- 0:15Speaker 1: Hi, guys, welcome back to I Do Part two. It's
- 0:18Speaker 1: your celebrity mentors Cheryl Burke and Jen Bessler back with you,
- 0:22Speaker 1: and we have a lot to talk about. Last time
- 0:25Speaker 1: we did this, we had a lot to talk about.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I think this time we have maybe more right. It's
- 0:30Speaker 1: just like always something happening in the world of divorce
- 0:32Speaker 1: and breakups.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Always it's it never gets old, does it?
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it never gets old and always fun to talk about,
- 0:39Speaker 1: especially with you.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Good to see you again, Good to see you always.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I hope to see you in person one day.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I know, right, I feel like we a little streams
- 0:49Speaker 1: that we haven't met in person. It feels like we.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Have I know. Should we talk about my partner?
- 0:54Speaker 3: Yes?
- 0:55Speaker 1: Please?
- 0:55Speaker 2: So I danced with Ryan Lockede many many decades ago.
- 0:58Speaker 2: It feels like though it wasn't It was probably just
- 1:00Speaker 2: a decade ago. He obviously has gone through a divorce,
- 1:05Speaker 2: not obviously, but for those that keep up with the Joneses,
- 1:08Speaker 2: that's what's been happening over in Lockedy world and has
- 1:12Speaker 2: now been a born again after a rocky year, which
- 1:16Speaker 2: is great, like more power to him. I just I
- 1:19Speaker 2: never saw signs of that when we were dancing together,
- 1:21Speaker 2: not like you know, by the way, people can totally
- 1:24Speaker 2: evolve and absolutely you know, turn to God when you've
- 1:27Speaker 2: hit rock bottom, it happens a lot. Well, he had
- 1:29Speaker 2: also just gotten out of rehab, yes, and that is
- 1:32Speaker 2: something I actually just found out recently. I had no
- 1:35Speaker 2: idea that he had such issues with substance abuse. Mind
- 1:40Speaker 2: you you know, when I danced with him, I was
- 1:43Speaker 2: not sober. So like we partied together a little bit,
- 1:46Speaker 2: like we would go out, but I would kind of
- 1:48Speaker 2: keep him on a tight leash because I'll never forget.
- 1:51Speaker 2: We went to go to we went to Vegas and
- 1:54Speaker 2: part of our package before you know, the stuff that
- 1:56Speaker 2: they air prior to our dance, we had to learn
- 1:59Speaker 2: from the Bellaggio show, oh from CIRCUSLA And so we
- 2:04Speaker 2: had to go to Vegas for a weekend and my
- 2:07Speaker 2: friends were there. Just it was a coincidence. We went
- 2:09Speaker 2: out and I was like Ryan at two am, I was.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Like, you better go back to your room. We've got
- 2:14Speaker 4: camera blocking tomorrow. I don't want to smell alcohol on you.
- 2:17Speaker 4: And supposedly for my friends, he pretended to go to
- 2:21Speaker 4: his room and then was out till seven in the morning.
- 2:24Speaker 4: I was so mad at him, but that was our relationship.
- 2:26Speaker 4: We were like brothers sister.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Wow.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Well, I mean listen, you can't say if he's if
- 2:32Speaker 1: he's found God, God bless him. I guess he exactly did, right,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I mean, he did a what is it called, uh
- 2:41Speaker 1: just got baptized baptized. See, I'm sorry jewish, he just
- 2:44Speaker 1: got back. But did he do it? Was it like
- 2:46Speaker 1: a whole thing.
- 2:47Speaker 2: With wa Yeah, with water, yes, definitely. I mean he's
- 2:49Speaker 2: a swimmer. Just kidding, kidding, okay, right. You know, he
- 2:53Speaker 2: said that he loved sharing his life with his fans followers,
- 2:57Speaker 2: but this divorced with Kayla, his ex wife, hasn't been
- 3:00Speaker 2: necessarily a smooth ride. I mean, what divorce is at
- 3:03Speaker 2: the end of the day. But they have issues, you know,
- 3:06Speaker 2: obviously with custody. She does mention I guess in court
- 3:10Speaker 2: that you know, he was suffering from substance abuse and
- 3:12Speaker 2: she didn't want him around the kids. I mean it
- 3:15Speaker 2: started to get I mean from the article that I read,
- 3:17Speaker 2: I guess she mentioned that one time he was sniffing
- 3:20Speaker 2: something in front of the kids and then was nervous
- 3:22Speaker 2: that he was going to drive the kids. But obviously
- 3:25Speaker 2: he denies that it's just a battle. I'm just grateful
- 3:29Speaker 2: I never had kids.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah, well, so I feel like specifically from men, but
- 3:36Speaker 1: there's a lot of line after divorce, reinvention, you know
- 3:39Speaker 1: what I mean, Like I had a lot of sort
- 3:41Speaker 1: of I don't know this obviously the specifics here, but
- 3:45Speaker 1: a lot of trauma. I mean is well, you do know,
- 3:48Speaker 1: very traumatic, right they say it's like up there one
- 3:50Speaker 1: of the top three. Absolutely no, right, So I guess
- 3:54Speaker 1: some reach for alcohol and drugs. They want to reach,
- 3:59Speaker 1: want to and good for him, he's reaching for God. Yeah,
- 4:03Speaker 1: so right, So I don't know. I mean I also, well,
- 4:09Speaker 1: I don't know. I also think that a lot of times.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I hope it's not performative. I hope he means it.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I wonder if he is dating somebody I believe, or
- 4:17Speaker 2: is he engaged. I don't think he's engaged. Now he's dating.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Somebody Molly Gilahan Gillahan.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I wonder if maybe she's Christian, you know, you never know.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I mean I hope that she's you know, whoever, It
- 4:27Speaker 2: doesn't matter if she's Christian or not. Honestly, if she's
- 4:29Speaker 2: a great influence, that's a good sign. I mean, she
- 4:31Speaker 2: also comes from. I think she has kids of her
- 4:33Speaker 2: own as well. Have you ever had a spiritual awakening
- 4:37Speaker 2: after a breakup or a divorce?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Absolutely not my pattern. Let's see, well, because I've been
- 4:44Speaker 1: you know, I've been married a while. But my pattern
- 4:47Speaker 1: was always to throw myself into something to numbt and
- 4:49Speaker 1: I never was smart enough to Thank God, I was
- 4:52Speaker 1: more like you know other men who my father I
- 4:56Speaker 1: used to say, it is a disgusting thing, And he
- 4:58Speaker 1: said a lot of disgusting things, one of which was
- 5:01Speaker 1: the only way to get over one person is to
- 5:04Speaker 1: get under another.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Oh, I know, that's nasty. I mean my father was
- 5:08Speaker 2: quite nasty as well. Yeah, my father was.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Yeah, are we sure? Are we not sisters?
- 5:13Speaker 3: Oh?
- 5:14Speaker 1: I wish? But listen, I mean I think I I
- 5:16Speaker 1: some way probably followed that advice, not quite as literally,
- 5:20Speaker 1: but I always threw myself into stuff.
- 5:23Speaker 2: More than it's an addiction, I think it's something as
- 5:26Speaker 2: society today because we celebrate the hustle, and I think
- 5:29Speaker 2: hustle just equals numbing because we're just constantly needing to
- 5:33Speaker 2: stay busy and sitting in stillness is terrifying for I
- 5:37Speaker 2: think a lot of people, but I for I mean
- 5:41Speaker 2: for me, I definitely went. I did in a way,
- 5:45Speaker 2: turned to transcendental meditation as soon as I split, like
- 5:48Speaker 2: I needed and mind you, I was already looking into
- 5:51Speaker 2: it prior. Obviously you've also been sober.
- 5:54Speaker 1: You've been sober for a long time. So I'm seven
- 5:56Speaker 1: years old, so that's a long time. I mean you've
- 6:00Speaker 1: assuming that that there's a big spiritual component.
- 6:02Speaker 2: To your God. Yeah, it's it's absolutely that. You know,
- 6:05Speaker 2: we hand you know, our lives to God and we
- 6:07Speaker 2: you know, we have a higher power whether you want
- 6:10Speaker 2: to call it God or not, but you know, there
- 6:13Speaker 2: is that as far as the program goes, you know.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But I felt like, especially during COVID, you know, I
- 6:23Speaker 2: really dove into like all of these online courses, mental
- 6:27Speaker 2: health courses. I signed up for so much. And I
- 6:31Speaker 2: think it was just at that time though I was
- 6:33Speaker 2: still doing Dancing with the Stars because the show still happened,
- 6:36Speaker 2: but like there was something that I just wanted more of,
- 6:39Speaker 2: and I think it was just spirituality. I never really
- 6:42Speaker 2: I was born, I was baptized Catholic, my mother's Catholic,
- 6:46Speaker 2: but I never really I didn't really want to sit
- 6:49Speaker 2: up and stand up and stand up kidding.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Well, you don't like exercise, right, you don't like to Yeah.
- 6:54Speaker 2: No, I hate I hate it. I prefer just sitting
- 6:56Speaker 2: my ass down on chairs. But anyway, no, I can
- 7:02Speaker 2: just see it now. She hates Catholicism, like no, no, no, no, no,
- 7:07Speaker 2: not going there, folks.
- 7:08Speaker 1: This is a little bit I think. I mean, this
- 7:09Speaker 1: is we're getting off un attention. But I just during COVID,
- 7:11Speaker 1: I definitely was searching also, and a lot of Eckart toole.
- 7:17Speaker 2: God, he puts me to sleep though bad voice.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oh his voice. I would take song walks and you know,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and maybe you know, after something like this, I could
- 7:26Speaker 1: like a divorce. That seems to be the healthiest way
- 7:29Speaker 1: to go, right, Yeah, for sure.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I mean I think it's all numbing at the end
- 7:33Speaker 2: of the day, right, We're all numbing.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Yes, okay. So apparently Russell Crowe is not interested in
- 7:39Speaker 1: getting married again, did you? Apparently he was on sixty
- 7:44Speaker 1: Minutes and he has his current girlfriend, Britney Theiro. I
- 7:47Speaker 1: don't know if I'm saying that correctly, And there are
- 7:50Speaker 1: rumors that they were getting engaged and he said no way, no, how.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I watched the interview. It was yeah, he's definitely.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I mean he's sixty one, she's thirty three. Will it
- 7:59Speaker 2: last for No, nothing's forever, period. But at the end
- 8:02Speaker 2: of the day, you know, maybe if she wants to
- 8:04Speaker 2: get married ten years from now.
- 8:05Speaker 1: He seems to be pretty like firm with that. Oh yeah,
- 8:08Speaker 1: with not getting married, right, not getting married?
- 8:10Speaker 2: And honestly, I don't even know. People ask me all
- 8:13Speaker 2: the time if I would ever get married again. I said, well,
- 8:14Speaker 2: first I need to start dating. I mean, let's just
- 8:16Speaker 2: start there. But I don't know. I just think it's
- 8:20Speaker 2: a contract that can get real messy, right, Like I
- 8:22Speaker 2: don't think I think once you've been married.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I'm positive. I'm not positive. But I would think that
- 8:27Speaker 1: if he was going to marry this this much younger woman,
- 8:30Speaker 1: he would be careful. I would think he would there
- 8:32Speaker 1: would be an ironclad But that's I.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Even go there, like, just don't get married. It's just
- 8:37Speaker 2: like the uncomfortable conversations, especially if he doesn't. I mean,
- 8:40Speaker 2: he seems to be in love with her.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I don't know this woman, so this is all speculation. Dude,
- 8:44Speaker 1: If you're thirty three and you're dating Russell Crowe, like,
- 8:47Speaker 1: are you doing it just for the front of it.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe most thirty three year old women
- 8:54Speaker 1: I know are there is some in the prime game
- 8:58Speaker 1: in sight, right, but they also want you know, I
- 9:02Speaker 1: think at least the ones that I know, not necessarily everyone.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But now you're dating this older man and he's saying
- 9:08Speaker 1: he doesn't want to get married ever, I have no
- 9:10Speaker 1: idea what is going on with this thirty three I'm
- 9:14Speaker 1: guessing very beautiful, smart, wonderful person. I don't know mom,
- 9:20Speaker 1: her mom a little worried.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, we also don't know. Maybe the mom
- 9:25Speaker 2: promotes it like we don't know. What do you think?
- 9:27Speaker 3: Yes?
- 9:27Speaker 2: But all I know is that that interview, that sit
- 9:29Speaker 2: down interview with Russell Crowe. Actually it was interesting because
- 9:32Speaker 2: I've been a fan of his and I've seen a
- 9:33Speaker 2: couple of his interviews. You could tell he's in a
- 9:35Speaker 2: place in his life where one he's grateful for all
- 9:38Speaker 2: the work that he's still able to get as a
- 9:41Speaker 2: sixty one year old actor who's done this for so
- 9:43Speaker 2: many years. He assumed that he was going to be
- 9:46Speaker 2: out of the business by now, and he said that
- 9:48Speaker 2: he's also it's great that he has boundaries now. As
- 9:52Speaker 2: far as not saying yes to everything. You know, you
- 9:54Speaker 2: can tell that his priorities have shifted, which I think
- 9:58Speaker 2: for me at least through that interview, he comes across
- 10:00Speaker 2: us a lot more happy, just happier and peaceful.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Really, do you think he's hot?
- 10:04Speaker 2: He was? Yeah, he was Gladiator and he was on
- 10:07Speaker 2: that Wait what was the movie with a two personality?
- 10:10Speaker 2: What was it?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Oh my god? No, the two persons you mean the one?
- 10:15Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 10:15Speaker 1: No, he with the three personality. That's Paris.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Hilton is not an original life. I know, a beautiful mind,
- 10:21Speaker 2: a beautiful mind, beautiful mind.
- 10:23Speaker 1: He was brilliant in that he was hot there. I
- 10:27Speaker 1: didn't think he was necessarily hot in that way. Maybe
- 10:29Speaker 1: not like as that, but everybody has different taste for Gladiator.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Was it was not his character?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Okay, three personalities?
- 10:37Speaker 2: Yeah, Gladiator never said I never saw it, but he
- 10:40Speaker 2: seemed to be hot there.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah, But anyway, listen, he is hot, and he's working it,
- 10:45Speaker 1: and he's dating a thirty three year old and he's
- 10:47Speaker 1: very honest, which I admire. So she's okay, I'm okay.
- 10:52Speaker 1: You know, he says he likes to be called a
- 10:54Speaker 1: boyfriend and he was romantic and yeah, okay.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Tickles your pickle. Yeah you go, baby, you go.
- 11:03Speaker 1: All right. So here's one that I'm a little I'm
- 11:06Speaker 1: just I've been upset about it. I'm still upset. I
- 11:09Speaker 1: can't see to get past it.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Yep, I mean, come on, not repinely farness.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I loved her and Hugh Jackman together, I really really did.
- 11:18Speaker 1: And apparently she's shopping a bombshell tell all, but this
- 11:22Speaker 1: one really got to me. And I know we were
- 11:24Speaker 1: talking earlier a little bit about it, and there were
- 11:26Speaker 1: rumors that he was gay, but he seemed to adore her,
- 11:31Speaker 1: and I was bombed when they announced they're split. And
- 11:36Speaker 1: now I'm going to be really bummed. If she starts
- 11:38Speaker 1: to talk about him not being a good guy, I
- 11:40Speaker 1: all bets her off. I'm going to bed.
- 11:42Speaker 2: She seems to have some class, though.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I am just telling you right now that if Hugh
- 11:46Speaker 1: Jackman is not a good man and a kind man
- 11:50Speaker 1: and an honorable man, I don't want to hear it.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Come on, we all have our skeletons.
- 11:55Speaker 1: No, not Hugh Jackman.
- 11:56Speaker 2: He's not a cartoon.
- 11:57Speaker 1: But Hugh Jackman. Please, I love him. I love him.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I love him. Listen, We're human, I know, I mean,
- 12:05Speaker 1: I think that she probably felt betrayed. I know there
- 12:07Speaker 1: was the whole thing with Sudden Foster Broadway star, and
- 12:10Speaker 1: they got together seemed very quickly. I don't know if
- 12:13Speaker 1: maybe he was cheating with her. The whole thing bums
- 12:16Speaker 1: me out.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Hey, it happens quite often, more than we know, I think,
- 12:22Speaker 2: and it is a shame because it just makes you
- 12:24Speaker 2: just have no hope you're a single woman.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Hugh Jackman's Yeah, it has nothing to do.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I mean, look, I just hope that she just tells
- 12:32Speaker 2: her side of the story. And if you just stick
- 12:33Speaker 2: to the way you feel. My therapist always taught me this,
- 12:36Speaker 2: then you're good. You cleaned your side of the street. Right.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It's just when you start to make accusations, and you know,
- 12:43Speaker 2: assumptions or accuse people, it just never looks good or
- 12:46Speaker 2: sounds good.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Would you ever consider writing book?
- 12:50Speaker 2: I have? But not about my actor divorce? No, I
- 12:52Speaker 2: mean about your divorce. Never. No, why because it's something
- 12:56Speaker 2: I want to keep to myself. It's really none of
- 12:58Speaker 2: it's what I'm saying.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I mean, I wish she wasn't writing.
- 12:59Speaker 2: A book, But maybe it's not about that. Maybe it's
- 13:02Speaker 2: about more about her perspective and just living under his
- 13:05Speaker 2: head like under him.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Well, they called it a bombshell tell all.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Well, they don't know that for sure. This is an assumption.
- 13:12Speaker 1: It's true.
- 13:13Speaker 2: And let me tell you, especially lately, you can't believe
- 13:16Speaker 2: everything you read.
- 13:17Speaker 1: A men's sister, And I know exactly what you're talking about.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I'm with you, Yeah, you really can with you. Yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 1: but would you write a tell all?
- 13:25Speaker 2: I just I don't know.
- 13:27Speaker 1: When I write a tell all. Well, first of all,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I don't know if I was divorced and angry about it.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Or like when you were divorced.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, when I was separated, separated, when my friend's out
- 13:37Speaker 1: of divorced. So I'm glad I didn't write a tell
- 13:39Speaker 1: all at that point. No, But do you know why
- 13:41Speaker 1: I wouldn't though? So my husband, who was almost my
- 13:46Speaker 1: ex husband, he it was our separation was never a
- 13:50Speaker 1: bad he was a shitty guy or shitty to me,
- 13:52Speaker 1: or a bad father or a bad husband. We just
- 13:55Speaker 1: were disconnected. The last thing I would have wanted to do,
- 13:59Speaker 1: which is probably were able to get back together, is
- 14:00Speaker 1: hurt him. You know, that was always part of why
- 14:03Speaker 1: we couldn't get divorced. We were both like, yeah, I
- 14:06Speaker 1: don't know, it's not about about that, but I so
- 14:09Speaker 1: so about Jeff. And not only that, Jeff Bessler is
- 14:11Speaker 1: the straightest lay. There will be nothing interesting to write about.
- 14:15Speaker 1: So I can write a tell all though about my family,
- 14:18Speaker 1: or not my entire family, but things my youth, my past.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yes, as long as it's focused on you, then that's fine.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I think it's when you.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Want it to be like cathartic, not to hurt anyone.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I mean, that's what I did with my book when
- 14:31Speaker 2: I I mean, I talked, well, it's the first time
- 14:32Speaker 2: I talked about being molested as a little girl. It
- 14:36Speaker 2: was very therapeutic. It was scary. But again, like, I'm
- 14:39Speaker 2: not talking about anything outside of me, right, Like, I'm
- 14:42Speaker 2: just talking about my experiences. And people can get offended
- 14:46Speaker 2: if she does that with this book that's going to
- 14:48Speaker 2: come out. But at the end of the day, again,
- 14:49Speaker 2: if you stick to your experience, you can't really be
- 14:53Speaker 2: upset about that.
- 14:54Speaker 1: It's not even offended or even judgmental about it. I'm
- 14:56Speaker 1: just more disappointed I have this you know, I know
- 14:58Speaker 1: it's not perfect and we know no, but he is.
- 15:00Speaker 1: But I have loved him for so long anyway.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I mean, you can love the imperfection too. Yeah, nope,
- 15:09Speaker 2: moving on, moving on. So Chris Martin and Sophie Turner. So,
- 15:14Speaker 2: Sophie Turner was married to a friend of mine, Joe Jonas.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I did show with him. See, Yeah, he's a great guy.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I never ran into him though when he married Sophie Turner.
- 15:26Speaker 2: So I don't know really what that relationship was like.
- 15:29Speaker 2: But Chris Martin and Sophie Turner are moving on together.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Wait, Joe Jonas was not the one with type one diabetes.
- 15:37Speaker 2: That one. That's the other one. That's uh, yes, who's
- 15:42Speaker 2: married to Priyanka or something.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yes, And I was always keyed into that because of
- 15:47Speaker 1: my daughter loving type one. But anyway she does, she does. Yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Hi, thank you, but we can talk. Thank you.
- 15:56Speaker 1: She's had since she was twelve. Wow. There are many, many,
- 16:00Speaker 1: many hard parts of it. But I appreciate that Nick
- 16:03Speaker 1: Jonas is he's a great advocate.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 1: And also the idea that because a lot of people
- 16:07Speaker 1: confused type two with type one, and so that's hard,
- 16:11Speaker 1: especially when she was younger and she was people judging
- 16:14Speaker 1: what she was eating. It had nothing to do with
- 16:15Speaker 1: what she was eating. Right, so right or my style.
- 16:18Speaker 2: These boys, though, I have to say I've hung out
- 16:21Speaker 2: with them quite often, like back in our days, you know,
- 16:25Speaker 2: when I especially when I was doing the show with Joe,
- 16:27Speaker 2: and they're really good, solid guys, even the whole family is.
- 16:30Speaker 2: You know.
- 16:31Speaker 1: They're from Wykoff, which is right like almost like a
- 16:34Speaker 1: neighboring town here.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Oh cool. I think the other brother lives there.
- 16:38Speaker 1: He's like a builder for a while. Yeah.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Yeah. I just love that they reunited and they were
- 16:42Speaker 2: on tour again. This is not what this is about.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But we can't have it.
- 16:47Speaker 2: But Chris Martin and so I mean, yes, what do
- 16:51Speaker 2: you think of that?
- 16:51Speaker 1: I think that I was so obsessed with Chris Martin
- 16:56Speaker 1: and Dakota Johnson. I know what happened, I don't know,
- 17:00Speaker 1: but I find both of those two people so beautiful
- 17:04Speaker 1: and sexy.
- 17:05Speaker 2: She's so sexy to me, like I'm believing I'm I'm straight, okay,
- 17:08Speaker 2: but like she's something very very mysterious about her.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred percent. Let the bangs like yours.
- 17:17Speaker 2: She's just gorgeous.
- 17:18Speaker 1: There's something so anyway, So I was a little thrown
- 17:21Speaker 1: that they broke up for some reason. I thought that
- 17:23Speaker 1: that was going to last. And I don't know in
- 17:26Speaker 1: terms of him and Sophie Turner, I mean, they had
- 17:28Speaker 1: the British thing in common, right, and apparently she had
- 17:31Speaker 1: had a crush on him for a while even when
- 17:33Speaker 1: she was introduced her right or did like a right
- 17:37Speaker 1: like a birthday, like a birthday, that's cameo, almost right, great, yep, yep.
- 17:43Speaker 1: So I mean there are two more beautiful people.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I guess nineteen year age difference between them. I mean,
- 17:50Speaker 2: I actually my partner, my dance competitive partner prior to
- 17:54Speaker 2: me moving to LA, before I did dancing, that was
- 17:56Speaker 2: the same age gap. I don't think it's a big
- 17:58Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sure it is.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Wait how many how many years? Nineteen years? I don't know,
- 18:04Speaker 1: you know what. In this world, especially this world of celebrities,
- 18:08Speaker 1: it's you know, I'm used to it now.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Age is just a number.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Age is just a number. They both have kids.
- 18:16Speaker 2: She's a single mom.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Right, His kids are obviously older.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I just hope no one got hurt in the process,
- 18:21Speaker 2: you know too. I mean, like I think that they
- 18:25Speaker 2: were really sly though. The way that Chris and Dakota
- 18:27Speaker 2: broke up was so like under the radar I feel.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Like I don't know America race.
- 18:32Speaker 2: No, I feel like Chris Martin gets such like hot women.
- 18:45Speaker 2: He went from Gwyneth Paltrow musician. I mean he is
- 18:49Speaker 2: he could sing to me, and he's not my type.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I don't find him, not me either, basically, but that's
- 18:54Speaker 1: okay once he starts singing, I do.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I mean, have you been to his concert? It was
- 18:58Speaker 2: the best concert ever?
- 19:00Speaker 1: Really?
- 19:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah, made him even hotter.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Him and Jennifer Lawrence were even right, remember him and
- 19:06Speaker 1: Jennifer Lawrence that happened hot second. Yeah, he does very well.
- 19:11Speaker 1: He does pretty well for himself.
- 19:12Speaker 2: He just needs to sing that.
- 19:13Speaker 1: No, I don't find him. I mean he's not my
- 19:15Speaker 1: type for sure, but you know, once he starts singing,
- 19:19Speaker 1: all bets are off. I mean that's it.
- 19:21Speaker 2: You know. It's the same thing with dancing, Like if
- 19:22Speaker 2: I see a really good dancer who's like super masculine
- 19:27Speaker 2: and just like confident, which is hard to find, you know,
- 19:30Speaker 2: because look, it is what it is, especially in the
- 19:32Speaker 2: ball room industry. You know, it's interesting. I when I
- 19:36Speaker 2: was a competitor, I was had the hots for everybody
- 19:38Speaker 2: that could dance, like the top set finalists. I was like, Oh, yeah,
- 19:41Speaker 2: you're hot. You're hot, you're gay, it doesn't matter.
- 19:43Speaker 1: You're hot. You're hot. Like yeah, wait, so can you
- 19:46Speaker 1: tell me you like, who of all your partners or
- 19:49Speaker 1: even contestants, can you say about what?
- 19:52Speaker 2: No, I'm talking about my my competitive life, which is
- 19:54Speaker 2: a life. Talking about your dancing on the stars, No, no,
- 19:58Speaker 2: they're not stars. If I have to actually teach you
- 20:01Speaker 2: how to dance, No, you're not hot.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Any of the other one. Okay, sorry, I'm just digging.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Okays weekly, Yes, exactly right.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Talk about Britney Snow, let's.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Talk about her. Did you watch that Netflix series that
- 20:13Speaker 2: she was just a part of.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but what was it called?
- 20:15Speaker 3: Again?
- 20:15Speaker 1: I did, don't know, but it was freaking made wise
- 20:20Speaker 1: hunting Wise. And it's funny because I so and I
- 20:24Speaker 1: knew I knew her because she's another beauty. But I
- 20:28Speaker 1: loved her in Pitch Perfect and there are certain scenes
- 20:31Speaker 1: with her that I just will never forget, like the
- 20:33Speaker 1: one where she opens the curtain on Anna Kendrick when
- 20:39Speaker 1: she's singing and she's like, it's all excited. And she
- 20:41Speaker 1: was in Hairspray too, I mean she's but yeah, so
- 20:43Speaker 1: I'm watching Hunting wives, and it took me a minute,
- 20:46Speaker 1: even though I.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Know, you know, you know her mm hmm, yeah, no,
- 20:49Speaker 2: I definitely back in my clubbing days. I think she
- 20:52Speaker 2: was dating one of my friends who went out a
- 20:55Speaker 2: lot as well, and we like we just you know,
- 20:57Speaker 2: cross paths. And she seems really sweet and humble and
- 21:01Speaker 2: has stayed that way.
- 21:02Speaker 1: It seems like, yep, yeah, she had a hard time
- 21:05Speaker 1: when she split from I was right standalone.
- 21:08Speaker 2: When you go through any type of heartbreak or split,
- 21:11Speaker 2: Like for me, at least, i'm I don't eat either,
- 21:13Speaker 2: Like that's my way of handling the stress. I think
- 21:16Speaker 2: it's different for people, certain people, right, some people like
- 21:19Speaker 2: to stress eat and I just food is the last
- 21:22Speaker 2: thing I ever want when I'm going through something so painful.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I never thought I would get to a place in
- 21:28Speaker 1: my life where that I I like, that happened to
- 21:32Speaker 1: me where I would actually lose my appetite because I
- 21:34Speaker 1: was I was riddled with eating disorders, you know, growing
- 21:37Speaker 1: up and into my twenties. But now I don't know
- 21:40Speaker 1: if it's since my kid's been born, or when I
- 21:43Speaker 1: get anxious, I can't eat and I get this like
- 21:47Speaker 1: feeling that wells up in me and I just the
- 21:49Speaker 1: last thing I could do was like ingest shoe. Yeah yeah,
- 21:52Speaker 1: But it wasn't like that when I was younger. Usually
- 21:55Speaker 1: when I was younger, I was driven to eat.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Oh interesting.
- 21:58Speaker 1: But as I've gotten older, I definitely when I get
- 22:01Speaker 1: nervous and anxious, I just basically usually I just curl
- 22:03Speaker 1: up in my bed in a very tight ball and.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Yeah and hope and hope it was a bad dream.
- 22:09Speaker 2: What I love about this article, though, is that she's
- 22:11Speaker 2: really promoting the fact that she was really loving her
- 22:15Speaker 2: little girl inside of her and the way that she
- 22:17Speaker 2: was showing compassion and the self talk. I definitely can
- 22:23Speaker 2: take a page out of her book, because I think
- 22:26Speaker 2: that really is so important. It's more important than we think,
- 22:29Speaker 2: Like we all have that little person inside of us
- 22:31Speaker 2: that was not either properly raised or that needs that
- 22:35Speaker 2: mothering that maybe did they didn't get. And I think
- 22:38Speaker 2: it's so easy for me, at least to the negative
- 22:42Speaker 2: self talk really gets loud, especially because you know, I
- 22:45Speaker 2: live a welle and sometimes you know it's just you
- 22:47Speaker 2: don't you're not really aware of it unless you're a
- 22:50Speaker 2: freaking you know monk, But like you know, I know,
- 22:54Speaker 2: I have thoughts in my head.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I have I have become with therapy, many many, many
- 22:58Speaker 1: years of therapy because my therapist also says that I
- 23:00Speaker 1: have to like big girl Jennifer has to embrace a
- 23:02Speaker 1: little girl Jennifer if you guys, by the way, whoever's listening,
- 23:05Speaker 1: So she talked, so Brittany would say to herself, okay, baby,
- 23:08Speaker 1: like I'm just gonna read it straight from this article.
- 23:11Speaker 1: A kay, baby girl, do you want a bagel? Let's
- 23:13Speaker 1: get you a bagel. We're gonna toast it. We're gonna
- 23:15Speaker 1: put some cream cheese on it, said all you can eat. Okay,
- 23:19Speaker 1: that's okay.
- 23:19Speaker 2: And that is because of her split from her ex.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Yes, but I know that a lot of times my
- 23:25Speaker 1: own therapist will say when I get upset, like almost
- 23:29Speaker 1: like how to almost like embrace myself. You know what
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm saying, like, put my arms and talk to myself,
- 23:34Speaker 1: is it?
- 23:35Speaker 2: Yes?
- 23:35Speaker 1: And remind myself that I'm an adult, right and what's
- 23:38Speaker 1: happening inside me is not feeling very adult or feels
- 23:43Speaker 1: like a scared little girl triggered. Yes, yes, when you
- 23:46Speaker 1: get triggered like that, and yeah, I think that's really
- 23:49Speaker 1: cool and really cool to share because I don't hear
- 23:51Speaker 1: people share that often, and it reminded me of what
- 23:54Speaker 1: I'm often told to do in therapy.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Right, I don't think a lot of people do this,
- 23:58Speaker 2: Like I think that you have to be here very
- 24:00Speaker 2: intentional and very self aware to even catch yourself and
- 24:05Speaker 2: the self talk to even know if you're doing if
- 24:07Speaker 2: you're saying negative things to yourself or not. Like to
- 24:10Speaker 2: even know that is pretty spectacular.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Actually, I agree. I agree. I'm happy here because I
- 24:18Speaker 1: love Yeah, I do too.
- 24:19Speaker 2: I love the message.
- 24:20Speaker 1: You know, I do too. No, I'm telling you that's
- 24:22Speaker 1: like anybody listening will spend a lot of money on
- 24:25Speaker 1: therapy to learn that.
- 24:26Speaker 2: So yeah, you and me both, I'm going to do
- 24:28Speaker 2: it for the rest of my life.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and the breed and also to breed to
- 24:32Speaker 1: breathe to remind myself right, Oh yeah.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Breath is so important. Like I only know that through
- 24:37Speaker 2: because of dancing, But like if I wasn't dancing, I
- 24:40Speaker 2: don't think I'd have any sense of any body awareness. Breath.
- 24:43Speaker 2: How breath can literally change the way you feel and.
- 24:47Speaker 1: A second, your autonomic nervous system if you.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Everything, Oh yeah, it can change. It can from fear
- 24:54Speaker 2: to like just calmness in a matter of seconds if
- 24:57Speaker 2: you turn into your breath. But obviously there's certain techniques.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Do you listen to doctor Huberman his podcast? Oh fascinating.
- 25:05Speaker 2: I'm just so fascinated by just just how our brain works. Right,
- 25:09Speaker 2: and he's an I will I'll send you his podcast.
- 25:13Speaker 2: It's fascinating. Okay, good on you, Britney Snell. Congrats. I'm
- 25:19Speaker 2: gonna definitely try that. Hopefully it works.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, do.
- 25:23Speaker 2: You want to talk about Tory spelling? This is yeah
- 25:27Speaker 2: so sad.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I mean, listen, that's just been ugly for so long.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, core Tori, Yeah, you know,
- 25:35Speaker 1: I don't always mean by the way, I don't know
- 25:36Speaker 1: if it sounds like does he think it sounds like
- 25:39Speaker 1: we're always sort of more sympathetic to the woman, and
- 25:44Speaker 1: maybe when we were women. I think that would be
- 25:46Speaker 1: our inclination.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I think in this world we need it now more
- 25:49Speaker 2: than ever, because I'm pretty sure women are attacking women.
- 25:52Speaker 2: It's pretty it's happening often.
- 25:55Speaker 1: What have you watched Real Housewives on New Jersey, Cholbern.
- 25:57Speaker 2: No, I've just watched my social media, my social media accounts.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I mean they're just borderline like it's so toxic and
- 26:05Speaker 2: I cannot avoid it obviously, right, Yeah, yeah, I do
- 26:09Speaker 2: want coming at me all women, it's all women? Is
- 26:12Speaker 2: it really all women?
- 26:14Speaker 1: So depressing?
- 26:16Speaker 2: I mean it just shows you that so this whole time,
- 26:19Speaker 2: then when you're saying women support women, we're all full
- 26:22Speaker 2: of dead because it's like I've noticed a pattern too.
- 26:25Speaker 2: It's like when you look good, when you feel good,
- 26:28Speaker 2: when you just really do like feel like yourself, that's
- 26:31Speaker 2: when people try and tear you down. And then it's
- 26:34Speaker 2: when you are the opposite or you're struggling and they
- 26:37Speaker 2: see that, then they're there for you.
- 26:39Speaker 1: It's interesting and I think it's all about feeling less than,
- 26:43Speaker 1: not enough.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Yeah. Well when I was a little girl, is what
- 26:45Speaker 2: I was going to say that that is the reason,
- 26:47Speaker 2: because I didn't feel supported and loved enough, I think
- 26:50Speaker 2: as who I was. That's why I found my identity
- 26:53Speaker 2: outside of myself. And that's now what I'm dealing with today.
- 26:57Speaker 2: It's like I am enough without whatever it is that
- 27:00Speaker 2: I think I was, because that has nothing to do
- 27:03Speaker 2: with the person that I am. Right, I am enough
- 27:06Speaker 2: regardless of what I'm doing as far as my job
- 27:09Speaker 2: goes or my or my love life or whatever it is,
- 27:12Speaker 2: it doesn't matter.
- 27:14Speaker 1: You know, my therapist and this is something that has
- 27:18Speaker 1: I don't know why. Some certain things that you learn
- 27:20Speaker 1: in therapy, right, they are they stick and they help
- 27:24Speaker 1: and they help and they help and they help. So
- 27:27Speaker 1: she one day she just held up this pencil and
- 27:29Speaker 1: she said to me that, so life is not I
- 27:34Speaker 1: don't know about life, but let's say even there's this feeling,
- 27:37Speaker 1: especially with fame, right that you're either at the top,
- 27:41Speaker 1: and if you're at the top, you're always worried about
- 27:42Speaker 1: the fall. Right, you're at the top, and the energy
- 27:46Speaker 1: is about your energy becomes about that. You know, when
- 27:49Speaker 1: you're not or you're at the bottom, you feel or
- 27:53Speaker 1: you feel like you're at the bottom. Right, But the
- 27:55Speaker 1: the ideal place to be is over here outside of
- 27:59Speaker 1: that and in dignity, right, in dignity and peace, knowing
- 28:03Speaker 1: that and gratitude and gratitude, knowing that no matter what,
- 28:07Speaker 1: you're just as special as you're just as special and
- 28:11Speaker 1: no more special than the person next to you. We
- 28:13Speaker 1: all hate polls, yes, and we are all there's without
- 28:17Speaker 1: doing anything, we are we are one.
- 28:20Speaker 2: I know that sounds ye, so cheesy, but seriously, we are.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I agree, I agree, And.
- 28:26Speaker 2: It's society that puts you on a pedestal and then
- 28:29Speaker 2: you either believe it and you go a little.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Deluttle the trick. That's the trick when you get any
- 28:34Speaker 1: kind I think of fame or even success in life,
- 28:37Speaker 1: to not feed into that, right, it's so hard that
- 28:40Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, but awareness, awareness, that's why it's
- 28:44Speaker 1: better to be famous when you're older. I had the
- 28:48Speaker 1: whole time as soon as I started house I thank
- 28:50Speaker 1: god it was in therapy for you know, twenty years
- 28:52Speaker 1: before and continued it. But that was a big part
- 28:55Speaker 1: of it for me once I got on the show.
- 28:57Speaker 1: And I don't have a kind of fame obviously that
- 28:59Speaker 1: you have or whatever.
- 29:00Speaker 2: You can't. I mean, you don't need to measure it.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Well, even a little bit of it is do things
- 29:04Speaker 1: to your head.
- 29:05Speaker 2: It's social media. Everyone goes through it too, everyone.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Talking about how it doesn't matter how everyone sees me.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I'm not at the top and I'm not at the bottom.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I'm out, I'm not even I'm like away from that line.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Try to be you know, living in dignity blah blah blah,
- 29:20Speaker 1: and not no one's better than me, and I'm not
- 29:21Speaker 1: better than anyone.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Correct, And the noise does get loud. Yeah, So I
- 29:26Speaker 2: mean I wonder how Tory feels though, because Toy has
- 29:28Speaker 2: been like she's been raised in this type of environment
- 29:32Speaker 2: like she, I would assume she only knows that life
- 29:35Speaker 2: of celebrity, right.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, listen, I think that even from her beginning,
- 29:40Speaker 1: right with nine to two and zero, everyone assumed it
- 29:42Speaker 1: assumed that she was it was all about being an
- 29:44Speaker 1: EPO baby. And yeah, and she came from this royal
- 29:48Speaker 1: family in Hollywood. Talk about getting beat up online and
- 29:52Speaker 1: this is you know, going back years fully, Yeah, well
- 29:56Speaker 1: back back in the day, because what's unless I'm screwing
- 29:59Speaker 1: this up? But he was married when they got together.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I think I have no idea what I have to ask?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Yesther says yes, and she got a lot of shit
- 30:07Speaker 1: about it.
- 30:08Speaker 2: So she was the other woman.
- 30:10Speaker 1: She was the other woman, I got it. And they
- 30:13Speaker 1: were madly, madly, madly in love.
- 30:15Speaker 2: And he wasn't already separated or anything.
- 30:18Speaker 1: No, I don't think so. I mean it happened so
- 30:21Speaker 1: famous too, who was it?
- 30:23Speaker 2: Well, oh, they met on a movie.
- 30:25Speaker 1: So she had to endure that write Everyone's judgment Dean
- 30:28Speaker 1: oh McDermott. Hello, Okay, So yeah, they had to deal
- 30:35Speaker 1: with a lot of that, and I was rooting for
- 30:37Speaker 1: them today. I got a lot of kids, tons tons
- 30:41Speaker 1: of kids.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I did run into her, and when I had my
- 30:44Speaker 2: other podcast with iHeart and I was in NAPA and
- 30:47Speaker 2: she was there, we didn't get to talk much. I mean,
- 30:49Speaker 2: she also did Dancing with the Stars. I was so
- 30:51Speaker 2: proud of her for doing Dancing with the Stars because
- 30:54Speaker 2: she's been asked, I would say every single season and
- 30:57Speaker 2: she said, and I would try and convince her, like
- 30:59Speaker 2: just like nicely convincerr obviously, you know, you still need
- 31:02Speaker 2: to tell these people the truth of what the actual
- 31:05Speaker 2: thing is, what they're going to be stepping into. But
- 31:07Speaker 2: overall it was such a great experience. She had one
- 31:10Speaker 2: of the best partners, Pasha. I'm just happy she did
- 31:12Speaker 2: it because it's very much also an individual like achievement
- 31:16Speaker 2: as these celebrities come on because it is hard, right
- 31:19Speaker 2: and if you can get through it, no matter how
- 31:21Speaker 2: long you last, you feel so proud of yourself.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Is that what you tell people before they do it, Like,
- 31:24Speaker 1: what was your warning to her if.
- 31:26Speaker 2: They ask questions like, is it seven days a week? Yes,
- 31:29Speaker 2: it is seven days a week.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Right, but it's also for hours.
- 31:31Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be seven days a week. But
- 31:33Speaker 2: it's set your own risk because you're the one dancing, right, So.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I always wonder, like how when it starts?
- 31:39Speaker 2: It's not twenty four hours? Don't it's not big brother
- 31:41Speaker 2: right of course.
- 31:41Speaker 1: But I'm saying I know, but I'm saying, like people's
- 31:44Speaker 1: bodies that aren't in shape, right, and like, how do
- 31:48Speaker 1: you It must be so shocking.
- 31:50Speaker 2: To it's shocking to people whose bodies are in shape too,
- 31:54Speaker 2: because this is a way different way. You're not just it.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I mean, the way we move our bodies is not normal.
- 32:00Speaker 2: You're forcing your bodies to move ways that is not natural.
- 32:04Speaker 2: And the more awkward it feels, the better it looks
- 32:07Speaker 2: from the outside in.
- 32:08Speaker 1: All Right, you and I can go off on like tangents,
- 32:11Speaker 1: go ahead, it's really fun. But okay, I'm trying to like,
- 32:15Speaker 1: what is this what is this podcast about? Oh, divorce? Divorce?
- 32:18Speaker 2: Well, you know, there's so many different meanings of divorce,
- 32:20Speaker 2: but Tori spelling. Basically, she settles her divorce finally right
- 32:23Speaker 2: with Dean. She's requesting for spousal support two years after separating.
- 32:27Speaker 1: So yeah, so she she has requested spousal, spousal and
- 32:32Speaker 1: child support, and so I guess they got. They filed
- 32:37Speaker 1: for divorce they feel like pretty recently.
- 32:39Speaker 2: So it obviously didn't end well.
- 32:40Speaker 1: So the filing didn't indicate whether or not they had
- 32:43Speaker 1: a prenup in place.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so, which means most likely that that wasn't the case.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah right, Oh, well, more, I love her. I do
- 32:50Speaker 2: love Tori, so I'm just wishing her so much love.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I met her once at a an iHeart thing and
- 32:56Speaker 1: she was so so so sweet to me.
- 32:59Speaker 2: She is a sweet person, she really is, genuinely.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Golden Bachelor, jeez, Louise, I've never seen one episode of
- 33:17Speaker 2: The Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor, Paradise, whatever the heck, I've never
- 33:22Speaker 2: not interested.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Well, I will tell you that I have many, many,
- 33:26Speaker 1: many I have seen many, many many, and the Golden Bachelor.
- 33:29Speaker 1: And I am friends with Teresa.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Oh so okay, yeah, just so you know, after reading
- 33:34Speaker 2: this whole long ass article, I'm also on Teresa's side.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Just FYI.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Well, I will tell you that, talk about a sweet,
- 33:42Speaker 1: kind human, he seems what a doll and I did
- 33:46Speaker 1: watch The Golden Bachelor and I interviewed a few of
- 33:48Speaker 1: those folks and she was just she's a special person.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Did you know Teresa prior to her being on the podcast?
- 33:56Speaker 1: No, I didn't, but we were actually all in Tahoe
- 33:59Speaker 1: together for yeah, and it was it was really great
- 34:03Speaker 1: and Leslie who was on Golden Bauchler two and that
- 34:07Speaker 1: she went really really far. And but anyway, so apparently,
- 34:12Speaker 1: according to Teresa, he said some whack a dutally dud
- 34:17Speaker 1: really kind of scary, right.
- 34:19Speaker 2: I mean red flag?
- 34:21Speaker 1: Well, yeah, red was dark with the red black. I
- 34:24Speaker 1: don't know. So apparently she went to his house and
- 34:26Speaker 1: they took a walk around. They called it pretty lake
- 34:30Speaker 1: and he she said they were coming to the end
- 34:34Speaker 1: of the lake and he goes, do you see that's
- 34:37Speaker 1: shit up there? Uh, that's where I'm going to hide
- 34:40Speaker 1: your body after I kill you and chalk.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Cut you up into pieces like that is crazy, And
- 34:46Speaker 2: she said.
- 34:46Speaker 1: She was laughing, her nervous laugh, but he was.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Not, Okay, that is crazy. I would have ran for
- 34:52Speaker 2: the hills.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know how in what context that was
- 34:57Speaker 1: you ever ask me. I didn't know about this. So
- 35:00Speaker 1: when I when Teresa and I became friends, I knew
- 35:03Speaker 1: that it was not good, but this just came out
- 35:08Speaker 1: so and she didn't mention it to me at all, right, creepy.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah, so he seems to be a little bit of
- 35:15Speaker 2: an attention grabber.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Uh.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Yes, I think he loved you.
- 35:18Speaker 2: I think he loved the attention a little bit. Now,
- 35:21Speaker 2: mind you, there's two sides to every story. Absolutely, but
- 35:25Speaker 2: I don't know it was all a little I mean,
- 35:28Speaker 2: like I said, I never watched it, but yet I
- 35:29Speaker 2: felt emotionally connected when they said they were divorcing after
- 35:33Speaker 2: just like a couple of days of being married.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Right, Yes, Well, I think also, I guess this was reacting.
- 35:41Speaker 1: This just came out like yes, because of his book, right,
- 35:44Speaker 1: and so maybe she was reacting to that. I mean,
- 35:49Speaker 1: she said, she goes, I don't think he would have
- 35:51Speaker 1: killed me. He says, I don't think that was true.
- 35:55Speaker 1: It just spoke to an underlying feeling about me, like
- 35:59Speaker 1: he wanted she felt like he just wanted to get
- 36:00Speaker 1: rid of her.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Right, that's so odd. Okay, So basically The Golden Bachelor
- 36:05Speaker 2: detailed his romance with his final Rose winner in his
- 36:08Speaker 2: memoir Golden Years. She's laying out her own perspective and
- 36:12Speaker 2: recently shared an unsettling memory with her former husband. Okay,
- 36:16Speaker 2: so yes, so this is why this is all happening. Okay,
- 36:21Speaker 2: got it.
- 36:21Speaker 1: God, she's reacting to all of his claims.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Well, there was quite a few from what I read.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Look, I there's been bachelor bachelorette contestants on Dancing with
- 36:31Speaker 2: the Stars, and I believe that. Look, it's not normal
- 36:35Speaker 2: the situation you're put in, right, Like everything moves so fast,
- 36:39Speaker 2: and then yeah, there is that moment of silent or
- 36:41Speaker 2: quiet time where it hasn't been announced who the winner is,
- 36:45Speaker 2: and then you have to do this like hide out.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Like it's just not a normal environment.
- 36:50Speaker 1: It seems like it would be romantic, but it's probably intense.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sure, because like the camera is like some
- 36:57Speaker 2: you know, people don't know. Sometimes you perform in front
- 36:59Speaker 2: of the cameras, you don't know you're performing right, right,
- 37:03Speaker 2: you know, you're very aware of it, and then all
- 37:04Speaker 2: of a sudden's true, they're not there, and you're like, wait,
- 37:07Speaker 2: who is this person who's not always on?
- 37:10Speaker 1: Right?
- 37:10Speaker 2: Like I know I'm not always on in normal life.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Me neither, you know, it was nice about Golden because
- 37:16Speaker 1: you don't watch it, but as opposed to the others
- 37:19Speaker 1: the Bachelor, Beginning Bachelor, and Bachelorette, the Golden Bachelor's I
- 37:24Speaker 1: felt like it was a very inspiring show and not listen.
- 37:29Speaker 1: They even had like Bachelor's in Paradise, they had both
- 37:32Speaker 1: the golden and the younger ones, and the younger ones
- 37:35Speaker 1: were almost condescending, like, oh, they're so cute, they're look
- 37:40Speaker 1: at them thing. But like when it was just the
- 37:43Speaker 1: Golden Bachelor, it was really nice and see how older
- 37:47Speaker 1: people also, how like the guys interacted with each other
- 37:51Speaker 1: like a gentleman. For the bachelorette was so great and
- 37:54Speaker 1: even and the women they were actually making friends and
- 37:57Speaker 1: all of that was very inspiring. But in the end
- 38:00Speaker 1: it did not work out, and she actually said that
- 38:02Speaker 1: he wanted her to quit working.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Well, they said that they supposedly discussed this and she
- 38:07Speaker 2: was going she said that she was going to quit.
- 38:09Speaker 2: From his side of the story, right right, I don't
- 38:12Speaker 2: think he should ever expect anybody to change their lives
- 38:15Speaker 2: for you, if you know what I mean, Like, you
- 38:17Speaker 2: can't change anybody right well.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Right, I mean, yeah, he's retired. I guess he wanted
- 38:21Speaker 1: her to hang out with him. I would never be
- 38:23Speaker 1: able to sleep for independence, and yes, exactly get.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Some insurance on that body of yours.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you. But you know, I don't, like I
- 38:31Speaker 1: said to you before, I'm not obviously I don't. I
- 38:33Speaker 1: wasn't there, even though I'm friends with Teresa and he
- 38:36Speaker 1: does a pod with Amy Robach and t J. Holmes
- 38:39Speaker 1: that you guys can listen to, so I would be
- 38:42Speaker 1: interested to hear in hearing his and no one does
- 38:45Speaker 1: a pod like those two, so I would be interested
- 38:47Speaker 1: in hearing you know what he had to say. So,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I mean, and it's I thought that because maybe of
- 38:53Speaker 1: their age, they would be able to keep it nice.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Oh well, well, I do believe though that maybe. Do
- 38:59Speaker 2: you think the network had anything to do with the
- 39:00Speaker 2: fact that they had to announce it publicly that they
- 39:02Speaker 2: were going to separate because it was so soon, right,
- 39:05Speaker 2: So I think it is whole thing.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Yes, I think, I think, Yes, I think they did.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I guess there's a I guess you sign a contract
- 39:10Speaker 1: of course.
- 39:11Speaker 2: And by the way, like the amount of just everything,
- 39:14Speaker 2: I mean, they even said this in the article. Someone
- 39:16Speaker 2: referred to the fact that they didn't want to back out.
- 39:18Speaker 2: I mean the production of it, the people pleasing, the
- 39:21Speaker 2: fact that they you know, all these people traveled to
- 39:24Speaker 2: be there at their wedding. It's like that was on
- 39:26Speaker 2: TV and not the way I get it world right. Yeah,
- 39:30Speaker 2: it's a lot, it is, And you're not thinking about
- 39:32Speaker 2: yourself though you should because this is your day. You're
- 39:34Speaker 2: thinking about crap. I have people traveling from across the
- 39:38Speaker 2: world to come here, Like you're like, but this is
- 39:40Speaker 2: the rest of my life. It makes no sense now,
- 39:43Speaker 2: right if you think about it in like right, But
- 39:45Speaker 2: then when you're in a dress already and it's like
- 39:48Speaker 2: count down till the freaking prince and princess gets married,
- 39:50Speaker 2: you're gonna do it. You're doing it with a smile
- 39:52Speaker 2: on your face.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Well, he's already found someone else. Apparently he's already engaged,
- 39:57Speaker 1: So you know, would you do it? Would you go on?
- 40:00Speaker 4: No?
- 40:00Speaker 1: I know you wouldn't. Of course you wouldn't the bachelor.
- 40:03Speaker 2: No, there was talk of this many eons ago. But
- 40:06Speaker 2: I would have after it back back then when I
- 40:09Speaker 2: was drinking.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Probably, well, if I was single, I think I would.
- 40:13Speaker 2: You would. Yeah, I could see you on it, really,
- 40:17Speaker 2: you know, what I can only assume this though, is
- 40:19Speaker 2: that I believe maybe was there a sense of like
- 40:22Speaker 2: just authenticity when you saw The Golden Bachelor, because they
- 40:25Speaker 2: weren't putting on a show.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Definitely from so during the Golden Bachelor, the women specifically felt,
- 40:32Speaker 1: they were not just felt because we I've actually interviewed
- 40:35Speaker 1: a few of them and they are authentic and on
- 40:38Speaker 1: the show. I what I saw on the show was
- 40:41Speaker 1: what I got, you know, when I was talking to
- 40:43Speaker 1: them on the pod and Esa and Leslie off the pod.
- 40:47Speaker 1: So yes. And in terms of the guys, you know
- 40:50Speaker 1: on the Bachelorette, they were adorable, they bonded and it.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Was a friendship special thrette right, yes.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Yes, well that was what was I think that show
- 40:59Speaker 1: so special? Yes, because you're mature enough that it's that
- 41:03Speaker 1: is important friendship, right.
- 41:05Speaker 2: But the Golden is specific because I don't know if
- 41:07Speaker 2: the other ones do that. Maybe they do.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't know about this season just not
- 41:12Speaker 1: so good. But anyways, my friend always a pleasure, and yeah,
- 41:17Speaker 1: it is such a pleasure. I love talking to you.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Oh my god, I can see you on that show.
- 41:20Speaker 2: But you're married. We shouldn't even be talking about that.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Well no, just kidding, just kidding, next lifetime.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Don't manifest it unless you want to. I could help you.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Believe me, I ain't manifested nothing when it comes to my.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Technically, we just did, didn't we. We spoke it to exist.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Really say that. Don't get all nervous.
- 41:38Speaker 2: That is part of the manifested.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Really well, we have to talk about that.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Speak it into existence, girlfriends, and.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Not manifest while I'm speaking into into existence, never ever
- 41:48Speaker 1: to get separated or divorcekin And for you, my friend,
- 41:51Speaker 1: whatever it is that you want next, I want to.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Single forever, single forever. I love single life too much.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I love that you love it all right, guys, so listen.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Lots of headlines this week, crazy and so I mean,
- 42:08Speaker 1: I hope, we hope that you like gossiping with us,
- 42:12Speaker 1: just gossip, though I feel like we go deeper.
- 42:14Speaker 2: It's real, real, innocent.
