Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
• 0:05
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was known as somebody who was really into
• 0:09
Speaker 1: the transhumanism movement. Now with transhumanism, what you're doing is,
• 0:16
Speaker 1: in layman's terms, using technology to advance the human species. Basically,
• 0:21
Speaker 1: you know, making humans into cyborgs, adding computer chips to
• 0:26
Speaker 1: the brain, stuff like that. And Jeffrey Epstein was a big,
• 0:30
Speaker 1: big proponent of transhumanism. We know he wanted to see
• 0:35
Speaker 1: the human race with his DNA. And when you look
• 0:39
Speaker 1: at Zorro Ranch and where it's located, it should come
• 0:43
Speaker 1: as no shock to you that at the Santa Fe Institute,
• 0:46
Speaker 1: a mere 47 plus miles away, they study a lot
• 0:50
Speaker 1: of transhumanism. Also down at Los Alamos, A lot of
• 0:54
Speaker 1: transhumanism going on down there as well. And that's not
• 0:57
Speaker 1: too far away from the ranch either. So when we
• 1:01
Speaker 1: talk about Jeffrey Epstein and his activities in New Mexico,
• 1:06
Speaker 1: a lot of it had to do with having close
• 1:10
Speaker 1: access to both of those facilities, but mainly the Santa
• 1:14
Speaker 1: Fe Institute. He had a lot of sway there and
• 1:17
Speaker 1: he had a lot of pull there. So with his
• 1:21
Speaker 1: whole entire gung-ho attitude about transhumanism, it makes sense that
• 1:25
Speaker 1: he had a property nestled so closely to the Santa
• 1:30
Speaker 1: Fe Institute. So you add all of that into what
• 1:34
Speaker 1: we already know about him not having to register as
• 1:36
Speaker 1: a sex offender and all of the rest of it,
• 1:40
Speaker 1: and it begins to build quite the profile. But on
• 1:44
Speaker 1: this episode, we're going to talk a little bit about
• 1:46
Speaker 1: transhumanism and what Jeffrey Epstein was up to. This article
• 1:52
Speaker 1: is from the Business Insider, and it's an article from 2019.
• 1:56
Speaker 1: The author is Ailyn Woodward. Headline, Jeffrey Epstein reportedly wanted
• 2:05
Speaker 1: to see the human race with his DNA as part
• 2:08
Speaker 1: of his fascination with transhumanism. Here's what that means. Now,
• 2:14
Speaker 1: when I think about transhumanism, I think about like steampunk, right?
• 2:20
Speaker 1: Like futuristic movies like Cyborg or, you know, stuff like that.
• 2:25
Speaker 1: And it's wild to me to think that people would
• 2:27
Speaker 1: really be down with getting chips inserted into their brain
• 2:31
Speaker 1: and other things. But you could miss me with all
• 2:34
Speaker 1: of that stuff. I'll pass on any kind of transhumanism
• 2:38
Speaker 1: or modifying the human body. Hey, look, if it's something
• 2:41
Speaker 1: other people want to do, great. But I'm just going
• 2:43
Speaker 1: to rock with what I was born with. I'm not
• 2:46
Speaker 1: going to get no Botox. I'm not going to get
• 2:49
Speaker 1: none of it. Certainly not going to get horns installed
• 2:52
Speaker 1: in my head or a repeating machine gun as an arm.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: Whatever it is these cyborg weirdos are up to. Jeffrey Epstein,
• 3:01
Speaker 1: who was charged earlier this month with trafficking dozens of
• 3:04
Speaker 1: underage girls, reportedly told various scientists in the early 2000s
• 3:10
Speaker 1: that he wanted to seed the human race with his DNA,
• 3:13
Speaker 1: according to the New York Times. Imagine just what we need, right?
• 3:18
Speaker 1: A bunch of maniacs like Jeffrey Epstein running around populating
• 3:22
Speaker 1: the earth. Pass. Nobody needs anything like that in their lives.
• 3:26
Speaker 1: And the fact that he thought this was a viable
• 3:29
Speaker 1: option tells you everything you need to know about how demented, sick,
• 3:32
Speaker 1: and twisted he was. He truly believed that he could
• 3:35
Speaker 1: get away with every one of these crazy-ass plots that
• 3:40
Speaker 1: he would kick into motion. Epstein said he'd do this,
• 3:45
Speaker 1: the Times reports, by impregnating 20 women at a time
• 3:49
Speaker 1: at his ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico. And you
• 3:52
Speaker 1: wonder why this ranch had a 10-person shower, why it
• 3:56
Speaker 1: was tucked away, away from everything else. When I went
• 4:01
Speaker 1: out there, let me tell you about desolation, folks. It
• 4:04
Speaker 1: is a very, very desolate place. There is not much
• 4:08
Speaker 1: around it. And you would have to walk miles and
• 4:10
Speaker 1: miles and miles to get to some service or to
• 4:13
Speaker 1: somebody who could help you. And if it's in the winter,
• 4:16
Speaker 1: forget it. It is freezing cold in the high desert. Summer?
• 4:20
Speaker 1: Hot as shit. Have fun. So unless you're prepared and
• 4:23
Speaker 1: you're geared up and kitted out, it's going to be
• 4:26
Speaker 1: a very difficult task for you to leave that property
• 4:29
Speaker 1: even if you wanted to. Also... Being nestled where it
• 4:33
Speaker 1: was gives him the ultimate privacy, right? To go after
• 4:37
Speaker 1: this sort of thing. If he wanted to have a
• 4:39
Speaker 1: laboratory on property, he could have done that. But with
• 4:43
Speaker 1: the access to the Santa Fe Institute so close, that
• 4:46
Speaker 1: was a big draw for Jeffrey Epstein. Make no mistake.
• 4:51
Speaker 1: There is no evidence to suggest that Epstein took any
• 4:54
Speaker 1: steps toward making this vision a reality. But the idea
• 4:58
Speaker 1: reportedly stemmed from Epstein's interest in the philosophy of transhumanism.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: The belief that people can, and should, artificially enhance the
• 5:07
Speaker 1: human body using modern technology. So what, we all look
• 5:11
Speaker 1: like Darth Vader? We run around like the Borg? We
• 5:14
Speaker 1: can all be locked into the same brain pattern, and
• 5:17
Speaker 1: somebody like Epstein and his scientist friends can control our lives.
• 5:20
Speaker 1: I am opting out. Let me be clear, okay? I'm
• 5:23
Speaker 1: opting out of anything that Jeffrey Epstein or his scientific
• 5:27
Speaker 1: buddies were into. Count your boy out. Transhumanists herald genetic
• 5:33
Speaker 1: engineering and artificial intelligence as promising ways to improve human performance.
• 5:40
Speaker 1: They advocate, essentially, for the use of technology, including nanomedicine, robotics,
• 5:46
Speaker 1: brain-computer integration, and more, that alters typical human physiology in
• 5:52
Speaker 1: order to better our body and brain. Now, nanomedicine might
• 5:58
Speaker 1: be something that could be interesting. When they have those
• 6:01
Speaker 1: little nanobot robots that they create that can go in
• 6:04
Speaker 1: there and fix cancer cells and shit like that, That's
• 6:07
Speaker 1: a little different. When I talk about transhumanism, I mean
• 6:10
Speaker 1: ending up like a cyborg, running around like Darth Vader
• 6:13
Speaker 1: or the Borg or some shit. I'm cool on all
• 6:15
Speaker 1: of that. But if there's some kind of medical advancement
• 6:18
Speaker 1: with nanotechnology, that's certainly something I'd be interested in them
• 6:22
Speaker 1: advancing because it's something that could really help out. Now, also,
• 6:27
Speaker 1: you have the flip side of that, which is the
• 6:29
Speaker 1: Grey Goo theory, but we'll save that for a different day.
• 6:34
Speaker 1: Epstein was fascinated with transhumanism. According to the Times, Jaron Lanier,
• 6:40
Speaker 1: a pioneer of virtual reality, remembers talking to a NASA
• 6:43
Speaker 1: scientist who said Epstein's New Mexico baby ranch idea was
• 6:47
Speaker 1: inspired by a repository for Germinal Choice, a sperm bank
• 6:52
Speaker 1: in Escondido, California. The sperm bank operated from 1979 to
• 6:58
Speaker 1: 1999 and was incorrectly rumored to contain only the sperm
• 7:02
Speaker 1: of Nobel laureates. I mean, sheesh. Everything's a hustle, it
• 7:08
Speaker 1: seems like, right? You have to be on your guard 24-7.
• 7:11
Speaker 1: Everybody's trying to hustle you. Oh yeah, this sperm bank's
• 7:15
Speaker 1: filled with nothing but Nobel laureates. Meanwhile, it's filled with
• 7:19
Speaker 1: nothing but derelicts and convicts, probably. Then they'll charge $ 10, 000
• 7:23
Speaker 1: per sperm cell or something. You know, everybody has a hustle, right?
• 7:27
Speaker 1: Everybody has a hustle. Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz also
• 7:35
Speaker 1: told the Times that Epstein once brought up the topic
• 7:38
Speaker 1: of how humans could be improved genetically at a lunch
• 7:42
Speaker 1: that Epstein sponsored. You know how humans could be improved?
• 7:46
Speaker 1: By not having people like Jeffrey Epstein walk amongst us.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: That's right. Nope, nobody like Epstein. Certainly a better world, right?
• 7:53
Speaker 1: Less people like him in it? For sure. But if
• 7:57
Speaker 1: you want to get some horns implanted in your head
• 7:59
Speaker 1: or you want to get a Google Chromebook entrenched in
• 8:03
Speaker 1: your chest like you're Tony Stark, hey, have at it.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: But me personally, I have zero desire for any of
• 8:08
Speaker 1: that stuff. Epstein's dual interest in furthering his own DNA
• 8:14
Speaker 1: and improving the human gene pool plays into the biggest
• 8:17
Speaker 1: criticism of the transhumanist ideology. That it's on par with eugenics.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: And it certainly is. And we all know how eugenics
• 8:25
Speaker 1: works out, right? You know, the Nazis love their eugenics.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: And when you go with pure eugenic projects and you
• 8:33
Speaker 1: have people that are gung-ho about it, what you have
• 8:36
Speaker 1: are people who might be born slow or mentally challenged
• 8:41
Speaker 1: or with a birth defect. They'll be called. They're not
• 8:44
Speaker 1: part of the society that these transhumanists and these others
• 8:52
Speaker 1: are trying to build. So those people are considered less than.
• 8:58
Speaker 1: You know, when we talk about the Germans and them
• 9:01
Speaker 1: going on their horrific spree of murder and Holocaust, some
• 9:06
Speaker 1: of the first victims of the Germans were their very
• 9:09
Speaker 1: own citizens who were considered less than, crippled, mentally slow. homosexuals, gypsies,
• 9:17
Speaker 1: things of that nature. And that's one of the biggest
• 9:20
Speaker 1: pitfalls when you start getting into eugenics and you start
• 9:23
Speaker 1: getting into transhumanism. Eugenics is the science of deliberately breeding
• 9:28
Speaker 1: human beings to increase the likelihood of certain characteristics. It's
• 9:32
Speaker 1: associated with Nazi ideology, the party favored blonde, blue-eyed Aryan people,
• 9:38
Speaker 1: and used the idea of eugenics to justify genocide. And it's...
• 9:44
Speaker 1: Always the case. Eugenics and transhumanism will probably be the
• 9:48
Speaker 1: next thing that'll turn into that. But this stuff always
• 9:51
Speaker 1: leads to very, very dangerous dark roads. Transhumanism's political legacy.
• 10:00
Speaker 1: Many transhumanists, however, are interested in other ways to improve
• 10:03
Speaker 1: human performance that don't have to do with altering the
• 10:07
Speaker 1: gene pool. Prior to the 2016 election, for example, presidential
• 10:13
Speaker 1: candidate Zoltan Istvan promised to work towards halting aging and
• 10:17
Speaker 1: death by merging technology with human biology. Istvan founded the
• 10:22
Speaker 1: Transhumanist Party, a political party focused on using science and
• 10:26
Speaker 1: tech to solve major problems facing humanity. I think we'll
• 10:30
Speaker 1: have to find an even balance here, right? If there's
• 10:34
Speaker 1: a way to use some of these methods as far
• 10:37
Speaker 1: as furthering medicine, then I think it's a good idea, right?
• 10:42
Speaker 1: If you can find a way to help somebody who
• 10:45
Speaker 1: has kidney failure, I'm all for it. But when we
• 10:48
Speaker 1: start talking about eugenics and some of this other wild
• 10:52
Speaker 1: shit Epstein was into, I'm definitely 100% against all of that.
• 10:58
Speaker 1: Istvan sees aging and death as the biggest plagues of
• 11:01
Speaker 1: our time and thinks technology offers a cure. He supports,
• 11:05
Speaker 1: for example, the use of bionic organs as transplants when
• 11:09
  Speaker 1: natural organs fail. I think that's a good idea. I
• 11:12
Speaker 1: don't see the problem with that. If we can build something,
• 11:15
Speaker 1: some sort of tech that can act in place of
• 11:18
Speaker 1: an organ failure, then we should do that. I think
• 11:27
Speaker 1: people have just been conditioned to believe this is just
• 11:29
Speaker 1: a natural part of existence. That's the program, Istvan previously
• 11:34
Speaker 1: told Business Insider. Well, yeah, that's what happens, right? People
• 11:38
Speaker 1: get old, they die, their organs fail. Sometimes you're young
• 11:41
Speaker 1: and you get the shit end of the stick and
• 11:43
Speaker 1: it happens. And so our job is to uncondition that,
• 11:49
Speaker 1: to tell them, actually, it was the program until we
• 11:52
Speaker 1: reached the 21st century. And now all of a sudden
• 11:56
Speaker 1: we realize with genetics and bionics and robotics that we
• 11:59
Speaker 1: have a real chance of stopping death and treating it
• 12:02
Speaker 1: as something much more similar to a disease than some
• 12:06
Speaker 1: natural phenomenon. I think that is a bit, um... overzealous
• 12:11
Speaker 1: and overselling it, but in certain instances, like with organs
• 12:15
Speaker 1: and nanotechnology, as far as deploying nanotechnology inside of the
• 12:20
Speaker 1: body to fight cancer cells and whatnot, I definitely think
• 12:23
Speaker 1: that there's something there that is worth exploring. Cryonics, the
• 12:28
Speaker 1: controversial process of freezing a body with the goal of
• 12:31
Speaker 1: bringing it back to life later, also has a place
• 12:34
Speaker 1: in transhumanist thinking. Currently, it only works for human embryos. But,
• 12:39
Speaker 1: according to the Times, one unnamed transhumanist said he and
• 12:43
Speaker 1: Epstein once chatted about cryonics. And Epstein said he wanted
• 12:47
Speaker 1: his head and penis frozen. Because, you know, those were
• 12:51
Speaker 1: the two joys that he gave to the world. His
• 12:53
Speaker 1: head and his penis. Here's an idea. Nothing frozen. You
• 12:57
Speaker 1: thrown into a volcano and forgotten about. You sick, twisted
• 13:01
Speaker 1: son of a bitch. Well, there you have it, folks.
• 13:04
Speaker 1: A little bit more on Epstein and transhumanism. Now, as
• 13:10
Speaker 1: we move forward in the future and the technology gets better,
• 13:15
Speaker 1: I wouldn't be shocked to see legit cyborgs running around.
• 13:19
Speaker 1: It's certainly the way things are moving. And again, who
• 13:24
Speaker 1: knows if we'll be alive to see that sort of change.
• 13:27
Speaker 1: But it is certainly something of the future. And there
• 13:30
Speaker 1: are a lot of very powerful cyborgs. and smart scientists
• 13:35
Speaker 1: working on transhumanism as we speak. And one of the
• 13:38
Speaker 1: main places they do that? The Santa Fe Institute. If
• 13:44
