  We're going to continue to transition into basically the

  weeks of of football betting because there's a routine you

  kind of get into. Once you turn the page on

  previous week, you look toward the next week, you start to look

  at some lines. I actually have a new sharp

  report that I wrote for visen.com for Week 2 of the

  college football season and actually have 3 bets that caught
• 1:04
  my eye, two of which I have already played.

  Really sharp line moves, good splits and good rhythm system
• 1:09
  matches. Then another game that I'm most
• 1:11
  likely going to be on, but I'm just kind of waiting it out,
• 1:13
  trying to get the best of the number.

  So this is kind of the, the way we kind of, you know, go into
• 1:18
  each week of, you know, starting to wet our feet, check out the
• 1:21
  line movements, let the let the bets build, let the lines move.

  And then we kind of start to get a clearer picture throughout the
• 1:27
  week. But hopefully in the early
• 1:28
  portion of our week, we can pick off, you know, maybe one or two
• 1:31
  games where maybe we'll get a 3 1/2 and it closes at 3 or 2 1/2

  if we're on the dog or, you know, we get the favorite -5

  1/2, they close 6 or 6 1/2. Sometimes the early bird does
• 1:41
  indeed get the worm. So I want to try to kind of

  program our our brains for football season into looking at
• 1:47
  these lines early and trying to get down and hopefully beat the
• 1:49
  market. So we're going to talk a little
• 1:51
  bit of college football Week 2. I also have a three pack of MLB
• 1:55
  plays for you today, guys. I have some people who are
• 1:57
  tweeting me saying, where's MLB? Where's MLB?

  Well, don't worry. We're still going to get
• 2:01
  baseball until the bitter end here.

  Obviously takes a bit of a back seat when football returns, but
• 2:06
  lucky for you guys, I got a three pack, two of which are a
• 2:09
  couple favorites and then we do have a total here.

  I'm looking for some runs in a game here a little bit later
• 2:15
  tonight. So a three pack of baseball
• 2:16
  plays for today, a three pack of early college football, sharp
• 2:20
  line moves. We're going to see if we can try
• 2:22
  to eke out A2 in one night, make some, make some money here on
• 2:25
  the MLB slate. Now, looking back to our last
• 2:28
  night, guys, we faded Bill Belichick.

  We also faded my buddy like Michael Lombardi.

  And boy, did that come through Bigley, because I got a little
• 2:36
  nervous because UNC scored on their first drive.
• 2:39
  And I'm like, oh, oh, maybe, maybe, maybe Belichick.

  The old man's got something going on here.

  But no, TCU absolutely rolled from that point forward,
• 2:46
  completely dominated TCU ran away with it 48 to 14.

  And remember, that was a perfect textbook example of looking at
• 2:54
  line movement because Steam, which is an overload of sharp
• 2:57
  money across the marketplace, we're pretty much you're seeing
• 2:59
  the entire market move. It's caused by a big overload of
• 3:02
  smart money all in one side hitting every book across the
• 3:05
  market, causing that big adjustment.
• 3:07
  It can be a good indicator of big money coming in.
• 3:10
  And the whole point with TCU is that it was a one way line move
• 3:13
  with no buyback whatsoever. So you know, over the summer,
• 3:16
  North Carolina, we talked about on yesterday's pod, they
• 3:18
  actually opened back in May, laying a point in half at home,
• 3:22
  quickly flipped to TCU -2 and half, then -3 then they got up
• 3:25
  to 3 1/2, even got juiced up -3 and F -, 115 some books even
• 3:30
  touching 4. So anytime you see that one way
• 3:32
  movement with no buyback, that's always a side that I want to be
• 3:35
  on. So TCU came through.
• 3:37
  They also had a pretty good bet split both low bets, higher
• 3:40
  dollars at DraftKings and at at at Circa, which was nice to see.
• 3:45
  And hey, we got to win there against spell check.
• 3:48
  And it kind of reminded me again of of that Arch Manning debut
• 3:51
  where there's a single singular player or person here.
• 3:54
  It was a coach Arch Manning that game against Ohio State was a
• 3:58
  player. But anytime the public kind of
• 4:00
  loads up on a a narrative or a player or a person or a coach,
• 4:04
  typically I want to bet against that.

  So the fact that TCU had that never ending steam and we were
• 4:09
  able to, you know, money line them and come through the big
• 4:11
  win. Nice one and O night plus 0.59

  units. So we will take it and we'll
• 4:17
  move on. And also also it's people say,

  well, why don't you just lay the points?

  Well, it was around a key number of three.

  Lay a 3 1/2 win by three, you lose.

  I'm never going to, I'm never going to apologize for a
• 4:26
  winning, winning money line bet when you maybe could have made
• 4:29
  more if it was a, you know, obviously no one's got a crystal
• 4:31
  ball, no one's got 50 and his Almanac, but we got to win there
• 4:34
  nonetheless. So I wouldn't, I wouldn't, you
• 4:35
  know, cry over sour grapes where you could have made a little bit
• 4:38
  more if you laid the the -115 spread versus a, you know -170
• 4:43
  money line. A wins a win and we're going to
• 4:45
  take it and move on. So that being said, guys, I want
• 4:47
  to start off by talking about some early college football
• 4:52
  games that caught my eye. So we're going to kind of run
• 4:54
  through these. Then we're going to finish up
• 4:55
  with some MLB. But the first game that really
• 4:58
  jumped out to me for this upcoming week was Baylor and
• 5:01
  SMU. So this is a game that is coming
• 5:04
  up here on Saturday and is taking place at noon.
• 5:07
  So I'm going to set the stage, kind of discuss what I've seen
• 5:10
  across the market and kind of kind of talk through this this
• 5:13
  sharp line move. So Baylor comes in O and one
• 5:16
  they fell to Auburn 3824 in week 1.
• 5:18
  I remember because I took them I think plus 2 1/2 they closed
• 5:21
  plus one but they end up losing at home, which was annoying.
• 5:24
  But on the other hand, SMU want to know their ranked 16th.
• 5:27
  They just crushed East Texas A&M 42 to 13 did not cover though as
• 5:31
  a 50 1/2 point home favorite. So what we see across the market
• 5:34
  here, well, SMU opened as around a four point favorite at home
• 5:38
  and immediately that four got down to 3 1/2, got down to three
• 5:43
  and now we're seeing some books or most of the market down to 2
• 5:45
  1/2 or even 2. So this line is really, really
• 5:48
  steamed toward Baylor. And it's not just a steam move,
• 5:51
  it's a reverse line move because the public is all over SMU. 73%
• 5:55
  of spread bets at DraftKings are going with SMU, yet the line is
• 5:59
  going the other way falling toward Baylor.
• 6:01
  So it tells us we got some big RLM hitting Baylor.
• 6:04
  You look at the splits right now and again, these splits can
• 6:06
  really change between now and you know, get to Friday,
• 6:08
  Saturday, because it is relatively early.
• 6:11
  But one thing I like about betting games early is just
• 6:12
  getting hooks and key numbers like that.
• 6:14
  That's that's really important to me.
• 6:16
  But anyway, Baylor only 27% bets 61% dollars at DraftKings circa
• 6:21
  81% bets 99% dollars on here on Baylor here.
• 6:26
  So both books have really good low bets, higher dollar split on
• 6:29
  Baylor. One system match.
• 6:31
  I really like it's a grinder match.
• 6:32
  It generates a lot of matches. Short Rd. dogs +4 or less.
• 6:37
  Whole point here is usually it's three points for home field.
• 6:39
  So if you're a road dog getting four more on a neutral site,
• 6:42
  it's basically a pick em game. Kind of saying these teams are
• 6:45
  pretty even but that system is 626 and 544 against the spread.

  54 percent 4% ROI since 2012. Baylor would also have some just
• 6:55
  classic by low value as a contrarian play and a heavily
• 6:59
  bet noon game, but also a team off a loss playing a team off a
• 7:02
  win in an unranked Rd. Dog against a ranked opponent.

  One day rest advantage because Baylor last played on Friday and
• 7:09
  SMU played on Saturday. So pretty clear here that Baylor
• 7:13
  is the sharp side. Now the dilemma is did you get
• 7:16
  the the hook? Did you get there?
• 7:17
  Not the hook, but did you get the key number?
• 7:20
  Because when I wrote about this for visen.com, I was able to
• 7:23
  jump on Baylor at +3. I got them +3 at -115 shameless
• 7:30
  plug to sign up and get the $4.99 a week.

  All systems go. Best bets on the juicer lab

  because you would have gotten that one as well, but I don't

  really see any threes anymore. On the one hand this is great

  signs down to 2 1/2, but also if you missed the three and you're

  only at a 2 1/2, I would wait this out.

  You know, see if between now and the next few days you can get it
• 7:50
  up up back to three. I see at least couple books
• 7:53
  where I am in Massachusetts. Fanatics and FanDuel are -2 1/2

  -, 115 toward SMU. So I would hold out for the key

  number of three again, because if Baylor loses by three, you
• 8:03
  want to push that bet instead of lose that bet.

  But I am officially on Baylor plus three at -115 If you

  Hey, you're probably loving this thing down at 2 and half.

  But if you want to play the sharp move and you missed it, I

  would wait it out. Don't bet the two and half now

  because it may creep back up to three, but looks like Baylor is

  a very sharp play. This will make you feel better
• 8:28
  though, even if maybe it doesn't go to three.

  I'm hoping that it does because I want you guys to get that key
• 8:32
  number. I pop popped open rhythm and I
• 8:35
  had a green star recommended play on Baylor at plus 2 1/2.

  They are predicted to lose this game by 0.5 points, half a point
• 8:44
  31.3 to 30.8. So basically, you know,
• 8:47
  obviously in that case, even if you're on up a half point to a
• 8:50
  point, you're going to cover with the 2 1/2.

  But it is nice to see as always, rhythm is kind of with us there.

  Next one that caught my eye. Let's go to the battle of Iowa.

  Another noon kick off here on Saturday.

  Iowa versus Iowa State. Now going into it, Iowa's one
• 9:06
  and O, they brushed aside Albany 34 to 7 in Week 1, didn't cover
• 9:10
  though as a 39 1/2 point home favorite, you know, Iowa State 2
• 9:13
  and O ranked 22nd in the country.
• 9:15
  I like them because they came up huge for us.
• 9:18
  If you played that sharp reverse line move in that noon kick off
• 9:22
  in in Ireland in Week 0. But they just play their second
• 9:25
  game actually. And they just crushed South
• 9:27
  Dakota 55 to 7, easily covering as a 60 1/2 point home favorite.

  Now what do we see across the market?
• 9:34
  Well, this one's been interesting because it opened
• 9:36
  basically Iowa State -2 1/2 at home.
• 9:39
  It did get up to Iowa State -3 1/2, but once it got through the
• 9:43
  three, the key number in the hook was available.
• 9:46
  You're starting to see a lot of sharp buyback hit Iowa plus the
• 9:49
  hook. Bring it back down to three.
• 9:52
  And some shops are three. I see one kind of down to 2 1/2,
• 9:56
  but others are -3 -, 115 toward Iowa State.

  So this line is kind of all over the place, but you split the
• 10:02
  difference. It's basically, you know, three
• 10:05
  across the market. What's notable to me is that at
• 10:07
  FanDuel it is Iowa State -2 1/2 - 120 and an ESPN bet it is Iowa
• 10:15
  plus 3 1/2 - 125. So there's kind of AI.
• 10:18
  Don't know a disagreement a little bit in the market with
• 10:20
  most books at 3, but there are some 2 1/2.
• 10:23
  There are some 3 1/2's, which again is notable.
• 10:26
  Now I'm going to go Iowa. What I like about Iowa is that
• 10:29
  they're super contrarian. Currently you're getting 78% of
• 10:34
  spread bets laying it with Iowa State ranked team.
• 10:37
  But once it got to 3 1/2, it came back down.
• 10:40
  So that told me that there's a lot of buyback on Iowa getting
• 10:42
  the hook. So they're only getting 22% the
• 10:45
  Hawkeyes and heavily back game. I like that contrarian play.
• 10:49
  They're a short Rd. dog 4 less also match with Baylor.
• 10:52
  That's a 54% ATS grinder system. You have some correlative
• 10:56
  betting dog low total, very low total of 41 1/2.
• 10:59
  This total actually fell from 42 1/2.

  So fair amount of expected point score makes it harder for the
• 11:05
  favorite to cover. You also have the buy low value
• 11:07
  of a dog who didn't cover the previous week.

  Again, Hawkeyes won but they didn't cover that big number
• 11:13
  against Albany versus a team that did cover and is ranked
• 11:17
  because Iowa State covered against South Dakota.

  So that to me tells me you got some value on Iowa State or
• 11:23
  sorry on Iowa specifically at the the hook of plus 3 1/2.

  Now I took Iowa plus 3 1/2 at -125 at ESPN.

  Bet it is still available with the hook at -125 little juicy
• 11:37
  but hey, 3 point game, you know with this is a 20 to 17 game
• 11:41
  2421, you know 17 to 14. That hook could be really,
• 11:45
  really important. But I did notice that Rhythm to

  Green Star recommended plays on Iowa plus three in both of them
• 11:54
  are basically losing by 0.9 points and 1.2 points.

  So basically a very tight one point game, which the 2 1/2 or

  sorry, the three would cover for you.

  So in this case, if you want to play Iowa with me, I officially

  jumped on the hook because it's available in Mass where I'm at

  on ESPN. Bet plus 3 1/2 -, 125.

  If you want to play the contrarian spot with Iowa, I

  would wait to see if the hook pops back up because you have

  some books -3 - 115 toward Iowa State.

  But that is a big contrarian play.

  Sharp buyback, good rhythm recommendation.

  I am on the Hawkeyes plus 3 1/2 last early play that caught my

  eye for Week 2 in college football.

  Primetime matchup. Michigan and Oklahoma 7:30 PM

  Eastern Time on Saturday. Now Michigan comes in.

  One and O ranked 14th. They just took down New Mexico
• 12:46
  34 to 17 in Week 1. Didn't cover, though.
• 12:49
  They're favored by 34 1/2 at home.

  Oklahoma's one and O ranked 18th.
• 12:54
  They just beat Illinois State 35 to 3.
• 12:57
  Didn't cover as a 40 1/2 point home favorite.

  Now, what have we seen across the market here?

  Well, this is a massive steam move toward the Sooners.
• 13:06
  Oklahoma open this game as low as -2 1/2 at home.
• 13:09
  And boy did the sharps hammer the Sooners at a low number.

  Steam this game all the way up to -5 1/2.
• 13:16
  Now, some books even touched -6 1/2 with Oklahoma.
• 13:20
  And at that point you did have a little buyback.

  Michigan plus 6 1/2. Bring it back down to 5 1/2.

  What I really like about this play toward Oklahoma, yeah, the
• 13:29
  lines really gone up in their favor.

  But seems to me it's gone up for a reason, because a lot of smart
• 13:34
  money has laid it with Oklahoma, because Oklahoma is not the
• 13:38
  public play. The public's actually leaning.
• 13:40
  Michigan public is saying this line is too high.
• 13:42
  Michigan's a good team. Take the points.
• 13:44
  So if you look right now at DraftKings, Sooners are only
• 13:47
  getting 46% of spread bets, 61% of spread dollars, Circa only
• 13:52
  27% of spread bets, 68% of spread dollars.
• 13:56
  So both DraftKings and Circa low bets, higher dollar split on the
• 14:00
  Sooners and the Sooners will be really an elevated contrarian
• 14:04
  play for me because it's a primetime 730 game.

  I think it's maybe on Fox or ESPN bet or ABC or ESPN or ABC,
• 14:10
  whatever it is. But I know it's a nationally
• 14:11
  televised game and they're a contrarian favorite.

  So anytime the public loads up on a dog, you know, we like to
• 14:18
  do, we like to fade that trendy dog.

  This is a spot where you can be in a prime time game against the
• 14:25
  public on a contrarian favorite. And I do have another system on
• 14:27
  Oklahoma when 2 ranked teams face off home favorite is 125
• 14:32
  and 83 against the spread. 60 percent, 16% ROI now -5 1/2
• 14:38
  right now is a bit of a dead number because again, you're
• 14:42
  you're right below the six. You don't see a ton of games
• 14:45
  land on five, obviously with, you know, a missed kick or extra
• 14:49
  point safety, something like that.
• 14:51
  You know, it can happen, but you're not at the key number of
• 14:53
  6. So what I'm going to do is I'm
• 14:56
  most likely going to be on Oklahoma laying the points here
• 14:59
  again, contrarian and heavily back game.

  The line got steamed up bigly in their favor.

  But I'm just going to wait it out to make sure we don't see

  this line get down to five. Like I'm I'm a little wary of
• 15:09
  maybe there's buyback again. It opened as low as 2 1/2.

  So in that case, you know, can we wait and get a 5?

  They win by 5. You push that sort of thing.

  But I'm also wary of, hey, does it get steamed up to six?

  And I want to get the 5 1/2 before it lands on 6 so that a

  six point when you cover. But this is a public Michigan

  line, steam line steaming toward Oklahoma.

  And basically if you look at rhythm, it's about a six point
• 15:33
  spread. So tiny little edge there as
• 15:36
  well. But I'm going to feed that
• 15:37
  trendy dog Michigan. I'm going to go Oklahoma.

  I'm just kind of waiting to make sure I can get the best of it.

  But I may end up going -5 1/2. We'll see how this develops over

  the next couple days. But I'm looking toward the

  Sooners. And they picked up that QB, John

  Matier or Matier, who I think set the record for most passing

  yards in his debut. So maybe a good spot to bet
• 15:56
  against the power powerhouse, powerful or popular team, I

  should say Michigan, and follow that sharp Oklahoma move.

  So Baylor, Iowa State in Oklahoma, they're catching my

  eye early in the week. Now for some sweats for tonight,

  man, we haven't talked baseball in a while, right?

  But anyway, first but on the board for me, let's talk about

  an inter league match up here, Toronto Blue Jays visiting the

  Cincinnati Reds. Now this is a early game here,

  6:40 PM Eastern Time. First pitch and couple things to

  know about this one. Toronto comes in 79 and 59 Reds

  70 and 68. Actually, you had Toronto blow a

  late 9th inning lead last night, I think.

  Yeah, they're up. Were they up four to two in the

  ninth and end up losing 4 to 5 to 4?

  It wasn't our guy Hoffman. It was someone else, Mr. Little

  or Nance. I don't even know who it was.

  But anyway, this originally was Jose Barrios, starting pitcher

  for the Jays, nine and five, 3.95 ERA.

  And I believe it was Nick Lodolo who was expected to start for

  Cincinnati, the lefty. But I believe Lodolo got

  scratched. Now it's going to be Scott

  Barlow. Now his numbers look pretty

  decent, six and two, 3.26 ERA, but he's an opener, so it's

  going to be a bullpen game here for Cincinnati.

  And when it was supposed to be Lodolo, you actually had

  basically the Reds a short favorite around -115 once he got

  scratched, complete flip of this line and it now got steamed up

  all the way. Toronto at one point a -, 1 O 5

  Rd. dog now all the way up to a -, 130 Rd. favorite.

  So scratch starting pitcher, big adjustment tells me the the wise
• 17:37
  guys really like Toronto quite a bit.

  Once low Dolo, the big lefty was no longer going to pitch.

  Now if you look at the splits, DraftKings 67% of bets, 73% of
• 17:47
  dollars on Toronto. It's a little bit of a low bets
• 17:51
  higher dollar split at circa over 90% of bets in dollars on
• 17:55
  Toronto. Now Toronto would also have some
• 17:57
  value as an interleague favorite, lack of familiarity,
• 18:00
  benefiting quote UN quote the better team who's a favorite to
• 18:03
  win. If you also look at one system I
• 18:05
  really like, if you are a road favorite with at least $0.10 of
• 18:09
  steam and you're coming off a loss, it's a really good bounce
• 18:12
  back spot. It's 71 and 44 this year, 62%
• 18:16
  with a 4% ROI. You also get Toronto on the
• 18:20
  road. They're hitting 263, that's
• 18:22
  second in baseball. Against righties, they're
• 18:24
  hitting 267. That's first in baseball.

  And Jose Berrios, again, sometimes he pitches a gem.
• 18:30
  I've been on him, he's gotten lit up.

  I'm hoping he pitch as well tonight, but on the road. 5 and

  three 3.43 ERA at night 7 and one 2.66 ERA.

  So again, starting pitcher gets scratched.

  Adjustment toward Toronto. Some system matches bounce back

  win in extra innings last night in the series opener.

  For tonight's matchup, we got a couple lefties on the bump.

  Joey Wentz is going for the the Braves.

  He's five and four, 4.92 ERA lefty Shota and Managa is going

  for the Cubs. He's 8 and 6, three-point O 8

  ERA. What have we seen across the

  market here? Well, not a massive move, but

  some movement toward the Cubbies.

  Cubbies open this game around -170 and that one steamed up to
• 19:45
  around -180 I jumped on the Cubs at -178 at Caesars.

  Couple things that I that jumped out to me.

  One, a really good split at Circa.
• 19:55
  At Circa, only 54% of tickets are on the Cubs, but it accounts
• 20:00
  for nearly 70% of the dollars. So good low bets, higher dollar

  split toward the Cubs. Bit of a 5050 line move.

  Cubs are also the best team in baseball when they're favored
• 20:11
  and the line moves further in their direction.
