  We thank you that you woke us up today, that you put us on our

  feet. You gave us another opportunity

  to come into fellowship with you God, to come and dine and Sup
• 0:26
  with you. Father, I pray in the name of
• 0:29
  Jesus for us supernatural understanding.
• 0:32
  God, stir the zeal in this house.
• 0:34
  God, I pray in the name of Jesus for healing from on high.
• 0:38
  Let your healing come, Father. Heal our broken bodies, Lord,
• 0:43
  Heal our cancers and all of our infirmities, God.
• 0:47
  Heal diabetes in the name of Jesus.
• 0:50
  God, Reverse heart disease, God. Reverse Alzheimer's and
• 0:54
  dementia. Lord, I pray that you'll
• 0:57
  stabilize the blood sugar and the glucose.
• 0:59
  God, I pray in the name of Jesus that you'll make us whole.

  Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus, Lord, that you'll get rid
• 1:06
  of all of the infection. Father, I pray in the name of
• 1:10
  Jesus that it'll be you and you alone, Lord, that get all the
• 1:13
  glory and all the honor. Father, we are here for you.

  Lord, we love you, we serve you. You are the King of kings and
• 1:24
  the Lord of Lords. You are our everything, and we
• 1:28
  worship you today in spirit and truth.

  Father, you are the only uncreated, you are the Most high
• 1:36
  God. El Elyon, El Shaddai, you are
• 1:41
  Jehovah Rafa, Jehovah Nisi. You are the banner, you are the
• 1:44
  healer, you are the provider. You are the God who sees.

  You are with us. Emmanuel, we love you.

  Thank you for coming. Thank you, Lord, for being here

  with us and showing us the way, showing us Christ, showing us
• 2:00
  the truth. Father, we love everything about
• 2:04
  you. Holy Spirit.

  I decrease as you increase and it's in your holy and precious
• 2:18
  name that I pray Amen. Well, let's start in verse one,
• 2:24
  Simon Peter, a servant, an apostle of Jesus Christ to them
• 2:30
  that have obtained like precious faith with us through the
• 2:35
  righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ.
• 2:39
  Have you obtained this preciousness?
• 2:41
  Is Jesus precious to you? Simon Peter, He goes all the way
• 2:46
  back to his original name before Christ gave him the rock name
• 2:51
  and he told him that he was going to build the church upon
• 2:54
  it. And here Simon recounts his
• 2:58
  beginning, where he came from. He doesn't think of himself as
• 3:02
  some super apostle. He knows who he is in Christ
• 3:07
  Jesus and so should we. If he is precious to you,
• 3:11
  friends, it proves that you are with him and you have fellowship
• 3:14
  with him. If he is not precious to you,
• 3:18
  then there is a great concern to grace and peace be multiplied to
• 3:25
  you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
• 3:30
  So this grace and this peace, this is what we are after.
• 3:34
  We need the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ because we cannot
• 3:38
  behave our way into heaven. We could never be good enough to
• 3:42
  get there. And it is only by understanding
• 3:45
  that all of our sins that we've ever committed, are committing,
• 3:49
  or will commit are under the blood of Jesus Christ.
• 3:52
  And we didn't deserve eternal life.
• 3:54
  We deserved to be eternally separated from him.
• 3:58
  But because of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and His
• 4:02
  perfect life and His perfection and His sinlessness, and because
• 4:07
  of what He did on the cross at Calvary, we can experience
• 4:11
  eternal life both here and forever more.
• 4:15
  And this peace only comes from a right relationship with God
• 4:19
  Almighty through His Son Jesus Christ.
• 4:22
  Verse 3. According as His divine power
• 4:26
  has given unto us all things that pertain to life and
• 4:30
  godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to
• 4:34
  glory and virtue, we can go from glory to glory, friends.
• 4:41
  We can be enveloped and wrapped in the glory of God when we are
• 4:45
  in a right relationship with Him.
• 4:47
  And God showers us with His presence and He gives us these
• 4:53
  divine nudgings and He speaks to us loudly and boldly through His
• 4:57
  word. And we can live this life on
• 5:00
  purpose and we don't have to squander our inheritance.
• 5:03
  We don't have to miss the mark. We can know that we know that we
• 5:07
  know that we know that God is well pleased with us by being
• 5:11
  cloaked and clothed and wrapped and enveloped by the blood of
• 5:15
  Jesus Christ. And that is the only way that we
• 5:18
  can be holy friends, because he is holy.
• 5:22
  Verse 4 whereby are given unto us exceedingly great and
• 5:27
  precious promises, that by these you might be partakers of the
• 5:35
  divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the
• 5:40
  world through lust, he says you might.
• 5:45
  Here's the thing about it, friends.
• 5:46
  There's a lot of people who have a false sense of salvation and
• 5:51
  that is the reality. And that is not fear mongering
• 5:56
  and that is not getting somebody to doubt where they stand with
• 5:59
  God Almighty. Because you can have supreme
• 6:02
  confidence, you can have the blessed assurance and it is by
• 6:08
  knowing that you know Him and you are known by Him.
• 6:13
  It is by completely yielding your entire members every single
• 6:18
  moment of every single day over to him.
• 6:21
  You don't get to check out. You don't get to
• 6:24
  compartmentalize. You don't have a Sunday you and
• 6:27
  a Saturday night you. Friends, it doesn't work that
• 6:30
  way. We must come up under the blood
• 6:33
  of Jesus Christ. And it doesn't mean that you
• 6:36
  won't mess up because you will, friends, but the people who say
• 6:42
  Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your names and we cast up demons
• 6:46
  in your name. We perform miracles in your
• 6:48
  name. And he says, depart from me, for
• 6:51
  I never knew you. This should be the verse that
• 6:59
  keeps us up at night, friends. We should be those who have
• 7:03
  counted the cost and found that he's worthy of 24 hour a day,
• 7:09
  seven day a week, 365 days a year, times however many years
• 7:15
  you have left on this earth, friends, to be completely sold
• 7:20
  out to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
• 7:23
  And we don't get to just have these seasons of sin, friends.
• 7:27
  We don't get to just fall back into the carnal, fleshy, lustful
• 7:32
  desires. Friends, if He is precious to
• 7:36
  you, you will know it and you will love Him with your whole
• 7:39
  heart, and you will escape the corruption that's in the world.
• 7:44
  All this lust and it is prevalent and it is cancerous
• 7:48
  and it is eating away at the bones and the health of the
• 7:53
  Church of God. Verse 5.
• 7:56
  And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith
• 7:59
  virtue and to virtue knowledge. We need virtue.
• 8:05
  We need to be courageous right now, at this time, at such a
• 8:09
  time as this. Friends, we do not need to
• 8:11
  shrink back. We do not need to be cowards.
• 8:14
  Friends, we do not need to be those that stay silent on the
• 8:18
  issues that are important to God.
• 8:20
  We need this virtue. We need courageous men and women
• 8:24
  to speak up in the face of the evil that is organized in this
• 8:28
  world. Friends, we do not need to be
• 8:31
  those who are on the sidelines, friends allowing things to just
• 8:36
  get worse and worse so that he'll come and pick us up from
• 8:39
  this party that we're at. Friends, we need to be those
• 8:42
  that are on the front lines. We need to be those that are
• 8:45
  pushing God. We need to be those that are
• 8:48
  propagating the word of God out to the masses everywhere because
• 8:53
  you do not know who belongs to him and who does not.
• 8:56
  We just spread the seed. We just go out into the harvest.
• 9:00
  We are the ones who are the difference makers.
• 9:03
  We're the peacemakers, friends. We are the ones that are called
• 9:07
  out of this world and we are the answer.
• 9:11
  Jesus Christ through us and He wants to share the good news of
• 9:16
  what He did on the cross and the forgiveness of sins.
• 9:19
  The peace of God that is available to every person who
• 9:22
  will believe and put their full faith and trust in our Lord
• 9:27
  Jesus Christ and admit that He is God.
• 9:30
  Admit that He is the only way. 6 And to knowledge temperance, and
• 9:38
  to temperance patience, and to patience godliness.
• 9:43
  So this is a building block. And it all started back there
• 9:47
  from this virtue that he became precious to us and we became a
• 9:53
  partaker of his nature. We escaped the corruption of the
• 9:57
  world and all the lust that's in it.
• 9:59
  And then with this we had diligence, and then we have
• 10:03
  faith and virtue and virtues, temperance.
• 10:06
  And temperance leads to godliness 7 and to godliness,
• 10:10
  brotherly kindness and to brotherly kindness.
• 10:14
  Charity. Charity is the trump card of it
• 10:16
  all. It's the top layer.
• 10:18
  It's the cherry on the top, friends.
• 10:20
  And you know, you need to know that this charity is the agape
• 10:24
  love. It's love in action.
• 10:26
  It's not just love in Word, but it's actually love in deed.
• 10:32
  It's Love Actually being fleshed out, friends.
• 10:36
  It's putting feet to the love that we say that we have
• 10:40
  friends. For if these things be in you
• 10:46
  and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor
• 10:52
  unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• 10:56
  So we should grow in maturation. We should grow in our
• 11:00
  relationship with Him. We cannot just stay baby
• 11:03
  Christians for the rest of our lives with these popcorn
• 11:06
  prayers. We cannot just be those that
• 11:09
  refuse to grow in Christ. We must continue to to add on to
• 11:14
  this knowledge of who He is, and it's all written for us here in
• 11:19
  the Lamb's book of life. Whenever we are searching the
• 11:22
  Scriptures diligently, whenever we are actually laying precept
• 11:28
  on precept in line online, when we're actually allowing the Word
• 11:32
  of God to be the greatest commentary on the Word of God.
• 11:37
  Whenever Scripture interprets Scripture.
• 11:40
  And we could spend 20,000 lifetimes studying this book and
• 11:45
  never touch the bottom. It is inexhaustible, friends.
• 11:49
  It is alive and it is active. And we continue to search it day
• 11:53
  after day after day, knowing that he has jewels, knowing that
• 11:57
  he has gold, knowing that he has diamonds that we unearth and we
• 12:02
  can take with us into eternity. And do not store up for
• 12:06
  yourselves treasures here on this earth, but send them ahead,
• 12:10
  friends, where moth and rust and thieves do not destroy and break
• 12:14
  in verse 9. But he that lacks these things
• 12:20
  is blind and cannot see far off, and has forgotten that he was
• 12:27
  purged from his old sins. Have you been purged from all of
• 12:33
  your old sins? Have you put off the old man?
• 12:38
  Have you put on the righteousness of Christ?
• 12:41
  Do not be those that commit the sin of forgetfulness.
• 12:45
  There are many who have walked in the light, who have had
• 12:50
  fellowship with the Holy Spirit and they've tucked tail and
• 12:53
  turned back because they realized that Jesus wasn't who
• 12:57
  they thought He was. This genie in a bottle who was
• 12:59
  going to give them all their wishes and who was going to
• 13:02
  remove the disease and somebody who was going to heal their
• 13:08
  marriage or bring their kids back.
• 13:10
  And when Jesus did not, they got offended and fell away.
• 13:14
  There are many who have church hurt friends.
• 13:18
  They got into fellowship with a church that was broken and had
• 13:21
  leadership that was tearing each other apart like sharks in a
• 13:26
  tank, friends. And they fell away because they
• 13:30
  realized that God wasn't even in that place and put a stain upon
• 13:36
  religion for them and they do not even want any part of it.
• 13:40
  There are many who have fellowship and even taken in
• 13:44
  communion and fallen away. And this is the greatest tragedy
• 13:53
  is when those they have come to the door, they have come all the
• 13:57
  way and they fall back and there is no more salvation for those
• 14:05
  apart from Jesus Christ. He is the only way.
• 14:08
  But the greatest news is that if you woke up today, he's not done
• 14:12
  with you. And you can make it right with
• 14:14
  him today by putting your full faith and trust in Jesus Christ
• 14:19
  and believing that Jesus is the Son of God and that God raised
• 14:23
  him up and he's seated at the right hand of God.
• 14:28
  Verse 10 Wherefore the rather brothers give diligence to make
• 14:32
  your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you
• 14:39
  shall never fall. That is Our Calling, to make
• 14:44
  sure that your election and your calling is sure.
• 14:50
  You're calling an election, must be sure within your own mind,
• 14:56
  within your own recesses of your own self.
• 14:58
  Friends in the silent times, in the darkest days, You must know
• 15:04
  that you know that you know that you know that you know that you
• 15:07
  know that you are his and he is yours and you have fellowship
• 15:11
  with him. And this is not a game and this
• 15:14
  is not just some scheme to get rich.
• 15:17
  This is not just some scheme to Lord over people.
• 15:20
  This is not just religion, friends.
• 15:23
  This is having a relationship with God Almighty through His
• 15:27
  Son Jesus Christ and knowing that He speaks to you and He
• 15:32
  speaks to us through His word and He speaks to us in the
• 15:36
  silence. He speaks to us in a still,
• 15:38
  small voice. And you need to know that you
• 15:41
  know that He is with you and He is for you.
• 15:47
  And if you don't know that, put your full faith in Him today and
• 15:51
  quit playing games. Quit being lukewarm.
• 15:57
  Quit trying to play both sides. Make a decision for Him today,
• 16:01
  and watch how He comes near to you and speaks to you and
• 16:06
  confirms His presence in your life. 11 For so an entrance
• 16:13
  shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting
• 16:19
  Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
• 16:23
  That is what we should press for, friends.
• 16:25
  That is what we yearn for, friends.
• 16:28
  There will be some that enter into heaven as if they escaped
• 16:31
  out of a fire, and there are some that'll come in to heaven
• 16:38
  and they will have this grand entrance that is spoken of here.
• 16:42
  I pray that you count the cost and you spend the rest of your
• 16:47
  days, no matter how long that is, here on this earth.
• 16:51
  You spend the rest of your days in full service unto the king,
• 16:57
  not checking out, not compartmentalizing, not trying
• 17:01
  to play both sides. 12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put
• 17:09
  you always in remembrance of these things, though you know
• 17:15
  them and be established in the present truth.
• 17:19
  So we have access to the Word of God.
• 17:23
  We have no excuse. All of creation proclaims His
• 17:26
  name. But here Peter is saying that he
• 17:30
  will not be negligent, and neither should we.
• 17:33
  To stir people up to remembrance of who it is that we serve and
• 17:38
  who it is that came as a little baby and lived a perfect life
• 17:43
  and died on a criminal's cross so that we could be made right
• 17:47
  with God and be at one with God and have forgiveness of sins.
• 17:51
  And it's available to anyone who will place their full faith and
• 17:56
  trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. 13 Yeah, I think it meet as long
• 18:05
  as I am in this Tabernacle to stir you up by putting you in
• 18:10
  remembrance. Yes, it is becoming of a St. to
• 18:15
  always stir people up and the life that you live is being
• 18:20
  watched. People are observing.
• 18:23
  If you say one thing and do another, people are watching you
• 18:29
  and the life that you live should be convicting to those
• 18:34
  who have once tasted and seen and fallen away.
• 18:37
  You should stir them back up into remembrance of their first
• 18:42
  love. 14 knowing that shortly I must put off my Tabernacle, even
• 18:52
  as our Lord Jesus Christ has showed me.
• 18:55
  So Peter had some kind of special divine revelation.
• 18:59
  Jesus Christ visited him and told him how he would suffer and
• 19:04
  die, and here Peter is recounting that.
• 19:09
  And we all must put off this fleshy, carnal Tabernacle, this
• 19:13
  body that you and I are in, that is fading away fast.
• 19:19
  And we must put on the immortal and the incorruptible, and we
• 19:23
  must put on our heavenly body so that we can be with Him forever
• 19:28
  and ever and ever and ever. Friends, everlasting, the
• 19:34
  everlasting, we shall be in fellowship with Jesus Christ.
• 19:38
  And you can start that here. And now you only have 120 years
• 19:43
  at best to figure it out. 15. Moreover, I will endeavor that
• 19:51
  you may be able after my decease to have these things always in
• 19:58
  remembrance. So Peter is saying once I'm long
• 20:00
  gone, you will have these words to go back to and to search and
• 20:05
  to actually. Stir you back up into a right
• 20:09
  relationship with God Almighty. And Peter had it.
• 20:13
  Even though He had denied our Lord three times, He made it
• 20:16
  right. He was reinstituted back into
• 20:20
  the faith and we need to every single day for the rest of our
• 20:25
  lives. We need to give our lives over
• 20:27
  to Him. It is not just a once and done
• 20:29
  friends, This is an everyday renewal.
• 20:33
  We come back to the cross of Christ and we lay all of our
• 20:36
  burdens, we lay all of our sins, we lay all of our self at the
• 20:41
  foot of the cross and we refuse to pick it back up.
• 20:44
  We refuse to carry all that baggage around.
• 20:47
  We can be free, we can be light, we can be made whole and we
• 20:53
  don't have to be identified with the sins in our lives, friends.
• 20:58
  We can have fellowship with Him by confessing it all and by
• 21:02
  giving it all to Him and by acknowledging His supremacy and
• 21:07
  by putting our full faith in Him every single day, every moment
• 21:12
  of every single day. You cannot be autonomous.
• 21:15
  You don't get to just be your own boss.
• 21:18
  You don't get to just call the shots.
• 21:20
  You must acknowledge him in every single second of every
• 21:24
  single day, friends. And this is what it take to have
• 21:28
  fellowship with him. 16 For we have not followed cunningly
• 21:38
  devised fables, when we made known to you the power and
• 21:48
  coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His
• 21:53
  Majesty. So here Peter actually got to
• 21:57
  fellowship with God in the flesh, Jesus Christ.
• 22:01
  He was there on the Mount of Transfiguration.
• 22:05
  He was there when the miracles were being wrought.
• 22:07
  He was there eating meals with him and sleeping in the same
• 22:11
  vicinity with him. He was with God Almighty in
• 22:17
  human form as Jesus Christ. Imagine that he's saying these
• 22:22
  are not just fairy tales. This is not just some feel good
• 22:26
  guru teaching that helps you along the way along the path.
• 22:31
  We are not our own gods. We don't get to be those that
• 22:35
  call the shots. We must surrender.
• 22:38
  We must come up under the yoke. We must come up under the
• 22:43
  lordship of Jesus Christ and he's saying, don't think that
• 22:47
  this is just some self help book friends.
• 22:50
  This is God breathed, the Creator of everything seen and
• 22:56
  unseen, and we get to know him and to be known by him. 17 For
• 23:03
  he received from God the Father honor glory, when there came
• 23:10
  such a voice to him from the excellent glory.
• 23:15
  This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.
• 23:19
  So on the Mount of Transfiguration, Peter couldn't
• 23:22
  keep his mouth shut. He didn't know what to say.
• 23:25
  And he said, we should build some booths for you and Moses
• 23:29
  and Elijah. And then God had to correct him
• 23:32
  and say, this is my son, listen to him.
• 23:36
  And here Peter is recounting that moment, this glory, where
• 23:41
  Jesus was shining brighter than anything on this earth, and He
• 23:47
  was revealing the glory that was within Him.
• 23:50
  Friends. 18 In this voice which came from heaven, we heard when
• 23:58
  we were with Him on the holy Mount. 19 We have also a more
• 24:04
  sure word of prophecy, Where, until you do well, that you take
• 24:08
  heed as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day
• 24:13
  dawns, and the day star arise in your hearts, Has that day Star
• 24:18
  risen in your heart? Friends, do you know him?
• 24:23
  Is He precious to you in this world that's going by the
• 24:28
  wayside every day? It's wearing out like a piece of
• 24:31
  clothing. Friends, you need to know that
• 24:34
  the glory that Jesus has, He can impute into you and you can
• 24:39
  start to live out the life that is meaningful and purposeful
• 24:45
  right now and right here and today.
• 24:47
  You don't have to wait for this time.
• 24:50
  He can bring heaven to earth just as it is there, friends,
• 24:54
  and one day we will know Him, and we will be fully known by
• 24:57
  Him, and we will see Him, and we just see it in part in dimly and
• 25:02
  darkly now, but we will see in the fullness, in the whole, and
• 25:05
  that is what we press towards, friends.
• 25:08
  But He can start allowing you to live it out now, and we can have
• 25:15
  a more sure word of prophecy by knowing that He is in us and we
• 25:22
  are in Him, 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of
• 25:26
  Scripture is of any private interpretation.
• 25:30
  So He gave us this full counsel from Genesis to Revelation, and
• 25:35
  we don't have a corner on anything.
• 25:37
  We don't get to usurp authority over anybody.
• 25:41
  This is available to anybody, the deaf, dumb, and the blind,
• 25:45
  those that with a limited intellect, friends, This is
• 25:49
  available to the most learned man, to the most scrupulous
• 25:53
  person. We can share it with every
• 25:57
  single person and it is relevant and it is accessible.
• 26:03
  Friends, we'll end on 21. For the prophecy came not in old
• 26:09
  time by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they
• 26:15
  were moved by the Holy Ghost. So all of Scripture is God
• 26:20
  breathed. All of Scripture is divinely
• 26:23
  inspired. The Holy Spirit would come upon
• 26:28
  these men and they would pin these words and this is God's
• 26:31
  words. These are not men's ideas.
• 26:36
  Man could never write the Bible if he wanted to, and even if he
• 26:40
  wanted to, he wouldn't write it for hens.
• 26:43
  There are so many stories in the Bible that are self condemning.
• 26:51
  There are so many stories that the author of that book would
• 26:55
  not write it about themselves, friends.
• 26:57
  It proves that this is God's book written by man, friends,
• 27:02
  and it is just like Jesus Christ, fully man and fully God,
• 27:05
  and He loves us. He loves His creation.
• 27:08
  We are His masterpiece made in His image, and He desires a
• 27:13
  relationship with you, friend. Far be it from us to hold back
• 27:19
  this Koinonia from God who desires a relationship with you
• 27:24
  and He desires a conversation with you.
• 27:28
  Give Him His glory today. Converse with Him in the secret
• 27:32
  place. Tell everybody you know about
• 27:35
  what He has done for you. I hope you've been blessed by
• 27:38
  this amazing chapter in God's Word.
• 27:41
  I know I sure have. I'm praying for you.

  I love you, God loves you. It's not a game.

  This is reality. It's more real than the shoes on
• 28:21
  your feet. Give Him His due honor and
• 28:29
  glory. Let Him shine through you

  through your life. Get rid of anything in your life
• 28:38
  that is not of Him and from Him and to Him and by Him.

  He is worthy. Worthy is the Lamb.

  Keep searching. The Scriptures never gets old.
