Latest / The Paul Barron Crypto Show / FIRE Pam Bondi🔥DoJ Targets DeFi AGAIN!?🚨
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's dive into it today.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Pambondi has crossed the line and we are going to
- 0:03Speaker 2: get into it because this could be at risk for DeFi.
- 0:06Speaker 2: I'll explain all that. Let's just jump to the list
- 0:09Speaker 2: on poly market. If you look at the current cabinet,
- 0:12Speaker 2: you got David Sachs leading the way at around fifty
- 0:14Speaker 2: eight percent, but not a lot of volume. Most likely
- 0:16Speaker 2: that's going to be saved by what's happening with Clarity.
- 0:19Speaker 2: You got Christy Nomes, she's out done Tulsa Cabbirn Scaveno zero.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Volumes, so not likely.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Pambondi though, definitely starting to go at the top of this,
- 0:32Speaker 2: which means we could see some movement on the horizon
- 0:36Speaker 2: here with Pambondi. And there's a lot of reasons why
- 0:38Speaker 2: you take a look at roman Storm, and of course
- 0:41Speaker 2: roman Storm part of the Tornado cash issue. This was
- 0:44Speaker 2: a trial that was done. You'll notice that name Judge Fayea.
- 0:47Speaker 2: This is the XRP judge which is very aware of
- 0:50Speaker 2: what's going on in blockchain. This trial happened and he
- 0:54Speaker 2: was basically acquitted of two of the three counts. One
- 0:56Speaker 2: was a very kind of a frivolous account but two
- 0:58Speaker 2: of the three, which were the big one and the
- 1:00Speaker 2: two counts that the jury couldn't unanimously decide on, is
- 1:05Speaker 2: what they're doing now. And this is now four weeks
- 1:08Speaker 2: of evidence, deadlock, no verdict on money I'll on her,
- 1:11Speaker 2: which was the big one, and no verdict on the
- 1:13Speaker 2: sanctionless violations. So what's happening now is that the Department
- 1:18Speaker 2: of Justice is going after it again second time that
- 1:21Speaker 2: they're going to try to jump in on this, and
- 1:24Speaker 2: this is four more weeks of trial. This guy's getting fatigued.
- 1:27Speaker 2: And we've seen this happened all over, but we've really
- 1:31Speaker 2: seen a lot of focus in on roman Storms. So
- 1:34Speaker 2: you look at that, and here's a mandituminelity which we've
- 1:37Speaker 2: talked to before. It is important because this starts to
- 1:40Speaker 2: affect the maybe the future of decentralized finance. This of
- 1:44Speaker 2: course is the DeFi Education Fund. And if you look
- 1:47Speaker 2: at what she's talking about, this is where they're getting
- 1:49Speaker 2: in on it, which is the SDN Y will now
- 1:52Speaker 2: retry roman Storm on accounts one to three of the indictment,
- 1:54Speaker 2: retrying after a hung jury. So a a a judge
- 2:01Speaker 2: that actually is very I would say pro crypto because
- 2:04Speaker 2: she understands it in Judge Fayea, so big deals happening
- 2:08Speaker 2: right now. And remember Tarrek kind of talked about this
- 2:11Speaker 2: a little bit and she said, hey, I remember thinking
- 2:13Speaker 2: when Judge Faya seemed more sympathetic to the coders behind
- 2:17Speaker 2: UNISWAP versus what we saw in.
- 2:19Speaker 1: The Tornado cash situation.
- 2:20Speaker 2: When you look at this, unicewap is a more neutral
- 2:23Speaker 2: infrastructure than Tornado Cash. Remember UNIEWAP winning their case. Really,
- 2:28Speaker 2: all you'd have to do is demonstrate that they're equal.
- 2:30Speaker 2: This would pretty much I think put Judge Viaea in
- 2:33Speaker 2: the position to where this maybe this case starts to
- 2:35Speaker 2: fall in the line of at least Roman Storm. But
- 2:38Speaker 2: the real question is why is the DOJ continuing to
- 2:41Speaker 2: push going in this direction?
- 2:43Speaker 1: Now, let's take a look at what's going on with.
- 2:45Speaker 2: The Treasury Department, because coincidentally they put out a statement
- 2:48Speaker 2: on mixers which appeared to be positive for DeFi. But
- 2:52Speaker 2: this is the reality of it. At the very notion
- 2:54Speaker 2: of lawful users of digital assets implicates a mechanism to
- 2:58Speaker 2: distinguish between lawful and unlawful. You simply meaning, yeah, this
- 3:04Speaker 2: is not going to work. It's not necessarily decentralized finance.
- 3:08Speaker 2: This is the whole point behind what now we're seeing
- 3:11Speaker 2: coming out of the Department of Treasury. If you look
- 3:13Speaker 2: at the situation right now and who Trump is going
- 3:16Speaker 2: to pardon, notice something, there is no mention at all.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I mean, we got Roger Ver in there, Steve Bannon,
- 3:24Speaker 2: Eric Adams, I mean, you've got pretty much dope quads
- 3:26Speaker 2: even on the list, but not not roman Storm. So
- 3:31Speaker 2: very intriguing here, guys. I don't understand why he would
- 3:34Speaker 2: not be on that list. I mean, if you look
- 3:36Speaker 2: at decentralized finance, which is one of the big cornerstones
- 3:39Speaker 2: of the Clarity Act going forward, why would he not
- 3:43Speaker 2: have at least a shot to where Trump could maybe
- 3:45Speaker 2: take a look at this. I mean in fact that
- 3:46Speaker 2: if you think about it, Trump pardon justin Sun just
- 3:49Speaker 2: got pardoned right there. So this is clearly being targeted
- 3:54Speaker 2: in some way. Why is the question? So if you
- 3:57Speaker 2: look further into things that have been going on, remember
- 4:00Speaker 2: if you guys, remember there was this McHenry, Patrick Henry.
- 4:03Speaker 2: There was big probe on the SEC and the DOJ
- 4:06Speaker 2: action around Sam bankman Free and this was really about
- 4:09Speaker 2: the correlation between Gary Gensler and Sam Bankman, meaning they
- 4:13Speaker 2: were communicating, but the Department Justice didn't even go after this. This,
- 4:17Speaker 2: of course happened several years ago in twenty twenty three,
- 4:19Speaker 2: So why not All these things are just kind of
- 4:22Speaker 2: slipping under the blanket further into this.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Do you guys remember this one.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I don't know if you've been in crypto long enough,
- 4:29Speaker 2: but this is one of the companies that went out
- 4:31Speaker 2: there very hard against getting regulation done. It was Prometheum.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Now you've got the same guy, this same guy right here,
- 4:41Speaker 2: that dude, Yeah, I remember him. He's now saying, yeah,
- 4:45Speaker 2: we need to get clarity in place so my business
- 4:47Speaker 2: can start to operate. So that's such, you know, two
- 4:50Speaker 2: headed vipers we've got going on in this market. Well,
- 4:54Speaker 2: here's what's going on right now. The House Oversight Panel
- 4:56Speaker 2: now is voting to subpoena Pambondi all around the Epstein
- 5:00Speaker 2: prode And of course the reason you look at it
- 5:03Speaker 2: right here, Nancy Mace moved to subpoena the Attorney General
- 5:05Speaker 2: and it passed twenty four to nineteen with bipartisan support.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Congress also passed the law last year required the dj
- 5:11Speaker 2: to public release all of its investigative files related abstinencely remembered.
- 5:15Speaker 2: She has slowed that release down, which has created a
- 5:19Speaker 2: firestorm of effect on the Trump administration really for just
- 5:23Speaker 2: what she's doing now, whether she's doing it at Trump's direction,
- 5:25Speaker 2: who knows how this is being orchestrated, but right now
- 5:29Speaker 2: it is a big deal, all right. So when you
- 5:30Speaker 2: look at this article, this is where Republicans have switched
- 5:32Speaker 2: their focus from Pambondy or to Pambondi, from Christy Nome.
- 5:37Speaker 2: And if you look at the thing that Burshett said,
- 5:40Speaker 2: basically she's in the batter box now and that's Republicans
- 5:43Speaker 2: pointing at her now.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So pretty big deal. If you look at the Google.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Trends right here, there's really only two names that have
- 5:51Speaker 2: popped up on this list, David Sachson not really seen
- 5:55Speaker 2: or Bovino not really seen. But Nome yes, and of
- 5:58Speaker 2: course we know what happened to her, well, Pam Bondi, yes,
- 6:01Speaker 2: she had a lot of this, and of course all
- 6:03Speaker 2: this was happening during the epstein. We may see another
- 6:06Speaker 2: spike and trends. So after the subpoena, you see this
- 6:11Speaker 2: is in place. There's no real date set on this.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I was reading the article. So no official date is
- 6:16Speaker 2: set for the required hearing, But remember she's been in
- 6:19Speaker 2: hearings before. In fact, I've got a clip from the
- 6:21Speaker 2: last one which was very explosive that may ouch on
- 6:25Speaker 2: the Trump presidency.
- 6:27Speaker 1: After all, take a look at this.
- 6:29Speaker 3: None of them ask Merrik Garland over the last four
- 6:33Speaker 3: years one word about Jeffrey Epstein. How ironic is that?
- 6:39Speaker 3: You know why? Because Donald Trump the doo the dow
- 6:44Speaker 3: right now is over. The Dow is over fifty thousand
- 6:49Speaker 3: doll I don't know why you're laughing. The DOO is
- 6:51Speaker 3: over fifty thousand right now. The S and P at
- 6:55Speaker 3: almost seven thousand.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Does she even know what the tw is? I'm beginning
- 7:02Speaker 2: to wonder because the way she was responding to that.
- 7:04Speaker 2: One other thing to note here is the fifty thousand
- 7:09Speaker 2: narrative there is going to stick with this administration forever
- 7:13Speaker 2: because it's been now basically iconically driven into all of
- 7:18Speaker 2: social media that that's the top. So if we don't
- 7:20Speaker 2: get past that, Pamgant BONDI would be calling the top.
- 7:24Speaker 2: That's the kind of implication this would have on the
- 7:26Speaker 2: administration going forward. Other implications that happen right now of course,
- 7:31Speaker 2: is the DOJ improperly installing new Jersey prosecutors.
- 7:35Speaker 1: This, of course starts to create.
- 7:36Speaker 2: A lot more problems because now you could literally have
- 7:40Speaker 2: thousands of federal criminal cases that could end up getting
- 7:42Speaker 2: dismissed because of this result. So this is going to
- 7:45Speaker 2: boil down to the Republicans being pointed at, and this
- 7:49Speaker 2: will put them in a position where essentially they're going
- 7:53Speaker 2: to take her out basically for her unqualifications around what
- 7:56Speaker 2: she's doing as the US Attorney. So you guys also
- 7:59Speaker 2: remember Cato, they sued the FBI over this. This is in
- 8:02Speaker 2: reference to the PAISA records, which is section seven oh two,
- 8:05Speaker 2: and this is all around surveillance powers. And now, if
- 8:08Speaker 2: you've looked further down here, thus far, Attorney General Pambondi
- 8:13Speaker 2: has not weighed in on that, which is one of
- 8:15Speaker 2: the most I think one of the most important things
- 8:17Speaker 2: out there right now. And of course, she is continuing
- 8:20Speaker 2: to put herself in a position where I think she
- 8:23Speaker 2: has done or will be soon. The behind the scenes
- 8:26Speaker 2: push right now comes as Congress, of course, is getting
- 8:29Speaker 2: cleared toward the deadline for Section seven oh two. In
- 8:32Speaker 2: other words, if this doesn't happen this is going to extend,
- 8:35Speaker 2: which is a problem. This happens on April twentieth, so
- 8:39Speaker 2: a big deal that she's not even brought this up
- 8:42Speaker 2: right now, So it's going to extend under Pam BONDI
- 8:44Speaker 2: I want to go to a clip because she's responding
- 8:47Speaker 2: to this.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Take a look Section seven oh two of the Foreign
- 8:51Speaker 4: Intelligence Surveillance Act. I've called this the most important law
- 8:54Speaker 4: that most people have never heard of. I know you have,
- 8:57Speaker 4: and you're familiar with it. It's been called the crown
- 8:59Speaker 4: je ruel of US intelligence. And of course it cannot
- 9:03Speaker 4: be used legally used to spy on American citizens. We
- 9:08Speaker 4: have a temporary extension that expires in twenty twenty six,
- 9:12Speaker 4: and i'd like you just confirm here on the record
- 9:15Speaker 4: that you will enforce that law.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Senator, I haven't read the entire seven two in front
- 9:21Speaker 5: of you, but I will commit to reading that and
- 9:24Speaker 5: doing everything I can to keep America safe again.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Do you share concerns that you need to get a
- 9:31Speaker 4: warrant requirement in order to show probable cause that a crime,
- 9:35Speaker 4: including espionage perhaps has been committed.
- 9:39Speaker 5: I would read his memo and I will speak to
- 9:41Speaker 5: you after I read his memo, Senator.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Another thing that has been happening with the DOJ. This
- 9:46Speaker 2: is Live Nation, which is settling the anti trust case
- 9:49Speaker 2: with DJ, which is avoiding the Ticketmaster breakup. And you
- 9:52Speaker 2: guys have heard me talk about this quite a bit
- 9:55Speaker 2: on the show. Ticketmaster I think is one of those
- 9:57Speaker 2: that just needs to go away. One of the note
- 10:00Speaker 2: here was that this was like a two hundred million
- 10:02Speaker 2: dollar fine and then once you got that done in
- 10:05Speaker 2: the settlement to Live Nation, and then you can go
- 10:08Speaker 2: back to doing your bad things again. So listen to
- 10:10Speaker 2: what this analyst had to say.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 10:12Speaker 6: Even if it's two hundred and eighty million dollars that
- 10:14Speaker 6: write like that, that's nothing. Bigger things, as I understand them,
- 10:17Speaker 6: would be they would have to open up parts of
- 10:19Speaker 6: the platform, and they're like, tight, we have all the branding,
- 10:22Speaker 6: all the distribution, all of the other advantages we've already
- 10:24Speaker 6: always had. This is going to cost us nothing. Marrek Garland,
- 10:27Speaker 6: when he first announced this case, said that they wanted
- 10:31Speaker 6: to break up Live Nation Ticketmaster. Yeah, is this going
- 10:34Speaker 6: to feel like a win to the Swifties? It doesn't
- 10:37Speaker 6: seem like that's how they're going to take it.
- 10:39Speaker 7: How sus they are settling with Live Nation. One week
- 10:44Speaker 7: in a trial, I fee leave. Russell writes to the
- 10:46Speaker 7: judge and says, hey, waking up to the news not
- 10:49Speaker 7: yet docketed, that the DG in the States might be
- 10:52Speaker 7: settling with Live Nation without any divestiture of Ticketmaster. There
- 10:56Speaker 7: are multiple CEOs, multiple executives that have come out to
- 10:59Speaker 7: say they were threatened and retaliated against for going against
- 11:04Speaker 7: Live Nation and Ticketmaster. He filed a letter with the
- 11:07Speaker 7: court and the judge and said, hey, exhibits are not
- 11:09Speaker 7: being shown to the public or the press, and they
- 11:11Speaker 7: should be, especially if they're being shown to a jury.
- 11:14Speaker 7: Not only that, but the courtroom audio feed got cut off,
- 11:17Speaker 7: and so the judge actually put in an order saying, hey,
- 11:20Speaker 7: you got to show those text messages in anything that
- 11:23Speaker 7: is on the docket. We have a right to know
- 11:25Speaker 7: what the government uncovered. They need to file it publicly
- 11:28Speaker 7: within twenty four hours. But they've not done that.
- 11:32Speaker 2: This is wild, all right, So there you go, well
- 11:35Speaker 2: sas or just let's just you guys understand what's going on.
- 11:38Speaker 1: This is corruption.
- 11:41Speaker 2: It does get into this level.
- 11:43Speaker 1: And if you.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Compare that with what now Senator Warren's going to be doing,
- 11:47Speaker 2: which she's going to be using this to her advantage.
- 11:49Speaker 2: If you love going to concerts, well, trump'steeal means you'll
- 11:53Speaker 2: be keep paying the Ticketmaster tax. And this is a
- 11:55Speaker 2: problem that's been in the industry for a very long time.
- 11:57Speaker 2: We've covered here quite a bit on the show because
- 11:59Speaker 2: we think it will point blockchain will be a part
- 12:01Speaker 2: of this, but it is one that of course gets
- 12:04Speaker 2: slid under the radar again by the DOJ. And of
- 12:08Speaker 2: course here is Senator Warren hitting right there. Taylor Swift,
- 12:11Speaker 2: Swifties lose, Pearl Jam loses, pretty much everybody gets to
- 12:14Speaker 2: lose on this one. But Trump just gave him the
- 12:16Speaker 2: equivalent of a corporate pardon. I would agree with that
- 12:20Speaker 2: issue right now, especially with this settlement for a very
- 12:23Speaker 2: low amount and the fact that they have all these
- 12:25Speaker 2: other companies that are competing with Ticketmaster. This is a
- 12:28Speaker 2: bad deal in general, and it's all coming out of
- 12:30Speaker 2: Bondy here. Of course, though it was kid Rock, he
- 12:33Speaker 2: comes in. I thought this guy was four artists and
- 12:37Speaker 2: he comes in and partners with Live Nations. So things
- 12:41Speaker 2: are looking a little bit suss out there for sure.
- 12:43Speaker 2: As they say, let me go to a kind of
- 12:45Speaker 2: our rundown of some of the things that have been happened.
- 12:48Speaker 2: So what we did here was we broke down the
- 12:50Speaker 2: high profile firings and we said, kind of like kobees,
- 12:53Speaker 2: did you know, what were the things they did wrong
- 12:55Speaker 2: that Trump outed them on? And this, of course is
- 12:57Speaker 2: Pambondi there, or excuse me, this of course is Christy
- 13:00Speaker 2: Nome and Elon.
- 13:01Speaker 1: One.
- 13:01Speaker 2: They lost the winning issues for Trump, which was immigration
- 13:04Speaker 2: and government spinning cuts.
- 13:05Speaker 1: That was the biggest.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Then you can kind of go into the second one,
- 13:08Speaker 2: which is they stole mind share. This was a problem
- 13:11Speaker 2: in general. You cannot take away mind share from Trump.
- 13:14Speaker 2: These guys were spotlight bad boys. And then of course
- 13:17Speaker 2: you have hurting the OBBB sentiment, which is Trump's signature legislation.
- 13:22Speaker 2: And Elon of course that's the one big beautiful bill
- 13:25Speaker 2: if you don't know, but Elon, of course, if Trash died,
- 13:28Speaker 2: Christy Nomes, she's spending out there with ICE funding very frivolously.
- 13:33Speaker 2: This of course is another reason she got fired. Then
- 13:36Speaker 2: you have number four, which was Republican mid term pressure.
- 13:39Speaker 2: This is going to be a big deal because you've
- 13:40Speaker 2: got Red State anger course, both FEMA. Then you have
- 13:43Speaker 2: social security issues. Texas could be flipping. Who knows, this
- 13:47Speaker 2: is mayhem going in there because of this cabinet pick
- 13:49Speaker 2: that these two especially, and then you have to look
- 13:52Speaker 2: at number five, and this is the cringe factor. And
- 13:56Speaker 2: if think about Trump, he's a theater guy, and you
- 14:00Speaker 2: know he's a showman, so he doesn't want people who
- 14:03Speaker 2: don't present well, so bad Central casting. And of course,
- 14:06Speaker 2: as we know, you know Christina with her flak jacket
- 14:10Speaker 2: and her you know, cowboy ads out there on the anyway,
- 14:13Speaker 2: you guys get the point. These are the five, all right,
- 14:15Speaker 2: So let's go in and see where Pam Bondi falls
- 14:17Speaker 2: in these five. Number one, she lost the key winning
- 14:21Speaker 2: issues for Trump. This is a reference to transparency around
- 14:24Speaker 2: the Epstein issue, right and going after the bad guys. Nobody, no,
- 14:28Speaker 2: nobody's been arrested. So there you go. That's number one.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Number two stole mind share again. This is a problem
- 14:35Speaker 2: where you get more Epstein narrative that just keeps on
- 14:39Speaker 2: hitting the market. The conspiracy theorists are running rampant, the
- 14:43Speaker 2: influencers are going crazy. This is all because of Bondy.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Number three hurting the one Big Beautiful Bill again and again,
- 14:51Speaker 2: this is Epstein votes caused shutdowns, major delays, and Health
- 14:55Speaker 2: Claire as well as the clarity legislation. All that has
- 14:58Speaker 2: been slowed down. That is an other reason that's going
- 15:01Speaker 2: to hit. And then number four, they need a sacrificial lamp.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I think it's gonna be her. She's the one they
- 15:06Speaker 2: will cut and the cringe factor. She's probably more memed
- 15:10Speaker 2: on TikTok than Christy Nomes. So again another bad Central
- 15:15Speaker 2: casting move, which of course does create the narrative around this.
- 15:19Speaker 2: She is the next one to go. You guys, stick around,
- 15:22Speaker 2: There's probably more coming soon. If you like this video,
