- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: Dr. Steve Turley joined me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: The wave is here.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: The populist rind just had one of its greatest weekends in modern European history.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: And the globalist establishment is absolutely scrambling.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: From the streets of Marseille to Rhine Valley, voters across France and Germany sent a thunderous message this weekend.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: The era of the progressive left is over.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, your Patre professor, analyzing current events and light of conservative trends with breaking news and analysis you're not going to get anywhere else.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: So make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: Let's start in France because what happened there over the weekend really is nothing short of seismic.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: With over 35,000 mayoral seats across France up for grabs in the municipal elections,
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: France's Patriot Party, the National Rally, saw their biggest breakthrough in their entire history.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: In the first round, the National Rally surged across major southern cities, Marseilles, Nes, Toulon, cities were just a few years ago, really National Rally candidates were being laughed off the ballot.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: in city after city, working class voters, small business owners, farmers, the people the French elite to spend decades ignoring came out in mass for the populist right, all told National Rally won 58 municipalities across the country, a dramatic increase.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: From the 11 municipalities, they went back in 2020, again, that was just the first round.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: In the second round of elections, which was yesterday, the liberal globalists did what they always do.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: They panicked and form what's called a Republican front.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: So this is what European parliamentary politics in general does to try to box out the populist right from power.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: All the parties that were eliminated
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: In the first round formed a cynical coalition of the left and the center specifically designed to block national rally wins.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: And in a few key cities like Toulon and Massayet work, barely, but it was all ultimately for not.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: National Rally 1 dozens of local constituencies where previously had zero representation, zero.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: They're planting their flag in communities across France that haven't seen a right-wing mayor in a generation.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: Take a look at this map.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: This will give you a sense of just how seismic this election was.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they do the opposite in Europe, okay?
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: The blue areas are where the right one, where the red areas where the left runs, one.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: So obviously, you can see how dominant the French writers become.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Again, it looks very similar to our electoral map, but again, the opposite was so much of it.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: covered in red with pithetically small little blue splatches here or there.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly what France is seeing.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: And with the French, presidential election just 13 months away, even anti-national rally analysts are admitting that everyone already, they're admitting what everyone already knows.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: Marine Le Pen is the front runner for 2027.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: And the momentum is entirely on her side.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: So this makes the appellate court decision coming up in July, all the more crucial, right?
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: You remember she had that sham conviction several months back that weaponized legalism that the globalist elite subjected Marine Le Pen to was an absolutely absurd, ridiculous case.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: So, she's appealing that decision in a July 7th court verdict, will determine whether she's even allowed to run for President right now.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: She's technically banned from running.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see if it's Le Pen or if it's her protege, she'll down a Baudela on the ballot in 2027.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: Either way, the French establishment is running out of ways to stop them.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: But if what happened in France was seismic,
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: what happened in the nation of Germany was an earthquake.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: On the same day, Sunday, the National's populous alternative fedoichlan, the AFD, just pulled off a historic double-header that has the German political establishment waking up in cold sweat.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: The first, it was actually back on March 9, the AFD delivered its strongest
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: in the western Germany state of Badenvertemberg, nearly doubling its previous result.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: to 18.8% of the vote, and that was huge because the AFD is the number one most popular party in Eastern Germany, but they have yet to break out into Western Germany.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: They're still, they remain largely a fringe party in Western Germany, but with that election a couple of weeks back, many analysts were noting that the AFD finally appears to have broken through.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: and are now a serious contender for Western German politics.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: Again, they didn't know, but it seemed like okay, maybe we got something here.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: Well, any doubts about that were blown away as of yesterday.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: This weekend, it was the West German state of Rylan Fault, so Rylan Palatinate.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: and the AFD saw an even greater surge there this time to approximately 20% of vote a gain of over 11 percentage points from their last election potentially strongest ever result in any western German state meanwhile the SPD that's the center left party that's
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: and it dropped nearly 10 points in a single election.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: 35 years of dominance wiped out in a single night and take a look at who's voting for the AFD.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's 18 to 24 year olds.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: The AFD is the single most popular party among Gen Z voters in Germany.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: That spells disaster for woke leftists, given that study show that we tend to get 1% more conservative with every
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: So one on Earth is actually happening here.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: What was this political earthquake over the week and in both France and Germany with that?
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's precisely what we are about to find out, but first of all, quick question.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever wondered how politicians seem to buy stocks?
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: At the perfect time, right before major world events, well it just happened again.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: A member of Congress reportedly bought $50,000 in the defense company shortly after the Iran conflict began.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now here's the wild part, those trades are actually public information, which means every day investors like you and me we can follow them.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: My friend Ross Gibbons is hosting a free training this Thursday, March 26th at 3 p.m. Eastern showing exactly how this works.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: Ross's track insider trades for nearly a decade and some of returned over a thousand percent.

- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Click that link below right now to grab one of the final seats with me at Ross's Free Training, Rhode Alobin.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: Some things happening in Europe.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: There really is a political awakening unlike anything we've seen.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: In Italy, Georgia, Maloney is governing as the country's first nationalist populist prime minister since the Second World War, and she currently enjoys the highest approval rating of any prime minister in Europe.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: In Hungary, Victor Orabon is poised to win his fifth consecutive term.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's already the longest serving prime minister in Hungary's history.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: In the Deloenskater filters, anti-Islamic freedom party recently won a historic parliamentary victory.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: in Austria, their freedom party, once considered so far right that Austria was actually sanctioned for even allowing them in government, well, they want a stunning victory in their September national elections, their poise to do it again, by the way, as did conservative firebrand Count Nareltsky in Poland, from Tokyo to Texas, from Wichita to Warsaw, the pattern has been the same.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: Electorate serizing up, enraged by mass migration, inflation, and a pervasive sense that the governing class has abandoned them for their own political and economic gain, and they're voting that political class out of office, and they are putting true representatives the people in.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: Something was moving beneath the surface of global politics all these years.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: Something that really no existing framework of left versus right could fully name.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: And in the term, it's called civilization opopulism.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: And it represents a single most powerful force in politics today.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: Now most of us know that term, populism, but its definitions bit hard to pin down.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: I've trumped, it's been called a populist.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: but so as Bernie Sanders, so as Mamedani.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: And so this is because populism is more of a structural movement than an ideological one.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: And the key to that structure is how populist movements redefine the political divide.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: So we normally think of politics as a horizontal divide, right?
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: So the left versus right, Democrats versus Republicans,
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: But populists stand that divide on its head, and they realign politics more around a vertical divide, the people versus a political class, the world versus rulers, right?
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: Large of because populist sentiments see very little difference between the two establishment parties.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: However, because populism is primarily a structural realignment, it really doesn't tell us that much about what the people are revolting against.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: And so this is where scholars refer to a distinct kind of populism that we're seeing today as civilizational populism.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: Civilizationism interprets this vertical divide as a battle between the people and liberal globalists elites who've sold out our national economic and cultural sovereignty for their own game.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's incumbent upon the people to rise up and take back and defend their civilizational sovereignty.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the legacy media frames this is merely reactionary, right, irrational temper tantrums by fringe extremists.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: But that assumes all of this is temporary.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: That the liberal progressive system will always somehow end up prevailing in the end.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: But that's not what's happening.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Civilizational populism is effectively reconstituting politics in a manner that radically diverges from older liberal norms that basically told the people to sit down and shut up and allow a professional class of liberal elites to govern and manage the state in accordance with what's best for them, the liberal elites, not the people.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: What civilizational populism represents is a bonified recovery of the Vox Populi, the voice to the people, and it's spreading like wildfire, both here with the magamovment and all over the world.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: As more and more populations are demanding a return to national sovereignty, that is what we saw awakened in Europe over the weekend.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: The populist ride is no longer a protest movement.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's no longer fringe.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's no longer a moment.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: It is a majority in the making, and the established menolids from Paris to Berlin have absolutely no answer for it.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: The people of Europe are waking up, and as we found out this weekend, they are voting.
