- 0:00Speaker 1: All Star Toyota presents Off the Bench with Jacob Hester
- 0:04Speaker 1: and Matt Flynn.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Okay, here we go where.
- 0:07Speaker 1: The plays get broken down and science gets denied. I
- 0:10Speaker 1: got to come up to bitch hour two of Off
- 0:12Speaker 1: the Bench live from the Raising Kine Studio.
- 0:23Speaker 2: All right, welcome back in. It is otb our number
- 0:26Speaker 2: two here live from Rouse's on Burbank and Lee. Do
- 0:32Speaker 2: you want to give a shout out to a couple
- 0:34Speaker 2: of LSU teams, the first one being LSU soccer. The
- 0:38Speaker 2: Tigers take down Mississippi State to advance to the SEC
- 0:44Speaker 2: Championship game. They win three to one over Mississippi State,
- 0:49Speaker 2: So shout out to Coashawn Hudson and the squad. Also
- 0:53Speaker 2: another shout out Kim Moulk and the Tigers. Well, they
- 0:59Speaker 2: had a pretty offensive night in the p MAC last night.
- 1:04Speaker 2: They beat Southeastern Louisiana one fifteen to twenty.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Six, one one five to six. Okay, good we won.
- 1:18Speaker 3: When I who is the team?
- 1:21Speaker 2: Uh? Southeastern? Yeah? All right? Good tries? Good tries? Yeah?
- 1:27Speaker 2: And uh, thirteen of the twenty six came in the
- 1:30Speaker 2: fourth quarter.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I got some basketball and women's basketball. There's a pretty
- 1:35Speaker 3: big gap.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Between the good ones and the not so good ones.
- 1:37Speaker 2: At halftime it was sixty one to six, sixty one
- 1:45Speaker 2: for the Tigers, six for the Lions. Sorry, Tje, what's up? Yeah?
- 1:53Speaker 3: All right, good, we got a good squad. What's the
- 1:57Speaker 3: point in that game?
- 2:00Speaker 2: In state game? Like, yeah, but you're not getting any better?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Well you ramp up, ramp up to.
- 2:05Speaker 3: What I would say, that gets you worse than just
- 2:08Speaker 3: scrimmage in yourself.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Nah? All right, Southeast was one to no coming into
- 2:13Speaker 2: the game. Did elis Did we get worse yesterday?
- 2:17Speaker 4: No?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Didn't got better?
- 2:18Speaker 3: I think so if you're either getting better or you're
- 2:21Speaker 3: getting worse, you ain't saying the same. Look, so we
- 2:26Speaker 3: got better in your opinion, Yeah, they got better than practice. Yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 3: play a game. Okay, I would say we got worse
- 2:39Speaker 3: because that's coaches talking. That's what coaches always tell you.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I never believed them. But you're either getting better you're
- 2:44Speaker 3: getting worse.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, coming up on their schedule, Okay, they're going
- 2:49Speaker 2: to face the number seven team in the country, twenty
- 2:53Speaker 2: four team in the country nineteen four, six, four, two,
- 2:57Speaker 2: twelve and eight.
- 2:58Speaker 3: So don't worry. Okay, they left leevorre opportunities. I wouldn't
- 3:02Speaker 3: I know they're going to play good teams. I get that.
- 3:04Speaker 3: I just made one simple comment. Did they get better,
- 3:07Speaker 3: they get worse? They got better? Shoutoutsch got better? Went
- 3:10Speaker 3: about eighty nine points?
- 3:11Speaker 2: Ye, can't help the other team didn't play good. You're
- 3:14Speaker 2: the reason they played bad. Oh my gosh. So I
- 3:19Speaker 2: don't know if the Saints have scored eighty nine points
- 3:20Speaker 2: all year. As we transition to New Orleans, Saints talk
- 3:27Speaker 2: want to do that? Yeah, getting ready to take on
- 3:29Speaker 2: the Carolina Panthers.
- 3:30Speaker 3: All right, Panthers winning record.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Pers.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I think they had one hundred yards passing against the
- 3:37Speaker 3: Packers and beat them.
- 3:39Speaker 2: The Saints did make a roster move, Rodrick guessima Is
- 3:42Speaker 2: added to their active roster. Was with Denver played a
- 3:47Speaker 2: Notre dame. You've probably got a lot of his rookie cards. Actually,
- 3:52Speaker 2: sure the reason why?
- 3:53Speaker 3: You know, purple shocks and bass cards. Yeah, yeah, I
- 3:59Speaker 3: knew that name.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Sounded familiar when you said it, yep. I actually I
- 4:03Speaker 2: was surprised he got to let go in Denver. I
- 4:05Speaker 2: thought he had a couple of moments. But they signed JK. Dobbins.
- 4:08Speaker 2: They drafted Harvey out of U C F and so
- 4:11Speaker 2: he was.
- 4:12Speaker 3: You think it'll be as productive as the other Denver
- 4:14Speaker 3: Bronco we got on the roster.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Now, I don't know that you can expect thirty nine
- 4:19Speaker 2: yards from him. I mean they as right at forty yards.
- 4:24Speaker 2: My guy, I mean, were you kidding me? Yeah, okay, Yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 2: he's gonna go for it.
- 4:30Speaker 3: He's gonna double that number this week. Okay, that's Panthers.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Yep. Yeah. The running back room, which felt like it
- 4:37Speaker 2: was a pretty good strength in training camp. You had ak,
- 4:41Speaker 2: you had Clyde, you had Cam Akers, you had Devin Neil,
- 4:46Speaker 2: you had Kendre Miller. Felt like a good strength for you.
- 4:48Speaker 2: And then all of a sudden, it's like Kansas City,
- 4:51Speaker 2: you let go of Clyde. I think Cam, I think
- 4:55Speaker 2: Cam's back, got he in La, He's he's with someone. Okay,
- 5:03Speaker 2: Kendre gets hurt. So like this running back room that
- 5:06Speaker 2: you thought was actually gonna have some pretty good depth,
- 5:08Speaker 2: Like you move on from some players and then kN
- 5:10Speaker 2: Dre is out for the year, and all of a sudden.
- 5:12Speaker 3: It's like you got yep out and Kamara is like
- 5:17Speaker 3: a shadow of himself right down a little bit too.
- 5:20Speaker 3: So yeah, all right, this is I mean, you get
- 5:24Speaker 3: a guy.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Was he now? Was he released? He was a straight
- 5:27Speaker 2: cut from Denver? Yeah? Yeah? And was he a waiver move? No,
- 5:32Speaker 2: he's been he's been. Uh he's been out for a minute.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Yeah all right, Well I feel all right. But we
- 5:38Speaker 2: got shuck spark. We got that spark.
- 5:43Speaker 3: But like the like is it's this is one of
- 5:45Speaker 3: those games that you had to have circled at the
- 5:47Speaker 3: beginning of the season. That was one of the one
- 5:49Speaker 3: of the.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Games that any of the games against Panthers that the
- 5:52Speaker 2: Saints could pull off, and they still can. Yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Uh, it's just because they beat the Packers doesn't mean
- 5:58Speaker 3: they're a good football team. Just because they have a
- 6:01Speaker 3: winning record doesn't mean they're a good NFL football team.
- 6:04Speaker 3: They've won some games that they probably shouldn't have. They've
- 6:07Speaker 3: listened games, and good.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Teams find a way and bad teams find a way.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Don't listen to this man. Good teams find a way
- 6:15Speaker 2: to win games, and bad teams find a way to lose.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I'm just a little bitter from the pack I can
- 6:20Speaker 2: tell to them they handed in that game. Okay.
- 6:23Speaker 3: I think the Saints might pick Bryce Young off four
- 6:25Speaker 3: times this week. Good Chuck might throw for one hundred
- 6:30Speaker 3: and forty five yards, no touchdowns, one interception, but win.
- 6:37Speaker 2: How do you feel about that? How about how do
- 6:39Speaker 2: you feel like? I feel like? How do you feel
- 6:41Speaker 2: Spencer Rattler still has two or more passing yards in
- 6:43Speaker 2: Bryce s Young? He didn't start last Kame, I know
- 6:47Speaker 2: you're serious injury, but yeah, that's just gonna tell you
- 6:51Speaker 2: where Bryce Young is. Uh, the Carolina can run the football. Uh,
- 6:56Speaker 2: if Downell's able to go and he's questionable, they you know,
- 7:00Speaker 2: it hasn't mattered. It's been Chuba Hubbard or if it's
- 7:03Speaker 2: been Rico, they've been able to run the football. Tetero
- 7:07Speaker 2: McMillan has been really good, certainly when you consider Bryce
- 7:11Speaker 2: Young is throwing him the football. Yeah, right now he's
- 7:13Speaker 2: got forty one catches, five hundred and fifty eight yards,
- 7:16Speaker 2: only two touchdowns. Again, offense just not great there for Carolina,
- 7:21Speaker 2: but he is doing his part.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Lorigo Daldell, he has been playing like the animal this year.
- 7:29Speaker 3: He came out of obviously not out of nowhere, but
- 7:31Speaker 3: like he's come out of nowhere to be at the
- 7:34Speaker 3: level that he has. Like he's been pretty much the
- 7:37Speaker 3: engine that's making that offense. Go, it's not Bryce Young,
- 7:41Speaker 3: I mean McMillan, like he just said, it's having a
- 7:42Speaker 3: really good rookie year. Their other receiver, Lagette obviously not
- 7:46Speaker 3: having the year I thought he was going to have.
- 7:48Speaker 3: But Daldell has kept them relevant on offense, running with
- 7:52Speaker 3: great vision, running with great power.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Speed, Like he's he's the whole package. He's everything.
- 7:56Speaker 3: He's like, he's like the new version of the Christian
- 7:59Speaker 3: McCaffrey for the Panthers right now, just kind of doing
- 8:01Speaker 3: everything for them. And there he's putting the putting that
- 8:04Speaker 3: offense on his back as much as he can. And
- 8:07Speaker 3: they've they've benefited from just good, clean, sound football. Nothing
- 8:11Speaker 3: real special, nothing real spectacular.
- 8:14Speaker 2: They're just a competent NFL.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Football team that is going to stay in a game,
- 8:18Speaker 3: and if you don't play your best game, they can
- 8:20Speaker 3: beat you.
- 8:21Speaker 2: They could certainly beat the Saints.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, hell, why did you say like that?
- 8:26Speaker 2: Dude? Me, you and Cassie could go out there right
- 8:28Speaker 2: now and put on a uniform and be competitive against
- 8:31Speaker 2: the Saints. Yeah right, Well, that end of that score,
- 8:36Speaker 2: it looked like an l s U women's basketball game
- 8:38Speaker 2: score on our side. Uh So, Rigo dalla is uh
- 8:44Speaker 2: As I said, questionable for the game, but he was
- 8:47Speaker 2: limited in practice on Thursday. Typically, if you're limited on Thursday,
- 8:50Speaker 2: it's a good sound that you're playing in the game.
- 8:52Speaker 2: So we'll keep up with that because if he's going,
- 8:55Speaker 2: I take him in fantasy. What do you mean take
- 9:00Speaker 2: him in fantasy? If he's going, it is pretty impressive
- 9:04Speaker 2: that everybody knows they want to run and they still
- 9:07Speaker 2: can't stop it. I know, Carolina, but he's on the
- 9:10Speaker 2: injury report. He's on the injury report, but he's limited
- 9:14Speaker 2: on Wednesday and Thursday.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Oh, that's fine. That's running backs mid season. They're limited.
- 9:19Speaker 2: That's true. That's true. I wonder how much longer Carolina
- 9:22Speaker 2: like tries to make Bryce Young work. Hmmm, well, stay
- 9:29Speaker 2: with a winning record, they're just sure. But I know
- 9:32Speaker 2: it's just there's just something that's not there. Now.
- 9:34Speaker 3: He looks fine. I don't wol never say it looks great.
- 9:38Speaker 3: But he looks fine for a lot. But then like
- 9:40Speaker 3: that one Picky three like it when she says, hey, Matt,
- 9:43Speaker 3: how do I look? And you say fine. Shouldn't love it? Yeah,
- 9:47Speaker 3: I'll tell you that she shouldn't love it. Just wondering.
- 9:51Speaker 3: But he dows that one pick against Lamba last like
- 9:54Speaker 3: in the end zone. It's like he's running fade route.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Those are the corner of the end zone. He throws
- 9:59Speaker 3: it like ten yards into the field. It just gets
- 10:01Speaker 3: picked by the safety on that red zone. Fade route
- 10:05Speaker 3: like that can't happen, like think like things like that.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Just that's not a professional football play. But I hope
- 10:12Speaker 3: they I hope he gets great because I got a
- 10:13Speaker 3: really nice cart of his.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I got a lot. You got a lot, Well, you
- 10:17Speaker 2: got a lot because yeah Memphis like non Carolina. Yeah,
- 10:20Speaker 2: I got one just for you know, an investment piece. Hey,
- 10:25Speaker 2: you might need to move that while they're five and
- 10:27Speaker 2: four and if they go six and four because they
- 10:30Speaker 2: beat the Saints.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Yeah, now look they they ended the season playing really well.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Last year on offense, Bryce was playing well. They're gonna
- 10:38Speaker 3: pick it up.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I did not think that we would be here in
- 10:42Speaker 2: November talking about the five and four Panthers, and even
- 10:46Speaker 2: though one in eight Saints did not have it playing
- 10:49Speaker 2: out this way. But that's where we're at. Carolina five
- 10:52Speaker 2: and a half point favorite, a sixty five point eight
- 10:54Speaker 2: percent chance to win this game. It's gonna be It's crazy.
- 10:58Speaker 2: It's gonna be a tough test for New Orleans to
- 11:01Speaker 2: beat Carolina. I just yeah, even if you'd have told
- 11:05Speaker 2: me these were flipped, I I maybe even believe you more.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I didn't have the highest of hopes for the Saints.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I did not think it was going to be one
- 11:12Speaker 2: in eight. They've given up two hundred and forty three
- 11:15Speaker 2: points on the year, They've only scored one hundred and
- 11:18Speaker 2: thirty eight. That might be the worst point difference in
- 11:24Speaker 2: the National Football League. I would be shocked if anybody
- 11:27Speaker 2: else was worse. Even the Jets look.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Saints not a good football team even, you know, worse
- 11:35Speaker 3: than we could have imagined. I think. But they do
- 11:38Speaker 3: have that one win. Can't take that away from us.
- 11:42Speaker 3: I think we're all looking forward. Do you think they'll
- 11:43Speaker 3: they'll flex that Jets game in the December flex it
- 11:46Speaker 3: a Sunday night. That's a friends and family game, Bud, No,
- 11:50Speaker 3: that's going to be an electric game.
- 11:52Speaker 2: That's a friends and family game. The first overall pick game. Oh,
- 11:55Speaker 2: that is true. That's it flexed to see you guess
- 11:57Speaker 2: the first overall pick. That is true. Do you have
- 12:01Speaker 2: confidence that Mickey wouldn't make the right choice.
- 12:03Speaker 3: No, no, of course not, but it's still gonna be
- 12:05Speaker 3: fun to talk about. Yeah, who's going to accidentally win
- 12:08Speaker 3: this game? Are you gonna the running backs? Gonna be
- 12:14Speaker 3: like running and like taking the at the one.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I don't know if you get close to good?
- 12:18Speaker 3: No situation, coach is the first quarter? Yeah yeah, no
- 12:21Speaker 3: mind no no touchdowns?
- 12:22Speaker 2: But god that you'd have. You got to pay me
- 12:24Speaker 2: to watch that game. All right, we will step away
- 12:28Speaker 2: more ot B when we come back. Your way live
- 12:31Speaker 2: from Rous's on Burbank and lee off the bench. All right,

- 13:53Speaker 5: Like the legend of the Phoenix, all ends with the beginning,
- 14:02Speaker 5: what keeps the planet sinning us from the beginning?
- 14:12Speaker 2: Come to far.
- 14:28Speaker 1: From the locker room to the airwaves. It's off the
- 14:31Speaker 1: bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Hello, Hey, what's up? Hi, Let's go let's go around
- 14:50Speaker 2: to I'm saying Stark Man. We were just talking during
- 14:54Speaker 2: the break, y'all. It's tough. It's just not inspiring it
- 14:59Speaker 2: to talk about that team right now.
- 15:00Speaker 3: I don't know if there's anything left to say, really, right, Yeah.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I let me tell you something. I despise take tank
- 15:10Speaker 2: for a number one pick talk. I hate it. It's
- 15:12Speaker 2: not my DNA, And I hate the fact that that's
- 15:15Speaker 2: probably where the conversation's headed. Because if you play a
- 15:21Speaker 2: game or half of this, any level, be it peewee,
- 15:24Speaker 2: middle school, high school, college, professional, a, no way in
- 15:29Speaker 2: hell you're supposed to go out there and not want
- 15:31Speaker 2: to win with everything that you have. So if Matt
- 15:35Speaker 2: wants to have that discussion, I'm gonna let him talk
- 15:37Speaker 2: about it. This Matt, this one next to me me, Yeah,
- 15:40Speaker 2: about tanking? Well, you know what I'm saying, like number
- 15:42Speaker 2: one pick game and oh no, I can't.
- 15:45Speaker 3: I don't even care about the number one pick, like
- 15:48Speaker 3: how many number one picks?
- 15:49Speaker 2: Like really pan out? But what I do care about?
- 15:52Speaker 2: I mean, do you think Mickey pan out? Has he
- 15:55Speaker 2: ever had one? No Saints? Maybe he's just been waiting
- 15:59Speaker 2: on that to catch us the Saints. Did we talk
- 16:01Speaker 2: about this? The Saints have never had one? Uh? Interesting,
- 16:06Speaker 2: Sam a recent fans, so I wouldn't have known that
- 16:08Speaker 2: you played for him. Yeah, but I didn't like them
- 16:11Speaker 2: when you played for him. I mean you don't like.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I mean you don't like. They're not like a fan
- 16:14Speaker 2: of the team you played for. You just you're planning
- 16:16Speaker 2: to win. Do you like the Backers? Love the Packers? Okay,
- 16:21Speaker 2: I don't like the Raiders, that's true. Well that's the Raiders.
- 16:24Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not a fan of the Seahawks, the Raiders,
- 16:26Speaker 2: the Bills. That's fair, that's Fair's fair. I'm not a
- 16:29Speaker 2: fan of the Broncos. Yeah, that's fair. It's not like
- 16:32Speaker 2: I'm not a fan. I'm thankful for the time. And
- 16:34Speaker 2: you played in Green Bay longer than you played any team. Serious.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yet I played for the Chargers longer than I played
- 16:40Speaker 2: for any team in my life.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I hate speaking of the Broncos. Are they the
- 16:44Speaker 3: worst eight and two team? We've seen it in a while?
- 16:48Speaker 3: They won last night ten to seven versus the Raiders.
- 16:51Speaker 2: The Saints have had the number one overall pick once?
- 16:55Speaker 2: Could they take it? Was the Expansion Draft their first year.
- 16:59Speaker 2: They took slash fullback Les Kelly out of Alabama and
- 17:03Speaker 2: says they took a fullback.
- 17:05Speaker 3: That's what this says was Mickey the GM Maybe, so,
- 17:11Speaker 3: do you think we had a number one pick? He's
- 17:12Speaker 3: taking a left guard or defensive tackle. What's the punter situation,
- 17:18Speaker 3: backup linebacker?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yeah, the other highest pick they've had, number two overall
- 17:25Speaker 2: Archie Manning and number five overall George Rogers running back
- 17:28Speaker 2: South Carolina.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Okay, cool, sorry, go ahead Broncos Thursday Night football. That's
- 17:37Speaker 3: actually a football game. I got to watch.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yeah, great uniform matchup.
- 17:41Speaker 3: It was so good man. The throwbacks this year have
- 17:43Speaker 3: been hitting. I talked about this was my weekend winter
- 17:46Speaker 3: last week was this the throwback uniforms. It looks so
- 17:49Speaker 3: good man, it looks so good. Now everyone needs to
- 17:51Speaker 3: go to that full time. Yeah, it's it looks really great.
- 17:54Speaker 3: It's better, way better than the dark blue stuff.
- 17:58Speaker 2: But are they the worst eight and two team that
- 18:01Speaker 2: in a while in the NFL.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Yeah, they're tough to watch. Offensively, they're tough to watch.
- 18:05Speaker 3: They're not a fun watch. Bo nix Is has regressed.
- 18:08Speaker 3: I feel like, yeah, you thought one more year, you know,
- 18:11Speaker 3: going into second year you and with quarterbacks in the
- 18:14Speaker 3: NFL usually see you want to see a big jump
- 18:17Speaker 3: from year one to year two because that's the year
- 18:19Speaker 3: that most quarterbacks can make their biggest jump that they'll
- 18:23Speaker 3: have in their career in the NFL, and you think,
- 18:25Speaker 3: just you know, when were you under Sean Payton, it
- 18:27Speaker 3: would look great. It's just for whatever reason, not clicking
- 18:29Speaker 3: on offense. Their defense is fantastic. Defense is phenomenal, and
- 18:34Speaker 3: they play a struggling Raiders that's two and seven. They're
- 18:37Speaker 3: they're they've been far far from anything inspiring from the
- 18:42Speaker 3: Raiders all year. I mean they're talking about, you know,
- 18:44Speaker 3: is Pete Carroll gonna get fired, you know, his first year,
- 18:48Speaker 3: and they kind of went all in. They brought in
- 18:50Speaker 3: They brought in Pete Carroll, they brought in Gino Smith
- 18:51Speaker 3: like they have they they brought in these parts thinking
- 18:53Speaker 3: that this might be a pretty you know, a.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Chance this year at least to be really relevant.
- 18:59Speaker 3: And the Roncas go out and at home they barely
- 19:02Speaker 3: beat them in an absolute defensive struggle, absolute snooze of
- 19:06Speaker 3: a game to watch. Really, Like I was trying to
- 19:08Speaker 3: watch it. There was things happening at the house, you know, kids,
- 19:11Speaker 3: we had a bunch of homework and a bunch of
- 19:13Speaker 3: stuff happening at the house. That's so I didn't get
- 19:15Speaker 3: to like tune in. I just saw a bunch of punts.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I saw a lot of some block punts I saw
- 19:20Speaker 3: special teams was bad. Defense was good? But was it
- 19:24Speaker 3: was it? Was it the result of defenses playing really
- 19:29Speaker 3: well or result of lacklesser offensive schemes, poor quarterback play,
- 19:35Speaker 3: offensive line play. I don't know really what it was,
- 19:37Speaker 3: but it didn't make for a great watch.
- 19:39Speaker 2: We've had some really great Thursday night football games this
- 19:41Speaker 2: year too, Yeah, really great. Oh yeah, that certainly did
- 19:45Speaker 2: not hit the mark for me. But the Denver Broncos
- 19:49Speaker 2: somehow are sitting at eight and two, one of the
- 19:52Speaker 2: best records in the NFL by and they lead a
- 19:58Speaker 2: division that's got two other good teams at right too. Now,
- 20:01Speaker 2: the Chargers did beat Denver head to head, and so
- 20:04Speaker 2: they would right now if they can find a way
- 20:07Speaker 2: to even hope they would have the tigh record. They
- 20:10Speaker 2: still have another game as well. I think that was
- 20:12Speaker 2: going to be in Denver. But it looks like people's incredible,
- 20:15Speaker 2: don't get me wrong. Yeah, look some of these scorers
- 20:17Speaker 2: that the Broncos have had. They beat the Raiders yesterday
- 20:20Speaker 2: ten to seven. The week before that, they beat the Texans,
- 20:23Speaker 2: who are struggling struggle.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Bus they beat the Texans eighteen to fifteen. I think
- 20:27Speaker 3: they got lucky on that one too, if I'm remembering correctly,
- 20:30Speaker 3: with maybe a block field goal or something. They beat
- 20:34Speaker 3: the Cowboys pretty good, forty four to twenty four. The
- 20:36Speaker 3: Giants had beat by one point. They beat the Jets
- 20:39Speaker 3: thirteen to eleven. So have they had some of the
- 20:42Speaker 3: most unsexy scorers and unseexy games. They beat the Jets
- 20:46Speaker 3: thirteen to eleven. They beat the Raiders ten to seven.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Now they're finding ways to win, which is a winning
- 20:51Speaker 3: culture on that team. But it's a mark of like,
- 20:54Speaker 3: you know, I thought that Sean Payton being one more
- 20:56Speaker 3: year established bo Nicks a really good first rounder last
- 20:59Speaker 3: year showed a lot of flashes high expectations on him
- 21:02Speaker 3: having one more year under Sean Payton's offense, I thought
- 21:05Speaker 3: that they would be rocking and rolling a little bit more.
- 21:08Speaker 3: I mean, the they trade off their dominant Veley receiver
- 21:11Speaker 3: because they had so that they had such a so
- 21:14Speaker 3: many weapons.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Take this guy off our hands.
- 21:19Speaker 3: So I figured they're kind of at least somewhat cocky.
- 21:22Speaker 3: But yeah, but they're playing great defense. They do have
- 21:24Speaker 3: a winning culture, so they're finding ways to win, and
- 21:26Speaker 3: that's what teams.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Good teams do.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Kind of like, I guess to go back to the
- 21:32Speaker 3: Saint Star from last night, we kind of like how
- 21:34Speaker 3: the Panthers are finally to win even though it's not
- 21:35Speaker 3: looking good, and the Broncos are way better than the Panthers.
- 21:38Speaker 2: They don't get me wrong, but I don't know. You
- 21:42Speaker 2: can't give yourself over like it's okay that they beat
- 21:44Speaker 2: the Packers, My guy, it's okay. No, it's not. Yeah,
- 21:48Speaker 2: it's not Bud. Yeah, the Packers when they played good
- 21:51Speaker 2: teams really good, when they play bad teams really bad.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they're gonna they're gonna go back to back beat
- 21:55Speaker 3: the Packers and the Saints. I'm a New Saints fans, true,
- 21:59Speaker 3: but your grave right now feels like it they are.
- 22:03Speaker 3: It feels like they're mocking.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Me out of the AFC. Do you have a leader
- 22:09Speaker 2: in the clubhouse?
- 22:13Speaker 3: I mean it was the Colts before last week, the
- 22:17Speaker 3: Colts Chargers. I mean, I know, the Bills just beat
- 22:20Speaker 3: the Chiefs, but the Chiefs will remain.
- 22:23Speaker 2: The leader of the clubhouse until somebody pre third in
- 22:26Speaker 2: their own division. Right now, I get it, I got it.
- 22:31Speaker 2: They just lost the Bills. They've also got a three
- 22:33Speaker 2: Super Bowls I've been there.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Started. I was like, the well, the way they started
- 22:37Speaker 3: out the season, it was like, man, that bold prediction
- 22:39Speaker 3: is coming right. They ain't making the playoffs this year.
- 22:42Speaker 2: But still okay because you got Look, you got the
- 22:44Speaker 2: Patriots and the Bills. Then you've got the North and
- 22:48Speaker 2: thankful for them. The North is horrid. It looks like
- 22:51Speaker 2: Pittsburgh's going unless Baltimore makes a run with Lamar coming back.
- 22:55Speaker 2: But you got the Colts. The Jags right now have
- 22:58Speaker 2: a better record than Kansas City. Then you've got Denver
- 23:01Speaker 2: in LA in the West as well, So we'll see,
- 23:05Speaker 2: we'll see. I mean, the Chiefs need to still pick
- 23:07Speaker 2: it up if they want to get there. Yeah, they
- 23:10Speaker 2: do need to pick it up. But this is now.
- 23:13Speaker 3: We are in November, we are getting towards the holiday season,
- 23:16Speaker 3: which that just means is Chiefs time. I feel like
- 23:19Speaker 3: I know, I know, And like when I started my
- 23:22Speaker 3: quarterback rankings a couple of weeks ago, I had Patrick
- 23:24Speaker 3: Mahomes are the top five, but like like five.
- 23:26Speaker 2: But they've now they showed one game where I was like, Okay,
- 23:29Speaker 2: that's them. They're back.
- 23:31Speaker 3: He's doing his thing again, and he jumped up to
- 23:34Speaker 3: one now number two. But in the AFC, I think
- 23:38Speaker 3: until they get unseated, it doesn't matter. If you beat
- 23:42Speaker 3: them in the regular season, Bills, it doesn't matter because
- 23:46Speaker 3: they've been to three Super Bowls in a row, which
- 23:51Speaker 3: is unheard of. Yeah, okay, well we'll see. Is it
- 23:53Speaker 3: three in rows? Five AFC championships in a row?
- 23:57Speaker 2: They go every year?
- 23:58Speaker 3: Yeah, so you you better keep him out of the playoffs.
- 24:02Speaker 2: I'll just say that when you look over the NFC
- 24:06Speaker 2: Eagles leader in the East, the North is going to
- 24:09Speaker 2: be highly competitive. You got the Packers, the Lions, and
- 24:11Speaker 2: the Bears all right there together. In Minnesota's four and
- 24:14Speaker 2: four early in a game, really off of those teams
- 24:17Speaker 2: under the Packers had the tie, so they technically are
- 24:20Speaker 2: the leader there. The South at Tampa and yeah, Carolina,
- 24:25Speaker 2: But what about the West. You got Seattle, the Rams
- 24:30Speaker 2: and the Niners six and two, six and two, six
- 24:33Speaker 2: and three.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Yeah, the NFC West has become the best conference or
- 24:44Speaker 3: the best division in the NFC, which is wild because
- 24:47Speaker 3: the North is so stacked. The Packers, who knows who
- 24:50Speaker 3: they are? The Vikings have been fine. They had Carson
- 24:53Speaker 3: Wentz playing. What is JJ McCarthy really The lie. His
- 24:56Speaker 3: alter ego is nine.
- 24:58Speaker 2: He says when he makes the the game base in
- 25:01Speaker 2: the locker room, he said, that's nine. That's not JJ McCarthy.
- 25:05Speaker 2: I swear to God the number, like that's his number
- 25:09Speaker 2: that he wears. He said, that's that's who that is.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Oh that's nine. Okay, yeah, yeah. It gives you this
- 25:15Speaker 2: feeling when nine shows up. That's what you feel about nine. Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 25:23Speaker 2: that's how I feel about nine. No, it's just JJ
- 25:26Speaker 2: jge just telling you this man said, when you see that,
- 25:30Speaker 2: that's nine.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Well, anyway, the NFC West, I think the Seattle Seahawks
- 25:36Speaker 3: are the real deal Los Angeles Rams, they're the real
- 25:40Speaker 3: deal San Francisco Niners. I mean, you talk about a
- 25:42Speaker 3: winning culture that they've built. Does anybody sustained more injuries
- 25:46Speaker 3: than they have and sist and just kept on winning
- 25:49Speaker 3: and don't look now? But is eric quarterback controversy in
- 25:53Speaker 3: San Francisco? Yeah, they got former myster irrelevant Brock Party
- 25:57Speaker 3: who's been injured.
- 25:57Speaker 2: He has had a little turf toe this season.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Is it one of those things where they're going to
- 26:01Speaker 3: stretch that injury out a little bit, a little soft benching,
- 26:03Speaker 3: Like we just saw with Kyler Murray. Yeah, because Mac Jones.
- 26:07Speaker 3: I mean that guy talk about.
- 26:09Speaker 2: A a glow up, this resurrection, a little resurrection, a
- 26:14Speaker 2: glow up at the quarterback position, a guy that was
- 26:16Speaker 2: ridden off for dead, a guy that was like, Wow,
- 26:19Speaker 2: this guy's a bad bust. You saw that.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Pit kept seeing the pictures come across with the bad
- 26:22Speaker 3: body Mac Jones, and the off season was shirt off.
- 26:25Speaker 2: I mean this, he's still a BBG, he's still yeah,
- 26:28Speaker 2: he is a BBG. But like the guy's playing winning football.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and he is on my bubble list for
- 26:34Speaker 2: a top a top ten quarterback.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Then for right now, just because he's winning, doing everything right.
- 26:40Speaker 3: I mean, what a system. Well, I mean, dude, don't
- 26:41Speaker 3: apologize for being in a good offense ever, apologize.
- 26:44Speaker 2: For that, because you've been in some bad ones if
- 26:46Speaker 2: you're Mac Jones exactly.
- 26:47Speaker 3: So he's getting an opportunity and like, if they keep winning,
- 26:50Speaker 3: how do you insert a brock perty back into it,
- 26:52Speaker 3: who hadn't played football in two months.
- 26:53Speaker 2: You can't. You can't do it. You can't do it. So,
- 26:57Speaker 2: like they we've seen this situation play out in the
- 26:59Speaker 2: NFL like tons of times. Now I'm not comparing it
- 27:01Speaker 2: to Drew Blutsoe and Tom Brady because tom Brady went
- 27:04Speaker 2: to be the greatest ever. But that's why Drew bludso
- 27:06Speaker 2: when he got healthy, he didn't get inserted back in
- 27:08Speaker 2: the line up because tom Brady was winning. Yep. So
- 27:10Speaker 2: it's like we can't they didn't know that he was
- 27:13Speaker 2: the gat No had no idea. So you're a player,
- 27:15Speaker 2: second year player.
- 27:16Speaker 3: So you know if you watch the Niners play and
- 27:19Speaker 3: on the sideline you see Rock Purdy like cheering for
- 27:21Speaker 3: first downs or touchdowns, you can I can rush to share.
- 27:24Speaker 3: He doesn't mean it because he's cheering against his own team.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Right now, Wait a minute, you don't think this man
- 27:29Speaker 2: wants his team to win. Nope?
- 27:33Speaker 3: Come on, maybe he wants him to win the game
- 27:35Speaker 3: but not look great on offense.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Really you think that quarter yard different? All right?
- 27:41Speaker 3: You've told me plenty of times that you would rather
- 27:44Speaker 3: play the game on a losing team rather than not
- 27:47Speaker 3: play the game on a winning team.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I want to play because I want to help that
- 27:50Speaker 2: exactly what I just said. I don't want to lose.
- 27:53Speaker 2: But I just Chris, I will say quarterback. I say
- 27:55Speaker 2: quarterbacks are different because like me, and Mike Tolbert wrote
- 28:00Speaker 2: in the NFL and I was fired up for thirty
- 28:03Speaker 2: five every time he had a big run. That's a
- 28:05Speaker 2: different That's what I'm saying.
- 28:06Speaker 3: If Mac Jones keeps winning, he doesn't get to play football.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Okay, quarterbacks, I said, you're different weirdos. All right, we'll
- 28:15Speaker 2: take a break more OTB. Will we come back here

- 30:25Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever hit that one. Let's see.
- 30:29Speaker 2: I don't really like that was um that feels like
- 30:33Speaker 2: that feels very AFR like theme song, like entrance song
- 30:36Speaker 2: into the show. This one. Okay, we got here, Okay
- 30:44Speaker 2: got it? Spooky want wom cheers, cheers, AFR A f

- 31:09Speaker 3: we talk about our great sponsors.

- 31:40Speaker 2: Outdoor Living. Go to the website today, k t Z
- 31:43Speaker 2: Blinds dot Com. All right, let's go across some of
- 31:48Speaker 2: the landscape in college football. Will go some of the
- 31:52Speaker 2: ranked matchups that we have. Obviously we'll continue talking to
- 31:55Speaker 2: LSU and Alabama coming up here shortly, but let's go
- 31:58Speaker 2: across the country. How about a game that we thought
- 32:02Speaker 2: certainly would be Hey, probably game day part of all
- 32:07Speaker 2: of the conversation. Now it's still big noon kick, which
- 32:10Speaker 2: you know how they do it in the Big Ten.
- 32:11Speaker 2: They love their matchups before brunch, which is just it's
- 32:15Speaker 2: a choice.
- 32:16Speaker 3: They loving scrambled eggs and walking into a.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Stadium that they do, Derek, that they do. Number two
- 32:21Speaker 2: Indiana traveling to Penn State. Penn State three and five overall,
- 32:26Speaker 2: oho and five in the Big Ten, Indiana nine and
- 32:31Speaker 2: oh six and oh in the Big Ten. Yep, pretty good.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Football teamh We'll look at their last five games here.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Lost Ohio State thirty eight fourteen, Penn State did, lost
- 32:40Speaker 3: to Iowa, lost to Northwestern, lost to UCLA, who loses
- 32:46Speaker 3: to Ucla the Maryland and of course they lost to
- 32:49Speaker 3: Oregon in Penn State and in a great game.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're like, all right, that's a quality loss
- 32:55Speaker 2: right there. So you at least look good. You have
- 32:57Speaker 2: the fan base.
- 32:58Speaker 3: And they go to LA to play the second LA
- 33:00Speaker 3: team also, so they're on a five game that kid,
- 33:03Speaker 3: and then you kind of look, of course, undefeated Indiana.
- 33:06Speaker 2: They just beat Maryland. They beat U c. L A
- 33:08Speaker 2: fifty six to six. So if we're comparing, I think
- 33:13Speaker 2: even go back to the Illinois game where Illinois was
- 33:15Speaker 2: ranked top ten. Now, of course they only scored. They
- 33:20Speaker 2: scored like fifty plus on everybody except Iowah, guess Iowa,
- 33:25Speaker 2: same team, Iowa. What we say yesterday, Rinz Wash repeat,
- 33:29Speaker 2: George Kittle, Matt Roth, Jack Campbell.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Yeh, does Iowa feel like they probably have double digit
- 33:36Speaker 3: players that are playing their seventh year. Oh, they got
- 33:39Speaker 3: COVID probably two injuries.
- 33:41Speaker 2: They had to take two years off for farming.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Yeah, two years off for farm and you get farming credits.
- 33:46Speaker 3: I think they're for playing. Yeah, so they got they
- 33:49Speaker 3: they just felt like a team that have multiple guys
- 33:51Speaker 3: playing on their sixth, seventh, maybe even eighth Yearah.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Now, no, none of those guys are overly explosive. No no, no,
- 34:00Speaker 2: no no, but they are me nasty and tough that
- 34:03Speaker 2: they got concrete in their helmet. O god, Chad Greenway.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Yeah, let's say, all right, so Indiana, they beat Oregon
- 34:09Speaker 3: thirty to twenty, They beat Michigan State, they beat they've
- 34:13Speaker 3: they beat everybody.
- 34:14Speaker 2: But the Oregon game. Honestly, they could have it could
- 34:16Speaker 2: have been worse than and that was in Orgon. Yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Right, So from a if you're comparing records and comparing
- 34:24Speaker 3: recent history this game, I'm gonna get out of hand.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Yeah, and Indiana likes to suffocate teams when they know
- 34:34Speaker 2: there's blood and water.
- 34:35Speaker 3: And yeah, you don't anger, you don't have your quarterback,
- 34:36Speaker 3: albeit you have a young, good quarterback playing at Penn State.
- 34:40Speaker 3: You've already had your opportunity for an interim bump. It
- 34:42Speaker 3: didn't happen. So when you don't get that interim bump,
- 34:45Speaker 3: it just continues.
- 34:46Speaker 2: To slide like dump and oh boy, oh hell man,
- 34:53Speaker 2: what do you try there? We go?
- 34:55Speaker 3: Okay, so on the bad joke more like crickets. Yeah, okay,
- 35:02Speaker 3: but we know the coach in Indiana likes to put
- 35:04Speaker 3: it on yep, like in once he smells.
- 35:06Speaker 2: For US City.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Huh Yeah, we're overwhelming people with sound effects. I didn't
- 35:13Speaker 3: hit the crickets again. All right, sorry, go ahead. I
- 35:15Speaker 3: don't even know what I'm saying. Just to know that
- 35:17Speaker 3: their coach likes the he's not afraid to run up
- 35:19Speaker 3: the score. So this one could get ugly, and it
- 35:20Speaker 3: could get ugly fast.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Yeah. I like the totals fifteen and a half. I
- 35:24Speaker 2: like the over in this one, yeah by by Indiana. Yeah,
- 35:28Speaker 2: that's their that's their total. That's the actual total of
- 35:31Speaker 2: the game.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Yeah, that one's going fifty.
- 35:34Speaker 2: How about this one? Number five, Georgia traveling to Mississippi State.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Georgia a nine and a half point favorite on the road.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Mississippi State finally figured out how to close out a game.
- 35:46Speaker 2: They have been so close. They were leading Tennessee, they
- 35:49Speaker 2: were leading Texas with minutes left in the game. They
- 35:52Speaker 2: didn't win those games. They find a way to come
- 35:54Speaker 2: back against Arkansas. Mississippi State. Look, I mean they're gonna
- 35:58Speaker 2: win against Arizona State this year. It's a different Bulldog team.
- 36:01Speaker 2: This is going to be I think a close game
- 36:05Speaker 2: and then I think Georgia pull's way at the end. Yeah,
- 36:07Speaker 2: I mean you would think so.
- 36:08Speaker 3: You just look at me Smith say, And what's hard
- 36:11Speaker 3: when you turn around a program. You have to build
- 36:14Speaker 3: a winning culture, right, You have to understand how to win.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Every player on that team has to expect to win.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Of course, there's got to be the right play call.
- 36:21Speaker 3: You've got to make the plays. But it's a mindset, right,
- 36:24Speaker 3: It's a mindset of like the winning teams you get
- 36:26Speaker 3: on that find ways to win at the end, they
- 36:28Speaker 3: all have the mindset like you never believe you're going
- 36:30Speaker 3: to lose a game at any point, whether you're down
- 36:32Speaker 3: by one or you're down by one hundred, right, Like
- 36:35Speaker 3: you always have that mindset and like I know, we
- 36:37Speaker 3: go back to like our playing days all the time.
- 36:38Speaker 3: But like in O seven we were down, like we
- 36:40Speaker 3: had so many close games, but like from the mentality standpoint,
- 36:43Speaker 3: we never believe we were going to lose a game.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Right at any point National Championship, we were down to
- 36:49Speaker 3: nothing and we just looked at each other like this
- 36:51Speaker 3: is annoying, this is this is dumb.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Let's get back on any.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Point during the Florida game, at no point there is
- 36:56Speaker 3: a mindset that comes to it. And Georgia has that
- 36:59Speaker 3: mindset because they do that. That's the culture. Mississippi State
- 37:02Speaker 3: doesn't have that mindset yet. They're building it. But I
- 37:05Speaker 3: think once that starts, once you start winning, once you
- 37:08Speaker 3: start figuring it out all right, everybody starts working together
- 37:12Speaker 3: and having that belief and that confidence you start and
- 37:14Speaker 3: it's it's just believing that at any point.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Like we're not out of this game.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Like I think a lot of times when you're in
- 37:21Speaker 3: a losing program, it's like, oh here we go again.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Here we go again, Here we go again.
- 37:26Speaker 3: But when you start that, so, I think at some
- 37:28Speaker 3: point they're gonna figure it out.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I love what Jeff Lovey and them are doing.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I kind of joke about it, like him being my
- 37:32Speaker 3: guy at the time, because I didn't know his name
- 37:34Speaker 3: when I first started the show, But like he's doing
- 37:36Speaker 3: a really good job. And they've been in a lot
- 37:38Speaker 3: of games. They should have beat Texas. I wish they
- 37:40Speaker 3: would have. But yeah, I mean, Georgia's Georgia, right, They're
- 37:44Speaker 3: gonna do Georgia things, but they're not the same Georgia.
- 37:47Speaker 3: They're beatable, they're gettable, and Mississippi State has proven that
- 37:51Speaker 3: they can get anybody. They just haven't finished it off.
- 37:55Speaker 3: But they've been there until last week. Did they figure
- 37:58Speaker 3: out something? Did it start? Is it going to start
- 38:00Speaker 3: clicking with them? That beat Arkansas thirty thirty five, we'll see.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I think that's going to be a really good game.
- 38:06Speaker 3: And let's see what's the spread. Georgia nine and a
- 38:08Speaker 3: half point favorites this one.
- 38:12Speaker 2: I don't know. All right, let's go to number three
- 38:14Speaker 2: Texas A and M traveling to number twenty two Missouri,
- 38:17Speaker 2: Texas A and M six and a half point favorite
- 38:20Speaker 2: on the road in Como. Now, remember Missouri's two losses
- 38:25Speaker 2: three at home against Alabama and seven on the road
- 38:29Speaker 2: against Vanderbilt. And remember they threw a hell Mary to
- 38:33Speaker 2: the endzo like caught on what like the two yard liye,
- 38:37Speaker 2: So they had a chance in that game as well.
- 38:39Speaker 2: So Missouri does have two losses, but two close losses,
- 38:42Speaker 2: both against ranked football teams, one on the road and
- 38:45Speaker 2: one at home. Does Missouri give Texas A and M
- 38:51Speaker 2: a scare and have a way in a path to
- 38:54Speaker 2: win this game? Yeah? I don't.
- 38:55Speaker 3: I don't want to say this because y'all all know
- 38:58Speaker 3: my feelings on Missouri. They you know, they put Mazoo
- 39:01Speaker 3: with two z's on there. There's no z in the
- 39:05Speaker 3: word in Missouri. I just want you all to know
- 39:06Speaker 3: that zou this has the potential to be a I
- 39:12Speaker 3: don't want to say a trap game for Texas A
- 39:14Speaker 3: and M because Missouri is good. So I don't want
- 39:16Speaker 3: to like disrespect the Missouri football team by saying trap game.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Uh. But coming off of buy.
- 39:23Speaker 3: For Texas A and M after you just destroyed, you
- 39:26Speaker 3: just embarrassed, it's going to be one of those situations.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Mike Mike Elko's got a big job on his hand.
- 39:30Speaker 3: We'll see how good they can respond to a big victory,
- 39:33Speaker 3: because it is tough. Sometimes we're like, man, we just
- 39:35Speaker 3: beat LSU. We like we look how good we looked.
- 39:38Speaker 3: We took over Death Valley, we did all this stuff.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Look how good we are. Pat myself on the back.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Then you got to go on the road and play
- 39:44Speaker 3: a really dangerous team that likes that's got a great
- 39:46Speaker 3: running back. They got a great team. Now, I know
- 39:48Speaker 3: they're down a quarterback, but it's got a potential to
- 39:53Speaker 3: be a game where Missouri is gonna have an opportunity
- 39:55Speaker 3: to win it at the end. Now they've proven they've
- 39:57Speaker 3: been in they haven't got blown out. I mean they've
- 39:59Speaker 3: the two losses were tight, they could have won them.
- 40:01Speaker 3: But this is a potential where that A and M
- 40:03Speaker 3: they're gonna have to reset. We'll see how their coaching
- 40:05Speaker 3: staff does with that. I think it's gonna be a
- 40:08Speaker 3: great football game.
- 40:09Speaker 2: I think it's gonna be a little bit of an
- 40:10Speaker 2: old school game, gonna be a physical game. Looking forward
- 40:12Speaker 2: to seeing how Amon Hardy inserts himself into this game.
- 40:15Speaker 2: After LSU had some success running the football against the
- 40:19Speaker 2: Aggi's all right, we will step away, gonna continue breaking
- 40:21Speaker 2: down the slate in college football when we come back here.
- 40:25Speaker 2: It is OTB live from Rouses on Burbaconley off the bench,
- 40:30Speaker 2: all right, go to go Tommy's dot com. Eude G

- 41:50Speaker 4: you know, hearing what you say, but just can't make you.
- 41:59Speaker 4: Tell me about Sivin you go and commit down.

- 42:23Speaker 1: Rouge's go to for all things Louisiana sports.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Meger Landra killing it today. That's a great song, crushing
- 42:36Speaker 2: and heard that one the DJ in a minute, he Landra.
- 42:40Speaker 2: What would your DJ name be? They used to call
- 42:44Speaker 2: me a billy in school? Okay, Avilly?
- 42:49Speaker 1: I like that?
- 42:50Speaker 2: All right? Blank space? That's your middle name? All right, DJ,
- 42:56Speaker 2: blank space something? Okay, kind of two options already, we'll
- 43:00Speaker 2: see which one sticks. All right, let's continue down the slates.
- 43:06Speaker 2: College football, Yeah, sure, pick skim Oregon and Iowa Oregon
- 43:11Speaker 2: minus six and a half, Orgon number nine, Iowa twentieth
- 43:14Speaker 2: in the country. You like I would to cover when outright,
- 43:18Speaker 2: outright all right, sorry, Oregon, You're just not gritty enough.
- 43:25Speaker 2: I don't know. Have you seen Dan Landing? Okay, pretty
- 43:28Speaker 2: gritty because he does. He put a helmet on, you
- 43:30Speaker 2: can't remember. He feels like a coach at might at
- 43:33Speaker 2: some point in the like pregame meet up, you know,
- 43:36Speaker 2: fair Point. Does he have a concrete head? I don't know.
- 43:39Speaker 2: I know I was linebacker, don't even know who it is.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Probably does, though.
- 43:42Speaker 3: Thirty three years old gotta be starting linebacker. Three year
- 43:47Speaker 3: old farmer. Thirty three year old farmer.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Yeah, had the family farm for two hundred years. That's right.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Hey enrolled in college when he was thirty eight. Yeah,
- 43:55Speaker 2: Auburn traveling to number sixteen Vanderbilt Vanderbilt minus six and
- 44:00Speaker 2: a half. I like, I like Fandy in this one. Yeah,
- 44:04Speaker 2: I like coming back.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I mean they had so many emotional wins week after
- 44:09Speaker 3: week after week they come in and they just they
- 44:12Speaker 3: lay it dude. Man, they lay it dud in Texas.
- 44:15Speaker 2: And again they did. But like it's made us.
- 44:18Speaker 3: It's hard to do that each and every week, especially
- 44:22Speaker 3: when you're when you're Vandy and basically you were that's
- 44:26Speaker 3: your secret weapon is being able to out hustle, to
- 44:30Speaker 3: out emotion, to out execute from that level, just like
- 44:35Speaker 3: to be you got to be in it. And they
- 44:37Speaker 3: had so many emotional and it catches up to you.
- 44:38Speaker 3: It's a human it's a humans play in the sport.
- 44:41Speaker 3: And man did it. It caught up to them and
- 44:44Speaker 3: they just hit a hit a bus. All Texas was
- 44:45Speaker 3: ready and uh, but I see a bounce back. I
- 44:48Speaker 3: see an opportunity here, and I I really like Vanderbilting
- 44:53Speaker 3: this one.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Navy traveling to South Bend to take all the fighting Irish.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Not Dame a twenty six and a half point favorite
- 45:02Speaker 2: in this one. Notre Dame's best win is going to
- 45:08Speaker 2: be against number twenty USC and they're gonna get in
- 45:11Speaker 2: the college football playoff.
- 45:15Speaker 3: I don't know how you can do it this day
- 45:17Speaker 3: and age, but I hope there's some sort of recruiting
- 45:20Speaker 3: violation that comes through. YEA hope somebody at Notre Dame
- 45:23Speaker 3: gets no, you can't do that anymore.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but tampering maybe, I don't think, you know, I
- 45:30Speaker 2: don't think gambling gambling issues. I hope Notre Dame gets
- 45:33Speaker 2: it with gambling issues. Okay, that would be legit, maybe
- 45:38Speaker 2: seven to one, but keep it close, you know, twenty
- 45:41Speaker 2: six and a half, god like, Notre Dame's number ten
- 45:45Speaker 2: in the country right now. And they lost to Miami.
- 45:50Speaker 2: They lost to A and m. It's we don't have time.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Notre Dame is bad. We got college football off the bench.
