- 0:00So you have a question if you are experiencing autism inertia.
- 0:03So here are 7 early warning signs of autism inertia.
- 0:05And if you're not quite sure what inertia is, I'm going to
- 0:08cover that too. All right, let's get into it.
- 0:11OK guys, so inertia is taken from the word inertia that
- 0:15Newton's laws of emotions was defined that the law of inertia
- 0:19or the experience of inertia is an object in motion can't just
- 0:24move or or deviate from the path that it's on because it's moving
- 0:27to a vacuum of space without exterior pressure or or you
- 0:31know, some of the energy that's coming in.
- 0:34So the thing just carries ongoing without any deviation
- 0:37from the path. And the opposite is also true.
- 0:39An object that isn't in motion can't just suddenly start moving
- 0:42without any exterior force, right?
- 0:45So the moment of inertia means that we are not moving through
- 0:49space or we are not doing something that we should do.
- 0:53And this happens for autistic people like this.
- 0:55The moment of inertia can happen if you're hyper focused on a
- 0:58project or a thing to do, where you are so focused on something
- 1:03that you can't deviate from it and you end up just hyper
- 1:06focusing on that one thing, which is kind of fun.
- 1:08But the opposite is actually really detrimental where we need
- 1:12to start something or we need to start many things and we never
- 1:15get round to it. Why?
- 1:17Because we have too many things on our To Do List and we're
- 1:21knackered. We hit the moment of inertia,
- 1:22nothing happens. But how do we know that we're
- 1:24experiencing inertia and what can we do about it?
- 1:27So I'm going to explain the seven warning signs of autism
- 1:30inertia. And if you relate, you have to
- 1:32give this video a thumbs up. And also at the end, I'm going
- 1:34to tell you how you can rock yourself out of inertia.
- 1:36And it's pretty amazing. It's actually super simple and
- 1:40all you have to do is follow what I say in this the end of
- 1:44this video and you'll instantly rock yourself out of inertia.
- 1:46But the step by step guide to help you along the way can be
- 1:49downloaded by the click down below or you can just go to
- 1:52theaspyworld.com/inertia which is spelled INERTIA.
- 1:59And I will have a free PDF download checklist so that you
- 2:03can get yourself started to rock yourself out of this kind of
- 2:05moment of like I have things to do, but I can't.
- 2:08OK, so number one is you will feel a lack of motivation or
- 2:12your motivation will dip, meaning your motivation will
- 2:14just feel like it's just falling off the edge of the earth.
- 2:15Why? Because you're not able to start
- 2:18something. And if you're not able to start
- 2:19something, it starts to reverse. It's kind of like walking
- 2:22forwards and you stop and you suddenly start walking backwards
- 2:25and you just can't stop because the momentum is pulling you
- 2:28backwards. So you feel a motivation dip.
- 2:30You have no motivation to do the things that you want to do.
- 2:32And your To Do List has like 27,000 things on it.
- 2:35Actually you probably have several to do lists and you want
- 2:37to get started on the main one and you can't.
- 2:40And your motivation for it disappears.
- 2:42This is a big sign that you're hitting inertia.
- 2:45Procrastination increases. So #2 procrastination hits in.
- 2:48You start doing, you're like, I've got this big list to do.
- 2:50So I'm just going to do the laundry and the ironing and the
- 2:53dishes and cook dinner for the next 6 months and take the dog
- 2:56for a walk and my neighbour's dog for a walk.
- 2:57And then go and see my friend Charlie, make sure he's, he's
- 2:59doing OK. And now I'm going to go to the
- 3:01grocery store, pick up some more groceries.
- 3:02Just cooked six months worth of grocery.
- 3:04You get the idea. You just do too many things and
- 3:07you fill your time with other things rather than thing you
- 3:09should be doing 1st. And that's kind of a really
- 3:13interesting warning sign or signal for this now #3 is a
- 3:17depressive state starts to kind of come over you.
- 3:20You start to feel guilty for not doing the thing that you wanted
- 3:23to do or try to do or need to do.
- 3:25And. Behind me is awards that I have
- 3:27won. You know, from MIT, YouTube, we
- 3:29go Health, Autism Hero award, Business Smart Award.
- 3:31All these things happen because I became more confident than I
- 3:34ever imagined. I actually was not confident for
- 3:38many years. Now I have put together a free
- 3:41download where you can take training from me for free to
- 3:44build up your confidence, lower anxiety.
- 3:47And actually. Just make life better for
- 3:49autistic adults and this is where it covers you Can progress
- 3:51without doubt even if nothing worked before.
- 3:53Boost energy without having to need more spoons, even if you're
- 3:56running an anti. Be social while overthinking it.
- 3:58Fit in society without losing yourself, even if you feel
- 4:02alienated, and speaking confidently without
- 4:04misunderstanding. If people don't get you right,
- 4:06all you need to do is go to the website.
- 4:09WWW dot. Bulletproofbrain.org right now
- 4:13and download your free pack from me.
- 4:18Link is also in the description of this video.
- 4:20And if you're watching on Instagram, all you have to do is
- 4:21comment Brain and I'll DM it to you.
- 4:24Watching on Facebook? If you comment Brain, I'll
- 4:26comment back with a link to directly download this.
- 4:28And then you start feeling kind of like a self doubt and, and,
- 4:31and depressive. I can't rock out of it.
- 4:33And oh, which then also starts draining your dopamine and so #4
- 4:38everything makes you irritable. So everything that you are
- 4:45experiencing like somebody talking to you, you know, the
- 4:47person next to you in, in the, the line at the post office or
- 4:51the smell of something or, or a noise outside or your dog or
- 4:54your kids, whatever, everything just starts to annoy you.
- 4:56Everything makes you irritable. You're like, and you become like
- 4:58jittery and angry about everything.
- 5:00It's because you are now starting to stab your body or
- 5:02dopamine because you need to start the task that you want to
- 5:07do to get the dopamine right. And so this also leads me out to
- 5:10#5 which is you start craving junk food.
- 5:12Why? Because junk food and, and like
- 5:14chips and burgers and, and like crisps and, and pretzels and
- 5:17stuff like that and doughnuts, those things give you a instant
- 5:21hit of gratification of dopamine, which is like the
- 5:23happy homo, right? Which you're desperately needing
- 5:26to fill because you're wanting to do this list.
- 5:28But then you've hit all the other things and you're not
- 5:30doing your list. And basically now dopamine
- 5:31starved more so than you would have been anyway.
- 5:33Because autistic individuals and ADHD individuals are starved of
- 5:36dopamine anyway because they are dopamine deficiency.
- 5:39OK, so number six is you start isolating yourself from your
- 5:42friends and family because you have self doubt or feelings of
- 5:44self less worth and having worthlessness feelings.
- 5:49It makes you want to isolate from people because you don't
- 5:51want to be around other people because you're like, you know, I
- 5:53don't want to be around other people as you're going to
- 5:55reflect how bad I am in my life, which is not true.
- 5:57It's just that you start of dopamine and you need to get on
- 5:59with your out of inertia issue. And #7 is the thought of what
- 6:04you need to do becomes scary and worrisome, which causes anxiety.
- 6:09And well, it doesn't help with the depression of the junk food
- 6:11eating or any of these variables actually.
- 6:13So all seven of those things together create what I like to
- 6:16call the inertia jumpsuit. And then I said jump.
- 6:20The inertia jumpsuit is basically the suit that you
- 6:22start zipping on and putting on until you put it on and you're
- 6:25sitting there full of inertia issues that have happened
- 6:28because you haven't taken the action.
- 6:29Now let's get to the good part. How do we get out of this?
- 6:32How do we take off the inertia jumpsuit?
- 6:34The easiest way to do this is to follow exactly what I say.
- 6:38You have A to do list with everything on there right now.
- 6:40Put everything into one list, and even if you've got 25 items
- 6:43on the list, I don't care. Put everything on that list.
- 6:45Now I want you to go through that list on one sheet of paper
- 6:48and look at everything on that list.
- 6:50Find out which one of those things, if you were to complete
- 6:53that first, would bring you the biggest satisfaction straight
- 6:59away. So it could be anything.
- 7:00If you're like, oh, you know, getting a job is going to give
- 7:03me the biggest satisfaction because it's going to be the
- 7:05biggest reward. That's the first thing I need to
- 7:06do, right? That's the one I should be doing
- 7:07first. OK, so get that you're finding a
- 7:09job, take that off your list, get a new piece of paper and
- 7:11write that on the top of it. Now I need you to put in the top
- 7:14right hand corner the date in which you want to complete this.
- 7:17By then I need you to write out all the steps in which you need
- 7:20to do in order to complete that main task or finding a job.
- 7:25So it could be writing out a resume and getting references,
- 7:28looking at job websites, applying for jobs, going to
- 7:32interviews, buying new interview clothes, all those things,
- 7:34right. And then every single day until
- 7:37that completion date, I want you to do one of those tasks on that
- 7:41white paper. Now, not until you've finished
- 7:43all of the tasks on that one thing and completed this, are
- 7:47you then allowed to move on to another item on that list.
- 7:49And when you do that, the same process follows.
- 7:51Look at the next one. Now, which one's going to be the
- 7:53most satisfaction and gratification after this?
- 7:56Boom, put on a new piece of paper and follow the same
- 7:58process. Now, the beauty is, guys, you've
- 8:00just rocked yourself out of inertia because you've already
- 8:03started moving yourself through space by creating these lists.
- 8:06And by creating those lists, you're not no longer in inertia
- 8:09because you're doing something about it.
- 8:11And the momentum will happen Once you start crossing one
- 8:13thing off your list, you want to start crossing other things off
- 8:15because those give you dopamine. You're welcome, a guy.
