- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, good afternoon, listeners. Thank you for coming on Lament
- 0:03Speaker 1: of Hope podcast. It's kind of crazy that we're already
- 0:06Speaker 1: in April and just, yeah, already so many interviews done
- 0:10Speaker 1: and just seeing, getting to hear so many different stories.
- 0:15Speaker 1: And recently we've been kind of talking to a lot
- 0:18Speaker 1: of different like survivalists and then talking to a dispatcher.
- 0:23Speaker 2: You've got this example, for example, in Chernobyl. that we've
- 0:32Speaker 2: got that human make completely disaster somewhere in Ukraine and
- 0:40Speaker 2: after that when you go there now you've got like
- 0:47Speaker 2: nature which cover all of these villages all of this
- 0:52Speaker 2: town around the Chernobyl or something like that and I
- 0:59Speaker 2: strongly believe that. That's why I told you that I
- 1:06Speaker 2: believe in nature because you have to have respect with nature.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I learned this when I made my first personal project,
- 1:18Speaker 2: Nine Gates of No Return. And I made this project in...
- 1:23Speaker 2: very specific region in Poland it's called Bieszczady Mountains and
- 1:33Speaker 2: after this region used to be before the second world
- 1:40Speaker 2: war there were a lot of villages and there was
- 1:48Speaker 2: a very specific community between, not between, but there were
- 1:58Speaker 2: really huge history, Russian, Polish and Jewish history. And after 1945,
- 2:09Speaker 2: Because the border was moving, this history of Jewish, Polish,
- 2:20Speaker 2: Russian people was completely destroyed. I mean, the people, they
- 2:27Speaker 2: burned synagogues, they burned, how it's called, Orthodox churches. They
- 2:40Speaker 2: moved out the people from villages and something like that.
- 2:43Speaker 2: And after that, in 1950s, You've got only five years,
- 2:49Speaker 2: five or seven years, something like that. But generally, in
- 2:53Speaker 2: the 1950s, this area was completely empty and nature covered everything.
