- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:04Speaker 1: We're going to dive right back into those grand jury
- 0:06Speaker 1: documents and pick up where we left off. Bella Hovlich, okay,
- 0:12Speaker 1: she was what, you said 17? Answer, it's Rakari still
- 0:16Speaker 1: on the stand by the way. Correct. Bella Hovlich, did
- 0:20Speaker 1: she tell Jeff Epstein that she was 17? Answer, may have,
- 0:23Speaker 1: I believe so. Bella Hovlich, take a minute and look
- 0:27Speaker 1: at your report and see if you can find that there. Answer, okay,
- 0:31Speaker 1: she was 16 when she first went to the house. Belahovlik, okay,
- 0:35Speaker 1: she was 16. But did she ever tell him she's
- 0:38Speaker 1: 16 or 17? Answer, no. Belahovlik, did any of the
- 0:42Speaker 1: girls ever tell him that they were under 18? Answer, well,
- 0:46Speaker 1: he knew that they went to redacted school. Belahovlik, that
- 0:51Speaker 1: was not my question to you. You see how confrontational
- 0:54Speaker 1: she is here? You see how she's going after her
- 0:57Speaker 1: own witnesses? And this is all at the behest of
- 1:00Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's team. I don't care if she denies it.
- 1:03Speaker 1: I don't care if Krischer denies it. And I don't
- 1:06Speaker 1: care what that OIG report says. We're seeing it right
- 1:09Speaker 1: here in real time. And then if you dig deeper
- 1:12Speaker 1: and you understand who Jeffrey Epstein's team was really in
- 1:15Speaker 1: contact with, meaning not Acosta, then you understand how all
- 1:20Speaker 1: of this fell into place. Back to the document. Answer, okay.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, did any of the girls ever tell Jeffrey
- 1:27Speaker 1: Epstein that they were under 18 years old? Answer, not
- 1:30Speaker 1: to my knowledge. Bella Hovlich, and some of them affirmatively
- 1:34Speaker 1: lied and said that they were 18 when they were not,
- 1:36Speaker 1: didn't they? Answer, correct. Bella Hovlich, but he was aware
- 1:41Speaker 1: that they were going to high school. Answer, correct. Bella Hovlich, okay,
- 1:45Speaker 1: how much money did Redacted make? Answer, $ 300 for each massage.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, was she ever given anything other than cash money? Answer,
- 1:55Speaker 1: she was also given a Western Union wire from New
- 1:57Speaker 1: York for a Christmas bonus. Bella Hovlich, how much was
- 2:01Speaker 1: the Christmas bonus? Answer, $ 200. Bella Hovlich, alright. At some
- 2:06Speaker 1: point you spoke with someone named Alfredo Rodriguez. Answer, correct.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, and who is he? Answer, he's a former
- 2:14Speaker 1: houseman of Jeffrey Epstein. Bella Hovlich, what did he describe
- 2:19Speaker 1: his duties when he was employed by Mr. Epstein? Answer,
- 2:23Speaker 1: he was basically everything. He was the butler, the driver
- 2:26Speaker 1: in charge of his security. He was basically the everything
- 2:29Speaker 1: for the house. Belahovlik, okay, do it all. He did everything.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Indiscernible wanted to. Answer, right. Belahovlik, okay, did he. Did
- 2:39Speaker 1: Alfredo Rodriguez give you any information regarding your investigation? Answer,
- 2:44Speaker 1: he explained that he knew something was amiss during his
- 2:47Speaker 1: employ with Mr. Epstein. He would see girls as young
- 2:50Speaker 1: as his daughter come in and say they're his masseuse.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And when asked how young, he said very young. Too
- 2:57Speaker 1: young to be a masseuse. Did he give you any
- 3:00Speaker 1: other information? Answer. He also stated that he kept a
- 3:04Speaker 1: folder for his protection. Some notes that were made during
- 3:07Speaker 1: his employ with Mr. Epstein. Belahovlik. What? So he kept
- 3:11Speaker 1: like a journal? Answer. Basically, yes. Like a folder with
- 3:14Speaker 1: different sheets of paper inside. Belahovlik. And he would write
- 3:18Speaker 1: notes to himself or would put notes in that journal? Answer.
- 3:21Speaker 1: He would put notes inside. Belahovlik. Okay. Answer, notes that
- 3:26Speaker 1: were given to him on Epstein's stationery. Belahovlik, was there
- 3:29Speaker 1: any note that he provided to you in that folder
- 3:33Speaker 1: that indicated something, any type of relationship between Jeffrey Epstein
- 3:37Speaker 1: and any of the girls that we've discussed? Answer, yes.
- 3:41Speaker 1: He provided two sheets. One was to extend the rental
- 3:44Speaker 1: car for Redacted as the contract was up the 2nd
- 3:48Speaker 1: of February. Belahovlik, the 2nd of February that year. Answer,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I was unable to determine that. I researched that information
- 3:55Speaker 1: through Dollar Rent-A-Car, and they were unable to locate the
- 3:58Speaker 1: car that he rented. Bella Hovlich, okay, but did Redacted
- 4:02Speaker 1: confirm that she had gotten the car? Answer, yes. Bella Hovlich, okay. Answer,
- 4:07Speaker 1: she even explained, described the car as a blue Dodge
- 4:10Speaker 1: Neon four-door. She explained the whole car to me. Additionally,
- 4:13Speaker 1: there was another notation of to take a bucket of
- 4:17Speaker 1: roses at 9 p.m. to Redacted for Redacted. and give
- 4:20Speaker 1: the flowers to Redacted after her Redacted performance, as she
- 4:25Speaker 1: was in Redacted and had a Redacted that night. So
- 4:29Speaker 1: what they're talking about is how Epstein sent flowers to
- 4:32Speaker 1: some little girl who was doing a school play or whatever,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and that's what they're recounting here. But that's not good
- 4:39Speaker 1: enough for Mrs. Bela Hovlik, or Mr. Krischer, I guess.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Bela Hovlik? Okay, and do you know when that was? Answer,
- 4:46Speaker 1: it was while Redacted was still in Redacted and Redacted,
- 4:50Speaker 1: it was during his employ prior to Janice. Belahovlik, do
- 4:55Speaker 1: you know if that was when Redacted was 16 or
- 4:58Speaker 1: when she was 17 or when she was 18? Answer,
- 5:01Speaker 1: when she was 17. Belahovlik, okay. Did you, any of
- 5:05Speaker 1: these girls we've talked about, any of them a licensed
- 5:08Speaker 1: massage therapist? Answer, no. No formal training in any massages.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, did you ever speak to licensed massage therapists
- 5:16Speaker 1: that provided services to Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, through the trash
- 5:21Speaker 1: pools we did locate two girls that were licensed masseuses
- 5:25Speaker 1: that I interviewed. Bella Hovlich, who were they? Answer, one
- 5:29Speaker 1: was redacted and the other one was redacted. Bella Hovlich, okay,
- 5:33Speaker 1: did you talk to a redacted? Answer, yes I did.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, what did she tell you? Answer, that she
- 5:41Speaker 1: had been going to Epstein's house for quite some time. However,
- 5:44Speaker 1: she was not a masseuse at the time when she
- 5:46Speaker 1: first started going to his house. He also provided her
- 5:49Speaker 1: a vehicle to get to his house because her scooter
- 5:51Speaker 1: had broken down. She was, and he's interrupted here by Belahovlik,
- 5:56Speaker 1: she started going to his house in a similar fashion
- 5:59Speaker 1: and capacity as these other girls? Answer, that is correct. Belahovlik, okay,
- 6:04Speaker 1: but she later became a massage therapist. Answer, yes. Belahovlik,
- 6:10Speaker 1: what kind of relationship did Redacted and Redacted And Jeffrey
- 6:13Speaker 1: Epstein have. Answer, she stated that it was a consensual
- 6:17Speaker 1: sexual encounter that they've had. Belahovic, how old was she
- 6:20Speaker 1: at the time? Answer, over 18 at the time. I
- 6:24Speaker 1: think she was 18. Belahovic, was she, did she describe
- 6:28Speaker 1: being paid money for? Answer, paid money. And additionally, I
- 6:31Speaker 1: believe he paid for her tuition at Redacted. Belahovic, is
- 6:36Speaker 1: that where she got her massage therapy training? Answer, no,
- 6:39Speaker 1: she got into the Redacted. Belahovic, okay, all right. What
- 6:43Speaker 1: you mentioned, a redacted, she's a licensed massage therapist? Answer,
- 6:47Speaker 1: that's correct. Bella Hovlik, did she provide massage services to
- 6:51Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein? Answer, yes. Bella Hovlik, what kind of services
- 6:55Speaker 1: did she provide? Answer, she does a Swedish deep tissue massage.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Bella Hovlik, did the massages by redacted go beyond a
- 7:03Speaker 1: normal massage to the other acts we've heard about today? Answer, no. No,
- 7:08Speaker 1: her job was strictly to come in, provide the massage,
- 7:10Speaker 1: she got paid $ 100, and she left. Bella Hovlich, okay,
- 7:14Speaker 1: so the licensed massage therapist gets $ 100, the other girls
- 7:18Speaker 1: get much more? Answer, right. Bella Hovlich, okay, when you were,
- 7:23Speaker 1: you've met most of these girls, was there anything different
- 7:26Speaker 1: about Redacted that you noticed that made her stand apart
- 7:29Speaker 1: from the other girls that were going? Answer, Redacted was
- 7:33Speaker 1: not the petite little girl. She was always, she was
- 7:35Speaker 1: a bigger girl, with plenty of tattoos on her forearm,
- 7:38Speaker 1: and visible on her neck, very visible tattoos. Bella Hovlich,
- 7:43Speaker 1: If you were to say Mr. Epstein had a type,
- 7:45Speaker 1: she would not fit that type? Answer, oh, absolutely. Bella Hovlich,
- 7:50Speaker 1: were you ever able to find any intelligence from the
- 7:53Speaker 1: Palm Beach County Police Department that confirmed any of these
- 7:55Speaker 1: girls being in his house other than the girls saying so? Answer,
- 8:00Speaker 1: through physical surveillance, I had researched all the intelligence that
- 8:03Speaker 1: the police had gathered during the past couple of years,
- 8:06Speaker 1: and in 2004, Mr. Rodriguez, the former houseman, had called
- 8:10Speaker 1: the police because he had seen a suspicious vehicle that
- 8:13Speaker 1: he did not recognize in the driveway of Mr. Epstein's house. Mr.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Rodriguez was pulling in from Publix and didn't recognize the vehicle,
- 8:21Speaker 1: so he left and drove straight to the police department
- 8:23Speaker 1: and notified them that there was a strange vehicle in
- 8:25Speaker 1: the driveway. When the vehicle was approached by the police officers,
- 8:29Speaker 1: they found Redacted sitting in this, the car with her friend.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, does it identify who the friend is? Answer, uh,
- 8:39Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich. And when you look at that report, what
- 8:41Speaker 1: is the date that was there in 2004? Answer, November 28th, 2004.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And at which point her cell phone rang, and the
- 8:51Speaker 1: officer felt that it must have been her mother because
- 8:53Speaker 1: she says, I can't talk, I'm in school. Bella Hovlich, okay,
- 8:57Speaker 1: did the officer note why Redacted was there? Answer, she
- 9:00Speaker 1: stated that she was there to pick up money's that
- 9:03Speaker 1: were owed to her, that she's a massage therapist for Mr. Epstein.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, okay, the girls you talk to, how did
- 9:09Speaker 1: they typically tend to know each other of those that do?
- 9:13Speaker 1: Were they all in school together? Answer, they were all,
- 9:16Speaker 1: they all knew each other from redacted high school. All
- 9:19Speaker 1: except one. Bella Hovlich, because she was, knew, redacted from
- 9:23Speaker 1: outside of school? Answer, correct. She knew redacted because she
- 9:27Speaker 1: was dating redacted's cousin. Bella Hovlich, okay, at some point,
- 9:31Speaker 1: did you obtain a search warrant? For Jeffrey Epstein's home? Answer. Correct.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I did. Bela Hovlik. When was that? Answer. That was
- 9:38Speaker 1: in October. Bela Hovlik. Page 42. Answer. October 12, 2005. Oops.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I'm sorry. That was the. Nope. That was in another interview.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Bela Hovlik. October 20th. Answer. October 20th. Bela Hovlik. You
- 9:54Speaker 1: got the warrant on October 18th and executed it on
- 9:56Speaker 1: October 20th. Answer. Correct. Bela Hovlik. Answer, there was a
- 10:18Speaker 1: lot of people in the, and from, the police department. Belahovlik,
- 10:22Speaker 1: all right, and Greg Parkinson's is outside. Answer, yes. Belahovlik, okay,
- 10:27Speaker 1: during the execution of the warrant, there was an item
- 10:29Speaker 1: found that's identified as a twin torpedo. Answer, yes. Belahovlik,
- 10:34Speaker 1: what is that item? Answer, that is, it's known as
- 10:38Speaker 1: a dildo. Belahovlik, okay, a sexual toy that you buy. Answer,
- 10:43Speaker 1: a sexual toy. Belahovlik, okay, where was it found? Answer.
- 10:47Speaker 1: That was found in the bedroom of, I want to say,
- 10:50Speaker 1: Nadia's bedroom. Belahovlik. Okay. Is that the bedroom that the
- 10:54Speaker 1: girls were taken to when they performed the massages as
- 10:57Speaker 1: described by and to you? Answer. The main massages occurred
- 11:01Speaker 1: in Epstein's master bedroom bathroom area. Belahovlik. Not Nadia's? Answer. No. Belahovlik.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Bedroom bathroom area? Answer. No. Belahovlik. Okay. So that was
- 11:12Speaker 1: found in a different place. Answer. Correct. Belahovlik. Was there
- 11:16Speaker 1: any sexual devices, dildos, vibrators, found anything that matched the
- 11:20Speaker 1: description that was given by the girls? Either a purple
- 11:23Speaker 1: vibrator or a white vibrator with a large head? Answer, no.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, at this point, Detective Ricari, I'm going to
- 11:31Speaker 1: see if the grand jurors have any questions for you.
- 11:34Speaker 1: All right, we're going to wrap up right here. And
- 11:36Speaker 1: when we get back with the next episode, we're going
- 11:38Speaker 1: to pick up with a grand jury questions to Detective Ricari.
- 11:42Speaker 1: All of the information that goes with this episode can
- 11:45Speaker 1: be found on in the description box. What's up everyone
- 11:48Speaker 1: and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode
- 11:51Speaker 1: we're picking up where we left off with the grand
- 11:54Speaker 1: jury documents that were just released. And to do that
- 11:57Speaker 1: we're picking up with Detective Rakari about to get questioned
- 12:01Speaker 1: by the juror. Juror, I'd like to ask you a
- 12:05Speaker 1: question first. What constitutes a sexual act under the law?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Miss Belahovlik, sexual activity means oral, anal, or vaginal penetration
- 12:14Speaker 1: by or union with the sexual organ of another, anal
- 12:17Speaker 1: or vaginal penetration of another by any other object, or
- 12:21Speaker 1: the handling or fondling of the sexual organ of another
- 12:25Speaker 1: for the purpose of masturbation. However, the term does not
- 12:28Speaker 1: include acts for bona fide medical purposes. You'll all get
- 12:31Speaker 1: a copy of this. Yes, ma'am. Adjure. Do you know
- 12:35Speaker 1: the location of Jeffrey Epstein at present? You say that
- 12:38Speaker 1: he hasn't been back since October. The witness. He has
- 12:41Speaker 1: various homes. One in New York. He has a ranch
- 12:44Speaker 1: in New Mexico. He has a private island right outside
- 12:46Speaker 1: of St. Thomas. He has a home in Paris and
- 12:49Speaker 1: one in England. A juror. So can you get in
- 12:52Speaker 1: touch with him? You would have a way to do that?
- 12:54Speaker 1: The witness. Ricari. He has various councils representing him. Ms. Belahovlik. Yes, ma'am. Juror.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Was redacted the only one of these girls that he
- 13:03Speaker 1: actually had intercourse with? The witness. No. Juror. Okay. Rakari,
- 13:09Speaker 1: there were a total of five victims altogether, but as
- 13:12Speaker 1: far as intercourse you mean? Jur, mm-hmm. The witness, as
- 13:15Speaker 1: far as penile intercourse? Jur, right. The witness, I believe
- 13:19Speaker 1: it was two. Jur, okay. Ms. Belahovlik, yes sir. Calling
- 13:23Speaker 1: on another jur. As far as redacted, it does not
- 13:26Speaker 1: appear from what I'm hearing, it's not like redacted was
- 13:28Speaker 1: the center focal point who coordinated all this for Epstein.
- 13:32Speaker 1: It seemed like Epstein had multiple sources to have access
- 13:35Speaker 1: to some of these young girls. Is that correct? Rikari,
- 13:39Speaker 1: all of these girls were in a tight clique together,
- 13:41Speaker 1: Redacted being the first one from the clique to just
- 13:44Speaker 1: go to the house. Jur, okay. Rikari, basically was that
- 13:49Speaker 1: she brought Redacted Redacted, brought Redacted, and brought Redacted. Jur, right. Rikari,
- 13:55Speaker 1: so it was like a trickling effect. Jur, right, so this,
- 13:59Speaker 1: I mean... It just kind of seems like this little
- 14:01Speaker 1: micro-economy got spawned here, and it does not. I mean,
- 14:05Speaker 1: do any of these girls provide those types of services
- 14:08Speaker 1: for money for anyone else? Do they do this? And
- 14:11Speaker 1: Rakari interrupts him here. No. Juror, on a common basis, or... Nope. Juror,
- 14:17Speaker 1: does it just happen that Epstein is the source by
- 14:20Speaker 1: which they're attracted to here? Rakari, Epstein is the source. Juror, okay. Ms. Belahovlik,
- 14:26Speaker 1: do you know Redacted? Present occupation detective? Ricari? She is a...
- 14:31Speaker 1: an exotic dancer. Miss Belahovlik, a stripper. Ricari, a stripper. Belahovlik, okay. Juror,
- 14:39Speaker 1: who is that one? Ricari, redacted. Belahovlik, redacted. Yes, sir.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Another juror being called upon here. When Jeffrey entered redacted,
- 14:49Speaker 1: did she ask him to stop at all? Ricari, she
- 14:52Speaker 1: screamed no. She didn't. She... Juror, and he continued... The witness,
- 14:56Speaker 1: she said no. He apologized, offered her $ 1, 000. Subsequently then, juror,
- 15:01Speaker 1: so he stopped. The witness, after that, yes. Juror, okay.
- 15:05Speaker 1: And the second question, you had made comment that dollar
- 15:08Speaker 1: rental car wasn't able to find, the dollar or rental
- 15:12Speaker 1: car wasn't able to find the car. Have you been
- 15:14Speaker 1: able to confirm the actual? And to that, Ricari cuts
- 15:17Speaker 1: him off. Subpoenas had been issued to dollar rent a car.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I have their text researching it. They were acquired by
- 15:23Speaker 1: another company, so some of the business records were not
- 15:26Speaker 1: up to par. So they're, they're hopefully, I keep reminding
- 15:29Speaker 1: them to, juror, there's more than one car then that,
- 15:33Speaker 1: and Ricari interrupts, that's correct, they still rent. They rented
- 15:36Speaker 1: the car for redacted, which I believe she's still driving it. Juror, okay. Ms.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Belahovlik calls on another juror who is a woman. Juror,
- 15:44Speaker 1: how many of the girls had relationships with them? Over
- 15:47Speaker 1: a year while they were still in high school? Rakari,
- 15:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry, juror, how many of the girls had were
- 15:53Speaker 1: seeing him for more than a year while and he
- 15:55Speaker 1: knew that they were still in high school? Rakari, I
- 15:58Speaker 1: know that all of them were in high school when
- 16:00Speaker 1: they first started seeing him. Redacted being 16, the age
- 16:03Speaker 1: of graduation is 18. I would say they all because
- 16:06Speaker 1: they all met him through redacted in school. Miss Belahovlik,
- 16:10Speaker 1: the question is the length period. This doesn't, it's one time.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Like with its numerous hundreds of times for two years.
- 16:17Speaker 1: The witness over two years. Bella Hovlich, redacted 15 or
- 16:22Speaker 1: more times. Ricari, right. Bella Hovlich, so this is long-standing. Right,
- 16:28Speaker 1: Ricari says. Many of these girls? Ricari, you got it. Jur,
- 16:32Speaker 1: can you name the two girls that the vaginal penetration
- 16:35Speaker 1: took place with? Ricari, it would be redacted and redacted. Jur,
- 16:40Speaker 1: and how many then would, in your opinion, defined by
- 16:42Speaker 1: the sexual act, how many other girls would fall under
- 16:45Speaker 1: that category? Can you give me some type of count?
- 16:48Speaker 1: Ricari under, well, there's that age, and Belahovic, she pops in,
- 16:53Speaker 1: of course. She has to save her buddy Jeffrey Epstein.
- 16:56Speaker 1: There's the masturbation in front of how many girls? The witness. Um,
- 17:00Speaker 1: there was Belahovic, most of them, he says. In fact,
- 17:04Speaker 1: I would say all of them. Belahovic, okay. Ricari, except
- 17:07Speaker 1: for maybe the legitimate masseuse. Belahovic, but the only one
- 17:10Speaker 1: that was under 16 at the time was redacted. Ricari, right.
- 17:14Speaker 1: She was 14. Correct. Belahovic, okay. Juror. Other than redacted
- 17:19Speaker 1: stepmother coming to the police, she obviously found out from
- 17:22Speaker 1: the principal, but the other girls, none of their parents
- 17:24Speaker 1: knew about it or intervened in any way. Rakari, it
- 17:28Speaker 1: wasn't until parents discovered what she was doing. It was
- 17:31Speaker 1: at that time that she had stopped. And to this day,
- 17:34Speaker 1: she still gets phone calls. She had to change her
- 17:37Speaker 1: cell phone number. They have changed the change their house
- 17:40Speaker 1: number from Sarah Kellen and Epstein. Jer, cause here these
- 17:44Speaker 1: girls are all bringing home this money, they're obviously shopping,
- 17:47Speaker 1: bringing home items, and none of the parents got involved
- 17:50Speaker 1: in any way? Yo, there's a whole lot of victim
- 17:52Speaker 1: shaming going on at this grand jury session, and one
- 17:54Speaker 1: of the main reasons why I'm not a big fan
- 17:57Speaker 1: of the grand jury. And is anyone shocked that they
- 17:59Speaker 1: wanted to keep this secret? Listen to how damning all
- 18:01Speaker 1: of this is. Rakari, a lot of these parents, they
- 18:05Speaker 1: had no idea what was going on. Jer, I can't
- 18:07Speaker 1: believe that. I mean, Bella Hovlik, you have to ask questions,
- 18:11Speaker 1: not comments. Yes, ma'am. Do you have your hand up, Jer?
- 18:14Speaker 1: Let's see, you mentioned Redacted was from Redacted. Rakari, Redacted, yes. Jer,
- 18:20Speaker 1: Redacted was from Redacted. Rakari, no, actually, these, all these girls,
- 18:25Speaker 1: lived in the Redacted area. Redacted area. Juror, okay, any
- 18:30Speaker 1: suspicion that there perhaps were other groups of girls from
- 18:33Speaker 1: other high schools or other areas that he would bring
- 18:36Speaker 1: into his home? The witness, not that I'm aware of,
- 18:39Speaker 1: the common link here was redacted school. And there was
- 18:43Speaker 1: actually comments made from people that say there is nobody
- 18:45Speaker 1: in redacted school that does not know about Jeffrey Epstein.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich calls on somebody else. Yes, sir. The juror.
- 18:53Speaker 1: The girls that brought these girls for $ 200, was that redacted?
- 18:57Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, yes. She was one of the girls. A
- 19:00Speaker 1: juror then, Bella Hovlich, there was another girl that brought them. Juror. Okay,
- 19:04Speaker 1: then after he got some of their cell phone numbers,
- 19:06Speaker 1: did he make his own appointments? Did he still pay redacted? Ricari,
- 19:10Speaker 1: that's correct. Juror, okay. Ricari, and eventually they did cut
- 19:15Speaker 1: out redacted and would contact these girls directly. Juror, oh,
- 19:19Speaker 1: that's okay. Bella Hovlich, did Jeffrey Epstein make the appointments,
- 19:23Speaker 1: or was it done through Sarah Kellen? Ricari, through Sarah Kellen,
- 19:26Speaker 1: his assistant. Bella Hovlich, so we don't have any of
- 19:30Speaker 1: the girls actually making an appointment with Jeffrey Epstein himself. Ricari,
- 19:34Speaker 1: that's correct. Bella Hovlich, were you able to talk with
- 19:37Speaker 1: Sarah Kellen? Ricari, no, the defense did not allow. Juror,
- 19:41Speaker 1: so redacted claim to make it clear to Epstein that
- 19:44Speaker 1: for the two years she was going, she was in
- 19:46Speaker 1: high school, She and, he knew that? Rakari? he knew
- 19:50Speaker 1: that based on the sending the flowers to her school
- 19:53Speaker 1: for her high school play that she was in bella
- 19:55Speaker 1: hovlich anyone else another juror raises their hand what year
- 19:59Speaker 1: when she received the flowers what class was she in
- 20:02Speaker 1: was it a senior a junior Rakari, I want to
- 20:06Speaker 1: say senior, but I'm not 100% positive on that. Juror,
- 20:10Speaker 1: when I ask, that is that, you know, usually a
- 20:12Speaker 1: senior can be 18 years old, whereas a junior is,
- 20:15Speaker 1: you know, that was... And to that, Rakari says right.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And juror, that would give him some knowledge of knowing
- 20:21Speaker 1: how old she was. Bela Hovlik calls on another juror.
- 20:24Speaker 1: The two girls that received rental cars, their parents never
- 20:27Speaker 1: asked them where they got these cars that they were driving. Rakari,
- 20:31Speaker 1: the one girl redacted who's still driving the car. She's
- 20:34Speaker 1: attending college at redacted. Her parents live up here in
- 20:37Speaker 1: in the redacted area. When she does frequent her parents,
- 20:40Speaker 1: the car is a friend's car or is borrowed. Bella Hovlik. Yes, sir.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Another jurors called upon. Can you confirm? I believe it
- 20:48Speaker 1: was redacted had indicated that the conversations with Jeffrey Epstein
- 20:51Speaker 1: was that to make sure that the girls were young. Rakari,
- 20:56Speaker 1: the younger, the better. A juror. And the younger, the better, right?
- 21:00Speaker 1: That was... Rakari, younger, the better was the quote. Juror,
- 21:04Speaker 1: in that conversation, was that in reference to specifically your
- 21:07Speaker 1: friends from your school or... Rakari, that came later. Because
- 21:12Speaker 1: she brought a 23-year-old to provide a massage and he
- 21:15Speaker 1: told her that she was too old. Juror, right. Okay.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Bela Hovlik, okay. Another juror asks a question. Can I
- 21:21Speaker 1: ask you a legal question? Bella Hovlich, uh-huh. Juror, is there,
- 21:26Speaker 1: and it says inaudible here. Bella Hovlich, yes, but we
- 21:29Speaker 1: can discuss that when the detective's not here. Calls on
- 21:33Speaker 1: another juror. Are all these girls available to be called
- 21:35Speaker 1: if the case went to court? Ricari, if it went
- 21:38Speaker 1: to trial, yes. Bella Hovlich, any other questions? Juror, have
- 21:43Speaker 1: you been able to verify Mr. Epstein's age? Ricari, Mr.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Epstein was born in 1951, I believe. 51 or 53,
- 21:51Speaker 1: January of 1953, January 20th, 1953, which would have made
- 21:56Speaker 1: him 52, 53 years of age. Bela Hovlik, and 51, 50,
- 22:02Speaker 1: 51 during the times of these events? The witness, correct.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Bela Hovlik, okay, all right, thank you very much. Juror,
- 22:09Speaker 1: one more. I think there's another question. Bela Hovlik, oops, sorry. Juror,
- 22:13Speaker 1: is there any other evidence that the girls were in
- 22:15Speaker 1: his house besides the one tape, besides what they're saying? Rakari,
- 22:20Speaker 1: he did have two cameras to cover hidden cameras inside
- 22:23Speaker 1: of his house for security purposes. We did locate that computer.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I reviewed the image in the computer and within that
- 22:29Speaker 1: computer there are photographs of girls that I had previously
- 22:32Speaker 1: interviewed that appears to be them. However, because it's so grainy,
- 22:36Speaker 1: so snowy, a positive identification is, you know, it's hard to,
- 22:40Speaker 1: unless you show it to the girls, is this you?
- 22:43Speaker 1: Which I haven't done because too much information was being
- 22:45Speaker 1: leaked back to him. So that's why I pretty much
- 22:48Speaker 1: stopped giving them information as far as this investigation. Bella Hovlik,
- 22:52Speaker 1: so you can't say specifically then the pictures are of
- 22:55Speaker 1: the girls involved? Rakari, I cannot say positively. I can
- 22:59Speaker 1: say that this girl appeared to be like, just like redacted,
- 23:02Speaker 1: same hairstyle, same mannerisms of walking, same clothes, that typical
- 23:06Speaker 1: that I've seen her wear, but I can't say for
- 23:09Speaker 1: 100% that this is her. This appears to be her,
- 23:12Speaker 1: the same body style, face, that type of, Bella Hovlik
- 23:15Speaker 1: interrupts him. And the girls are still in touch with him,
- 23:18Speaker 1: telling him about your investigation. The witness, meaning Ricari, I
- 23:22Speaker 1: know for a fact that redacted, Belahovlik, or telling Sarah
- 23:26Speaker 1: or Nadia. Ricari, right. I know that. Redacted was called.
- 23:30Speaker 1: And other girls that I've interviewed or approached to be
- 23:33Speaker 1: interviewed have called him. And he's cut off by Belahovlik.
- 23:36Speaker 1: And there are other girls that refuse to talk to you. Ricari, right. Belahovlik,
- 23:41Speaker 1: I love Jeffrey. I'm not testifying against him. Ricari, right. Now,
- 23:46Speaker 1: another juror has a question. One question. Didn't you say
- 23:49Speaker 1: that the place in Palm Beach has the residents under surveillance?
- 23:53Speaker 1: The witness. When I took over the investigation, I had
- 23:56Speaker 1: our attack team conduct physical surveillance. And they observed these
- 23:59Speaker 1: girls coming to the residence in their vehicles, in their
- 24:02Speaker 1: dad's car, in their mom's car, coming to the house,
- 24:04Speaker 1: seeing Epstein. The, he's interrupted here by the juror, said
- 24:08Speaker 1: you have witnesses that can put these girls inside. And
- 24:11Speaker 1: to that, Ricari says, absolutely. Juror, that particular residence? Rakari, absolutely. Jur,
- 24:18Speaker 1: there is one other thing. I forgot. Miss Belahovlik, in
- 24:22Speaker 1: or at his home, not in the sex acts, though. Rakari, no,
- 24:25Speaker 1: not in the sex acts. They were conducting surveillance from
- 24:28Speaker 1: the outside. Jur, I know. Did you do any telephone research,
- 24:32Speaker 1: or was everything done over cell phones? Rakari, everything was
- 24:37Speaker 1: done over cell phones. Belahovlik, all right. Thank you very much,
- 24:41Speaker 1: Detective Rakari. All right, we're going to wrap up here.
- 24:44Speaker 1: And in the next episode, we're going to pick up
- 24:46Speaker 1: where we left off. And this time, a new witness
- 24:48Speaker 1: is taking the stand. And that's Gregory Parkinson. All of
- 24:52Speaker 1: the information that goes with this episode can be found
- 24:55Speaker 1: in the description box. What's up, everyone? And welcome back
- 24:59Speaker 1: to the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to
- 25:02Speaker 1: pick up where we left off with the grand jury transcripts.
- 25:06Speaker 1: And that's with a new witness, Gregory Parkinson. Miss Dugan. Okay,
- 25:11Speaker 1: would you raise your right hand? Parkinson. Yes. Miss Dugan.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Do you swear or affirm the testimony you're about to
- 25:18Speaker 1: give today will be the truth, the whole truth, and
- 25:21Speaker 1: nothing but the truth, so help you God? The witness. Yes,
- 25:24Speaker 1: I do. The examination. Miss Belahovlik. Okay, would you introduce
- 25:29Speaker 1: yourself to the grand jurors, please? Parkinson. Good morning, ladies
- 25:33Speaker 1: and gentlemen. My name is Gregory Parkinson. Belahovlik. How long
- 25:38Speaker 1: have you been employed as a law enforcement officer? Answer.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I've been in the business 40 years now. I started
- 25:44Speaker 1: on October 25th of 1966. Bella Hovlich. And where were
- 25:49Speaker 1: you working then? Answer. I worked for the West Palm
- 25:52Speaker 1: Beach Police Department, where I served for 34 years until
- 25:56Speaker 1: I retired on July 3rd of the year 2000. I
- 26:00Speaker 1: had the 4th of July off and went to work
- 26:02Speaker 1: the next day as an investigator for the state attorney's office,
- 26:06Speaker 1: where I've worked for three years. I left on February
- 26:09Speaker 1: 14th of 2003 and had the weekend off, and then
- 26:12Speaker 1: took over a management position with the town of Palm
- 26:15Speaker 1: Beach Police Department, where I'm still currently employed. Bela Hovlik.
- 26:19Speaker 1: What's your position with the Palm Beach Police Department? Answer.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I hold the rank of police officer, but I also
- 26:25Speaker 1: hold the title of civilian, where I am in charge
- 26:28Speaker 1: of the crime scene investigation unit, the photography unit, the
- 26:32Speaker 1: evidence holding unit, and the fingerprint unit. Bela Hovlik. In
- 26:36Speaker 1: your capacity as the crime scene head, did you take
- 26:39Speaker 1: part in the search warrant executed on Jeffrey Epstein's house
- 26:42Speaker 1: on August, October 20th, 2005? Answer, yes I did. Bela Hovlik,
- 26:49Speaker 1: tell us how you go about executing a search warrant
- 26:51Speaker 1: in general. Answer, once the warrant is signed and brought
- 26:55Speaker 1: back to headquarters, I'm not aware of this at that time.
- 26:58Speaker 1: On this morning, which was a Thursday morning, when I
- 27:01Speaker 1: went to the morning briefing at that time, I was
- 27:03Speaker 1: informed that a search warrant would be executed and that
- 27:06Speaker 1: it would be at this residence. My responsibility is then
- 27:09Speaker 1: to assemble the team of evidence specialists and crime scene
- 27:12Speaker 1: processors that will respond to this unannounced scene. We don't
- 27:16Speaker 1: even know where we're going until we're in what looks
- 27:19Speaker 1: like a funeral procession or a parade. All the cars
- 27:22Speaker 1: are ready to go. We follow the lead car. And
- 27:25Speaker 1: only then, when we arrive, do we know the location.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Bela Hovlik, why is that done? Answer, it's an issue
- 27:33Speaker 1: of security. It's an issue of privacy. And it's an
- 27:35Speaker 1: issue of officer safety. So that there's a guarantee that
- 27:39Speaker 1: there can be no leak of any information, even as
- 27:42Speaker 1: simple as an address from my office. And we prefer
- 27:45Speaker 1: to operate in that manner. So we don't know until
- 27:47Speaker 1: we get there. All we really need to know is
- 27:50Speaker 1: that we are going to be going into so that
- 27:52Speaker 1: we know the volume of bags, the volume of boxes,
- 27:55Speaker 1: the volume of gloves or masks or processing gowns or
- 27:58Speaker 1: lab coats. Whether we would need head cover to protect
- 28:01Speaker 1: or to prevent contamination of a scene or shoe covers,
- 28:05Speaker 1: which also prevent contamination of the scene. We don't need
- 28:09Speaker 1: to know a lot about the scene. We only need
- 28:11Speaker 1: to know what type of evidence we're going to be
- 28:13Speaker 1: looking for and the potential volume or size of the area.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Knowing this, we are then prepared to go to the
- 28:19Speaker 1: scene and do whatever is necessary to fulfill the requirements
- 28:22Speaker 1: of the search warrant. And that's searching for specific items. Ms. Belahovlich. Mr. Parkinson,
- 28:28Speaker 1: so that would, in addition to officer safety, so that's
- 28:31Speaker 1: someone not waiting there to ambush you? Also, nobody at
- 28:35Speaker 1: the place to be searched knows you're coming, so they
- 28:38Speaker 1: can't just dispose of things? Answer, that's correct. Bello Hovlik, okay.
- 28:42Speaker 1: On this date, October 20th, where did you go? Answer,
- 28:46Speaker 1: I went to a residence located on the island of
- 28:48Speaker 1: Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, with the address of
- 28:52Speaker 1: 358 El Brío Way. The 300 block is the block
- 28:56Speaker 1: just immediately... West of the intercoastal waterway. Belahovlik, east of
- 29:01Speaker 1: the intercoastal waterway? Answer, it is on the east side
- 29:06Speaker 1: of the intercoastal waterway. In fact, this particular residence is
- 29:10Speaker 1: on the intercoastal waterway. Belahovlik, okay, describe to us how
- 29:14Speaker 1: the house is entered. Answer, the residence had staff or
- 29:19Speaker 1: personnel present at the time of our arrival. Detective Rakari
- 29:22Speaker 1: went in ahead of me. And understanding that once you
- 29:25Speaker 1: enter the property, there is a heightened danger factor with
- 29:28Speaker 1: persons or personnel on the scene. And the first thing
- 29:31Speaker 1: that must be done for everyone's safety is to go
- 29:34Speaker 1: in and not search for items, but clear the residence
- 29:37Speaker 1: of living human beings so that there can be no
- 29:39Speaker 1: access to weapons. or any endangerment to them. This was done,
- 29:43Speaker 1: and I took part in the search of the second
- 29:45Speaker 1: floor on the west end of the residence. All the
- 29:48Speaker 1: living persons, and there were no dead persons there, so
- 29:51Speaker 1: all of the persons, non-police persons, were escorted out to
- 29:55Speaker 1: the south side of the residence into a patio area. Belahovlik,
- 29:59Speaker 1: Were they allowed to take any items out of the
- 30:01Speaker 1: home with them? Answer, no. Nor did the police look, touch,
- 30:04Speaker 1: or move anything, other than opening doors, closets, to make
- 30:08Speaker 1: sure that there were no other persons inside. It was
- 30:11Speaker 1: not a search in the sense of the search warrant
- 30:13Speaker 1: at this time. It was a search of the residence
- 30:16Speaker 1: to clear it and neutralize any element of danger. This
- 30:19Speaker 1: was done. This was accomplished. At this time, Officer Detective
- 30:23Speaker 1: Ricari would read out loud, word for word, the search
- 30:26Speaker 1: warrant to those persons that were removed from the house.
- 30:29Speaker 1: My responsibility at this time was to video and audio
- 30:32Speaker 1: record the reading of that search warrant to these persons.
- 30:35Speaker 1: That I did. And recorded it until the conclusion of
- 30:38Speaker 1: the reading of the search warrant. Bella Hovlik, okay, were
- 30:42Speaker 1: you requested by myself to prepare a diagram of the
- 30:45Speaker 1: upper floor of the home searched? Answer, yes I was.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Bella Hovlik, what rooms are on the upper floor? Answer,
- 30:51Speaker 1: there are several rooms that are located on the second floor.
- 30:54Speaker 1: It's basically an L-shaped appearance where the main body of
- 30:57Speaker 1: the house is aligned east and west. There is an
- 31:00Speaker 1: L-shaped short leg, which protrudes to the north. That actually sits,
- 31:05Speaker 1: that L-leg, sits over a three-car garage. The second floor contains,
- 31:10Speaker 1: on the west end, a large master bedroom, which is
- 31:12Speaker 1: aligned north and south. And then, off of the south side,
- 31:16Speaker 1: there is a large master bedroom and large closet. Coming
- 31:19Speaker 1: back through the bathroom to the north side, there is
- 31:22Speaker 1: another bathroom. And these are quite large bathrooms. They're not
- 31:25Speaker 1: like our, he's cut off there by Bela Hovlik, And
- 31:28Speaker 1: then he continues, you know, not like my house. Bella Hovlich,
- 31:32Speaker 1: is this the diagram you prepared? Answer, yes, it is.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich, okay, can I ask you to step down
- 31:38Speaker 1: and indicate to the grand jurors what the upstairs looks like?
- 31:42Speaker 1: What rooms we're seeing here? Answer, to orient you, bear
- 31:46Speaker 1: in mind, you're looking at the second floor here. And
- 31:49Speaker 1: this is a spiral staircase, which goes from the second
- 31:51Speaker 1: floor down to the first floor. And this, coincidentally, is
- 31:55Speaker 1: a double door main entrance to the front of the house.
- 31:57Speaker 1: And once inside, oops, jer, broke the stairway. Answer, I did.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I broke the stairway. Once entering the front door and
- 32:05Speaker 1: coming up the stairway, you entered a landing. Once inside
- 32:08Speaker 1: the landing, it's basically a very long hallway. This hallway
- 32:12Speaker 1: has a double door set here and a double door
- 32:14Speaker 1: set here. They open inward on the east side. They
- 32:17Speaker 1: open inward on the west side. Once coming through this hallway,
- 32:21Speaker 1: you then reach a normal-sized door, which gives you access
- 32:24Speaker 1: to the master bedroom, which is the master bedroom. This
- 32:28Speaker 1: is the large bathroom on the south side, and this
- 32:31Speaker 1: is the large walk-in closet of which there are two
- 32:33Speaker 1: doors that you can enter and walk in all the
- 32:35Speaker 1: way through and back out to the other. And again,
- 32:38Speaker 1: moving back through the bedroom past the hallway, you then
- 32:41Speaker 1: enter another large bathroom, which has a sink, closets, and
- 32:45Speaker 1: a large bathtub. And it was right here, what looked
- 32:47Speaker 1: very similar to a dentist chair without the big light.
- 32:51Speaker 1: It had all kinds of tubes and things on it.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I don't know really what the thing would do. Answer No,
- 32:57Speaker 1: it was just part of the furniture there, like similar
- 33:00Speaker 1: to a bed was here and a credenza over there. Belahovlik,
- 33:05Speaker 1: are these toilet facilities here or is it just sinks
- 33:09Speaker 1: in these bathrooms? Answer, I believe that there were toilets
- 33:13Speaker 1: also there in the hall. Belahovlik, all right. Did you
- 33:16Speaker 1: find a massage table? Answer, yes, there was a massage
- 33:19Speaker 1: table in the bathroom. Belahovlik, okay, how about massage oils?
- 33:23Speaker 1: Were there massage oils up in that bathroom? Answer, I
- 33:26Speaker 1: believe there were. I know that we got some kind
- 33:28Speaker 1: of jar of material out of his master bedroom, out
- 33:31Speaker 1: of one of the dressers. Bela Hovlik, what about the
- 33:35Speaker 1: actual room where the massage table was in? Answer, that
- 33:38Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I was involved in the actual search
- 33:41Speaker 1: and photography of that. Other investigators would have to comment
- 33:44Speaker 1: on it. Bela Hovlik, okay. Do you have the reports? Answer,
- 33:49Speaker 1: yes I do. Are they from the investigators, Bela Hovlik asks? Answer, well,
- 33:54Speaker 1: I have the evidence sheets. Bela Hovlik, okay. Answer, of
- 33:58Speaker 1: where the things were found. Belahovlik, okay, could you see
- 34:01Speaker 1: if there were any massage oils found within the same
- 34:04Speaker 1: room where the massage table was? Answer, okay, and items
- 34:08Speaker 1: that would be taken into custody by the police department
- 34:11Speaker 1: would be itemized on the property receipt. Like that? Answer,
- 34:14Speaker 1: that's true. Belahovlik, okay, but so there was a massage
- 34:19Speaker 1: oil found by the master bedroom. This room? Answer, yes,
- 34:23Speaker 1: and I actually had that pointed out to me by
- 34:25Speaker 1: Detective Ricari. And it was called a bottle or joy jelly.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And it was from the master bedroom in the credenza,
- 34:32Speaker 1: which was right here. Bella Hovlik, okay. You could have
- 34:36Speaker 1: a seat again. Answer, thank you. Bella Hovlik, thank you.
- 34:40Speaker 1: You've had a chance to go over the receipts of
- 34:42Speaker 1: all the properties that was contained? Answer, yes. Bella Hovlik,
- 34:46Speaker 1: did any of the officers find a purple vibrator at
- 34:49Speaker 1: the home? Answer, I have item 24, which, which may
- 34:53Speaker 1: be that. I have not actually seen it, but it's
- 34:56Speaker 1: called a twin torpedo. Belahovlik, alright, the twin torpedo was
- 34:59Speaker 1: not found in the master bedroom though. Wasn't it found
- 35:03Speaker 1: in another bedroom? I think Detective Ricari testified it was
- 35:06Speaker 1: found in Ghislaine Maxwell's or Nadia's bedroom. Answer, I don't know.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I don't have a listing right here on this particular
- 35:13Speaker 1: document as to where it was found on the evidence sheet.
- 35:17Speaker 1: That would be covered in Detective Ricari's report. Belahovlik, nothing
- 35:21Speaker 1: listed as a purple vibrator though? Answer, not on the
- 35:24Speaker 1: sheets that I have. Belahovlik, what about a white vibrator? Answer,
- 35:29Speaker 1: I don't remember seeing a white vibrator. There may have
- 35:31Speaker 1: been something that was recovered by them and photographed by C.S.I. Pavlich. Belahovlik,
- 35:37Speaker 1: but you have the property receipts in this case and
- 35:40Speaker 1: it's not listed. Answer, I don't see it listed here, no. Belahovlik, okay.
- 35:45Speaker 1: At this point, I'm going to see if the grand
- 35:47Speaker 1: jurors have any further questions for you. The witness, I'm
- 35:51Speaker 1: at your service. A juror gets called upon. Do you
- 35:55Speaker 1: have any sexual toys other than the double-headed torpedo on
- 35:58Speaker 1: the list? The witness. Not on the list that I
- 36:01Speaker 1: have here, sir. Juror. That's the only sexual toy you have? Witness. Pardon? Juror.
- 36:08Speaker 1: That's the only sexual toy that was confiscated in this search? Witness.
- 36:12Speaker 1: I believe, to my knowledge, it is. I haven't seen
- 36:15Speaker 1: the white or purple, so I can't. He gets cut
- 36:18Speaker 1: off here by the juror. Or any other type of
- 36:21Speaker 1: sexual toy, period. Witness, right. Personally, I have not seen those. Juror, okay. Witness,
- 36:27Speaker 1: but that is not uncommon either, because of the nature
- 36:29Speaker 1: of this investigation. Detective Rakari would be the one that
- 36:33Speaker 1: has the knowledge on all those specific items. Other than
- 36:36Speaker 1: filming the room itself, or, I'm sorry, the residence itself
- 36:39Speaker 1: prior to the search, recording the reading of the search warrant,
- 36:43Speaker 1: and then, folks, also after the search, I go through
- 36:46Speaker 1: the re-video to show that the police did not do
- 36:49Speaker 1: any damage. And then the door is finally locked and secured.
- 36:53Speaker 1: So there would be areas while I was in it,
- 36:55Speaker 1: I photographed it from a video standpoint, I would not
- 36:58Speaker 1: have direct knowledge of some of the items that were found.
- 37:02Speaker 1: But Detective Ricari would. Bella Hovlik. And you obtained copies
- 37:06Speaker 1: of all the evidence sheets of evidence checked in, correct? Witness?
- 37:10Speaker 1: I think so, yes. Bella Hovlik? Yes. Witness? Yes. Bella Hovlik? Yes.
- 37:16Speaker 1: And only that twin torpedo is the only sexual item
- 37:19Speaker 1: that was listed? Witness, as best as I can tell, correct. Belahovlik, okay.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Calls on the next juror. Is that report just from
- 37:28Speaker 1: the master bedroom, or from all the bedrooms on the
- 37:30Speaker 1: second floor? Witness, actually it represents the entire residence, plus
- 37:35Speaker 1: the two, the servants' quarters, barracks, and on the southwest corner,
- 37:40Speaker 1: the fitness and exercise room. I believe this encompasses everything. Juror,
- 37:45Speaker 1: Can you point out what room that this woman Nadia
- 37:49Speaker 1: was in? Bela Hovlik, are you familiar with which bedroom
- 37:53Speaker 1: was Nadia's? Witness, I am not. Bela Hovlik, Detective Ricari,
- 37:58Speaker 1: we can. The witness, right. Bela Hovlik, bring him back
- 38:02Speaker 1: in to show that, okay? Witness, right. Bela Hovlik, any
- 38:05Speaker 1: other questions? Another juror raises their hand. Was the suspect
- 38:09Speaker 1: at the house at the time you served the warrant, sir? Witness,
- 38:12Speaker 1: no sir, he was not. Juror, thank you. The next
- 38:15Speaker 1: juror is called upon. Do your warrants have anything listed
- 38:19Speaker 1: for like computer equipment or things like that? Witness, it did. Juror,
- 38:23Speaker 1: it did. Witness, yes. And we did take the computer equipment. Juror,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and can you say what's on it? Witness, that was
- 38:31Speaker 1: handled by the special investigations unit. And while I saw,
- 38:34Speaker 1: actually physically saw the computers and saw them disconnected and removed,
- 38:39Speaker 1: I never saw anything that was on those computers. Juror,
- 38:43Speaker 1: And did they confiscate passports or anything from anyone in
- 38:45Speaker 1: the home? Witness. No, sir. No passports. And there were
- 38:49Speaker 1: no weapons in the house. Rifles. Juror. They left them. Yeah. Yes, sir.
- 38:54Speaker 1: They were left behind because that was never part of
- 38:56Speaker 1: what we were looking for. So those were all left behind.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Bella Hovlich calls on the next juror. Could you tell
- 39:03Speaker 1: us the people that you found there? Who was there? Witness.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Do I know who they were? Juror. The people. Yeah.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Who were they? Witness. Witness. I understand one was the
- 39:12Speaker 1: property manager. I think he was either Germanic or possibly Polish.
- 39:16Speaker 1: He had an Eastern European accent. Jur? Was that the
- 39:19Speaker 1: only person? Witness? No, there were, I think, three people there. Jur?
- 39:24Speaker 1: Who were they? Witness? I don't know who they were, sir.
- 39:27Speaker 1: bella hovlich we can ask detective ricari witness right detective
- 39:31Speaker 1: ricari would know who they are juror do you know
- 39:34Speaker 1: what the gentleman that owned the house was out did
- 39:36Speaker 1: they tell you he was out of town witness yeah
- 39:40Speaker 1: we knew he was out of town yes bella hovlich
- 39:42Speaker 1: all right thank you witness thank you All right, so
- 39:46Speaker 1: this is where we're going to wrap up, where they
- 39:48Speaker 1: let go of the witness here. And the next witness
- 39:51Speaker 1: that they're bringing up is going to be Joe Ricari
- 39:54Speaker 1: once again. And in the next episode, that's where we're
- 39:57Speaker 1: going to pick up. All of the information that goes
- 40:00Speaker 1: with this episode can be found in the description box.
