- 0:00Speaker 1: Unleashing Kingdom Voices podcast.
- 0:02Speaker 1: I've got to get used to saying that hey, I'm Teresa Croft and so glad you're with us.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Buy myself this time, because I always like to talk about a word, something that the Lord has impressed on me for the next year.
- 0:16Speaker 1: And it's interesting last year do you know what the word was?
- 0:20Speaker 1: It was a boomerangs of His glory for 2023.
- 0:23Speaker 1: And I can look back and say, yeah, God's glory, god's restoration.
- 0:30Speaker 1: The last year was really a turnaround year for me in so many ways Lots of healing from the trauma of losing my husband and all of that involved.
- 0:40Speaker 1: It's not my identity, but just lots of stuff, lots of like revved up to say, hey, this is it, I'm going to do this, I'm going to do the hard work.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Sorry, we're live, so we have cat in our prayers.
- 0:51Speaker 1: So I was really thinking about this coming year and I almost said I'm going to flesh this out.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm not going to flesh it out, I'm going to listen to the Holy Spirit.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Sometimes I can go live and flesh it out.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So what's the word?
- 1:02Speaker 1: I really believe I had open doors and legacy on my mind.
- 1:07Speaker 1: So I really believe legacy and open doors is a setup for 2024 for you.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I'm talking to you.
- 1:14Speaker 1: This resonates, grab it, share it, proclaim it.
- 1:17Speaker 1: So I said legacy first.
- 1:20Speaker 1: But really you've got to look at the open doors first.
- 1:22Speaker 1: And the open doors was crushing in a blowing in.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I saw this verse and it's let me see if I can find it it's like the Lord of breakthroughs through open doors.
- 1:35Speaker 1: That is the word here.
- 1:37Speaker 1: So David went to ball parasm and defeated them there and said, like a bursting flood, the Lord has burst out against my enemies before me.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Therefore he named that place.
- 1:49Speaker 1: The Lord burst out.
- 1:50Speaker 1: So that was really on my mind a while back.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Bursting out, yeah, that's it.
- 1:54Speaker 1: But if you know, ball parasm has like two meanings to it.
- 2:00Speaker 1: In that one word it's the.
- 2:02Speaker 1: It's the Lord of breaking through open doors.
- 2:05Speaker 1: And then what gets what?
- 2:07Speaker 1: The second part is the possessor of breaches.
- 2:10Speaker 1: There's a legacy.
- 2:11Speaker 1: So sometimes your open doors are creating legacy as you go forward.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm really just legacy.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I guess it's my age.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I want to leave a legacy, yes, for my children.
- 2:24Speaker 1: But it's not like a see me, teresa, how to work.
- 2:26Speaker 1: It's like oh, it's my heart desire out of my relationship with Jesus.
- 2:30Speaker 1: How did that overflow?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Everywhere I go, can I just bring his presence.
- 2:35Speaker 1: No one has to notice that.
- 2:38Speaker 1: This maybe the atmosphere of change that has been so on my heart from last couple of months to now to today.
- 2:45Speaker 1: So let's look at open doors.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think this coming year I'm just going to say it you're going to have the divine opportunities and the timing is going to be just right.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Did you hear me?
- 2:56Speaker 1: You're not going to be too late, the timing is going to be just right.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I like to think of it, that God can orchestrate these.
- 3:06Speaker 1: How do you say it?
- 3:07Speaker 1: Open doors.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I love Psalm two, verse eight.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Check this out.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Ask me to give you the nations and I will do it, and they shall become your legacy.
- 3:16Speaker 1: We could just stop the podcast right there.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Ask me to give you the nations and I will do it.
- 3:24Speaker 1: See what I think?
- 3:25Speaker 1: I just don't really want my nation.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I just want maybe my family back or something like that.
- 3:30Speaker 1: But look at a big God, big God, big legacy for you.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I love that one.
- 3:33Speaker 1: So I think this verse really encourages you to dream big With God in the picture, to pray with boldness, to have your time with him and just say God the power of death and life's in my word.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I'm going to start speaking life in these areas that I want to see breakthrough, that I want to see a breaking forth.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And what I like about it.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It's not just about you, it's also it's beyond the personal gain, it's also about impacting the world, which extends the kingdom of God To the ends of the earth.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Sounds really big, but I really believe that breakthrough, open doors, is for you.
- 4:14Speaker 1: So then we go.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It's legacy and breakthrough or open doors.
- 4:17Speaker 1: But let's go to legacy.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Huh, been doing it, emotional about it in your version, and I had to do it twice because it was like every chapter was like oh, my heart.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I think they said legacy is the matter of your heart.
- 4:33Speaker 1: But this concept of legacy is highlighted by a verse that really impacted me last year at this time, after losing my husband and looking at my two kids.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It's Proverbs 13, 22 says a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So this year is an invitation to contemplate and cultivate what we are sowing into the lives of future generations, not just financially.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Each action, each decision, think about that.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It's a seed planted for the prosperity and the spiritual growth of those who follow you.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I like to think of it this way and when I really think of legacy.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I was blessed with a father.
- 5:15Speaker 1: He passed away at 48, but he was a man who was a banker and he just carried kingdom wealth.
- 5:24Speaker 1: He was a big giver.
- 5:25Speaker 1: He had five kids, five mouths to feed.
- 5:28Speaker 1: That's in itself it's pretty amazing.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Then I think of his dad.
- 5:32Speaker 1: My grandfather walked with such hmm, they just walked with wealth but not showing off wealth.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Walked with giving, but not giving to everyone.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'll never forget it.
- 5:46Speaker 1: He liked me because I was a golfer back then I was learning to golf, and I'll never forget it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: He like said Teresa, come over here and he gave me a pair of golf cleats.
- 5:54Speaker 1: He says don't tell the other cousins, I gave this to you and I was like golf cleats, this is awesome, but don't tell, he was just a giver and he was a.
- 6:04Speaker 1: My father and my grandfather really were the dreamers helping me dream to be a professional golfer, which I was for three years, but took a left turn.
- 6:13Speaker 1: That's another story.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So open doors and legacy, and this is all wrapped up with this thought do it in Jesus's pace, there's no striving here.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I'm saying that to myself as I say open doors and legacy, there's no.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Ah, I'm gonna do this.
- 6:29Speaker 1: It's you walk in the unforth rhythms of grace.
- 6:33Speaker 1: That's how Jesus walked, unforced.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I like to say you come from rest to run.
- 6:39Speaker 1: There are some practical steps.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I'll just give you some practical steps because I want you to take on 2024 in gamebusters ways, and we're gonna help you.
- 6:48Speaker 1: That's why the sacred60challengecomforgetib is there, because we're gonna be doing a lot of these things.
- 6:54Speaker 1: When I say we, girl Power Alliance, we're joining together to be community with you to walk into the new year with holy, healthy habits that could impact the rest of your year.
- 7:05Speaker 1: But that's not really what this is about.
- 7:07Speaker 1: But you can go check it out.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Practical steps, though, for embracing legacy and open doors.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Let's look at number one Reflect and plan for legacy.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Consider how your actions today are gonna impact future generations.
- 7:23Speaker 1: What spiritual, moral and material legacy do you wish to leave behind?
- 7:29Speaker 1: I'm like sitting in Anna when I get up there in age, I'm gonna have to give you the password to my Evernote, because that's where I've done all my notes and all my writing, and three devotionals are all in there.
- 7:41Speaker 1: It's like I don't wanna leave that locked in the cloud.
- 7:44Speaker 1: She just looked at me like mom, you're not that old, okay, number two.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I love this one Seek open doors.
- 7:52Speaker 1: In prayer I really, toward the latter part of last year, was really asking God what open doors do you want me to go?
- 7:58Speaker 1: Cause I went through some big ones for me, went to a speaking academy, went to a Build your Brand AI conference, two masterminds Washington State, vancouver, bc.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I really I was seeking God to open some doors.
- 8:12Speaker 1: So I regularly it's asking God for the nations what part of the nation do you want to bring his presence into?
- 8:18Speaker 1: And it's also opportunities for you to really expand your influence for his glory.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Number three, number three slow down to Jesus' pace, walk in those unforths risms of grace, walk from a place of rest and not strategy.
- 8:40Speaker 1: How do you do that?
- 8:41Speaker 1: You regularly take time to disconnect from the hustle and embrace moments of quiet, reflection and prayer, aligning with the rhythms of grace.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I didn't feel good last night and I woke up like at two or three and I got up early.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Early, for me was seven thirty, but I was just sitting there, was dark and I was just like man.
- 9:02Speaker 1: God, this whole year, it's like, and since maybe May, my times with you have been so easy in that I have to have them because I have to have them.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I'll just leave it at that.
- 9:16Speaker 1: But I feel like I'm almost like a child, talking to you about my needs, about what I'm worried about or what I'm not worried about, my friends, just just like an ease of being able to do that.
- 9:27Speaker 1: So I think that's slowed down to Jesus's pace.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I love that phrase.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Number four is embrace opportunities.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Be vigilant for new doors that God is opening your life and your career and your ministry, your relationships and personal growth.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I found out in mid December there was a major women's marketing conference in Alpharetta and I can't tell you how excited I was.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I don't have to travel.
- 9:52Speaker 1: And then last week I found another major conference that I'm a part of.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It's going to be in Atlanta.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I'm like, oh God, thank you, I don't mind flying, but I've got a cat that I've got to figure out how to take care of.
- 10:04Speaker 1: But it is nice to be in your own bed on those major conferences.
- 10:08Speaker 1: So embrace opportunities.
- 10:10Speaker 1: What opportunities are?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Is God knocking on the door and you're kind of like ignoring them?
- 10:15Speaker 1: Sometimes growth is a stretch and the stretch can be very uncomfortable.
- 10:21Speaker 1: The stretch for new friends, like on the Sacred Sixty Challenge, I'm going to have weekly Zoom meetings.
- 10:27Speaker 1: It might be a stretch to get on a Zoom and meet some people, but it might be the greatest turnaround of your life and meeting the person that God wants you to be friends with.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I'm a testimony to that.
- 10:40Speaker 1: And another thing is share testimonies.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Testimony in Hebrew means do it again, so be ever sharing a testimony.
- 10:48Speaker 1: That's kind of like what I'm sharing here, even though I'm giving a word as you experience God's perfect timing and open doors.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Share these testimonies to encourage, inspire others.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Share testimonies.
- 11:00Speaker 1: In May of last year I was just really struggling with things that I didn't know.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I was struggling with the effects of trauma in your body, had watery eyes, lethargy.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I thought I was doing good, getting caught up.
- 11:12Speaker 1: And then boom, I met I'm one of free contests to spend an hour with a certified neuropsychophysicist by the name of Alana Vandeventer and it's like after that first hour, what do you got?
- 11:28Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 11:29Speaker 1: I want it.
- 11:29Speaker 1: So that's a testimony.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I want to share a testimony.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to take what may seem an uncomfortable step to do something, to do business with yourself, and that means your soul.
- 11:43Speaker 1: That does mean your physical body, your mental, emotional, spiritual.
- 11:47Speaker 1: So that's testimonies and stewardship Act, responsible with the resources and opportunities given to you.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Remember they're not just for your benefit but for the benefit of others.
- 12:01Speaker 1: You may think, oh, that's not very much, they don't, they need it.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But that's too.
- 12:06Speaker 1: It doesn't matter how small or how big you give.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It makes a difference.
- 12:14Speaker 1: In the kingdom realm, like, you could give $104 and God's kingdom realm can multiply that.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I really believe that.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Give it, watch God do something with it.
- 12:24Speaker 1: In a testimony there's been one or two families, two families that have really given to me as a widow, really grateful.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I just don't take that lightly.
- 12:36Speaker 1: They're little as expanded.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Finally, community engagement Connect with like-minded individuals and communities who are also walking this path of legacy and open doors.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Legacy and open doors in 2024, how can it start?
- 12:53Speaker 1: It can start right now.
- 12:55Speaker 1: That's why I got the Sacred Sixty Challenge.
- 12:59Speaker 1: This talk is not promoting that.
- 13:01Speaker 1: This talk is just me sharing on this podcast, open doors, just sharing.
- 13:08Speaker 1: But I'm excited I got something to link you to.
- 13:12Speaker 1: You don't have to.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm just sharing with you as we journey through this new year.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Let's just remember that our legacy is not just for us, it's for generations to come.
- 13:25Speaker 1: It's a time to step into the fullness of God's glory when God is prepared.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I think of Elijah and Elisha.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Elisha is like oh, give me a double portion.
- 13:38Speaker 1: That wasn't an eager for an open door.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I think Elijah told him to go away, but Elisha was on his tail.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Then it happened A chariot of fire came in between him.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Elijah was gone and Elisha was left.
- 13:52Speaker 1: What did he have?
- 13:52Speaker 1: He had an open door of a double portion.
- 13:55Speaker 1: He had an open door for legacy, for impact.
- 13:59Speaker 1: I just love the stories of where Elisha was used by God to impact.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I love the widow.
- 14:05Speaker 1: The second king's four is one of my favorite places to camp out when I wonder about the open doors, when I wonder about legacy, no, what do you have in your house?
- 14:14Speaker 1: I have a computer, I have a camera, I have a microphone, I have lights.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I'm really excited about that Open doors and legacy in 2024.
- 14:28Speaker 1: One thing that I want to share with you that you might see a little different in me is that I have been studying diligently artificial intelligence since May.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Ai, yeah, coming up.
- 14:38Speaker 1: You can check it out.

- 15:42Speaker 1: That's going to be a really amazing setup for this word of legacy and open doors in 2024.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Finally, I just want to say something to someone.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Hey, kelly Ball.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I just want to say something to someone who just feels like I don't know.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm so curious if I even have the strength to make it to the next day.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Everything has hit me.
- 16:06Speaker 1: It's hit the fan.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I just want to speak a word of hope for you.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I want you to know that what you're going through matters to God.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Better yet, you matter to God.
- 16:20Speaker 1: There's a verse in Psalm 136, I think.
- 16:23Speaker 1: It says the Lord perfects that which concerns him.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You concern him, you concern him.
- 16:31Speaker 1: It also a verse that says as far as the east is from the west so far has removed our transgressions from us.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You're never one step so far that you can't come back in right relationship with Jesus.
- 16:44Speaker 1: There's also a verse in that saying that as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for us.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You just don't understand.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Do you understand how much he loves you, how much he longs for you?
- 16:57Speaker 1: Just to hold you close.
- 16:59Speaker 1: You just draw near to God.
- 17:01Speaker 1: And it says in the word he will draw near to you Some of my favorite verses pouring out at you.
- 17:07Speaker 1: So let me know if this resonates or not.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I would love to hear if it resonates or not.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Just drop a comment and just really believe in you, just believe you got a voice.
- 17:22Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be on a podcast, okay, but I believe you have a voice.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I believe you have something that's so extra to what you think is ordinary that becomes the extraordinary solution to someone's pain points.
- 17:34Speaker 1: We need your voice, friend.
- 17:36Speaker 1: We need you to step up the plate as God breaks open the doors and you get to walk in and set the precedent and start setting some legacy moves.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I don't want you to think of that as a big thing.
- 17:50Speaker 1: It just starts with one step and I will say, can I just say this?
- 17:54Speaker 1: You guys think I'm promoting this, but I'm just this is there.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I'm so glad I have it there.
- 17:58Speaker 1: The one step January 1st.
- 18:00Speaker 1: These aren't goals.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Hello, hear me, these are not goals.
- 18:04Speaker 1: No goals, these are not goals.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Kat, this is a way of life, a way of doing community, the sacred60challengecom.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Forward, slash T.
- 18:15Speaker 1: The reason I say forward, slash T, if you don't join with me, you won't be a part of the live Zoom, because I won't know that you're there.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Why don't we start together and develop some holy habits to really?
- 18:28Speaker 1: I think it could be a setup 60 days, two months.
- 18:31Speaker 1: We're gonna go 63 days, two months of really setting the foundation for legacy.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Setting the foundation for this is gonna be a great year.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Setting a foundation for I can forget what lies behind and I can reach for to what lies ahead.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Unleashed and Keen the Voice is.
- 18:53Speaker 1: That's the new name of our podcast and I'm so glad you joined us.
