Continuing our dive into James Cameron, we cover The Abyss (1989). Notoriously known as one of the most difficult and dangerous movies ever made, The Abyss follows Bud Brigman (Ed Harris), a civilian deep-see engineer and his crew as they make a dangerous journey to recover a nuclear submarine. Nearly half of the movie is shot underwater, using specialized diving equipment for the crew and cast.
