Kings Trade Rumor Falls Short
A rumored trade that would’ve sent Domantas Sabonis and Devin Carter to the Timberwolves for Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo, and Minnesota’s 28th pick fizzled out—Randle was already shipped to the Nets. While the Wolves would’ve gained a perfect fit for Anthony Edwards and a young point guard, the Kings saw little upside: Randle’s contract and role didn’t justify losing Sabonis, and Sacramento’s rebuild needs more than a modest upgrade.
