Latest / Beyond The Horizon / Mega Edition: The Chad Daybell Trial (Part 6) (10/19/26)
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the program. Yesterday
- 0:04Speaker 1: when we concluded with day number five, we still had
- 0:07Speaker 1: the FBI forensic accountant Michael Douglas on the stand. And
- 0:11Speaker 1: when the proceedings start today, he'll once again be taking
- 0:15Speaker 1: the stand. And what he's been trying to do is
- 0:18Speaker 1: recreate a profile, a forensic profile of Chad Daybell's finances
- 0:24Speaker 1: and how those finances are relevant as far as the
- 0:28Speaker 1: charges that he's been hit with. Today's article is from EastIdahoNews.com,
- 0:32Speaker 1: and the author of this article is Nate Eaton. 8.27 a.m.
- 0:37Speaker 1: We are back in the courtroom this morning. Chad Daybell
- 0:40Speaker 1: is wearing a checkered dress shirt with a golden yellow tie.
- 0:45Speaker 1: He's sitting next to his lawyer, John Pryor. Fremont County
- 0:48Speaker 1: Prosecuting Attorney Lindsey Blake, Madison County Prosecuting Attorney Rob Wood,
- 0:53Speaker 1: Fremont County Deputy Prosecutor Rocky Wixom, and Special Prosecutor Ingrid
- 0:58Speaker 1: Beatty are at the prosecution's table. 8.30 a.m. FBI forensic
- 1:04Speaker 1: accountant Michael Douglas will be back on the stand this morning.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Judge Boyce is on the bench and the jurors are
- 1:10Speaker 1: being brought in. 8.34 a.m. Wood is questioning Douglas. Douglas
- 1:16Speaker 1: explains he reviewed Venmo records in relation to Tylee and Lori.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Wood asked to admit a timeline of Venmo activity showing
- 1:25Speaker 1: Tylee's account and two accounts belonging to Lori. 8.37 a.m.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Wood shows the exhibit on the screen. Douglas says the
- 1:34Speaker 1: only funding source for Tylee's Venmo was her JPMorgan Chase
- 1:39Speaker 1: account until September 2019. From January 7th through August 7th,
- 1:45Speaker 1: her primary Venmo activity was to Colby Ryan, her older brother,
- 1:49Speaker 1: and Kelsey Benson, his girlfriend. Tylee also sent money on
- 1:53Speaker 1: Venmo one time to two of her friends. 8.39 a.m.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Tylee Venmo'd Colby four times during the seven-month period for
- 2:02Speaker 1: a total of $ 170. Douglas says, On September 10, 2019,
- 2:07Speaker 1: the funding source changed on the account, but Venmo activity continued. 8.40 a.m.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Tylee was killed on September 10. There were 29 payments
- 2:19Speaker 1: after September 10 to Colby Ryan, totaling over $ 5, 000. So
- 2:25Speaker 1: that's a whole hell of a lot of money. And
- 2:26Speaker 1: all of this money is being sent after Tylee was
- 2:29Speaker 1: already dead. So that means that Lori was sending that money.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And not only that, it's fraudulent for her to even
- 2:36Speaker 1: receive that money considering Tylee was no longer alive. So
- 2:40Speaker 1: that's the whole entire profile that they're building here and
- 2:43Speaker 1: the whole entire foundation that they're building these accusations upon. 8.42am
- 2:50Speaker 1: The next exhibit is an Etsy record showing a glow-in-the-dark
- 2:54Speaker 1: malachite ring was shipped to Lori Vallow, but the purchase
- 2:57Speaker 1: was refunded to Lori. Douglas is unclear why. Wood has
- 3:02Speaker 1: no further questions. Pryor will now cross-examine. 8.45 a.m. Pryor
- 3:08Speaker 1: asked Douglas why he showed an exhibit showing Chad purchased
- 3:11Speaker 1: a phone from Walmart. Douglas says he found it substantial
- 3:15Speaker 1: because of the continued pattern of the purchase of cell phones.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Pryor asked Douglas what type of phone was purchased. Douglas
- 3:23Speaker 1: says he can't recall, but says it's in his report.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Pryor asks if it was a disposable phone. Douglas says, sure,
- 3:30Speaker 1: and says the purchase was inexpensive. 8.47 a.m. Pryor asks Douglas,
- 3:37Speaker 1: if you were having an affair with another woman, buying
- 3:40Speaker 1: one of these phones would be an ideal way to
- 3:42Speaker 1: hide it from your spouse. Douglas responds, if you say so.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Pryor says, I didn't say so. I'm asking you. Douglas says, sure.
- 3:51Speaker 1: So what he's trying to do is have Douglas say
- 3:53Speaker 1: that to the jury, right? So it adds a little
- 3:57Speaker 1: bit of reasonable doubt. Why would Chad Daybell have a
- 4:00Speaker 1: cell phone that's a burner if he's not a criminal? Well,
- 4:03Speaker 1: it could be explained away because he has a gumad
- 4:06Speaker 1: on the side. That's what Pryor is trying to infer. Unfortunately,
- 4:12Speaker 1: all this other evidence leads us somewhere else. 8.48 a.m.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Pryor asks if Lori and Chad ever commingled their money.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Douglas says there is no indication of that. 8.49 a.m.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Pryor pulls up the exhibit showing Tylee's financial timeline. It
- 4:28Speaker 1: starts with April 3rd, 2018, the date of Joe Ryan's death.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Pryor asks if Chad knew Lori or Tylee at this time.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Douglas says there is no indication that they knew each other. 8.50 a.m.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Pryor moves along the timeline to other events in 2018.
- 4:46Speaker 1: He asks if Chad knew JJ, Tylee, or Lori At
- 4:50Speaker 1: this time, Douglas says no. Pryor points out Lori receiving
- 4:54Speaker 1: a life insurance policy from Joe Ryan on October 28th,
- 4:58Speaker 1: 2018 of over $ 64, 000. And again, trying to put some
- 5:04Speaker 1: distance between his client and Lori Vallow's BS. Look, Lori
- 5:08Speaker 1: Vallow's been up to this for years before she even
- 5:10Speaker 1: met my client. This is just who she is. And
- 5:14Speaker 1: Chad really was the victim of Lori Vallow. That looks
- 5:18Speaker 1: like the strategy that they're going to use here. 8.52 a.m.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Chad and Lori met on October 26, 2018, two days
- 5:29Speaker 1: before Lori got the life insurance payment. Pryor asked if
- 5:33Speaker 1: Lori was anticipating the life insurance check before she met Chad.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Douglas says Lori knew about the payment before she met Chad. 8.53 a.m.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Pryor reviews other events. He says Chad Daybell has nothing
- 5:47Speaker 1: to do with the transactions. You're not trying to imply
- 5:51Speaker 1: in this particular exhibit that Chad Daybell had anything to
- 5:54Speaker 1: do with Charles Vallow's death, are you? Douglas says he
- 5:57Speaker 1: built the timeline to show funding sources for Tylee. So again,
- 6:01Speaker 1: trying to muddy the waters a bit. And look, I
- 6:04Speaker 1: give Pryor credit. He's doing what he can, but it's
- 6:07Speaker 1: not going to be enough. There's just too much here
- 6:10Speaker 1: as far as evidence goes. For Chad Daybell... to even
- 6:14Speaker 1: have a chance of getting off. 8.55 a.m. Boyce reminds
- 6:19Speaker 1: Pryor and the witness not to talk over each other.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Pryor then talks over the judge and Boyce says, Mr. Pryor,
- 6:25Speaker 1: you just talked over me right now. Please do not
- 6:28Speaker 1: do that. Pryor apologizes. He asked to display an exhibit.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Just as a matter of general principle, probably not a
- 6:35Speaker 1: good idea to talk over the judge or get the
- 6:38Speaker 1: judge mad at you. 8.58 a.m. Pryor shows an exhibit
- 6:44Speaker 1: displaying JJ's financial timeline. He asks Douglas if Chad and
- 6:48Speaker 1: Lori ever talked financial matters before she texted Chad about
- 6:52Speaker 1: not getting the insurance money following Charles Vallow's death. Douglas
- 6:55Speaker 1: says he doesn't have any indication of that. 9 a.m.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Pryor confirms other details with Douglas from the timeline. He
- 7:04Speaker 1: asks if there are financial links between Chad and Lori
- 7:06Speaker 1: leading up to Tylee's death. Douglas says there are no
- 7:10Speaker 1: accounts linking them together. 9.02 a.m. Pryor asked Douglas about
- 7:15Speaker 1: the south-southwest wind noted on one of his exhibits and
- 7:20Speaker 1: says he finds it a little unusual to include that
- 7:22Speaker 1: on a financial timeline. The fact he checked the wind
- 7:25Speaker 1: isn't relevant to Tylee's financials, Pryor says. Douglas says it's
- 7:30Speaker 1: not relevant to the finances. Pryor asked why Douglas didn't
- 7:33Speaker 1: mention the fact Chad sent a text to his wife
- 7:36Speaker 1: that he was burning limbs the following morning. Douglas says
- 7:39Speaker 1: it's because he didn't discover that. Oh yeah, was that
- 7:43Speaker 1: after or before he was digging holes for graves for
- 7:47Speaker 1: dead raccoons that he shot? The whole entire narrative that
- 7:52Speaker 1: Stunad tried to pitch is nothing more than stupidity. 9.04 a.m.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Pryor asks Douglas if he's aware Lori temporarily relocated to
- 8:01Speaker 1: Hawaii around February 1st, 2019. Douglas says there are transactions
- 8:07Speaker 1: that support she was coming and going from Arizona to Hawaii.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Pryor asks, if she was coming and going, or if
- 8:14Speaker 1: she had relocated. Douglas says he cannot prove she relocated. 9.06 a.m.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Pryor asks Douglas if he knew JJ was with his
- 8:23Speaker 1: father while Lori was in Hawaii and mentions that Lori
- 8:27Speaker 1: was receiving Social Security money. Douglas says JJ was not
- 8:31Speaker 1: getting money at that time, only Tylee was due to
- 8:34Speaker 1: the death of her father. And Pryor continues to try
- 8:37Speaker 1: and put some distance here between Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell.
- 8:42Speaker 1: and certainly seems consistent with the theory that we had
- 8:45Speaker 1: earlier about him tossing Lori directly under the bus. That
- 8:50Speaker 1: looks to be the way to go here if you're
- 8:52Speaker 1: Chad Daybell, and certainly the strategy that Mr. Pryor seems
- 8:56Speaker 1: to be using. 9.07 a.m. Pryor asks about Tammy's life
- 9:01Speaker 1: insurance policies and says one of them was put in
- 9:03Speaker 1: place years ago. Douglas says that wouldn't surprise him. Douglas
- 9:08Speaker 1: says Tammy had $ 300, 000 in life insurance before she started
- 9:12Speaker 1: working at the school. Then she started at the school
- 9:15Speaker 1: and after a year, she increased her policy. 9.10 a.m.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Pryor asks Douglas if he knows who increased the life insurance.
- 9:23Speaker 1: He says he wasn't there. 9.12 a.m. Pryor asks about
- 9:27Speaker 1: the Malachite rings and the fact the order was cancelled.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Pryor asks Douglas if he looked into the size of
- 9:34Speaker 1: the wedding rings. The invoice said 8mm. Douglas says that
- 9:38Speaker 1: is the width, not the size. Pryor asks if Douglas
- 9:42Speaker 1: is aware that Alex Cox proposed marriage to Zulima Pastinas.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Douglas says he knows they got married, but doesn't know
- 9:50Speaker 1: when the marriage took place. And boy, do I have
- 9:52Speaker 1: my questions about Zulima. Now, I'm not saying she was
- 9:56Speaker 1: involved here, but how do you even believe this nonsense?
- 9:59Speaker 1: How do you get dog walked into it? I'm always
- 10:02Speaker 1: operating under the theory that the things I want to
- 10:05Speaker 1: be true are the things that I have to be
- 10:07Speaker 1: the most stringent when I'm looking at. Because if not,
- 10:11Speaker 1: then I'm doing nothing more than massaging my own bias.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And that's not going to get me anywhere because if
- 10:16Speaker 1: I'm looking to learn something, and if I'm looking to grow.
- 10:20Speaker 1: What it does, it just reaffirms that confirmation bias. So
- 10:23Speaker 1: the things that I want to be true, I am
- 10:26Speaker 1: always the most skeptical of as I'm looking into them.
- 10:29Speaker 1: So it's always bizarre as hell to me when people
- 10:32Speaker 1: end up going head over heels into a cult or
- 10:35Speaker 1: something like that. You know the old saying, if it's
- 10:38Speaker 1: too good to be true, it probably is. 9.14 a.m.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Pryor has no further questions for Douglas. Wood has a
- 10:46Speaker 1: brief redirect. He asks Douglas if he has seen pictures
- 10:50Speaker 1: of Chad and Lori's wedding. He says yes. Wood asks
- 10:53Speaker 1: what kind of rings they were wearing. Douglas says malachite rings.
- 10:58Speaker 1: And what that does is it blows the whole entire
- 11:00Speaker 1: theory that the malachite rings could have been bought by
- 11:03Speaker 1: Alex right out of the water. They're sitting here in
- 11:06Speaker 1: these wedding pictures with malachite rings on and there's receipts
- 11:10Speaker 1: in their financial records for, guess what, malachite rings. So
- 11:14Speaker 1: you can say the whole entire Alex Cox might have
- 11:16Speaker 1: been the one purchasing those rings for somebody else. 9.15 a.m.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Wood asks about the text messages between Lori and Chad
- 11:25Speaker 1: concerning the $ 4, 000 in Social Security. Mr. Daybell was aware
- 11:29Speaker 1: Lori was receiving at least $ 4, 000. Wood asks. Douglas responds
- 11:34Speaker 1: that Chad was. 9.18 a.m. Wood asks about the burner
- 11:38Speaker 1: phones that and prior asking if they would be a
- 11:41Speaker 1: good way to have an affair. Wood follows up by saying,
- 11:45Speaker 1: would that be a good way to hide a crime?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Douglas says yes. If someone was having an affair, and
- 11:51Speaker 1: the mistress, husband dies, and then your wife dies, and
- 11:54Speaker 1: you get married 10 days later, and there are two
- 11:57Speaker 1: dead kids found on your property, would that be a
- 11:59Speaker 1: reason to buy a burner phone? Wood asks. Douglas says yes.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Absolutely nuked him right there. absolutely, positively nuked the whole
- 12:10Speaker 1: entire narrative about why he would have a burner phone. Sure,
- 12:14Speaker 1: it might be because he's having a relationship, but it
- 12:16Speaker 1: also might be because he killed some kids. 9.19 a.m.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Pryor has two follow-up questions. Douglas is released from the
- 12:24Speaker 1: stand and will not be recalled. 9.20 a.m. The next
- 12:29Speaker 1: witness called by the state is Melanie Gibb. And this
- 12:32Speaker 1: lady's a unit. I hate to say it, but an
- 12:34Speaker 1: absolute unit. 9.21 a.m. Lindsay Blake is questioning Gibb. She
- 12:40Speaker 1: asked Gibb when she met Chad Daybell. She says they
- 12:42Speaker 1: met at a get-together in 2017. They spoke but did
- 12:46Speaker 1: not keep in touch. Can you imagine what that get-together
- 12:49Speaker 1: was like? The conversation going on at that get-together? I
- 12:53Speaker 1: feel my IQ dropping just thinking about it. It's like
- 12:56Speaker 1: an episode of Doomsday Prepper has gone wrong. Blake asked
- 13:01Speaker 1: Gibb where she met Lori. It was in a church
- 13:03Speaker 1: building in October of 2018. 9.22 a.m. Lori approached Gibb
- 13:08Speaker 1: and they started a friendship. A few weeks after they met,
- 13:11Speaker 1: they went to St. George, Utah for a religious conference.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Around five to six people all traveled to the conference
- 13:17Speaker 1: in the same vehicle. 9.23 a.m. Chad was selling his
- 13:21Speaker 1: books at the conference. Gibb observed Lori and Chad meeting.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Gibb walked into the building with Lori and can't remember
- 13:28Speaker 1: if she introduced Lori to Chad or Lori introduced herself.
- 13:31Speaker 1: During testimony in the courtroom, Chad glances back and forth
- 13:35Speaker 1: from the prosecutor to Gibb. 9.26 a.m. Gibb says Lori
- 13:40Speaker 1: and Chad were very interested in each other. Lori was
- 13:43Speaker 1: married to Charles at the time, and Chad was married
- 13:45Speaker 1: to Tammy. Gibb had met Charles, but never met Tammy.
- 13:49Speaker 1: After the conference, Gibb traveled back to Arizona with Lori. 9.27 a.m.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Blake asks what was discussed during the drive back to Arizona.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Gibb says Lori and Chad discussed multiple lives, the fact
- 14:02Speaker 1: Lori was married to Maroney in a previous life, multiple probations,
- 14:06Speaker 1: and more. Gibb says before Lori met Chad, she talked
- 14:10Speaker 1: to her about multiple lives. Lori told Gibb Chad gave
- 14:14Speaker 1: her additional information at the conference that they had been
- 14:17Speaker 1: married in previous probations. Lori was receptive of the information.
- 14:22Speaker 1: All of that is batshit crazy. No angel showed up
- 14:26Speaker 1: to talk to you. You're not a prophet. You didn't
- 14:30Speaker 1: live any lives previous to this one. But guess what?
- 14:34Speaker 1: The rest of your mortal life here on Earth is
- 14:38Speaker 1: going to be spent behind bars. You and the dancing
- 14:42Speaker 1: skafooza known as Lori Vallow. So enjoy those probations. 928 AM.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Gibb met Tylee and JJ in Lori's house. She says
- 14:51Speaker 1: Lori and Tylee had a difficult relationship and didn't get
- 14:54Speaker 1: along very well. Gibb says Lori had a lot of
- 14:57Speaker 1: affection for JJ. He was autistic and he seemed very
- 15:01Speaker 1: busy for her, meaning Lori. 9.29 a.m. Gibb had contact
- 15:06Speaker 1: with Lori almost daily. After January 2019, Lori started to
- 15:11Speaker 1: move multiple times, so it was hard for Gibb to
- 15:13Speaker 1: keep in touch with her. They still spoke on the phone. 9.30 a.m.
- 15:18Speaker 1: After the conference in October, Gibb saw Chad again the
- 15:21Speaker 1: next month at a conference in Arizona. Where do they
- 15:24Speaker 1: get all this money to go to these conferences? Everybody's rich,
- 15:27Speaker 1: I guess. Tammy was not there. Lori was. Outside of
- 15:32Speaker 1: the conference, Gibbs saw Chad and Lori's house in Arizona.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Blake asked about the gathering. What is it, the gathering
- 15:38Speaker 1: of the Juggalos? Oh wait, that's the wrong conference. My bad.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Gibbs says a small group of people met before the conference,
- 15:44Speaker 1: about 20, and Lori and her friends were there. 9.31 a.m.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Lori and Chad talked often with each other at the get-together,
- 15:52Speaker 1: and they seemed interested in each other. Lori told Gibbs
- 15:55Speaker 1: that Lori and Chad had been married to each other
- 15:58Speaker 1: in previous probations. Lori told Gibbs They were going to
- 16:02Speaker 1: be resealed in the temple to each other like they
- 16:04Speaker 1: had been in previous lives together. Lori told Gibb they
- 16:08Speaker 1: had gone to the temple. Charles and Tammy were both
- 16:11Speaker 1: still alive. Now, look, I know that the Mormon church
- 16:14Speaker 1: at one point was down with polygamy, but I think
- 16:16Speaker 1: Chad Daybell is a little bit late here. 9.32 a.m.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Charles was out of town and Gibb read Chad's book
- 16:24Speaker 1: and Lori had read them too. Lori was interested in
- 16:27Speaker 1: his books. I would rather go to a Taliban-run dentistry
- 16:31Speaker 1: office and have every single tooth pulled out of my
- 16:34Speaker 1: head than read one single paragraph of Stunad's book. 9.33 a.m.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Chad stayed at Lori's house during the conference. Alex may
- 16:43Speaker 1: have stayed at the home, but there were no other
- 16:46Speaker 1: men there. I'm sure Alex was hella jealous about all
- 16:49Speaker 1: of it, right? Jamie Lannister himself. 9.34 a.m. Gibbs says
- 16:55Speaker 1: Lori would often call Chad and Chad would give her
- 16:57Speaker 1: information about multiple probations. Lori would then come back and
- 17:02Speaker 1: share what she learned with Gibbs and another friend. Gibbs
- 17:05Speaker 1: says Lori shared about light and dark from Chad. Gibbs
- 17:08Speaker 1: says if someone was light, they made contracts with Jesus
- 17:12Speaker 1: Christ before they came here. If they were dark, they
- 17:14Speaker 1: made contracts with Satan. There was a scale level about
- 17:18Speaker 1: how light and dark people were. Imagine believing this nonsense?
- 17:23Speaker 1: And then running around and propagating it, telling your other
- 17:27Speaker 1: friends about it. Hey, you really got to listen to
- 17:29Speaker 1: this guy, Chad Daybell's podcast. He's really banging out. I mean,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I shouldn't be surprised with some of the grifters out
- 17:36Speaker 1: there and the content that gets created. I shouldn't be
- 17:39Speaker 1: shocked at all. But this is a little much, no?
- 17:42Speaker 1: Bros out here talking about how he's been touched by
- 17:44Speaker 1: the angels. Meanwhile, he should have been touched by a
- 17:47Speaker 1: right hook. 9.36 a.m. In regard to multiple probations, Lori
- 17:52Speaker 1: said people live multiple lives and she would try to
- 17:55Speaker 1: figure out when. Lori asked Chad how many times people
- 17:59Speaker 1: had been on the planet or other planets. Lori would
- 18:02Speaker 1: then share with Gibb what Chad had told her. Blake
- 18:06Speaker 1: asked if people were designated with a number and then
- 18:09Speaker 1: an L or D for light or dark. The numbers
- 18:11Speaker 1: and letters originated from Chad, Gibb says. Yeah, but Chad
- 18:15Speaker 1: was just a bystander, remember? That's what Pryor's telling us. Oh,
- 18:19Speaker 1: this was all Lori's fault. Chad just got dragged around
- 18:23Speaker 1: by his ding-dong. You know, the whole thing. 9.37 a.m.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Lori felt her mission was to get women for the 144,000,
- 18:32Speaker 1: according to Gibb. The 144,000 is a biblical explanation for
- 18:37Speaker 1: people who would go out and gather Israel in the
- 18:40Speaker 1: last days and have the power to do that, Gibb says.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm not even going to touch that. Gather in Israel?
- 18:47Speaker 1: These people probably can't even point out Israel on a map.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Blake asks where Lori got that belief. Gibbs says she
- 18:54Speaker 1: got it for herself, but Lori shared with Chad who
- 18:57Speaker 1: she believed she was. Chad agreed and told her that
- 19:00Speaker 1: that's what her mission was. 9.39 a.m. Lori told other
- 19:05Speaker 1: people about light and dark and multiple probations. Zulema, Melanie,
- 19:10Speaker 1: Alex Cox, and others. Blake asks Gibb if she knows
- 19:13Speaker 1: if Chad ever shared teachings and belief with those people.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Gibb says yes. She was present when he did. Chad
- 19:21Speaker 1: is taking notes in the courtroom during Gibb's testimony. Well,
- 19:24Speaker 1: that's funny. Why does he have to do that? Can't
- 19:26Speaker 1: he just snap his fingers? He's a prophet, right? Snap
- 19:29Speaker 1: your fingers and have it all dictated right there on
- 19:32Speaker 1: the notepad in front of you. Oh, that's right. You
- 19:35Speaker 1: don't have any magical powers. You're just a bullshit artist
- 19:38Speaker 1: who used religion as a shield and a tool to
- 19:41Speaker 1: manipulate people. 940 AM. Gibb says she had heard of
- 19:45Speaker 1: these concepts before, but not in the way Chad was
- 19:47Speaker 1: teaching them. Gibb was open to learning more about these things. Oh,
- 19:51Speaker 1: I'm sure she was. Another crazy-ass person. Chad and Lori
- 19:55Speaker 1: spoke to Gibb about people switching from light to dark
- 19:58Speaker 1: or dark to light. She says some evil entity could
- 20:01Speaker 1: enter a person and a light person could become dark.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Lori said she got this information from Chad. Well, there
- 20:08Speaker 1: it is. It's like saying you got information from the internet. Oh,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I read that on the internet, bro. Or for those
- 20:13Speaker 1: of you who are old like I am, remember some
- 20:15Speaker 1: kid came to school at one point and was like, man,
- 20:18Speaker 1: check this out. My friend was eating Pop Rocks and
- 20:21Speaker 1: drank soda and he exploded. Well, back then we didn't
- 20:24Speaker 1: have the internet, right? So we ran around for like
- 20:26Speaker 1: 20 years thinking that some kid ate Pop Rocks and exploded.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Same kind of bullshit here. But the difference is, they
- 20:33Speaker 1: could easily check on this stuff and find out that
- 20:36Speaker 1: it's bullshit. But instead, they all took the ostrich approach.
- 20:40Speaker 1: And because it felt good, and it fell in line
- 20:42Speaker 1: with their worldview, well, it all must be true. 9.42am.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Lori began telling Gibb about light and dark people in
- 20:50Speaker 1: January 2019. The first person who turned dark was Charles.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Lori got this information from Chad, according to Gibb. Lori
- 20:58Speaker 1: originally told Gibb, when a person became dark, their spirit...
- 21:01Speaker 1: would go into the spirit world, but the body was
- 21:04Speaker 1: still alive with a dark spirit. Hey, I saw that
- 21:07Speaker 1: on the movie Insidious. Is that what he's basing all
- 21:10Speaker 1: of this on? Did he watch like a horror movie
- 21:12Speaker 1: and decide to come up with this claptrap bullshit? 9.43 AM.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Laurie would try to cast the evil spirit out of
- 21:20Speaker 1: the body and try to convince it to leave. Gibbs
- 21:23Speaker 1: says Laurie got the idea for casting from energy work.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Gibbs says Charles was designated a different name, Ned Schneider.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Chad told Lori that the name was changed. Lori told
- 21:34Speaker 1: Gibb about a dream she had when Charles was out
- 21:37Speaker 1: of town. Lori says Charles and JJ were not going
- 21:40Speaker 1: to come back. They were in a car crash and
- 21:43Speaker 1: Charles was killed in the crash. Charles never died in
- 21:46Speaker 1: a crash. After this dream, Lori told Gibb, Charles turned dark.
- 21:50Speaker 1: And like any good charlatan or grifter, whenever something is wrong,
- 21:55Speaker 1: they just keep it moving and say, oh, it's part
- 21:57Speaker 1: of the plan. Trust the plan. Trust the plan. Well,
- 22:00Speaker 1: guess what? The plan's a bunch of bullshit. And frankly,
- 22:03Speaker 1: every word that tumbled out of this idiot's mouth was
- 22:07Speaker 1: bullshit as well. 9.45 a.m. Blake asks about castings and
- 22:11Speaker 1: if Gibb was ever there for a casting, she was.
- 22:14Speaker 1: She describes the ladies would stand in a circle. Some
- 22:17Speaker 1: would say a prayer. Some would send spiritual weapons. The
- 22:21Speaker 1: people who were there, having the spirits cast out of them,
- 22:24Speaker 1: were not physically there. Gibbs says that when they did
- 22:27Speaker 1: the casting for Charles, Ned left, but another entity incorporated
- 22:31Speaker 1: his body, according to Chad. Imagine this group of frumpy-ass
- 22:35Speaker 1: Karens and weirdos with their New Balance mom jeans on,
- 22:39Speaker 1: hanging out, doing a seance talking about we're sending spiritual
- 22:43Speaker 1: weapons to this one or that one. What a bunch
- 22:45Speaker 1: of absolute goofballs. 9.47 a.m. Gibbs says there were additional
- 22:51Speaker 1: castings in relation to Charles. Gibbs participated. They tried to
- 22:55Speaker 1: cast the next evil spirit out of Charles and it worked,
- 22:57Speaker 1: according to Lori. Lori said she received this information from Chad.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Nothing happened to Charles and then another entity came into
- 23:05Speaker 1: his body. Lori learned this from Chad, Gibb says. Chad
- 23:09Speaker 1: was present for some of the castings, Gibb says. Another
- 23:12Speaker 1: casting was done on Brandon Boudreaux. Chad was present and
- 23:16Speaker 1: so was Gibb. Chad shakes his head. 9.49am. Gibb had
- 23:20Speaker 1: met Brandon and Brandon was designated as dark, according to Lori.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Who learned it from Chad? Blake asks if castings were
- 23:27Speaker 1: ever done on Tammy. Gibb says yes. Blake asks if
- 23:31Speaker 1: castings were done on JJ and Tylee. Gibb does not recall. 9.50 a.m.
- 23:37Speaker 1: The castings started in January, February 2019 until before Charles died.
- 23:43Speaker 1: If the castings were successful, the body would naturally expire
- 23:46Speaker 1: according to Gibb. Blake asks if she was ever told
- 23:50Speaker 1: violence would be done to the body. Never, Gibb says.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Gibbs says others were involved in the castings more than her,
- 23:57Speaker 1: people like Lori and Zulima. They knew the most about it,
- 24:00Speaker 1: Gibbs says. And this is what I mean about all
- 24:03Speaker 1: these people who were involved in this shit. It's all
- 24:05Speaker 1: bizarre to me, folks. It's all very, very bizarre to me. 9.51 a.m.
- 24:11Speaker 1: The casting Chad attended happened in Arizona, Gibbs says. Chad
- 24:14Speaker 1: shakes his head no, in the courtroom, and writes notes
- 24:17Speaker 1: down on the pad in front of him. 9.52 a.m.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Gibbs started to believe that Charles might be possessed. She
- 24:23Speaker 1: had met him a few times but did not know
- 24:25Speaker 1: him well. Most of what she knew about Charles came
- 24:28Speaker 1: from Lori. In July 2019, Gibbs stayed at Lori's house
- 24:33Speaker 1: but Lori asked her to leave. I woke up early
- 24:35Speaker 1: in the morning and she told me I needed to
- 24:37Speaker 1: leave because Charles was driving in from Texas and he
- 24:40Speaker 1: was going to kill her, Gibbs says. More like Lori's
- 24:43Speaker 1: setting the groundwork so that when Charles eventually died, she
- 24:46Speaker 1: had some excuses here and some plausible deniability. 9.53 a.m.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Lori told Gib that Alex was going to protect her.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Blake asked if there was anything unusual about Lori and
- 24:57Speaker 1: Alex's relationship. She says they were very close, but nothing unusual.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Gib says Alex was designated as Lori's protector. His mission
- 25:05Speaker 1: in life was to protect Lori. That's why he came here,
- 25:08Speaker 1: she says. Chad told Lori this about Alex. Oh yeah,
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm sure that's exactly why he was born. 9.54 a.m.
- 25:16Speaker 1: After Charles was killed, Gibbs says Lori told her Charles
- 25:20Speaker 1: came in from Texas and she grabbed his cell phone.
- 25:24Speaker 1: He was really upset and tightly grabbed a bat to
- 25:26Speaker 1: protect her mom or herself. Alex went into his room
- 25:29Speaker 1: to get a gun to defend himself and then shot Charles,
- 25:32Speaker 1: Gibbs recalls. 9.55 a.m. Gibbs spoke with Lori about four
- 25:37Speaker 1: days after Charles was killed. Gibbs says there was no
- 25:40Speaker 1: sign of sadness or grief. Lori seemed happy. When Gibbs
- 25:44Speaker 1: spoke with Alex, she says he seemed thoughtful and unsure
- 25:47Speaker 1: of himself. Gibbs saw Chad a few weeks after Charles died.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Chad was in Arizona at Lori's house. What a disgusting,
- 25:55Speaker 1: rotten son of a bitch. Dude gets blasted and killed
- 25:58Speaker 1: in this house, and then Chad shows up there? Mr.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Prophet himself? 9.57 a.m. Chad and Lori were super excited
- 26:07Speaker 1: to be together. They were talking to several people at
- 26:10Speaker 1: the kitchen table and were excited to share their future
- 26:12Speaker 1: plans together. There were no signs of grief from Chad.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Tammy was still alive. In the courtroom, Chad leans over
- 26:18Speaker 1: to Pryor and whispers something in his ear. 9.58 a.m.
- 26:23Speaker 1: We are now headed to our morning break. Be back
- 26:26Speaker 1: in 30 minutes. So this is where we're going to
- 26:29Speaker 1: take our break as well. And in the next episode,
- 26:31Speaker 1: we'll pick up where we left off. All of the
- 26:35Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 26:38Speaker 1: the description box. What's up, everyone? And welcome back to
- 26:42Speaker 1: the program. In this episode, we're going to pick up
- 26:45Speaker 1: where we left off. at the Chad Daybell trial right
- 26:48Speaker 1: after the first recess was taken by Judge Boyce. This
- 26:52Speaker 1: article was published by EastIdahoNews.com and the author of this
- 26:57Speaker 1: article is Nate Eaton. 1010 AM. Interesting development during this break.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Those of us in the gallery were held back and
- 27:05Speaker 1: reminded to follow courtroom conduct rules because a phone alarm
- 27:08Speaker 1: went off this morning. As Melanie Gibb was in the
- 27:11Speaker 1: hallway for the break, a lady waiting in line to
- 27:14Speaker 1: get inside tells me a man ran after Gibb to
- 27:17Speaker 1: serve her with papers. Gibb refused to take it, and
- 27:21Speaker 1: John Pryor came out of the courtroom saying, where is he?
- 27:23Speaker 1: Where is he? Pryor then told Gibb she has to
- 27:27Speaker 1: take the papers. The prosecutors came out and said she
- 27:30Speaker 1: can't be served a subpoena while on the stand. It
- 27:33Speaker 1: appears Pryor wants Gibb as a defense witness too. I
- 27:38Speaker 1: don't blame him there, honestly. This Melanie Gibb lady, she
- 27:42Speaker 1: knows a lot more than she's letting on in my opinion.
- 27:45Speaker 1: And she always has. Her and Zulima Pastanis both know
- 27:49Speaker 1: a lot more about what went down here, in my opinion,
- 27:52Speaker 1: than we'll ever know. Now, that said, I don't think
- 27:55Speaker 1: they were involved in planning the murder of JJ or
- 27:59Speaker 1: Tylee or Charles Vallow or Tammy Daybell. But I do
- 28:04Speaker 1: think that they were a part of the inner circle.
- 28:07Speaker 1: And they most certainly knew that the plans for Charles Vallow,
- 28:12Speaker 1: at the very least, were not good. If you're doing
- 28:15Speaker 1: a seance and you're trying to get the dark spirits
- 28:18Speaker 1: out of him, chances are you know that he's being
- 28:21Speaker 1: lined up for something that's not very good. And that's
- 28:25Speaker 1: where I'm at with Melanie Gibb and Zalima and the
- 28:28Speaker 1: rest of the people that were hanging out doing seances
- 28:31Speaker 1: and shit. 10.30 a.m. We are back in the courtroom.
- 28:34Speaker 1: All of the attorneys have been summoned to Judge Boyce's chambers. 10.34 a.m.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Gibb is sitting on the stand. Chad is sitting at
- 28:42Speaker 1: the defense table staring down. 10.40 a.m. The attorneys have
- 28:47Speaker 1: walked back into the courtroom. Judge takes the bench and
- 28:50Speaker 1: asks for the jurors to be brought back in. 10.41 a.m.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Chad and Pryor are both staring at Gibb. Gibb has
- 28:57Speaker 1: her back towards them from the stand and is looking
- 29:00Speaker 1: at the empty juror seats. 10.43 a.m. Blake continues with
- 29:05Speaker 1: her questioning of Gibb. Before Charles' death, Gibb says she
- 29:09Speaker 1: had conversations with Lori about her relationship with Chad. Gibb
- 29:13Speaker 1: says Lori told her they really loved each other and
- 29:16Speaker 1: they had missions together and multiple lives. There was physical
- 29:19Speaker 1: affection and contact. Lori told Gibb that every time she
- 29:24Speaker 1: got together with Chad, she would ask Jesus what was
- 29:28Speaker 1: acceptable and appropriate about what activities to do with Chad.
- 29:32Speaker 1: If she felt it was okay, she would meet up
- 29:34Speaker 1: with Chad at hotels. Yeah, because Jesus is out here
- 29:37Speaker 1: telling you, you should be stepping out on your husband's
- 29:41Speaker 1: and heading over to hang out with Stu Nott at
- 29:43Speaker 1: some random hotel to have relations outside of your marriage. 10.46 a.m.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Gibbs spoke with Lori about why Chad didn't get a divorce.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Chad told Lori that if he got a divorce, he
- 29:55Speaker 1: would lose his exaltation. Charles started divorce proceedings, according to Blake.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Gibb says she saw Lori with three phones. One was
- 30:03Speaker 1: her personal phone, the other phone was just for Chad,
- 30:06Speaker 1: and Gibb is unsure about the third phone. Oh, that's
- 30:09Speaker 1: the phone for the angel Moroni to call her directly. 10.48 a.m.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Lori contacted Chad daily, according to Gibb. Blake asks about
- 30:18Speaker 1: names Chad had in prior lives. Gibb doesn't remember names,
- 30:22Speaker 1: but remembers that Lori was married to Moroni, James, and
- 30:26Speaker 1: she was Chad's wife. But he was James and she
- 30:30Speaker 1: was Elena, more like Scafusa and Stunad. Chad was considered
- 30:34Speaker 1: to be the Methuselah and she was his daughter. Another
- 30:37Speaker 1: time she was a lady who was married to a
- 30:40Speaker 1: relative of Joseph Smith. 10.50 a.m. When Laurie and Elena,
- 30:46Speaker 1: Chad was James, one of the apostles of Jesus, in
- 30:49Speaker 1: a previous life. Laurie learned this information from Chad, Gibbs says.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Gibbs says Chad would sit in his portal and ask
- 30:56Speaker 1: questions to get his information. Gibb says, Lori's portal. It
- 31:00Speaker 1: was nothing but a spot in her closet. It didn't
- 31:03Speaker 1: look anything like a portal. It looked like a regular space,
- 31:06Speaker 1: Gibb says. Gibb says Chad told her and taught her
- 31:09Speaker 1: about the portal. There's no portals, okay? You're sitting in
- 31:13Speaker 1: your closet, making things up in your dumbass brain. And
- 31:18Speaker 1: all you people that went along with it, Melanie, Gibb,
- 31:21Speaker 1: and the rest of them? I mean, for real? Oh,
- 31:24Speaker 1: it doesn't even look like a portal. Breaking news, because
- 31:27Speaker 1: there are no portals, okay? You want a portal? Watch Stargate. 10.52 AM.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Lori told Gib she needed to go to Idaho to
- 31:34Speaker 1: be with Chad. At some point, Lori told Gib that
- 31:37Speaker 1: Tylee was dark. Blake asks who gave Lori that information.
- 31:42Speaker 1: I'm guessing it was Chad, Gib says. Gib says she
- 31:45Speaker 1: once saw Chad with a pendulum to get his answers.
- 31:48Speaker 1: It was gold and had a string. Well, it was
- 31:50Speaker 1: gold and had a string, folks, and a pendulum. So
- 31:53Speaker 1: I guess it has all kinds of mystical properties. It
- 31:57Speaker 1: was in February of 2019 in Boise. Gibb was here
- 32:01Speaker 1: for a conference. Chad, Zulema, Serena, and Audrey and other
- 32:05Speaker 1: people were at the conference. Oh yeah, another fantastic meeting
- 32:09Speaker 1: of the minds, huh? Let's all get together for an
- 32:13Speaker 1: episode of Doomsday Preppers Gone Wrong. 1054 AM. Lori was
- 32:18Speaker 1: in Hawaii and not at the conference. After Lori moved
- 32:21Speaker 1: to Idaho, Gibb spoke to Lori on the phone right
- 32:23Speaker 1: after they moved in. Lori was in her apartment playing
- 32:26Speaker 1: games with Alex and Tylee. Gib heard Tylee in the background. 10.56 a.m.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Gib visited Lori the weekend of September 22, 2019. There
- 32:37Speaker 1: was a conference in Rexburg and Gib was going to
- 32:41Speaker 1: record a podcast with Lori. They had recorded the podcast
- 32:44Speaker 1: with each other before. Gib flew to Idaho and stayed
- 32:48Speaker 1: at her house. When they arrived at the home, Alex
- 32:51Speaker 1: and JJ were there. Occasionally, Chad would come over. David Warwick,
- 32:55Speaker 1: her boyfriend at the time, was also there. Warwick and
- 32:58Speaker 1: Gibb are now married. 10.57 a.m. Gibb never saw Tylee
- 33:04Speaker 1: in Idaho. She asked Lori where Tylee was, and Lori
- 33:07Speaker 1: says her daughter was at BYU-Idaho with her roommates. Lori
- 33:12Speaker 1: didn't talk about Tylee again. Gibb stayed in Tylee's room,
- 33:15Speaker 1: but there was nothing in there, just furniture. 10.58 a.m.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Lori spoke to Gibb about JJ. Lori said the day
- 33:23Speaker 1: before Gibb arrived... JJ became dark. Lori had previously told
- 33:27Speaker 1: Gib that Tylee was dark. Gib didn't observe any behavior
- 33:32Speaker 1: from JJ that caused her concern. Several of the jurors
- 33:35Speaker 1: are taking notes. And it just fits right in with
- 33:38Speaker 1: the pattern of everything else we've heard. Light, dark, this
- 33:42Speaker 1: one has to go, that one has to go, this
- 33:45Speaker 1: one has a spirit possessing it. Meanwhile, the real evil
- 33:49Speaker 1: was Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell. 10.59 a.m. Gibb says
- 33:54Speaker 1: she arrived on Wednesday. The next day, JJ was upset,
- 33:58Speaker 1: and Chad took him upstairs. After some time, Chad came
- 34:01Speaker 1: back downstairs holding his hand. Chad had a red scratch
- 34:05Speaker 1: on his neck. Gibb asked what happened, and Chad said
- 34:07Speaker 1: JJ had scratched him. Gibb had not seen interaction between
- 34:11Speaker 1: Chad and JJ before that time. 11.01 a.m. Tammy was
- 34:17Speaker 1: still alive at this time. Gibb heard Chad talk a
- 34:20Speaker 1: little bit about Tammy. David asked Chad about Tammy that weekend.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Chad asked David not to tell anyone about his relationship
- 34:27Speaker 1: with Lori. Chad said Tammy was a good wife, according
- 34:31Speaker 1: to Gibb. Gibb never heard Chad say anything about getting
- 34:34Speaker 1: a divorce. Well, because that wasn't in the cards, right?
- 34:38Speaker 1: Let's just clip her, let's get rid of her, and
- 34:40Speaker 1: I can keep my exultation. 11.03 a.m. Gibb observed affection
- 34:47Speaker 1: and loving with Chad and Lori. She kissed him on
- 34:49Speaker 1: the cheek, they sang together and danced a little bit.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Gibb recalls walking around the BYU-Idaho campus, and Chad and
- 34:56Speaker 1: Lori were holding hands. Pryor has objected a few times,
- 35:00Speaker 1: but his microphone is off, so it's hard to hear. 11.05 a.m.
- 35:05Speaker 1: During the walk around BYU-Idaho track, Chad and Lori were
- 35:08Speaker 1: very affectionate and loving towards each other. Gibb asked if
- 35:11Speaker 1: they were concerned Tammy might see them together. Lori said
- 35:15Speaker 1: Tammy was not aware of his personal life like that.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Where he went? There was no indication of divorce or separation.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Lori said September 22nd was a special day for her.
- 35:28Speaker 1: It was the anniversary of when she saw Moroni in
- 35:32Speaker 1: the temple. Gibb recalls recording a podcast on September 22nd
- 35:36Speaker 1: with Lori and David. Alex walked in the door holding
- 35:39Speaker 1: JJ on his shoulder. Alex was taking JJ to bed.
- 35:43Speaker 1: JJ often slept in the corner of his mom's room
- 35:45Speaker 1: in a little bed. He also had his own bedrooms.
- 35:48Speaker 1: JJ did not sleep in his bedroom that night because
- 35:51Speaker 1: she was in JJ's room. 11.07 a.m. That night, David
- 35:56Speaker 1: woke up with a panic after having a nightmare. Gibb
- 35:59Speaker 1: says he was very disturbed by the dream. Gibb called
- 36:02Speaker 1: out to get help from Lori and or Chad to
- 36:05Speaker 1: ask for a priesthood blessing. So if you wake up
- 36:08Speaker 1: from a nightmare and your first reaction is I need
- 36:11Speaker 1: to call Chad Daybell or Lori Vallow to give me
- 36:14Speaker 1: a blessing, you, my friend, have made some serious, serious
- 36:19Speaker 1: miscalculations in your life. Because breaking news, it's just a
- 36:22Speaker 1: bad dream. Lori Vallow, Chad Daybell, the Angel Maroney, nobody's
- 36:28Speaker 1: coming to save you. Be a big boy, get up,
- 36:31Speaker 1: throw some water on your face, go back to bed.
- 36:35Speaker 1: And furthermore, imagine being asleep, and this dude comes and
- 36:37Speaker 1: knocks on your door in the middle of the night,
- 36:39Speaker 1: talking about, oh, I had a bad dream, can I
- 36:41Speaker 1: get a prayer? Yeah, bitch, here's your prayer, go back
- 36:44Speaker 1: to bed. Gibb texted or called Chad, but he didn't respond.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Gibb says this was in the early morning hours. Gibb
- 36:52Speaker 1: texted and called Lori. She didn't answer. Gibb went to
- 36:55Speaker 1: Lori's room, but it was locked. 11.09 a.m. Gibb never
- 36:59Speaker 1: saw J.J. again. 11.10 a.m. Blake asked Gibb if she
- 37:04Speaker 1: knows if Lori ever received life insurance following Charles Vallow's death.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Gibb doesn't think so. Gibb says Lori never told her
- 37:12Speaker 1: about having a job in Idaho. Lori shared with Gibb
- 37:15Speaker 1: that J.J., was acting out more, and was acting like
- 37:18Speaker 1: he was possessed, the weekend Gib visited. Lori seemed troubled
- 37:22Speaker 1: that JJ had been taken over by an evil spirit.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Lori told Gib she wanted Kay Woodcock, JJ's grandmother, to
- 37:29Speaker 1: take JJ. Well, that would have been a good idea, no?
- 37:33Speaker 1: Instead of killing this little baby, how about you hand
- 37:36Speaker 1: him over to his grandparents? Probably a good idea, Lori Vallow.
- 37:40Speaker 1: But she couldn't do that, right? Because if she did,
- 37:42Speaker 1: what would she lose? She would lose the money. And
- 37:45Speaker 1: it was all about the dough when we're talking about Scafusa. 11.11 a.m.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Gibb says Lori told her she was going to meet
- 37:53Speaker 1: Kay in an airport and give J.J. to him. Lori
- 37:57Speaker 1: was throwing out different ideas of how she could convince
- 37:59Speaker 1: Kay to take J.J. Lori told Gibb she contacted Kay
- 38:03Speaker 1: and Lori said she gave J.J. to Kay. Kay and
- 38:07Speaker 1: Larry Woodcock are in the courtroom this morning. 11.13 a.m.
- 38:12Speaker 1: The morning after Gibb last saw J.J., Lori said J.J.
- 38:15Speaker 1: was with Alex. Lori later told Gibb that she met
- 38:19Speaker 1: up with Kay in Salt Lake City Airport and Kay
- 38:21Speaker 1: took J.J. 11.14 a.m. In November 2019, two or three
- 38:27Speaker 1: days before Thanksgiving, Chad called Gibb when she was in Utah.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Chad told Gibb that Rexburg police were going to call
- 38:35Speaker 1: her and ask her about J.J. He asked her not
- 38:38Speaker 1: to pick up the phone. He said Lori told the
- 38:40Speaker 1: police Gibb had J.J., Gibb says Chad sounded nervous on
- 38:44Speaker 1: the phone. Well, yeah. He's trying to run this whole
- 38:48Speaker 1: entire scam, this whole entire story, and he needs Melanie
- 38:51Speaker 1: Gibb to help him out. 11.15 a.m. Gibb said to Chad,
- 38:57Speaker 1: JJ isn't with Kay? Chad said no. He told her
- 39:00Speaker 1: Lori would be calling her, but she was talking to
- 39:02Speaker 1: the police. Lori later called Gibb and was very positive
- 39:06Speaker 1: and upbeat. She said she was protecting JJ and Tylee
- 39:10Speaker 1: because Kay and others were trying to kidnap him. Gibb
- 39:13Speaker 1: says Lori told her to go to a Frozen movie
- 39:15Speaker 1: and take pictures of other kids to make it look
- 39:18Speaker 1: like Melanie had them. So she's trying to get Melanie
- 39:22Speaker 1: Gibb to cover for her bullshit when these kids are
- 39:24Speaker 1: already dead. And the walls are starting to close in here.
- 39:29Speaker 1: and the jig is about to be up. 11.17 a.m.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Gibb says Alex told her law enforcement were considered dark
- 39:37Speaker 1: translated beings. Gibb says Chad determined who was dark. Gibb
- 39:41Speaker 1: did not initially answer the call from the police. She
- 39:44Speaker 1: says she didn't know what to do. She ended up
- 39:47Speaker 1: calling Gilbert, Arizona police. She said she had JJ, but
- 39:50Speaker 1: no longer had him, and he was back with Lori.
- 39:54Speaker 1: So this is what I mean when I talk about
- 39:56Speaker 1: Melanie Gibb and the rest of these people that were
- 39:58Speaker 1: around them. They weren't interested in ratting on Lori Vallow
- 40:04Speaker 1: or Chad Daybell or protecting these kids until their asses
- 40:08Speaker 1: were in a sling, until they were being looked at.
- 40:12Speaker 1: The idea is to protect these kids before they get hurt.
- 40:15Speaker 1: 1118 a.m. Gibb says the day she was going to
- 40:19Speaker 1: talk with the police, she got a call from an
- 40:21Speaker 1: old friend who was an attorney. Gibb says she told
- 40:24Speaker 1: her friend about the situation, and the attorney suggested a
- 40:28Speaker 1: welfare check be done. The attorney reached out to police
- 40:31Speaker 1: and requested a welfare check. Gibb was concerned about the
- 40:35Speaker 1: well-being of JJ and Tylee. Gibb sat down with law
- 40:38Speaker 1: enforcement and says, I told them everything, without an attorney present.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Probably not the best idea. Look, if you're going to
- 40:45Speaker 1: talk to the cops... It's a no-brainer to have an
- 40:47Speaker 1: attorney present. 11.20 a.m. Gibb told police JJ had never
- 40:52Speaker 1: been with her. After Thanksgiving, Gibb and David called Chad
- 40:55Speaker 1: and Lori. They asked where JJ was. Chad and Lori
- 40:59Speaker 1: would not tell her. Gibb spoke with Alex a day
- 41:01Speaker 1: or two after Thanksgiving and told them her concerns about JJ.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Gibb and Alex were walking with Melanie Pawlowski, Lori's niece
- 41:09Speaker 1: in a field. Gibb asked Alex, do I want to
- 41:12Speaker 1: know where JJ is? Alex said no and proceeded to
- 41:15Speaker 1: tell her about the police coming to his apartment. That
- 41:19Speaker 1: didn't set off any red flags. Imagine beaver face Alex
- 41:22Speaker 1: Cox saying that to you. I mean, that doesn't raise
- 41:25Speaker 1: any red flags. 11.23 a.m. Gibb called Chad and Lori
- 41:29Speaker 1: on December 8th, 2019. She recorded the call. Blake moves
- 41:33Speaker 1: to admit the call. 11.28 a.m. Blake is now playing
- 41:36Speaker 1: the call. Chad answers, hello, sweet Melanie. Gibb asked Chad
- 41:40Speaker 1: and Lori where they are. Chad giggles and says, ah,
- 41:43Speaker 1: we're just hanging out. They don't say where they are.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Gib asks Lori what happened with JJ and why he
- 41:50Speaker 1: isn't at Kay's house. Lori doesn't answer the question but
- 41:53Speaker 1: says people are after her. Chad says if you knew
- 41:56Speaker 1: where JJ was, that puts you in danger. Chad and
- 41:59Speaker 1: Lori won't say where JJ is because Lori wants to
- 42:03Speaker 1: keep him and everyone else protected. More like she wants
- 42:06Speaker 1: to keep herself and Chad protected because they already killed
- 42:09Speaker 1: this baby. 11.31 a.m. Gib asks Lori why she told
- 42:13Speaker 1: the police JJ was with her. I just needed to
- 42:15Speaker 1: have somebody so I wouldn't have to tell him where
- 42:18Speaker 1: he really was because they were going to tell Kay.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Gib asks if JJ is safe. Lori responds, he's safe
- 42:25Speaker 1: and happy. Gib asks how it could hurt her if
- 42:28Speaker 1: she knew where JJ is. Lori responds, I'm just not
- 42:31Speaker 1: telling anybody so that nobody has to say where he
- 42:34Speaker 1: is or get questioned where he is so I can
- 42:36Speaker 1: keep him as safe as possible. 11.33 a.m. Gibb says
- 42:40Speaker 1: she asked Alex Cox where JJ was. He said he
- 42:43Speaker 1: was somewhere and could not be found. Lori says she
- 42:46Speaker 1: doesn't want anyone to know where JJ is so nobody
- 42:49Speaker 1: has to be questioned about it. Gibb asks Lori how
- 42:53Speaker 1: long she will be away. Lori says she will do
- 42:55Speaker 1: whatever the Lord needs her to do every day. 11.35 a.m.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Lori says the police are working with Kay in some
- 43:04Speaker 1: dark capacity and there is no reason for them to
- 43:06Speaker 1: be after her. Lori says Kay has threatened her. Gibb
- 43:10Speaker 1: says she's worried for Chad and Lori because JJ is missing.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Lori says, I know exactly where he is. He's safe.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Gibb wants to share a scripture with Lori. Yeah, she
- 43:20Speaker 1: knew where he was. Buried on Chad Daybell's property. Keep
- 43:24Speaker 1: him as safe as possible. 1137 AM. On the call,
- 43:28Speaker 1: Lori mentions Alma and Moroni, Book of Mormon Prophets. Lori
- 43:32Speaker 1: says that they had to hide in the cavity of
- 43:35Speaker 1: a rock by day and go out by night. Gibb
- 43:38Speaker 1: reads scripture to Laurie about not fearing men more than
- 43:41Speaker 1: God and being faithful. Gibb says if the door is
- 43:44Speaker 1: open to Satan, he comes in and attacks. God doesn't
- 43:48Speaker 1: work in darkness, Gibb says. Laurie responds, I agree 100%.
- 43:52Speaker 1: And that is what the Lord is doing with me.
- 43:55Speaker 1: 1138 AM. Laurie tells Gibb darkness is knocking on the
- 43:59Speaker 1: door all the time and says, I promise you, I
- 44:02Speaker 1: have done nothing wrong in this case. But sometimes you
- 44:04Speaker 1: have to hide in the cavity of a rock. Lori
- 44:07Speaker 1: says Kay is dark because she changed the life insurance
- 44:10Speaker 1: policy with Charles. Lori says she doesn't know why Gibb
- 44:14Speaker 1: is being controversial with her and says she loves Gibb.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Gibb says if you really love me, you would not
- 44:20Speaker 1: have told the police I had JJ with me. Well,
- 44:23Speaker 1: that's legit. If you love me, why are you dragging
- 44:25Speaker 1: me into your bullshit, right? And furthermore, if you love me,
- 44:28Speaker 1: where's your kid at? Lori tells Gibb she did what
- 44:32Speaker 1: the Lord told her to do and Gibb can have
- 44:35Speaker 1: this confirmed to her by the Lord. Gibb tells Lori
- 44:38Speaker 1: she is very deceived by Satan and Satan has tricked her. 11.41 a.m.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Gibb says Tammy died. Charles died. Gibb says she has
- 44:47Speaker 1: never had peace about all this and she has felt
- 44:50Speaker 1: weird in her stomach. Lori responds, you know me, Mel.
- 44:53Speaker 1: This sounds like you have been influenced by somebody dark
- 44:56Speaker 1: who wants you to believe dark things and have fear
- 44:59Speaker 1: of the celestial world. So in other words, using religious
- 45:03Speaker 1: extortion here, right? Oh, your fate. Your spiritual fate is
- 45:08Speaker 1: going to be sealed if you don't stop listening to
- 45:11Speaker 1: the darks. It's basically what Lori Vallow is trying to
- 45:14Speaker 1: tell Melanie Gibb here. Lori says Christ is coming soon
- 45:20Speaker 1: and Gibb will know that Lori has not been deceived.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Chad now comes on to the call and says his
- 45:26Speaker 1: sister-in-law Heather Daybell has been deceived and coming up with theories.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Chad says his own children said Tammy had been getting
- 45:34Speaker 1: weaker and sick, her heart was failing her, and she
- 45:37Speaker 1: was physically falling apart. I wonder how much Chad Daybell
- 45:41Speaker 1: gaslit his children into believing that Tammy was sick. My
- 45:45Speaker 1: guess is a whole lot. Chad says he's known for
- 45:50Speaker 1: years that Tammy would die at a young age, and
- 45:52Speaker 1: his life will have two segments. Chad says Tammy is
- 45:56Speaker 1: on a special mission, and she has visited his kids.
- 46:00Speaker 1: He tells Gib she has to have faith in the
- 46:02Speaker 1: Master's plan. Gib says, You can understand my concern, correct?
- 46:07Speaker 1: Chad says from an outsider's perspective he can, but David,
- 46:10Speaker 1: her boyfriend, seems to be putting doubts in her mind.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Then David is a good man, because if you really
- 46:16Speaker 1: loved Melanie Gibb, you'd be putting some doubts in her mind.
- 46:20Speaker 1: If I had any friends that started talking this kind
- 46:23Speaker 1: of bullshit, you better believe we'd be having a very,
- 46:26Speaker 1: very frank conversation. 1144 AM. Lori tells Gibb she will
- 46:32Speaker 1: be accountable for the knowledge she has. Gibb says so
- 46:35Speaker 1: will you. Gibb says she was reading the story of
- 46:38Speaker 1: Korahor and his carnal and natural desires. Lori says you
- 46:43Speaker 1: think I'm Korahor? Are you kidding me right now? Gibb
- 46:46Speaker 1: says both Chad and Lori had similarities to Korahor. Lori
- 46:50Speaker 1: says she lives by the scripture and Gibb says she
- 46:53Speaker 1: feels Lori has rested the scriptures. Lori is upset Gibb
- 46:56Speaker 1: would say this. Korahor is an antichrist in the Book
- 47:00Speaker 1: of Mormon. How many antichrists are there by the way?
- 47:03Speaker 1: There's only one Christ, so how many antichrists could there
- 47:06Speaker 1: possibly be out there? 11.45 a.m. Gibb and Lori are
- 47:10Speaker 1: arguing about scriptures, and Gibb tells Lori she has opened
- 47:13Speaker 1: dark portals and dark junk. Lori says the Lord has
- 47:16Speaker 1: her back. Gibb says she's trying to find JJ, and
- 47:19Speaker 1: she's asking where JJ is. Lori says she can say
- 47:23Speaker 1: where JJ is, but that would not be for the best.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Lori says she would never ask Gibb not to protect
- 47:30Speaker 1: her children. 11.47 a.m. Gibb tells Lori her salvation is
- 47:35Speaker 1: in trouble with the Lord. Lori says she needs to
- 47:37Speaker 1: check with the Lord again because her salvation is not
- 47:40Speaker 1: in trouble. What do you mean check with the Lord again?
- 47:44Speaker 1: Does he have like a direct line that only you
- 47:46Speaker 1: folks can call him on? Hey, God, look, we're going
- 47:50Speaker 1: to need you to step in here and settle this dispute.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Lori says, I'm sorry you are friends with all these
- 47:56Speaker 1: people who are against me. Gibb says she isn't friends
- 47:58Speaker 1: with any of them. She doesn't know Kay and she
- 48:01Speaker 1: doesn't know Chad's sister-in-law. 11.49 a.m. Gibb says Lori's behavior
- 48:06Speaker 1: is not one of someone who believes in Christ. Lori
- 48:09Speaker 1: says Gibb sounds pissed off. Gibb responds, I'm troubled. These
- 48:13Speaker 1: things like with you being with Chad before he's even divorced,
- 48:17Speaker 1: Lori says. I was never with him and he was
- 48:20Speaker 1: never divorced. Gibb says, honey, I've seen you guys together. 11.50 a.m.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Lori says Gibb feels guilty about being with someone before
- 48:29Speaker 1: she is divorced. Gibb says, honey, that's not what we
- 48:33Speaker 1: are talking about here. Lori says Jesus Christ is protecting
- 48:36Speaker 1: her and will protect her against the accusations Gibb has
- 48:40Speaker 1: made against her. Lori hangs up. 11.51 a.m. Gibb says
- 48:46Speaker 1: the call disconnected. Sometimes, in the end, in the particular
- 48:50Speaker 1: area Gibb was in. Blake asks Gibb if she knew
- 48:53Speaker 1: where Chad and Lori were during the call. Gibb doesn't know.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Blake asks if Chad and Lori seemed upset. Gibb says no.
- 49:01Speaker 1: They were in good moods. Well, when you're evil, of
- 49:04Speaker 1: course you're going to be in a good mood when
- 49:05Speaker 1: you're up to what these two are up to. 1152 a.m.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Blake asked Gibb about Lori referencing that people were after her.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Gibb says she was referring to Kay and Lori's brother
- 49:18Speaker 1: and the police all being after her because she considered
- 49:20Speaker 1: them dark and they knew who she was spiritually. Their
- 49:24Speaker 1: goal was to take JJ and her life may have
- 49:27Speaker 1: been in danger. 11.53 a.m. Blake says in the recording
- 49:31Speaker 1: that Lori mentioned Kay as being dark. Gibb had briefly
- 49:35Speaker 1: met Kay at this point and Blake asked Gibb who
- 49:38Speaker 1: is the sister-in-law Chad was referring to, it was Heather Daybell,
- 49:42Speaker 1: and Gibb had never met her before. 11.55 a.m. Blake
- 49:47Speaker 1: mentions that Chad said Tammy was sick and falling apart,
- 49:50Speaker 1: but he also mentioned that he knew for some time
- 49:53Speaker 1: that she was going to die and have two parts
- 49:55Speaker 1: of his life. He shared that information publicly at a
- 49:58Speaker 1: few conferences that she was going to pass away early,
- 50:01Speaker 1: Gibb says. 11.56 a.m. Gibb says the teachings of Chad
- 50:06Speaker 1: and Lori about multiple lives and light and dark felt
- 50:09Speaker 1: like higher knowledge to them. Lori felt Gibb would be
- 50:12Speaker 1: in trouble for having knowledge of these things and she
- 50:15Speaker 1: would have to account for it in the next life. 11.57 a.m.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Gibb says the teachings about getting married multiple times to
- 50:23Speaker 1: multiple people were a little different. Gibb says she never
- 50:27Speaker 1: 100% believed it. and there was some uncertainty there. Oh,
- 50:31Speaker 1: was there? So this was what you were uncertain about,
- 50:34Speaker 1: just this? How about the whole ass, stupid ass, dumb
- 50:38Speaker 1: ass narrative that was being pitched by Vallow and Daybell?
- 50:42Speaker 1: You were 100% certain in the rest of it, though?
- 50:44Speaker 1: Gibb continues. She was open to some of the ideas,
- 50:47Speaker 1: but didn't fully believe them. Tell me you're crazy without
- 50:50Speaker 1: telling me you're crazy. 11.58 a.m. Time for a lunch break.
- 50:55Speaker 1: We will be back in an hour. And like usual,
- 50:58Speaker 1: that signals our break as well. In the next episode,
- 51:02Speaker 1: we'll pick up with the afternoon session and we'll finish
- 51:05Speaker 1: off our look at the sixth day of the Chad
- 51:08Speaker 1: Daybell trial. All of the information that goes with this
- 51:12Speaker 1: episode can be found in the description box. What's up
- 51:16Speaker 1: everyone and welcome back to the program. We're going to
- 51:20Speaker 1: pick up where we left off with the Chad Daybell
- 51:23Speaker 1: trial and Melanie Gibb on the stand. To do that,
- 51:28Speaker 1: once again, we're using eastidahonews.com and the author of this
- 51:32Speaker 1: article is Nate Eaton. 104 p.m. We're in the courtroom
- 51:36Speaker 1: following lunch and Melanie Gibb is back on the stand.
- 51:39Speaker 1: The attorneys are at their tables and Judge Boyce just
- 51:42Speaker 1: walked in. The jurors will be brought in. 108 p.m.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Blake continues her questioning of Gibb. She asked about the
- 51:50Speaker 1: recording of Chad making comments that Tammy was going to die.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Gibb says when Tammy died, In October of 2019, she
- 51:58Speaker 1: reached out to Lori. Gibbs says it seemed like Lori
- 52:01Speaker 1: already knew of the death. Prior to Tammy's death, Lori
- 52:06Speaker 1: said Tammy was supposed to continue her mission on the
- 52:09Speaker 1: other side of the veil and Tammy would be okay
- 52:12Speaker 1: with Lori and Chad being together. Oh yeah, I'm sure
- 52:15Speaker 1: that she was just over the moon. And she was
- 52:18Speaker 1: willing to martyr herself so that Lori and Chad could
- 52:21Speaker 1: be together and save the world, you know. The prophet, prophetess,
- 52:25Speaker 1: the whole thing. I'm sure Tammy Daybell was just more
- 52:28Speaker 1: than willing to give her life for this bullshit. 1.10 p.m.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Gibb says she heard Tammy referred to as dark at
- 52:36Speaker 1: the end of September or early October of 2019. Chad
- 52:40Speaker 1: labeled people dark. Gibb says Tammy became suspicious about Chad
- 52:44Speaker 1: and Lori, according to Lori. 1.12 p.m. Blake asks if
- 52:49Speaker 1: the teachings of light and dark evolved. Gibb says yes.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Dark people were now zombies. Other teachings evolved. Gibb spoke
- 52:57Speaker 1: to Lori, and Lori mentioned once or twice, if Chad
- 53:01Speaker 1: is Satan, he sure is a good one. That gave
- 53:04Speaker 1: Gibb some indication that Lori had some doubts. 1.13 p.m.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Gibb asked Alex if he is 100% believe zombies were
- 53:13Speaker 1: really true. Alex said he 100% believed it according to Gibb.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Blake has no further questions and Pryor will now cross-examine. 1.15 p.m.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Pryor tells Gib he wants to go through a timeline
- 53:25Speaker 1: with her. He says he wants to talk about Chad, Lori, Alex, David,
- 53:29Speaker 1: and Zulima. Pryor asks Gib when she met Chad, the
- 53:33Speaker 1: summer of 2017. It was at a Preparing the People's conference.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Pryor asks about the conference. Gib says some people shared
- 53:41Speaker 1: about science, some shared about the Book of Mormon, some
- 53:45Speaker 1: shared their visions, and some shared an ancient scripture, some
- 53:49Speaker 1: shared about stars, etc., And all this talk about having visions.
- 53:53Speaker 1: I had a vision one time. It was in 1999
- 53:55Speaker 1: at Lake Dolores during Electric Daisy Carnival. I might have
- 53:59Speaker 1: eaten some mushrooms, but I had a vision. Does that count?
- 54:03Speaker 1: Talk about peak insanity. People showing up to a conference
- 54:06Speaker 1: talking about, oh, let me share my vision that was
- 54:08Speaker 1: given to me by God or the spirits or whoever.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Breaking news, that never happened. 1.17 p.m. Gibbs says she
- 54:17Speaker 1: has been to two mountain retreats and she's been to
- 54:19Speaker 1: a conference. A handful of times. Gibb says she met
- 54:23Speaker 1: her husband at a previous religious conference. 1.18 p.m. Prior
- 54:28Speaker 1: asks if the religious conference are consistent with the LDS faith.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Gibb says mostly. Prior asks about visions and premonitions. He
- 54:36Speaker 1: asks Gibb what the difference is. Gibb says a vision
- 54:39Speaker 1: is something that feels like it's actually happening, while a
- 54:42Speaker 1: premonition is a gut feeling. Oh, well, I must have
- 54:45Speaker 1: premonitions every day of my life because I get a
- 54:48Speaker 1: whole bunch of gut feelings. 1.20 p.m. Pryor asks Gibb
- 54:54Speaker 1: how long she has been married to David Warwick. She
- 54:57Speaker 1: says three and a half years. After they got married,
- 55:00Speaker 1: they lived together nine to ten months, but now they
- 55:03Speaker 1: live in different households by choice. Gibb lives in Arizona
- 55:07Speaker 1: and Warwick lives in Utah. Well, who would have thought
- 55:09Speaker 1: that these two crazy people would end up living apart?
- 55:12Speaker 1: I mean, you can only have so much crazy under
- 55:15Speaker 1: one roof before it explodes, right? 1.25 p.m. Prior asked
- 55:20Speaker 1: Gibb to explain what energy work is. Gibb says a
- 55:23Speaker 1: practitioner communicates with you or your body with a certain
- 55:27Speaker 1: method they use through muscle testing. They ask questions about
- 55:31Speaker 1: what's going on in your body physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally,
- 55:35Speaker 1: and the practitioner uses different ways to help your body
- 55:38Speaker 1: feel better. Literally none of that is true. Nobody's out
- 55:42Speaker 1: here doing a seance and making your charley horse go away.
- 55:45Speaker 1: 127 p.m. Prior asked Gibb what vibrations are. She says
- 55:50Speaker 1: there can be different megahertz and positive or negative vibrations.
- 55:55Speaker 1: She says some people describe spiritual things as vibrations. Gibb
- 56:00Speaker 1: says in general, vibrations are frequency people put off. Prior
- 56:04Speaker 1: asks if the frequency gives revelation. Gibb says not for her. Oh,
- 56:07Speaker 1: but for other people. I hate to break it to you,
- 56:10Speaker 1: Melanie Gibb. But it doesn't work for anybody. None of
- 56:13Speaker 1: this is true. You've been bamboozled. And it's time to
- 56:16Speaker 1: reevaluate your life. 1.29 p.m. Pryor asks if the light
- 56:22Speaker 1: and dark teachings are associated with the LDS church. Gibb
- 56:25Speaker 1: says no. She says it's inconsistent with the church. 1.31 p.m.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Pryor talks about the conference where Lori and Chad first met.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Chad was there to sell books. Pryor asks about the
- 56:37Speaker 1: book that Gibb wrote. She says she started to write
- 56:40Speaker 1: it in the middle of 2018. The book is called
- 56:41Speaker 1: Feel the Fire. The book is about her LDS faith. 1.33 p.m.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Prior lists the names of the police officers Gibb has
- 56:51Speaker 1: spoken to. He mentions Rob Wood and asks how often
- 56:54Speaker 1: she spoke with the prosecutor. Gibb says it was frequent
- 56:58Speaker 1: for a short period of time. 1.34 p.m. Prior asks
- 57:03Speaker 1: about an interview Gibb did with me. Prior says, that's right,
- 57:06Speaker 1: I forgot about Mr. Eaton. Prior then asks about Gibb's
- 57:09Speaker 1: interview with Keith Morrison from Dateline. Pryor asks if there
- 57:13Speaker 1: were conditions put in place for her interview, and Gibb
- 57:16Speaker 1: doesn't think so. 1.37 p.m. Pryor asks Gibb about her
- 57:21Speaker 1: text messages between her and Wood. He says, would it
- 57:24Speaker 1: surprise you to learn that between May 20th and November
- 57:28Speaker 1: 4th of 2020, the two of you exchanged text messages
- 57:31Speaker 1: over 340 times? Gibb says it's possible, but she really
- 57:36Speaker 1: doesn't know. 1.38 p.m. Pryor asks if any time during
- 57:40Speaker 1: her communication with Wood, She needed to protect a person
- 57:44Speaker 1: or organization as part of whether or not she was
- 57:47Speaker 1: going to testify. Gibb says her intent was not to
- 57:50Speaker 1: protect anything other than to share what she knew. 1.40 p.m.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Pryor wants to show Gibb a text message on his
- 57:58Speaker 1: laptop to help her refresh her memory. Blake asks to approach.
- 58:02Speaker 1: The attorneys huddle with Boyce in the corner of the courtroom. 1.43 p.m.
- 58:06Speaker 1: The sidebar is over. The bailiff gives the message to
- 58:11Speaker 1: Gibb that Pryor wants her to read to refresh her memory.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Pryor says in the message that she and Keith Morrison
- 58:18Speaker 1: wanted to make sure the church is protected. Gibb says
- 58:21Speaker 1: it was meant to clarify that these teachings Chad and
- 58:24Speaker 1: Lori were engaged in were not consistent with the teachings
- 58:27Speaker 1: of the LDS church. Pryor reads the text Gibb sent
- 58:33Speaker 1: to Wood. Keith, the guy from Dateline, and I want
- 58:36Speaker 1: to make sure the church is protected. He has done
- 58:39Speaker 1: a good job so far. That's why I feel comfortable
- 58:41Speaker 1: talking with him. 1.47 p.m. Prior asks why Gibbs sent
- 58:46Speaker 1: that to a prosecuting attorney who was prosecuting Chad Daybell.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Gibbs says she felt comfortable talking to Rob to let
- 58:52Speaker 1: him know what she was up to. 1.48 p.m. Prior
- 58:56Speaker 1: asks if this was just a coincidence that she was
- 58:58Speaker 1: trying to protect the church. Blake objects that the statement
- 59:02Speaker 1: is argumentative. Boyce sustains the objection. Pryor moves to admit
- 59:06Speaker 1: to exhibits. Boyce calls for a sidebar. 1.56 p.m. All
- 59:11Speaker 1: the attorneys are back and Pryor is at the podium.
- 59:14Speaker 1: He asks Gibb about where she met Lori. Gibb was
- 59:16Speaker 1: teaching a class about health and nutrition. Blake interrupts and
- 59:20Speaker 1: asks if they can approach. Sidebar on the side of
- 59:22Speaker 1: the courtroom again as white noise is played. 1.59 p.m.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Pryor apparently just published something on the screen in the
- 59:30Speaker 1: courtroom and in front of the jurors. It was very
- 59:32Speaker 1: small print and it was barely legible. Boyce instructs all
- 59:36Speaker 1: the jurors to disregard what was shown. 2 p.m. Pryor
- 59:40Speaker 1: asked Gibb to clarify how often she spoke with Lori.
- 59:43Speaker 1: The daily communication stopped as Lori was moving around. Pryor
- 59:47Speaker 1: asked Gibb if Lori moved somewhere in January of 2019.
- 59:51Speaker 1: She did move from one house to another. house in Arizona.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Lori then moved to Hawaii around February 2019. 2.03 p.m.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Gibbs says she didn't have a relationship with Tylee. Pryor says,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: you folks didn't care to be around each other. Gibbs says,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: that's not true. Pryor goes on to say, just no relationship.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Gibbs says Tylee would not talk to her. And we
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: all know kids have good intuition. So my guess is,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: if Tylee didn't want to talk to Melanie, there was
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: a reason why she didn't want to talk with her.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: I don't know, could it have something to do with
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: her being batshit crazy, maybe? 2.04 p.m. Prior asks how
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: often Gibb spoke with Lori in early 2019. Gibb doesn't remember.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Prior asks if she had spoken to him earlier than today,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: if she may have been able to recall events easier.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Prior asks if Gibb is suffering from forgetfulness today. Gibb
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: says it's a normal forgetting. 2.05 p.m. Prior asks Gibb
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: if she's suffering with forgetfulness through her testimony today. Gibb
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: says a lot of things they are talking about today
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: she has shared often, so those are the things she remembers. 2.06 p.m.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: After the end of March 2019, Gibb says Lori went
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: to stay with Alex in Arizona. Pryor asks about Lori
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: being in Kauai with Tylee. Pryor asks about JJ being
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: with Charles. Gibb says, I would assume. 2.08 p.m. Pryor
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: asks Gibb if she was aware that Charles filed the
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: force proceedings. Gibb is aware. She is also aware that
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: there could have been an attempt at reconciliation between Charles
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: and Lori. Biggest mistake Charles ever made, huh? Dude should
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: have been running for the hills. 2.09 p.m. Gibb doesn't
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: remember how often she was communicating with Lori at this point.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Pryor asks about an issue with Charles, Alex, and Lori
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: at the Arizona home. Pryor asks about the altercation with
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: a bat and Alex going into his bedroom to get
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: his gun. 2.11 p.m. Gibb says at some point she
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: took JJ to school but doesn't know exactly when she
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: left or stayed. Pryor asks if Gibb had any information
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: about Lori's financial information. Gibb says only what Lori shared
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: with her. Pryor asks Gibb if she was aware Lori
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: got life insurance money from Joseph Ryan's death. Gibb says
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: she is aware. 2.13 p.m. Pryor suggests maybe taking an
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: afternoon break. He says he has a bit to go.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Boyce asks for a sidebar. to discuss scheduling. 2.14 p.m.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: We are taking a break. Back in 20 minutes. 2.35 p.m.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Break is over. Attorneys are in the courtroom and Boyce
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: is on the bench. Blake asks if they can approach.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: They are huddled in the corner of the courtroom. 2.37 p.m.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Boyce says there are some issues that need to be
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: put on the record before the jurors come in. He
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: wants to clarify some exhibits that were marked Valo Daybell
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: and wants the name Valo redacted in case the jurors
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: think that there was connection to the other case. 2.39 p.m.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Boyce says the last two defense exhibits were labeled with
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: references that were not appropriate. Boyce says those references need
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: to be removed before they're given to the jury. 2.41 p.m.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Blake says the document published to the jury made reference
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: to the grand jury, preliminary hearing, and Lori Vallow's trial.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Prosecutors are concerned that Pryor showed the item to the jurors.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Pryor says his notes were unintentionally displayed because he didn't
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: unplug his HDMI cord. Well, that's convenient, huh? 2.44 p.m.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Pryor apparently told a bailiff not to touch his computer.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Boyce says the bailiffs are in charge of the courtroom
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: and asked attorneys not to say any editorial comments in
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: front of the jurors. Boyce says the bailiffs have done
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: a fine job in how they've handled the courtroom. 2.45 p.m.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: The jurors are being brought in. This portion of the
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: trial will end at 3.15. There's another hearing at 3.30
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: on a motion for another attorney to intervene in the case.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: And that's something you'll see a lot in cases like this.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: There'll be a motion to intervene by a concerned party
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: or a party that says they're involved. And to do
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: that in an official capacity, you have to file a
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: motion to intervene. And that's what he was referring to
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: here when mentioning the 3.30 p.m. hearing. 2.48 p.m. Jurors
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: are back in the courtroom. Pryor will continue questioning Gibb.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Pryor asks Gibb to clarify how light and dark are
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: not within her faith practice. She says not the way
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Chad and Lori described light and dark. She would not
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: describe someone as light or dark. 2.50 p.m. Pryor asks
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Gibb what portals are. Lori told her it was something
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: she and Chad created by saying a prayer and it
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: was a place they could go to get answers. Pryor
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: asks if most of the information was conveyed to her
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: from Lori. Gibb says she didn't talk to Chad very
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: often and spoke to him around a handful of times. 2.51 p.m.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Pryor asks Gibb if she's relying on what Lori is
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: telling her and doesn't know if what Lori is telling
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: her is the truth. Pryor says Lori has lied to
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: you before and has been unfaithful and untruthful about other things.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Gibb says that's correct. And you can see the strategy
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: here forming. It's Lori Vallow's fault. She's the one who
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: did it. And Chad Daybell, well, he was just an
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: innocent bystander. And in fact, he's a victim of Lori Vallow.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: That's what Pryor is trying to convince the jury of.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: And while I respect the hustle, I don't think it's
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: going to be successful. 2.52 p.m. Pryor asks if, before
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: she recorded the call with Lori and Chad, did she
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: contact law enforcement? She says no. Gibbs says she has
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: no idea how the conversation was going to flow. 2.53 p.m.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Pryor says when he listens to the tape, Lori's response
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: were in the singular. I had to move her. I
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: will do whatever the Lord needs me to do. Pryor
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: says Lori's comments were not we will or they will,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: but I will in the singular. Gibbs says that sounds familiar.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: So remember, they said that Chad Daybell is guilty of conspiracy.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: So what Pryor is trying to do is put some
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: distance between that claim and Chad Daybell. And he's trying
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: to prove here that it was Lori Vallow who was
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: driving this train. And he slams that point home by
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: pointing out all of the I will, I will, I
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: will in Lori Vallow's conversation with Melanie Gibb, trying to
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: stress the point that she wasn't saying we. 2.55 p.m.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Pryor says Gibb lied to the police about JJ in
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: the beginning when he first went missing. Gibb says, sure.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Pryor asks how it played out after her initial lie.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Gibbs says she went to see them personally and told
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: them everything she knew. Pryor says the purpose of her
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: going back to the police was to clear up her
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: initial lie. Gibbs says no. She felt an obligation was
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: to share with them everything she knew. She should have
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: done that in the first place. So I don't think
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Pryor is wrong here for questioning her about why it
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: took her so long. This is one of the questions
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: I've had for a very long time. 2.57pm. Gibbs says
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: it was a difficult moment for her and that's what
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: she did. Pryor asks if her being here today is
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: difficult for Gibb. She says of course it is. Pryor
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: says she's having some struggles because she knows she has
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: information about J.J. Vallow and what happened to him. Gibb
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: says to the best of her knowledge she's sharing what
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: she knows about it. 3 p.m. Gibb says she isn't
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: 100% clear on how often she saw Chad on the
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: weekend when she was in Rexburg. Gibb recalls seeing Chad
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: either the night she arrived or the next evening. 3.01 p.m.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Pryor says on the recording Gibb spoke with Lori about
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: the fact that she was having a relationship with a
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: married man and that she was a married woman. Gibb
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: says she was referencing a Book of Mormon king who
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: had that type of behavior. Pryor asks Gibb if David
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: was still married when they began dating. Blake objects. Boyce sustains. 3.05pm
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Gibb recalls going to see the property. Chad, a realtor, Gibb,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: and David were there. Perhaps Alex too. A couple drove
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: by and spoke to the group. Lori was not there.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: She was at home with her son, Gibb assumes, 3.07 p.m.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: On Sunday evening, David, Gibb, and Lori started recording a
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: podcast around 8 or 9 p.m. and finished around midnight.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Chad was not at the podcast. 3.09 p.m. During the podcast,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Gibb observed Alex carrying JJ with his head on his shoulder.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Gibb doesn't know where Alex put JJ that night. Gibb
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: and David were in JJ's room. Tylee and JJ's rooms
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: were close. Lori's was down the hallway. 3.10pm. After Gibb
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: went to bed, Pryor asked if she assumed Lori went
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: to bed and laid down with JJ. Gibb says yes.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Gibb doesn't know where JJ was that night. Pryor asks
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: about the nightmare vision that David had. Gibb says it
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: was a bad experience and David was very alarmed and
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: upset by it. A grown ass man alarmed and upset
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: that he had a nightmare. What an absolute goofball. 3.11pm.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Gibb tried to get into Lori's bedroom that night because
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: she and David were alarmed. Gibb went back to sleep
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: and woke up around 7 the following morning. She left
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: the house around 9.30am. Pryor asked Gibb if she asked
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: to see JJ before she left. Gibb says it's possible,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: she asked, but doesn't recall what she said. 3.13 p.m.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Pryor says in her testimony with the prosecutors, Gibb was
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: very clear in prosecutors and had no memory loss about
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: zombies and dark and light. Gibb says yes. Pryor says
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: he has more to go, so Gibb will be back
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: on the stand in the morning. Another hearing will be
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: held in about 15 minutes. This part of the trial
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: is done for today. 3.35 p.m. This is an order
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: to show cause hearing. Pryor is at the table with
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Chad Daybell. At the prosecutor's table is attorney Terry Ratliff
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: and another attorney named Mr. Bartlett. Bartlett represents Ratliff. Boyce
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: says Ratliff filed his motion to intervene and continue the
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: trial on Friday before the trial. Boyce says his staff
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: attorney was notified on Easter Sunday that the motion had
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: been filed. Boyce says this caused much commotion on Easter Sunday.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Boyce notes that the motion Continue. Proceedings are misspelled. When
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: I reviewed this, I was angry then, and I think
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: I'm angrier now about what you did, Boyce said. 3.38 p.m.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Boyce says Mr. Ratliff must explain how his pleading complies
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: with Idaho law rule 11. Boyce is clearly irritated. 3.41 p.m.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Boyce explains Idaho rule 11 allows the court to conduct
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: an inquiry on its own initiative, and Boyce says he
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: has questions for Ratliff. You are an attorney who filed
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: something asking me to stop this trial when I don't
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: think you have any legal standing to do that, Boyce says.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Boyce says Ratliff himself must answer questions, not his attorneys. 3.42 p.m.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Boyce says he has questions for Ratliff. Bartlett says he
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: was told by Boyce's clerk two days ago that he
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: could represent his client, and Boyce is changing his mind. 3.44 p.m.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Boyce shuts Bartlett up and says he cannot argue the
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: motion as his client and attorney filed the motion. 3.45pm
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Boyce says he has questions for Michael Ratliff, not his attorney.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Bartlett says he will consult with Ratliff briefly. 3.50pm Boyce
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: is back on the bench. Ratliff says he's willing to
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: answer Boyce's questions. 3.51pm Ratliff filed the wrong case number,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: according to Boyce. Ratliff titled himself as an attorney for
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: the defendant three times in this motion. Ratliff says that
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: was an error because it was in his template. Boyce
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: asks who he's the attorney for. Ratliff says it should
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: have been signed citizen. 3.53 p.m. Ratliff says he was
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: looking for immediate relief concerns he has about the case.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Boyce asks why he was doing it at 11.45 p.m.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: on a Friday night. Trial is scheduled for how many
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: years and you wanted to slow it down the day
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: before it started? Boyce asks. Ratliff says he filed the
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: pleading without permission. of the defendant or his counsel. 3.54 p.m.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Ratliff says it's semantics by filing a citizen versus an attorney.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Boyce says, no, it's absolutely not, and says it's very
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: different filing as a citizen versus an attorney. 3.55 p.m.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Boyce says there is case law that prohibits intervention in
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: a criminal case, and Boyce asks what right Ratliff has
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: to intervene as an attorney or a citizen. Ratliff says,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: according to Idaho law, he can intervene. Ratliff says he
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: was hoping to have a hearing in front of Boyce
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: before the trial started. 3.57 p.m. Ratliff says he was
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: nervous and it was late at night when he filed
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: his motion, thus all the typos and mistakes in his motion.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: What an absolute joke. Get your shit together and fix
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: the typos. 3.58 p.m. Boyce says this was a frivolous
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: filing that cost time, effort, and real loss for the
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: attorneys and the court. Boyce is going to ask defense
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: and prosecution to itemize time spent on this pleading, and
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Ratliff will pay attorney fees for both sides. Court will
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: also itemize billing time. Boyce says he is handing down
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: a sanction that Ratliff pay the fees. 3.59 p.m. Bartlett
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: asks Boyce to address their written filing. Boyce says he
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: can ask, but he may not get them. Bartlett asks
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: to talk to the judge, and Boyce says, I'm done
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: with this issue, and I'm done wasting time on this issue.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: We're in recess. The hearing is over. So Judge Boyce
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: wasn't having it. These guys show up. They try to
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: intervene with this motion and Boyce just absolutely blasts them
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: and smacks it down. So certainly a interesting day inside
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: of the courtroom. A lot of interesting testimony from Melanie Gibb.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: And then this little sideshow here adds a little more flavor. Meanwhile,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Chad Daybell's lawyer, Mr. Pryor, had his best day in
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: court so far, in my opinion, and did a very
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: good job with Melanie Gibb. Now, is it going to
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: move the needle? Probably not. But it was a better day,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: if you will, for Chad Daybell's legal team. But unfortunately
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: for them, I expect those kinds of days to be
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: far and few between. All right, folks, that's going to
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: do it for this one. All of the information that
