- 9:12[SPEAKER_16]: All mayor.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_16]: Did you see the school budget?
- 9:15[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, why not?
- 9:17[SPEAKER_16]: How can the school budget be more than a city budget?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_20]: It's about twice, really.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_16]: 50 million dollars.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_16]: uh... i can remember the days when the city budget was more why would think it would be more fifty million dollars more than the city budget and doctor schmigo wants to her five new positions did you read the positions what are they the son like book kits and positions i have never heard of them resources and uh... i don't know how much that's going to cost us there's no equity officers are there anything like that
- 9:54[SPEAKER_17]: on the uh... he loves the uh... just a moment he can't come out in his show of course uh... here's the guy how can a guy make in the money he makes relate to me i never made two hundred thousand dollars in my life working a job a guy that's got a taxpayer vehicle this is not more to worry it's more to tell me or and the raise our taxes to eight million dollars from my chair is outrageous you can hire people and raise taxes
- 10:25[SPEAKER_20]: Well, he apparently thinks he can't.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_17]: He saw it.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_17]: Listen to this man, a resource teacher and a structural coach at Middle-Station King turned.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_17]: Does that remember you run your Congress?
- 10:40[SPEAKER_20]: Exactly.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_17]: Turned.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_17]: Immediately part this ship and strategic communicators back to us.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_17]: What the hell is that about?
- 10:51[SPEAKER_20]: I doubt he even knows.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_17]: And the budget they got $16 million in the reserve fund mayor Well, that that's a pretty good amount, but But it's supposed to be 4% of your operating budget.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_17]: It's not supposed to be 16 million dollars The state copper or where the hell's the state copper or card this school through the million and the reserve fund.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_20]: Wow
- 11:26[SPEAKER_17]: We'll know you're talking about being over taxed.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_20]: But you see these school districts, there's no scrutiny.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_20]: Most people don't know what's spent.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_20]: And the school board apparently approved this budget now goes to the voters.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_20]: And the 5% of district.
- 11:42[UNKNOWN]: It's super tempting, gotta pay raise, not long ago.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_20]: Or a percent, yeah.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_17]: But how can you live on 200,000 living in this city?
- 11:51[SPEAKER_17]: This is outrageous, Mayor.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_17]: It's gonna raise our taxes under a two-and-a-a-half percent on the baby buddy's pocket living in the city Uh-huh You can't hire people at this time And if there's a garbage pick up mayor Uh-huh You can use that that city employees are sabotaging The city manager said you're wrong And I don't know why would they sabotage the garbage pick up during water dollar Well, I think councilman Schoen said that
- 12:23[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I said they were, you know, I think in essence, they are by all of a sudden declaring that the debate.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_20]: Look at, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's,
- 12:53[SPEAKER_17]: I'm in favor of it.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_20]: I'd love to see it.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_20]: I want to see it expanded.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_20]: I want to see his grab market share.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_17]: What's the point of a city employee sabotaging it?
- 13:06[SPEAKER_20]: Have you ever seen anybody come on the hotline or call in from the city and explain how it works?
- 13:12[SPEAKER_17]: What city manager says you're not right on that mayor?
- 13:16[SPEAKER_17]: It doesn't make any sense.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_17]: What's the point of that?
- 13:19[SPEAKER_17]: Why would you want to sabotage it?
- 13:21[SPEAKER_20]: Oh wait a minute.
- 13:22[UNKNOWN]: Wait.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_17]: did he pick up makes money and he say that I was wrong or that or that well if you've said it was sabotage by city employees I don't understand why when they say it's
- 13:40[SPEAKER_20]: I'm saying that my understanding from talking to city employees is that senior management has never wanted to continue the trash service and has a sort of a ambivalent attitude towards it and they're happy.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_20]: I think they're happy that they got less market share because now they can justify getting rid of it.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_20]: I think they want to get rid of it.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_17]: What?
- 14:02[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I don't know.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_17]: I asked them.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_20]: I think it should continue.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_17]: No.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_17]: No.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_17]: I heard you say it on the hall.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_17]: All right.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_17]: You didn't say it.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_17]: I heard you say it.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_17]: Okay.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_17]: I heard you say it.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_17]: I heard you say it.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_17]: You're rolling on it.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_17]: There's also the staff trying to kill the garbage pick up.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_17]: Did he say it?
- 14:25[SPEAKER_20]: The garbage pick up.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_20]: He said I was wrong or shown was wrong.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_20]: I heard you say it on the shore.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_20]: I know.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_20]: I've read in the picture.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_17]: He said there's no city stand trying to kill the guard to track pick up.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_20]: Why are we doing handling it this way?
- 14:46[SPEAKER_20]: We come out with a budget and then we drop these little things and they're like, let's get rid of that, let's get rid of this.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_20]: It seems rather haphazard.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_17]: Why does the trash pick up activate money?
- 14:57[SPEAKER_20]: It doesn't.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_17]: Does everything have to make money here?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_20]: No.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_17]: I'm not paying the hall or the pick like garbage, and somewhere inside a little pickin'.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_17]: Put it out, I'm gonna be charged for it.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_17]: Mm-hmm.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_17]: I don't have any trouble with the city, D.P.W.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_17]: They don't go to job.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_20]: I don't either.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_17]: They've got Mr. Shows on top of it.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_20]: Mm-hmm.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_17]: Things you can cut, but that's the service we need and watered down.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_17]: You've got to cut people and we're not going to do it.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_17]: Just like Dr. Schmekel, all we can't cut anybody because they're taking things away from the school system.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_17]: We're not in your income bracket, Dr.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_17]: I don't make you on the top of the year.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_17]: Running a school.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_17]: The biggest decision.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_17]: There's a job where you can stop.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_17]: You can stay home.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_17]: They will never job like that.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_17]: These are guy with a taxpayer vehicle driving around town.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_17]: Are you kidding me?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_17]: Totally out of start to the average person.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_17]: Uh-huh.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_17]: From up with another attack point.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_17]: The cable attacks like the electricity nature agreed.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_17]: Uh-huh.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_17]: From up with it, Mayor.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_20]: I haven't got the money.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_20]: They don't care.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_17]: I know it.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_17]: Common sense, if you can't afford it, you can't pay for it.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_17]: And the story.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_17]: Thanks for listening, Mayor.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_20]: Well, thanks for calling.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_20]: Yep, bye now.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_20]: All right.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_20]: Good afternoon, Ron.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_19]: Hello, Jeffrey Graham.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_20]: This is gun nut.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_20]: All right.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_19]: Good.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_19]: How are you doing, buddy?
- 16:46[SPEAKER_20]: Good.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_19]: Feeling good?
- 16:49[SPEAKER_19]: I, I, I can angry, man.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_19]: I.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_19]: You know, I had one thing to add.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know if angry man has heard about this, but there's a bill in Albany now to give a $900 tax break to people who have dogs.
- 17:09[UNKNOWN]: Really?
- 17:10[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_19]: If you have a dog, it's $900 with dogs.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_19]: It's proposed, hasn't passed yet.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_19]: But it's kind of interesting that, you know,
- 17:22[SPEAKER_19]: We pay for their fuel and their cars and their electricity and their heat and everything else.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_19]: Now we're going to pay for their dogs.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_20]: Well, you know, Governor Hoco says she wants, you know, she wants these rich people who own second homes.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_20]: He says, if you can afford a $5 million second home, you can pay an additional search urge.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_20]: Now, not realizing that the person who owns that second home is paying property taxes on it.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_20]: So if you're living Manhattan and have a nice summer home on the St. Lawrence, she wants an additional search urge, because her body mom Domny says, we're going to tax the ultra wealthy and globally elites.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_20]: You know who those people are?
- 18:04[SPEAKER_20]: Us.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_20]: when they say that when they say electric builds have to have an 11% sale stacks for small business versus 3% for residential what hopeful and mom down here saying is that small business people who are struggling are ultra elites and i'm sick of hearing it governor you're so out of touch and that other got out unfortunately the guy running against his i don't know a cipher really
- 18:38[SPEAKER_19]: not a lot of me done Danny was telling us that this mandami thing had nothing to do with us he does that a lot when the democratic party embarrasses itself but he said that's not from the do with it this mandami has nothing to do with it watered down the earth it's already started Danny this guy is pushing the goves the goves like every taxes is mm-hmm
- 19:06[SPEAKER_20]: Well, you know, gunnut, a week ago, the people, all these people would be saying Eric Swallwell is a great guy, he's a wonderful, now where do you think of him?
- 19:19[SPEAKER_19]: Well, you know, I mean, we have no problem with crux running our government, we have no problem with it.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, but he said you got to listen to the women.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_19]: that you know the Danny's offer we hate Trump you know it doesn't matter what it is whether it's it doesn't matter what the what the subject what the what the issue is you have to hate Trump first you know this thing in Iran I think it was action that had to be taken but you know I mean who knows I don't know whether they have
- 20:09[SPEAKER_19]: When all you do is hate Trump, and then you wonder why people think you're a crap pot.
- 20:18[UNKNOWN]: There's the rules.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_20]: The country's full of crap pot, right?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_20]: You know, one great thing when you're talking about schools.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_20]: And I did see a story this morning.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_20]: There was a principal, and he was an older gentleman kind of kind of a big guy.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_20]: But clearly in the 60s, he was a principal of the school.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_20]: Some punk came into the school.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_20]: And it was packing.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_20]: It was planning a column buying type thing.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_20]: And this principle, you know, tackled them, wrestled the gun away and saved lives.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_20]: That's what we want in our school officials.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_20]: Not some, yeah, if feet snubs driving around in Ucons.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_19]: Well, that's what we wanted.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_19]: We wanted the Ucons boy.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_19]: We got him.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_19]: You know, 200,000, you know, of
- 21:05[SPEAKER_19]: The problem is not this fruit cake run in water count schools.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_19]: The problem is this fruit cake has dozens of other people who are making a hundred ten hundred twenty, you know, they might not be making two hundred but they're doing pretty good.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_19]: And you know, there's an army of administrators involved with our schools and we seem to like it.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I was reading a story about the office of cannabis administration was holding some public hearing.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_20]: And one of the people that was quoted was their chief equity officer.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_20]: What the hell is that?
- 21:46[SPEAKER_20]: They're selling dope.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_20]: They're selling dope.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_20]: There's no equity in that.
- 21:52[UNKNOWN]: That's New York.
- 21:54[UNKNOWN]: That's what we want.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_15]: And if it wasn't such a pretty place to live, I love the water up here.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_20]: I got it I got to go because I got to get a commercial in here, but it's good to hear from you, Gary, and I don't know who all those people are who hate you on the internet, but you must be doing a good job Yeah, you know that you can do in the right thing.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_19]: It's pretty simple, you know These people hate Trump and that's all they are.

- 25:08[SPEAKER_35]: Of course, as you hear this, you might be thinking foster care sounds like a pretty big responsibility, but it also sounds like laughter and love.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_35]: It can sound like taking a child to their first game.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_35]: Or making memories together as you bake cookies.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_35]: Sadly, it can also sound like showing kids things they've never seen before.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_35]: Whoa!
- 25:32[SPEAKER_35]: At CHJC, we know that being a foster parent may take a little work.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_35]: But there's a reward in every smile.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_35]: You can be the difference that could change a child's life for the better forever.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_35]: If you're ready to get involved, visit CHJC.org to get started.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_24]: Around the corner, around the continent, around the clock.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_24]: This is the news in talk authority, AM-1240.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_20]: W-A-T-N. Now we're back in the hotline got some text here.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_20]: One from says angry man, love him.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_20]: give a review of the cleaning.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, the new cleaning lady at my, she did a wonderful job.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_20]: Not just, it didn't just, you know, mop the floor, we got down and cleaned up around the edges of the baseboard, actually moved it shared, you know, sweep under it and that kind of stuff.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_20]: So yeah, to excellent job and look forward to her coming back, not too long from now.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_20]: So no problem there, if you need the name, I can do it.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_20]: Well, she's booked up.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_25]: uh... let's see what else uh... millie sexually calling in hello and uh... go ahead millie how are you good how are you get your petitions in uh... not yet i'm going to but i've been listening and i guess there's a lot of uh... conversation about the uh... budget uh...
- 27:05[SPEAKER_25]: So I went to the meeting last night to listen to the presentation and, you know, honestly, he could have, Larry likes to hear himself talk, so he spoke for, I don't even know, longer than an hour, maybe an hour and a half, which is like a lot of words, and just literally, just intimidating the community, and saying that, alluding to the fact that it's just
- 27:36[SPEAKER_25]: And I got up there and of course they cut me off at three minutes, but I basically said what about cutting expenses?
- 27:44[SPEAKER_25]: They're looking, they're want to increase the budget by $8.3 million, a 2.5% tax levy.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_25]: They are adding administrative personnel, which is ridiculous, they want to add a administrative intern.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_25]: the school software programs from school tools to focus which is a program that he used in in key west and Florida it's not even used in New York state it's not supported by both these so he would have to implement an entire new software system for over $200,000 and that doesn't include all of the training and the time and billy there's no stopping him the school board doesn't care they approved that's what that's exactly what I said
- 28:34[SPEAKER_25]: You know, it's time to stop the school.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_25]: It's no, there makes no sense to be mad at this guy anymore.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_25]: He's doing whatever he wants because we have a school board, maturity that allows him to do.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_25]: The board president caught me off and banged his hammer because I wanted to speak a minute longer and finish my thought.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_25]: It was the most ridiculous and insulting thing.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_25]: It's going to come back and bite him when he tries to run.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_25]: that the state man's aid team to have special ed.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_25]: We are mandated to have special education classes, yes.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_25]: But not U.P.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_25]: K. And he is now, you know, inserted this $1.2 million legacy cost.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_25]: And they admitted yesterday.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_25]: They haven't gotten reimbursed for any of it.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_25]: So we're going to end up eating that up.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_25]: He's still driving around his luxury vehicle.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_25]: They're still van sitting in the, um,
- 29:32[SPEAKER_25]: parking lot there when they're paying thousands of dollars the first student.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_25]: How do I know this?
- 29:36[SPEAKER_25]: Because I have people who come into my office that tell me that they don't use the vans that they call first student and have to wait for first student to transport these kits.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_25]: So, at the end of the day, you know, he's just continually causing financial demise to this community are
- 29:56[SPEAKER_25]: Our city budget is $63 million.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_25]: Do you want our school budget to be $100 and $12 million for what?
- 30:05[SPEAKER_25]: And then he didn't bother to tell anybody how much of the $103 million that he budgeted and was approved by the taxpayers was actually spent.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_25]: He's putting thousands of dollars millions of dollars into reserve accounts.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, but who's the problem, Mr. Smith?
- 30:21[SPEAKER_20]: It's a...
- 30:24[SPEAKER_20]: It doesn't matter because there's going to be a budget for next month.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_20]: That budget will pass because people think, well, it's just a two and a half percent increase.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_20]: Thank you.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_20]: Thank you.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_20]: They don't realize what you're telling you anything about.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_20]: And if you're saying anything about it, say, well, you don't like teachers, if you don't like kids.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_25]: So, well, I don't think that anybody can say that about me, Jeff, honestly, I don't think anyone is going to say that I don't like teachers, I've advocated for teachers.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_25]: from the very beginning and I do have support from a lot of the teachers and I don't think anybody can say that I don't like kids when I don't have any kids in the school system and I dedicate so much time to our district because we have a won't superintendent with a weak board yeah so I'm not afraid to speak up I said this on your show this
- 31:21[SPEAKER_20]: But how do you find somebody?
- 31:23[SPEAKER_20]: Listen, let's say he just decided to leave.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_20]: And how do you find somebody new, or do you really even need somebody?
- 31:32[SPEAKER_20]: You know, who's committed to the notion of lean and mean and cutting?
- 31:37[SPEAKER_20]: You're not going to find that.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_25]: No, that's not true.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_25]: And you know, this is a notion I've heard this from some people in the up and up in the district.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_25]: Oh, my God, if he goes, who are we going to find?
- 31:47[SPEAKER_25]: You know what?
- 31:50[SPEAKER_25]: and they had a start of search.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_25]: There's always a willing party and actually one of the people that went up against Larry Smego should have been selected over Larry Smego and he wasn't selected in that the local person.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_20]: So there are people there, but where do you find someone who looks at it and says we don't need all these DEI and equity officers and feel good
- 32:20[SPEAKER_25]: Yes.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, look right now what has happened.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_25]: We are ranked 12th.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_25]: What is the statistics I just saw someone just send it to me?
- 32:29[SPEAKER_25]: I'm going to actually pull it up right now.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_25]: Out of all the high schools in the state water town is ranked 12th percent in proficiency in math and 11 percent proficiency in English.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_25]: 90 percent of the schools are better than the water town school in the New York state.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_25]: That is insane.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_25]: So you want to increase our budget to 112 million, where are you showing us what's worth the money here?
- 32:55[SPEAKER_25]: No.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_25]: Well, does anybody look at administration?
- 32:57[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know if there is any kind of light items or reports.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_20]: Does anybody look at the individual light items?
- 33:03[SPEAKER_20]: How much is he spending at lawyers?
- 33:05[SPEAKER_20]: I bet you it's about three or four million.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_25]: I asked that question.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_25]: Collegocher is the vice president and he is the care of the finance committee.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_25]: And I asked if that question several meetings ago, where is your fiscal responsibility?
- 33:20[SPEAKER_25]: Why do we need four attorneys?
- 33:22[SPEAKER_25]: We have four law firms.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_25]: Why do we need that?
- 33:27[SPEAKER_20]: To help you with the cover-ups every time there's an incident, I don't know.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_25]: But then they go and they spend legal tax with this than our tax dollars on lawyers to create a candidate qualification form that then suddenly becomes
- 33:44[SPEAKER_20]: I saw the, hey, speaking of a, speaking of Millie, what's going on with your little dust up with the police?
- 33:53[SPEAKER_25]: So the dust up with the police once again was adjourned.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_25]: There was a court hearing on April 10th and nothing happened and it's now been adjourned to make.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_20]: Okay, well, they're just going to keep adjourning.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_20]: And then the DA also say they wanted to dismiss it in interest of justice.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, and you'll still be charged.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_20]: You'll still be charged.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_20]: Just not as many feathers.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_25]: Yep.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, it's, it needs to get dismissed.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, they'll have it.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_25]: It's, it's going to get dismissed.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_20]: But when do we see the video?
- 34:25[SPEAKER_20]: You've got video from the restaurant.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I want to see it.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_20]: I know everyone wants to see it and they, you know, the video of my accident the other day was on the TV news within two hours.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, but nobody was charging you with harassment.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_25]: You think maybe the city could put up a couple of harassments for helping people don't that's the new thing in Watertown, New York.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_20]: You think I could get the city to come over and put up a couple of Jersey barriers up on that.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_20]: So they can't drive off the road anymore.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_25]: What happened to that driver?
- 35:03[SPEAKER_25]: Like with he drunk or see?
- 35:06[SPEAKER_20]: They said all they said was he fell asleep after PT.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_09]: Oh gosh.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_20]: He can't do a little running and, you know, I mean, he came in and I was talking to Pete Monaco this morning.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_20]: He would Pete.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_20]: Mr. Monaco was up at the corner to come in on East Maine.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_20]: He saw the truck grow by.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_20]: He said he was doing at least 50 right through the intersection.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_25]: Oh goodness.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_20]: You know, come on, man.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_25]: You know, somebody could have been not walking on the sidewalk at that point.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_20]: But it'd been me.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_20]: It could have been the mailman.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_20]: It could have been a kid.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_25]: It could have been almost anybody.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_20]: But you know what?
- 35:40[SPEAKER_20]: And these accidents have occurred before.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_20]: You would think that you'd have a traffic expert from the police department or engineering or something.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_20]: Come over and say, well, let's see what happened there.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_20]: And you know, you will report on it.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_20]: But they don't.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_25]: No.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, it's a good thing that the... You know what?
- 36:00[SPEAKER_25]: That's another thing that needs to be looked at.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_25]: Who is responsible for the functioning in the management of our water town police department?
- 36:10[SPEAKER_25]: The police chief should have never allowed anyone to charge me with second degree harassment.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_25]: I'll say it again, that is intent to harm.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_25]: I did not intend to harm anybody when I saved the guy's life, and it wasn't just me.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_25]: It was a collective effort.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_25]: So who is in charge of oversight for, you know, our police chief, our police department,
- 36:36[SPEAKER_25]: How they work, what they do to the city, like where is the IR key of organization there?
- 36:42[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know the answer to that.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_20]: Beats me.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_20]: I think it's some guy in Adams, but I don't know.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_20]: I, you know, when you have a major crime, like a stabbing up a creekwood, you don't, don't, let's say, over the weekend.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_20]: There was a guy with a machete in Midtown Manhattan.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_20]: Well, Commissioner Tish was there on television talking about her.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_20]: She's run a police department.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_20]: You can never see that up here.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_20]: Never.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_20]: Now, you'll get people say, well, he doesn't have to, no, he doesn't have to do anything.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_20]: But when you're making $3,000 a week, maybe you should, maybe you should go look at some crime scenes or something like that or tell the neighbors everything's okay or so.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_20]: Instead of making statements like he's armed and dangerous, but don't worry about it.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_25]: We have a lot of issues right now going on, and front of foremost, I think it's our financial financial crisis that we're facing between the city budget and the school budget, and it's really sad, you know, last year, what Larry Smeagle did, a million, is tell teachers that if they didn't pass the budget, that they would be out of jobs and they'd be no salary.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_25]: no one bothered to inform the teacher that there is something called a contingency budget and that has the essential expensive and that includes teachers salaries and benefits and all that so he intimidated all those teachers to supporting the budget this budget i'm not saying that to support it what i am saying is that this school board really needs to look at that budget there is no reason why is to go up 8.3%
- 38:31[SPEAKER_25]: Now they talk about some inherent, you know, increases that they don't have health insurance, some, you know, retirement.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_25]: I get all that, that is not $8 million.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_25]: Mm-hmm.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_25]: Sorry.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_25]: It's not.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_20]: Well, let me just say this before I let you go.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_20]: An average citizen, if their family income is $100,000, and all of a sudden they find out that next year my income is going to be $90,000.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_20]: They're going to complain.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_25]: and all of that but you know what they're going to make it work because that's what people do if i if you said you got a run that school district of ninety million you'd still have kids getting educated one hundred and fifty percent and let me just say that the average income for a family for and water town new york is just under fifty five thousand dollars a year
- 39:25[SPEAKER_20]: And the average income in these government entities was a peep Monica told me there was 90 something and city employees making over a hundred a year or something like that.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_25]: And look at Larry Smego, he makes $208,000.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_25]: That's a salary.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_25]: The board just gave him an $8,000 increase.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_25]: $208,000 that's superintendent makes a year.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_25]: But what?
- 39:51[SPEAKER_25]: So you can keep drowning and gouging the community?
- 39:55[SPEAKER_20]: I don't think so Well, let's get the hope you get elected, but The daunting task.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_20]: I'll be there.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_20]: I'll be there to vote for you and all my friends both of them.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_20]: Okay, thanks.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_20]: Bye now

- 43:43[SPEAKER_20]: They, I'm 1240.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_20]: They'll send, in a little on this course there, I used the term that hasn't been used in a while.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_20]: If feet snobbs, and it was, of course, used by Spiroag device president Agnub, it was a great American.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_20]: And it was a rhetoric aimed at attacking liberal elites as over-refined, weak, and disconnected from mainstream American values.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_20]: Need, I say, any more.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_20]: There you go.

- 44:28[SPEAKER_20]: There you go.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_20]: And today, of course, is April 15th, tax day.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, everything.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_20]: Well, we're going to put it in for an extension.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_20]: I just wanted it over with, but we'll go along with it.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_20]: It's hard to get to, you know, well, the most people even file taxes anymore.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know if I have to, even my age, but there should be a point where you can just say screw it, done with these people.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_20]: you're right down to it.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_20]: But, um, after people don't pay any income tax at all, so it's kind of a dumb tax when you think of it.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_20]: We need more sin taxes.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_20]: Now they're talking about nicotine pouches and all.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_20]: I don't even know what a nicotine pouch is.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_20]: Don't we pouch over hurt of
- 45:21[SPEAKER_20]: They're talking about how much they can tax him and some of you to poll and over half the people in the states that they favor taxing nicotine pouches.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_20]: Most people don't know what they are, they just, there's something we can tax, it sounds like it's somebody else will be using it.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, I don't like a spare guess, so let's tax a spare guess or something.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_20]: These people are something.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_20]: And now at the Hockel, you rich people out there.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_20]: And there's a couple of you.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_20]: There's a couple of you who have expensive second homes.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_20]: She wants to tax those to a special search charge.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_20]: You think you're paying, you know, you got that $2 million $3 million home up on the river.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_20]: You'd think getting paid in those taxes to the town of Clayton or the Fargeville School District, whatever.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_20]: You'd think that's enough.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_20]: They don't think it's enough.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_20]: They want more.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_20]: The new conscience of New York, Zorhan Mamedami, taxing the ultra-wealthy and global elites.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_20]: Mayor, the global elites are a lot of your people they supported you.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_20]: Tax the veggies out of all of us.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_20]: Just do that.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_20]: And what Mrs. Smith raised was interesting about, and he don't like to get into this, he's making this much because it sounds like you jealous or something like that.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_20]: But when you have a different class, some of this stuff doesn't seem to matter.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_20]: And that's the problem.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_20]: And you know, a school board says, well, it's for the children, well, for the children too, but it, it, it, it, it, it, what cost?
- 47:06[SPEAKER_20]: That's a good afternoon around here.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, the tax increase for the school, everybody needs to go no on for one and two Mr. Fago needs to be fired and also with the city tax increase, leave the garbage system way it is for people pay the $5 to get rid of the garbage because it can't afford 20% increase
- 47:37[SPEAKER_13]: and also the taxes, the senior citizens can't afford another tax percent increase of 11% or even 3% because they're living on fixed income.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_13]: Have a good night.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, this whole thing with a garbage pick up.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_20]: The way it works now is pretty, you know, I've talked to people who are mad and won't use it because, you know, they're just mad at the city.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_20]: the way the premise of it of having it you go get a toe put you know and they pick it up if you only have one bag and you don't want to bother put it out you don't have to if you didn't you know and you kind of regulate what you pay as opposed to paying a fixed cost for the toe or unlimited use but I think it's not a bad idea but when is somebody going to wake up blame me to when on when I was there and I can't say why do we do this
- 48:34[SPEAKER_20]: this, this recycling nonsense.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_20]: First of all, it all, it all ends up in the landfill anyway, but it's separation and all, it's just make work, it's like the bottle bill, it's make work.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_20]: Get rid of it, they don't do it out.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_20]: What are they doing to towns?
- 48:50[SPEAKER_20]: Out of the towns, everybody says, hey, Saturday morning, you know, we're gonna go out to the dump and they all get out there and talk and all that stuff.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_20]: That's what they do.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_20]: It's a social thing.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_20]: Why can't we have a central drop off and then have pick up service for those who want or need it?
- 49:05[SPEAKER_20]: And try to grab more market share and not get less.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_20]: Because as you get less market share, 20 houses on the street.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_20]: If you're serving 50 in of them, it works.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_20]: If you're serving 2, it doesn't.

- 49:58[SPEAKER_23]: By taking over Congress in the midterms, they're targeting dozens of districts including our New York 21.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_23]: So the question is, are you ready?
- 50:07[SPEAKER_23]: Anthony Constantino is, Anthony Constantino isn't an Albany politician.

- 50:20[SPEAKER_23]: He's built real businesses, created real jobs, and he knows what it takes to grow an economy from the ground up.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_23]: Anthony Constantino is a proven outsider, with grassroots Republican values, and the backbone to stand with President Trump.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_23]: Constantino is now campaigning to be the Republican nominee for New York's 21st congressional district, fighting for economic growth, strong national security, and practical leadership that actually works.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_23]: The Democrats want Trump out.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_23]: We need Anthony Constantine O.M.

- 53:23[SPEAKER_20]: And other than that, what else is in the news?
- 53:29[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, how about Eric Swallwell, didn't he, a sweetie?
- 53:33[SPEAKER_20]: Now, I will say this.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_20]: This thing the way it came down, it was not leaving his behavior aside over years and the
- 53:48[SPEAKER_20]: The way he got, with a three-day period, all of a sudden it comes out in the San Francisco Chronicle, CNN's got an interview with these victims, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_20]: The Republic or Democratic Party hit squad took him out in our hurry, because they really needed to lessen the field.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_20]: in that democratic or in that who been a total jungle primary in california remember they don't run on party primaries everybody's on the ballot on primary day in the top to move on and it was looking like it was possible the two republicans uh... could move on and they needed to stop that plus uh... the small well was really kind of a useful idea for the democrats you know he blasted
- 54:37[SPEAKER_20]: President Trump and other people, and he served that function for them, but he wasn't useful anymore.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_20]: He was just an idiot, and so they had to get rid of him.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_20]: Now the lady who held the press conference out in Hollywood yesterday, something about her that didn't quite ring true, but there were other victims on CBS.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_20]: I think they were sincere, but the one there, I don't know, I mean, seeing, uh, whatever.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_20]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_14]: Hey, good afternoon, Mayor.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_14]: I just want to ask it.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_14]: I don't have a sidewalk where I live now, of course, but if you're in the city, who owns the sidewalk?
- 55:20[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, you're supposed to replace it with cracked environments.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_14]: You're supposed to maintain it, you know, as a snow boat, shovel, soft, good.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_15]: Right.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_14]: Or whatever, both.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_14]: Do you actually own it?
- 55:30[SPEAKER_14]: No, everybody gets both to be able to use it or who owns that.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_20]: No, it's actually in the city's right of way.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_20]: You're just required by local ordinance to maintain it.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_14]: So the city owns it kind of.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_14]: It's the right way for the city.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_14]: So if you, somebody, somebody would say they're on a e-bike and wipe it out on their eyes.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_14]: Can they come after you?
- 55:51[SPEAKER_14]: Or they're going to grab the glove to the city?
- 55:53[SPEAKER_20]: Well, they can come after anybody and they will.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_14]: Who's supposed to be responsible for nothing I'm just saying and with that guy, you know, going 60 miles an hour over your sidewalk is crazy, but I'm talking about, I don't know if anger man even has a sidewalk, we lives on the fifth floor or whatever, but the thing is, who, you can't stop somebody from using the sidewalk or you're supposed to fix the cracks
- 56:28[SPEAKER_20]: possibility of these kind of accidents on this corner.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_20]: Um, I think there is a traffic issue that somebody should at least look at.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_20]: Um, but I'm, you know, but all of this is people saying, well, you're just a complainer and you just want to make it all about you.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, right.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_14]: How long did they take them?
- 56:48[SPEAKER_14]: Tell those people.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_14]: Also, it's up on the corner before that sign got put in and look at how much the like that was.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_14]: Cash blown all over the place and everything was dried by it.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, there are two jump trucks and garbage in their front yard.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_20]: Hmm.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_20]: Well, the state DOT was by today to replace the road sign, so.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_14]: Well, that was nice.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_14]: How many guys at eight?
- 57:09[SPEAKER_20]: Three.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know, man.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_14]: I just want to solve.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_14]: You're responsible for replacing them for crack and damage.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_14]: You're responsible for snow removal and maintaining them, but anybody can use them.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_18]: but they're not here so to speak city right away well right that's basically outwork now why is this one all righty well thank you by now would have to do it on the air i don't know what's up though not much uh... i was just reading that uh... article on news don't you that uh... least of phonics uh... congressional clip was the most watched
- 57:54[SPEAKER_18]: when she was talking about the, uh, the Ivy League colleges.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_20]: Mm-hmm.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, I don't know what her next move is, but, uh, I think I do.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_20]: What, president?
- 58:06[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_20]: I'm there.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_18]: I think so too.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_18]: Yep.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_18]: I've called it for a little while now.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_18]: That's what happens there.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_20]: Me too, but, uh, yeah.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, now that an Uber driver can go to the, uh,
- 58:24[SPEAKER_20]: I'll deliver food there.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_18]: I believe this is going to be our first female president of the United States of America.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_18]: That would be pretty cool, wouldn't it?
- 58:34[SPEAKER_20]: Well, it could be.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_20]: You know, I wish we could have a race in 28 between, like, Elise and maybe Gretchen Whitmer.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_20]: That way we know there's going to be a woman winning.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_20]: And we don't have to hear this.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, well, America's not ready for a woman.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_20]: Nine cents from Mrs. Obama.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_18]: At the time of her.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_18]: not going to the U.N. and not being the governor and everything all like a possibly think of was she's running for personal.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I think what happened is I mean, obviously she reacted to events, but yeah, I think now she's positioned pretty well to be a national figure and uh... but not holding off as she's not constrained by all of that so hopefully she does well
- 59:23[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, it looks like Anthony comes and Tino's gonna be fine through the primary Okay, the end concerned about Blake gender being though.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_20]: All right, well, we'll get to that later.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_20]: I got a run.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_18]: Okay.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_20]: Thanks, but I don't.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, that's a whole topic in and of itself.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_20]: We'll get Fred Dicker in here to talk about it tomorrow.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_20]: Well, listen, Glenn Curry will be in at five o'clock today.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_20]: You all know Glenn Don'tchup and I'll have something to talk about all on this community broadcast to station.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_20]: That's right.
