- 0:01Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. Alright, so, it's Sunday, and
- 0:10Speaker 1: normally I used to have the show, the Sunday Pod,
- 0:13Speaker 1: which was covering news and all that, and there is
- 0:17Speaker 1: some news this Sunday. Because when the New York Post
- 0:20Speaker 1: goes after you for aligning with Russia, you know you
- 0:25Speaker 1: done screwed up. when the Post is criticizing President Trump
- 0:31Speaker 1: for aligning with Putin. And did you know, after they
- 0:35Speaker 1: waived the sanctions on Russia, Zelensky reported that Russia targeted
- 0:42Speaker 1: the energy sector with over 320 drones, missiles, and munitions. Overnight,
- 0:48Speaker 1: Ukraine responded with a thousand different drones and all that
- 0:56Speaker 1: across St. Petersburg. as they struck St. Petersburg with over 1,000 drones. Look,
- 1:07Speaker 1: this war is still going on. And the drastic mistakes
- 1:17Speaker 1: that are being made, whether it was from saying Zelensky
- 1:23Speaker 1: should be ousted to now saying... waving sanctions on Russia
- 1:28Speaker 1: because of oil. And then the five-day disaster with Katie
- 1:37Speaker 1: Zachariah with just days to go before the midterms. It's inexcusable.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And I start to believe that President Trump, in the
- 1:57Speaker 1: second term, is operating under his own agenda and not
- 2:01Speaker 1: as much the agenda for the American people in some respects.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Because if he were operating under the agenda for the
- 2:08Speaker 1: American people, he would say, no, we're not waiving sanctions
- 2:15Speaker 1: on Russia. He would, I get diplomacy and all that,
- 2:21Speaker 1: but this is different. This is an optics move that
- 2:25Speaker 1: shows Russia... We're on their side. And we shouldn't be.
- 2:30Speaker 1: And we shouldn't be. Ukraine is the ally here. So
- 2:38Speaker 1: when the New York Post... Puts you on the front page...
- 2:44Speaker 1: As screwing up... You done messed up. And... I don't
- 2:52Speaker 1: care if this diesel... exports, imports, it's the lower gas
- 2:56Speaker 1: prices here. That's because the other war has not ended yet.
- 3:02Speaker 1: That's because the other war, the Iran war has not
- 3:05Speaker 1: ended yet. Because it's like we attacked the Supreme Leader
- 3:09Speaker 1: and killed him, and I agree with that. That was
- 3:12Speaker 1: cutting the head off of the beast, of that regime.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But when you realize there was no plan to it,
- 3:25Speaker 1: That's alarming. So 18 days away, instead of highlighting how
- 3:31Speaker 1: disastrous the left's candidates are and how anti-American and how
- 3:38Speaker 1: anti-Israel and how anti-value system they are, we're stuck now
- 3:48Speaker 1: dealing with wave sanctions on Ukraine, on Russia, on We're
- 3:58Speaker 1: stuck now with this war. And did you see, I
- 4:02Speaker 1: saw this the other day, that Iran is continually bombing
- 4:08Speaker 1: ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Did you hear about this?
- 4:22Speaker 1: Iran blows up, uh, Well, the headline is Hormuz ship
- 4:31Speaker 1: attacks hit high record as Iran escalates strikes with little U.S. response.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Where is the focus of this administration? We are 18
- 4:46Speaker 1: days away from giving up the country to a Democratic
- 4:52Speaker 1: Party that's not even Democratic. They're just four far left.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And pure hatred. But you have to call out where
- 5:08Speaker 1: we're at right now. Because if Trump's going to waive
- 5:14Speaker 1: sanctions and he's going to not respond when Iran continues
- 5:20Speaker 1: to strike ships in the harbors, it questions what's the
- 5:23Speaker 1: agenda here. What is the agenda of President Trump that
- 5:29Speaker 1: he's doing all this? It's a bad look. It's a
- 5:34Speaker 1: bad look. Optically, it's a bad look. Politically, and as
- 5:41Speaker 1: far as being an American president, it's just a bad look.
- 5:49Speaker 1: And I think I'm getting fed up because, you know,
- 5:53Speaker 1: I think we should all support the fact that he
- 5:55Speaker 1: killed the Regime... You know, the Ayatollah. But we can
- 6:03Speaker 1: criticize there was no backup plan. We can criticize that
- 6:06Speaker 1: this war is not over yet. We can criticize that
- 6:08Speaker 1: this feels like 20 years ago when they said mission
- 6:11Speaker 1: accomplished when really we're just dragging on a war. In Iraq.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Which he criticized on the campaign trail against Brother Jed.
- 6:22Speaker 1: By the way. So... As we look forward to Giants
- 6:32Speaker 1: football today, it's a cooler day out. I might be
- 6:35Speaker 1: at Blue Haven East. We'll have to see. And as
- 6:38Speaker 1: we look forward to year 35 and the banner raising
- 6:41Speaker 1: on Tuesday, the 20th of October, I have to say
- 6:47Speaker 1: with just days away from the midterms, this agenda is
- 6:53Speaker 1: not the American agenda Americans voted for back in twenty
- 6:57Speaker 1: twenty four. And I think people are seeing it. I
- 7:03Speaker 1: think the GOP is seeing that he has separated himself
- 7:08Speaker 1: more from everyday Americans than before. I wanted to believe
- 7:17Speaker 1: he was doing the right thing by economically suffocating Russia
- 7:22Speaker 1: and economically suffocating Iran. But this sanctions waving is beyond
- 7:33Speaker 1: the pale. We cannot show weakness. This is what the
- 7:38Speaker 1: whole reason Trump got elected in the second time is
- 7:44Speaker 1: because the Biden administration was weak against these adversaries. This
- 7:50Speaker 1: is about as bad as the small incursion. Let me
- 7:54Speaker 1: make that comparison. Trump waiving sanctions is about as bad
- 7:58Speaker 1: as when Biden told us There's a small incursion. And
- 8:01Speaker 1: they did nothing about it. And now we're in a
- 8:04Speaker 1: war for two plus years, three, four plus years. For
- 8:09Speaker 1: what reason? This could have been avoided. See, Trump came
- 8:16Speaker 1: in because he wasn't going to play nice with the adversary,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I thought. But now all of a sudden he's playing
- 8:22Speaker 1: nice with Iran. He's playing nice with Russia. Unless he
- 8:25Speaker 1: has a long game here, it doesn't look good. And
- 8:30Speaker 1: this agenda, whatever it is, and this disarray is going
- 8:37Speaker 1: to cost the GOP the midterms. It's going to cost
- 8:39Speaker 1: us a common sense Senate and House. And I hate
- 8:46Speaker 1: to say it could cost us America, but if the
- 8:53Speaker 1: fact that there was a shooting here in New York
- 8:56Speaker 1: City on the subway yesterday is any indication... Those are
- 9:02Speaker 1: the kinds of elected officials who will excuse crime could
- 9:08Speaker 1: be voted in. I wish these two wars were done
- 9:10Speaker 1: already because it would highlight how bad the left's candidates
- 9:16Speaker 1: are for America. But no, because these wars are still
- 9:22Speaker 1: going on, the Democrats are alive and being taken over
- 9:30Speaker 1: by the far left Hochul is basically compromised by Mamdani.
- 9:36Speaker 1: And Mamdani's in the crosshairs because he doesn't want to
- 9:40Speaker 1: get rid of Tisch, but his base is calling to
- 9:41Speaker 1: get rid of Tisch. And God forbid we lose Jess
- 9:44Speaker 1: Tisch as commissioner, we're screwed. We are screwed if he
- 9:51Speaker 1: puts in someone more radical. Or radical at all. Because
- 9:56Speaker 1: she is about as fair-minded, about as... strong, about as tough,
- 10:03Speaker 1: about as law-minded, law-driven as can be. And she will
- 10:10Speaker 1: protect us. He cannot let go of her. He cannot
- 10:19Speaker 1: cede to his base and let go of Jessica Tisch.
- 10:22Speaker 1: He better not anyways. But these wars are the distraction
- 10:29Speaker 1: the left needed. Because they can just use it as
- 10:36Speaker 1: fodder and reasons to vote for them and not the GOP.
- 10:43Speaker 1: And I think it's time Somebody get in Trump's ear
- 10:47Speaker 1: and say, what the hell are you doing? What the
- 10:50Speaker 1: F are you doing? Sanctioning Russia, lifting sanctions off Russia.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Are you nuts in an election year? Where you say
- 11:02Speaker 1: you're not on the ballot, but you are because whatever
- 11:05Speaker 1: you do, it reflects the entire party. This will be
- 11:21Speaker 1: the dagger that brings them midterm victory. And I think
- 11:28Speaker 1: that's sad because there was an opportunity for a couple
- 11:36Speaker 1: years before the midterms to show that America was back.
- 11:39Speaker 1: America was prominent again. America wasn't going to let a
- 11:42Speaker 1: small incursion happen. America wasn't going to have a terrible
- 11:45Speaker 1: withdrawal like it did in 2021. America wasn't going to
- 11:50Speaker 1: be disorganized like it seemed to be under the Biden administration.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I would go far to say, and under the Trump administration,
- 11:58Speaker 1: another October 7th would not happen. But the waving of
- 12:04Speaker 1: sanctions sends a message to our enemies that we are
- 12:10Speaker 1: standing with our enemies themselves. It makes us look weak. So, yeah,
- 12:17Speaker 1: beyond the small incursion and doing nothing about it, you
- 12:22Speaker 1: could almost argue this is about as bad as the
- 12:25Speaker 1: withdrawal from Afghanistan. You know why? Because it allowed and
- 12:32Speaker 1: empowered Russia and empowers them to do whatever the F
- 12:36Speaker 1: they want. And it's like we're withdrawing from Ukraine. That's
- 12:40Speaker 1: what it feels like. We've been withdrawing from them little
- 12:43Speaker 1: by little, it seems like, telling Zelensky he should be ousted.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Now this. Apparently we cut off intel to them. And
- 12:53Speaker 1: I get it. There's questions on how Zelensky used the money. Okay,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I understand that. But that is second tier. That's not important.
- 13:08Speaker 1: What's important is that we help Ukraine win the war
- 13:12Speaker 1: with Russia. Because if Russia wins this frickin' thing... You
- 13:17Speaker 1: don't think Taiwan will be taken over by China any
- 13:21Speaker 1: day now? You don't think North Korea is going to
- 13:26Speaker 1: see this and say, oh, we could be activated again?
- 13:28Speaker 1: You don't think Iran is going to see this and say, okay,
- 13:30Speaker 1: we can attack Israel because he may not do anything.
- 13:33Speaker 1: They're already attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz. And
- 13:36Speaker 1: he's doing nothing about it. He's doing nothing about it. So, yes...
- 13:46Speaker 1: the lifting of the sanctions is about as bad as
- 13:49Speaker 1: the withdrawal from Afghanistan five years ago is about as
- 13:53Speaker 1: bad as letting COVID, you know, happen in the way
- 14:00Speaker 1: that he did without the, you know, urging people to
- 14:03Speaker 1: mask up or without urging people to get the shot.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Like there was a whole thing there. And Pfizer didn't
- 14:12Speaker 1: play a part, play a, play their part because they
- 14:17Speaker 1: rolled out the vaccination after Biden was elected, which was
- 14:21Speaker 1: kind of nonsense. I think that was election interference. I'll
- 14:23Speaker 1: always say that. But this moment in Trump's presidencies, one
- 14:31Speaker 1: and two, is a flip, a flub up. He's thought
- 14:36Speaker 1: about selling Yosemite land, Sam, Yosemite, Sam, Yosemite Park land.
- 14:41Speaker 1: He's thought about demolishing or renovating the Kennedy Center, which
- 14:46Speaker 1: is apparently shut down now because they didn't put his
- 14:49Speaker 1: name on it. Now he's saying it's Russia. We've got
- 14:53Speaker 1: these wars going on. And meanwhile, the far left is
- 14:58Speaker 1: getting away with siding with a podcaster who said America
- 15:04Speaker 1: deserved 9-11. They are tied to Hassan Piker and nobody
- 15:10Speaker 1: bats an eye because they aren't paying attention to that.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Al-Said can distance himself from that guy all he wants,
- 15:21Speaker 1: but he's still connected to him. Mamdani can disconnect himself
- 15:24Speaker 1: from Piker, but he was on the damn show during
- 15:27Speaker 1: the election last year. I'm frustrated because whether I, whether
- 15:39Speaker 1: or not, and clearly I want the GOP to keep
- 15:42Speaker 1: that house incentive because I think it would keep us stable,
- 15:44Speaker 1: but whether or not I wanted that or not, I'm
- 15:50Speaker 1: more pissed off that who is running in these midterms
- 15:55Speaker 1: is not being highlighted enough because of dumb moves by Trump.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Dumb moves by Trump. To put in a girl, and look,
- 16:05Speaker 1: she might be a sweet person, great person, but to
- 16:08Speaker 1: put in someone who was poorly background checked as press
- 16:13Speaker 1: secretary and then five days later fire her, disorganization. And
- 16:18Speaker 1: then to go further and say, We're going to sanction,
- 16:21Speaker 1: we're going to remove the sanctions from Russia? After all
- 16:26Speaker 1: we've seen this year? And all the foul that the
- 16:31Speaker 1: Democrats already have? For goodness sakes, the Department of War
- 16:36Speaker 1: Secretary Hegseth was about to have impeachment articles filed against him.
- 16:47Speaker 1: And again, under it all, is a far-left takeover that
- 16:50Speaker 1: we cannot afford in this country. You think PETA terror
- 16:55Speaker 1: attacks are going to happen just in New York? No,
- 16:57Speaker 1: it's going to happen all over the place. But they
- 17:01Speaker 1: don't want you to know that because, oh my God,
- 17:03Speaker 1: Trump waived sanctions. And that's what they're going to fixate
- 17:07Speaker 1: on because it helps the Democrats further their point. So yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 1: I'm pissed off. Yeah, I think Trump's stepping on it
- 17:17Speaker 1: and in it. this midterm cycle. And it's almost like,
- 17:22Speaker 1: what agenda is he on on the whole Greenland deal?
- 17:27Speaker 1: What agenda is he on that's preventing him from seeing
- 17:32Speaker 1: the bigger picture here of how it's going to affect
- 17:36Speaker 1: district by district in the Republican, in the midterms? It's
- 17:42Speaker 1: like he's not seeing that He's only having a tunnel
- 17:45Speaker 1: vision to what he believes is right or his agenda,
- 17:48Speaker 1: or maybe he feels that getting gas and diesel from
- 17:52Speaker 1: Russia is going to help lower the gas prices. It's
- 17:56Speaker 1: a very, very backdoor way to do it. And then
- 18:00Speaker 1: it makes us look weak in the process because you're
- 18:04Speaker 1: not standing with Ukraine, you're standing with Russia. You yourself,
- 18:09Speaker 1: President Trump, not the country, but you yourself. Is that
- 18:13Speaker 1: the message you really want to send 17, 18 days
- 18:17Speaker 1: out of midterms? That the president of the United States
- 18:21Speaker 1: is standing with the enemy? The president of the United
- 18:24Speaker 1: States is sitting back and figuring out what press secretary
- 18:28Speaker 1: to have as Iran keeps bombing tankers in the Strait
- 18:32Speaker 1: of Hormuz, escalating, and we're not doing anything about it?
- 18:39Speaker 1: You were elected to do the job, President Trump, You
- 18:43Speaker 1: were elected to literally be stronger than Biden and Kamala was.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Kamala was. And you are failing. Right now you're failing.
- 19:02Speaker 1: And I hope that maybe, just maybe, You'll hear enough
- 19:12Speaker 1: outcry from the GOP and from independents and from the
- 19:17Speaker 1: polls and say, okay, we'll put the sanctions back on.
- 19:20Speaker 1: We've got to stand with Ukraine. We've got to look
- 19:21Speaker 1: tougher on Iran. We've got to look tougher. That was
- 19:25Speaker 1: the whole point we elected, the country elected you. To
- 19:30Speaker 1: look tougher on our enemies. To disallow another incursion of
- 19:38Speaker 1: another country. To disallow... to make things look organized and
- 19:50Speaker 1: with days to go before the midterms, the Trump presidency
- 19:54Speaker 1: is officially falling apart. And that's my message at One
- 19:59Speaker 1: Leg of Alex Media.
