- 1:24[SPEAKER_19]: that he called upon Governor Healy, who is a Democrat and the first LGBTQ person to hold that position.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_19]: I don't see how calling for a president from to step in would have any positive impact considering who the actual person is who has the power to pardon Lindsay Clancy.

- 4:56[SPEAKER_05]: The Hotline with Jeff Graham, that's me, I'm here, we're back from the holiday weekend, hope you had a great Labor Day weekend, whatever you did.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_05]: get those white shoes off.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you can get the white belt off.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_05]: That's over.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_05]: And get ready for fall.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_05]: Get ready for fall.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_05]: It's come.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_05]: Well, the fall is not here technically, but I guess it's sort of here, isn't it?
- 5:17[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_05]: It's all right.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_05]: Nice day out there, though.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_05]: Temperature up in the 70s and all of that jazz.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_05]: So a lot of things going on.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_05]: Unfortunately, some bad news,
- 5:30[SPEAKER_05]: when he was hit by a vehicle on route 126 that's a road between like out of state street to Carthage and I happened like 430 this morning and state police have not released his name yet but it's oh boy that's a tragedy but he was in the road in dark clothes what do you do when what do you do when yeah I don't know now this story I saw this on the lucky seven here at noon um
- 5:58[SPEAKER_05]: The city is finally accepting sealed bids, not open bids, sealed bids, to lease the golf course for next year.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_05]: And we haven't seen the RFP or what it is with kind of late in the season for that, but and it does say that you need state approval because it's parkland.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_05]: So apparently they spent a couple of thousand dollars with the Harris Beach to find that out.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_05]: So, I don't know.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_05]: Who's going to, if somebody comes in says, I'll give you a $10 and they get it?
- 6:34[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, the predicate of this is that the city will relieve itself of having to use public employees to manage the golf course, the lawns, the greens, all of that.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_05]: Get rid of the union employees you're paying and somebody else will have to pay for that.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_05]: That's what they're hoping for.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_05]: They don't care what they get in a franchise fee.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, but most people who play up there say that course is in great shape and they really love it You know, I don't know how much business I've just doing because I was there for ID for lunch, and I didn't see anybody So the park may be doing well.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_05]: We don't know because In the real world you have like quick book accounts and you release the figures and reports like they do on hydro power and sales decks But you never see anything on the recreation functions
- 7:31[SPEAKER_15]: You say, well, it's none of your business.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_15]: That's an executive session.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_15]: No, it is.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_05]: So how can the public weigh in on whether this, whatever deal like God is a good deal?
- 7:43[SPEAKER_05]: And it'll be an inside deal.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_05]: There's no doubt about that.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_05]: So we're going to see, but it's awfully late in the year.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_05]: We don't know.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, what have they been setting up leagues for next year and setting up tournaments?
- 7:58[SPEAKER_05]: Because the council officially, as I sit here in front of God and country, is on record saying they're closing in.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_05]: Actually, I don't believe that for a minute.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't want that for a minute.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_05]: He bit open.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_05]: He bit open.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_05]: And what you got to look at is the individual, let's say somebody bids it, says, oh, I'll run the whole thing and I'll pay all the
- 8:29[SPEAKER_05]: The carts, I guess, the carts aren't very good shape.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_05]: City crews are grabbing the gas carts and using them for weed wagging, but the golfers, I've talked to a for some the other day.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_05]: Said the course was beautiful, but the carts were like, yeah.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_05]: So whoever gets in there is going to have to lease new carts.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_05]: It's too expensive to buy them all.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_05]: So I mean, there's a lot of things to consider here that Council just doesn't seem to look at, because I don't know, there's not a lot of business acumen there or whatever it is, and they're nice people, but it just doesn't seem like things are thought through.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_05]: Basically, cities run by a career federal government bureaucrat, who's used to the rules and regulations, and all of that.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_05]: But ultimately everything's paid for and that kind of stuff.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know what's going to happen here.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what's going to happen.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_05]: Still waiting for that beer order and coming up.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_05]: Talk to the new company in Syracuse.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_05]: It took over for Eagle beverage.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_05]: And I had another on-premise consumer.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_05]: I won't say who because I don't want to get anybody in trouble.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I wrote a letter to a hoax office over the weekend complaining about it, but and I may get in trouble for doing that, but some other retailer called me and said, well, we can't even get a hold of anybody and don't know who to call and we're just not going to carry their products anymore, the new company, you know.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_05]: But ultimately, they don't care because they're selling to the stores also, and if you have to get it at the stores, they don't care.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_05]: They're still selling it.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_05]: originally we had them scheduled for the sixteenth but it's people say tomorrow i don't care i'm glad to have many time now you know for the weekend this is a a buried lead but i'll let me unburied the lead for you there's a big labor day parade up in mcina every year big big this year the grand marshal marshal was our friend mayeronric dogle and the democrats are always in it because the unions invite them to walk in it
- 10:48[SPEAKER_05]: Republicans unless they're sitting off a soldier's usually don't get in it.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_05]: So Mr. Jen to being was in it, but Mr. Constantino was invited by the United Steel Workers local to march with them, which was great.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_05]: I guess he was well received by the crowd and waived and did all the stuff he's supposed to do.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_05]: And boy, the unions, not the local chapters of the unions with the international, they were mad as wet hands over that.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_05]: There was screaming and yelling on the sidelines and, oh boy, I wasn't good, but he was any as well-received and they don't, that's the way it should be.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_05]: It's a parade, my God.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_05]: And apparently, Constantinospent tonight at the Razz and was well-received by the Indians.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_05]: So anyway, it was, um,
- 11:48[SPEAKER_05]: Interesting politics up there, but...
- 11:51[SPEAKER_05]: The typical North Country lead for that parade is, under sunny skies, the village of Messina came out by the hundreds to view an annual Labor Day parade.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_05]: Many unions were represented and a couple of political figures were in the parade too.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_05]: And that's how that's not how you're right to lead.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_05]: The lead is, we mag a Republican Anthony Constantino was invited to participate in the Labor Day Parade in Messina, normally an event for Democrats.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how Ryan McDougall got him in was it Ryan McDougall or Russ Fennelio got him in there.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know which one I don't know which one Good afternoon, you're on the air Oh, Mary got Mr. Jen to being coming in Yeah, it's either tomorrow or next week.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_07]: We're not quite sure but one of the two Can you ask him about the commercial as just ran on I think channel 50 did you see it?
- 12:42[SPEAKER_07]: No tell me about it of the bullgarity he used
- 12:48[SPEAKER_07]: can't Democrats do a commercial with a over-language a Chuck Schumer used the F bomb agenda being used the word that had to be edited out of the commercial.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_07]: What does it with these people?
- 13:02[SPEAKER_05]: I take it you can't say it on the air.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_05]: Is it an F was it an F bomb?
- 13:09[SPEAKER_07]: Only outrageous commercial by this gentleman.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_07]: I don't think a farmer is going to be able to get anything done in that kind of position.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_07]: You got to know powerful people, Mary.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_07]: You know that.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_07]: You have to know people.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_07]: This guy is going to be a disaster if he's put it in there in my opinion.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_07]: He voted for Kamala Harris.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, that doesn't make a difference.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_07]: It doesn't.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_07]: I think your boss voted for Kamala Harris.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_07]: Is that correct, Mary?
- 13:36[SPEAKER_05]: I believe that's true.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_07]: Well, people, this woman can't, once she's not qualified to be in the White House.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_07]: My job.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_07]: You bailed all on the ironwork caucuses, the first primary.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_07]: Years ago.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_07]: Well, listen, we had a- Everybody forget about that.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_07]: She couldn't have a capital meeting, because nobody showed up.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_07]: They could stay in the woman.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_07]: the ticket next to an election and everybody, she'll get buried.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_07]: Stop with the vulgar languages, stuff that wasn't allowed years ago.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_07]: We never said vulgar languages were I was the young.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_05]: Now was this an F5 video using F5 or what?
- 14:28[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, the BS were math.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_07]: You can't run that on a public and TV.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_07]: I see it on channel 50, I see it on a cup, it's totally ridiculous.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_07]: Democrats love to use longer language.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_07]: What is that supposed to prove?
- 14:49[SPEAKER_05]: I guess it's edgy and the people like that kind of stuff now, younger people.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_07]: I don't like it a lot, I think it's ridiculous, you know, because they're going to say, what are they going to say, oh, Mr. Trump does, but Mr. Trump's a different animal.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_07]: He's trying to help us all with Canada's trying to screw us in the box of works and everybody in this country Sticking up for Canada to get that one out.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_07]: I know that walk the wait for the trade deal.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_07]: Not the United States All right With them as soon as three years a trade would fight up when it mm Okay, I think you're stuck up for Canada's tours.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_05]: I'm right mayor Well, I would like to see the matter settled, but I don't know the menu
- 15:37[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know about that, but they don't allow them.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_07]: All of our products in their country.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_07]: And the guy that's ruining it, Mr. Carney stealing with China.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_05]: No, yeah.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_07]: Give me a break.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_07]: And we pay for most of the defense in Canada, I believe.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_05]: I believe so, yeah.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_05]: So what about this city of cease, accepting sealed proposals for the Gulf club for next year?
- 16:03[SPEAKER_05]: We think of that whole exercise.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_07]: What does that mean to public doesn't have to know about it is that what that's about Well, I believe that's the case they won't know who's bidding on it, but they want it.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_05]: They think that somebody's going to come along give them money and take over operation and the expenses of the of the golf club, and that way they won't have to use public employees up there with all those benefits and legacy costs.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_05]: That's the that's what council's up to.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I I say continue to run it and find ways to monetize it better don't lease out the golf club for six dollars a year try doing that council.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's a good course.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_07]: We used to play a year.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_07]: It's a good one.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_07]: Brother was a member for quite a lot of quite a few years.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you know, the city's not doing that bad.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_05]: I look at the budget agenda.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_05]: You know, they never hesitate to
- 16:58[SPEAKER_05]: higher, more people, but hydrorevener is kind of soft, but sales tax revenue is quite strong.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_05]: So they're bringing in more than they're taking out, and they tell you otherwise.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_05]: And they keep saying, well, we're really strapped for cash or something, but that's not true.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_05]: They just keep spending at an accelerated level.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_05]: And now they're going to redo Richard's drive.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_05]: Now I like people over there, but that's going to be a seven-figure project.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_07]: Everything's a secret pair.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_07]: You know that.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_05]: You know?
- 17:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_05]: It's like they fired us.
- 17:35[UNKNOWN]: DPW super tender.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_07]: That's something to do with the speed bumps.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_07]: I'm sorry Mr. Wagner.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_07]: That's what I had to do with, I know what you know.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_07]: Everybody knows it.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_07]: Why not come on?
- 17:46[SPEAKER_07]: Tell us.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_07]: Mm-hmm.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_07]: Why you really remove the man?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_05]: I haven't.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_07]: Ruby wanted to get rid of the garbage pick up.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_07]: Way off base.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_07]: I want the guards pick up.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_07]: They do a good job.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_07]: Certain things people want.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't know the things.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_07]: If you were trying to save money, cut the garbage pick up is not one of the answers.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I cut the things you can cut, but nobody's going to do it for some reason.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I got you on that.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't think anybody ever came clean on that thing.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_05]: And I haven't seen someone at that level.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_07]: you know get the axe and i don't can't remember it really um... not says carlama line yes number you were behind that remember you want to carlama yeah yeah i'm not sure for a long time ago i don't remember i do i take Ryan for just a pack of but the only problem with that you talk about uh uh
- 18:53[SPEAKER_07]: Gold and Perse you deal he got on the way out the door.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_07]: We had the papers totally full sorry Torrey for on the job.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_05]: We had the papers moving his fences you made out like a band of that well trust me You're gonna be paying for this guy when they send him down the road too So who's that there current manager?
- 19:13[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure we'll get six months pay if they get rid of him
- 19:17[SPEAKER_07]: Well, he could do the job.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_07]: Nobody's done 90's very high educated.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_07]: He knows what the hell he's doing.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_07]: But my problem with the city manager is living in Shimou.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_07]: I mentioned that a few times.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_07]: I don't think a city manager should live outside the city, but nobody seems to get a crap about it.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_07]: You know, all these departments has the police chief.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_07]: She lives in Anderson Harbor.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_07]: You know, the fire chief, I think, will fire drill.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_07]: Totally outrageous.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_07]: She wonder why nobody's paying taxes.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_07]: You got to have good people living outside water dump some major problem Exactly, non-profits non-profits 40% of the property Nobody seems to look at it You want you drive to have done the square of a subday I think it was mayor For your cannon off-down or not hate anybody but a homeless guy went up back back at half the squares not profits in vacant
- 20:15[SPEAKER_07]: Storefronts.
- 20:16[UNKNOWN]: That's the problem.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_07]: This is not the square.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_07]: I grew up where the other people grew up or they were coming from.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_07]: If you grew up in the 60, you couldn't get down the square with a sewer at that time.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_07]: You had business, you had huge stores.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_07]: You had a drug store.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_07]: You had a whole town down there.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_07]: You had movie theaters.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_07]: You had rumors.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_07]: You had the Burgess Center.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_07]: Maggie, what's going on?
- 20:45[SPEAKER_07]: Anybody remember that, Mayor?
- 20:47[SPEAKER_07]: Two grocery stores across the road for me, Jother.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I know.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_07]: They did store brunch on the square.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_07]: You're going to see homeless people on the square with that patch.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_05]: Wasn't there a snake?
- 21:05[SPEAKER_07]: Tell me I'm more on it, because I'm not wrong.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_05]: Wasn't there a snake?
- 21:14[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_05]: All the paddock club, yeah.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_07]: Then they're for 20 years.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_05]: 27.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_07]: Mr. Johnson doesn't want to say why?
- 21:25[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_07]: I got an idea what it is for I'm not going to say on this show.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_05]: Why not?
- 21:34[SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to get you an outwater on this show.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Mayor, because it's something you can't comment on.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_05]: All right, well, thank you.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you so much.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_05]: Right now.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, brought up the paddock club closing.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_05]: That, well, late, in more recent years, it was kind of a nightclub.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_05]: Originally, it was just a small tavern.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_05]: Back when me, a friend of mine, we opened it back in 99.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_05]: And it was fun, renovating that particular storefront,
- 22:16[SPEAKER_05]: in the end it was tough because you're not on the street so people can't see you and a lot of people don't want to park and walk in you didn't have the ambient traffic so uh... in my partner sold it to uh... Jimmy Peterson her own fast-loop and he ran it for a couple three years and he sold it to mr. Dalton who made it into a bigger place he put in restrooms he put in
- 22:41[SPEAKER_05]: you know dance floor and kitchen facilities and really did a nice job and they hosted a lot of events down there over the years chamber of ants Christmas parties for Bernacar political events bridal things blah blah blah all over the map and I remember the last time I was down there I think was a couple years ago when they had that pride event and there were balloon you know the
- 23:13[SPEAKER_05]: nightclub and there were a lot of issues and then we're kind of glossed over by the people across the street but and i think that's what irked mr. johnson and i can't have this stuff going on here i could be on the hook for it somebody gets hurt in my building thrown through a plate glass window they could sue me and i i think that's candidly what happened um...
- 23:36[SPEAKER_05]: There's apparently, according to the grapevine, he wanted them to close at 11 at night, they refused.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_05]: So, what I'm told, whatever, don't, I don't think he's gonna put more another bar in there.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you know what I would do, because it's legal now.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_05]: I'd get some of those video slot machines, like up at the mall, and I just set them up in there.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_05]: in one of the storefronts you don't dress it up a little make it nice offer refreshment you could you could keep that old original paddock club open as but you don't want you can't combine the two activities but i think that'd be a good money maker and people would love it downtown this people love those things that would be my suggestion yeah you can always get another gift shop or candy shop or something like that and if somebody wants to that's fine but uh...
- 24:35[SPEAKER_05]: I would think that'd be a good idea.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_05]: Just a thought on my part.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, 755-1240, the phone number will put you on the air and be back with more in a moment.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_04]: Blake Jindobine says he's a simple farmer, but in reality, he's a slippery Democrat politician.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_04]: He voted for Kamala Harris and hit it.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_04]: Radical anti-Trump donors from Hollywood and New York City are funding his campaign with millions.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yet, he expects us to believe he'll work with President Trump, Kathy Hopel's already poured tens of thousands
- 25:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yet now he claims he'll stand up to her, Jen to be in a tax local workers, calling them lazy and drunk.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_04]: He even mocks local correction officers, viciously claiming they have no self work, Anthony Constantino is different.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_04]: He built his business right here in upstate New York and created a thousand good paying jobs.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_04]: He funds his own campaign with absolutely no special interest and no strings attached.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_04]: Anthony will fight corruption in both parties, cut our taxes, secure the border, defend the Second Amendment, he'll protect our farms and fork drove.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_04]: Anthony will fight for our veterans and answer to no one but you.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_04]: He's nobody's man but yours.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_21]: The kids are back to school, football season is here, and that means your family schedule just got busy.

- 26:46[SPEAKER_17]: Some businesses invest in their online presence.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_17]: Others apparently declare war on their customers.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_23]: At BadWebSight.com, we believe websites should take as long as possible to load.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_23]: We are convinced that our customers enjoy searching for contact information like it's a treasure hunt.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_23]: We reject modern mobile optimization in favor of microscopic buttons and sideways scrolling.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_23]: We maintain that every homepage deserves at least six competing fonts, cheesy music, distracting graphics, and one blurry stock photo of executives pointing at nothing.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_23]: We proudly support outdated plugins, broken links, and layouts that make your head spin.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_23]: We believe customers should have to work hard for basic information.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_23]: And finally, we suspect your competitors sincerely appreciate all of this.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_17]: Your website should build trust.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_17]: Not test patients.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_17]: Let Confluent help you create an online presence customers actually want to use.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_17]: Go online at Confluent.co to get started today.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_17]: That's Confluent.co.

- 27:53[SPEAKER_10]: Get into it and you'll be amazed what you get out of it.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_05]: You'll be amazed.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_05]: There you go.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, I know I'm Friday.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_05]: The Lindsey Clancy verdict came down.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_05]: It was a mistrial, 11 to 1, I guess, in favor of not guilty, but a quiddle in terms of mental deficiency, which would put her on a tractor.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_05]: be in state mental hospitals for, so she was better whatever, but I, you know, what's kind of weird with that.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_05]: Well, first of all, you had one juror who wanted to be a big hero.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, she's a friar, you know what I'm, you know, come on, man.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_05]: If the other 11 say that, maybe maybe that means something.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_05]: They're not stupid people.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_05]: And, but now we'll have to try it again and go through it all again.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_05]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_03]: So the anger man, he's right on the money about what he said, the city is what he used to be back in the sixties, and number two, the tax that didn't need to be raised 33% of the tax payer here in the city, because the infrastructure in this town is terrible.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_03]: Our city manager just got a $30,000 pay raise here recently was gonna do a way with these block parties but we don't need when they raise the taxes all together.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_03]: 33% over three years period and yeah Well I don't think crime in the city is terrible and all these city heads if they wanted to work for the city that should have to live in the city
- 29:42[SPEAKER_03]: And that's the way I feel about it is the taxpayer in the city and a property owner.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not a happy property owner taxpayer.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_05]: Well you understand they don't care.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: I understand they don't care.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_03]: If they don't care, they should be fired.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like our mayor for one, she ran on the fact that she's going to be pissed for you.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_03]: Sponsile, she's not pissed for you.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_03]: He's possible in the city manager and the council.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_03]: They said when they ran, they're going to be pissed for you.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_05]: three or four years ago and they have them and they raise the taxes like not a wall and that's where they have the other house and the city's got to sell on because the people in the city can't live afford to live here anymore mm-hmm okay thank you amen brother but honestly they don't you know over the weekend somebody sent a lot was a good friend Pete Monaco sent me a picture of another pile of garbage a sofa furnishings garbage bag on
- 30:40[SPEAKER_05]: And I know somebody out there said, well, maybe there was an eviction.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_05]: Well, maybe there was.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_05]: But you don't do that.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_05]: You're the property owner, whatever.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_05]: And then the person, well, what do you expect?
- 30:50[SPEAKER_05]: Those people to come in from out of town on a weekend?
- 30:52[SPEAKER_05]: No, I do.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_05]: I do expect that the police are going to call public works and say there's an issue over there and they're going to, you know, the superintendent or whoever's going to be on it.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_05]: I do expect that as a taxpayer.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_05]: I know when Miss Corvo was a city manager, you know, those guys, you know, she would get right on those things.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_05]: Now, so it's, you know, people come and say, well, you shouldn't expect them to do anything.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I do expect them to do it.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_05]: Now, we had the person who was beat up on Jefferson Street.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_05]: Albert Scott, I think his name is.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_05]: He's still at down in Syracuse at the hospital.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_05]: I think he's at upstate, send him a card, he's on.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_05]: He had a stuffing beat out of him.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_05]: His head beats virally.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_05]: He is awake now from the coma.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_05]: They're working on trying to get him so he can walk and get the feeding tube out and all of that.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_05]: And hopefully he'll regain enough mental acumen to say something if the police are interested in listening.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_05]: But that whole thing's been so to drop.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_05]: It says, that's a one day story.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_05]: That's a person who came out of a convenience store and was followed for a block and had the, that is head beaten in.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_05]: That's not just the perception of crime, man, that is crime.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_05]: Then he was, police report of somebody with an AR rifle on mechanics three the other day.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_05]: No, granted, they're not illegal, but what would the point of that be?
- 32:33[SPEAKER_09]: There is more.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_05]: So, when I hear these people say, well, you can't expect those people to come into town and deal with this.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_05]: Well, ideally, I expect an 11-town and care about it.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_05]: But if they're not going to live in town, at least I'd get their butt in town and do something.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I heard there's a department head getting into the restaurant business.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, my God.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_05]: Talk about a distraction.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_05]: well we'll see 755 1240 are phone numbers if there's anything on news drunk you get about that oh there's a whole list on the delinquent property taxes when I look at now a lot of them will get paid before the deadline but there's a media outlet that owes hundreds of thousands I mean it's just bad it's just bad
- 33:33[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, there was an article in the, there was a New York Post, so a lot of people will dismiss it, but it was a study put together by AARP, you know what that is, association of retired people.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, not a, you know, crazy organization.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_05]: And they looked at municipalities all around the country for like jobs and housing costs, environmental issues, and a variety of several dozen factors.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_05]: And in the list of the top 10,
- 34:01[SPEAKER_05]: Hades of America, I guess, blank holes of America was the town of Lee Ray, or Lorraine.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_05]: It's the largest municipality in Jefferson County, almost 26,000 people.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_05]: Now it's not really a community, it's more a line on a map.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_05]: But still, it made that top 10.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_05]: That's not flattering.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_05]: Now, that won't be covered in your local media.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_05]: Don't worry about it.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_05]: You can see the story, you can link it from news junkie, or you can, um,
- 34:31[SPEAKER_05]: Just go to the New York Post website or the AARP.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, they came up with not Jeff Graham's not making this up because he doesn't like towns or anything like that.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_05]: It's kind of sad.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_05]: One of the ten worst places not in New York to live, but in America to live.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_05]: And I was talking to somebody who lives out there, they said the water's terrible.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_05]: Don't know what to make of it.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_05]: don't know what to make it.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, the Bravo Fest is this weekend over at the Fairgrounds Arena.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_05]: You don't want to miss it.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's Friday and Saturday.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_05]: Meet Miss Italia and all of that stuff.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_05]: Um, top story on news junkie is the two top story.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_05]: You're city of water town looking to least golf course.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_05]: I thought they already made that decision.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_05]: And town of Lorraine named one of America's worst places to live.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_05]: And, of course, the other story on top of the list is the gentleman who was killed on one twenty-six.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_05]: And that's sad.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_05]: Now what's the story, say it was on Channel 7, the North Country's window on the world, the finest, says your water town currently runs the golf course, but look for that to be someone else next to you.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_05]: And we don't know that.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_05]: The city has put out what's called a request for proposal, which essentially means someone can offer a price to lease the golf course, and we see the RFP and the city can accept the best one or reject them all.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_05]: Right now, water town, they say they lose money on the golf course, not to stop that negative no-manclature.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_05]: Got to stop that.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_05]: It's something that's provided as part of a panoply of service.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_05]: You could say we lose money on the fire department.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_05]: You could say we lose money having a police department.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_05]: You could say that about anything.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_05]: Now, obviously, you want to maximize or monetization of the golf course, but it gets so sick of hearing these people.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_07]: But in the third one, well, they're losing money.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_07]: So we got to do this.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_05]: Most of the people who say that were losing money employing now, most of them.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_05]: If someone comes in and runs at the city expects the person or group to bring in its own equipment to operate the course, including golf carts, however, the city could also rent the carts it has and would be part of the negotiations, good luck, good luck.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_05]: October 13th, and I'll be open that day at 11 a.m. City wants someone with experience running a golf course of similar size.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_05]: And it also says if the city accepts a bid it will require approval from New York State, that approval is the New York State legislature.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, don't think that's going to be easy.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_05]: They might actually look at the particulars.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_05]: You know, you've got to want to see financials.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_05]: And our city is city council really capable of analyzing that.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll see what happens.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_05]: But that's topping the Channel 7 news on news junkie.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_05]: So not me making it up.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just reading it as is.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_05]: Let's do a break and we'll be back with more in a moment.

- 42:02[SPEAKER_05]: And you know, the guy who's running the golf course now, he used to be a banker, Jeff Fallon.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_05]: I'd be interested in his opinion as a golfer.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_05]: And you know, another guy I'd have is, I can't, I don't like to mention him, but the
- 42:21[SPEAKER_05]: The evil developer, not London, the other one, and I think he's pretty smart on fiscal issues.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_05]: It's see through the whatever in any kind of application.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_05]: So, I don't know.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_05]: But I mean, if you walked in there and I got 75 golf cards of my own, I've got a green, I've got a lawnmower that cuts greens and several other lawnmowers.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_05]: and people to run them who aren't public employees and i know how to run a restaurant and would be able to get a license and all of that and i'll give you a dollar for all of that to allow me to operate there and i'll supply it well i suppose the city would say oh yeah it's great that's great we get rid of the line out of the budget we get a dollar yeah well let's i don't know about that you know where is that person
- 43:16[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, if I'd want to like a $300 million megaboll jackpot or something, I might just go in and do it just to be whatever, but I don't think you're going to find that person.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_05]: 755-1240 is the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show today.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_05]: Again, I was looking through the council report and
- 43:47[SPEAKER_05]: although hydro power is important and we need more rain to get it going it is down year to year but the sales tax revenue is doing quite well now they don't like to talk about that and you never see those monthly spreadsheets that have the expenses on them show whether you're a header behind projected expenditures so the public buys into the high-purbly and hype that is spewed out all the time
- 44:17[SPEAKER_05]: day of reckoning well maybe it is but uh... and doing something about it now seven five five twelve forty the phone number and we're gonna rebuild hunting street that's right it'll be up and easier path to jeans beans i guess the water line over there's bad so we don't re-do the whole street and richards drive
- 44:42[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I don't think they're doing it solely because the councilman lives there, but you know, I'm sure he's happy he's getting a new street with sidewalks and curves and all it.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_05]: People love curves.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_05]: One thing I learned in office, you put some curves in front of somebody's house, even if they're just those pin-on curves, they'll love you for life.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_05]: They love curves.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not kidding.
- 45:02[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_05]: Well, let's see.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_05]: But after you're on the air.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_03]: That's the city's one that's spent $8 million going to reach a drive area.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_03]: uh... why aren't they fixing uh... he's made three years but bad for last forty years and uh... straight from the fall down into the uh... behind your uh... business over there on these main street well i hope it doesn't fall down on it but uh... i think it's holding up is the tree behind your business really yeah well also uh...
- 45:37[SPEAKER_03]: leave the trash system alone in the city.
- 45:40[UNKNOWN]: I'm having the trash system, they do a good job, and I want to let their own.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_05]: OK. OK. Hi, thank you.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I do too.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_05]: I just want to promote it better.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_05]: And all of that, you know, find ways to make it work.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_05]: They refuse collection people or nice people, and you know, we can't keep giving away market share.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, make it, you know, whatever.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_05]: Whatever, you know, make, get the trash so it's in pain and up all colourful and make them look like, I don't know, something fun or something.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_05]: Put some pizazz and anything, or market it.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_05]: Anything.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_05]: Bright colours tend to attract attention, especially yellow and red.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_05]: That's why there's so many signs with the yellow and red, like Burger King.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's not just by chance somebody said yellow and red, is that science tells us, if you follow the science, that those two colors attract attention and appeal to be.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_05]: 755, 1240, our phone number.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_05]: If you'd like to be on the air today, and I think we might have Blake Jen to be in tomorrow or next Wednesday.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_05]: We don't know for sure, but his people said he'd be here tomorrow.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_05]: It'll be an exclusive to the hotline.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_05]: He's not available for the,
- 47:02[SPEAKER_05]: uh... five o'clock show but i'm sure he'll be on that later in the fall and we look forward at some point uh... mr. constantino coming in yet the sticker mule uh... got himself in the labor day parade in macena yesterday kind of a big story if we had a friend dicker of the north country that would be a new story of the we don't have any bread dicker here no already seven five five twelve forty a phone number if you'd like to be on the air today and uh...
- 47:33[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, it's been doing a lot of work with that, trying to get that Constantine thing squared away and it worked.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_05]: He got him in that parade in Messina and got some tours of factories and stuff up in St. Lawrence County.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_05]: That's our good friend Ross.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_05]: You know, political mentor that he is, Lisbonite, all of that stuff.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_05]: in their own party, the smartest political minds in this media market.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and me, of course me, I include myself in that, because we don't have any, there are no Fred Dickers in this media market.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_05]: What else is happening here?
- 48:20[SPEAKER_05]: Well, what would you like to see in the paddock or in the arcade, to replace the paddock
- 48:33[SPEAKER_05]: more.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_05]: They already got, you see, they already got, the diner on one end, the Bartletones, forgot the name of it.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_05]: Johnny D's, that's a Johnny D. And they do a great job.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_05]: And then on the other end, you got Vito's, which is going to be reopening shortly.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yep, the guy that owns Coral Life is, well, operating it.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_05]: I think the big money and brains behind is the old Wendy's guy there.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, put a slot power in where the data car cable is.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, make a lot of money.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, thank you.
- 49:09[UNKNOWN]: Yep, hi.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I had suggested that earlier in the show.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_05]: Those slot machines, those video poker games are legal now.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_05]: And they generate pretty good money.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_05]: Put some of those in the arcade and you'd have people in there and, you know, play in a way, I don't know.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_05]: And you say, well, that's not a good way.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_05]: That's a praise on for so much.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_05]: Whether they do it there or out in the town or go to the Indian casino or go to whatever they're going to do it.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_05]: So that's that.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_05]: Get some and put them in there.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_05]: Get some of these industrial development geniuses to go buy some.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, 755, well 40 are phone number.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_05]: We can put you on the hotline, talk about all these issues.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_05]: I got three calls today, he shouldn't.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_05]: He's a nice guy, nice guy, I would be in favor of donating to, so he could have more sidewalk.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_05]: Although, you know, where he lives on that side of the street, nobody walks there, so I don't know if he needs new sidewalks, but I'd like to see him get him.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_05]: All righty, well, why don't we take our last break of the day and we'll be back with more in a moment.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_05]: You're listening to the hotline on AM, 1240.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_04]: Blake gender being says he's a simple farmer, but in reality he's a slippery Democrat politician.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_04]: He voted for Kamala Harris and hit it.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_04]: Radical anti-Trump donors from Hollywood and New York City are funding his campaign with millions.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yet he expects us to believe he'll work with President Trump, Kathy Hopel's already poured tens of thousands into his campaign.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yet now he claims he'll stand up to her, Jen to be in a tax local workers, calling them lazy and drunk.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_04]: He even mocks local correction officers, viciously claiming they have no self work, Anthony Constantino is different.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_04]: He built his business right here in upstate New York and created a thousand good-paying jobs.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_04]: He funds his own campaign with absolutely no special interest and no strings attached.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_04]: Anthony will fight corruption in both parties, cut our taxes, secure the border, defend the Second Amendment, he'll protect our farms and fork drug.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_04]: Anthony will fight for our veterans and answer to no one but you.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_04]: He's nobody's man but yours.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_13]: I'm Anthony Garzantino and I approve this message.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_04]: Hate for by Constantino for Congress.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_16]: What's happening in North Country?
- 51:33[SPEAKER_16]: Brendan Labry here from FX Capriahanda.

- 51:54[SPEAKER_16]: And FX Capriahanda has some of the best buys in town right now.

- 52:24[SPEAKER_16]: Come see me, Brendan Labrity, and the whole crew at FX-Copera Honda.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_16]: Turn off the savings and get yourself a new set of wheels.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, I'm State Senator Mark Wallsick.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_01]: There is nowhere on Earth quite like upstate New York, from our natural resources and landscapes to the grit and determination of our hardworking families I am incredibly proud to represent seven beautiful counties.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_01]: But your utility bill is too high, tax bill too big, and the return on your hard work squandered in Albany.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_01]: Our state government has lost its way and New York has been a leader in what not to do.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: One party rule has created a severe imbalance of power.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody elected me to manage the decline of our great state and I'm fighting every single day to bring balance back to state government.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: Please know that when you vote to send me back to Albany, you're hiring a Patriot who's not afraid to speak up for you and stand up against policies that make it harder for you to earn a living.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate your vote for me, Senator Mark Walsek.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_05]: it's all you need to know you need to know center wall's a god there yeah well anyway i mean he didn't want to put a sign in front of the uh property of one of water towns leading influences uh i don't take that sir you know personally or anything but you know it's it's a navawanic and it's the constant you know did so uh i don't know
- 54:03[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, 755, 1240, or phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today, also, when you know the problem is, it's not that these people don't have good intentions and they do, but they're in a system which the Democrats have a veto proof of majority, they can literally do what they want, even if the governor disagree, they can do what they want, and it's, you know, it's kind of difficult.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_05]: So, up in these apple-knocker districts like up here, you know, you can continue to elect Republicans, but I'm not sure what they can do.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_05]: You know, it's a tough, it's a conundrum.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_05]: I'm so old, I can remember when the Republicans controlled the state assembly.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_05]: Perry Durya was the assembly speaker.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_05]: I think he was from Long Island.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_05]: And, of course, I think they had the Senate in their hands too.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_05]: And, he did up through Joe Bruno.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_05]: but now it's it's just crazy.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_05]: Albany is nuts.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I don't know.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_05]: I will see.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I don't personally dislike Kathy Hook alive matter.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_05]: Talk to her.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_05]: You know, he's not pleasant enough.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, hang out with her in the luxury box at the Bill Stadium watching the Jets game if you wanted.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_05]: But, you know,
- 55:29[SPEAKER_05]: she can't even do anything and she's beholden to marimame dami who's going to be the next governor in four year all of that i don't know now what are you going to do is voters in two years when shumers up you're going to do it if they go out and you i don't even think you'll you'll get the nomination again but if a.o.c.s.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_05]: the nominee i think she would win
- 55:59[SPEAKER_05]: She's been positioning herself pretty defiantly lately, you know, I'm, everybody says she's, oh, she's a golden bartender, damn if she wouldn't be where she is.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_05]: She made a couple mistakes along her way, no doubt about her, but who hasn't?
- 56:12[SPEAKER_05]: Who hasn't?
- 56:14[SPEAKER_06]: But after noon or on the air, hey, near Graham, 60 days crawling from the ranch works of beautiful day.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_05]: No, you're up in St. Lawrence County.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_06]: we have the other kind of BS we have the HS up here because we have horses and I know that one caller is he called the angry man?
- 56:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yes he is.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_06]: He truly did vent and I heard they add that he's talking about with the BS proclamation and boy you know languages of funny things and we got to watch ourselves but the
- 56:51[SPEAKER_06]: We have a president who needs a filter all the time because he lets the grip and that unfortunately has changed the nature of the game and a lot of our neighbors to the North you know and now they're all driving around with their elbows up and they don't like us and well it's a kind of under a new set it yeah I don't really know what to do there
- 57:16[SPEAKER_05]: The Canadian thing, I don't know whether I don't know enough about these trade deals to really comment on it.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_05]: Now we got a thing with Bombardier and they don't want to build an airplanes unless it's here.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what I thought they made subways or something, but I, or snowmobiles.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_06]: But they have made snowmobiles in the past, but they also are big in the aviation, but all this of course happened with the terror stuff.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_06]: And back before our taxes were the big thing.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't mean to say to raise most of the money through tariff's back in the earlier centuries of our country's history.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_05]: Well, as I recall before the what ever the amendment was on the asset.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_05]: 18th was probably 17th amendment is one of those that created say our income tax.
- 58:05[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, permanent income tax.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_06]: They were obviously taxing folks in many ways during the American Civil War to pay for that.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_06]: and they kind of ease off after that, but we, you know, got to got ourselves in the dead.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_06]: And now we're, what's 30 trillion with the TR?
- 58:22[SPEAKER_05]: Wow, it's 40.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_06]: Is it 40 now?
- 58:25[SPEAKER_06]: I must have those off.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, sure.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_05]: That clock is running, you better.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_06]: I took a pass on the, the scene of Labor Day parade.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_06]: I'm glad that AC went there and crashed their party.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_06]: That's what we want to call it for that line.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_06]: But I'm not a big fan of unions, my last career before I retired, was 20 years over the road in the big truck, and any time I went to a union shop to pick up or to drop off, there was always seem to be a hassle.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_05]: yeah so very quickly uh... constant in our agenda being who do you like you're in that district i'm not i'm in the district and uh... uh... i've got to go with the guy with the art side is named and uh... hope he doesn't come on uh... gangbusters like uh... trump yeah he's got a curve is trumping trumpism yeah well alright so the mule is your candidate yeah i'm thirty in a few i'm gonna i'm gonna go on out
