  a big mistake? Now, granted, that's when the

  silver price was around 15 or $16.00 per oz.

  But at that time, I remember sitting there at the kitchen

  table thinking, am I just a fool putting so much money into

  silver? Well, you know how that worked

  out so far. And I don't think we're ever

  going to see $16.00 silver again.

  Look, it's normal to be apprehensive.

  But in this video, I want to talk with you about two factors

  that I'm not hearing anyone talk about when it comes to the

  silver market. We know the big underlying

  reasons why we love silver. The reasons, right?

  The fact that overall supply is diminishing while at the same

  time from both industrial and a monetary perspective, the dual

  role of silver, we're seeing increased demand.

  the commonly talked about points that we've covered ad nauseam,

  the big supply demand picture. First, we're going to talk about

  a big news story out of Russia. Remember, Russia is kind of

  leading the way as the world is bifurcating right now.

  If there's any country in the world that standing up to the

  United States of America, to the hegemony, to the world power, it

  would be Russia. And when they announced
• 3:36
  something about silver, we better perk up.

  The Russian government announced that they proposed to keep
• 3:44
  spending on precious metals 51.5 billion rubles in 2025 and that
• 3:50
  they're going to start buying Palladium.

  You might be asking Ron, I thought you were going to talk

  about silver. Well, buried in this
• 3:59
  announcement at the bottom very last paragraph, it says the plan

  is to acquire refined gold, silver, platinum and Palladium
• 4:12
  to increase the share of highly liquid assets in their state

  funds. The explanatory note says why is

  this a big deal? This is a huge deal because do

  you remember any world government or any world central

  bank announcing any time in the last number of decades that

  they're actually going to buy silver?

  It says it right here in black and orange that that's the case

  with Russia and Russia is leading the charge in the world

  to de dollarize through the bricks.

  We know at the end of October 2024, there will be a massive

  bricks meeting in Russia. The de dollarization efforts are
• 4:59
  underway, while at the same time the move towards gold and silver

  is also occurring in this announcement is a big deal.

  But next, let's talk about a little hidden gem that we can

  discuss regarding China. We know China is crazy about

  gold. We also know they were importing
• 5:23
  a lot of silver as well. But what about the Chinese

  citizenry? They buy gold.

  We have pictures of them, 800,000 of them lining up to buy

  gold at shopping malls. But what about silver?

  Is there a new piece of information from a reputable

  source to give us great optimism about the 1.4 billion people in

  China and silver? Citibank is giving you plenty of
• 5:55
  reasons to be very happy about your decision to invest in

  silver. Don't forget, this is a bank

  with over 200,000 employees, a financial powerhouse, and #1

  they've raised their estimate on the silver price, but that's not

  what we're really excited about. We'll get to that in a second.

  They said they're bullish on silver year end, 2000 year end

  and mid 2025 targets of $35 and $38 to $40 respectively.

  Now this is where it gets interesting because they say at

  this juncture silver has unique exposure to both sides of the

  bifurcated China economy. The energy transition, sure, we

  know this already right? Basement dwellers, solar E BS

  and more recently an increase in retail silver demand,
• 6:52
  potentially as a store of value against the backdrop of a weak
• 6:58
  local property market. They had a property bubble burst

  in China, sluggish consumer sentiment, their economy is
• 7:06
  slowing down and already high record gold prices.

  City is telling us that what they are seeing, what they are
• 7:16
  predicting is an increase in consumer demand for silver.

  As an investor, why is this such a big deal?

  What's the reason why we should be super excited about this?

  I'll give you a 1.4 billion reasons why.

  Is that enough? 1.4 billion people in China,

  let's say half of them 700 million, decide to buy 1 1/2

  ounces of silver. That's a billion oz.

  That wipes out the whole entire world's production of silver in

  one swoop. They could do it in one day.

  There simply is not enough silver to go around for half or

  even a third of the Chinese citizenry to protect themselves
