- 0:00All right what's up everyone it is friday it
- 0:03is we are we actually got a lot to dive into
- 0:06today it is time to get offensive that might what do you think about jesse when
- 0:11i say that what is you gonna talk about it's not in the normal sense of just
- 0:15being offensive for being offensive sake i'm talking about instead of being
- 0:19defensive reactive being offensive in our life in our life Because,
- 0:25I mean, this is just something I'll start off with this.
- 0:28I, every time I feel like the, whatever we want to call him,
- 0:32the devil, the evil one, Satan, whatever, the attack of the,
- 0:35of the, of the enemy, I always feel like I just recoil.
- 0:40And I think that if I just, if I just recoil and I just get in the fetal position,
- 0:44he'll, he'll leave me alone.
- 0:46But that's like the opposite of what reality is. He doesn't stop that.
- 0:52He's not going to stop his attacking. And I think as Christians and just life
- 0:57in general, we should be on the offensive.
- 1:00That's the only way that we're going to defeat those who are against us.
- 1:04And you can take this to any aspect of life. I'm just saying like we got to
- 1:08change our perspective and just be completely going forward in everything we do.
- 1:14Because in this is biblical, it says the gates of hell or is that what it says?
- 1:19The gates of hell will not prevail. like jesus said that the gates of hell will
- 1:24not prevail but and that is like satan and his,
- 1:28minions or whatever they're the ones on the defense they're the ones that are
- 1:32having gates but as christians and as just humanity in general we are the ones
- 1:37that should be on the offense,
- 1:39so i'll start with that it's good what are you thinking i don't know is it because
- 1:44like they know eventually they're going to be defeated and so they're aren't
- 1:48they on the offensive though,
- 1:50I think, well, they want to be.
- 1:53They want to be capturing souls and deluding people and deceiving people and
- 1:58keeping people, you know, out of God's kingdom and keep keeping people in darkness.
- 2:03That's what they want to be doing. But I'm not even this. I mean, the big picture.
- 2:08That's what it is. That's the main thing. As Christians, as believers,
- 2:11we should be on the offensive, I think, you know, taking back God's turf,
- 2:17you know, because we are behind enemy lines. and let's be taking back,
- 2:21And just expanding God's kingdom. But this can apply to anything,
- 2:25you know? I just... What are you thinking, Jesse? I need to know.
- 2:29Keep going. What else do you think? So, I mean, like...
- 2:33Go ahead, Bonnie. If you have... You can chime in. Someone has said hi. Who is it? Is it...
- 2:40I don't know how to say. It's just H-I-N-D-78. Cool.
- 2:46Well, hey, what's up? Jesse, you should have pulled yours up so you could see as well.
- 2:50Just in case but it'd probably
- 2:53just take forever you're trying to switch it up yeah go ahead just on
- 2:56that i'm just saying like in general like
- 2:59all of life we should be if we
- 3:02if we got someone waving us down what body we got our we got our new jamie if
- 3:06you if you're familiar with joe rogan we have a jamie in the house and her name
- 3:11is bonnie go ahead bonnie you can say so they can Thank you for following the
- 3:17thing I just said. Oh, I N D 78.
- 3:20Okay, cool. Well, thank you. If you have any more comments, let us know. Yeah.
- 3:25And Bonnie, feel free. You can chime in and say stuff as well,
- 3:28but like in general and just in life in general, I think if we,
- 3:31if we are people that just sit back and let life pass us by and let,
- 3:36let life hit us in the face.
- 3:37If we're not out there making moves, you can take this in a business sense.
- 3:41You can take, take this in any part of your life.
- 3:44You know don't be like just a person that's just
- 3:47reactive but proactive keep going by you
- 3:49can just jump in and say whatever and she said well
- 3:52that's my name oh well that's
- 3:55awesome yeah but yeah if you you
- 3:58can see him in front of you you give him a shout out that's awesome that's awesome
- 4:02well okay they're reminding me don't just
- 4:04sit back okay so if i have a couple like
- 4:07good friends they would say like
- 4:10about their kids that are kind of getting older and you know
- 4:13they'll be like well i don't want to push i don't want
- 4:15to push you know jesus on them or religion on them
- 4:18i don't have to decide for themselves you know it's like
- 4:21they don't i don't know like when they're young or
- 4:24when they oh i mean they're installing in
- 4:26their house multiple people have said that you know they're just so they're
- 4:29just sitting back and like seeing like their own kids takes yeah like i don't
- 4:34know what do you think about that i mean you have to i don't know you got to
- 4:37present you know present God to them like but maybe they're just not very strong
- 4:41in themselves so they just don't know or it's not a priority you know I guess yeah.
- 4:47Yeah i mean i you don't want to shove it down their throat anybody's
- 4:50throat you know but you got to present it and it's like the
- 4:53most important decision of their life you can't just let
- 4:55it let them well they'll decide if they go to church or
- 4:58they'll decide if they want to like you have to i mean you don't just let them
- 5:02decide to eat candy all the all the time i remember you know but i so i mean
- 5:06like are with these few people that like from like they were christians when
- 5:12like when their kids got like were born,
- 5:17when their kids were born or did they become Christians later in life?
- 5:22Because I mean I would just think right off from the get go introducing Jesus
- 5:26to them, to your kids and having just woven into every part of your life I guess
- 5:32it's just not all that important as a family or something but.
- 5:37I'm just going to let them decide well yeah they're.
- 5:40Going to decide but like when they're little you have to show them
- 5:43the right way oh yeah you can't force them
- 5:46to make a decision for jesus but you can yeah decide
- 5:50for them to show them the right way are
- 5:53they kind of hesitant to like share price with
- 5:56their kids or they just what or is it kind of like that then
- 5:59the culture today just you let them make
- 6:02their own choices kind of thing i mean that's how i get it and so
- 6:05we just don't want to be a person that's forcing it down their throat
- 6:08that's what they kind of feel like i guess maybe i
- 6:12mean that is definitely like you people parents today
- 6:15are sometimes about like they don't even want to decide what their kid's gender
- 6:18is and let them decide but it's
- 6:22we i think we've we're past that i
- 6:25think we've moved past that you know i saw elon musk
- 6:28he tweeted out for from 4000 bc to 20
- 6:322020 we had two genders
- 6:35and then from 2021 to 2024 there were and
- 6:38he put like seven he put like 72
- 6:41and then it changed and like but now we're back to two
- 6:44genders because everything is flip flip back
- 6:47you know everything is i mean just this like week like mark zuckerberg and facebook
- 6:53they have come on board on like they're going they're like reacting back to
- 6:59all the the crazy wokeness and all that stuff that has been like our life for the last four years or.
- 7:07But, and they're, they've removed tampons from the boys' bathrooms.
- 7:11And that's what people were up in arms against at Facebook.
- 7:15Oh my god so they're kind of like together like secretly
- 7:18quietly forming a coalition to kind
- 7:21of go against the boss and the
- 7:24new kind of rules by just taking tampons
- 7:28out of the boys bathrooms i mean i think we understand
- 7:32that that was that's silly i would say
- 7:35that that's silly why it all by doing that
- 7:38is just allowing it's perpetuating people
- 7:41being in a confused state you know what
- 7:44do you think about all that i just always want to just shy away almost from
- 7:47it and just people are gonna think what they want to think and i
- 7:50just got i just gotta love them anyway i mean
- 7:54yeah obviously no matter what anybody thinks like they're they're just as valuable
- 7:59and in god's eyes as anybody else you know 100 yeah oh yeah i mean like it's
- 8:05not to say anyone's ever better like no one's ever no one's in this on this
- 8:09planet is better than anyone else you know we don't we We know that,
- 8:12but just like, we got to stand for truth.
- 8:15You know, we got, and you got to pick your battles. What's something to fight and die on, you know?
- 8:20Like, I mean, yeah. Cause a lot of things like, go ahead.
- 8:23The same person said, I became a Christian a year ago. And after that,
- 8:27my life changed a lot and I became happier. Oh my gosh. Wow.
- 8:32That's awesome. Well, praise God. That's awesome.
- 8:35Yeah. I know. I mean, for me, like it definitely, like it made my life better
- 8:40overall when I became a Christian, but that's not how it always is for everybody.
- 8:46It can make it a lot more complicated and a lot harder in a lot of ways.
- 8:51Especially where you were overseas.
- 8:53You could be... What would they do to you?
- 8:57Not you, but in a Muslim family, if you weren't converted to Christianity, what would they do?
- 9:03Yeah, I mean, in most parts of the world like that, I mean, you would be basically...
- 9:10Sent to camps to re get
- 9:13reeducated re indoctrinated you know i guess
- 9:16there is different extremists and extreme positions in
- 9:20places and even where i was at it was there was
- 9:23elements of that where it was that it was that crazy but then there was where
- 9:26a lot of people it's just like in christianity some people are more fanatic
- 9:30about christianity as opposed to other people but in islam it can be life or
- 9:34death you know it's sure i mean your own family would kill you it's like like or.
- 9:40Have you your mind like sent somewhere
- 9:43so you become learn the right way again you
- 9:46know kind of thing kind of put so it's it's definitely it's not
- 9:49like christianity christianity people can we have
- 9:52freedom in that you might get shunned depending on what part
- 9:55of christianity you're in you know by your family so
- 9:58i mean but in different parts of the world like i
- 10:01i think in sudan africa where i was at it wasn't as
- 10:04crazy as it as like maybe some of
- 10:07like other places if you say you went into saudi arabia or
- 10:11something like that like that would be like very conservative
- 10:14muslim and all that go ahead
- 10:17bonnie the person said true 100 that's yeah
- 10:21it's so after you became a christian when you were in college
- 10:24did your did the friends that you hang out
- 10:27with your frat or did like well you left
- 10:29right after that was right the day before you for the summer right yeah
- 10:33i'm just wondering if anyone like rejected you because
- 10:36of your new beliefs oh no i mean no and i i remember just talking to people
- 10:41i i talked to people there that like were christians like the whole time i was
- 10:45there and just they like immediately thought like wow you sound really mature
- 10:49and there was a weirdness like i like whenever i became a christian like i felt like i was.
- 10:56Really mature in a sense in a sense like in
- 10:59knowledge wise i was like but then in a lot of things
- 11:01i guess i wasn't but and like he it was just a
- 11:04person that his dad's a pastor and everything like that and he was very surprised
- 11:08on like just the way i was able to communicate and everything like that and
- 11:11because my whole like like perspective and everything changed and my my actions
- 11:17changed completely you know and and it definitely was different you know for
- 11:22a lot of people but yeah But what do you think about being offensive, Jesse?
- 11:26I do not like to be offensive. Why not? Oh, wait. Not like offensive.
- 11:32Offensive. Going after it. Is it the same word we're talking about?
- 11:36It's the same word, but just a different meaning?
- 11:38Yeah. When someone says that's offensive, it means you're offended.
- 11:43You don't. You're offended. Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:46That's not what you're talking about. You're talking about being on the offensive. Being on the offense.
- 11:52On the offense. It's Patrick Mahomes on the offense. And what are we going after? God.
- 11:57Truth. Truth. Tearing down the lies of the evil one. Getting people out of darkness.
- 12:05Sharing the truth and light of Christ to everyone.
- 12:08But I mean, this doesn't have to.
- 12:12For me, it's primarily that. It's primarily about Christ.
- 12:16It's primarily about that. But like in just in my just my my psyche, my my own my own mental.
- 12:24How i see the world and how i react to everything in life
- 12:27how i live my life if i if i
- 12:30am a person that just lets life hit me in the face and i'm
- 12:33not going out and doing it i'm not going
- 12:35to be the strong person that i that i
- 12:38believe god has made me to be i'm going to kind of just sit
- 12:41back and recoil and just just take it as i
- 12:44i get it as opposed to making things happen that's what
- 12:47i'm kind of getting at maybe is i i mean
- 12:50from your perspective like me saying i know this this
- 12:53isn't earth earth shattering but like
- 12:56to me it was a complete mind shift because i today like i
- 12:59mean in most days like i do feel like a like there's
- 13:02a cloud over me and i just and i i
- 13:05feel just ostracized sometimes i feel
- 13:08like you know out of the cliques of everyone you know everybody's got a clique
- 13:11everybody's got you know social people that they're around and who they hang
- 13:16with and i'm kind of like on the outside in a lot of ways and sometimes i can
- 13:21feel defeated as And as opposed to just like taking it and just,
- 13:25and, and just going about my life.
- 13:27If I, if I sit back and I just do that, I'm going to just spiral out of control
- 13:33and not because it's going to turn out bad.
- 13:36And it's just like put, plant my feet down and saying, no, hell no, I'm fighting back.
- 13:42I'm going to make, I'm going to fight against like the, the.
- 13:45Whatever, whatever it is in my life, you know, whether it's just,
- 13:48just it could be depression for somebody. It could be just sadness.
- 13:53It was just like, just feeling, feeling like crap, you know,
- 13:55feeling like whatever it is being just stressed out over work,
- 13:59stressed out over bills, stressed out over whatever.
- 14:02If I'm just going to just like take it and just kind of get defeated.
- 14:05I don't think that that's as a person or as a human we
- 14:08should be we should be conquering we should
- 14:11be you know hunting we should be
- 14:14like making things happen like you know and it applies
- 14:17in business and and just in life in general i
- 14:20think yeah i know like this is
- 14:23probably not the same thing but like when like a kid is being bad
- 14:26don't say don't do that because something
- 14:29has to fill that void of what they're going to do so you say let's go do this
- 14:35and you do something else you know so instead of just being sad don't just say
- 14:40don't be sad go do something you want to do or be productive i don't know oh
- 14:45yeah yeah you have to replace it with something else yeah.
- 14:49Exactly you have to fill it you can't like
- 14:52some things are are too
- 14:55good to let go and if you let go of them you got
- 14:58to have something to to that's going to be just as good or better otherwise
- 15:02you're going to be just sucked back into whatever it
- 15:05is you know whether i mean you're like you're something
- 15:10that defeats you could be different than someone else video games could be something
- 15:13that like messes with you and just makes you feel worthless because you just
- 15:19get sucked into them and you can't let you can't do anything else or whatever
- 15:23i mean it's different for everyone you You know, I mean,
- 15:26just not maybe not even having the courage to go out and be social with other people,
- 15:32you know, because you just you're just you're scared because you don't want
- 15:35to open yourself up to anyone because you just know everybody's you feel like
- 15:39everybody's going to just not accept you.
- 15:42You know, you feel you know what I mean? And you just kind of just that's action reality.
- 15:46That's the one thing that makes people accept you. What is when you open up?
- 15:51Because they're like me, too. you know if you're always like
- 15:54you don't get to glimpse into my life at all and like oh i'm
- 15:56good i'm okay then that's how
- 15:59people are gonna see you if you open up
- 16:02and share about your life and stuff they feel connected to
- 16:05you so what do you like because i this is something i've struggled
- 16:08with like if you're like just having interaction with people like
- 16:11you're trying to develop friendships develop just
- 16:15small talk i don't even know should you be talking more about yourself or should
- 16:20you be talking about them should it be them i i i agree with that but then like
- 16:25you do also got to give some of yourself otherwise they don't have anything
- 16:30to come back with i guess it's different i always that's true now it's not all
- 16:34that different boys and girls.
- 16:35You don't know i i i didn't say anything i was i i
- 16:39didn't say anything i but yeah you you get someone
- 16:42else to open up first and then if they're
- 16:46good conversationalists they'll throw the ball back conversationalists you
- 16:50know like not everybody's that you know and i and i'm definitely
- 16:53not that you know like i just it's not it's not
- 16:56easy sometimes you know i i can't i can't stand small
- 16:59talk i don't want to talk well that's not see
- 17:02i don't think you like to open up about yourself like I want to tell everything
- 17:05I want to say oh this person I just met oh my
- 17:08whatever is wrong in my life and
- 17:11that connects you instantly and that's not small talk
- 17:14small talk is about the weather are you how are you I'm good that's
- 17:17small talk you know like problems in
- 17:21your life is but they're vulnerable and you
- 17:24never know well I mean guys a lot of times
- 17:27don't want to like be vulnerable with people you know they're
- 17:29not they they're i think they do bonnie did
- 17:32you have something that same person said i honestly sometimes
- 17:36have that you know that i'm
- 17:39unlucky and friendships oh gosh
- 17:42i could i could get on my box of soap and and go forever about that oh my gosh
- 17:49yeah like just i feel i reach other's friend yeah like you know i'm kind of
- 17:55like bobby boucher i don't have the social skills so it's it's different it's
- 18:00different for everyone you know i.
- 18:02But like what what there's
- 18:04nothing better than having a friend a good friend
- 18:07you know that that's what i mean even people that go to church they're trying
- 18:10to they a lot of times they want to you want they want community they want they
- 18:14want to share something share life with together with someone you know and you
- 18:18don't want to just be a lone ranger christian you know you don't want to just
- 18:21be out there just doing your own thing and you just,
- 18:25people want a sense of belonging. They crave it.
- 18:28Everybody wants community, even though there's that whole, the whole introvert
- 18:32thing, you know, but like, even I, even though I would say I'm an introvert
- 18:35in a lot of ways, I still long for and desire on my own terms.
- 18:40That's what it is. You want your, like, and that's, I think that's the mindset
- 18:44I need to get out of, you know, I need to not have everything just be exactly
- 18:49perfect in the way I want it to be, you know, and open up with other people, you know?
- 18:55But what do you think, Jesse? You open up to the world.
- 18:59I know, and I try, I want to. I want to, like, as much as I can,
- 19:02you know, and as much as people will receive it, you know?
- 19:06And I... I think that you think that people think just, I think,
- 19:14just, you're thinking wrong.
- 19:16I probably am. You think people don't want to get to know you or something.
- 19:20Oh, I mean, I, yeah, I mean, I, I definitely don't feel like close to like most
- 19:26people, you know, I'm, I am on like, I feel like I'm on an island,
- 19:31you know, even though I'm very, like I got family and everything like that.
- 19:34But like, in a lot of ways, I do feel like I'm on an island,
- 19:37you know, and you do just crave, you know, closeness with other people,
- 19:42you know, but it's, it's tough, you know?
- 19:44And so maybe like, maybe God's made me that way for a reason.
- 19:48Maybe maybe i'm wired that
- 19:51way for a reason you know i mean in our
- 19:54life like i mean when would you have
- 19:58a friend like i have i'm fortunate to have you know a good friend well many
- 20:01friends at work you know because that's where i am a lot yeah normally you know
- 20:06but and then you got your other close your really close friends from yeah from
- 20:10way back but i mean that's very far and few between like i was just texting
- 20:13my friend a little bit ago but like.
- 20:15And that's good, but rarely do we get together just because our lives are so busy.
- 20:19So it's not like you're going to go hang out with the guys all the time. I know people say that.
- 20:24Oh, he's going out with the guys again or something. But I think a lot of people do that, though.
- 20:29A lot of people are just partyholics. I think that's the extrovert.
- 20:36Extroverts like to relax with people. They get filled up being around people.
- 20:43Introverts you and i we relax alone i know yeah i i do i do feel that because you get that where you
- 20:50you lose energy when you're around other people like i if i'm
- 20:54in a setting where like a bunch of
- 20:56people i definitely like kind of close in
- 20:59you know and i don't know what do you all think are you all are you a person that
- 21:02if you are the life of the party or are you a person that
- 21:05you feel more comfortable starting the conversation
- 21:08and being there but like not participating
- 21:11not participating to kind of just like because it does
- 21:14take energy it takes energy people a lot of people you just have
- 21:17some like only a certain amount of energy to give
- 21:21yeah and then you you run out of it and some people have a
- 21:24lot more and people and some people feed on energy and
- 21:27they get more energy by being by people they're like
- 21:30a nuclear rod that just gets charged up you
- 21:33know when they're around other people yeah and like
- 21:36it's not like introverts can't have fun
- 21:39and go do those things and be we're not
- 21:42just sitting in a corner sometimes but it's exhausting
- 21:46it's mentally exhausting you can do those things and like i think i'm kind of
- 21:50like that like some people like my i don't know some people say you're you're
- 21:54not an introvert you're outgoing you talk to people yeah but then i want to
- 22:00go home and not see we're definitely introverts right here.
- 22:05I think most people, if you took a percentage, most people would say they're introverts.
- 22:10I'd say like rare, like even people that you think are the most outgoing,
- 22:13crazy people, like they, it seems like they were always like,
- 22:16I'm just really just forcing myself to do that.
- 22:20I'm really not like that. You know, I'm like, I'm more introvert than you would imagine. Mm-hmm.
- 22:25I don't know. That's just in different forums that I've been in,
- 22:30like where they kind of had a conference or a group setting or whatever,
- 22:33where you have to do those kind of games to get those games to get to know each other.
- 22:37And that's the worst. And everyone I talked to hates the games.
- 22:42Nobody, nobody likes those games. Why? Why must we do them? I think they're
- 22:46icebreakers. That's what they are. They're icebreakers. Who cares?
- 22:49And they want, because they want people kind of talking together, mingling.
- 22:53And don't say no by
- 22:56now when we're talking we're talking to each other about
- 22:59how much we hate it maybe that's why they do it yeah why are
- 23:02we doing this again i can't believe we're doing this again don't you hate it
- 23:04yeah i hate it now we're best
- 23:05friends oh oh yeah and some
- 23:09people just i'm envious of like some people some
- 23:11people just got it you know they're just like they're they're
- 23:14able to just be jay leno the life of
- 23:17the party the host you know the host with the most you
- 23:20know and just like people just flock to
- 23:23and people that are just like and there's always
- 23:26things you wish you could be better you know you know it's it's
- 23:29different for everyone you know but but like
- 23:32what do you think makes someone like sound stupid be
- 23:35a good friend i mean what do you think makes it makes i think
- 23:38just opening up to people like i know you you
- 23:41don't like to talk about like your like things that are i don't know but even
- 23:45like people you're close to like i because guys and girls are just so different
- 23:49you know they're so different you know i mean and that's like i don't i don't
- 23:54have that like really close close relationship like maybe that certain guys have you know,
- 23:59but like but they don't i wouldn't say open it up in the same way it's different
- 24:04you know what i mean what do you think i feel the closest to my girlfriends
- 24:07when we talk about just hard crappy things when our lives and i'm like and they're
- 24:12like me too and then you know we can talk about.
- 24:16But guys aren't like that are you afraid to tell it seems
- 24:20like sometimes you're you don't you're afraid to tell things that are going wrong
- 24:22in your life other people you want to like just you don't
- 24:25want to let people in and see that or something or yeah you don't want
- 24:28to a lot of times show weakness yeah like
- 24:31you don't want to show you don't want to show like you want
- 24:34to make it seem like everything's okay and you can handle it you
- 24:37don't want to like be vulnerable with another guy
- 24:40i think i don't know maybe is there
- 24:43any other guys maybe i because i'm not in the loop in a lot of ways so
- 24:46maybe i i don't think it they would see
- 24:49it as the same way as being vulnerable like maybe like they're
- 24:52just like talking things out you know like they they don't they
- 24:55don't care one way or the other but it seems like what their friend thinks if
- 24:58someone says oh hey how's it going i'll be like i am devastated i have to go
- 25:02back to work tomorrow and or something or our car just broke down or it didn't
- 25:08but I don't think you'd ever say that to anybody like how it's really going
- 25:13in your life. You're not going to say something broke or.
- 25:17Or just to, I don't know. You're like, if you say, that's good. Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 25:21Because I mean, a lot of times whenever something happens, I'm like,
- 25:23I don't want you to tell anyone. I know. Because I don't want to show weakness.
- 25:27I don't want to show, I don't want to show like.
- 25:29And then me, I want to tell everyone everything.
- 25:34If it's going to brighten someone's day by hearing something that I'm going through, maybe.
- 25:38But I don't think it's going to brighten someone's day. It makes you more relatable.
- 25:42And these are just things that happen to everybody.
- 25:46And that's how you start talking. Maybe. Maybe that's how it is.
- 25:51It is. I need to get offensive and get on the offense and make some relationships or something.
- 25:58Because people want to know the real person actually going on in their life.
- 26:04Oh, you got a nail in your tire? Holy crap, me too.
- 26:08It's regular things that happen to regular people. You don't seem like a real
- 26:13person if you never have anything wrong.
- 26:16You don't tell anybody. I think I am an extrovert trapped inside an introvert. I can believe that.
- 26:27The way you do your videos in some time, I'm like, who is that?
- 26:31Well, I think I am inside of my extrovert, but I'm filtered too much. In a regular setting.
- 26:40But if I really was comfortable with other people, I would.
- 26:45So many people who you know personally have said
- 26:48oh my gosh stop paying his videos well who's
- 26:52that you know you're just so outgoing just away from other
- 26:55people yeah it's it's a different different setting
- 26:58like as opposed to just being one-on-one with
- 27:01someone you know and just like actually opening up and
- 27:04sharing life together and all that kind of stuff and you know it's but
- 27:07you've said before you want that yeah but you
- 27:10you have to let all let everything
- 27:13and i think i'll let i was wanted on my
- 27:16own terms a lot of ways you know and that doesn't know
- 27:19what do you mean i don't know it's i remember
- 27:22be my best friend and let's never talk i remember when i
- 27:25became a christian like i remember like i it was
- 27:28i just i longed for like
- 27:30for the day that my phone would stop ringing and i
- 27:34wanted and and eventually it did it stopped
- 27:37ringing wait back up you said you became a christian yeah like it's weird like
- 27:42i i i wanted i wanted to kind of get away and i didn't want to be called by
- 27:47like people i wanted to just be on my own and then eventually got on my own
- 27:52and i'm on my own and and this phone stopped.
- 27:56And, you know, I just feel like, you know, like now I crave that again.
- 28:00I crave, you know, I, and a lot, I don't even know what it was like.
- 28:03I, it was just like, you know, even like people that you, you're friends with
- 28:07it, like, you know, like, and it's just.
- 28:10We have different, different things that we're interested in,
- 28:14you know, and you're not, you're not doing the same things as them, you know?
- 28:19And, and, but I don't know, I don't know what it was, but I just remember that.
- 28:24Like I, I wanted to kind of just get away and like, not, you know,
- 28:28I wanted to kind of be on my own Island kind of thing. And I just. At the time. Yeah.
- 28:33And now you're like. I kind of like, yeah, it's, it would. And then you kind
- 28:37of just, you miss it, you know, kind of thing. We got a big one.
- 28:41A big one. So I used to have a friend group and an, and in our friend group was a.
- 28:48Nakavi girl. Yeah. Nakavi girl. and the others are not. And I didn't know that
- 28:56she was until we hang out.
- 28:59I didn't hate her or anything. Hate on her or anything. Hate on her or anything.
- 29:04But she kept shading. What does that say? I don't see the rest of it.
- 29:09Is it cut off on yours? You can scroll, Bonnie. You can scroll on it if you're able to on there.
- 29:13It might have cut off on the screen. Like, here, I couldn't even pull it up.
- 29:16I don't know how you scroll.
- 29:18Anyways, shading. Me and saying, oh, you don't want, you don't wear a hijab.
- 29:26A hijab, yeah.
- 29:27Yeah, hijab. Or why you're wearing clothes that show part of your body or neck and stuff like that.
- 29:35And she hates a lot because I'm not like her.
- 29:39Oh, that's, I mean, that's really intense. Oh, yeah, yeah. So what's a hijab?
- 29:44What's that? The head covering for the Muslim woman who wore it. Oh, yeah.
- 29:50Those things are cool. I'm going to pull it all in there. Is that how you say
- 29:54it? Hijab? Hijab. Hijab.
- 29:58Hopefully I'm pronouncing that right. I'm sorry. Oh, well. I got so many questions
- 30:03about that, man. That's intense.
- 30:06So that's like, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. What do you think,
- 30:08honey, about that? It's just.
- 30:10So like she was judging you for not wearing it? Is that what we're getting?
- 30:14So kind of like not being as conservative, like in like covering yourself. Maybe.
- 30:20Yeah that's tough i mean you gotta do what
- 30:23you gotta do yeah part of being a
- 30:25friend is expecting them for who they are and what they want to wear or do yeah
- 30:30just which i already told this before but that's tough yeah when your friends
- 30:35are asking you for advice and stuff it's almost like something you can tell
- 30:39them but then they're gonna do what they want to do and then you just gotta let them do it,
- 30:45You never say, I told you so, or why'd you do that? You know,
- 30:49because lately I've just been nodding and listening.
- 30:53Just because a lot of people, they don't want really an answer from you or like what to do.
- 30:58They, they want to vent. They want to like kind of just, they have their own
- 31:02answer in their mind and they a lot of times want you to validate it.
- 31:04And like, I'm the same way you want your, you have your opinion,
- 31:07what you think should happen.
- 31:08If someone says something that's not exactly what you're wanting.
- 31:12You don't really, you're not really going to receive it.
- 31:14You know and what is the weird thing that i do with you
- 31:17if i want to do something you're like yeah okay maybe
- 31:20we can and i go then i'll i'll flip it like
- 31:23you know like maybe it's not such a good idea wait don't agree
- 31:26to it like i'll fight for it fight for it
- 31:29maybe i'm just pushing a seat i don't know like
- 31:32like what do you i because i'm probably thinking something different what are
- 31:35you talking about like it happens so much like can we
- 31:38please do this or that or buy this and you're
- 31:41like okay let's think about it i go no it's too
- 31:43much or no never mind oh and then
- 31:46we flip opinions completely yeah like
- 31:50even though we're alike in a lot of ways like in a lot of ways we
- 31:52are completely different we think completely different you know so
- 31:56i i can i get that you know i understand that but
- 31:59then we flip it and then we have the exact opposite opinion
- 32:03maybe but sometimes i just think sometimes i think you're you kind of you're
- 32:07oppositional to me like if i if i think something you sometimes just immediately
- 32:11take the devil's advocate position of it sometimes i really just think that
- 32:15though maybe that's it what did you have bonnie there's two the first one says,
- 32:22as i said i became a christian back when i was muslim muslim i don't used to wear a jab or any of.
- 32:35Muslim clothes. Muslim clothes. But because of, assuming that's the country,
- 32:41I live and there's a law which you wear a buyout. Oh my goodness. Wow. Wow.
- 32:48Wow. That's tough. I mean, in a culture like that, that's like real life, you know?
- 32:57So even back then, before you became a Christian, so let's say if you're a Muslim,
- 33:02you're either It's like you're either born a Muslim or you're born a Christian. That's your identity.
- 33:06It's like on your, a lot of times on your birth certificate.
- 33:09It's like you were born into that.
- 33:11So when you become a Christian, you don't have to wear all that anyway.
- 33:16But even before you became a Christian, she didn't wear that.
- 33:19That's what she said. She's in the friend group and even she was a Muslim.
- 33:22Oh, okay. Right? Is that right?
- 33:25When you're Muslim before you became a Christian, you didn't wear what she was wearing.
- 33:30And then so yeah that's i mean that's tough
- 33:33i mean like different cultures have different like something that
- 33:36is in a more tropical climate different
- 33:39places they might think we're almost nothing and
- 33:42it seemed like it's just like accepted you know as opposed to
- 33:45just in where like they're at you
- 33:48know it's that's just part of the norms you know and you just gotta
- 33:51i know and like like here even in like there's really
- 33:54ultra conservative christians like we're christians ultra conservative
- 33:57says you can't wear pants girls you have to wear
- 34:00your hair long and never cut you cannot wear makeup and she
- 34:03said yeah okay she she confirmed it
- 34:06yeah wow that's so did
- 34:09that friendship not work out then that's tough
- 34:13yeah so so your so your friend is still a muslim and you're a christian that's
- 34:19and that's tough i mean i because whenever when we were like overseas and when
- 34:25we were overseas and just I mean we saw we witnessed.
- 34:30Muslims some turn to Christ you know and it's like and
- 34:33it's different like and then some were like their family
- 34:37would like I remember one was saying like his dad was just like I'll slit your
- 34:41throat that kind of thing you know if you become a Christian that is like a
- 34:44death sentence you know like if I remember that right so if someone became a
- 34:49Christian maybe you can tell us this in countries where it's like that.
- 34:55Do you just kind of hide it? Sadly, yeah. All the friend group didn't work out.
- 35:01Yeah, true. Oh, man. Yeah. That's tough.
- 35:04I mean, well, going back to my friends I've had for a long time,
- 35:08I have them because our commonality is Christ. What is in South Korea?
- 35:14Still friends. I haven't talked for a long time. But, you know,
- 35:16they live kind of far away, but I see them more than the other people that live
- 35:22right next to me just because you just feel so much closer to people who are
- 35:25Christians when you're a Christian, I think.
- 35:28I do. I know what you mean. You meet somebody that you've never met before and
- 35:33then they're a Christian, you immediately have that connection.
- 35:36I remember Fidelis, if you're out there. Do you remember Fidelis?
- 35:40Kind of. Wonderful trainer man from the Y. Maybe.
- 35:44He just started working there a long time ago.
- 35:48And that's one of the first things he said. He's like, I'm a Christian. I guess so am I.
- 35:51And like he just felt like a brother immediately you
- 35:54know just instant comfortableness between
- 35:57us you know or anybody but that's just
- 36:00one example but yeah it's a
- 36:03i know like even where i work you know they're like
- 36:06you immediately like somebody just met they're they're a christian you
- 36:09just have that immediate connection like the thing
- 36:12that you love the most the thing that the
- 36:14person you love the most and that your life is is
- 36:18you have the same thing that you share you know it's like
- 36:22it's crazy it's pretty it's awesome but it
- 36:25doesn't like you don't immediately not everything's always
- 36:28going to be hunky-dory every not everything's always going to be perfect you're
- 36:32like with that person you know what i mean just because you share the same like
- 36:35love for christ sometimes it can be tougher sometimes you i don't know like
- 36:41if someone's a christian it's like you almost then you can't just kind of hide in the crowd.
- 36:47They know you're a Christian. You know they're a Christian. It's like.
- 36:51Then you're both on the same level and you
- 36:54can't just kind of go along with the crowd and kind of so it's
- 36:57like you almost got to stand out and represent you
- 37:00know and that's kind of can be tough yes but it's
- 37:03comforting knowing that there's someone else oh yeah with 100
- 37:06yeah 100 yeah always yeah so
- 37:10gosh i mean gosh there's a law which
- 37:13is you wear a baya that was
- 37:16a long time ago oh what am i seeing then
- 37:19i don't even know but that's i don't know if you can say where did
- 37:23she say where they're maybe shouldn't yeah maybe you shouldn't
- 37:25but like i'm so glad you jumped in
- 37:28yeah it's it's a different a different world you know
- 37:31like everybody is going i
- 37:35mean that that's like real i mean like the closest thing that we have that to
- 37:38that level is almost kind of like the Amish you know it is like they are you
- 37:45get shunned by your family it's like if you want to go out into the world you
- 37:49know even like because them becoming just a regular Christian is almost going out into the world,
- 37:54because you're no longer you have to you have to you have to stay within that
- 38:01kind of culture and that and that otherwise you are kind of almost stepping out into darkness,
- 38:06you know and that's what it's it's very tough you know I feel like you're going
- 38:10to say something yeah but like just the shunning you know that's what what.
- 38:19You need to love people no matter what, no matter what they're doing or what even they believe.
- 38:25God's going to sort it out later. If they really have a question about what's
- 38:30right or something, you build that relationship first, and then you ask the
- 38:33hard questions. What do you think about this or that?
- 38:35You say, well, they actually think this.
- 38:40And they will accept that a lot more than you just beating someone over the
- 38:42head with it and shunning them. You're doing that. I'm not going to talk to you anymore.
- 38:46Because that even that principle is it's biblical
- 38:49but it's i think taken in well i
- 38:52think i think it's doing almost the steps that
- 38:55the bible outlines but maybe not doing it in the
- 38:58right way or doing it like on a on a
- 39:01right reason because like
- 39:05we are like as christians that paul lays
- 39:08that out like if there's if someone sees their brother sinning you're
- 39:11not supposed to even eat with your brother because i
- 39:14think that's where they're taking that you know and but they're seeing i
- 39:16think it's will like willful sins they
- 39:19know they're doing something wrong and they're still calling themselves a christian
- 39:22and just blatantly doing this sin right yeah and
- 39:26you're saying no that's that's wrong we can't
- 39:29represent christ like that right yeah and yeah
- 39:33that and that's tough i mean like just like try to
- 39:36hash that out in the church today in american church like
- 39:39that's tough i mean like because we're all about
- 39:42not being judgmental and not judging anyone
- 39:45else's sins and that's like i mean i i agree with that because like he was without
- 39:50sin cast the first stone it's like i'm like i am would be the worst person but
- 39:54like i think that's why we need to shape up as much as we can and be confident
- 39:59and live with a clear conscience so that we can help others and instruct them
- 40:03in the right way you know but i mean like.
- 40:05How do you get to that point? That's tough. What do you have, Bonnie?
- 40:09Another one says, yeah, I agree, and I'm moving away, so I don't care about them anymore.
- 40:15The only thing that I care about now is my family and my future.
- 40:21Aw. Yeah. Sometimes you just have to leave them behind.
- 40:25You know, everybody, you just kind of move on, you know? Yeah. Different people.
- 40:30People come in and out of your life. i mean my best my best
- 40:33friend from kindergarten to sixth grade like nothing really
- 40:37happened between us we just kind of drifted apart
- 40:40and that's okay you know sometimes people
- 40:44just come in and out for different reasons sometimes you
- 40:47just need to start over and get start fresh and not like and
- 40:50it's not just that relationship can be
- 40:53toxic it can be it just be bad for you and bad for them and there maybe needs
- 40:59to be that separation so we can breathe and then maybe can come back together
- 41:03later or there can be reconciliation if it's needed or it can be just you are
- 41:09you go about and live your life in peace they live their life in peace or whatever and.
- 41:14Everybody's different everybody's that's that's tough i mean yeah when people
- 41:19are going through real things i mean like a lot of times my like my real deals
- 41:23a lot of times don't have to do with social stuff with other people.
- 41:28It's kind of my own thing. I'm going through a lot of, a lot of times and just
- 41:32my own anxieties, my own worries that I have in life.
- 41:35It's not necessarily making a, I've made someone else mad or something like that.
- 41:41And, or not at peace with someone else, you know, but I, I think,
- 41:45but I think I want, I want, that's why I, when we made that video a while back
- 41:48about, are we doing Christianity wrong? Remember that?
- 41:51Or it was about something like that. And like, I,
- 41:55I think it's just within me, and I have the desire so much to be with other
- 42:00people, to be just completely just engulfed with other people and live in that setting.
- 42:07And I think that's like, I'm almost sometimes kind of an overreaction where
- 42:11I want that so much that I want all the church to come together.
- 42:14And I've just listened to other people say stuff about it. There can be beauty
- 42:19in the church of different parts of Christianity doing things different,
- 42:24just as we have different cultures and there's diversity and all that kind of
- 42:27stuff and it doesn't have to be where we come uniform and all apart under run
- 42:32one roof i still want it to be like we're all under one roof like physically
- 42:37you know and all that but i don't think that's maybe gonna happen.
- 42:42And i think it is kind of like a lot of my perspectives and the way that i see
- 42:48everything is because of who I am inside and like what I've gone through and
- 42:54like what I even desire within me. Like I want that, you know, camaraderie.
- 42:58I want that brotherhood, you know, like in, and it's like, I want it so much.
- 43:02I want it so much, you know, like I would like literally want it so much.
- 43:07And where I, I, I think there's a lack of it within me that I don't feel it.
- 43:12Like, I don't feel like I have it in the church.
- 43:14I don't feel like I have that in the church. And I think even early on in my
- 43:19Christian life, I had that desire where I was looking for Orthodox Christianity.
- 43:25And I was trying to—because in the church that I'm at, I just feel isolated.
- 43:30I feel secluded. I feel not close to anyone.
- 43:34And I looked at other segments of Christianity, the Orthodox Church,
- 43:39and there really wasn't anyone close around us.
- 43:44Any churches like that there are maybe some but like I just
- 43:47had that within me and I was even just even then trying to
- 43:50like like you think like do they got it because like they're
- 43:53they that that part of Christianity feels like it seems like they're closer together
- 43:56than but maybe it's just me you know maybe
- 43:59maybe it's just me in a lot of ways I think it's part
- 44:01of you not really opening up and sharing the ugly parts of your life we took
- 44:06a drink at the same oh yeah and that's a good segue yeah this if got our new

- 44:30at it you're very good at it i'm always getting better i
- 44:34gotta go back and see the first things i did it's a learning curve
- 44:37okay i i think i see
- 44:39that exactly with my kind of my journey as
- 44:43creating videos like whenever i first started
- 44:45i was like how do i even create a podcast i wouldn't even i didn't know it took
- 44:48me over a month to figure out how to quick time quick time is
- 44:51like just to record yourself on a computer it took
- 44:54like a month for me to figure that out i know i remember i was
- 44:57being down here and you're like how do you do a podcast like where
- 45:00do you go what do you do i still don't know but obviously you figured
- 45:03it out if you look in this room i mean it's but you've done
- 45:06it i feel like i don't i still don't know anything but like okay
- 45:10you just need to pan around this room
- 45:12even even my uh videos like i like my early videos and even they're so cringe
- 45:19you knew my early videos are so cringe and even now i'm probably like i'm probably
- 45:23gonna look back a year from now and just think i it's hard for me to watch a
- 45:27video i made like a like a month ago you know it's like,
- 45:30and I'm just always just striving to get better and I know any creator that's
- 45:34out there that's making stuff.
- 45:36It's like, I think you just got to keep doing it. You just got to do it and
- 45:39you got to do it and you got to do it over and over and over and just figure
- 45:42out like a lot of the, just the terminology that creators use never made sense to me.
- 45:48When people talked about pacing and all, all this parts of a video and don't scream the camera.
- 45:55And I just, I heard something really cool lately.
- 45:57Like, and I watch, I'm always watching videos, YouTube videos and just devouring them.
- 46:02But was when you're making videos, don't talk to the camera.
- 46:05Don't as in don't just talk at a camera but
- 46:09talk to the person behind the camera because
- 46:12there is a real person behind the camera you
- 46:15know and it's not and i think that's what i need to
- 46:18do more as opposed to just talking at i
- 46:21see you bonnie do it are you just one second baby i
- 46:25love the room oh oh thank you so much
- 46:28yeah thank you very much you only see a
- 46:30little bit there's a bunch over there yeah and there's a mega
- 46:33desk over here with about 15 screens and
- 46:36lines i've been trying to get everything situated and next
- 46:39week i'm actually going to my goal is i
- 46:42want to start streaming every day in the morning my my
- 46:47goal is to stream and do it as a podcast like
- 46:50that and then just release it hopefully technology
- 46:53permitting i'm able to do that you know we'll see better go
- 46:56to that a little bit earlier i don't want to yeah we already know we already
- 47:00know about sleep is no no fun for me but you must but you do feel so much better
- 47:06when you sleep but i i also think we always talk about sleep i think once you
- 47:11sleep once you give into that temptation of sleep.
- 47:14All you're going to do is want to sleep more and you're going to just wake up
- 47:18even tired or the next day sometimes if you sleep a lot it's like almost that
- 47:23balance you got to hit that perfect window of how long to sleep and wake up, you know?
- 47:28You have to listen to your body and know what's right for you.
- 47:30Yeah, I remember you made that little short video where you said like,
- 47:34does anyone have trouble asleep or something?
- 47:38Yes, I do not want to sleep. Should I tell my embarrassing thing yesterday morning?
- 47:43Always. What's your embarrassing thing, Jessie? What? What time was it? Six?
- 47:49Oh, you're talking about what I saw? Yeah.
- 47:52Why would you think it was embarrassing okay go ahead okay so I was the baby
- 47:59started crying so I started to get up really quick to go warm up the bottle
- 48:02because long story I couldn't feed him myself,
- 48:05and got up too quickly and I passed out I just saw you got up and you were walking
- 48:11over there and you just went and you fell backwards like,
- 48:14I didn't know what you did.
- 48:17That's why dad screamed I screamed and you said that i said that i do i'm so
- 48:27glad you don't cuss bonnie i'm so glad you don't cuss even though you've heard
- 48:30me cuss a million times you're like tired but you try to go quick or something,
- 48:34What? You just got up too quick? It's called orthostatic hypotension.
- 48:39It's low blood pressure.
- 48:41So when you're asleep, the blood is pooling in your legs. And you have to give
- 48:45yourself some time to get up.
- 48:47Otherwise, the blood leaves your... It doesn't get up to your brain or something.
- 48:51I don't know. And I passed out.
- 48:53Oh, my gosh. But it wasn't for that long. I didn't know you...
- 48:56I just thought you just fell down. You fell backwards.
- 48:59I fainted. Or is that what... Did you forget? You just thought I tripped and
- 49:03fell? I just thought you fell backwards.
- 49:05I passed out. If you're walking forward, you don't just trip and fall backwards.
- 49:10Well, I was like, I just, yeah. Did it feel hurt?
- 49:14No, but something is really hurting in my neck today, and I wonder if that's
- 49:18it. Don't. And then I think you thought I was having a... Don't.
- 49:22Don't. I'm going to be like Biden, Kamala. Don't.
- 49:26I thought that you thought I was having a stroke or something,
- 49:28because I was like, go get the water heating up.
- 49:33That's all you're worrying about yes because then he's just gonna it takes forever
- 49:37to warm up a bottle and he's just gonna be crying.
- 49:41Well Jesse I don't think that's an embarrassing story I don't think that's good
- 49:45I don't know I'm thankful you didn't get hurt I'm thankful you didn't get hurt
- 49:48worse than you did you know but like that happened once before like when I was younger but yeah,
- 49:57like I got out of bed I was really dizzy and so I put my hand I like leaned
- 50:01against the wall and then I woke up like this, laying flat on my back on the ground. Honey, God.
- 50:08So everyone, when you get up out of the bed in the morning, you need to work
- 50:11your calves, like up and down, like do this. And that will pump the blood back up to your brain.
- 50:17She's not lying. She's a health teacher. Before you get out of bed.
