  Speaker 1: we'll be looking at activating and releasing the blessing. For

  Speaker 1: On a very life-transforming series from yesterday night, we're redefining
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: the blessing. And we took fundamentals yesterday night just to
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: be at the same page spiritually. And this morning, we
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: considered the purpose of the blessing. And for our final session,
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: we're looking at activating and releasing the blessing. As always,
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: I'll do a quick recap. And I always do this
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: recap because it helps in learning. But number two... so
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: that in the future it doesn't matter which of the
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: parts you take, you are able to connect with the
• 5:01
  Speaker 1: central thought before listening to whatever part of the series
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: you listen to. So in summary, we said a few things,
• 5:13
  Speaker 1: and I recapped this morning. I'll do that very quickly
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: so that I don't delve into too much of our time.
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: We've been discussing the subject of the blessings. And we
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: said a few things. Number one, that the blessing, generally speaking,
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: from a Bible standpoint, is associated with anything good, anything God,
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: anything glory. From salvation to peace to preservation to prosperity
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: to wisdom and so on and so forth. So it's
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: an all-encompassing word and it has various expressions as you'll
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: be learning tonight. And we also said that there are
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: many words that have been translated blessed or blessing in
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: the Bible. We considered at least two or three of them,
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: the Hebrew and the Greek, just to put in context.
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: Because there are times you read the Bible, like Psalm
• 6:02
  Speaker 1: 103 says, and you would hear bless the Lord. And
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: so if your understanding of blessing is limited to material things,
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: then that scripture does not make sense. Because bless the
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: Lord cannot mean empower the Lord. There's no way you
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: can empower him. His strength is not progressive. He does
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: not learn. God's knowledge is not progressive. Everything God is absolute.
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: He doesn't increase. There's no searching of his understanding. There's
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: nobody who teaches him. He does not limit. He doesn't
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: know more now than he knew before. He doesn't see
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: more now. Are we together? There's nothing called past and
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: future with God. Those realities don't exist. They are only
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: languages that are used to help our frame. His realm
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: is now all things consist immediately, the fullness of all things.
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: So there's nothing like time. That concept does not exist
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: in the economy of God as a person. He only
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: used it as a concept to help men relate with him.
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: Are we together? And so the prophet will say there
• 7:03
  Speaker 1: is no searching of his understanding. We learn progressively, but
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: God does not learn. He cannot learn. That ability does
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: not exist in him because learning demands submission to a
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: higher authority. But there is no man who can counsel him.
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: He feels all and in all by himself. Are we together?
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: And so when we talk about the blessing, the word barak,
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: the Hebrew word, it means to stoop down and to worship.
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: When you hear bless the Lord, it doesn't mean give
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: him money or empower him or advise him. Are we together?
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: It means to worship in recognition. to all that I
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: just mentioned, it is still blessing the Lord. Bless the Lord,
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: oh my soul, and all that is within me. Are
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: we together? And then number two, we spoke about the
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: Greek eulogia. That's the word that means empowered. It literally
• 8:00
  Speaker 1: means a good word or good speaking. That has to
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: do with conferring the blessing, making pronouncements upon another person
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: that leads to certain effects, effects of peace, effects of prosperity.
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: Are we together? So when we say eulogia, it's a
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: Greek word that refers to what we used to know
• 8:20
  Speaker 1: in the Old Testament, and it's still valid today, as
• 8:23
  Speaker 1: speaking the blessing over someone. So you confer the blessing
• 8:27
  Speaker 1: by speaking. And the first person who demonstrated that was
• 8:31
  Speaker 1: God himself, Genesis 1 and verse 28. And God blessed them.
• 8:35
  Speaker 1: He blessed Adam, that man he had created. And He said,
• 8:41
  Speaker 1: so he blessed by saying, be fruitful and multiply and
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: so on and so forth. And then we also mentioned
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: one word, makarios. You see, remember? The Greek word makarios.
• 8:54
  Speaker 1: And I said that has to do with the posture,
• 8:57
  Speaker 1: the portrait of being blessed. It's a man who is
• 9:03
  Speaker 1: actively manifesting the blessing, the word makarios. It means to
• 9:07
  Speaker 1: be privileged, to be fortunate. to stand out, to be conspicuous.
• 9:13
  Speaker 1: Are we together? To be energized by a rich supply
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: of every possibility. Paul, that was the sense that Paul
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: used when he says, and God is able to make
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: all grace abound towards you so that ye having sufficiency
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: in all things. So you become a description of a
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: blessed man, makarios, having everything, not missing anything, not wanting,
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: are we together, the capacity to always rise to the occasion,
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: never disappointing. In the name of Jesus Christ. We said
• 9:48
  Speaker 1: a few things about the blessing, a few more things,
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: how that when we talk about the blessing, we do
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: not mean material things. Remember that blessings are are a
• 10:00
  Speaker 1: business of the spirit it has an expression a material
• 10:04
  Speaker 1: expression and that you'll be learning tonight but that essentially
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: there are certain conditions that must be met for an
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: individual to be called blessed. Now, we've carelessly used the word, unfortunately,
• 10:15
  Speaker 1: in the body of Christ without having a thorough understanding.
• 10:19
  Speaker 1: And to introduce the concept of the blessing, we introduced
• 10:23
  Speaker 1: other concepts like the blessing of Abraham. Hallelujah. That leads
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: to the blessing. Then it now leads to blessings. Please
• 10:32
  Speaker 1: do not forget that concept. The blessing of Abraham. And
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: we said in as much as the blessing of Abraham,
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: when you read it, it was to Abraham and to
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: his seed. Genesis 12, 1 to 3. Genesis 17 from
• 10:49
  Speaker 1: verse 1 down to 6 and 7 and so on
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: and so forth. When you read all of these expressions,
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: it talks about Abraham and his seed. And until Paul came,
• 10:59
  Speaker 1: no one knew that that seed was Jesus. Now, don't forget,
• 11:03
  Speaker 1: it doesn't mean Isaac did not benefit from it. Isaac
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: benefited from the blessing. Are we together? But that Paul
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: was saying beyond what happened genealogically, it was a spiritual
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: connotation that that seed was beyond Isaac. Even Ishmael benefited
• 11:20
  Speaker 1: from the blessing. Oh yeah, he did. Absolutely. Absolutely. One
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: time Hagar was crying when she went to the desert.
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: And she was crying. And the young baby was crying.
• 11:33
  Speaker 1: But the Bible never said he heard the voice of Hagar.
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: It said he heard the voice of the young lad.
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: How does he hear the voice of the boy and
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: not hear the voice of the mother? Because there was
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: something connected to the boy. Are we together now? The
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: blessing also spells preservation. And being that that child was crying,
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: God was obligated to hear the child. Because he came
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: from a man who he was in covenant with. Are
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: we together now? Praise the name of the Lord. And
• 12:00
  Speaker 1: so we looked at the blessing of Abraham. And in summary,
• 12:03
  Speaker 1: we said the blessing of Abraham is not things, not land. No,
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: not at all. The blessing of Abraham from scripture is
• 12:11
  Speaker 1: justification by faith. So when the Bible says we have
• 12:14
  Speaker 1: the blessing of Abraham, it means we follow the path
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: of Abraham. Are we together? Where we believe God and
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: then it is credited unto us for righteousness. Galatians 3,
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: 13 to 16. Christ has redeemed us from the curse
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: of the law. Being made a curse for us, for
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree.
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: That the blessing of Abraham, justification by faith, might come
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: upon all Gentiles and to the end that we might
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: receive the blessing. And I told you the blessing there
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: is beyond an anointing. The blessing in the New Testament
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: is beyond a pronouncement, is beyond a proclamation. So it
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: worked this way in the Old Testament because they did
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: not have the possibility of receiving the indwelling of the
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. And you know why? Because Christ was not
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: yet revealed and glorified. Are we together now? He was
• 13:09
  Speaker 1: the only one who would come as a new and
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: living way. And since he was not yet revealed and glorified,
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: they couldn't have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. You
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: could come and live. So what happened was that the
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: priest or the prophet will make declarations. And the Holy Spirit,
• 13:24
  Speaker 1: in honor to that, he will deposit an anointing grace
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: that begins to produce possibilities in the lives of those
• 13:31
  Speaker 1: who receive it. Now, that still works, but this time around,
• 13:35
  Speaker 1: it is the Holy Spirit himself who comes together with
• 13:39
  Speaker 1: all the resources that pertain to life and godliness. And
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: he becomes resident, domiciled in the believer. Are we together?
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: So when you say you are blessed, you have to
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: be in Christ. No one who is outside of Christ
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: is blessed. Doesn't mean they are not prosperous. You can
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: have money. You can have cars. But the blessing is
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: a business of those who are in Christ. It's impossible
• 14:04
  Speaker 1: to say, I am blessed. Now, we can use it English.
• 14:07
  Speaker 1: Don't go harassing an unbeliever. People just say, I'm blessed.
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: But this is Bible knowledge. Are we together? It's very
• 14:14
  Speaker 1: inaccurate for anyone to say I am blessed outside of Christ.
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: There's no possibility for that based on Bible definition. Because
• 14:21
  Speaker 1: there are certain aspects of the blessing that only the
• 14:24
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit can give. Like you'll be learning. When he
• 14:27
  Speaker 1: says joy, it is of the Holy Ghost. Are we
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: together now? Yes. So, this is very important for us
• 14:35
  Speaker 1: to know. So yesterday, we agreed at the end of
• 14:38
  Speaker 1: our discussion that everyone who is in Christ is blessed.
• 14:42
  Speaker 1: Regardless what is visible or not visible. That you don't
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: have to depend on a job, finances, good things happening.
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: It's a settled fact if you have received the blessing
• 14:53
  Speaker 1: of Abraham. Justification by faith that's led to you receiving
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: the fullness of the Spirit, the blessing. Then you are blessed.
• 15:02
  Speaker 1: Again say, I'm blessed. We took it further this morning
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: to show the purpose of the blessing. And we established
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: a two-fold purpose of the blessing. Number one, we said
• 15:13
  Speaker 1: that the blessing as we know comes upon the believer,
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit and the anointing and every resource that
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: comes with him. Number one, to empower the believer to
• 15:25
  Speaker 1: live a life of victory, of dominion and fulfillment while
• 15:29
  Speaker 1: on earth. Never forget this. This is the first assignment
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: of the blessing. It empowers you. He empowers you really
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: with his presence, his power, and every other thing you'll
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: be learning tonight to live a life of dominion, a
• 15:43
  Speaker 1: life of victory, and a life of fulfillment. Number two,
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: the blessing is in the life of the believer to
• 15:49
  Speaker 1: empower the believer, listen, to fulfill the mandate of being
• 15:54
  Speaker 1: a global blessing.
• 15:55
  Speaker 2: To be an extension of God's salvation, God's healing.
• 15:59
  Speaker 1: Are we together? Hope, life, and so on and so forth.

  Speaker 1: And we considered a few things this morning. The importance
• 16:06
  Speaker 1: of producing results. That your results bring glory to the
• 16:09
  Speaker 1: name of the Lord. Galatians 1.24. That God can be
• 16:13
  Speaker 1: glorified in a man. John 17.1. The prayer of Jesus.
• 16:17
  Speaker 1: Jesus said, glorify now thy son that thy son may
• 16:20
  Speaker 1: bring glory unto you. John 15.8. Herein is our Father glorified.
• 16:26
  Speaker 1: When you bear much fruit, so shall you be my disciples.
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: John 15, 16. You have not chosen me. I have
• 16:32
  Speaker 1: chosen you and ordained you that you should go and
• 16:35
  Speaker 1: bring forth fruit and that your fruit will remain. Are
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: we together? Yes. Ephesians 3, 10. To the end, to
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: the intent that now unto principalities and powers might be
• 16:46
  Speaker 1: made known by the church, the ecclesia, the manifold, multilayered
• 16:51
  Speaker 1: wisdom of God. He takes glory I will discuss very
• 16:56
  Speaker 1: briefly on the concept of namesake. That when you buy products,
• 17:01
  Speaker 1: if the products don't deliver, the logo behind that product
• 17:04
  Speaker 1: has their reputation to suffer. The word image is the
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: word karagma that God stamped you like Louis Vuitton will
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: stamp their bag or Gucci or any of your designers, Ferrari,
• 17:15
  Speaker 1: whatever it is. And if something is wrong with that product,
• 17:18
  Speaker 1: inconsistent with your reputation, they can literally recall it And
• 17:24
  Speaker 1: refund the person or give the person a new product.
• 17:26
  Speaker 1: Not because they love the person. They are conscious of
• 17:29
  Speaker 1: their reputation. Except that for God, he's not a selfish God.
• 17:33
  Speaker 1: First he's love, but then he also has his name
• 17:36
  Speaker 1: to protect. His name is not only great, his name
• 17:39
  Speaker 1: is excellent. Oh Lord our God, how excellent. Are we together?

  Speaker 1: means two things. Number one, I am a blessing is

  Speaker 1: a declaration of your oneness with the blessing. When you say,

  Speaker 1: I am a blessing, it's a declaration of your connection,
• 18:15
  Speaker 1: your eternal connection to the blessing. Because it is of
• 18:18
  Speaker 1: his fullness we receive. Are we together? It's out of
• 18:22
  Speaker 1: the rich deposit of the Holy Spirit as the blessing
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: that we draw blessing. And then we're able to deliver
• 18:28
  Speaker 1: to the nations. And then number two, I am a
• 18:31
  Speaker 1: blessing also means I am a giver. When we say
• 18:35
  Speaker 1: I am a blessing, it does not mean I have.
• 18:38
  Speaker 2: It means I give. But in truth, you cannot give
• 18:42
  Speaker 2: until you.
• 18:45
  Speaker 1: Have. Are we learning? So we'll go straight to tonight's teaching.
• 18:49
  Speaker 1: And then we'll have the time to pray. Thank you, Jesus.

  Speaker 1: I pray that after this weekend you become a better,
• 18:57
  Speaker 1: more confident, more effective Christian. Learning the ways of God

  Speaker 1: is very powerful because it becomes the anchor.

  Speaker 2: You become unshakable, unbendable, immovable.

  Speaker 1: Are we together? It's the reason why it's important to
• 19:11
  Speaker 1: learn the word of God. It cultures your mind. It
• 19:14
  Speaker 1: shifts your understanding. Understanding is a real miracle. Real miracle.
• 19:20
  Speaker 1: Real miracle. He opened their eyes that they may understand
• 19:23
  Speaker 1: the scriptures. Paul prayed that the eyes of our understanding,
• 19:27
  Speaker 1: that it be flooded with light. You can doubt what
• 19:31
  Speaker 1: you hear, but you can't doubt what you see. Hallelujah.

  Speaker 1: Praise the name of the Lord. Amen. The more I
• 19:41
  Speaker 1: learn the word of God, the more I grow, the
• 19:44
  Speaker 1: more praise springs forth even onto Thanksgiving. Honestly, when you
• 19:49
  Speaker 1: see the majesty, the truths that are captured in his word,
• 19:53
  Speaker 1: you get to glorify God. Your worship will not impact
• 19:58
  Speaker 1: you so much if it's not guided by revelation. You'll
• 20:01
  Speaker 1: just be doing rituals. But when you know, as you worship,
• 20:05
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit will literally come Use scriptures that paint
• 20:09
  Speaker 1: the might, the wisdom, the majesty of this God. And
• 20:12
  Speaker 1: then you are compelled to worship him in a way
• 20:15
  Speaker 1: that is very powerful. Amen. To Jesus be all the glory.

  Speaker 1: Pray in the spirit for one minute, activating the blessing.

  Speaker 1: verse 3. We consider that Ephesians chapter 1 and verse 3.

  Speaker 1: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 1: Who had blessed us. You see the word blessed. You

  Speaker 1: see the word blessings. You see the word blessed. You

  Speaker 1: see the word blessings. He had blessed us with all
• 22:20
  Speaker 1: spiritual blessings. But that they reside in heavenly places. And
• 22:26
  Speaker 1: they reside in Christ. Are we together? So when you
• 22:30

  Speaker 1: become a stronghold in the minds of people. Are we together?

  Speaker 1: Are we together? So when you sample people who are

  Speaker 1: without Christ, you are seeing a product that is very

  Speaker 1: far from God's design. People struggling with anger, struggling with addiction,

  Speaker 1: family patterns. So when the Holy Spirit calls you, you

  Speaker 1: cannot be a blessing carrying those luggages. So he begins

  Speaker 1: an inner walk of transformation. The hurt, the trauma, the wounds.

  Speaker 1: destroyed you because you see wounded people wound others. Psychology

  Speaker 1: teaches that. I can tell you this is where psychology

  Speaker 1: strange way, they only find peace when they see pain

  Speaker 1: to take responsibility over their lives. Why blame people? I mean,

  Speaker 1: everyone has gone through all their hellfire and came out.

  Speaker 1: And I focused on physical healing. That's right. That's oppression.

  Speaker 1: But as I grew in ministry, I discovered that emotional
• 26:57
  Speaker 1: wounds are real wounds. They can be so deep. Many

  Speaker 1: people can carry the Bible and cover their wounds for years.

  Speaker 1: Are we together? But God does not want the wound covered.

  Speaker 1: He wants it healed. And only the Holy Ghost, he's

  Speaker 1: literally the custodian of that balm in Gilead. He begins

  Speaker 1: to do a work on forgiveness, flesh that leads to

  Speaker 1: addictions and all kinds of things. He now does that work.

  Speaker 1: Who is learning already? I'll tell you this. Look up, please.

  Speaker 1: Do you know whether... it is a politician or a businessman.

  Speaker 1: There are certain kind of men we are looking for

  Speaker 1: on earth to be friends, to be spouses, to be

  Speaker 1: the description of a person. It is a personality you

  Speaker 1: are looking for and only the Holy Ghost can produce

  Speaker 1: Time cannot put it there. Who is learning? No, education

  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit manifests the blessings in believers by number one.
