- 1:27SPEAKER_02: I am your host with Big Dog Construction, your local window depot.
- 1:31SPEAKER_02: And as usual, I have my smiling co-host, Caitlin Burgini.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: Hello.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: Hey, today we're talking about something exciting happening right here in our community, Carnival's Christmas Spotlight.
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: You may have heard it on some of the other segments we're doing.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: We're talking about so much big news.
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: We want to talk about it anytime we can with all of our 10x partners, especially our first choice reality pros partners, because they can help on finding you places to stay permanently.
- 1:57SPEAKER_02: And so we're going to talk about the Mariest Town and Hallmark Connection and what that attention could mean for our local businesses and community and what it might mean for the real estate market.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: Because sometimes people discover a town because of an event, a holiday tradition, or something they've seen on television, which they're going to see us on television, and they end up discovering a place they'd love to call home.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: Let's talk about why Carlville is such a special place to live.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: So Carlville's always been a little special little town, right?
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: I was born here, believe it or not.
- 2:29SPEAKER_04: Me too.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: Hey.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: Born here in the old hospital.
- 2:31SPEAKER_02: Were you born in the old hospital?
- 2:32SPEAKER_04: I think I was.
- 2:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: They say I was the last one, then they shut down the because I came out.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: And yeah, anyway.
- 2:38SPEAKER_04: They were like, you can't make any better babies than this.
- 2:41SPEAKER_04: Well, I was in January, so there was a king and a queen for the year of 1965.
- 2:46SPEAKER_04: At least for you.
- 2:47SPEAKER_04: John Hamill was the king because he was born the day before.
- 2:50SPEAKER_04: He was January 3rd and I was January 4th.
- 2:52SPEAKER_02: Well, I'll be darn with it.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: So you were the first baby of the year.
- 2:56SPEAKER_02: Girl.
- 2:56SPEAKER_02: Girl baby of the year.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: She was the queen of the year.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: Something.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: I came out in March, but when I came out, I slipped through the doctor's hands and cracked the instrument tray between my eyes, so I had black and blue eyes, so I don't have any baby pictures.
- 3:08SPEAKER_06: Is that a real story?
- 3:09SPEAKER_02: It's a true story.
- 3:10SPEAKER_06: They're both mouths.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: It's a true story.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: I was like, Chris, of course.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: Fast 10X style.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: It was 10X style.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: I love that style.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: On Palm Sunday.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: Beautiful day.
- 3:23SPEAKER_06: Oh my God.
- 3:24SPEAKER_02: So hey, anyway, it has been a special little town for several of us that have been born here, right?
- 3:29SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: And with the excitement surrounding the Marius Christmas town and Hallmark, more people may be discovering it.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: Today we are talking about what could mean for our community and housing market, right?
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: So, Lisa, Lydia, thanks for being here.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: Our pros from First Reserve Only Pros, right?
- 3:49SPEAKER_06: So You guys were the first people I thought of.
- 3:52SPEAKER_06: I'm not even kidding with the Hallmark.
- 3:53SPEAKER_06: I'm like, dude, this reality is gonna blow up because people are just gonna like, like he said, gonna come here once and they're gonna be like, oh, we want to live here.
- 4:02SPEAKER_06: For example, I met this lady at the gym this week.
- 4:04SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 4:05SPEAKER_06: She was only here for their 10-year anniversary, but still special event.
- 4:09SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 4:10SPEAKER_06: She said, I've never been to a town where it is everybody is so nice and welcoming.
- 4:14SPEAKER_06: I love it here.
- 4:15SPEAKER_06: It's fun.
- 4:16SPEAKER_06: She wants to move here.
- 4:17SPEAKER_06: So see what I mean?
- 4:18SPEAKER_06: We have that, and people are gonna see our funness and happiness when they come to this.
- 4:23SPEAKER_06: And then your phone's blowing up.
- 4:26SPEAKER_06: We'll start ringing.
- 4:26SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: With the with the Christmas connection, right?
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: And Hallmark connection, how do you see that the community is going to how does that help the real estate market, in your opinion?
- 4:38SPEAKER_04: I think people are going to want to, number one, they're going to want to come view Carlinville.
- 4:43SPEAKER_04: Correct.
- 4:43SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 4:44SPEAKER_04: And then once they're here, it's like a capture.
- 4:47SPEAKER_04: I don't know if you ever watch the Gilmore Girls and Stars Hollow.
- 4:50SPEAKER_04: Oh, of course.
- 4:52SPEAKER_04: That's that's what I think of.
- 4:53SPEAKER_04: Of course.
- 4:54SPEAKER_06: Oh, I don't.
- 4:55SPEAKER_06: A lot of but hey, but a lot of people have compared our town to that, Lisa.
- 5:00SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 5:00SPEAKER_04: Because you have those community things, the the ice cream socials and the brave days and yeah, and all the things, the the the markets that go on once a month.
- 5:10SPEAKER_04: Those types of excitement things that go on, people, man, they're drawn to that.
- 5:17SPEAKER_04: And then you walk around and people are like, Hi, how are you?
- 5:20SPEAKER_04: Oh, I've not met you before.
- 5:21SPEAKER_04: And they put their hand out and they say, I I can see myself retiring here.
- 5:27SPEAKER_04: I can see myself moving here with my family because we have great schools, libraries.
- 5:33SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 5:33SPEAKER_04: Library has all kinds of things.
- 5:35SPEAKER_06: I mean, and we do have very good schools.
- 5:37SPEAKER_06: We have the best in the area.
- 5:38SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 5:39SPEAKER_06: I'm just saying.
- 5:39SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: So here's what we, Caitlin, when I say we just learned we were recording another podcast right before this one.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: And we found from the organization we were interviewing that they've had people contact them about the event, the Christmas market event, that are bringing busloads of people from Maine, 50 people to other states.
- 6:02SPEAKER_06: That's crazy.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: Bringing these people in.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: They're projecting, you know, on average, they say they have about 3,000 visitors come through the Christmas market that weekend.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: They're projecting 8 to 10,000 this year.
- 6:13SPEAKER_04: See, that's one of those can almost triple.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: That is phenomenal for the real estate market.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: Because people are gonna be like, I want to call this place my home.
- 6:21SPEAKER_04: Because they will go to the shops, they will go through the tents, but they will drive the neighborhoods.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: They will 100% because I know that there's a big push now to decorate.
- 6:34SPEAKER_06: Oh, definitely East Maine.
- 6:35SPEAKER_06: They'll they'll be driving.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: Anywhere.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: Just hey, Carlinville, now's the time.
- 6:40SPEAKER_02: Get your Christmas lights out.
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: If you've been thinking about it for all these years, get them out.
- 6:44SPEAKER_02: Showcase your home.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: Showcase your Christmas pride.
- 6:46SPEAKER_02: And you might show up in a movie.
- 6:48SPEAKER_06: Hey, call Elite Roofing.
- 6:49SPEAKER_06: Just have him install those lights.
- 6:51SPEAKER_06: I actually am thinking about these are so cute.
- 6:54SPEAKER_06: Like he they stay on forever.
- 6:56SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 6:56SPEAKER_06: And you can buy a remote.
- 6:58SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you can change the couple colors.
- 7:00SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 7:00SPEAKER_06: Easy.
- 7:01SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 7:01SPEAKER_06: Now my Chris would love me for that.
- 7:03SPEAKER_06: That's why we want to put it in the colour.
- 7:04SPEAKER_06: He wouldn't have to make those up all the time.
- 7:06SPEAKER_04: See?
- 7:06SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 7:07SPEAKER_04: But that that whole thing, when they drive the streets of Carlandville, this you might not have been thinking about selling, or maybe you are thinking about selling.
- 7:19SPEAKER_04: This would be a good time to get your house show ready.
- 7:22SPEAKER_04: Especially for the outside.
- 7:24SPEAKER_04: Now, most people would say nobody ever stops and knocks on your door and says, Hey, I'd love to see your home.
- 7:31SPEAKER_04: My dad lives in the standard edition.
- 7:34SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 7:35SPEAKER_04: I'm sure he does.
- 7:36SPEAKER_04: And his his yard, everything is immaculate.
- 7:40SPEAKER_04: People drive around just to see the standard edition.
- 7:43SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 7:43SPEAKER_04: And they stop and they take pictures with him and they go through his home and they love it.
- 7:50SPEAKER_04: And he's getting Christmas cards and all this stuff from these people that have gone through scares me.
- 7:56SPEAKER_06: No, but your dad, your dad, and there's this other lady that I did a video on hers too.
- 8:02SPEAKER_06: That you they're like the only ones that their houses are still original.
- 8:06SPEAKER_06: Yes, original.
- 8:07SPEAKER_06: And they look great.
- 8:07SPEAKER_06: But yeah, she's got she's people come to her home.
- 8:10SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 8:11SPEAKER_06: They find it very interesting.
- 8:12SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: So Maine is a rich state.
- 8:15SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I know.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: My parents are Maine is one of the original 13 colonies.
- 8:19SPEAKER_06: 13 original colonies.
- 8:21SPEAKER_06: Right?
- 8:21SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: Am I right in my history?
- 8:23SPEAKER_06: She's going through the songs.
- 8:24SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: Correct.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: So my my point with that is that there may be some very wealthy people that come to the Christmas market on this busload or even independently that may have that liquid cash that we've talked about on real estate realtor segment before that they may see a home that they really love and do they like to buy your home.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: They and it's not even very close.
- 8:47SPEAKER_06: I know I see like retire people retirement people like doing that.
- 8:51SPEAKER_06: And I really do.
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: And they can help you walk through that process.
- 9:05SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: Because this, this, you could have a Christmas miracle happen, right?
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:09SPEAKER_02: I'm calling it.
- 9:10SPEAKER_04: Well, and they may not want to actually live here full time, but they may buy that house for a bed and breakfast.
- 9:17SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 9:17SPEAKER_04: They an investment.
- 9:19SPEAKER_04: An investment.
- 9:20SPEAKER_04: Trying to there.
- 9:21SPEAKER_04: They may see something that maybe Carlinville doesn't have in stores and they want to put that here.
- 9:27SPEAKER_04: So now they're property.
- 9:30SPEAKER_04: Right?
- 9:30SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 9:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 9:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: Definitely.
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: And that's that's why we wanted to bring this real little segment to you today because sellers and buyers, more so sellers here.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: Get yourselves ready.
- 9:41SPEAKER_04: Get ready.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: Like Lisa just said, if you've even inkling thought about selling it, now's the time to showcase your home.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: Showcase it.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: How warm and cozy it can be, how inviting it.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: On the outside, right?
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: That curb appeal we've talked about early on, right?
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 9:56SPEAKER_04: Curb appeal means everything.
- 9:58SPEAKER_04: Gotta grab them, right?
- 9:58SPEAKER_04: Well, curb appeal can mean dollars in your hands.
- 10:01SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 10:01SPEAKER_04: If if you do it correctly.
- 10:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 10:03SPEAKER_04: And so it's not just about the realtor.
- 10:05SPEAKER_04: Now, what can a realtor do for me?
- 10:07SPEAKER_04: I don't want to do anything.
- 10:09SPEAKER_04: What can you do for me?
- 10:10SPEAKER_04: No, what can you do for yourself before we ever list it?
- 10:13SPEAKER_06: Well, and you're an advisor.
- 10:15SPEAKER_06: You're not gonna go there.
- 10:16SPEAKER_06: I know you will kick weeds and stuff like that.
- 10:18SPEAKER_06: But I mean you're you're the one that gives the directions.
- 10:21SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 10:22SPEAKER_06: Like, and then whether you follow them or not is up to you.
- 10:24SPEAKER_06: Like that one man, he did everything that you told him to do.
- 10:28SPEAKER_06: And guess what?
- 10:28SPEAKER_06: He sold his house.
- 10:30SPEAKER_06: Yep.
- 10:30SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: So, Lydia, what would you tell someone unfamiliar with Carnaville about why they should invest in living here and or invest in in commercial here?
- 10:42SPEAKER_05: I just think all the opportunities that it would bring to them as well.
- 10:44SPEAKER_05: My first thought was whenever you set a bed and breakfast, we don't have that here, right?
- 10:49SPEAKER_05: Am I wrong?
- 10:49SPEAKER_05: Besides like we have a few.
- 10:51SPEAKER_05: No, Airbnbs.
- 10:52SPEAKER_05: Oh, not that's not what we're doing.
- 10:54SPEAKER_05: That's just like one bed and hold.
- 10:56SPEAKER_05: I don't think it's a bed and hold.
- 10:57SPEAKER_05: No, you don't.
- 10:58SPEAKER_05: You're right.
- 10:59SPEAKER_02: Because you can reserve just one room.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: You're talking about on North Main?
- 11:02SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 11:02SPEAKER_05: There's a lot of the there's a few of those, especially on the square room.
- 11:05SPEAKER_05: But people want them.
- 11:06SPEAKER_05: You're right, Lydia.
- 11:07SPEAKER_05: They're I mean, they're already booked out.
- 11:08SPEAKER_05: If you because we have one above old fashioned and it like it's booked.
- 11:13SPEAKER_05: Every Airbnb in the area is booked right now.
- 11:15SPEAKER_05: So I feel like it's not.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: But it's not a true bed and breakfast.
- 11:17SPEAKER_05: No, it's just an Airbnb.
- 11:18SPEAKER_05: Nobody's gonna bring you back to the body.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: Sit down at the table and and talk to people that are from another state or wherever.
- 11:24SPEAKER_06: Lydia, that can be your job.
- 11:26SPEAKER_06: Let's open up a bed and breakfast.
- 11:27SPEAKER_06: No, you can go up and old fashioned and be like, well.
- 11:31SPEAKER_05: Here's your fruit loops.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: Your fruit loops.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: Here's your floops.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: And vodka, right?
- 11:35SPEAKER_05: No, but that was my first thought.
- 11:37SPEAKER_05: Like, we don't have anything in that in like here.
- 11:40SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 11:40SPEAKER_05: And like you said, people that are coming here, they may not be looking for their forever home.
- 11:44SPEAKER_05: They might just be looking for something like that to an investment.
- 11:48SPEAKER_05: And there are a lot of good houses around.
- 11:51SPEAKER_05: I've got a few in mind.
- 11:52SPEAKER_05: Houses in the area that I've seen that wink, wink.
- 11:55SPEAKER_02: I've got a few right now that she will walk up to the door and knock for you.
- 11:59SPEAKER_05: I will 100%.
- 12:01SPEAKER_05: That can be turned into something and a really good investment.
- 12:04SPEAKER_06: Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 12:05SPEAKER_06: People listening right now, even if you have never even thought about making an investment as an Airbnb, this right now would be the best time if you want some passive income because people are complaining.
- 12:19SPEAKER_06: They want to be here in Cargo.
- 12:20SPEAKER_06: They don't want to go down onto Lichfield.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: Yes, but strong community connections.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: We've got a chamber that is a heart, strong community.
- 12:31SPEAKER_02: Basically the whole now.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: I mean, that was what drove the Hallmark connection.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, 100%.
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 12:39SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 12:39SPEAKER_02: And they picked up that torch, and here we are, where we're heading into this.
- 12:42SPEAKER_02: This is uncharted territory for Carlinville and for the chamber and for Hallmark, because this was the first.
- 12:50SPEAKER_05: Oh my gosh, that's right.
- 12:52SPEAKER_02: Marystown contest they're talking about.
- 12:55SPEAKER_05: Because we're the first one.
- 12:56SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 12:56SPEAKER_05: We are the first one.
- 12:57SPEAKER_04: Like Stephanie was talking about, we're sending it.
- 12:59SPEAKER_04: We're the first chapter.
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: And so we want to make it the best, brightest, longest chapter of that book.
- 13:06SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 13:06SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 13:06SPEAKER_02: That's what we want to do.
- 13:07SPEAKER_02: Caiden's like, yeah, yeah.
- 13:09SPEAKER_07: You know, I'm like that.
- 13:09SPEAKER_04: I'm like, yeah, I'll get out there and do the whole school song.
- 13:12SPEAKER_04: Well, and when people drive in and they see the whole town, it seems like when you look at people putting lights on the trees, uh picking up stuff around the square, it's a community working together because there's pride in our community.
- 13:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:28SPEAKER_04: And that's where people want to live.
- 13:30SPEAKER_04: They don't want to live where there's no pride and everybody's complaining and hating life.
- 13:36SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 13:36SPEAKER_04: Garbage all over the grounds.
- 13:38SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 13:38SPEAKER_04: Stores not open.
- 13:39SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: So Lisa, for you.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: Uh-oh.
- 13:42SPEAKER_02: How would you sell Carlomville in 30 seconds or less?
- 13:45SPEAKER_04: It's the best town ever.
- 13:47SPEAKER_04: I grew up here.
- 13:48SPEAKER_04: The people love you back.
- 13:50SPEAKER_04: When you get here, there are so many opportunities, as Lydia said.
- 13:54SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 13:55SPEAKER_04: How long was that?
- 13:56SPEAKER_04: I thought that was purpose.
- 13:59SPEAKER_02: But that's hard to do.
- 14:00SPEAKER_06: I was nervous for you because oh my gosh.
- 14:05SPEAKER_04: Did I have a clap?
- 14:06SPEAKER_04: Was that a that was a clap?
- 14:07SPEAKER_04: Woo!
- 14:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's it.

- 17:08SPEAKER_05: Oh my clients, whenever they f first came here, they had not, they had seen it on TV or on TV, on Facebook, blah, blah, blah.
- 17:16SPEAKER_05: They knew a lot about the area, but not that much.
- 17:18SPEAKER_05: We started talking about it, and the first thing they said is Route 66, all the cool cars that come up there.
- 17:22SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: Especially this year, yeah.
- 17:24SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 17:24SPEAKER_05: But then they were like, Where's like the closest Walmart?
- 17:27SPEAKER_05: And I was like, Here.
- 17:29SPEAKER_05: We have Walmart.
- 17:30SPEAKER_05: And he's like, There's no way.
- 17:31SPEAKER_05: And I was like, I promise you.
- 17:32SPEAKER_05: And I was giving them directions.
- 17:33SPEAKER_05: I promise you.
- 17:34SPEAKER_05: And I was telling them everything we had in town.
- 17:36SPEAKER_05: They had no idea.
- 17:37SPEAKER_05: And he's like, I love the fact that you don't have everything.
- 17:40SPEAKER_05: Like, we want Target, Cole, any shopping like that.
- 17:42SPEAKER_05: You got to go to Springford Edwards.
- 17:44SPEAKER_05: Well, it's not that far though, 45 minutes.
- 17:46SPEAKER_05: But for groceries, for our meat market, for gas stations, for fast food and restaurants, we have all that here.
- 17:53SPEAKER_05: You don't have to travel 30 minutes.
- 17:55SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying studio.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: You're so right.
- 17:58SPEAKER_06: We have something that we have.
- 18:00SPEAKER_06: Multiple boutiques.
- 18:01SPEAKER_06: We have a specialty shoe store.
- 18:03SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 18:04SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 18:04SPEAKER_06: Name a place.
- 18:05SPEAKER_06: I'm sorry.
- 18:06SPEAKER_06: I mean a movie theater.
- 18:08SPEAKER_02: A theater.
- 18:10SPEAKER_05: We have something of everything here.
- 18:12SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 18:12SPEAKER_05: We got it all.
- 18:13SPEAKER_05: But that just, I mean, that made me happy because they thought we didn't have a lot here.
- 18:18SPEAKER_05: And you're like, and then as soon as I started doing the list, he's like, oh my gosh, this is great.
- 18:22SPEAKER_06: Lady will start carrying around a brochure.
- 18:23SPEAKER_02: Oh, on the contrary.
- 18:24SPEAKER_02: This is what we have.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: Bam.
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: Bam.
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: Bam.
- 18:27SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 18:28SPEAKER_02: We got all this.
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: Well, hey, we've been talking about the Mariest Town and all of that and the Hallmark connection and what it's going to mean for sellers and buyers, right?
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: But what does it mean?
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: How does it work with working with first choice reality pros?
- 18:44SPEAKER_02: Just give us a quick high overview of working with your team.
- 18:48SPEAKER_04: What it's like to work with us.
- 18:50SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 18:50SPEAKER_04: Number one, we're good listeners.
- 18:52SPEAKER_04: I think go ahead.
- 18:54SPEAKER_04: No, go ahead.
- 18:55SPEAKER_04: I interrupted you.
- 18:59SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I love it.
- 19:00SPEAKER_05: Lydia, because this was her question is.
- 19:02SPEAKER_05: This is her segment.
- 19:04SPEAKER_05: So let's hear it.
- 19:05SPEAKER_05: I was just gonna say the passion we have for it and not only just about like our community and how much we do love it, but how much we love the real estate world as well.
- 19:15SPEAKER_05: And we want our clients to learn and be knowledgeable of it as well.
- 19:20SPEAKER_05: And we want to give them what they need out of us whenever they're buying a house or if they're selling.
- 19:25SPEAKER_05: We want to walk them through every part of it and be there for them.
- 19:29SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 19:29SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 19:30SPEAKER_04: We never want somebody to sit down at a closing table and say, Oh, I didn't know.
- 19:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: Well, what do you wish every buyer or seller knew about using a local realtor?
- 19:41SPEAKER_04: Because we are right here.
- 19:42SPEAKER_04: We are in the middle of it.
- 19:44SPEAKER_04: And if you have a question, we can find the answer or we know the answer.
- 19:49SPEAKER_04: It's just great because we know we know the outskirts of town, we know what's connected to the town, we know we can we can get them to the people if they want to, you know, if there's a I'm not I'm not thinking of the word, if they're trying to uh zoning.
- 20:07SPEAKER_04: Zoning is my word.
- 20:08SPEAKER_07: There you go.
- 20:09SPEAKER_04: Headache.
- 20:10SPEAKER_04: You're like me.
- 20:11SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the zoning, we can get them to the people that can help them with that too.
- 20:16SPEAKER_04: So we make sure that they're buying the right property to do the right thing.
- 20:20SPEAKER_06: Well, like you said, you've born and raised here, man.
- 20:22SPEAKER_06: Like you, you know the ins and outs of everything.
- 20:24SPEAKER_06: You know how long this house has been here, you know how many people have lived there.
- 20:28SPEAKER_06: I mean, really likely, yeah.
- 20:30SPEAKER_06: Yeah, like that.
- 20:31SPEAKER_06: It's so I think that that is so helpful.
- 20:33SPEAKER_06: And if you don't know a question, if if you don't know an answer, you you probably know someone who does know the answer.
- 20:38SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
- 20:39SPEAKER_04: I have one that I'm getting ready to close the end of the month or the end of next month.
- 20:44SPEAKER_04: And when we walked through, I said, I knew the people who lived here prior to this seller.
- 20:50SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 20:50SPEAKER_04: And they were wonderful people.
- 20:53SPEAKER_04: They took very good care of the home.
- 20:55SPEAKER_04: So the inspection happened yesterday, and the inspector says, This is a great home.
- 21:01SPEAKER_04: We got the report.
- 21:02SPEAKER_07: Short short.
- 21:03SPEAKER_04: Short.
- 21:04SPEAKER_04: I love those cats.
- 21:05SPEAKER_06: Oh, yeah.
- 21:05SPEAKER_06: And you know what?
- 21:06SPEAKER_06: You're you guys are so fun too.
- 21:08SPEAKER_06: You are so fun.
- 21:09SPEAKER_06: And I think that's helpful in a very serious situation to make it be memorable and something fun and happy that the buyers or sellers can remember.
- 21:18SPEAKER_06: Yeah, we're getting ready to do it.
- 21:18SPEAKER_06: Refer to red cards.
- 21:20SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 21:20SPEAKER_06: Two red cars.
- 21:21SPEAKER_06: Fun.
- 21:22SPEAKER_02: And and so correct me if I'm wrong, Lisa, which I know you will.
- 21:25SPEAKER_02: Oh, dear.
- 21:25SPEAKER_02: If I'm wrong.
- 21:26SPEAKER_02: Chris.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: You were promised not Chris.
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: But anyway.
- 21:29SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 21:29unknown: I promised it.
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: The the thing again, we've talked about Lydia was talking about how you know we don't have the coals and all those things because they're 45 minutes away, north or south, right?
- 21:38SPEAKER_02: But what what we do have and what we have in First Church Realty Pros is you guys bring all the power and experience of these national real estate companies.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 21:49SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 21:49SPEAKER_02: And you still have the reach that they have as well because you're advertising on the same platforms they are.
- 21:55SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 21:55SPEAKER_02: And that's what I that's what I personally want our listeners and followers to know is that.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: You guys bring that national feel with the hometown vibe.

- 22:17SPEAKER_04: Your realtor mother and your realtor sister.
- 22:20SPEAKER_04: That's right.
- 22:21SPEAKER_04: So we we're going to be in it from the get-go, and we're never going to pass you off.
- 22:27SPEAKER_04: I'm not going to pass you off to somebody else and not finish the deal.
