- 0:19investigators collected scattered metallic fragments
- 0:22on a New Mexico ranch and carried out a careful
- 0:25investigation that involved military and scientific
- 0:29observers. The inquiry accelerated public and
- 0:33professional interest in studying unidentified
- 0:36aerial phenomena, advanced debris analysis practices,
- 0:40and framed long -lasting conversations about
- 0:43transparency and scientific inquiry. So now you
- 0:47know. And now, it's time for the weather report.

- 2:43Sunny mornings send you. The town of Foxborough
- 2:49has filed a counterclaim against Kraft Sports
- 2:51and Entertainment, along with the New England
- 2:54Patriots, in response to a lawsuit regarding
- 2:56new financial obligations tied to Gillette Stadium's
- 3:00entertainment license. Foxborough's 61 -page
- 3:04counterclaim argues that the companies are contractually
- 3:07bound to cover public safety costs for stadium
- 3:10events, which the town believes should not be
- 3:13passed on to local taxpayers. The lawsuit filed
- 3:17on June 15th accuses Foxboro of unlawfully extracting
- 3:21funds through licensing fees, while the town
- 3:23contends these fees are actually reimbursements
- 3:26required under their lease agreement. Foxboro
- 3:29maintains that it acted appropriately and is
- 3:32committed to public safety while also seeking
- 3:35to recover costs related to this legal matter.
- 3:43Now on to sports. People love to say you can't
- 3:48predict baseball, and here's another chapter
- 3:50in that story. Tyler Tolbert, a major league
- 3:53player, has made history by becoming the first
- 3:56in the expansion era to get a hit in 12 consecutive
- 4:00played appearances, tying the overall major league
- 4:03baseball record. On Tuesday evening in New York,
- 4:07Tolbert hit a two -run home run in the second
- 4:10inning, followed by several singles, culminating
- 4:13in his record -tying hit. He has now raised his
- 4:16batting average from 200 to 396 and has recorded
- 4:21back -to -back five -hit games, joining an exclusive
- 4:24group of players in local sports. The Red Sox
- 4:29stayed hot in Chicago last night, dismantling
- 4:32the White Sox 8 -1. Peyton Tall was dominant
- 4:37on the mound, six innings of two -hit ball with
- 4:40six strikeouts. The bats were relentless, too.
- 4:43Sadon Raffaella and Andrew Monasterio both went
- 4:48yard, while Wilson Contreras and Jaron Duran
- 4:51drove in runs. Boston is now 1 -4 straight, and
- 4:56they're back at rate fields tonight for game
- 4:58two. Jake Fennett takes the mound against Davis
- 5:02Martin with first pitch at 740. The Red Sox are
- 5:07riding an 8 of 10 winning streak, and they've
- 5:09scored 17 runs over their last two series. If
- 5:13they keep that offensive pace going, they'll
- 5:15be in position to sweep tomorrow at 2 -10. Meanwhile,
- 5:20the Bruins made a pair of moves to shape the
- 5:22offseason. They signed goaltender Simon Zajacek
- 5:26to a one -year extension, bolstering depth between
- 5:30the pipes. But the bigger news came last week
- 5:33when Boston acquired top -six right -wing J .J.
- 5:37Peterka from Utah. The 24 -year -old scored 25
- 5:42goals last season and is signed through next
- 5:44year at $7 .7 million. It's a significant investment
- 5:49in the forward group as the B's look to bounce
- 5:51back from their first round exit to Buffalo.
- 5:56In top news, Lionel Messi leads Argentina to
- 6:00a thrilling 3 -2 comeback victory over Egypt,
- 6:04securing a spot in the World Cup quarterfinals.
- 6:07Trailing 2 -0, with 11 minutes remaining, Argentina
- 6:11rallied to win, as Enzo Fernandez cored the decisive
- 6:15goal in stoppage time. Argentina will face Switzerland
- 6:19in the next round on Saturday in Kansas City,
- 6:23Missouri. Messi scored his eighth goal of the
- 6:25tournament, extending his World Cup total to
- 6:2821 goals. Egypt's coach, Hossam Hassan, expressed
- 6:33disbelief at the outcome. feeling his team deserved
- 6:37better. This match adds to Argentina's legacy
- 6:41of dramatic World Cup moments. In business news,
- 6:47Best Buy and Apple have flagged a price shock
- 6:49for shoppers. Apple's Tim Cook raised concerns
- 6:53about unavoidable price increases in June, stating,
- 6:57we're doing everything we can to mitigate the
- 7:00huge increases being passed on to us. The global
- 7:03shortage of memory chips is to blame, affecting
- 7:06nearly every computing device sold today. Cook
- 7:10described the situation as the 100 -year flood,
- 7:13indicating higher prices for consumers across
- 7:16the board. Best Buy's outgoing CEO, Cory Berry,
- 7:21noted that typical purchasing trends are not
- 7:23occurring. Despite upcoming price increases,
- 7:27Berry reported, We are not seeing any indicators
- 7:30that would say the customer is pulling forward
- 7:32purchases. Consumers are showing caution in spending,
- 7:36with reports indicating rising pessimism about
- 7:39the economy. In crypto movement, Bitcoin is down
- 7:441 % to about $63 ,000. Ethereum is down 1 % to
- 7:50about $1 ,700. And XRP is down 3 % to $1 .09.

- 8:43back to the show. Let's talk tech. Meta has just
- 8:49launched a new artificial intelligence generator,
- 8:52Muse Image, and users are already expressing
- 8:55concerns over the use of their photos. Unveiled
- 8:59on Tuesday, MIA's image is available for free
- 9:01through the Meta Artificial Intelligence app,
- 9:04as well as on Instagram Stories and WhatsApp.
- 9:08Controversially, this feature allows users to
- 9:10manipulate images of others, provided their profiles
- 9:14are public. One user remarked, pulling real users
- 9:18into generated photos without explicit consent
- 9:21is a privacy landmine waiting to detonate. Despite
- 9:25concerns, MetaClaims users have control and can
- 9:29disable this feature. Muse also offers various
- 9:32applications, including custom ads and prompt
- 9:36-based image editing. And in entertainment news,
- 9:43Robert Pattinson has learned you either die in
- 9:45Edward or you live long enough to see yourself
- 9:48become the Jacob. While discussing his character
- 9:52Antonis in The Odyssey, The actor compared the
- 9:55role in the Christopher Nolan helmed movie to
- 9:57Taylor Lautner's Jacob in the Twilight movie
- 10:00franchise. He stated, I think they will be rooting
- 10:03for him. I keep comparing it. It's kind of like
- 10:06Jacob in Twilight. Pattinson added, what the
- 10:10Odyssey is about. Penelope just can't make her
- 10:14mind up between the two guys. And I'm just trying
- 10:17to help her make a decision. The film follows
- 10:20Odysseus through incredible trials on his journey
- 10:23home to wife Penelope and son Telemachus. Well,
- 10:27all righty, folks. It's time for the quote of
- 10:30the day. And today, our quote comes from the
- 10:34American science fiction author Philip K. Dick.
- 10:38And he said, reality is that which, when you
- 10:42stop believing in it, doesn't go away. And that's
- 10:46a wrap for this morning. You can check out our
- 10:49Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok for some captivating
- 10:53aerial videos with local news and the weather
- 10:57reports. Have an amazing day, my good friends.
