25:11Speaker 3: said not safe. So basically, here's what happens with the
- 25:14Speaker 3: the shot in the dark Amy. Most of the time
- 25:17Speaker 3: when people play it, it doesn't work out for them.
- 25:19Speaker 3: But every once in a while, in certain seasons, someone
- 25:22Speaker 3: will play their shot in the Dark and it works perfectly,
- 25:26Speaker 3: and then the whole tribe goes crazy because there's like
- 25:29Speaker 3: someone that usually they start picking on the strongest person.
- 25:32Speaker 3: I can't remember what season, but it's in my head
- 25:34Speaker 3: a previous season where they were really wanting to get
- 25:37Speaker 3: this scale out and then she she kept finding like
- 25:40Speaker 3: idols and playing her shots of the dark, and like
- 25:42Speaker 3: she kept sticking around and it was like super fascinating.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Wow.
- 25:46Speaker 3: So yes, did you say that Gal's name was Stephanie. Yeah, okay,
- 25:51Speaker 3: let's go to episode one. Stephanie, you biffed it. She
- 25:55Speaker 3: was too like relaxed and kooky, and I think in
- 26:00Speaker 3: easy vote out for the first vote, you know. And
- 26:03Speaker 3: remember you remember how I said on Traders that at
- 26:07Speaker 3: first they're voting like on Survivor. Here's what I meant.
- 26:10Speaker 3: In the beginning of Traders, they just want to make
- 26:12Speaker 3: sure they're not in the hot seat. It's the same
- 26:15Speaker 3: thing as Survivor. Okay, so the minute someone floats someone
- 26:18Speaker 3: else's name, people start jumping.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Jumping on it.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 2: I thought she was a good person to leave.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I did too. I was fine with that. It
- 26:26Speaker 3: was good.
- 26:26Speaker 2: It was now let me ask you this though. Kevin
- 26:30Speaker 2: was definitely a surprise and it was his to lose.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I felt like he really started to move and shuffle
- 26:38Speaker 2: and shake and zig and zag way too soon. He
- 26:42Speaker 2: got too excited. And that was really a bummer to
- 26:44Speaker 2: see because I thought I would have seen him go
- 26:46Speaker 2: to the end based on his enthusiasm and his passion
- 26:50Speaker 2: and all that stuff.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and when he's a finance manager, no teen, no
- 26:55Speaker 3: shade on any finance managers listening. But he he, I
- 26:59Speaker 3: cannot believe that him and Cedric could not get that
- 27:02Speaker 3: booie across that was annoyingly banned.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Weren't they the second round to try it? Like the
- 27:09Speaker 2: first round of people from that team didn't do it either,
- 27:13Speaker 2: and then they had to step in.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Yeah, and Chrissy did it on Siva. She's older. I
- 27:20Speaker 3: forget who she was paired with. She's fifty five years
- 27:23Speaker 3: old from Chicago. Hey, Chrissy, go see Amy at the
- 27:26Speaker 3: Apollo Theater. Oh, Christy, I just love to have you.
- 27:31Speaker 2: You know. It also makes me think of Tom Sandoval's mom,
- 27:33Speaker 2: who was like, who works for fire Lament? And she
- 27:36Speaker 2: looks like her? Okay, wait, so when.
- 27:40Speaker 3: So Sandoval's mom should go on Survivor because she's broke
- 27:43Speaker 3: because he banked reporter to open a bar and then
- 27:47Speaker 3: to publicly cheat on his girlfriend with a star that
- 27:50Speaker 3: he also had on the reality show, only to redeem
- 27:53Speaker 3: himself in my eyes, on Traders.
- 27:55Speaker 2: And all of ours. But that's neither here nor there.
- 27:57Speaker 2: So Kevin and Cedric did not get that ball across,
- 28:01Speaker 2: But Justin seems pretty good with circular things. You know,
- 28:05Speaker 2: He's balancing pizzas he's moving, he's taking up Why didn't
- 28:08Speaker 2: they get him over on that? That doesn't make us
- 28:11Speaker 2: They all biffed it there so.
- 28:13Speaker 3: And also, by the way, Cedric, I want my surgeon
- 28:16Speaker 3: to have some precision. You can't get that ball across
- 28:20Speaker 3: by being precise. Now you want to take out my spleen,
- 28:23Speaker 3: I don't.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Know any Jamie, Oh my god, that's bad. That's bad murder.
- 28:32Speaker 3: He'll murder you when he accidentally slices your liver with
- 28:35Speaker 3: a laparoscopic camera.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Because he's gonna be triggered every single time he gets
- 28:40Speaker 2: a tool in his hand that is remotely the shape
- 28:42Speaker 2: of that thing. He's gonna be like, he's gonna be
- 28:46Speaker 2: PTSD from Survivor. He's gonna have to retire. And okay,
- 28:51Speaker 2: Eva was really killing it with the baskets, you know,
- 28:54Speaker 2: the balls in the baskets, and then Mitch came up
- 28:57Speaker 2: and sunk it, sunk it, sunk it, really get a
- 29:00Speaker 2: run for money where she was like, I gotta trade
- 29:02Speaker 2: this over and so finally Joe was able to do that.
- 29:04Speaker 2: But that was a really fun challenge.
- 29:05Speaker 3: That was the one gree I loved the challenges. On
- 29:09Speaker 3: episode two, and episode three.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Okay, so let's let's take a quick break and then
- 29:15Speaker 2: we'll bounce. We'll just bounce right back into survivor whether.
- 29:18Speaker 3: It's about Boe booie back in, well, booie.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Back in, and then we'll go from there. So hold
- 29:23Speaker 2: on one second, we need to talk about menopause, ladies,

- 32:58Speaker 2: with Jamie Moyer, who is Lee the charge on this.
- 33:01Speaker 2: So Jamie, as we kind of cycle out of episode one,
- 33:05Speaker 2: we can kind of mesh maybe two and three together
- 33:08Speaker 2: in order to get our momentum. So where would you
- 33:10Speaker 2: like to go next?
- 33:11Speaker 3: Let's go right to two just because Okay, I want
- 33:14Speaker 3: to say about Star. Okay, that that Star, it started
- 33:20Speaker 3: to hurt my heart. How they are, how she was
- 33:24Speaker 3: the odd person out but then she kind of is
- 33:27Speaker 3: leading that being that person anyway, so she goes on
- 33:30Speaker 3: her idols idle hunt. Yeah, Amy, I find it so
- 33:34Speaker 3: exciting when people find idols.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Oh God, Jamie, I get it.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Oh, I get it.
- 33:39Speaker 2: And do you when they they ask the question and
- 33:43Speaker 2: the or whatever the riddle is and you had these clues,
- 33:45Speaker 2: are you like ever figuring it out?
- 33:49Speaker 3: Not me? So let's go through a little idol lore.
- 33:54Speaker 3: At first, you would just find an idol. I think
- 33:57Speaker 3: now in these later seasons you you find it and
- 34:01Speaker 3: it is a beware advantage or something meaning like if
- 34:04Speaker 3: you can't solve it, you lose your.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Vote for that night or for every time. Okay, every
- 34:11Speaker 2: single time you go to tribal, you lose your vote
- 34:13Speaker 2: until you open that.
- 34:15Speaker 3: I that's a great question. I think it's like that.
- 34:18Speaker 3: But regardless for I think, yeah, I think at least
- 34:21Speaker 3: for sure the first one and probably everyone until then
- 34:25Speaker 3: you lose it.
- 34:25Speaker 2: But no one would know that you didn't have a vote.
- 34:28Speaker 3: No one would know unless your tie vote five people
- 34:32Speaker 3: and you obviously like that was the thing about that
- 34:36Speaker 3: final tribal. Didn't they realize the math? Was it mathing
- 34:40Speaker 3: on the first vote? One vote for one vote for Jeremy.
- 34:44Speaker 3: That means Mary lost her vote. So I would immediately
- 34:47Speaker 3: look over at Rice and it be like, what the heck? Right?
- 34:53Speaker 2: Who didn't vote?
- 34:54Speaker 3: Why?
- 34:55Speaker 2: Is it only because because Judge or Justin Jeff was like, okay,
- 35:00Speaker 2: vote for Mary, one vote for Say or whatever it was.
- 35:04Speaker 2: And then I was like and and I had forgotten
- 35:08Speaker 2: it was Mary that lost her vote.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Right, Mary lost her vote, and so did Justin. So
- 35:13Speaker 3: Justin had gone to this, that's right.
- 35:16Speaker 2: He's such a that pizza guy.
- 35:18Speaker 3: What an idiot.
- 35:19Speaker 2: No, I'm sorry, I do love this dude. I mean,
- 35:21Speaker 2: he's a piece of work. I'm kind of Bummy's gone, Okay,
- 35:26Speaker 2: go on, Jamie, I'm sorry.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Keeping yeah, yeah, I kind of wanted him to just
- 35:29Speaker 3: because I loved to me. One of the best moments
- 35:33Speaker 3: so far on this season is when he was talking
- 35:35Speaker 3: to Cedric, and I think Justin kind of knew that
- 35:37Speaker 3: he couldn't come back from betraying Cedric, but I loved him.
- 35:40Speaker 3: He was like, you know what, do what you gotta do,
- 35:44Speaker 3: and no matter what, we'll always have you at Luigi's. Hey,
- 35:49Speaker 3: no matter what, a pizza for you at Luigi's. Sir
- 35:54Speaker 3: is sir, meat lover, veggie, marguerite, gluten free, crust, vegan,
- 36:02Speaker 3: whatever you need, whatever you eat, duck, although don't say, doc,
- 36:07Speaker 3: did you peep that Cedric is telling them he's an
- 36:09Speaker 3: English teacher when really he's a surgeon.
- 36:12Speaker 2: No way, why would he do that?
- 36:14Speaker 3: Because and this is a great, great thing that they
- 36:17Speaker 3: do on this show. I mean, I'd love that I
- 36:19Speaker 3: finally have something that art a part They don't They
- 36:23Speaker 3: know from watching every season that certain careers get them
- 36:29Speaker 3: in a in a place of red flag surgeon being
- 36:34Speaker 3: one of them in that that shows them what he's
- 36:38Speaker 3: extremely smart, do you know what I mean?
- 36:41Speaker 2: And English teachers are stupid.
- 36:46Speaker 3: But also you can work against you later because then
- 36:49Speaker 3: people are talking and they're like, hey, guess what, I'm
- 36:52Speaker 3: a hairstylist. Does that I really need the money? He's
- 36:55Speaker 3: a surgeon, give it to me, right, And also you know,
- 37:00Speaker 3: so there's and then also you know what what occupation
- 37:03Speaker 3: They tend to always hide lawyers. The lawyers don't like
- 37:08Speaker 3: them to know their lawyers because lawyers are great at arguing,
- 37:12Speaker 3: they know, you know what I mean, Like they kind
- 37:14Speaker 3: of want you to think, you know, I'm a bumbling
- 37:17Speaker 3: ding dong. But then they also, you know, who else
- 37:20Speaker 3: they put on their radars are like moms, single moms
- 37:23Speaker 3: and stuff, because then they're like they're always thinking ahead
- 37:28Speaker 3: to the end, and they know that the that the
- 37:31Speaker 3: single mom will probably win over a lawyer, so they
- 37:35Speaker 3: have to start thinking about what they reveal to each other.
- 37:38Speaker 3: There was someone last season who was had sold a
- 37:41Speaker 3: startup for a million dollars and she wouldn't shut up
- 37:45Speaker 3: about it, you know, and so you have to be careful.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Well, the game is really evolved, so at this point,
- 37:50Speaker 2: when you come in and somebody tells you what they do,
- 37:53Speaker 2: you can't take them at their word. So the whole
- 37:55Speaker 2: time you're like, you're wearing a T shirt that says pizza,
- 37:59Speaker 2: You're You're you Probably you're probably Jeff Bezos. Like, yes,
- 38:03Speaker 2: you take off the mask, you know we who are you?
- 38:07Speaker 3: Yeah? Who are you? No? That's so true. Yeah. And
- 38:10Speaker 3: also it's just kind of like people read into people's ages,
- 38:15Speaker 3: which is bad. So also last season we had a
- 38:17Speaker 3: lady who told them she was and forgive me again,
- 38:20Speaker 3: survivor heads, I need you to understand the minute I
- 38:22Speaker 3: stop watching a show, it's out of my mind. Kind
- 38:24Speaker 3: of and so my facts may not be facting, but
- 38:28Speaker 3: it's like this Amy, she said she was forty six
- 38:31Speaker 3: and she was really fifty nine. Like she told them
- 38:34Speaker 3: she was younger because she doesn't want them going, oh,
- 38:37Speaker 3: so and so's dead weight because she's fifty nine. Yeah,
- 38:39Speaker 3: It's like it's like they do their ages.
- 38:42Speaker 2: That's why I tell you guys that I'm fifty but
- 38:46Speaker 2: I'm really eighty two.
- 38:48Speaker 3: And I tell you I'm thirty five because I'm thirty five. Okay,
- 38:54Speaker 3: let's keep going. Okay, So in the uh in the
- 39:00Speaker 3: in the Loggy tribe. This is another reason Loggi tribe
- 39:04Speaker 3: might be my favorite. They're all playing a future game.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Especially Thomas, he's he he'll get messy.
- 39:14Speaker 2: And that's like the first day he kind of you know,
- 39:19Speaker 2: connected with Bianca. Then the next thing you know, he's
- 39:22Speaker 2: over with show. Is it sha Shaheen or is.
- 39:25Speaker 3: It just shan shaheen shahin not let sean.
- 39:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 39:29Speaker 3: I wrote it like this shaheen.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Okay, so he yeah, so Shahin. So then next thing
- 39:34Speaker 2: you know, he's in California girls. And then the next
- 39:37Speaker 2: thing you know, he's you know, got star. I mean,
- 39:39Speaker 2: he is really bobbing and weaving.
- 39:41Speaker 3: He's smart. He's bobbing and weaving, but this is smart.
- 39:44Speaker 3: The place you, the way you want to be is
- 39:46Speaker 3: in a power position where everyone thinks you're on their side.
- 39:49Speaker 3: And then those people that are lucky enough to be
- 39:52Speaker 3: in that position are able to pick and choose what
- 39:54Speaker 3: they want to do. And that's the part of the
- 39:56Speaker 3: show that's so so strategic. So it's the socialist part
- 40:01Speaker 3: playing the social part. And also, yeah, the lying, like
- 40:05Speaker 3: Shaheen is, is also a debate. Professor. I noticed again
- 40:10Speaker 3: I'm not as this title. Yeah, I'm not sure I
- 40:13Speaker 3: would because I because again, they're looking for anything. And
- 40:17Speaker 3: when the merge comes, which might be soon considering we
- 40:21Speaker 3: have a tribe with only four people now and they're terrible,
- 40:25Speaker 3: the next thing I imagine is a potential merge. And
- 40:28Speaker 3: what that is is they'll like go to rocks or something,
- 40:30Speaker 3: and every blue rock go over here, every orange rock
- 40:34Speaker 3: go over here. The colors of the tigers and the
- 40:37Speaker 3: colors of the lions.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Oh nice.
- 40:41Speaker 3: But then they break up and so like, let's say
- 40:43Speaker 3: you've worked really hard to create a relationship, you worked
- 40:49Speaker 3: really hard to forge your relationship with your team. Oh,
- 40:52Speaker 3: now they're on the other side, so everything can be used.
- 40:57Speaker 3: So in the second episode, Kevin and Cedric bift it.
- 41:03Speaker 3: And this is where if I was wanting to vote
- 41:06Speaker 3: Kevin out, I'd be like, you know what, he may
- 41:08Speaker 3: have the muscles, but he's just a financial manager, you
- 41:11Speaker 3: know what I mean. But somehow side pulled it off.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Right now, I'm saying Size say is playing the most
- 41:17Speaker 3: chaotic game I've ever seen, but also somehow everything is
- 41:20Speaker 3: going says way. The idle game of seeing like a
- 41:26Speaker 3: dolphin on a tree, I believe that is also the
- 41:29Speaker 3: first time that's okay, darlings in the comments, let me know,
- 41:33Speaker 3: but I think I've never seen a fun puzzle with
- 41:39Speaker 3: that fun noticing things on trees vibe and so Star
- 41:45Speaker 3: couldn't figure her puzzle out. And that's when I realized
- 41:48Speaker 3: Thomas was such a gamer, because he was like, oopsie,
- 41:51Speaker 3: what if you lose?
- 41:52Speaker 2: The was crazy wild and Shaene was onto that too,
- 41:58Speaker 2: or some that he was that was like, oh, yeah,
- 42:00Speaker 2: you're right.
- 42:01Speaker 3: He was like, I'm like that, that's.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Insane, Like that's another that's a He'll remember that later
- 42:08Speaker 2: and it will come back to bite Thomas and the
- 42:10Speaker 2: ass and his little California girls.
- 42:12Speaker 3: That's right. Oh and also Camilla, I haven't talked about
- 42:15Speaker 3: her yet. In my on my very oddly written chart,
- 42:20Speaker 3: only one team has two hearts. Every team has one.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Only one team has two. That is the Siva tribe.
- 42:29Speaker 3: A heart for Mitch because he's a dang sweetie, but
- 42:31Speaker 3: also a heart for Camilla. I love her.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I love her too, and I love her game playing.
- 42:36Speaker 3: She can.
- 42:37Speaker 2: She's a little messy and I love that. And she's
- 42:41Speaker 2: not afraid to play the game. She's super smart and
- 42:43Speaker 2: she's really enthusiastic. Yeah fun, and she did. She was great. Yes,
- 42:49Speaker 2: I agree. I love her.
- 42:51Speaker 3: And I actually also very much like Kyle who won
- 42:54Speaker 3: the idol and he is an attorney. So even though
- 42:57Speaker 3: the Loggi tribe is my favorite, there are a lot
- 43:00Speaker 3: of members on both of the other tribes that I
- 43:02Speaker 3: do like. And this is how Survivor gets you. They
- 43:04Speaker 3: draw you in. They're very smart. Forty eight seasons, they
- 43:08Speaker 3: know how to edit, to grab your interest and pull
- 43:12Speaker 3: at your heart strings, and they've done it again the
- 43:16Speaker 3: Booie episode Kevin went home because he sucked at being
- 43:20Speaker 3: a booie guy, and Say and the whole rest of
- 43:23Speaker 3: the team completely blindsided Kevin, which is always fun to
- 43:26Speaker 3: watch because they're always so egotistical. He was like, here's
- 43:29Speaker 3: the plan, and then they always do a confessional where
- 43:31Speaker 3: they're like, guess what I've got this game on it
- 43:35Speaker 3: lock and then then the show shows you the other thing.
- 43:38Speaker 3: They're like Kevin, yeah, Kevin. So it's just so funny
- 43:41Speaker 3: because he was so he was just like, yes, Lisa,
- 43:45Speaker 3: I like that.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Cedric had says back, He's like, you need to play
- 43:48Speaker 2: your idol tonight because.
- 43:51Speaker 3: But she was mad about that. That's why I think
- 43:53Speaker 3: and more and more thinking, why is she chaotic? She
- 43:57Speaker 3: they forced her to play her idol and she shouldn't have.
- 44:00Speaker 3: She does feel the trust, but really they keep betraying her.
- 44:04Speaker 3: So maybe that's why she's acting the way.
- 44:06Speaker 2: But no, but she was acting that way before. Their
- 44:09Speaker 2: Vulu is out of wax since day one. They are
- 44:14Speaker 2: not a full they are not a saw, they are
- 44:21Speaker 2: not a full pizza. They are missing everything and they
- 44:25Speaker 2: cannot connect. Then they're just being so weird. But the
- 44:29Speaker 2: way that they play and I'm talking to you Mary
- 44:32Speaker 2: and Say and Kevin even though you're gone, the way
- 44:35Speaker 2: those three were playing making a chemical reaction happen. Essentially,
- 44:39Speaker 2: three other groups weren't so they didn't have unity, and
- 44:42Speaker 2: they're all playing these individual things. So that's why it
- 44:46Speaker 2: kind of exploded. So they really needed They had no chance.
- 44:49Speaker 3: They had no kumbaya. I think that you have justin
- 44:56Speaker 3: is head in the clouds. Say and Mary are at
- 45:00Speaker 3: each other's throats for no good reason. Cedric's off crying,
- 45:03Speaker 3: Kevin's got muscles and not using them. I mean, it
- 45:07Speaker 3: was just a it was just a perfect storm that
- 45:09Speaker 3: was adud of a tribe, which is why they're about
- 45:11Speaker 3: to parcel them out into other people. But I may
- 45:16Speaker 3: have a prediction. I predict that Say will be chaotic
- 45:19Speaker 3: for the entire show. She's gonna make mistakes, but sometimes
- 45:23Speaker 3: it might work out. Like I've never seen two players
- 45:25Speaker 3: like her and Mary are like Tom and Jerry. Remember
- 45:29Speaker 3: the end of the movie Baby Mama with Amy Pohler
- 45:33Speaker 3: and Tina Fey. It's like they don't like each other,
- 45:37Speaker 3: but they love each other. They're they're at each other's throats,
- 45:40Speaker 3: but they're best friends. That's how. And I don't really
- 45:42Speaker 3: remember because I remember at one point Mary could have
- 45:44Speaker 3: said something nice and she was like, I'm not saying
- 45:47Speaker 3: that nice thing because I don't feel it and I'm
- 45:49Speaker 3: not doing that much, like, yeah, well.
- 45:52Speaker 2: I feel like Say did say a couple of things
- 45:55Speaker 2: that was funny and we're positive. So when Mary played
- 46:00Speaker 2: her shot in the dark, says like, I knew it,
- 46:03Speaker 2: and then she goes, that's my girl, but like not
- 46:06Speaker 2: in a good way, but kind of in a good way.
- 46:07Speaker 2: It was so funny, it was cute. You know, he
- 46:10Speaker 2: could have some longevity to this in terms of being
- 46:12Speaker 2: put on other shows at the same time, because they're
- 46:15Speaker 2: building an historic relationship.
- 46:18Speaker 3: That's right, well, and I think if they were smart,
- 46:21Speaker 3: Say and Mary, if you can hear my voice in
- 46:24Speaker 3: the past when the show was made, you two should
- 46:28Speaker 3: secretly pair up and then tell everyone else the million
- 46:32Speaker 3: reasons you don't like each other, but be a secret alliance.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's such a good idea. I hope
- 46:39Speaker 2: that Cedric will be mad, because then that was the
- 46:42Speaker 2: reason why he kept say but well, I want to
- 46:45Speaker 2: talk to you about what Jeff coined as one of
- 46:48Speaker 2: the most historic tribal councils that he's ever seen. Is
- 46:54Speaker 2: that true?
- 46:56Speaker 3: Yes, it is, And I'm gonna tell you, Wow, that
- 46:59Speaker 3: was amazing. Justin tribal is a perfect storm that like
- 47:05Speaker 3: none I've ever seen before, which is why he said
- 47:08Speaker 3: it's never happened before.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Can we call it the Pizza Tribal?
- 47:11Speaker 3: He said, call it the Pizza Tribal. Thank you? Okay, Amy,
- 47:18Speaker 3: So at the Pizza Tribal, the infamous Pizza Tribal of
- 47:21Speaker 3: seventeen seventy six. It was a perfect storm in that
- 47:27Speaker 3: first and foremost. There's only five of them. Okay, yeah,
- 47:32Speaker 3: I got you three for five.
- 47:33Speaker 2: I got to do some notes, do some math.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Okay, this is like new math. Yeah, which I don't
- 47:40Speaker 3: I don't understand and part of the reason I never
- 47:42Speaker 3: had kids. There's five of them, got that, Jamie, Thank you.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Mary loses her vote okay, which is kind of normal.
- 47:53Speaker 3: But she also is safe, which is kind of rare
- 47:57Speaker 3: because say you're advantage, you play your show in the dark.
- 48:01Speaker 3: She got safe, and she lost her vote in the process.
- 48:05Speaker 3: So now you have four votes only. Okay, Mary's votes
- 48:09Speaker 3: out and she's safe. So this is why it was
- 48:12Speaker 3: so exciting. No one can vote for Mary because she's safe,
- 48:18Speaker 3: so it has to be amongst the other four. And
- 48:21Speaker 3: also though Mary's not voting, so that kind of just
- 48:24Speaker 3: she's out. So now you've got Justin Cedric, say, and
- 48:31Speaker 3: let's say Mary, Justin and Cedric. So now you're down
- 48:35Speaker 3: to four people. Okay, right? Yeap, are you knowing you're
- 48:40Speaker 3: down to three people?
- 48:41Speaker 2: Just three people? Because yeah, Justin Cedric, you're.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Down to three people. Of those three, Justin has lost
- 48:49Speaker 3: his vote. Very rare. This is another thing leading to
- 48:52Speaker 3: the pizza tribal. Justin has lost his vote. And even
- 48:55Speaker 3: more tantalizing is Ustin has not told anyone he lost
- 49:02Speaker 3: his vote. He's trying to fly under the radar. Would
- 49:04Speaker 3: if you lose your vote when we've merged and it's
- 49:06Speaker 3: a team of eleven, sure that can go under the radar, right,
- 49:09Speaker 3: And the hell did you think that you're not voting
- 49:12Speaker 3: could go under the radar? And so basically when they
- 49:17Speaker 3: first found out that Justin didn't have a vote, wasn't
- 49:19Speaker 3: at this point in tribal. It was at the beginning
- 49:22Speaker 3: when they when they only read two votes, right and
- 49:27Speaker 3: looking around then, and I didn't understand why no one
- 49:30Speaker 3: realized why that happened. They should have immediately been like,
- 49:33Speaker 3: what's the outlier situation here? Although no, I changed my mind.
- 49:37Speaker 3: Someone could have found an idol. Someone could have gone
- 49:41Speaker 3: on a journey and lost their vote, which is what
- 49:43Speaker 3: happened to Justin. So then, so now you've got two votes,
- 49:47Speaker 3: one for Say and one for Justin. The only person
- 49:52Speaker 3: who can decide this is Cedric, and it was a deadlock. Again,
- 50:00Speaker 3: Cedric did not flip on side the second time. So
- 50:02Speaker 3: then Jeff is like, so he waits.
- 50:04Speaker 2: So so then Cedric voted for say say again, and
- 50:11Speaker 2: Justin voted for Say. No, no, he didn't have a vote.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Cedric voted for Say, and Say voted for Justin. Okay,
- 50:17Speaker 3: oh right, okay, thank you, Okay, that happened once. And
- 50:21Speaker 3: then where the thing that I've definitely never seen is, now.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Why would Cedric do that? We're going to be in
- 50:27Speaker 2: the same situation.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Because Justin told Cedric, well, hold on, this is why
- 50:32Speaker 3: Cedric voted for Say. Justin told Cedric, let's both vote
- 50:35Speaker 3: for Say.
- 50:35Speaker 2: I know, but after the first vote happened, I think
- 50:38Speaker 2: he was just doubling. He just said he was confused
- 50:41Speaker 2: and didn't realize the numbers were off, like, no, I
- 50:44Speaker 2: don't need.
- 50:44Speaker 3: The surgeon used, yeah, he's a surgeon.
- 50:46Speaker 2: That way, I wouldn't know.
- 50:48Speaker 3: I don't think he was confused. Amy. I think that
- 50:51Speaker 3: this is exactly what I thought was going on, and said,
- 50:53Speaker 3: I betrayed her. She hates that. I'm going to stick
- 50:57Speaker 3: with my decision because now I he didn't ever expect
- 51:01Speaker 3: Say to know he was betraying her and let alone
- 51:04Speaker 3: to keep her around because he thought him and Justin
- 51:06Speaker 3: were both voting for saying no, point blank period, and
- 51:10Speaker 3: he did not know. Yeah, yeah, he didn't know that
- 51:14Speaker 3: his ride or die it was not telling him. Yeah, imagine, Cedric,
- 51:19Speaker 3: you're in surgery, you call in your surgical nurse and
- 51:23Speaker 3: she's never trained in the office.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Yeah, So imagine Justin, if you you have you've got
- 51:29Speaker 2: a table, you've got a party of twelve, and no
- 51:35Speaker 2: one told you that half a dozen of them are
- 51:39Speaker 2: vegan and gluten free, and those pizzas are up and
- 51:43Speaker 2: you just killed half that party.
- 51:45Speaker 3: That's right. You don't have a front of house, no help,
- 51:48Speaker 3: you got nothing. Okay. So then I think he just
- 51:51Speaker 3: doubled down on the second boat. And then the reason
- 51:54Speaker 3: I think that he ultimately flipped was he looked at
- 51:58Speaker 3: Justin and was like this burner, this burnout.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Ye, this burnout, guys, Why to me isn't worthy of
- 52:07Speaker 2: carrying my scrubs to laundry.
- 52:09Speaker 3: That's bye bye, bye bye. So that's why and so
- 52:14Speaker 3: that's what happened, and it was an exciting tribal. I
- 52:19Speaker 3: cannot wait for this season. I loved watching the challenges,
- 52:24Speaker 3: especially the blind challenge is always one of my favorites.
- 52:27Speaker 3: SI was cracking me up when she he's like, go
- 52:30Speaker 3: to your left and she's like ugh. He's like, no,
- 52:33Speaker 3: your left, She's like ugh, like crack.
- 52:35Speaker 2: That was the direct because when everyone had different ways
- 52:39Speaker 2: of saying the directions, they're like twelve o'clock, they're like
- 52:42Speaker 2: north west ninety degrees. I'm like, fuck you.
- 52:46Speaker 3: That's what always happened.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it never confused.
- 52:49Speaker 3: I would never be the caller because I already could
- 52:51Speaker 3: barely tell time on a clock as No, that would
- 52:53Speaker 3: have been really tough. All my clocks in my house
- 52:56Speaker 3: are digital. I don't got time to be counting circles
- 52:59Speaker 3: of the degrees.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Justin's like a corner of a pizza, A corner of
- 53:05Speaker 2: a pizza.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Half a pizza half is mamvaroni, half is mushroom. You're
- 53:11Speaker 3: at the intersection of mushroom and baroni. So that was great.
- 53:19Speaker 3: It's going to be an amazing season. Those are some
- 53:22Speaker 3: great first sodes. I can't wait to recap this with
- 53:25Speaker 3: you and Emily and the Darlings. And if this is
- 53:28Speaker 3: a Darlings first foray into Survivor, you're doing it with
- 53:32Speaker 3: the right people, Babe.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. Jamie is leading the charge. She is
- 53:37Speaker 2: our Jeff Probst. She is our Richard Hatch without going
- 53:41Speaker 2: to jail and without being mad. A horrific person, but
- 53:45Speaker 2: just a just a leader.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Thank you. I'm gonna start saying that's how you do
- 53:50Speaker 3: it on Diama, Darlings. I also want to give a
- 53:54Speaker 3: shout out to that too, a shout out to whom
- 53:59Speaker 3: That dice scheme that was really fun where you got
- 54:01Speaker 3: the four fires or the force calls.
- 54:03Speaker 2: It reminded you've written all over.
- 54:05Speaker 3: It reminded me of one of my favorite games on
- 54:08Speaker 3: the Price is Right, the one where they throw the
- 54:10Speaker 3: big dice oh yeah, to get the price of the car.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Yes.
- 54:15Speaker 3: And if they get a six, they know it's a
- 54:17Speaker 3: six or lower. If they get a one, they know
- 54:18Speaker 3: it's a one or higher. The hardest thing is when
- 54:21Speaker 3: you get fives and fours, you know, and so that's
- 54:23Speaker 3: like reminding me of that game. So that was great.
- 54:25Speaker 2: That was great.
- 54:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Oh and then I just want to say one more thing.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Justin was like shake, shake, shake, all right, that didn't
- 54:37Speaker 2: work out?
- 54:38Speaker 3: Well, so I do.
- 54:41Speaker 2: And then he comes back and then like, this was
- 54:43Speaker 2: crazy to me that I think two out of the
- 54:46Speaker 2: three of the players made up an entire story about
- 54:49Speaker 2: what they did on the journey, which was so wild,
- 54:53Speaker 2: and Justin's.
- 54:54Speaker 3: Story was so complicated. I'm like, why don't you just
- 54:57Speaker 3: tell about the dice? There was no reason. He was like,
- 55:01Speaker 3: there were six white question marks shaped like a turtle,
- 55:06Speaker 3: there was eight red x's, like were.
- 55:10Speaker 2: You on ayahuasca? Or did you play a game? What happened?
- 55:14Speaker 2: And meanwhile was he like also at the end of
- 55:17Speaker 2: the time and then the explanation, he was like, but
- 55:20Speaker 2: I lost. It's like, well, what did you gain from
- 55:22Speaker 2: telling a total lie?
- 55:24Speaker 4: You know?
- 55:24Speaker 2: And I just didn't understand all of that. But I
- 55:28Speaker 2: guess at the end of the day, it's all par
- 55:30Speaker 2: for the course.
- 55:31Speaker 3: Yeah, unbelievable, kind of wild, right it is. It is
- 55:37Speaker 3: a thing, though, Amy, that they come back from those
- 55:40Speaker 3: side challenges lying. That's the other thing about the Siva tribe.
- 55:44Speaker 3: That's so cute. Mitch came back and told the exact truth,
- 55:47Speaker 3: and that kind of forced, was it Camilla to come
- 55:50Speaker 3: back the same and tell the exact truth about what
- 55:53Speaker 3: happened on hers because remember when she came back and
- 55:55Speaker 3: she's like, I didn't want to do it, but you
- 55:57Speaker 3: know the president is are telling. So anyway, here's what happened.
- 56:01Speaker 3: I got an extra vote. So let me let me
- 56:03Speaker 3: tell you what's something interesting going forward. Okay, Right now,
- 56:06Speaker 3: the Siva tribe's very unified, and they have two advantages
- 56:14Speaker 3: under their belt. Camilla has something and so does Kyle.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Okay, okay, they have a idol.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Kyle has an idol. Camilla has an advantage from the
- 56:25Speaker 3: rolling dice game, so she.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Can take to vote, she can take a vote from
- 56:29Speaker 2: some or block someone else exactly exactly.
- 56:31Speaker 3: So that tribe currently is in great shape. But if
- 56:37Speaker 3: they merge or mix them up, those items now become
- 56:42Speaker 3: very dangerous for both of those people because David, Charity,
- 56:46Speaker 3: Chrissy or Mitch could tell anyone else that Camilla and
- 56:49Speaker 3: Kyle have those things, and the minute you know someone
- 56:52Speaker 3: has an advantage, it puts a target on their head. Similarly,
- 56:56Speaker 3: with the Loggie Tribe star has an idol. Anyone finds
- 57:00Speaker 3: that out is very dangerous, and Thomas has an advantage.
- 57:04Speaker 3: So everyone has something except for that sadass Cedric tribe
- 57:09Speaker 3: that's name I can't even remember. And they were only yeah,
- 57:13Speaker 3: they're only four, they're only three left now right, yes,
- 57:16Speaker 3: y Mary and Cedric. So basically there has to be
- 57:19Speaker 3: some kind of emerge next episode. I think.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Okay, all right, and before we wrap it up, Jamie,
- 57:25Speaker 2: do you have a prediction as to who you think
- 57:27Speaker 2: will be like the top three players? Let's just pick
- 57:31Speaker 2: our top three players straight out?
- 57:33Speaker 3: Two? Should we do it privately? Do it privately? You pick,
- 57:38Speaker 3: don't tell me, I'll pick and don't tell you, and
- 57:40Speaker 3: then we'll say them.
- 57:41Speaker 2: At the same time you mean like right now or
- 57:44Speaker 2: you mean privately forever?
- 57:46Speaker 3: No, we'll say them. Oh, we'll say I'm gonna say
- 57:49Speaker 3: one of mine and we'll see if we have the
- 57:50Speaker 3: same Okay, one, just one, two, two, three, three? Come whoa, Okay,
- 57:59Speaker 3: that's good. I think Camilla's got legs. I need you.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Okay, let's say let's go move on to the to
- 58:05Speaker 2: the second one because we're going to do three one, one, two,
- 58:09Speaker 2: three Joe.
- 58:16Speaker 3: Joe. I want him to go to the end, but
- 58:18Speaker 3: he's one of those players. I think that it's going
- 58:20Speaker 3: to have a target on his head because he's strong
- 58:22Speaker 3: and nice.
- 58:23Speaker 2: You're right, you're right about that. I think you're right.
- 58:26Speaker 3: Okay, the last one, this is a wild card for me.
- 58:30Speaker 3: But we'll see if you agreed.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Okay, one two three Mary, Wow, Okay, No, that's why
- 58:43Speaker 2: I was going to choose.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Oh my god, that's who I was gonna choose. Okay,
- 58:45Speaker 3: write those down, write down our thoughts. So both agreed
- 58:49Speaker 3: on Camilla. I said, shaheen, you said Joe, and forgive
- 58:54Speaker 3: us if we're saying that name wrong. And then we
- 58:56Speaker 3: both agreed on Mary. Let's see what happens, sir.
