- 0:00Speaker 1: There is no bells and whistles today because I have
- 0:05Speaker 1: a more serious feeling. You're on the one like a
- 0:09Speaker 1: Blex network, and you know, normally I'm very upbeat and
- 0:13Speaker 1: spirited and all that, but I have more of a
- 0:16Speaker 1: thoughtful prayer today for the victims of October seventh, their families,
- 0:23Speaker 1: and also for the soulas that the soulas who are
- 0:26Speaker 1: indifferent to what October seventh means, or don't care, or
- 0:30Speaker 1: even as some people say, celebrate what happened October seventh,
- 0:35Speaker 1: they are soulless people. The people you'll see today marching
- 0:40Speaker 1: up sixth Avenue saying free Gaza on a day when
- 0:44Speaker 1: Hamas initiated terror attack in Israel are soulless. They are
- 0:53Speaker 1: just lost, soulless human beings. Well, Alex, how can you
- 0:58Speaker 1: say that they're protesting when happened in in Pallas. I
- 1:01Speaker 1: understand that too, We understand that too. But today's a
- 1:07Speaker 1: day where people find their soul and understand that October
- 1:12Speaker 1: seventh happened and that terror attach happened. Because if we
- 1:19Speaker 1: don't get our heads around that or don't acknowledge it,
- 1:23Speaker 1: more bloodshed will happen against Israelis, which I guess in
- 1:31Speaker 1: terms would mean the other way too. But this is
- 1:38Speaker 1: not a day to say anti Semitic things when the
- 1:43Speaker 1: Jewish community is hurting. It's a day to find our
- 1:49Speaker 1: souls collectively. And I see Colombia is trying to write
- 1:55Speaker 1: so Columbia last year ten city home to a lot
- 1:59Speaker 1: of the free power, but then now to save face,
- 2:06Speaker 1: and I'd be like, that's nothing more than that they
- 2:09Speaker 1: are honoring the victims of October seventh on their quad today.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Is that finding their soul or a photo opportunity. I
- 2:22Speaker 1: am so skeptical when it comes to this issue. I
- 2:25Speaker 1: don't believe in finding some solace there because of what
- 2:32Speaker 1: happened and what Columbia let itself become just feels like
- 2:37Speaker 1: a photo op, nothing genuine about it. So I want
- 2:43Speaker 1: to pray that the forty eight hostages that have now
- 2:46Speaker 1: been used as political football instead of human beings be
- 2:53Speaker 1: released once and for all. I pray that their fail
- 3:00Speaker 1: families get answers, get their fair, their loved ones back.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I pray that there's wounds that centuries long between Israel
- 3:12Speaker 1: and Palestine get healed at some point, and that those
- 3:22Speaker 1: who choose to partake in today's protests, yelling anti Semitic
- 3:29Speaker 1: tropes find their soul. I've often said, and it was
- 3:38Speaker 1: in Biber doctor Joe Grossi. I've often said that there
- 3:45Speaker 1: needs to be a Paul amidst this Free Palistine movement
- 3:48Speaker 1: that says no, that that is like Saul, but then
- 3:53Speaker 1: becomes Paul in the movement and says no, this is
- 3:56Speaker 1: not right. It has to end. All these slurs, all
- 3:58Speaker 1: these targeting of Jewish people have to end. But I
- 4:07Speaker 1: think it's a little cathartic for me to do this
- 4:13Speaker 1: podcast and vent about how, yeah I am angry. I
- 4:20Speaker 1: think if you have a soul, you're angry today that
- 4:24Speaker 1: this happened two years ago. I walked into the radio
- 4:26Speaker 1: station two years ago and saw the terror attack happen,
- 4:30Speaker 1: and of course one of my first thoughts was how's
- 4:32Speaker 1: my cousin doing in Israel? Then how ISRAELI is doing?
- 4:51Speaker 1: And now two years later, the feeling is so profound.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I I think seeing unfortunately that free Gaza protest fired
- 5:04Speaker 1: me up to say this is wrong, This is soulless.
- 5:10Speaker 1: And there are people who may think they have a
- 5:16Speaker 1: soul for saying free Palestine, but really what they're advocating
- 5:20Speaker 1: for is a targeting of Jewish people, and I'm not
- 5:22Speaker 1: afraid to say that here and publish this here. You
- 5:30Speaker 1: can easily sympathize with the Israelis and the Palestines for
- 5:35Speaker 1: what both sides have gone through in this war. But
- 5:40Speaker 1: when you shoot two embassy staffers and yell free Palestine,
- 5:49Speaker 1: Israeli embassy staffers and the Jewish ambassadors to embassy staffers
- 5:53Speaker 1: by the way, and yell free Palestine, it's no longer
- 5:56Speaker 1: just free Palatine. It's a way to sort of avenge
- 6:01Speaker 1: by killing other Jewish people and targeting innocent Jews. We
- 6:05Speaker 1: have had nothing to do with the State of Israel's
- 6:10Speaker 1: uh actions. When this whole thing really heated up and
- 6:17Speaker 1: the rhetoric and the protests heated up, there were stories
- 6:24Speaker 1: of how these really anarchists would scream in the face
- 6:30Speaker 1: of an innocent Jewish person just standing there. And my
- 6:39Speaker 1: conviction today is we must pray October seventh, twenty twenty
- 6:43Speaker 1: five for the victims their families, and then also pray
- 6:49Speaker 1: for the soulless who think today doesn't matter or glad
- 6:55Speaker 1: it happened. They must be prayed for that they see
- 7:00Speaker 1: the light that they go from Saul to Paul before
- 7:03Speaker 1: it's too late for them, and that they help heal
- 7:10Speaker 1: the wound, not exacerbate the wold. And for those forty
- 7:16Speaker 1: eight hostage still not released, let's stop playing political football
- 7:25Speaker 1: and get them back into the world for the good
- 7:31Speaker 1: of humanity, for the good of this war, and really
- 7:43Speaker 1: for the good of Jews around the world that are
- 7:50Speaker 1: so nervous and upset and angered by this. And may
- 7:55Speaker 1: our voices be louder and demanding the release. I think
- 8:02Speaker 1: the whole irony to me is that the injustice on
- 8:07Speaker 1: October something was committed against the Jews. It They've been
- 8:10Speaker 1: the peaceful ones trying to quietly advocate, and I mean
- 8:20Speaker 1: there have been rallies, there have been different things, but
- 8:23Speaker 1: it's been peaceful, whereas the other side is forceful. Maybe
- 8:31Speaker 1: we match, not n not in a violent way, but
- 8:34Speaker 1: match that forcefulness and demanding the release of these hostages
- 8:39Speaker 1: once and for all, beyond press conferences and rallies, but
- 8:52Speaker 1: just be vocal and demand the release today the two
- 8:57Speaker 1: year anniversary. That's how we have one leg up on
- 9:01Speaker 1: this war, on this wound, on this horrible day, and
- 9:08Speaker 1: no matter what Israel has done in the aftermath, May
- 9:12Speaker 1: we finally acknowledge as a society that October seventh terror
- 9:16Speaker 1: attacks happened against Israel, Because if we acknowledge that, we
- 9:22Speaker 1: may never forget it, and once we never forget, we
- 9:26Speaker 1: take steps for it doesn't happen again. And that's how
- 9:30Speaker 1: we have one leg up.
