- 0:09Speaker 1: Hey everybody, I'm Megan, I'm Wendy, and welcome to a
- 0:13Speaker 1: Girl's Gone Christmas episode of Long Story Short the Podcast,
- 0:16Speaker 1: and today we are going to be discussing the Hallmark
- 0:19Speaker 1: Christmas movie A Timeless Christmas.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Okay, So first I want to say that something's happening
- 0:27Speaker 2: to me where I am looking forward to watching these
- 0:31Speaker 2: movies each week.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Yep.
- 0:32Speaker 2: See, little by little, we're bringing you in and it's
- 0:35Speaker 2: becoming like a family affair. So I'm sorry if you
- 0:39Speaker 2: can dog in the background. She's fine, she's just mad
- 0:42Speaker 2: at me. So last week and I was like, oh, hey, guys,
- 0:46Speaker 2: it's Sunday night. We're gonna watch A Timeless Christmas and
- 0:49Speaker 2: it's about this time traveler and so my husband's like, yeah,
- 0:52Speaker 2: I'll watch it. My daughter was like, yeah, yeah, I'll
- 0:54Speaker 2: definitely watch it. So I think she is happy to see,
- 0:59Speaker 2: you know, screw mom get excited.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Over oh see, look at the benefit every once that happen.
- 1:07Speaker 2: So she ended up not watching it with us. So
- 1:10Speaker 2: my husband and I watched it, and mygan this one
- 1:16Speaker 2: was a capital dud for me.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oh no, oh yes, okay, Well, let me just say
- 1:26Speaker 1: that after the absolute disaster of never kissing a man
- 1:29Speaker 1: in a christmaswater which could not decide what kind of
- 1:31Speaker 1: movie did it that it wanted to be?
- 1:33Speaker 2: Like?
- 1:34Speaker 1: Was it the redemption story of like she had broken him?
- 1:38Speaker 1: Was it the story of like bringing these military families together?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Was it a gingerbread house building theme? We don't know.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I felt like this movie had like a very calm,
- 1:50Speaker 1: easy to follow through line, and I appreciated that.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Okay, So A Timeless Christmas is about Charles Whitley travel
- 2:00Speaker 2: from nineteen oh three to twenty twenty, where he meets
- 2:02Speaker 2: Megan Turner and experiences a twenty first century Christmas storry
- 2:07Speaker 2: Aaron Cahill and Ryan Pavey done.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Okay, so let's talk leading man where we haven't We
- 2:17Speaker 1: haven't made that a main feature, but I did think
- 2:20Speaker 1: maybe he would stand out a little bit to you.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Okay, very nice looking man, Is that what you want
- 2:28Speaker 2: to hear?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yes?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Okay, good looking man. The problem I have from like
- 2:35Speaker 2: the first scene it takes place in nineteen oh three,
- 2:39Speaker 2: the dude is not going to have a nice faded
- 2:41Speaker 2: beard like he did. He would have a big, huge,
- 2:44Speaker 2: scruffy beard. They didn't have electric razors with clippers that
- 2:49Speaker 2: could like give him that nice whatever, right.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That's funny. Well, I also was noticing in the auction
- 2:57Speaker 1: they have those like two pendant lights hanging down like
- 3:01Speaker 1: over the auctioneer, and I'm like, that's really true of
- 3:04Speaker 1: the time, they were just in like a big empty
- 3:06Speaker 1: room with like a green curtain on one side.
- 3:12Speaker 2: So when I watched the saying these things now, I go, Okay,
- 3:16Speaker 2: budget budget, because you have said for several episodes now
- 3:19Speaker 2: that the budgets are usually pretty low on these things.
- 3:22Speaker 2: So maybe they.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Don't come out twenty four new movies.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I know, I know, I know. So leading man meh,
- 3:32Speaker 2: he gets a meth from you? He could he gets
- 3:35Speaker 2: have hello when he changes into like two thousand and
- 3:39Speaker 2: twenty twenty close into twenty in a twenty first century
- 3:45Speaker 2: you know outfit, he looks real nice.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Okay, what else did you like about this movie? Anything?
- 3:51Speaker 2: I thought the main actress, Aaron Cahill, plays Megan. She
- 3:58Speaker 2: was adorable. Is she a homewark? Is she like in
- 4:01Speaker 2: a bunch of movies?
- 4:02Speaker 1: Yeah, she's not in a ton of their Christmas movies,
- 4:06Speaker 1: but she's definitely like a made for TV movie actress
- 4:10Speaker 1: got it and I really enjoyed her too. I liked her.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I thought she was very cute.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I thought she was singing adorable. And I really noticed
- 4:16Speaker 2: her freckles and I.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Was like, did you too, Yeah, And I was impressed
- 4:20Speaker 1: that they didn't cover them up like they did her
- 4:22Speaker 1: makeup in a way that they came.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Through, which made me go, hmm, you know, there's a
- 4:28Speaker 2: trend to get like a, oh, are they tattooed. They're
- 4:31Speaker 2: not tattooed, They're like done with, like Hannah Ink, so
- 4:34Speaker 2: they like go away eventually.
- 4:35Speaker 1: But yeah, well, I'm looking at other pictures of her
- 4:38Speaker 1: online and she the freckles are definitely hers. She has
- 4:43Speaker 1: beautiful skin, so I appreciated that they let that come through.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I thought she was good. I thought she was a
- 4:50Speaker 2: good actress. She was cute. I actually thought they were
- 4:53Speaker 2: both good actors.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Agree.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I thought the movie storyline was so boring. So boring. Okay,
- 5:02Speaker 2: but this movie was adapted from a novel by Alexa Stanton.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Did you know that?
- 5:08Speaker 1: I did? And so many of these movies have novel companions,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and sometimes I think the novels are written after the fact,
- 5:17Speaker 1: like they're written to go you know, But this one, yes,
- 5:23Speaker 1: I believe did come first.
- 5:25Speaker 2: So I wonder if that's why this movie had kind
- 5:28Speaker 2: of a like a through line. It wasn't like eight
- 5:30Speaker 2: hundred you know stories.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yes, perhaps because they were working from a book that
- 5:36Speaker 1: already existed exactly. Look, I enjoyed this movie. I felt
- 5:41Speaker 1: like it didn't have a lot of wacky subplots going on.
- 5:45Speaker 1: There wasn't a lot of action, but I liked the
- 5:49Speaker 1: sweet little story of the man who accidentally time traveled
- 5:53Speaker 1: based on a broken clock one hundred and seventeen years
- 5:58Speaker 1: into the future. I just couldn't. I couldn't.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I couldn't believe the story.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Now.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I know I'm not supposed to, Like I know that
- 6:08Speaker 2: it's ridiculous that there is going to be a man
- 6:10Speaker 2: who travels from nineteen oh three to twenty twenty and
- 6:14Speaker 2: is abstaining here and falling in love.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Yet the time travel stories. There was a Christmas book
- 6:20Speaker 1: that I read this year that also had like a
- 6:22Speaker 1: time travel element. I could do without them. But like
- 6:28Speaker 1: I said, I did like this movie. I liked when
- 6:31Speaker 1: he was asking her like she was trying to explain
- 6:34Speaker 1: the Internet, and she's like, my say, use it to
- 6:37Speaker 1: argue with strangers, and I.
- 6:38Speaker 2: That was funny that was very funny.
- 6:41Speaker 1: What did you wish for in this movie? Is it
- 6:45Speaker 1: more action that you wanted? Is it we know you
- 6:48Speaker 1: wanted more sexual tension?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Of course, always that was my biggest complaint to my
- 6:52Speaker 2: husband while we were watching this, So that's going to
- 6:56Speaker 2: always be my answer, like, I need more sexual attension
- 6:58Speaker 2: between the two characters to make me believe that there's
- 7:00Speaker 2: some kind of chemistry between them. Do you know when
- 7:05Speaker 2: this was filmed?
- 7:06Speaker 1: I do not, but I did not believe it was
- 7:08Speaker 1: filmed during the winter. The outdoor shots are so tight
- 7:13Speaker 1: that it's like they don't want to show too much
- 7:17Speaker 1: of what's going on.
- 7:18Speaker 2: What I wondered is do you think it was filmed
- 7:21Speaker 2: in twenty twenty like earlier this year?
- 7:25Speaker 1: I don't know. What's the question?
- 7:29Speaker 2: Where are we going get to the point? Wendy, No,
- 7:31Speaker 2: I'm just saying, like I I would have liked to
- 7:36Speaker 2: have seen some sort of adaptation to the storyline that
- 7:41Speaker 2: he actually travels to the twenty twenty we're experiencing right now.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I think that would have been a better movie.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the weird I was none of these movies
- 7:51Speaker 1: as far as I know, address twenty twenty. As we
- 7:54Speaker 1: know it, and so that's really on the one hand,
- 7:57Speaker 1: it's like kind of like a nice escape. On the
- 7:59Speaker 1: other hand, yeah, it'll be nice. He shows up and
- 8:01Speaker 1: everyone's in a mask and yeah, right, but I don't
- 8:05Speaker 1: know how you navigate that. But one thing I didn't
- 8:10Speaker 1: like is like when he first arrives first of all,
- 8:13Speaker 1: like he time travels and he's like laying on the
- 8:15Speaker 1: floor of his house. Like that was very weird to me,
- 8:18Speaker 1: Like he just like wakes up in the house and
- 8:19Speaker 1: it's like he doesn't know how.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I got there.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like fast forward to a tour. I'm like
- 8:25Speaker 1: writing notes, and I'm like fast forward to a tour
- 8:27Speaker 1: of the mansion and then all caps where he is
- 8:29Speaker 1: on the floor. Lol. Omg, those were my notes because okay,
- 8:35Speaker 1: and then he comes down and of course they're like
- 8:37Speaker 1: reenacting life at the Whitley House and all of a sudden,
- 8:41Speaker 1: this person appears in the house upstairs and no one
- 8:44Speaker 1: has ever seen him. They're like, he must be an
- 8:46Speaker 1: actor sent by the agency, right, And then what I
- 8:49Speaker 1: didn't like is there's a little bit too much like
- 8:53Speaker 1: who's on first, because obviously, like he's confused because he's
- 8:56Speaker 1: just traveled here. One hundred and seventeen years in the
- 8:59Speaker 1: past and they have no ight. Obviously they're not suspecting
- 9:02Speaker 1: that he's from the past, but you know, he's like,
- 9:05Speaker 1: what is that flying machine? When he walks outside and like,
- 9:09Speaker 1: why are you in my house? And I don't yeah,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I don't know there. I found some of that to
- 9:16Speaker 1: be a little bit hokey.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Hokey is a good way to put it.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And then she's like, I'll explain television to you tomorrow.
- 9:22Speaker 1: And then he accidentally like turns it on. It's like
- 9:24Speaker 1: blaring Christmas carols in his face. I don't know. That
- 9:27Speaker 1: was a little like where.
- 9:28Speaker 2: He's like, how do I am I going to see
- 9:30Speaker 2: myself in this Mirror's silly? That's a television, My husband,
- 9:35Speaker 2: I were just looking at you were like, this is
- 9:36Speaker 2: so bad?
- 9:39Speaker 1: Okay? Can I tell you that I did feel badly
- 9:42Speaker 1: for him when he so they let him, Like he
- 9:45Speaker 1: sleeps in the house and the next morning he wakes
- 9:48Speaker 1: up and everyone's in the house kind of sad that
- 9:51Speaker 1: his house isn't his house anymore and it's a place
- 9:53Speaker 1: of business. And I didn't even write down the name
- 9:56Speaker 1: of Megan's co worker, who they don't really ever let
- 9:59Speaker 1: in on the joke, not the joke of the real story. Oh,
- 10:03Speaker 1: we're just letting him stay in the house. I don't know.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I felt really badly for him that he had to
- 10:08Speaker 1: keep up this ruse and basically his life's work had
- 10:12Speaker 1: been undone because he disappeared.
- 10:15Speaker 2: What did he technically do? What was his life's work?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Oh he was some sort of engineer or something.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yeah, kind of like an inventor.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Yeah. I did feel badly for him, and I also
- 10:26Speaker 1: noted that I had I always had secondhand embarrassment for
- 10:28Speaker 1: the characters when they sing Christmas carols.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Oh my god, please tell me you saw that that part.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Please please please. When she sings we wish you would
- 10:37Speaker 2: Merry Christmas, and she was like, had weird, awkward, like
- 10:43Speaker 2: body movements when she was singing it.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It's always so uncomfortable when they were sing Christmas carols
- 10:48Speaker 1: in these movies. I like physically was in pain, cringing.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I had to rewind it and show my husband again.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I was like, look how awkward she's moving. And then
- 10:58Speaker 2: we're like then we had to google and find out
- 11:00Speaker 2: when that song was written because I didn't hear his
- 11:04Speaker 2: line about like he didn't know the song because she's like,
- 11:07Speaker 2: everybody knows this song, and he's like, uh, not in
- 11:09Speaker 2: nineteen oh three. So I was like, okay, let's see
- 11:11Speaker 2: when this was written. It was written after nineteen oh three.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Oh see, look true to the time. Yeah.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I was like, okay, yes, but I laughed out loud
- 11:21Speaker 2: when she was very awkward singing that song.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Okay, let's jump to the did you see that where
- 11:28Speaker 1: we discuss questions and plot holes we have about this movie. Okay,
- 11:34Speaker 1: it's not so much plot holes as for me, as
- 11:37Speaker 1: it is like unresolved issues. Because what's the name of
- 11:41Speaker 1: his rival?
- 11:43Speaker 2: I don't remember.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Okay, we'll just call him the rival. So we have Eliza,
- 11:48Speaker 1: his fiance. It's very clear in the beginning that they're
- 11:51Speaker 1: not really in love, right. This is like a marriage
- 11:53Speaker 1: of convenience. He's not willing to go to her parents'
- 11:57Speaker 1: Christmas party. He just you know, oh, he's expected to
- 12:01Speaker 1: be married at his age and they're getting married. So
- 12:04Speaker 1: that didn't feel like okay, fine, He's okay with leaving
- 12:08Speaker 1: her behind, right. The question is Megan knows that the
- 12:13Speaker 1: real Eliza of the past moves on and gets married
- 12:17Speaker 1: to his rival and doesn't tell him, and there's a
- 12:20Speaker 1: couple points in which it is almost revealed and she
- 12:22Speaker 1: kind of stops that from happening.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Do you think she should have kept that secret from him?
- 12:27Speaker 2: I don't know why she was trying to spare his feelings? No,
- 12:30Speaker 2: who cares tell him? Well?
- 12:32Speaker 1: Also, like he didn't love her.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Right, but there was no he wasn't like yearning to
- 12:37Speaker 2: be reunited with Eliza at all. He was, That's what
- 12:42Speaker 2: they made it seem. But like there was a disconnect
- 12:44Speaker 2: from the beginning.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Of having felt for her. Yeah, I mean, maybe he
- 12:48Speaker 1: would be upset that she married his rival simply because
- 12:51Speaker 1: that man was his rival, but not because he had
- 12:53Speaker 1: any deep feelings for her. Maybe he felt like ownership
- 12:57Speaker 1: over her, but other than that. Also, so in the
- 13:01Speaker 1: end of the movie, he decides to stay. Yeah, how
- 13:05Speaker 1: does this possibly work? This man does not exist in
- 13:07Speaker 1: twenty twenty, Like, how are you gonna get identification? Where
- 13:11Speaker 1: are you gonna live at a job? If you don't
- 13:14Speaker 1: have an education or any job experience? Are thirty two
- 13:17Speaker 1: years old?
- 13:18Speaker 2: He is gonna continue to play mister Whiteley or Whitley or.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Whatever he is, And that is a job you can
- 13:24Speaker 1: retire on me for being an elitist, but I do
- 13:28Speaker 1: not believe that it is going to bring him fulfillment
- 13:30Speaker 1: for the rest of his life.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Well, he found a sugar mama in Meghan who is
- 13:35Speaker 2: going to take care of him.
- 13:38Speaker 1: It's as terrible as playing Rosie the Maid for the
- 13:44Speaker 1: rest of her life.
- 13:45Speaker 2: So no, no, no, no, she had didn't she have
- 13:47Speaker 2: some kind of she has seen or something. Yes, going
- 13:50Speaker 2: to be a professor?
- 13:51Speaker 1: She was, Yes, she was going to be a professor.
- 13:55Speaker 1: She turns down that job because she wants to continue
- 13:57Speaker 1: to work at the Whitley and she has ideas that
- 14:00Speaker 1: we don't get let in on about things to do
- 14:03Speaker 1: with the Whitley Mansion going forward, and I guess they're
- 14:07Speaker 1: going to do that as a team. I mean, this
- 14:09Speaker 1: is one of those I am a hater, but this
- 14:11Speaker 1: is one of those when my husand's like, I just
- 14:13Speaker 1: want to move to a small town. Don't open an
- 14:15Speaker 1: ice cream shop, right, Like, yeah, that'd be nice, And no, okay.
- 14:23Speaker 2: You're funny here is did you see that moment for
- 14:26Speaker 2: me when she was going to the school to interview
- 14:30Speaker 2: for the job, and it just so happened that the
- 14:33Speaker 2: missing clock was on display, I.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Mean, and the second she started walking around, I'm like,
- 14:39Speaker 1: she's gonna see the clock exactly, exactly exactly.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I did text you a picture. I don't know if
- 14:49Speaker 2: you remember.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Oh you sent me two gifts.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I say about, yeah, I sent you two gifts one
- 14:54Speaker 2: because the first one was like, how am I gonna
- 14:58Speaker 2: get back to nineteen oh three? And the first thing
- 15:01Speaker 2: I thought was one point twenty one chigawatts, Like hook
- 15:04Speaker 2: that clock up to a lightning rod and let's make
- 15:07Speaker 2: this thing happen. It was so funny to me. I
- 15:10Speaker 2: kept making back to the future jokes during the whole
- 15:13Speaker 2: entire movie. And then there was another part where he
- 15:16Speaker 2: was hat. He made some kind of mention about like
- 15:19Speaker 2: doing exactly the same thing as he did the night
- 15:22Speaker 2: that he went missing or whatever, and I was like,
- 15:27Speaker 2: now we're in a freaky Friday moment where they're like
- 15:29Speaker 2: trying to recreate the exact same thing so they can
- 15:32Speaker 2: switch bodies back.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So this movie didn't do it for you. That is
- 15:38Speaker 1: so funny. This for me was a very solid offering.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Not one of my favorites, but what I want in
- 15:46Speaker 1: a Hallmark movie, I want a sweet little story. I
- 15:49Speaker 1: want a little bit of Christmas Dacre. I wanted to
- 15:52Speaker 1: just relax me and lull me to sleep, quite frankly,
- 15:56Speaker 1: and I think it did that check in with our
- 16:00Speaker 1: niece count because we have the knies count off screen
- 16:03Speaker 1: in this movie. Did you know it his?
- 16:06Speaker 2: No, I didn't.
- 16:08Speaker 1: When they were shopping, She's like, oh, I am shopping
- 16:10Speaker 1: for my nieces, so boom, I missed it.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Oh boom, that's hilarious. Yes, good, good call.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Now, isn't it weird? So Megan is the great great
- 16:24Speaker 1: granddaughter of Rosie, his beloved maid, who kind of was
- 16:28Speaker 1: like a maternal figure to him in my mind, even
- 16:31Speaker 1: though I don't think she was that much older, she
- 16:33Speaker 1: was very kind of I think she played that role
- 16:35Speaker 1: a little bit. So is it weird that then he
- 16:38Speaker 1: goes and hooks up with her like great great granddaughter
- 16:41Speaker 1: one hundred years in the future. No, I want to.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Make a connection here with a show outside of Hallmark,
- 16:48Speaker 2: if I may please. Recently, Bravo debut The Real Housewives
- 16:54Speaker 2: of Salt Lake City.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yes, I know she's going no, but I read things.
- 17:01Speaker 2: The girl is married to her grandma's ex husband. Is
- 17:04Speaker 2: something that wag adoo that.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Yeah, so it didn't her grandmother ask her to marry him.
- 17:10Speaker 1: That's my understanding.
- 17:12Speaker 2: You know, I don't know what the story is.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I think I just thought. I was like, I need
- 17:16Speaker 1: you to marry him. That's the story as I heard.
- 17:18Speaker 1: It could be false. I have not yet watched the
- 17:20Speaker 1: new the.
- 17:21Speaker 2: New cast, so I don't think it's too much of
- 17:24Speaker 2: a stretch that Charles Whitley is now in love with
- 17:29Speaker 2: his maid's great.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Great granddaughter, great great daughter. Okay, what else did I have?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Anything else? I had?
- 17:39Speaker 2: I had another? Did you see that?
- 17:40Speaker 1: But please?
- 17:41Speaker 2: Okay? When he tells her that he there's like proof
- 17:45Speaker 2: that he's from nineteen oh three, where it's hidden under
- 17:48Speaker 2: the rug in his office, and she's like tapping around
- 17:51Speaker 2: on the floor, tap tap tap, tap tap tap. Then
- 17:54Speaker 2: finds the secret under floor compartment, which I said to
- 17:58Speaker 2: my husband, why don't we have anymore? That would be
- 18:00Speaker 2: really cool? And he said, what would you put on there?
- 18:04Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know, jewelry or something. I
- 18:06Speaker 2: think it's a great idea. Anyway, that's a side note.
- 18:09Speaker 2: So she finds the stuff. It's all dusty and cobwebbed.
- 18:12Speaker 2: But then she's flipping through his dang journal and the
- 18:16Speaker 2: pages are pristine, and she just put in her big
- 18:19Speaker 2: old thumb marks on him. There's no.
- 18:23Speaker 1: So dumb.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I mean, not that I'm looking for like some tattered pages,
- 18:28Speaker 2: but like she's just like someone through this journal, like
- 18:30Speaker 2: it's like no big deal, you know.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Well, Also, how do things get dusty when they're like
- 18:34Speaker 1: inside the underground? Is that the same thing? The same thing?
- 18:41Speaker 2: I'm sorry that I'm the hater in this. These are
- 18:45Speaker 2: this is what I enjoy about these movies. While they
- 18:48Speaker 2: do kind of spark some Christmas join in me. I
- 18:50Speaker 2: do love to make commentary as I'm watching them.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I love to hate them.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I love to hate them.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Yes, yes, all right? Where does this fall for you
- 19:00Speaker 1: on a ranking out of four stars? Okay?
- 19:02Speaker 2: This is what I'm struggling with because I gave Never
- 19:05Speaker 2: Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater one star.
- 19:08Speaker 1: This is not a one star movie, Okay, Okay, I
- 19:12Speaker 1: think this was worse than that.
- 19:18Speaker 2: So I don't know if the Christmas Sweater movie should
- 19:20Speaker 2: be a two and this should be a one.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Se No, I don't see any way in which Christmas
- 19:27Speaker 1: Weather is better than this movie. No, Oh, we're gonna fight. Okay,
- 19:35Speaker 1: what are you giving? Are you giving a revised two
- 19:38Speaker 1: star ranking to Christmas Wetter and this one gets a one. Oh,
- 19:41Speaker 1: you're I have to tell you you're in for some You're
- 19:45Speaker 1: gonna be disappointed. Okay, Can I give this.
- 19:49Speaker 2: One a half star and then keep by one star?
- 19:53Speaker 1: Reading in pain that you're ranking this below Christmas Sweater?
- 19:58Speaker 1: For me, this is a two and three quarter stars.
- 20:05Speaker 1: It's like Star Search.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Well, that's not even really that great, Megan, two and
- 20:10Speaker 2: three quarters is not that great.
- 20:11Speaker 1: No. But I always when people book rankings are often
- 20:15Speaker 1: done in five stars, like Goodreads has five stars as
- 20:17Speaker 1: an offering, I always say, like a three star book
- 20:20Speaker 1: is a perfectly acceptable ranking.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Right.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Not every book is the greatest book ever. There's lots
- 20:24Speaker 1: of books that are just perfectly fine to read and
- 20:27Speaker 1: enjoy and move on with your life. That's how I
- 20:29Speaker 1: feel about this movie. It was fine. I enjoyed it.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I don't need to watch it again. It's not the
- 20:34Speaker 1: greatest movie I've ever seen, but it was a solid offering.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Okay, I'm sorry, I don't know.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I don't know. I need to be sorry.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I need to know. Please email us at Meganwindy at
- 20:46Speaker 2: gmail dot com because I need to know who else
- 20:49Speaker 2: like this movie? Do you fall with Windy or are
- 20:52Speaker 2: you on Megan's side? That's what I need to know.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I will tell you.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I am very excited for next week's.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Movie, a Nashville Christmas Carol featuring Why Nona dud and
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah has why Noah? It has Kimberly Williams. Paisley Jesse
- 21:06Speaker 1: Shram is her name? Oh, that's what I know her from.
- 21:09Speaker 1: So she was in Once Upon a Time.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I never watched that show.
- 21:13Speaker 1: She played Cinderella in Once upon a Time. She was
- 21:16Speaker 1: on uh Chicago med Man. They got a sure country
- 21:20Speaker 1: lineup in here?
- 21:21Speaker 2: Why no a Jet? Sarah Evans, ray Lynn Kicks Brooks
- 21:25Speaker 2: is that of Brooks and Dunn.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, So.
