- 0:33Speaker 4: Yes, that's awesome.
- 0:40Speaker 5: And now Treg Collins and Wayne del chaff.
- 0:44Speaker 6: All right, we're back together again. Actually that's not true.
- 0:48Speaker 2: We stayed.
- 0:48Speaker 6: We just met like an hour ago, but I have stayed. Awesome,
- 0:52Speaker 6: Craig Collins and Wayne Delchafo. Yours truly starting a brand
- 0:56Speaker 6: new show, and I think it's time to get serious, okay,
- 1:02Speaker 6: and talk about the things that I demand we do
- 1:04Speaker 6: on the show because I am so upset about whining.
- 1:09Speaker 6: I want maybe whining Wednesdays. You should get some clips
- 1:13Speaker 6: the biggest whining people of the week.
- 1:15Speaker 7: Or the craziest stuff or I think I think the
- 1:19Speaker 7: whiners are crazy, which is every day.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I do have a clip.
- 1:22Speaker 7: From the DSA, some of the young people that are
- 1:25Speaker 7: trying to run it, talking about how the constitution is
- 1:27Speaker 7: the biggest problem in our country.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Is this, Well, I think it is.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Okay, you do you agree with them on this?
- 1:32Speaker 6: I'm actually very sympathetic to crazy people, Okay, And so
- 1:39Speaker 6: I sort of sympathize with the DSA people because they
- 1:43Speaker 6: are all effing crazy.
- 1:45Speaker 2: But you feel bad for them. You don't want it.
- 1:47Speaker 2: You don't want them to govern.
- 1:49Speaker 6: No, not in a million years, all right, because it
- 1:52Speaker 6: works out so well, right, I think I think the
- 1:55Speaker 6: solution is.
- 1:58Speaker 4: I think the solution is for the government to run
- 2:00Speaker 4: everything that's their.
- 2:04Speaker 6: I know, I think it's a great idea, right because government. Look,
- 2:08Speaker 6: think about it logically for just a moment. Government is
- 2:12Speaker 6: great at running right there, They're so good at it.
- 2:17Speaker 4: I'm gonna see if I'm gonna say this with a
- 2:18Speaker 4: straight face.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm trying.
- 2:20Speaker 6: Actually on TV, I'm not TV video video on streaming
- 2:24Speaker 6: right where where are we streaming?
- 2:25Speaker 2: We are straight?
- 2:26Speaker 7: Well, okay, we are streaming on Facebook and rumble and
- 2:29Speaker 7: YouTube and also.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Acts say bumble rumble because we're not.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Now, we're not on bubble.
- 2:34Speaker 4: I'm married.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm also married. I got the ring on and everything.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I don't have my ring anymore the go, but but.
- 2:40Speaker 7: Married to a Latina. So if I go outside without
- 2:42Speaker 7: the ring, I get in trouble.
- 2:43Speaker 6: I'm actually from Brooklyn, as you know, and I'm married
- 2:47Speaker 6: from Congra, which is why we like each other. You know,
- 2:51Speaker 6: there's funny thing about people that came from the Northeast.
- 2:54Speaker 6: You could you can feel it when you meet them.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I think, what is that?
- 2:58Speaker 7: I think they're more direct everything I've found from people
- 3:01Speaker 7: from the Northeast. And I'm again, I'm just outside of
- 3:03Speaker 7: New York City and Jersey. I think there's less tolerating
- 3:07Speaker 7: the bs and more just like saying what you think.
- 3:09Speaker 6: I think that's right. And you know, my dad and
- 3:12Speaker 6: I when we you know, I grew up in flappersh right,
- 3:16Speaker 6: I was. There was like an East sixty sixth Street
- 3:19Speaker 6: separated the Puerto Ricans from the Italians and the Jews,
- 3:22Speaker 6: because the Italians and the Jews lived in the same neighborhood, right,
- 3:25Speaker 6: Puerto Ricans lived on the other side, and they built
- 3:28Speaker 6: a school in the Puerto Rican side, right, And so
- 3:31Speaker 6: we literally had to cross into Puerto Rico to go
- 3:35Speaker 6: to school, right, and we would fight all the time.
- 3:38Speaker 6: My first scar on my nose, I'm from a fight
- 3:43Speaker 6: with garbage can covers, Okay, Right, I was like in
- 3:46Speaker 6: sixth grade. It happens and we were whacking each other
- 3:49Speaker 6: with garbage cant covers.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Right. I broke my nose when I was young.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I also got in fights growing up.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Yeah, so we come from that.
- 3:57Speaker 6: So we moved to Houston, right, and I'm saying dog
- 3:59Speaker 6: and talking talking like a yeah, and my father and
- 4:05Speaker 6: I would walk in the middle of the street because
- 4:07Speaker 6: you didn't want people to jump out of the trees
- 4:10Speaker 6: at you, because that happened in little Puerto Rico, which
- 4:14Speaker 6: was right next to you know where I live. And
- 4:17Speaker 6: we would literally and people would come up and say
- 4:19Speaker 6: hi to us when we first moved here, like what
- 4:21Speaker 6: do you want?
- 4:23Speaker 4: Right? Didn't we think that?
- 4:25Speaker 2: I feel somebody walks up to me and they're asking
- 4:28Speaker 2: me a question. I'm like, what is it? What is
- 4:30Speaker 2: going on?
- 4:30Speaker 4: Like what do you?
- 4:30Speaker 7: And I want to go into that New York accent
- 4:32Speaker 7: too sometimes. Actually I did a mobster a bit on
- 4:36Speaker 7: a different radio show I was on where they'd bring
- 4:38Speaker 7: me in for the mobster thought of the day.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Well, that's why I suggest.
- 4:42Speaker 6: And I don't know if the powers would be I
- 4:43Speaker 6: don't even know who they are, but if the powers
- 4:46Speaker 6: at Bee don't like this, but I really think we
- 4:49Speaker 6: should start leaning in to monsters, to our ethnic family roots.
- 4:56Speaker 6: My father was good friends with Gambino's brother. Okay, and
- 4:59Speaker 6: I think I want people to think, I mean you're
- 5:02Speaker 6: doing You were in my office. You were in my office, right?
- 5:05Speaker 6: What did you see on the wall? I was a
- 5:07Speaker 6: big tapestry.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I saw a big giant piece of art yep on
- 5:10Speaker 2: the wall.
- 5:10Speaker 4: And what was it?
- 5:11Speaker 8: What?
- 5:11Speaker 4: You don't even remember?
- 5:12Speaker 6: You come to my office. I come to a legend's office.
- 5:16Speaker 6: You're the first time I'm.
- 5:17Speaker 2: In New Yorker.
- 5:18Speaker 7: Man, I didn't I didn't care. I was there to
- 5:20Speaker 7: do a thing. I set up a camera, I set
- 5:21Speaker 7: up some microphones.
- 5:22Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 5:22Speaker 4: It was a tapestry of Don Corleon.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that I do remember from.
- 5:26Speaker 6: The consoliary whispering in his years. And I am, in
- 5:29Speaker 6: many ways think of myself as a consuliari.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Okay, the more powerful person.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Actually, yes, But I because I think I have learned
- 5:40Speaker 4: the rackets.
- 5:41Speaker 6: I understand the racket and government. I understand the contractors
- 5:47Speaker 6: and the nonsense. I'm going to Austin on Wednesday morning too,
- 5:53Speaker 6: because I've been asked to testify about Public Information Act,
- 5:57Speaker 6: about changes to the law.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Wow.
- 5:59Speaker 6: Right, so, and I didn't know what I was doing.
- 6:02Speaker 6: I didn't care. I have to go because the government tried.
- 6:06Speaker 6: I tried to ask for twelve phone bills from a
- 6:09Speaker 6: city councilman in Corpus Christi, and they cleaned it was
- 6:15Speaker 6: going to take five hundred hours man hours to get
- 6:22Speaker 6: me twelve phone bills and some text messages from one
- 6:26Speaker 6: public official phone bills. Right, you can go online and
- 6:28Speaker 6: pump it out in about five minutes. It was going
- 6:30Speaker 6: to be five hundred hours. It was thirteen thousand dollars.
- 6:35Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 6:36Speaker 6: And they do that to hide stuff. And we have
- 6:42Speaker 6: all this AI stuff down on all this whatever. I'm
- 6:44Speaker 6: not a technology guy, but whatever, I mean. I couldn't
- 6:47Speaker 6: even plug in. Back when I was in radio, I
- 6:50Speaker 6: had an engineer who ended up working for Stevie Wonder
- 6:54Speaker 6: later in life, right say, one of his main engineers,
- 6:56Speaker 6: But at the time he was just like a crazy partying.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Guy and probably he probably still parted with when.
- 7:02Speaker 6: I was at KGr H. I was doing the first
- 7:04Speaker 6: Shuttle flight. And back then we were in the space center.
- 7:08Speaker 6: There wasn't like some big you know, amusement park or
- 7:10Speaker 6: whatever it is, right, but the lunar module was in there.
- 7:13Speaker 6: I will admit something now, one last admission. Yes please,
- 7:17Speaker 6: I drank a beer in the module.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I have to.
- 7:22Speaker 2: I have to. I love your story so much. And
- 7:24Speaker 2: here's the reason.
- 7:25Speaker 7: Why did you know Gary Elliott who worked here for
- 7:27Speaker 7: a while and passed away. Sadly I did not, So
- 7:29Speaker 7: he was the production director over there. And Gary Elliott
- 7:32Speaker 7: told me one of his favorite stories of his life
- 7:35Speaker 7: is when he did security in that part of Houston
- 7:38Speaker 7: where he was actually around those lunar modules. And he's
- 7:41Speaker 7: a pot guy, so one of his favorite things that
- 7:43Speaker 7: he did is occasionally smoke a joint inside the lunar module.
- 7:47Speaker 6: I thought I smelled something, I thought, I said, who
- 7:51Speaker 6: was here before?
- 7:52Speaker 7: The funniest thing the reason I'm still working here because
- 7:54Speaker 7: I got a job offer to go somewhere else like
- 7:56Speaker 7: four months into working here, and Gary Elliott I did.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Gary Elliott encouraged me to stay and so, and he
- 8:02Speaker 7: told me that he thought that maybe something good would
- 8:05Speaker 7: come down the road for me, and this is good.
- 8:07Speaker 4: This is the moment for you, This is just being
- 8:09Speaker 4: associated with me.
- 8:10Speaker 9: I know.
- 8:10Speaker 2: It's incredible because if you.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Get like arrested tomorrow, you know I'm in the article.
- 8:14Speaker 7: Okay, right, but you're probably gonna help discover what I
- 8:17Speaker 7: did wrong.
- 8:18Speaker 6: Right, Yeah, I'll say throw him to the wolves man Burner.
- 8:23Speaker 7: I just love that I got to share Gary Elliott
- 8:25Speaker 7: story with you on the air because he was so
- 8:26Speaker 7: proud of that that he had smoked.
- 8:28Speaker 2: In the lunar module.
- 8:29Speaker 4: And I still remember.
- 8:31Speaker 6: So anyway back to my engineer guys, so he was
- 8:35Speaker 6: literally under the desk. We were such crazy people back then.
- 8:38Speaker 6: He was literally under the desk. There were a thousand
- 8:41Speaker 6: wires all tangled in all kinds of ways. We're like
- 8:45Speaker 6: seconds before we're going to live for the first Shuttle launch,
- 8:48Speaker 6: and he still says.
- 8:49Speaker 4: I'll get it. I'll get it.
- 8:50Speaker 6: He's under the desk, right, and literally it was such
- 8:54Speaker 6: a mess of wires.
- 8:56Speaker 4: It was. I used to tell him it was job
- 8:58Speaker 4: security cause because if.
- 8:59Speaker 2: He he died, yeah, nobody knows how to We were screwed.
- 9:02Speaker 4: We would never be able to undo it.
- 9:04Speaker 7: I know, a bunch of engineers who do things purposefully
- 9:07Speaker 7: complicated in a purposefully complicated way, like there's an easier
- 9:11Speaker 7: way to do it, but they don't want to do
- 9:12Speaker 7: it that way because they don't want you to figure
- 9:13Speaker 7: it out.
- 9:13Speaker 6: And one last thing before you play, Look, this is
- 9:16Speaker 6: gonna be a very challenging thing for you because I'm
- 9:18Speaker 6: going to demand Okay, the.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Best of the best. All right, clips, Okay, so I
- 9:23Speaker 4: know this pressure.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Every night, you're gonna be like in bed at like
- 9:27Speaker 6: eleven o'clock a night going.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Wayne expects, Well, can we be honest that you're not
- 9:31Speaker 7: really planning on being here every day?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Is that a thing we can do?
- 9:34Speaker 4: Can we be honest? It's absolutely true? Yeah, are you killing?
- 9:38Speaker 2: I'm only gonna sweat a couple times a week, you know.
- 9:40Speaker 4: What I'm making for this?
- 9:41Speaker 6: What?
- 9:41Speaker 4: Right, there's nothing.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 9:43Speaker 4: I'm here because there's not a chance to work with you. Okay,
- 9:48Speaker 4: I don't think that's true. All right, it's true.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I'm thrilled to be here with you.
- 9:51Speaker 10: Man.
- 9:51Speaker 2: All right, babe, all right, let's do this. We got
- 9:53Speaker 2: a lot to get to, a lot going on. You
- 9:54Speaker 2: want to take us out?

- 11:56Speaker 4: It's a Monday morning.
- 11:57Speaker 6: You're on KCD and seven hundred Wayne Dot Tiffino Creg
- 12:03Speaker 6: Collins with you this morning, and we've mostly just been blabbing.
- 12:09Speaker 2: On and off here we have.
- 12:10Speaker 4: We're like just two guys at a bar, a medical
- 12:13Speaker 4: without any alcohol.
- 12:14Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 7: And I just told you, which is very millennial of me.
- 12:17Speaker 7: My mother consumes everything I do in radio. My mom's
- 12:20Speaker 7: in Jersey, so she says, Hi from Jersey.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Hi Mom, Wayne do Taffino here from Flatbush? Love you
- 12:27Speaker 4: love you. But but look we're Texans through and through.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Yes, But we were talking during the break continuing this
- 12:34Speaker 6: sort of theme is to as to why I'm I'm
- 12:37Speaker 6: doing this?
- 12:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 12:39Speaker 2: Why? Yeah, you don't need to do this.
- 12:41Speaker 6: I don't, but I tell you, every time I filled
- 12:44Speaker 6: in for Chris, I enjoyed doing it. It was it
- 12:47Speaker 6: was tough, right, but I enjoyed doing it because I
- 12:51Speaker 6: am so frustrated and we have screwed. You know, we
- 12:56Speaker 6: celebrated at two hundred and fiftieth birthday. I go to
- 12:58Speaker 6: Europe all the time. Right, stuff's like a thous years old,
- 13:00Speaker 6: two thousand years old. Right, we're two hundred and fifty
- 13:03Speaker 6: and we have made a mess of this, we have. Yeah,
- 13:07Speaker 6: But I also think it's not just messaging. I think
- 13:12Speaker 6: I think people have come to expect that the government
- 13:17Speaker 6: owes them something.
- 13:19Speaker 4: I think that's a interesting other than just protecting.
- 13:21Speaker 7: That well, and I think they've done a good job
- 13:23Speaker 7: of also convincing you that the person trying to take
- 13:26Speaker 7: that thing away that the government owes you is the
- 13:28Speaker 7: person voting on the other side. Now, this person who
- 13:31Speaker 7: wants a free thing also hates the people who vote
- 13:34Speaker 7: on the opposite party.
- 13:35Speaker 6: Sure, but look, some things are just cruel, Right, they're cruel,
- 13:39Speaker 6: but they're necessary. Like so, when I see the images
- 13:42Speaker 6: of a little five year old boy who's arrested along
- 13:45Speaker 6: with his dad by ice, is that a bad picture?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Of course?
- 13:50Speaker 4: Sure?
- 13:50Speaker 6: Right, it's messy, right, but you're not supposed to be here, right,
- 13:57Speaker 6: I'm maybe we should just go to a wong at
- 14:00Speaker 6: night and just you know, get look, let's go through
- 14:03Speaker 6: it's I understand that it's not a good look.
- 14:07Speaker 4: But what are we supposed to do.
- 14:09Speaker 6: Are we supposed to just say it's fine whether they're
- 14:14Speaker 6: criminals or not.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Some men be hard work of folks.
- 14:16Speaker 6: I've never understood in the immigration debate why it's got
- 14:19Speaker 6: to be like black or white. Why we can't make
- 14:23Speaker 6: something that's not citizenship? Sure, citizenship is earned people. I
- 14:28Speaker 6: used to drink in a bar, and are you shocked
- 14:30Speaker 6: by that? I used to drink in a bar. It's
- 14:34Speaker 6: hard to try to visualize it, but I used to
- 14:37Speaker 6: drink in a bar and and my wife used to
- 14:41Speaker 6: get peach margeritas, and the waitress used to call them
- 14:44Speaker 6: like almost like bitch margheritas.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Right.
- 14:47Speaker 6: That's she was from Nicaraguay, Salvador somewhere. She was here
- 14:52Speaker 6: and her daughter, she was spending like seven years to
- 14:54Speaker 6: get her daughters to be able to come into the
- 14:57Speaker 6: United States. Right, they want to be here, right? And
- 15:01Speaker 6: I think of those people, and it outrages me that
- 15:05Speaker 6: people think it's okay. Like if you were in a
- 15:08Speaker 6: concert and somebody just decides they want to walk in
- 15:13Speaker 6: front of you and get in line.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Doesn't that piss you off?
- 15:16Speaker 2: Yesterday?
- 15:18Speaker 7: Yesterday we're in Galveston and this family came out of
- 15:21Speaker 7: a Starbucks and they stood across the entire like staircase
- 15:24Speaker 7: to get up there, so we couldn't get through. My
- 15:26Speaker 7: wife and I were standing, We're looking at this whole family.
- 15:29Speaker 7: Nobody was given an opening to people that are trying
- 15:31Speaker 7: to enter the Starbucks. It pissed us both off a lot.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I was very mad for a while.
- 15:35Speaker 4: And as I think we that's why I think we're
- 15:38Speaker 4: we're not only missing.
- 15:39Speaker 2: The message, yeah, but it matters.
- 15:42Speaker 6: But can I tell you I do sympathize with my son,
- 15:47Speaker 6: who I talk about a lot.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Anthony love him the dead.
- 15:49Speaker 2: How old is he?
- 15:50Speaker 6: He's twenty nine, twenty eight so I've been married twenty
- 15:54Speaker 6: eight years and he he's a lawyer.
- 15:58Speaker 4: You know. By the way, I'm having a fourth grandchild.
- 16:01Speaker 4: I just learned.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Congratulations.
- 16:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 6: My son is like you know, having babies, right, even
- 16:08Speaker 6: he has trouble making. He worked for the Attorney general
- 16:10Speaker 6: and there was making like I think there was public
- 16:12Speaker 6: record one hundred and three thousand dollars or something. And
- 16:15Speaker 6: he's got They had three kids, you know, they used
- 16:17Speaker 6: to be like a great salary and.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Used to be able to.
- 16:20Speaker 6: It ain't even close anymore. I'm still helping him. I'm
- 16:24Speaker 6: glad too, but I'm still helping him because I can.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Right, But what and then all these price increases after COVID, right,
- 16:33Speaker 4: twenty three percent? Why haven't they come back down? There's
- 16:36Speaker 4: no COVID because they didn't.
- 16:38Speaker 2: They didn't want to lose the money.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Well, because it's greed, and I think one of the the.
- 16:43Speaker 6: Corporate greed in capitalism, well with greed in general in capitalism.
- 16:47Speaker 4: And I'm not saying this. I'm not don't worry, folks.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I'm not going to get away.
- 16:51Speaker 4: I'm not switching side.
- 16:52Speaker 6: But but I understand the frustration, and we better find
- 16:58Speaker 6: a way to fix see it. Well, see because if not,
- 17:02Speaker 6: this dsa crazy Yeah yeahhoos, yeah, are getting traction because
- 17:09Speaker 6: I know empirically you think about it, and I look,
- 17:13Speaker 6: I don't expect anyone having a zigan dogs, right, there's
- 17:16Speaker 6: a lot of very wealthy people.
- 17:17Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 17:18Speaker 6: Good for the economic right, congratulations, Right, I was journalist
- 17:21Speaker 6: all my life. I should have been a lawyer, sure, right,
- 17:23Speaker 6: But then I have to go to school. Yeah, do that, So,
- 17:27Speaker 6: so you know, I sympathize. I Look, I'm a hard
- 17:31Speaker 6: rock conservative, right, I sympathize with the frustration of what
- 17:37Speaker 6: people see. Sure, and I think we have to find
- 17:41Speaker 6: a way to fix this.
- 17:43Speaker 2: So I kind of want to say it a different
- 17:44Speaker 2: way and see if you agree with it.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:45Speaker 7: I do think a lot of young people who feel
- 17:47Speaker 7: like you can't buy your house at the age you
- 17:49Speaker 7: were supposed to buy your house, you can't pay for
- 17:51Speaker 7: an apartment, will go into school with a part time job, like,
- 17:54Speaker 7: there's a lot of things you can't do. And so
- 17:55Speaker 7: I understand, and as I as you said, I sympathize
- 17:59Speaker 7: with the complaint there.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I don't know that anyone has.
- 18:01Speaker 7: Proposed a good solution to that problem, though, because I
- 18:05Speaker 7: don't want companies to be restricted in how they innovate.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Well, I don't either, But why didn't prices come back down?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yeah? But how do you do it?
- 18:12Speaker 4: So complain everybody lower your damn price?
- 18:16Speaker 2: What if they don't? What if they don't, But that's
- 18:18Speaker 2: when I sort of.
- 18:19Speaker 7: And what if they tell you that the reason they
- 18:20Speaker 7: can is because the costs are too high? And look,
- 18:23Speaker 7: going back, how how involved you get to see that
- 18:25Speaker 7: they're lying.
- 18:25Speaker 6: Well, look, I don't know where the conservative book is, right, Okay,
- 18:29Speaker 6: here are the things you.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Have to believe to be a conservative. It doesn't matter,
- 18:32Speaker 4: I really don't.
- 18:33Speaker 2: You don't.
- 18:34Speaker 6: I just know I'm for kicking butt in Iran. I'm
- 18:37Speaker 6: for throwing everybody outposed to.
- 18:40Speaker 7: Let's talk about healthcare for a second, if you don't mind,
- 18:42Speaker 7: because I agree with a lot of people that say
- 18:44Speaker 7: that like healthcare is unfair. I agree with a lot
- 18:45Speaker 7: of people, But I don't think Luigi mangionis shooting someone
- 18:48Speaker 7: did anything, of course.
- 18:49Speaker 2: But here's what I will say is we.
- 18:52Speaker 7: Are one of the most innovative countries in the world
- 18:54Speaker 7: when it comes to medicine. And the reason we're innovative
- 18:57Speaker 7: is because people make a crap ton of money when
- 18:58Speaker 7: we innovate something. If we stop them from making a
- 19:01Speaker 7: crap ton of money, do they stop innovating?
- 19:04Speaker 4: Maybe?
- 19:04Speaker 6: But I gotta tell you I I look at the
- 19:07Speaker 6: medical center here, got a great medical center in Houston.
- 19:10Speaker 6: And I don't mean to offend well, actually I don't care, right.
- 19:14Speaker 4: But but I see the bills.
- 19:17Speaker 6: Look, I'm not, as you know, I have an ass
- 19:19Speaker 6: I have diabetes I'm I been in a hospital a
- 19:21Speaker 6: bunch of times. I'd head on car wreck. Trust me,
- 19:24Speaker 6: I'm a beat up. I'm a beat up uman. I've
- 19:26Speaker 6: been in the hospital a lot. I see the bills, right,
- 19:30Speaker 6: I see that it's insane. Yes, I was involved in
- 19:33Speaker 6: an investigation of United Healthcare years ago. I think Obamacare
- 19:40Speaker 6: is an abomination. It just really is horrible. But and
- 19:45Speaker 6: this is gonna maybe look it's gonna maybe it's not
- 19:47Speaker 6: like a damn liberal, but I'm not. But I get Medicare, right.
- 19:50Speaker 6: I didn't take Medicare. I'd run my company and they
- 19:53Speaker 6: came to me and they said, hey, you know you're
- 19:56Speaker 6: the sick one. You're the one that's casting all the money.
- 19:58Speaker 6: You need to go on Medicare and let the young
- 20:00Speaker 6: folks lower your rates.
- 20:02Speaker 4: My rates never went down. I got off. I got
- 20:04Speaker 4: in Medicare.
- 20:05Speaker 6: You know what I get it. Medicare is actually pretty good.
- 20:09Speaker 6: Nobody calls me bothers me I pay less money.
- 20:12Speaker 7: Well, it's funny that you say that that makes you
- 20:14Speaker 7: a liberal, because it doesn't. It reminds me when Trump
- 20:17Speaker 7: said that he got all the tax loopholes because he
- 20:20Speaker 7: was smart, Like you take advantage of the stuff that
- 20:22Speaker 7: exists that makes you smart, that doesn't make.
- 20:23Speaker 2: You a liberal or conservative. Yeah, one of them makes
- 20:25Speaker 2: you intelligence.
- 20:26Speaker 6: One of the things I would fix immediately is that
- 20:28Speaker 6: you could buy your health insurance anywhere, Yes, any kind
- 20:31Speaker 6: of health insurance across state lines. This notion that we
- 20:33Speaker 6: have like these monopolies, like only one company can operate
- 20:37Speaker 6: in Alabama or Texas is there are things we can
- 20:40Speaker 6: fix to make this better if every company had to
- 20:44Speaker 6: compete for your business and you could tell your plan
- 20:48Speaker 6: to what you want.
- 20:49Speaker 2: So yeah, I like two ideas. Go ahead. I don't
- 20:52Speaker 2: mean it right, I know.
- 20:53Speaker 6: I think we have to have more scene conversations. I
- 20:57Speaker 6: do think a lot of our rhetoric, right ice rhetoric
- 21:01Speaker 6: early on with crazy up there with her and her boyfriend,
- 21:05Speaker 6: and yeah, I think we it's over the top. And
- 21:11Speaker 6: I think that is one of the big messaging mistakes. Yeah,
- 21:13Speaker 6: they misinterpreted the victory and then said.
- 21:18Speaker 4: We're gonna throw out every single proby.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Look, just do it right.
- 21:22Speaker 4: We don't need to make like a like.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Well, they always need the points. Politicians always need the points,
- 21:28Speaker 2: I know, but this self, they shouldn't. I agree with
- 21:31Speaker 2: you wholeheartedly.
- 21:31Speaker 7: I think they should govern without caring about getting any
- 21:35Speaker 7: sort of credit for what they do. But politicians can't
- 21:37Speaker 7: help themselves in that world. They have to always take credit.
- 21:40Speaker 7: But to go back to healthcare real quick, I do
- 21:42Speaker 7: like Trump's solution Surprise Surprise, which is a direct payment
- 21:46Speaker 7: system with advertised costs, which means, just like a gas station,
- 21:50Speaker 7: if I drive by the hospital. Maybe not to this degree,
- 21:53Speaker 7: I can know what the cost of things is. Right
- 21:55Speaker 7: when they make it transparent, they'll have to compete against
- 21:58Speaker 7: each other. And when I get a direct system, which
- 22:00Speaker 7: means I'm giving my money directly to these doctors somehow,
- 22:04Speaker 7: whether or not an insurance company is involved, then I'm
- 22:07Speaker 7: getting to a point where I think that the competitive
- 22:10Speaker 7: aspects of the industry that don't exist make it cheaper.
- 22:14Speaker 6: Insurance companies and I'm not being paid by anybody who
- 22:17Speaker 6: could say this. Insurance companies are a huge problem. They
- 22:20Speaker 6: convinced Congress that it was the doctors, yeah, that were
- 22:25Speaker 6: screwing the system. Right, the insurance companies are.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Making billions, billions, billions, And look again, these seem like
- 22:33Speaker 4: not conservative things, but they are right.
- 22:37Speaker 6: I look, we've got if we're going to if we're
- 22:41Speaker 6: going to stay in power and.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Try the direct the future of this country.
- 22:46Speaker 2: We have to respond to somebod these problems.
- 22:48Speaker 4: We also have to.
- 22:49Speaker 6: Stop acting like arrogant fools and worrying about clicks.
- 22:54Speaker 4: And we need to be We need to be conservative is.
- 22:58Speaker 6: A good thing, right, and whether it's Ronald Reagan said
- 23:01Speaker 6: it in a way where it didn't seem offensive. And
- 23:04Speaker 6: I just think while offending people, calling people rhinos, offending people,
- 23:09Speaker 6: we need to have more people on our side.
- 23:12Speaker 4: This is said the game works right, Yes, you gotta
- 23:14Speaker 4: have more.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Especial especially younger people.
- 23:16Speaker 7: I think that you do need uh And this is
- 23:19Speaker 7: something that I thought Charlie Kirk did very well when
- 23:21Speaker 7: he was alive, and sadly he was killed for caring
- 23:23Speaker 7: about what he thought. He very often would say to
- 23:25Speaker 7: the crazy liberal people who debate him that they were
- 23:29Speaker 7: right when they complained about money. They were right when
- 23:31Speaker 7: they complained about the inability to get something. Compared to
- 23:34Speaker 7: a previous generation. It was easier. It doesn't mean people
- 23:36Speaker 7: didn't work hard to get it. It just was more
- 23:39Speaker 7: achievable before currently is now. You did also worked well.
- 23:43Speaker 7: I'm sure a lot of people worked on it. I
- 23:44Speaker 7: had three jobs out of college. So I'm sure there's
- 23:46Speaker 7: a lot of people like.
- 23:46Speaker 4: That, and they don't do that anymore.
- 23:48Speaker 2: They don't do that.
- 23:48Speaker 4: No offense, but they don't.
- 23:49Speaker 2: They don't care. They don't care about building any sort
- 23:51Speaker 2: of wealth.
- 23:51Speaker 7: But anyway, I do think that just generally, there are
- 23:54Speaker 7: things that have become more expensive than they used to
- 23:58Speaker 7: be compared to the amount of money. Well, yeah, compared
- 24:01Speaker 7: to the amount of money we're making, which is what
- 24:02Speaker 7: you're saying. So finding a solution to that problem that
- 24:05Speaker 7: isn't the Democratic Socialists of America would be a great
- 24:08Speaker 7: move by the Republican Party.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I don't know what that is.
- 24:10Speaker 6: I want to before we take a break, I want
- 24:12Speaker 6: to hear. Give me your like. Let's start with. Look,
- 24:15Speaker 6: I put some pressure on you. I don't want to
- 24:18Speaker 6: hear good stuff.
- 24:18Speaker 7: Okay, you want to hear do you want to hear? Well,
- 24:23Speaker 7: all right, Tall Rico is the craziest thing we have
- 24:26Speaker 7: that clip that's gone viral.
- 24:27Speaker 6: Something wrong with him? Look, you know me, I don't
- 24:31Speaker 6: I'm very shy. I don't like to engage.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Oh no, you don't.
- 24:34Speaker 4: I mean personal attacks.
- 24:35Speaker 7: But there is something you referenced, a clip that's gone
- 24:39Speaker 7: very viral, which is when he describes and this is
- 24:41Speaker 7: a very quick one women.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Oddly, let's play that.
- 24:45Speaker 8: Oddly, every one of our neighbors with the uterus became
- 24:50Speaker 8: the property of the state.
- 24:52Speaker 2: I got to bump it up in a break.
- 24:54Speaker 7: But that's every one of our neighbors with a uterus
- 24:56Speaker 7: became a property of the government.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I think it's what he said there.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Let me say, neighbors with a pp or is.
- 25:02Speaker 2: That I don't think we can. But where we Yeah,
- 25:04Speaker 2: we just did. We just did.
- 25:05Speaker 4: So that's one of them.
- 25:08Speaker 2: We got to take a break because we're a little
- 25:09Speaker 2: bit behind. But we have more.
- 25:11Speaker 7: I have Greg Abbott, I have DSA people, I have
- 25:13Speaker 7: other things. And it's Canter getting kicked out of the WNBA.
- 25:16Speaker 7: All that more coming up in a bit. It is

- 26:50Speaker 5: of Texas. I just think that certain people are incapable
- 26:53Speaker 5: of actually integrating into certain societies. There's nothing that you
- 26:56Speaker 5: can do to make them compatible. There's nothing that you
- 26:59Speaker 5: can do to compete with basic centuries of that kind
- 27:02Speaker 5: of barbarism that teaches people and affirms that this behavior
- 27:05Speaker 5: is okay. You are listening to the home of the
- 27:07Speaker 5: Danish show AM seven hundred KSEV, the Voice of Texas.
- 27:13Speaker 16: From the KSV Weather Center. Today, expect partly sunny skies

- 27:30Speaker 16: reaching a high of one hundred. Thursday will be hot
- 27:32Speaker 16: with a mix of clouds and sun, with a chance
- 27:34Speaker 16: of a thunderstorm and some spots during the afternoon. The
- 27:36Speaker 16: high temperature will be one hundred degrees with the KACV
- 27:39Speaker 16: Weather Center forecast on Acuweather Meteorologist Joe Lundbergh.
- 27:59Speaker 6: It is your keep Morning, Monday, August twenty fourth, twenty
- 28:04Speaker 6: twenty six, The Voice of Texas AM seven hundred KCV
- 28:09Speaker 6: The Morning Boys.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Right, sure the Mob, Sure, yeah, we are the mob.
- 28:13Speaker 4: We definitely the mob.
- 28:14Speaker 7: By the way, I didn't tell you this earlier. My
- 28:16Speaker 7: grandmother would never talk about the mob.
- 28:17Speaker 2: When she was alive. You'd ask her how our family
- 28:19Speaker 2: was connected to the mob, and she'd give me another meatball.
- 28:22Speaker 4: She'd be like, you missed that, but you missed god?
- 28:27Speaker 6: Do I?
- 28:27Speaker 4: Oh? My god?
- 28:29Speaker 2: And we are both very Italian. I am noticing this.
- 28:34Speaker 6: Like I said, I run with it right me too.
- 28:37Speaker 6: People have called me a media terrorist. They called me
- 28:40Speaker 6: like they think I'm a mob guy. I will tell
- 28:43Speaker 6: you a story, okay, real quick. So my dad was
- 28:47Speaker 6: in the beauty business in New York and he was
- 28:51Speaker 6: in a company that imported remember those big curlers that
- 28:54Speaker 6: ladies used to wear back in the day, the big
- 28:57Speaker 6: ones with the white paper on it. That was my
- 29:00Speaker 6: ads company. And he worked in that company with I
- 29:04Speaker 6: don't think the Gambino guys are going to be mad.
- 29:06Speaker 6: With one of Gambino's brothers and a guy named Anthony
- 29:09Speaker 6: Scotto who ran the docks in New York, It's true,
- 29:12Speaker 6: and they didn't pay the import fees.
- 29:14Speaker 4: I mean, my dad wasn't in the mom It was
- 29:16Speaker 4: just aficial.
- 29:18Speaker 6: He owned a beauty beauty parlors there and then sold
- 29:22Speaker 6: beauty supplies down here in the South when the Italians
- 29:26Speaker 6: used to control a lot of the beauty back then,
- 29:29Speaker 6: it was like the Greeks were in the here and
- 29:31Speaker 6: used to were in charge of the the you know,
- 29:34Speaker 6: the dance place, the modeling studios and all that stuff
- 29:38Speaker 6: until the Chicago crime family. I actually investigated the Chicago
- 29:43Speaker 6: crime family, the Accardo family, and when I was still
- 29:47Speaker 6: working in radio, and they were moving in on the
- 29:50Speaker 6: Greeks that ran the dirty places here, and we would
- 29:56Speaker 6: we would stake out these places and gets plates and
- 30:00Speaker 6: trace them back to the guys in Chicago who the
- 30:04Speaker 6: media up there said were mob guid I don't know
- 30:06Speaker 6: if they were mob.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Guys, but hey, if I can somebody else said they
- 30:09Speaker 4: were mob guys. Good enough for me.
- 30:10Speaker 7: You know what's funny about this conversation, too, is the
- 30:13Speaker 7: people today kind of like mob stories.
- 30:15Speaker 2: They shouldn't.
- 30:15Speaker 7: The mobsters were terrible people, but there's something about these
- 30:19Speaker 7: conversations that feel different, Like there's a lot of people
- 30:21Speaker 7: that like the Sopranos and all those TV shows and
- 30:24Speaker 7: the weird ways in which we talk about mobsters.
- 30:26Speaker 6: Now, so the mob wasn't terrible. Look, they charged people
- 30:29Speaker 6: for protections, but there were neighborhoods.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Well, this sounds like a mob guide now, and.
- 30:32Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I'm not trying.
- 30:33Speaker 2: The guys there weren't so bad.
- 30:35Speaker 4: They were so bad.
- 30:36Speaker 6: They had the good qualities and that was protecting the people, right.
- 30:40Speaker 6: It wasn't like if you paid them, they were right.
- 30:44Speaker 6: Nothing will happen to you if you pay us, and
- 30:47Speaker 6: they were right, because no.
- 30:49Speaker 4: One would dare do that.
- 30:51Speaker 6: I also want, as we go along to talk about crime,
- 30:54Speaker 6: because it says crime is down one thousand percent.
- 30:58Speaker 4: I just don't believe that.
- 30:59Speaker 6: I think we're like doing something with the numbers, right,
- 31:02Speaker 6: And but I do think there's a subset. You know,
- 31:04Speaker 6: the last time I was in jail, okay, which was
- 31:08Speaker 6: four or five years ago, got arrested by a judge
- 31:11Speaker 6: for contempt.
- 31:12Speaker 4: I had a hidden camera on. You can look it
- 31:14Speaker 4: up Google Google me and you'll see me in an
- 31:18Speaker 4: orange jumpsuit. Okay, it was. It was in the news.
- 31:21Speaker 4: I got arrested.
- 31:22Speaker 6: The judge later got indicted, but I think that indictment
- 31:27Speaker 6: was dropped because of the color of his skin.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Wow.
- 31:29Speaker 4: And I know it's shocking to say that, because sometimes
- 31:32Speaker 4: it just is true.
- 31:32Speaker 2: He was charged with official oppression.
- 31:34Speaker 6: Was charged with the fist oppression because you arrested me
- 31:37Speaker 6: for asking questions help me and contempt put an alcohol
- 31:41Speaker 6: monitor on me. Even when I was drunk. I was
- 31:44Speaker 6: just being, you know, a smart butt reporter. But the
- 31:46Speaker 6: last time I.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Was in jail, I noticed a couple of things.
- 31:49Speaker 6: Okay, it was during the COVID times, right, you know so,
- 31:53Speaker 6: and I only had a few diseases.
- 31:54Speaker 4: So it's a perfect place to put me for you know,
- 31:57Speaker 4: doing this for a night. I should have sued.
- 32:00Speaker 6: I really should sue the county and made a bunch
- 32:02Speaker 6: of money, and then I could just be doing this
- 32:04Speaker 6: for free, just for fun. But I am anyway. But
- 32:08Speaker 6: I know why I said do because I am anyway. Yeah,
- 32:11Speaker 6: you know I've complained a lot today, That's OK. I'm
- 32:15Speaker 6: just telling Look, can I tell you something. It is
- 32:18Speaker 6: my joy besides for telling war stories, which we will,
- 32:22Speaker 6: it is my joy to join the fight. Yes, we
- 32:27Speaker 6: have got got to fight to fight, and if there
- 32:30Speaker 6: is anybody out there, tell your friends that it's time
- 32:36Speaker 6: to start listening and watching us.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Where are we.
- 32:40Speaker 2: We're on Rumble, We're on YouTube, and we're on X today.
- 32:43Speaker 4: Okay, so look, there are so many Look, you can
- 32:46Speaker 4: be as lazy as you want. Just stare at your
- 32:48Speaker 4: darn phone. Right, Let's get all the kids around.
- 32:51Speaker 6: And give them the phones and and start listening to
- 32:54Speaker 6: us and supporting us. Because and I don't say it's
- 32:58Speaker 6: not a money thing for me, right, So I say
- 33:00Speaker 6: this totally in whateverness. But if we don't have a voice,
- 33:06Speaker 6: and we but we also can't stay in our bubble.
- 33:10Speaker 6: I listened to see an analot at night.
- 33:13Speaker 4: Right. I think they are in very many ways my enemy.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Yes, they are my enemy.
- 33:19Speaker 6: And I think they will turn any story and look
- 33:22Speaker 6: for the most negative possible thing and eliminate. I have
- 33:26Speaker 6: seen online one of the great things about social media,
- 33:29Speaker 6: like President Trump doing things that totally you'd never see
- 33:35Speaker 6: on any of the media. You know, it was always
- 33:39Speaker 6: nice in the old days when the president did nice
- 33:41Speaker 6: things or kissed a baby of some poor victim or something. Right,
- 33:46Speaker 6: and what a great story that is, right, And We
- 33:49Speaker 6: used to tell that story, like what happened to that person?
- 33:52Speaker 4: Right? That doesn't fit the narrative.
- 33:55Speaker 2: It doesn't with this guy.
- 33:56Speaker 7: When Biden was in office, when his brain was broken,
- 33:58Speaker 7: they bragged all the time about how much he liked
- 34:00Speaker 7: ice cream.
- 34:01Speaker 4: It's just going more over the top.
- 34:02Speaker 6: But think about it. They did it with Bush, they
- 34:05Speaker 6: do it with Republicans. I heard someone say, like since
- 34:08Speaker 6: Vietnam it changed that. Now when Republicans are in a conflict,
- 34:12Speaker 6: all the coverage seems to be about the domestic repercussions
- 34:16Speaker 6: of it. When a Democrat like Obama goes to Libya
- 34:19Speaker 6: for seven months, I be honest with you, and maybe
- 34:22Speaker 6: I was drunk, but I don't really remember.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Like this outrage. What are we doing? Why are we
- 34:29Speaker 4: chasing some guy in the desert. Some who cares me.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Is why are we spending so much of this money?
- 34:34Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, where is that? But
- 34:37Speaker 6: once we're at war, I will say this, and this
- 34:40Speaker 6: is what really enrages me. Once we are in war,
- 34:45Speaker 6: do not do anything to make the enemy know anything.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Sure, it's the art of war.
- 34:52Speaker 6: Iran watches our idiots, yes, yes, watches these democratic politicians
- 34:59Speaker 6: wh should say one thing is clear, you will not
- 35:04Speaker 6: have a nuclear weapon. You won't even think about having
- 35:07Speaker 6: a nuclear weapon. And if and you got to stop
- 35:09Speaker 6: screwing around, and we didn't tell Israel, okay, it's time
- 35:13Speaker 6: to like relax, go home, right, And look, we're not
- 35:18Speaker 6: into the politics of everybody's government. We got to remember
- 35:21Speaker 6: that we're not in charge of the world. Right, we
- 35:24Speaker 6: can kick anyone's butt on any day. Everybody should know
- 35:28Speaker 6: that if you.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Piss us off, you regret it right very quickly.
- 35:32Speaker 6: And I thought them astake we made in around. Besides,
- 35:35Speaker 6: with the messaging going in, I thought the mistake we
- 35:38Speaker 6: made was the first ceasefire.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you didn't blow it to pieces.
- 35:42Speaker 6: You needed to give him another ten twenty days. And
- 35:46Speaker 6: we need to start, like, you know, killing the troops.
- 35:48Speaker 2: We need to start you boots on the ground.
- 35:51Speaker 4: I was okay with I'm okay with taking carg Island.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I think car Island would be a great thing to take.
- 35:56Speaker 4: So that's where I sort of went off the sure.
- 36:01Speaker 7: And I also the mobster in me loved the idea
- 36:03Speaker 7: of a fee at the Straight of Hormoz, the United
- 36:06Speaker 7: States taking a fee for anybody that gets through the
- 36:08Speaker 7: straight of hormoes.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I thought that was great.
- 36:09Speaker 6: Yeah, I look, I think I think we would be
- 36:13Speaker 6: better off if the media wasn't so all right.
- 36:16Speaker 4: I hated him so much.
- 36:17Speaker 2: This is what I was thinking of. This is what
- 36:18Speaker 2: I wanted to say.
- 36:19Speaker 4: The media is getting very dangerous country.
- 36:21Speaker 2: This is what I wanted to say to you, though.
- 36:22Speaker 7: There's a lot of people who have the conversation we're
- 36:24Speaker 7: having right now and it lacks the substance that you're
- 36:26Speaker 7: capable of providing, which what I mean by that is
- 36:29Speaker 7: when you say we need to figure out where the
- 36:31Speaker 7: bad stuff is.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Going on and expose it. You have a career of
- 36:35Speaker 2: doing that.
- 36:36Speaker 7: And there's so many people who say that I think
- 36:38Speaker 7: this is bad, or that's bad, or they're stealing my
- 36:41Speaker 7: money over here, they're wasting over there. And so many
- 36:43Speaker 7: of these people are what we call conspiracy theorists now
- 36:45Speaker 7: because they can't prove any of the things that they're saying.
- 36:48Speaker 7: They might be true, they might be false, they don't
- 36:50Speaker 7: even care to go get them. And people like Nick
- 36:52Speaker 7: Shirley today or you throughout your whole career, have gone
- 36:55Speaker 7: that extra step, that incredibly important step of going and
- 36:58Speaker 7: getting the receipts, and so one of the things I
- 37:00Speaker 7: think this show can do really well is help everybody
- 37:03Speaker 7: else out there understand how important the receipts are and
- 37:07Speaker 7: that they have to go find them too.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Oh yeah, we look, I think our lack of knowing.
- 37:11Speaker 6: I mean, you ever see on Fox they do demand
- 37:14Speaker 6: on the street thing and people are just absolutely incredibly uneducated.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Yes, it's shockingly uneducated.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Yeah, we need to just fix that tomorrow tomorrow.
- 37:24Speaker 7: And we need to fix that by telling people not
- 37:26Speaker 7: to go get more education because they're not getting any
- 37:28Speaker 7: education in those places. They need to learn it on
- 37:30Speaker 7: their own. They need to crack a book, maybe go
- 37:33Speaker 7: to a library, do something.
- 37:35Speaker 6: But the look one of my biggest problems because I
- 37:38Speaker 6: at night, I'm home alone. My family lives in Austin.
- 37:41Speaker 6: I work in Houston during the week and then go home,
- 37:44Speaker 6: so I'm by myself. All I do is the scroll
- 37:47Speaker 6: and look at you know, sure, look at stupid stuff.
- 37:50Speaker 6: I don't know what's real and I don't know what's true,
- 37:54Speaker 6: and I'm looking. I'm fairly entrenched in stuff going on.
- 37:58Speaker 4: I know a lot. If I could say half stuff
- 38:00Speaker 4: I know, it would be right. I mean, it would
- 38:02Speaker 4: be a good time. But even I don't know what's real.
- 38:07Speaker 4: I think that is we've got.
- 38:09Speaker 6: To fix that too, because otherwise people like my son
- 38:15Speaker 6: and my daughter, I'll take my personal life, are so
- 38:18Speaker 6: diet whatever the word is, diametrically opposed in politics, right,
- 38:23Speaker 6: My daughter is a TikTok liberal.
- 38:27Speaker 4: My son is a you know.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Conservative, he's a.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Frontis conservative, he's a Tucker conservative.
- 38:34Speaker 6: He's a part of the party that's very conservative at israelitics.
- 38:37Speaker 4: They have too much power in this country.
- 38:39Speaker 2: That's that's again.
- 38:41Speaker 7: And to say that, I think that everybody is looking
- 38:43Speaker 7: for someone to blame because a lot of what's going
- 38:46Speaker 7: on in our day to day life is not what
- 38:47Speaker 7: we want.
- 38:48Speaker 4: Yeah, but no one believes anything.
- 38:50Speaker 6: I've had conversations with people who really believe that little
- 38:54Speaker 6: freak show guy Tyler Robinson didn't.
- 38:57Speaker 7: Didn't kill, didn't kill there was a bomb in his
- 39:01Speaker 7: microphone or whatever.
- 39:02Speaker 6: They did stinat that because there was a camera that
- 39:05Speaker 6: was rolling, or someone said something that someone else thinks
- 39:09Speaker 6: is weird.
- 39:10Speaker 4: And because people are being bombarded with certain images.
- 39:18Speaker 6: There is no longer news, right, It's all getting melted,
- 39:22Speaker 6: so that every I used to talk about radio you
- 39:25Speaker 6: ever do a story naked in radio, because I did,
- 39:28Speaker 6: right from my.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Bed stories about being naked.
- 39:30Speaker 4: You're on the air, you're on the radio, like the naked.
- 39:33Speaker 2: On the radio I have.
- 39:35Speaker 6: I'm just like it was like a long time ago.
- 39:38Speaker 6: But I was doing like live shots and I was
- 39:40Speaker 6: in my hotel room and I was in bed, and
- 39:42Speaker 6: I was like naked right and doing the radio. I
- 39:45Speaker 6: admit this, Could you get prosecuted now for this?
- 39:48Speaker 7: I I've done a national show in my underwear because
- 39:52Speaker 7: there was no video, so I filled in on the
- 39:54Speaker 7: National show for three hours and didn't put pants on.
- 39:56Speaker 6: I did the Republican Convention and we overslapped, we partied.
- 40:01Speaker 6: It was like nineteen eighty four. I was in radio
- 40:03Speaker 6: and we were doing live every morning and we all
- 40:07Speaker 6: overslept and yeah, we're like five or six minutes late.
- 40:10Speaker 6: We all wake it up in our underwear. And I
- 40:12Speaker 6: ain't invited. I want to say it was a senator,
- 40:15Speaker 6: but I don't remember at the time. Some politician, right,
- 40:18Speaker 6: And the door was cracked open in the hotel where
- 40:20Speaker 6: it was all sweet, right, and so all of a
- 40:22Speaker 6: sudden him and his entourage command.
- 40:24Speaker 4: And we're all there on our underwear.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah sure, yeah, yeah, because there's no videos.
- 40:29Speaker 4: People, But I should write a book.
- 40:31Speaker 2: You should write a book.
- 40:31Speaker 7: I wanted to say one thing, and I know we're
- 40:33Speaker 7: probably up on one last break before we get to
- 40:35Speaker 7: the end of the day.
- 40:36Speaker 4: We need to make money.
- 40:37Speaker 7: We did need to make money, but one last thing
- 40:39Speaker 7: in what you're saying, we also didn't have the capability
- 40:41Speaker 7: of obsessing over every single video the way we do now,
- 40:44Speaker 7: Like there's a Bruder film or whatever. Didn't exist in
- 40:46Speaker 7: everybody's pocket and now it does. And so everybody who
- 40:50Speaker 7: watches the Charlie Kirk shooting can decide whatever they think
- 40:54Speaker 7: they're seeing it.
- 40:55Speaker 2: That's the problem.
- 40:56Speaker 4: This is very depressing. Look, we're gonna get very serious.
- 41:02Speaker 6: We thought our first show it would be fun if
- 41:04Speaker 6: we could talk, just be ourselves, just like being to
- 41:07Speaker 6: uh guy, you guys having a mutpool sandwich. Alright, man,
- 41:15Speaker 6: am seven hundred KSCV. This is the home of rational
- 41:21Speaker 6: conservative people.

- 43:53Speaker 4: All right, During the break, we were talking about what else?
- 43:57Speaker 4: Italian food?
- 43:59Speaker 2: Oh my god, where's the best pizza in Houston?
- 44:03Speaker 6: So I don't want to call someone the best, but
- 44:05Speaker 6: I was telling you that there's a place called Antonio's
- 44:08Speaker 6: Flying Pizza.
- 44:10Speaker 4: It's on Hillcroft near West.
- 44:11Speaker 6: Summer and Antonio, It's true, was owned the pizzeria by
- 44:18Speaker 6: my house in New Basin in Flat Push. He moved
- 44:23Speaker 6: here with his brothers the same year My family moved
- 44:27Speaker 6: here in nineteen sixty eight, and my father used to
- 44:30Speaker 6: take me to Antonio's and they were throwing the pizzas
- 44:34Speaker 6: across the room.
- 44:35Speaker 4: They don't do that anymore.
- 44:36Speaker 6: But back then it became a thing, right and they
- 44:39Speaker 6: they came and they were throwing pizzas and it was
- 44:41Speaker 6: a great place. They still have great baked clams. I'm
- 44:45Speaker 6: a big sounds bake clams guy, and they have bake clams.
- 44:50Speaker 6: And it's now run by his daughters.
- 44:51Speaker 2: And I'm not you know it still is it still
- 44:54Speaker 2: New York style?
- 44:54Speaker 6: It is still New York STOs So really good pizza.
- 44:56Speaker 6: They have very good big clams. The great place. Dep's
- 44:59Speaker 6: really some place.
- 45:00Speaker 2: It's not like I get a large pie from there, man, but.
- 45:02Speaker 4: It's but I but I the guy. I've known the
- 45:06Speaker 4: guy literally, and he called me one point.
- 45:08Speaker 6: He never asked me for favor. We were friendly. My
- 45:10Speaker 6: dad died in like eighties, in the eighties, so a
- 45:13Speaker 6: long time ago. So he called me once when I
- 45:17Speaker 6: was and he said the fire inspectors were you know,
- 45:20Speaker 6: jacking him up right, and they were asking for you know.
- 45:27Speaker 6: And so I wasn't going to do a story. But
- 45:31Speaker 6: I called over there and I told the fire Marshal
- 45:34Speaker 6: at TONI, I said, I'm gonna make this really short
- 45:37Speaker 6: and sweet. This is where I become the mom guy.
- 45:40Speaker 6: If if you guys, don't back off like yesterday, I
- 45:44Speaker 6: will take you all down.
- 45:45Speaker 2: There's going to be some problems.
- 45:46Speaker 4: And if people don't.
- 45:47Speaker 6: Think I ever did that, And look, I left Channel thirteen,
- 45:52Speaker 6: as everyone knows. Most people know, because it got to
- 45:55Speaker 6: a point where it wasn't workable anymore, that he couldn't.
- 45:57Speaker 2: They didn't want you to do what you were doing.
- 45:59Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean the Disney lawyers would say, hey, can
- 46:02Speaker 6: can somebody else do this first?
- 46:03Speaker 4: Can the Chronicle do this first? And I said, the
- 46:05Speaker 4: Chronicle a commerce.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Paper, Yeah?
- 46:07Speaker 4: Are you kidding me?
- 46:08Speaker 10: Wow?
- 46:09Speaker 4: And they would get.
- 46:10Speaker 6: Into everything we did, every document, every of you, every
- 46:14Speaker 6: It became unworkable because they lost their wavos, concertos, okay.
- 46:21Speaker 2: They lost their will to fight.
- 46:22Speaker 6: The guys that ran stations like Channel fifteen, the ABC guys,
- 46:27Speaker 6: they were tough guys, right, they were tough guys, and
- 46:30Speaker 6: and they they understood the power to the point of saying,
- 46:36Speaker 6: don't screw with us if we're investigating you legitimately, right
- 46:41Speaker 6: and you try to come back or threaten us. The
- 46:43Speaker 6: days of the auto dealers say hey, you don't do
- 46:45Speaker 6: any stories on cars, right because you lose all the ads.
- 46:50Speaker 2: You know, do you think it could come back.
- 46:51Speaker 7: No, Okay, I don't think there's any way that if
- 46:53Speaker 7: the right people were in charge of the right place.
- 46:55Speaker 6: I don't know, because I got to tell you it's
- 46:57Speaker 6: so dispersed now. You know, we started with the right
- 47:01Speaker 6: people didn't start watching it. When I was on TV,
- 47:03Speaker 6: it was appointment viewing. You watch the nine o'clock show,
- 47:06Speaker 6: and a lot of people would switch over to you
- 47:08Speaker 6: at ten o'clock.
- 47:09Speaker 4: You know, Dave and Sarah and Ed and Bob.
- 47:12Speaker 6: I mean, he was a family and and you know
- 47:15Speaker 6: for work any radio, we're a wild bunch radio guys.
- 47:18Speaker 2: We are, yes that we were even more wild back then,
- 47:21Speaker 2: that radio very wild.
- 47:23Speaker 8: You know.
- 47:23Speaker 6: We we loved together, we played together, we got drunk together.
- 47:27Speaker 6: We just because it's a very hard working atmosphere. But
- 47:32Speaker 6: you've got to have some fun because you'd go crazy
- 47:38Speaker 6: if you didn't. Right, So we were a family, and
- 47:42Speaker 6: we totally were. That is no longer part of it
- 47:46Speaker 6: right now, the day of appointment viewing to something. And sure,
- 47:49Speaker 6: I know there are people that are that are really
- 47:50Speaker 6: popular on blogs because they do wild things and say
- 47:53Speaker 6: wild things and whatever. And that's kind of what we've become.
- 47:57Speaker 6: And the media sort of learned that if you were
- 48:00Speaker 6: in the middle, he was kind of boring.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:03Speaker 7: Well, the other funny thing about the blogsters is they're
- 48:05Speaker 7: only popular when they do the crazy stuff. If they
- 48:08Speaker 7: try to do an uncrazy episode that doesn't get any views,
- 48:11Speaker 7: they have to be crazy every second, all the time.
- 48:13Speaker 6: I became crazy doing this because one of my investigations
- 48:17Speaker 6: was in the city of Dickinson, Okay. And by the way, hi,
- 48:20Speaker 6: my friends at Texas City, where we took back over
- 48:22Speaker 6: the government for the people who got rid of that
- 48:24Speaker 6: bad mayor. And I try to do that in some
- 48:26Speaker 6: towns right to do that kind of work, But there
- 48:31Speaker 6: are mayors that are just nuts, power hungry nuts in
- 48:39Speaker 6: these towns.
- 48:40Speaker 2: We got one guy on the phone we might want
- 48:42Speaker 2: to get to. Doug is there.
- 48:43Speaker 7: He will say something about the morning show Dog Doug
- 48:46Speaker 7: real quick. I don't know if it's gonna be nice
- 48:47Speaker 7: or it's not gonna be nice.
- 48:48Speaker 2: What do you want to say?
- 48:50Speaker 10: No, Yes, it's nice. I've enjoyed the Whost show and
- 48:56Speaker 10: it's informative even though it's you and him talkin' you
- 49:00Speaker 10: know his.
- 49:02Speaker 2: No, he does know mind it?
- 49:04Speaker 4: Okay. Well, that's that's exactly correct, thank you.
- 49:08Speaker 10: I continued that, right, So, so anyway, I uh you
- 49:12Speaker 10: know everything you say basically is is what we need
- 49:15Speaker 10: to do and the way we need to promote the program. Uh,
- 49:20Speaker 10: you know, we need to you know, people need to
- 49:23Speaker 10: get involved and uh and uh and Wayne's background and
- 49:31Speaker 10: investigation is uh is complimentary to uh to to your
- 49:37Speaker 10: in radio and gives us a better perspective and it's entertaining,
- 49:43Speaker 10: you know. So I'm uh you know, I'm a I've
- 49:47Speaker 10: been a long time listener and uh I'm uh you know,
- 49:52Speaker 10: I miss Chris. But Chris uh was more righteous indignation,
- 49:57Speaker 10: which which I appreciated and what we needed. He's taken
- 50:01Speaker 10: a different format that promotes our same calls and uh
- 50:06Speaker 10: and we need to get involved and uh.
- 50:09Speaker 4: Yeah, Doug.
- 50:09Speaker 6: At the end of the day, Doug, We're all trying
- 50:13Speaker 6: to contribute to a narrative because the reality is if
- 50:18Speaker 6: we don't fight for what we believe in today, there
- 50:22Speaker 6: will be nothing left to fight about because we will lose.
- 50:27Speaker 10: We absolutely about a month ago, Uh, I got involved
- 50:34Speaker 10: and uh, your your first commercial was John Doe. Uh
- 50:39Speaker 10: you know God Country and uh God Family and Country,
- 50:44Speaker 10: which uh supports conservative views and you know, I see
- 50:50Speaker 10: that in this uh, in this program, so you know
- 50:53Speaker 10: I've originally wanted it with Chris and some of the others.
- 50:58Speaker 2: But one last thing, Doug, for you, and thank you
- 50:59Speaker 2: so much. We're calling in man. We didn't choose to
- 51:01Speaker 2: let Chris go, Wayne, and I didn't fire Chris, and
- 51:04Speaker 2: Chris didn't I.
- 51:04Speaker 4: Wanted to Chris.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Chris left.
- 51:07Speaker 4: He left every other week.
- 51:10Speaker 2: So don't feel bad saying you miss Chris. We miss Chris.
- 51:13Speaker 2: But we're also happy we got to.
- 51:14Speaker 6: Get Yeah, and look, here's the reality. We all righteous indignation.
- 51:19Speaker 6: There are some things that I am furious about, and
- 51:22Speaker 6: you will hear that good.
- 51:23Speaker 4: I just believe that we have to.
- 51:26Speaker 6: Also have a sense of humor and tell war stories
- 51:29Speaker 6: because the reality is we all live our own lives.
- 51:33Speaker 6: And this is why I did some stories in Montgomery
- 51:36Speaker 6: County on the tea party up there, because I thought
- 51:37Speaker 6: they were too far, that it was like a litmus
- 51:40Speaker 6: test if you didn't believe in everything. They wanted a
- 51:43Speaker 6: different speaker, different Who cares. I don't care who the
- 51:46Speaker 6: speaker was, right, I know what's important, But that's the
- 51:50Speaker 6: internal party fight, right. But this notion that if you
- 51:54Speaker 6: don't follow a sleeate of exact policy agreement that somehow
- 52:01Speaker 6: you're like a Republican name only.
- 52:03Speaker 4: What are we doing. I've never seen people saying, look,
- 52:07Speaker 4: I want to piss off half the people that like me. Sure,
- 52:11Speaker 4: because I think that helps me. Sure, And it's the
- 52:15Speaker 4: stupidest thing ever.
- 52:17Speaker 7: At the same time, and I agree with you, there
- 52:18Speaker 7: are people who are Republicans in name only that we
- 52:21Speaker 7: do need to fight.
- 52:21Speaker 2: I exist, but it's not everybody.
- 52:24Speaker 4: But that's what voters are for, exactly.
- 52:26Speaker 2: But that's it. We're done. That's a two hour radio
- 52:28Speaker 2: show that's overweight.
- 52:29Speaker 4: Oh you're kidding me? Can we go along? There were
- 52:32Speaker 4: some sports guys doing a four hour show on this.
- 52:34Speaker 7: We can keep going now. I think Brian Kilmeat's got
- 52:37Speaker 7: what's next? Thank you way and this was fun first show.
- 52:39Speaker 7: A lot of other shows coming up. KSAV Mornings, Wayne
- 52:42Speaker 7: Delchafino watch listen.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Tell your friends. We'll get chatchkeys to give out at
- 52:48Speaker 2: some point. I love chokes, all right, see you guys
- 52:51Speaker 2: next time.
