- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: They were really fun for me.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: time for a win of yours.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: All right, this is from Charlotte Coker.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: We know her from agency and she wrote, got a new private client who has never done Pilis and she's loving it.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: She wants to attend two to three times weekly, heading to M-Bounce to Studio shortly to attend
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: Four workshop with Carrie Pigeas.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Carrie is a dear friend of mine.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: So of course it's so fun for me.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: So Charlotte, I hope you had the best time at Carrie Studio.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: Way too invest in yourself and give yourself a mission to do something that like light you up.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: And way too, be so passionate that someone who's never gonna apologize before, that only wants to do it with you, but wants to do it multiple times a week.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's huge.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's a big deal.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Getting anyone to go from zero to three times that a week is a big deal.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: So congratulations.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for sharing that with us.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: Hey guys, just being like excited about what you do goes a long way.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I know not all of you are in business for yourself, and so that's not the point.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: But like, you are a magnet for great people to be in your lives if you're passionate about things.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying like lie and fake it, but like be it till you see it is about going, well, who is it that I want to be?
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: If the person I want to be doesn't complain in judge and criticize and mope, then what would I be doing?
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: How would I be acting if I was already on the other side of this?
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: And then it will help you.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I need that that version of me would have done therapy that version of me would have
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: move that version of me would have taken that new job whatever it is, right?
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like it helps you filter out what you're going to do.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you Charlotte.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, a win of mine.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really proud of myself.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: I've got all my annual visits done.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: So dermatologist, the mammogram, gynecologist, blood work, all is done.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: So so excited to have to say that and share that and how is it a win?
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: Because there's always a reason to postpone those things.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: There's always a reason to postpone those things.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: And when you do my loves, you suffer.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: Because you actually, your body is able to kind of like tolerate some things.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: You can start to tolerate feeling moody.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: You can start to tolerate feeling uncomfortable.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: You can start to tolerate, oh, I'm just getting older.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I have this or that.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: No, some of these things have solutions, right?
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm not saying they become obsessive.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: But get your annual done.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: And when I talked about a mammogram a year ago, I had a bunch of people.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe not like a dozen, but like at least seven people from around the world going, I heard mammograms aren't worth doing.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, oh, did they suggest something else for you?
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, no, and I'm like, why on earth would you listen to someone say that something doesn't work?
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: But then they don't provide an option that does.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: You guys like
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: That kind of shit pisses me off because making women scared of things that could save their lives, but not offering an alternative that will save their life.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck that.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm not okay with that.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, mammograms can miss things.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe they're not great for you, but they also can do ultrasound.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: There's other things you can do.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: Please do not let people who sound very confident, scare the heck out of you out of preventative measures that can keep you from getting sick or dying.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: Please do your research.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's really, really, really important to me that you hear that and that you know that, like, do the research about, and this is the hard thing, right?
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, when you hear people say, oh, go do your own research.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of the research out there that's a bunch of shit because it's just some people like preponderance of crap, scaring you.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: So, generally, it's going to be hard, especially flimus states and they've gotten rid of some stuff.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: But do call your doctors.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: Do find out, like, well, where did you get the information?
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: Where can I read about it?
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: How can what's the best resources I can look at for the pros and cons for me?
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: They can help you, right?
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: So don't go off on some influencer who says I'm a wellness doctor, like, go, go, I'm not one.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: So go find, go, like, talk to the doctors that you'd love and trust and ask and worry that you can do the research so that you can arm yourself with the best information.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: They are in a practice.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: They're not perfect.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: We don't do perfect around here.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: So anyways,
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: I am so proud that I got all those done and it's, I got them done before the summer tour so I don't have to worry about it.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: And now I can enjoy the rest of the year, start them again next year, but we gotta take care of ourselves, you know, getting older is not for the week.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: It just really, really isn't.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's why I do Pilates, that's why I wear weight best, that's why I check on my hormones, that's why I bring on all the guests that we bring on.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: to help you, make sure you can be until you see it all the way into the very end.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully it's over a hundred, having the time of your life, enjoying what you do.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, I do end these episodes usually with a mantra.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: So let me give you yours.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: Pauling Molly, can't believe this.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: We're coming.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, this is great.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: I nourish myself with kind words and joyful foods.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: I nourish myself with kind words and joyful foods.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: I nourish myself with kind words and joyful foods.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: I love that.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: Go be kind to yourself.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: Be your all best friend.
