A 21-year-old driver, Abraham Sosa-Castro, caused a fatal crash in East El Paso after allegedly driving drunk, flipping his car and fleeing the scene while still clutching his beer and cooler. The 76-year-old victim, Manuel Oliva Contreras, died from injuries. Sosa-Castro, who reportedly refused help and asked strangers for rides to find his friends, was eventually arrested nearly three weeks later with a beer can found in his wrecked car.
