- 19:46Speaker 3: News Department here at Ruckus Avenue Radio.
- 19:49Speaker 6: What's that?
- 19:50Speaker 25: This is UN News Today with me Julina Dong. The
- 19:52Speaker 25: headlines in Sudan, women and girls face an impossible choice
- 19:56Speaker 25: over collecting water as the brutal war theer continues. Me Meanwhile,
- 20:00Speaker 25: thousands of seafarers remain stranded in the Strait of Hormuse,
- 20:04Speaker 25: facing prolonged isolation and confinement, and the World Food Program
- 20:08Speaker 25: warns that food aid for Congolese refugees and Brundi is
- 20:11Speaker 25: at risk unless additional funding is secured. In l Obeyed, Sudan,
- 20:18Speaker 25: women and girls are being forced to choose between risking
- 20:21Speaker 25: drone strikes during the day or sexual violence at night
- 20:23Speaker 25: simply to collect water. According to Gender Agency You and Women,
- 20:27Speaker 25: Anna Mudabadi, You and Women's Regional Director warned that due
- 20:31Speaker 25: to drone strikes targeting water sources and distribution points during
- 20:35Speaker 25: daylight hours, women and girls are forced to wait until
- 20:38Speaker 25: after nightfall to collect water and.
- 20:40Speaker 26: At the position that darkness offers protection from aero attacks.
- 20:44Speaker 26: These women in gails. They have been harassed, they've been raped,
- 20:48Speaker 26: and they've been subjected to add the forms of sexual failings,
- 20:52Speaker 26: all while trying to access water.
- 20:55Speaker 25: The warning comes as Sudan's conflict enters its fourth year,
- 20:58Speaker 25: with drone attacks increasingly hitting civilian infrastructure. More than half
- 21:03Speaker 25: a million people live and el obeyed, including eighty three
- 21:06Speaker 25: thousand internally displaced people, most of them women and children.
- 21:10Speaker 25: The water crisis is also heightening fears of disease. As
- 21:13Speaker 25: the rainy season approaches. Cholera is spreading and malnutrition is rising,
- 21:18Speaker 25: particularly among women and girls. Thousands of seafarers remain stranded
- 21:23Speaker 25: in and around the Strait of Hormuse, the U and
- 21:26Speaker 25: Human Rights Office worn on Friday. According to the International
- 21:30Speaker 25: Maritime Organization, at least six thousand seafarers on around four
- 21:34Speaker 25: hundred vessels have been unable to leave the area. Many
- 21:38Speaker 25: others are unaccounted for, believed to be stuck in the
- 21:40Speaker 25: Persian Gulf on a range of smaller vessels, or have
- 21:43Speaker 25: otherwise not been located. Wright's Office spokesperson Shabbia Montu said
- 21:49Speaker 25: at least nine ships carrying ninety three crew members have
- 21:52Speaker 25: been abandoned by their owners at Iranian ports, leaving crews
- 21:56Speaker 25: without wages, supplies, or contact with their families.
- 21:59Speaker 27: The seafarers have been left on their ships to fend
- 22:01Speaker 27: for themselves, without food, water, fuel, medical care, electricity or
- 22:07Speaker 27: means to communicate with their families. They face prolonged isolation
- 22:11Speaker 27: and confinement in a conflict zone, with uncertainty about their
- 22:14Speaker 27: safety and disembarkation, and this is risking a severe tool
- 22:18Speaker 27: on their mental and physical well being.
- 22:20Speaker 25: The warning comes as attacks on civilian vessels continue. Seventeen
- 22:25Speaker 25: seafarers have reportedly been killed since the strikes and counterstrokes
- 22:29Speaker 25: involving the US, Israel, and Iran began, including five in
- 22:32Speaker 25: recent weeks. More than one hundred and thirty thousand refugees
- 22:35Speaker 25: in Burundi, most of them fleeing conflict in the Democratic
- 22:39Speaker 25: Republic of the Congo DRC, could lose life saving food
- 22:42Speaker 25: assistance within months unless urgent funding is secured. The World
- 22:46Speaker 25: Food Program WFP worn on Friday. The agency said it
- 22:50Speaker 25: needs thirty five million dollars to continue food and nutrition
- 22:52Speaker 25: support through August twenty twenty seven. Without new funding, food
- 22:56Speaker 25: distributions will stop entirely from October twenty twenty six. For
- 23:00Speaker 25: people who cannot safely return home and have few ways
- 23:03Speaker 25: to support themselves. WFP food assistance is not optional, it
- 23:07Speaker 25: is what keeps families alive, said the acting country director.
- 23:10Speaker 25: Funding shortages have already forced the agency to cut rations,
- 23:14Speaker 25: leaving refugee families at greater risks of hunger and malnutrition.
- 23:18Speaker 25: Many could be forced to choose between food, shelter and healthcare,
- 23:21Speaker 25: or resort to harmful coping strategies. More than one hundred
- 23:25Speaker 25: thousand people fled eastern DRC to Burundi after violence escalated
- 23:29Speaker 25: in late twenty twenty five, more than doubling the number
- 23:31Speaker 25: of refugees receiving WFP assistants. Julina dong Un.
- 23:35Speaker 3: News, thank you so much for that, Julina, My goodness.

- 32:59Speaker 3: A song called And of course folks were looking forward
- 33:34Speaker 3: to be joined here by Sonny Guttewal today And as
- 33:37Speaker 3: I mentioned to you, Sonny took a personal break there
- 33:39Speaker 3: for a little bit. His mom had actually passed away
- 33:42Speaker 3: from cancer. A very sad time for Sunny there, but
- 33:46Speaker 3: looking forward to having him back on the show today.
- 33:50Speaker 3: And I'll see if I'm going to bring up the topic,
- 33:52Speaker 3: but regardless, it's gonna be great to have him on
- 33:55Speaker 3: the air stand by for Sunny.
- 34:00Speaker 33: You are how many cacad car just because of the

- 36:09Speaker 33: Jimmy and Cover, who say Jimmick Cover, Jimmy and Me,
- 36:21Speaker 33: USh Chasey and the series at.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Lucy Jimmy, Ladies and gentlemen, Let's bring in our good friend.
- 36:52Speaker 3: You know, we haven't had him on the show for
- 36:54Speaker 3: a little while, but it's our brother, Sonny. How are
- 36:56Speaker 3: you sunny?
- 36:58Speaker 4: I'm being well man. He's been a bill trying time
- 37:00Speaker 4: for me and our family. But you know, as they say,
- 37:04Speaker 4: you go through it one day at a time. So
- 37:07Speaker 4: you know it's something that I can share with you.
- 37:09Speaker 4: And you know you've been supportive ROCKETSAVN. You've been so
- 37:12Speaker 4: supportive and had a really good response from all the
- 37:15Speaker 4: lovely people that follow me and Shae and Sonny and
- 37:18Speaker 4: Shay and you know, there's there's been a lot of
- 37:21Speaker 4: love and support and some really you know, priceless advice
- 37:26Speaker 4: that sort of hit home every time. And and so
- 37:30Speaker 4: I just, without being too vague, my mom, unfortunately, after
- 37:34Speaker 4: a two and a half year success on fighting with cancer,
- 37:41Speaker 4: her body let her down, and then she suffered a
- 37:43Speaker 4: cardiac arresta I'm afraid, and even though the cancer didn't
- 37:47Speaker 4: take her, but the heart just was, you know, it
- 37:52Speaker 4: was it was working on forty percent and it just
- 37:55Speaker 4: took a bit of a toll with all the medication
- 37:58Speaker 4: and with the pneumonia that.
- 37:59Speaker 26: Hit her after.
- 38:00Speaker 4: So in a nutshell, you know, she she beat the
- 38:04Speaker 4: cancer in the sense that that's not what took her. Ultimately,
- 38:08Speaker 4: it was just other organs that were sort of affected
- 38:11Speaker 4: with the strain of the treatment. And obviously you know
- 38:16Speaker 4: her age as well.
- 38:19Speaker 3: From not only everyone here at the Bridge, but everybody
- 38:22Speaker 3: at Rockass Avenue Radio, our listeners and everybody wanted to
- 38:25Speaker 3: send our condolences to you, Sonny, into the whole family.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Thank you, Thank you.
- 38:29Speaker 3: I of course notified our audience today right before you
- 38:33Speaker 3: came on the aras to why it is that they
- 38:35Speaker 3: had heard from you in a while and from thank you. Well,
- 38:40Speaker 3: it was very important that they that they know that
- 38:42Speaker 3: and I know that for our audience and for us
- 38:44Speaker 3: that it's a tight knit community, as we like to say.
- 38:47Speaker 3: And so for oh, they missed your they missed your presence.
- 38:51Speaker 3: You know, they all of a sudden, they were hearing
- 38:53Speaker 3: from you every week and and then one day they don't,
- 38:55Speaker 3: And of course, without divulging into personal details at the
- 38:58Speaker 3: particular moment, just kind of for the audience sake, just
- 39:01Speaker 3: kind of brush it aside and carry on with other stuff,
- 39:03Speaker 3: but not knowing that there's a really big reason behind that.
- 39:07Speaker 3: And it goes beyond just us being on the air
- 39:11Speaker 3: as personalities or hosts or whatever it might be. Man Sonny,
- 39:15Speaker 3: Sometimes life just takes over. Oh listen, I listen.
- 39:20Speaker 4: That's exactly how life should be. That's something my mom
- 39:22Speaker 4: lived for, was life and you know, and we are
- 39:27Speaker 4: going to be posting up her last message that she
- 39:30Speaker 4: wanted to share with the world with her with her
- 39:33Speaker 4: journey living with cancer because she knew she could never
- 39:36Speaker 4: beat the cancer because you were stage four. And every
- 39:40Speaker 4: given day after the six months died, you know, after
- 39:42Speaker 4: they said, look you are to the six months, and
- 39:44Speaker 4: after the sixth month, the first hour of that it
- 39:49Speaker 4: was a gift. Every day after that was a gift.
- 39:52Speaker 4: And we were here with we were here with my dad, me,
- 39:58Speaker 4: my wife, my little daughter her, you know, and when
- 40:01Speaker 4: they could my brother and sister. You know, life is
- 40:04Speaker 4: something that is so pleating that we want to fill
- 40:08Speaker 4: it with the people we love. And if we can
- 40:11Speaker 4: make their journey easier by supporting them, I think it
- 40:16Speaker 4: makes your life more enriched. So right now I'm not
- 40:19Speaker 4: I'm not mourning my mom. I'm celebrating her life and
- 40:22Speaker 4: her messages, and hopefully in the fifty years I was
- 40:25Speaker 4: blessed with her time with me, most of her, you know,
- 40:30Speaker 4: the best of me came from her. And if I
- 40:33Speaker 4: can put that into practice moving on, maybe I'll make
- 40:36Speaker 4: her proud of me, proud of her, sorry more than me.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I know how close you are to your mom,
- 40:43Speaker 3: and obviously how Cloche is to your mom as well,
- 40:46Speaker 3: and just how much of a role that she played
- 40:48Speaker 3: in your life and and also with your daughter, as
- 40:51Speaker 3: you mentioned, and and to your point, there was there
- 40:55Speaker 3: was such a sunny disposition to punintended by the way
- 40:58Speaker 3: sunny disposition of her, you know, in terms of how
- 41:02Speaker 3: she carried herself in such a positive way. I just
- 41:04Speaker 3: always remembered her smiling every time I've ever met her.
- 41:07Speaker 3: And and so from that sense that I get the
- 41:09Speaker 3: feeling that you know, there's you're kind of carrying that
- 41:13Speaker 3: on here, and I and you know, I feel that
- 41:17Speaker 3: as you're celebrating her life and as you put her
- 41:20Speaker 3: story out there for everybody to learn and get to see.
- 41:23Speaker 3: I've one of the parts of this, part of the
- 41:25Speaker 3: story that I've really liked about how you've done this,
- 41:28Speaker 3: is you've you've embraced the grief in a way where
- 41:33Speaker 3: it's channeled in a way where as you said, you're
- 41:35Speaker 3: celebrating her life, and it feels different.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Yeah, oh, one hundred percent. I mean like from the
- 41:41Speaker 4: day that you got hard diagnosed my grieving side and
- 41:45Speaker 4: that was to two and a half three years ago,
- 41:48Speaker 4: and and I didn't realize at that time. While I
- 41:51Speaker 4: was with my mom, I was grieving. And the grieving
- 41:54Speaker 4: process is something that I gets. I've learned to honor
- 41:58Speaker 4: it and every stage of it, and they are and
- 42:02Speaker 4: I'm not going to lie to you. There are days
- 42:04Speaker 4: where I'm devastated. I can't put a sentence together, and
- 42:07Speaker 4: I can't get myself out of my head, and you
- 42:10Speaker 4: don't want to get up in the morning because the
- 42:12Speaker 4: one thing that made this, you know, this world variable,
- 42:17Speaker 4: was that one individual who knew you better than you
- 42:20Speaker 4: knew yourself is not there anymore. And it just felt scary,
- 42:24Speaker 4: it felt, it felt heavy, it felt it still feels
- 42:30Speaker 4: I'm saying it still feels heavy, it still feels and
- 42:33Speaker 4: that one individual who you know, like, no matter what
- 42:36Speaker 4: happened in the world, you come home and you share
- 42:38Speaker 4: it with them and they just make you feel it's okay,
- 42:42Speaker 4: and that element is almost all Like I don't have
- 42:45Speaker 4: that anymore. But at the same time, I have surrounded
- 42:50Speaker 4: myself with people who remind me every day we got
- 42:53Speaker 4: this and you're not alone. And as a human race,
- 42:58Speaker 4: we thrive on other people. And hopefully we've built up
- 43:02Speaker 4: enough network when someone special leaves us that we have
- 43:07Speaker 4: got those individuals who will give us that kind of
- 43:09Speaker 4: emotional support and also we can give back to them
- 43:12Speaker 4: as well. So right now I'm honoring the grief itself.
- 43:16Speaker 4: And you know, grief doesn't come on its own. It
- 43:21Speaker 4: comes after a great love or a great a great
- 43:26Speaker 4: investment in something or someone so that your job, be it,
- 43:32Speaker 4: that is one of your relationships, or it might even
- 43:35Speaker 4: be some object, object that you've spent and you know,
- 43:39Speaker 4: worshiped or you've worked towards. If it gets destroyed, if
- 43:43Speaker 4: you lose it, you will feel that kind of grief
- 43:47Speaker 4: or that kind of loss, and that's where I'm at
- 43:49Speaker 4: the moment, honoring that sort of feeling in whatever stage
- 43:52Speaker 4: it comes and hits me.
- 43:55Speaker 3: We're looking forward to come celebrating with you this Monday
- 43:58Speaker 3: with your show coming back on the air again.
- 44:01Speaker 4: And I'm very excited.
- 44:02Speaker 5: I'm very excited.
- 44:03Speaker 3: I'm imagining that, you know, much of the life story,
- 44:07Speaker 3: as always on the show, off the stream, is going
- 44:10Speaker 3: to be covered by Sonny and Shay as they always do,
- 44:13Speaker 3: and this being such a big chapter, I'm sure we're
- 44:16Speaker 3: going to hear more about this and just cha.
- 44:20Speaker 4: I think, yeah, I think. Listen, one thing is guaranteed
- 44:23Speaker 4: is that, you know, we don't get a choice when
- 44:25Speaker 4: we turn up on this planet and this experience what
- 44:29Speaker 4: we call life. And the other thing that we don't
- 44:31Speaker 4: have a full control of is when we say goodbye
- 44:33Speaker 4: to this experience and this amazing opportunity of being a
- 44:37Speaker 4: human being where we can function with whatever tools that
- 44:42Speaker 4: we have been gifted from our genetics. So that is
- 44:46Speaker 4: definitely going to be a part of the conversation and grief,
- 44:50Speaker 4: you know, and you know, death and life and everything
- 44:53Speaker 4: happens in between. We're going to try to cover it
- 44:56Speaker 4: on the stream.
- 44:58Speaker 3: Love it, brother, love it, love it, Love it, Sonny.
- 45:00Speaker 3: I wanted to thank you for coming on on on
- 45:03Speaker 3: general level, not only for today sharing your story, but
- 45:07Speaker 3: I want to applaud and congratulate you for your openness.
- 45:12Speaker 28: And just how.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Sharing you have been about this experience. A lot of
- 45:18Speaker 3: people would not have the you know, the courage to
- 45:21Speaker 3: even step out like that and to tell their story
- 45:23Speaker 3: and in a way that, as you put it, celebrates
- 45:26Speaker 3: your mom's life and Sunny to us, it does feel
- 45:29Speaker 3: like that. It feels like you're celebrating your life and
- 45:31Speaker 3: we're happy that you're doing that. And so thank you
- 45:34Speaker 3: and thanks for you know, beginning this process of making
- 45:38Speaker 3: it out of this very tough spot in life.
- 45:41Speaker 4: Thank you. And can I just say again to the
- 45:43Speaker 4: team and to yourself and your family who have been
- 45:47Speaker 4: so gracious and been so giving in this more challenging
- 45:50Speaker 4: time for all of us. So I just want to
- 45:52Speaker 4: say thank you to you, and also the listeners. Some
- 45:55Speaker 4: of them have come on Sunny and Shade platforms and
- 45:58Speaker 4: have done top messages which should we totally appreciate that
- 46:01Speaker 4: have come from you know, the bridge, because that's what
- 46:04Speaker 4: I'm mostly known for at the moment and those messages
- 46:07Speaker 4: you know on Sanny and Shay on Instagram, Facebook, Twittern,
- 46:10Speaker 4: all of those cases. We've got messages coming through from America,
- 46:13Speaker 4: and I was just like, I didn't realize that we
- 46:15Speaker 4: were making that much of an impact with this amazing
- 46:18Speaker 4: station that I'm part of, and and I hope we
- 46:22Speaker 4: can keep providing this quality and this kind of openness
- 46:26Speaker 4: where people are feeling that we are part of the community,
- 46:29Speaker 4: and the community is a much wider one than we
- 46:32Speaker 4: normally put ourselves into those boxes. So I'm looking forward
- 46:35Speaker 4: to that and thank you all.
- 46:37Speaker 3: Setting our love to shave Brother, thank you God bless
- 46:41Speaker 3: Hi and everybody. That's the great Sunny got it. While
- 46:44Speaker 3: so happy to hear from him, and we'll have him

- 46:49Speaker 3: about it after the.

- 49:09Speaker 3: you may be around the world. Thank you all for
- 49:12Speaker 3: listening in. I want to give a big shout out
- 49:14Speaker 3: to Sunny Guttuwal for joining us today as well. What
- 49:18Speaker 3: a special treat it was to get him back. And
- 49:20Speaker 3: now let's bring Induita to the show. What's up Hi?
- 49:23Speaker 11: Everyone?
- 49:23Speaker 29: This is Theta Da Skupta Urukasavni Radio Music correspondent back
- 49:27Speaker 29: with another artist spotlight. We're spotlighting Madhuwante Bacci, the Indian
- 49:31Speaker 29: playback singer and composer who's classically trained voice has become
- 49:35Speaker 29: one of Bollywood's most captivating sounds. Born in Butler Cut,
- 49:38Speaker 29: West Bengal, she steeped in Hindustani classical music from the
- 49:42Speaker 29: Aqua Karana, which gives her film performance is a rare
- 49:45Speaker 29: depth and emotional texture. Her big breakout came with the
- 49:49Speaker 29: viral hit Achchiat from Street to, a sensational sound that
- 49:53Speaker 29: not only topped Indian charts but also resonated internationally, amassing
- 49:57Speaker 29: hundreds of millions of streams and views. Over the last
- 50:00Speaker 29: few years, she's become a go to voice for major composers,
- 50:03Speaker 29: laying down tracks for films Sakhira, Mundi, Bush Patou and
- 50:07Speaker 29: many others across Hindi and Bengali cinema. In twenty twenty five,
- 50:12Speaker 29: she continued her momentum in film music, including singing Sharaat
- 50:16Speaker 29: alongside Jasmin Sundless for the Thunder soundtrack, a vibrant track
- 50:20Speaker 29: that's already grabbing attention on social media and screens nationwide.
- 50:24Speaker 29: Known for her versatility from heartfel ballots to high energy
- 50:27Speaker 29: anthems and fusion pieces and a growing international live presence.
- 50:32Speaker 29: Madu Wande's blend of classical fitness and contemporary flair sets
- 50:36Speaker 29: her apart.
- 50:37Speaker 11: Well, that's all for me.
- 50:38Speaker 29: Stay tuned for more only on Ruckus Avenue Radio.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Thank you so much. Douta Yeah. Mother Bante is a
- 50:44Speaker 3: good friend and she I've met her a few times
- 50:47Speaker 3: and in my conversations with her, I get the feeling
- 50:52Speaker 3: that she's out there looking for yet another frontier in
- 50:56Speaker 3: her career. There's another layer there in her career that
- 51:00Speaker 3: she's going to go get and you only know it's
- 51:04Speaker 3: coming because she's already done it many times over to
- 51:07Speaker 3: get to where she is now. This is her collaboration
- 51:10Speaker 3: with Shiki.
- 51:13Speaker 21: Manuki padasab don't know hi, Manuki Bada don't know Hi,

- 54:12Speaker 3: Bacci before this song. But let's get some flowers to
- 54:16Speaker 3: shake her up. Yianni as well. He comes across to
- 54:19Speaker 3: me like the consummate professional, and he works so well
- 54:23Speaker 3: with so many other artists that you get the feeling
- 54:25Speaker 3: that he's an amazing collaborator, and there is an art
- 54:29Speaker 3: form to that in itself. Those two ingredients together are
- 54:33Speaker 3: being really good at your craft and then being really
- 54:35Speaker 3: good with people. Can do great. Shake her of Gianni, everybody,
- 54:40Speaker 3: This is great, Hunkeran and Loy. The song is called
