Transcript
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Thursday, and that
- 0:16Speaker 1: means it's pop culture and Bravo pop and Bravo as
- 0:19Speaker 1: we call it. And I have a very special guest here.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I'd say it's a pop culture maybe expert, a Bravo expert.
- 0:26Speaker 2: It's Megan Weaver.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Hi.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Hey, Okay, Megan. First of all, you gotta say Mary Payne,
- 0:33Speaker 1: not Mary, because you know it's goes together, it's double.
- 0:39Speaker 1: It's a Southern thing.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Well, hello, Mary Pain, how are you?
- 0:44Speaker 2: It's hard. I know you're a California girl. How are y'all? There?
- 0:47Speaker 4: You go?
- 0:49Speaker 1: I know it's hard for non Southern nurse to get it,
- 0:53Speaker 1: but sometimes I just let people call me Mary the
- 0:56Speaker 1: entire podcast, and then I have listeners right in and go,
- 0:59Speaker 1: why didn't you ever correct them?
- 1:01Speaker 4: I'm like, I stand corrected.
- 1:04Speaker 3: I saw that in your email and it confused me
- 1:06Speaker 3: a little bit, but then I was like, okay, I
- 1:07Speaker 3: guess that's how she, you know, wants to be addressed,
- 1:11Speaker 3: So I didn't remember.
- 1:13Speaker 4: So Mary Paine.
- 1:14Speaker 1: In the South, everybody, most people have two names, and
- 1:18Speaker 1: you go by your first and your middle name, and
- 1:20Speaker 1: your middle name is usually somewhere along the line like
- 1:22Speaker 1: a mother's maiden name.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Situation, got it?
- 1:26Speaker 4: Ok me Megan Catalina?
- 1:28Speaker 1: Okay, Megan Catalina, Yeah, rolls off the tongue.
- 1:33Speaker 4: It really doesn't.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Okay, you guys.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Megan has a new podcast, and I'm specifically interested in
- 1:39Speaker 1: it because the name of the podcast is My Addiction
- 1:42Speaker 1: and it's Megan and her sister, who's like a super talented,
- 1:45Speaker 1: well known screenwriter.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Right absolutely television film big producer. I mean she she's
- 1:52Speaker 3: the real deal.
- 1:53Speaker 4: She's a big.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Wig, yeah, Marty. And so it's great because the two
- 1:58Speaker 1: of you are sisters. You explain at the beginning, like
- 2:01Speaker 1: your stepsisters, which you've been sisters since you were like seven,
- 2:03Speaker 1: so it's not like you need to say explain.
- 2:07Speaker 3: We've spent our whole lives together, so and raised in
- 2:10Speaker 3: the same family with the you know, with the same parents.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I mean I have had my dad, she had her
- 2:16Speaker 3: mom separately, but you know, in the same household. So
- 2:19Speaker 3: that's you know, that constituted sisterhood her sister.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and both of you have struggled through addiction, and
- 2:26Speaker 1: you talk about the addiction in both your families on
- 2:29Speaker 1: both sides, your blended family and it's fascinating. Now I've
- 2:33Speaker 1: listened to two episodes. Have you had our three out yet?
- 2:37Speaker 1: By third the third one?
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yeah, the third one drops Thursday today, and we have
- 2:42Speaker 3: Carl Radkeith from Summerhouse.
- 2:44Speaker 2: On Oh Megan. That's great.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fascinating and talking to him was super enlightening
- 2:50Speaker 3: and he was very honest and vulnerable and it was
- 2:54Speaker 3: a great conversation and I hope that everybody tunes in.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Yeah, so on your second so your first episode is
- 3:00Speaker 1: you and your sister Tat going through your story. The
- 3:04Speaker 1: second one was Amber Childers. Now my question about that is,
- 3:08Speaker 1: so she's your neighbor and we know her. She was
- 3:10Speaker 1: an actress that was on the show you. I think
- 3:12Speaker 1: she's been on other things. That's just what I know
- 3:13Speaker 1: her from, right, But she was married to Randall Emmett,
- 3:17Speaker 1: who was then not married but engaged to La La.
- 3:20Speaker 1: And I know that from following your career. You did
- 3:23Speaker 1: interior design work for La La when she was with Randall.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Please explain.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yeah, so I did Randall's house.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Gosh, I don't even know how many years ago it was.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I mean it was when Randall and Laala were together,
- 3:38Speaker 3: and I remodeled and redesigned their master bedroom, bathroom, and
- 3:43Speaker 3: their little girl's playroom, Randall's and Amber's little girl's playroom.
- 3:50Speaker 3: And it turned out beautiful. And I love Laala.
- 3:55Speaker 4: She was awesome.
- 3:57Speaker 3: But yeah, so that's the history there, and it's just
- 3:59Speaker 3: a coincident that now she lives on my street and
- 4:02Speaker 3: that the Lala connection.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Small world.
- 4:06Speaker 1: But Abra and Laala, it seems to me from what
- 4:08Speaker 1: you see that they're fine now because they have a
- 4:10Speaker 1: shared shared enemy.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Oh yeah, they're very good friends.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and they look alike. They look alike, don't you.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Amber's a redhead now, so they look a little different.
- 4:21Speaker 3: But yeah, they have similar aesthetic qualities. You know, they're beautiful,
- 4:26Speaker 3: and more importantly, they're both very kind and they have
- 4:30Speaker 3: huge hearts and they're lovely people.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Did Randall ever pay you?
- 4:35Speaker 4: He did?
- 4:36Speaker 2: Okay, he seems to be broke.
- 4:40Speaker 3: We came up with a settlement, so okay, I guess
- 4:43Speaker 3: you would call it.
- 4:44Speaker 4: But yeah, that's water under the.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Bridge, Okay, good, Okay, Well I remember that. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 4:50Speaker 1: in my mind the things that I remember and then
- 4:52Speaker 1: the things that I don't remember.
- 4:56Speaker 2: It's not great. It's not great.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Same girl.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Now, okay, I just I'm going to encourage everybody
- 5:03Speaker 1: to listen to your podcast and you don't have to
- 5:05Speaker 1: be so interested in the thoughts behind addiction. I think
- 5:10Speaker 1: it's just so interesting. You and your sister. The conversation
- 5:14Speaker 1: that you have is so natural, and then you have
- 5:16Speaker 1: Amber on. You explain like she's my neighbor and she
- 5:19Speaker 1: also is going through her sober journey as well, and
- 5:22Speaker 1: you sort of talk about which is something I've touched
- 5:25Speaker 1: on this podcast before. Some people had this whole theory
- 5:27Speaker 1: of sober or California sober or whatever works for you.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And I've talked to Randy So. Randy is a good
- 5:35Speaker 1: friend of John Hill, and she just randomly was on
- 5:38Speaker 1: ninety Day Fiance as like a friend of somebody that
- 5:41Speaker 1: was on ninety Day Fiance and John Hill's like, my
- 5:43Speaker 1: friend is on that.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Show you cover. I was like, wait, what, So.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I had her on because she is a like an
- 5:50Speaker 1: interventionist specialist, and she was saying kind of what you
- 5:55Speaker 1: guys were saying, which is, however, you're sober, to you
- 6:00Speaker 1: what's important and you can't judge if somebody is like, well,
- 6:03Speaker 1: you know, a couple of times a month I might
- 6:04Speaker 1: do mushrooms, and that's certain in me or California sobers,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I can still smoke weed that didn't turn out so
- 6:11Speaker 1: well for like James Kennedy, you know.
- 6:13Speaker 3: No, no, so yeah, recovery. Listen, we are not experts.
- 6:18Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 6:19Speaker 3: I'm only eighteen months sober. My sister has a lot
- 6:23Speaker 3: more time than me, and but we are not experts.
- 6:26Speaker 3: We only can share our experience and how we you know,
- 6:30Speaker 3: our walk through sobriety. I think that you know, recovery
- 6:35Speaker 3: is not a one size fits all. I think that
- 6:38Speaker 3: everybody has their own approach. And however you cannot pick
- 6:42Speaker 3: up that drink or do that drug or whatever it
- 6:44Speaker 3: is is up to you, and the best way for
- 6:48Speaker 3: you to, you know, keep maintaining that sobriety is your
- 6:52Speaker 3: that's your path, your decision, whether you're microdosing, whether you're
- 6:55Speaker 3: California sober, whether you know whatever it is that you
- 6:58Speaker 3: are abstaining from because it will kill you or ruin
- 7:01Speaker 3: your life, do it however however it you know, however
- 7:05Speaker 3: you can get that done.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I think it was just a really really, really great conversation,
- 7:12Speaker 1: and so I would agree. I want everybody, I want
- 7:13Speaker 1: everybody to listen to it because it's really good. It's
- 7:16Speaker 1: really well done, and I just like to promote podcasts
- 7:19Speaker 1: with you like super great.
- 7:21Speaker 4: We have a lot of fun, you know. The fact
- 7:23Speaker 4: of the matter is that we do.
- 7:24Speaker 3: You know, my sister is hilarious and we come from
- 7:29Speaker 3: a very funny family and so that that chemistry is there,
- 7:34Speaker 3: and it's it's not all about recovery and sobriety the podcast.
- 7:38Speaker 4: You know, we talk about.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Our you know, growing up and some fun stories about
- 7:43Speaker 3: our youth, and we also talk to other people about
- 7:46Speaker 3: their you know, stories that don't have anything to do
- 7:49Speaker 3: with this this sort of you know, sobriety topic. You know,
- 7:52Speaker 3: we do touch on it a lot because that's what
- 7:54Speaker 3: we're you know, that's what we want to you know,
- 7:56Speaker 3: get the message out. But we do have a lot
- 7:59Speaker 3: of fun and there are you know, a lot of
- 8:00Speaker 3: laughs along the way.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I like the sister dynamic. I have sisters and I
- 8:05Speaker 1: always let this sister dynamic. Now this is going to
- 8:08Speaker 1: be weird, but I'm about to change the background because
- 8:10Speaker 1: I realized to have all the background up.
- 8:11Speaker 2: So here we go. Now it's better. That's so cute.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Like the pink I had to put it because it's
- 8:17Speaker 1: the pop and Bravo logo and I had the wrong
- 8:19Speaker 1: logo up from earlier when I did a recap of
- 8:22Speaker 1: the Valley. Okay, so anyway, now it's that was fun.
- 8:26Speaker 1: That was really bothering me.
- 8:27Speaker 4: It was distracting you. I was distracting me, and now
- 8:32Speaker 4: I'm kicking the tables.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Okay, so let's talk about you know, speaking of your
- 8:37Speaker 1: podcast and Bravo, which we love to talk about. Like, Okay,
- 8:43Speaker 1: addiction on Bravo.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Is such a thing.
- 8:45Speaker 1: There was somebody, DJ James Kennedy that is not even
- 8:48Speaker 1: on my list because I forgot there's I tried to
- 8:50Speaker 1: just kind of make like a list of all the
- 8:52Speaker 1: addiction stories we've seen on Bravo, and I forgot about
- 8:55Speaker 1: DJ James Kennedy. That was kind of a big one.
- 8:57Speaker 1: So I've got Mary's son Robert Jr. On Salt Lake City.
- 9:03Speaker 1: We have Liam McSweeney who's in and out of sobriety
- 9:06Speaker 1: and suing Bravo over it. Currently, we have Margaret Josephs
- 9:11Speaker 1: who's not an addict but has clearly stated always I
- 9:14Speaker 1: don't drink. I don't drink at all, and she never
- 9:17Speaker 1: does anything she's been very you know, I have a
- 9:20Speaker 1: couple of friends like that, Like I've never tried it.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I have so much addiction in my family. I have
- 9:25Speaker 1: never wanted to have a drink because I've seen what's
- 9:28Speaker 1: gone on with the adults in my life. I think
- 9:30Speaker 1: Margaret maybe has a similar situation because of her mom.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Maybe. I mean, I think, you know, I've come into
- 9:36Speaker 3: a lot of I guess they call them teetotalers term
- 9:40Speaker 3: for people who just don't drink.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Some people just don't drink, you know.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I mean it's a totally foreign concept to me saying,
- 9:47Speaker 3: you know, there are people out there who just don't
- 9:49Speaker 3: like it and just don't touch the stuff, which you know, Wow,
- 9:53Speaker 3: I'm envious.
- 9:54Speaker 1: And just like I've never wanted to try it. You know,
- 9:56Speaker 1: I have kind of interior designer. My interiors is signer
- 10:00Speaker 1: for my house. Comes from a long line of you know,
- 10:02Speaker 1: Irish Catholic drunks. And she's just like, I saw, you know, my.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Uncle do this.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I saw these things as a child that I thought never,
- 10:14Speaker 1: never will I do that Now. A lot of kids
- 10:16Speaker 1: think that, yeah, and then they go to college and
- 10:19Speaker 1: they drink or whatever. But she's just like, no, I
- 10:21Speaker 1: don't care, like I don't miss it because I don't know.
- 10:23Speaker 1: And it's foreign to me as well, because I come
- 10:26Speaker 1: from a you know, big family people.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Drinking nice concept.
- 10:29Speaker 1: It's a nice concept to just be like, I'm just
- 10:31Speaker 1: going to leave it right now. We have lou Anne,
- 10:35Speaker 1: who's a kind of a case study because she had
- 10:38Speaker 1: a kind of a spectacular downfall. You know, she punched
- 10:42Speaker 1: a cop, went to jail, all the things, was court
- 10:46Speaker 1: ordered sober for a year, didn't make it that year,
- 10:50Speaker 1: had champagne darling at a cabaret. Then she declared that
- 10:55Speaker 1: she knows that she shouldn't drink anymore on camera, and
- 11:00Speaker 1: then was sober for a couple of seasons. Now she's
- 11:04Speaker 1: back on Love Hotel and just drinking like it's no problem.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I noticed that on Love Hotel.
- 11:10Speaker 3: You know, when when you are an alcoholic, you are
- 11:13Speaker 3: acutely aware of, you know, other people's drinking habits. Yes,
- 11:19Speaker 3: people you see on television. I mean, it's just natural,
- 11:22Speaker 3: it's just sort of what happens. And I did notice
- 11:24Speaker 3: watching Love Hotel. I was like, huh, I wonder if
- 11:27Speaker 3: Shannon and Luanne are going to be drinking you know, alcohol,
- 11:29Speaker 3: and sure, enough they are you know, A yeah, that's
- 11:33Speaker 3: it's up to them. You know, that is their choice,
- 11:36Speaker 3: your choice. I have no judgment around it. If they
- 11:40Speaker 3: can control their drinking, my hat's off to them, you know.
- 11:44Speaker 3: It's it really is an individual zone, yea to manage it.
- 11:49Speaker 3: And if they have and if they think they have
- 11:51Speaker 3: a problem or not, they you know very well just
- 11:53Speaker 3: may have gotten out of control a couple of times
- 11:54Speaker 3: and they had to face some consequences and and they're good,
- 11:58Speaker 3: you know, to each their own. But yeah, I didn't
- 12:01Speaker 3: notice the cocktails flowing on Love Hotel.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Well it's like.
- 12:06Speaker 1: My thing on that is, Yes, it's their individual thing.
- 12:08Speaker 1: And if they had a problem for a while, now
- 12:10Speaker 1: they fail, they have it under control, I think in
- 12:12Speaker 1: my in my personal experience, that's you're always And they
- 12:17Speaker 1: talked about this on Southern Term last not this current season,
- 12:20Speaker 1: that season before was shep They were like, you're always
- 12:23Speaker 1: bargaining with yourself, like, well, I'm just gonna drink beer
- 12:27Speaker 1: or I'm just gonna And I just know from my
- 12:29Speaker 1: own experience with my husband, like I told you, was
- 12:31Speaker 1: this coming up this year eleven years sober, it was
- 12:34Speaker 1: a lot of bargaining it was like, Okay, well, then
- 12:37Speaker 1: I'm just not gonna have Martiniz anymore because that's the problem.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Or I'm not gonna, okay, no more Scotch for me
- 12:43Speaker 1: because when I drink Scotch on me, so I'm not gonna,
- 12:45Speaker 1: you know.
- 12:45Speaker 2: And it's a lot of bargaining and only.
- 12:47Speaker 3: On the weekends never, you know, it's it's that's just
- 12:51Speaker 3: that's the nature of the beast.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, And the bargaining Louis and we saw created
- 12:56Speaker 1: a fose because she didn't drink anymore. I think if
- 13:00Speaker 1: she wouldn't have just been so out and about with
- 13:03Speaker 1: it on television. I don't drink anymore. I've realized I
- 13:05Speaker 1: can't have one drink Da.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Da dah, and then walked it back.
- 13:09Speaker 2: And then she hasn't ever walked it back.
- 13:11Speaker 1: She just all of a sudden was drinking again like
- 13:12Speaker 1: we would like us Bravo, people aren't gonna. So that's
- 13:16Speaker 1: one thing that's a case study. And then we have Shannon,
- 13:19Speaker 1: who at the last reunion, when they showed clip after
- 13:23Speaker 1: clip after clip of her clip of the last ten
- 13:26Speaker 1: seasons reunions, of every single reunion, them talking about her drinking.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Which sort of like we're like Goldfish Bowl, we.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Kind of forget and then you go, oh yeah, they
- 13:35Speaker 1: have mentioned it every single reunion. Say they mentioned that
- 13:41Speaker 1: every single reunion Caring gets drunk and calls us and
- 13:44Speaker 1: doesn't remember what she says.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Oh god, that's you know, I got to just say
- 13:48Speaker 3: it just to interrupt you for a second.
- 13:50Speaker 4: That breaks my heart.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, it just it just it's it's the
- 13:55Speaker 3: struggle is real, and you know it when.
- 13:59Speaker 4: I watched those things and they keep talking about the drinking.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And it just it really breaks my heart for those people.
- 14:07Speaker 3: And I know Shannon and I adore her, you know, yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 3: it's just it's really difficult. And I'm not here to
- 14:13Speaker 3: say she has a problem or doesn't have a problem,
- 14:16Speaker 3: but watching those things and watching all that happen on
- 14:19Speaker 3: television truly just ooh, it really gets to me more emotional.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I mean, well, you've been on television, so you know,
- 14:28Speaker 1: you were on many seasons of Flipping Out, Jeff Lewis's
- 14:31Speaker 1: show and his other show that he had, and I
- 14:36Speaker 1: you've been on television, so you've got to be in
- 14:38Speaker 1: my mind. And maybe if you've been on so long,
- 14:41Speaker 1: you sort of lose that like they're recording what I'm saying.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, yeah, yeah, you forget that the cameras
- 14:47Speaker 3: are there. You know, on the shows that I did
- 14:50Speaker 3: on Bravo with Jeff and then you were talking about
- 14:52Speaker 3: Hollywood Houselift was on Amazon free v. There we weren't
- 14:58Speaker 3: There wasn't a lot of like drinking or parties or trips.
- 15:01Speaker 4: It was all just you know, home run.
- 15:02Speaker 3: No, but there were a couple of nights we went
- 15:04Speaker 3: out and had like team meetings and things like that.
- 15:06Speaker 4: But I would.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Imagine that when you add alcohol to those situations, you forget,
- 15:13Speaker 3: you forget even further, even more that there's a camera
- 15:16Speaker 3: in your face.
- 15:17Speaker 2: And yeah, I mean I know, I would.
- 15:20Speaker 3: You know, if we were drinking on those shows and
- 15:24Speaker 3: you know the cameras that you already forget that they're there,
- 15:26Speaker 3: being you know, totally sober, But yeah, I would think
- 15:28Speaker 3: that alcohol would even blind you and leave even even
- 15:32Speaker 3: more that that's happening.
- 15:33Speaker 4: So mistakes are made.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And the Karen Hugre is rough because a lot a
- 15:38Speaker 1: lot was on the various podcasts and people chatty was
- 15:41Speaker 1: made about kind of the difference of like Shannon just
- 15:44Speaker 1: flat up I was wrong.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I made a terrible mistake. I could have hurt somebody.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I'm upset about how my children view me, like all,
- 15:52Speaker 1: you know, just saying all the right things and you
- 15:54Speaker 1: know and really and meeting it and meaning it and
- 15:58Speaker 1: trying to the court told me to do this. I'm
- 16:00Speaker 1: gonna do that. I have no questions. I obviously made
- 16:04Speaker 1: this mistake. And then the opposite was Karen Yuger just
- 16:08Speaker 1: just double tripling down.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Yeah that was nuts, man.
- 16:11Speaker 2: With just well, everyone will see that I did nothing wrong.
- 16:15Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, I'm not guilty.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Like that blew my mind that she was, you know,
- 16:22Speaker 3: dying on that hill of you know, it wasn't me
- 16:25Speaker 3: and I it didn't happen, and I was I'm not guilty,
- 16:29Speaker 3: and you'll find out.
- 16:30Speaker 4: I was just like, this is nuts.
- 16:32Speaker 1: And they would say to her like, okay, so we're
- 16:34Speaker 1: you know, having drinks, and they would kind of make
- 16:36Speaker 1: a big deal to poke at her to like we've
- 16:37Speaker 1: got a non alcohol drink for Karen over here, and yeah,
- 16:40Speaker 1: everybody's just being shady and I'll be back drinking with you, lady, Sue.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Don't you worry. It's like, don't say that, You're got
- 16:47Speaker 2: to have a trial don't.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Say that not a good look. Not a good look.
- 16:51Speaker 1: And then they go and they get they go to
- 16:54Speaker 1: the first trial and they have it pushed. Now I
- 16:58Speaker 1: have to think at that point they anybody knows, like
- 17:02Speaker 1: I obviously am not a lawyer, and I know there's
- 17:05Speaker 1: going to be bodycam. You can get a four year
- 17:07Speaker 1: request to get that information and to know that it's
- 17:10Speaker 1: out there, and still say, I'm not going to plead
- 17:13Speaker 1: guilty beforehand, you know, to get a lesser sentence. And
- 17:16Speaker 1: it was her third fourth, I think fourth, do you
- 17:18Speaker 1: I They said.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I knew that they were multiple, but yeah, that
- 17:21Speaker 3: body cam footage, that was nuts.
- 17:26Speaker 1: And you know you have to think, really, there, before
- 17:29Speaker 1: the grace of God, go on, how many times have
- 17:31Speaker 1: I been drunk and said the stupidest shit and then
- 17:35Speaker 1: to have it recorded and just have so much of it,
- 17:38Speaker 1: not just like one thing, but just like over and over.
- 17:41Speaker 2: And humiliating, humiliating.
- 17:46Speaker 1: So you think all that that then she's going to
- 17:48Speaker 1: be like, Okay, look I was in denial. Obviously there
- 17:52Speaker 1: was a big problem that night. I guilty, I am sorry.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I'm going to serve my time kind of like Shannon did.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I'm going to do whatever the court asks me. I'm
- 18:00Speaker 1: going to try to make amends.
- 18:02Speaker 2: But no.
- 18:03Speaker 1: At the reunion, they put out this completely fake, look
- 18:06Speaker 1: like lifetime movie scripted scene of Rag walking into the
- 18:11Speaker 1: room with her lounging on her bed and like all beige.
- 18:15Speaker 4: That was amazing, Thank.
- 18:18Speaker 3: You, rag full makeup, the wig, the all the things,
- 18:22Speaker 3: you know, like a boudoir pic.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, and you.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Know the back and forth and yeah, that was That
- 18:29Speaker 3: was something else.
- 18:30Speaker 1: That was so funny because je Giselle and Ashley and
- 18:33Speaker 1: then were like, you could turn that off, like we
- 18:36Speaker 1: got it. Yeah, Like this is so stupid because he's like, hello, Karen,
- 18:41Speaker 1: how are you feeling?
- 18:42Speaker 4: Wow?
- 18:43Speaker 2: That is surprising you were going to model?
- 18:46Speaker 4: That was so awful.
- 18:48Speaker 3: It was it was It was so cringe to watch, right,
- 18:51Speaker 3: You're just like shriveling up inside, going I can't believe
- 18:54Speaker 3: they're doing this.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And I love how they're like, please turn that off.
- 18:57Speaker 1: We yeah, this is this is love.
- 19:00Speaker 4: This is out of our misery.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Now.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I feel like and so like with jen Shaw being
- 19:07Speaker 1: in jail, I sort of feel like she won't come
- 19:12Speaker 1: back to Salt Lake City. Andy has said in things
- 19:14Speaker 1: I've heard on the radio, has said enough negative about her,
- 19:18Speaker 1: Like what she did was to take money from the elderly,
- 19:23Speaker 1: isn't I that.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Wasn't I mean, listen, a dui is no small you know,
- 19:27Speaker 3: of course, no small misstep. But I feel like what
- 19:32Speaker 3: she did for seems to me to be a lot worse,
- 19:37Speaker 3: you know, and premeditated. And you know, this wasn't a
- 19:41Speaker 3: mistake that somebody made, you know, having too many drinks
- 19:43Speaker 3: and getting behind the wheel of a car, which is
- 19:46Speaker 3: a huge mistake, don't get me wrong, but it feels
- 19:49Speaker 3: like the other thing is just a little bit more
- 19:53Speaker 3: serious to me, And I would think that's something you
- 19:55Speaker 3: can't come back to or as a network, you know,
- 19:59Speaker 3: condone or or forget.
- 20:00Speaker 2: You stand behind it, see it behind it now.
- 20:05Speaker 1: We also have another incident of questionable behavior on Salt
- 20:09Speaker 1: Lake City when Heather Gay got socked in the eye
- 20:12Speaker 1: by Ginshaw and wouldn't admit it. Now, so many people
- 20:16Speaker 1: did not hear this. So it was that season at
- 20:20Speaker 1: that particular reunion, and then the next season when Ginshaw
- 20:23Speaker 1: was gone. The first episode they're mentioning ketamine.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Oh I don't remember.
- 20:28Speaker 2: That, Yeah, I know, see a lot of people don't.
- 20:30Speaker 3: I was like, no, I didn't that, so, like, so
- 20:33Speaker 3: they did ketamine.
- 20:35Speaker 4: They were doing ketemine the nights she got hit.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Yeah, they're doing it now allegedly, I don't know, allegedly allegedly.
- 20:43Speaker 4: But it was so bizarre.
- 20:45Speaker 1: They were under their breath saying it at the reunion
- 20:47Speaker 1: and then on the first episode back after that or
- 20:51Speaker 1: somebody said like, well, Lisa an kenemine and got hit
- 20:53Speaker 1: in the face.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I mean, they were saying it.
- 20:56Speaker 4: I was like, I don't even know how you do ketamine.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Is it like a pill or drink or do you
- 21:02Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know how you do. Kiddle me,
- 21:05Speaker 4: but I know either. Yeah, that was also bizarre to me.
- 21:09Speaker 3: There was something and I still like, I still feel
- 21:13Speaker 3: like there's things that we don't know, and it just
- 21:15Speaker 3: it all seemed very strange.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I think they were just extremely fucked up on some
- 21:20Speaker 1: kind of jug and they didn't want to say what
- 21:22Speaker 1: it was.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Allegedly.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and that leads us to Jack's which for all
- 21:28Speaker 1: these years, no one's been saying he obviously is a
- 21:32Speaker 1: coke head.
- 21:32Speaker 4: I never he's totally pinned.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I have never seen cocaine in my life. Now, my
- 21:40Speaker 1: kids don't believe me. They're like, oh my god, you're
- 21:42Speaker 1: like so crazy and like deadhead and all this stuff.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I go, the dead Heads really aren't into the cocaine.
- 21:47Speaker 4: They're not as.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I've never seen it, but I can tell when somebody's
- 21:55Speaker 1: eyes are bugging out of their head and I had
- 21:58Speaker 1: to get four nose jobs that maybe something's happening.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that's it. To me. That was all pretty obvious.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:05Speaker 4: It was a I dabbled, you know, in the nineties
- 22:07Speaker 4: in college. You know, it never it was never really
- 22:10Speaker 4: my thing.
- 22:11Speaker 3: But I mean even somebody who has never touched the
- 22:15Speaker 3: stuff could could see something was going on. This sort
- 22:17Speaker 3: of agitation and the sweating and the talking gust and
- 22:21Speaker 3: you know, it just looked a little suss in my opinion.
- 22:24Speaker 3: So I wasn't surprised. I wasn't surprised. When he came
- 22:27Speaker 3: out and said that he, you know, has a problem.
- 22:29Speaker 3: I was like, oh, well, finally, thank god, he's asking
- 22:31Speaker 3: for help.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, I've listened to Britney's podcast that
- 22:37Speaker 1: she did after Jack's went on Alex Basker's podcast, right
- 22:42Speaker 1: because she had Kristin on and she was like, I
- 22:45Speaker 1: counted thirty two lies in that podcast, she wrote them
- 22:49Speaker 1: all down.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Basically, what she said was she had to threaten his
- 22:56Speaker 1: job with to tell production what was although I'm sure
- 23:00Speaker 1: production knows to tell production, Yeah, what had happened, which
- 23:05Speaker 1: appears to be something pretty serious that they're dancing around
- 23:09Speaker 1: that with happened with him throwing something or you know,
- 23:12Speaker 1: it's a bar stool.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Or yeah, something happened in yeah right, pretty bad.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, And she told production and so his job
- 23:21Speaker 1: was threatened and that's the only reason he went the
- 23:24Speaker 1: first time he went to the mental place, which she said,
- 23:28Speaker 1: within a week of being out of that.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Place, he was back at it.
- 23:32Speaker 1: So we're I guess we are going to see him
- 23:34Speaker 1: go twice.
- 23:36Speaker 2: And she even said, and watch what Happens live last night.
- 23:39Speaker 1: She was like, I sure if he says he's sober,
- 23:43Speaker 1: I mean, she absolutely does not believe it.
- 23:46Speaker 3: That's too bad. Again, that's heartbreaking. You know, it's you
- 23:50Speaker 3: gotta you have to want it for yourself. You can't,
- 23:53Speaker 3: you know, as you know, you know with your husband,
- 23:55Speaker 3: it's it's something that you have to only.
- 23:58Speaker 4: You can do it, you know.
- 23:59Speaker 3: And if you're going for your job or you're going
- 24:01Speaker 3: for your partner or you're going to rehab or some
- 24:03Speaker 3: sort of treatment facility.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not sure how successful you'll be, you.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Know, right.
- 24:09Speaker 3: I hope his recent trip or if he went, was
- 24:13Speaker 3: for himself and then he made the decision and it
- 24:15Speaker 3: wasn't from the pressures of you know, the outside world.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it just seems like the way she's talking is
- 24:24Speaker 1: you know, he's doing it to say face, as we've
- 24:27Speaker 1: seen him do. And you know, I really, at the
- 24:29Speaker 1: core of it, I don't even know, in my non
- 24:32Speaker 1: professional opinion, if substance abuse is Jack's main problem. You know,
- 24:38Speaker 1: he's always been a habitual liar, right, compulsive even you know,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I was trying to explain to Keisha, my co host.
- 24:46Speaker 1: We covered The Valley over on Patreon, and she never
- 24:49Speaker 1: watched VANDR Pump, so she's only watching The Valley. So
- 24:52Speaker 1: she's like, I've only seen this guy for a season
- 24:54Speaker 1: and a half and he seems like a liar.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I said, oh my god, you.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Got to go back Pumps.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Speaking at clip packages, if they put that together, he
- 25:04Speaker 1: was about the four things he bought at the grocery store.
- 25:07Speaker 2: He's a sure.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Everything for sure, and at the base of it, something
- 25:13Speaker 1: there has made him like that, and then that I
- 25:18Speaker 1: think he's a self medicating situation after that.
- 25:21Speaker 2: You know, right, yeah, yeah, so many people on.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Our shi anxiety. It is like watching just even watching Jack's.
- 25:31Speaker 3: On vander pump Way, before even I got sober or anything.
- 25:35Speaker 3: He just his freneticness gave me anxiety. Just watching him
- 25:40Speaker 3: talk or being my being, you know, just in his
- 25:43Speaker 3: state gave me such anxiety, you know.
- 25:48Speaker 1: And then what we saw, you know, what we see
- 25:50Speaker 1: now on this we only had three episodes this season
- 25:52Speaker 1: of The Valley is some of his behavior is a
- 25:55Speaker 1: little like triggering to me because I was reliving some
- 25:59Speaker 1: of my past with what he's saying is, well, yeah
- 26:04Speaker 1: I may have done that, but da da da, And okay,
- 26:07Speaker 1: I may have done that, but don't forget the one
- 26:10Speaker 1: time you did this.
- 26:11Speaker 3: You know.
- 26:11Speaker 1: It's a lot of he can't just say I did
- 26:13Speaker 1: that and I'm sorry. It's a lot of Okay, I
- 26:17Speaker 1: got mad, but anybody else can get mad too.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Deflecting, deflecting, deflecting, playing the victim. Poor me, you would
- 26:26Speaker 3: do this too if you were me, right, So that's
- 26:29Speaker 3: that's a big one.
- 26:30Speaker 4: That's a that's attic talk.
- 26:31Speaker 2: You know a lot of it is just straight up
- 26:33Speaker 2: attic talk.
- 26:34Speaker 1: And I was like telling Keisha, I was like, oh
- 26:36Speaker 1: my god, he's taking zero accountability and trying to put
- 26:40Speaker 1: it on Brittany, like it's Britney's fault.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Yeah, but if you were me, you would do this.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Too, Yeah, don't you know, like any guy, anybody react
- 26:49Speaker 1: this way.
- 26:49Speaker 3: And I think he even said that to one of
- 26:51Speaker 3: his buddies. I can't remember who he was talking to,
- 26:53Speaker 3: but I think he said, if this happened to you,
- 26:56Speaker 3: wouldn't you be upset? And the other person said, yeah,
- 26:59Speaker 3: wouldn't get physical, though I wouldn't throw I would throw things,
- 27:02Speaker 3: but you know.
- 27:03Speaker 1: And it's also the friends talking about like, well, if
- 27:06Speaker 1: this isn't his rock bottom, I don't know what is.
- 27:09Speaker 1: And it's also like, well, that may be rock bottom
- 27:13Speaker 1: for you, but maybe it wouldn't because you don't know,
- 27:15Speaker 1: because you're not an addict, so maybe it wouldn't be
- 27:17Speaker 1: your rock bottom. Maybe losing your kids just gives freeze
- 27:20Speaker 1: up more time for partying.
- 27:21Speaker 4: I don't know, right, Yeah, who knows?
- 27:24Speaker 2: It's so dark.
- 27:26Speaker 4: I hope he's okay.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I really do I do too, I really do too.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Okay, well, let us discuss something a little more light
- 27:35Speaker 1: that that is Love Hotel.
- 27:38Speaker 4: I mean there's only one episode out right now, right.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Yes, that's right, that's right. Yeah. I would you go
- 27:45Speaker 2: on Love Hotel? Hell no, with those guys we're looking.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I'll tell you why, because I'm too vain and I
- 27:55Speaker 3: don't know what's happening with their makeup on that show.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Beautiful Women and all of those girls are gorgeous, yeah,
- 28:02Speaker 3: and the make Now, I don't know if it's the
- 28:05Speaker 3: makeup or the lighting, but something is going on where.
- 28:10Speaker 4: They don't look good. And it may have just been.
- 28:16Speaker 3: That one night when they all maybe they were nervous
- 28:18Speaker 3: and maybe they were sweating, and maybe it was the community,
- 28:21Speaker 3: but it just looked like the makeup was leaking into
- 28:24Speaker 3: whatever crevices we all have at this age.
- 28:28Speaker 4: And I was just like, where's the makeup team? You
- 28:31Speaker 4: need to blend and.
- 28:33Speaker 3: You know, but it looks like they're having a good time.
- 28:36Speaker 3: I'm in I'm into it, you know. I watched it thinking, oh,
- 28:39Speaker 3: this is gonna blow. You know, I really didn't think
- 28:41Speaker 3: it's going to be compelling it all. I thought it
- 28:43Speaker 3: was just one of those you know, let's package this
- 28:46Speaker 3: and sell it.
- 28:47Speaker 4: But I can see that this is going to be
- 28:49Speaker 4: a good watch.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I think so too. And I was the same way.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I was like, all right, it's on watch.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Listen. I didn't watch Crappy Lake because I just couldn't.
- 29:01Speaker 3: I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it.
- 29:04Speaker 4: Was it?
- 29:04Speaker 3: Okay, maybe I will And I was thinking this is
- 29:06Speaker 3: going to be another one of those, but no, it
- 29:08Speaker 3: really surpassed all my expectations.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I have to tell you, you know, Okay, they're filming at
- 29:15Speaker 1: the Grand Vilas in Cabo.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Now.
- 29:17Speaker 1: I have been to a Grand v Loas in Riviera Maya,
- 29:20Speaker 1: which too, you've been there too? All inclusive, honey, All inclusive, honey.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I went there. I went there a couple of
- 29:28Speaker 3: years ago, three years ago or.
- 29:29Speaker 4: Something like that with my family. And it is the
- 29:32Speaker 4: one in Plyet al Carmen.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Right, yeah, it's near Port of Iarta, is all I know.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Oh the one I went to was in Plat al Karmen.
- 29:40Speaker 3: But anyway, yeah, they're at the one in Cabo.
- 29:42Speaker 1: So I there's actually a Grand v Loss that's closer
- 29:46Speaker 1: to me. That would be can Kun, which is closer
- 29:48Speaker 1: to me here on the east coast. But we went
- 29:50Speaker 1: all the way to the one over near Port of Iarta,
- 29:54Speaker 1: near that area because it was literally like half the price.
- 29:58Speaker 2: So we're like, but it was. And I don't know why.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I think the Cancuon one had just been on a
- 30:04Speaker 1: TV show. But the grand Villas in the Porta Vota area,
- 30:09Speaker 1: what is It's not rivi.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Or a maaya, that's a can coon. It's something else
- 30:14Speaker 2: it is.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I wrote that down wrong anyway, it it was so
- 30:18Speaker 1: nice and we've been.
- 30:19Speaker 2: To as the kids were young.
- 30:21Speaker 1: We went to a lot of all inclusives that were
- 30:23Speaker 1: just you weren't even looking forward to eating because you're like,
- 30:25Speaker 1: all this food is going to be disgusting.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Yeah, the drinks are watered down.
- 30:29Speaker 2: And it's very low.
- 30:31Speaker 1: But grand Vellas this I'm going to tell you right now,
- 30:33Speaker 1: ten out of ten highly recommend for an all.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Day same We love the grand Vellas and uh Plantelkerman, Yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 3: that has that has to be the one I went to.
- 30:43Speaker 2: There can't be that money now, you know.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Speaking of what we were speaking of earlier, we have
- 30:48Speaker 1: two sober people on this show that are both drinking,
- 30:52Speaker 1: and me as somebody married to an addict, and you
- 30:56Speaker 1: as an addict. We're not the only people watching this,
- 30:58Speaker 1: just regular people who have nothing to do with anything
- 31:01Speaker 1: who have followed Bravo are going to be watching to
- 31:03Speaker 1: see if Leu Anne and uh Shannon are drinking. And
- 31:06Speaker 1: they were not pounding drinks or doing shots or anything,
- 31:10Speaker 1: but they were. I mean, lou Anne had a whole
- 31:12Speaker 1: date around champagne, right.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Yes, yes, I know it's it's it's tough, you know.
- 31:19Speaker 3: That's another reason I wouldn't do the show, Mary Payne,
- 31:22Speaker 3: because it's I I can't imagine dating in that kind
- 31:28Speaker 3: of way with a bunch of guys and being on
- 31:29Speaker 3: vacation somewhere tropical U and not drinking. Yeah, those are
- 31:35Speaker 3: You're you're on a tropical vacation and you're going on dates,
- 31:39Speaker 3: multiple dates.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Those are two of the things that you know, my.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Sobriety has been relatively easy, but those two things have
- 31:47Speaker 3: been are difficult for me. Dating and the going on
- 31:50Speaker 3: a tropical vacation. You know, everything else has been pretty
- 31:54Speaker 3: pretty much a breeze. So that is that Grand hotels
- 31:58Speaker 3: not for me. So I can see why they're drinking.
- 32:02Speaker 4: I get it.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I get yeah, you know, the medicinal benefits of it,
- 32:06Speaker 3: but Yeah, it's interesting.
- 32:08Speaker 4: To watch that.
- 32:09Speaker 1: It's funny that you say that, and I've said this
- 32:11Speaker 1: on the podcast before that, and maybe you feel the same.
- 32:14Speaker 1: My my husband, well, he doesn't understand going to the
- 32:18Speaker 1: beach and not drinking. So like if we pack up
- 32:22Speaker 1: to go to the beach for the day and we're
- 32:23Speaker 1: at the beach and we have our cooler, he doesn't understand.
- 32:26Speaker 1: If I don't have like three high noons in there.
- 32:30Speaker 1: He doesn't I go because I don't want to sit
- 32:31Speaker 1: on the beach and sweat and drink. I'm just gonna
- 32:33Speaker 1: have water like it's hot. He's like, what, you could
- 32:36Speaker 1: have a beer? Like, I don't want a beer.
- 32:39Speaker 4: I'm with him.
- 32:40Speaker 2: He doesn't get it.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Oh, I would have a canned wine in two hot seconds.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Yeah, he doesn't understand.
- 32:46Speaker 1: So it's so for him, you know, he'll be like
- 32:49Speaker 1: every occasion is a drinking occasion, like what's wrong with you?
- 32:52Speaker 1: And when we go to dinner and things, if I'll
- 32:54Speaker 1: have a glass of wine, but when the waiter comes
- 32:57Speaker 1: back hills, she'll have another one. I'm like, no, I
- 32:59Speaker 1: don't want another one right maybe later. But he's he's
- 33:03Speaker 1: even eleven years in he's still very attuned. I don't
- 33:07Speaker 1: think he's like counting other people's drinks or anything like that, but.
- 33:11Speaker 4: It's your enormy, you know.
- 33:13Speaker 3: And to us alcoholics, you know, you're fascinating. It's we
- 33:19Speaker 3: can't imagine how you can just have one glass of
- 33:23Speaker 3: wine or not, you know, have a high noon on
- 33:26Speaker 3: the beach on vaking.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Yeah he doesn't.
- 33:28Speaker 4: He doesn't facinating to us. Yeah, we don't get it.
- 33:31Speaker 3: That's that's because that is actually normal consumption, you.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Know, not.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it should be, and you know we're envious of that,
- 33:39Speaker 3: you know. I think I could speak for all of
- 33:41Speaker 3: us that that is a you know, that's something we
- 33:43Speaker 3: envy of, being able to you know, moderate and just
- 33:47Speaker 3: be like everyone else, a normal person.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Enormy.
- 33:51Speaker 1: So okay, all right, leu Anne on this first episode
- 33:55Speaker 1: at least has come across to me is a little annoying.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Les.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Yeah, she just comes across as so arrogant to me.
- 34:07Speaker 2: This is my opinion.
- 34:09Speaker 1: And I've met her in person before and she was fine,
- 34:12Speaker 1: But I find her to be I met her during
- 34:15Speaker 1: one of her sober periods actually, but she comes across
- 34:19Speaker 1: them shows like, well, of course, all the guys are
- 34:21Speaker 1: gonna love me, darling, you know, and they don't it's
- 34:24Speaker 1: Real Housewives of New York actually, like, well, they don't
- 34:27Speaker 1: know what the show is, so they don't care.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Now, let's talk about these guys.
- 34:30Speaker 1: I'd like to go through them and see if you
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you hints and you see if you
- 34:34Speaker 1: can remember what they are. Okay, So we have a
- 34:36Speaker 1: guy named Nick. Okay, here are the red flags about Nick. Immediately,
- 34:41Speaker 1: he's a crypto entrepreneur.
- 34:45Speaker 4: I like that, Okay, I like, I remember reading that caption.
- 34:52Speaker 3: I'm like, huh, that's interesting. He made like he could
- 34:57Speaker 3: like who knows what could happen with him in his
- 34:59Speaker 3: life levels?
- 35:00Speaker 4: Okay, So there's Nick.
- 35:01Speaker 1: All right, okay, and he had an upper ear piercing
- 35:04Speaker 1: for no reason.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Ooh, I don't like that.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Yeah, everything he had.
- 35:08Speaker 1: And also later we see clip of him later and
- 35:10Speaker 1: he's got like a tank top on, and he's got
- 35:12Speaker 1: what I call I'm referring to my daughter and also
- 35:15Speaker 1: Harry styles, like the scribble tattoos everywhere, right, and I
- 35:19Speaker 1: have tattoos, like I don't care about tattoos, but he's
- 35:21Speaker 1: got what I say, looks like you just let a
- 35:23Speaker 1: child drawl over you, which is like, yeah, little that
- 35:25Speaker 1: little scribble all over Okay, yeah, yeah, so Nick, it's okay.
- 35:30Speaker 1: He's crypto entrepreneur, which to me seems uh not correct,
- 35:37Speaker 1: and has an upper ear piercing for no reason. All right,
- 35:40Speaker 1: so okay, Now next we have Ralph. Okay, Ralph is
- 35:44Speaker 1: sixty one. He's a sound system specialist from Nashville, has
- 35:49Speaker 1: two young boys that are ten and eleven, so he
- 35:51Speaker 1: obviously had like a second go round and had two
- 35:54Speaker 1: little kids.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Now.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I think he's kind of cute, and i'd like to
- 35:57Speaker 2: know what rock bands he's worked for.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I pay I paid attention to him because I
- 36:03Speaker 3: have a background in music and working you know, the
- 36:07Speaker 3: soundboard that he does at these shows, and I, you know,
- 36:10Speaker 3: spend a lot of time at Nashville. My best friend
- 36:12Speaker 3: lives there. So I like him. I think he's a
- 36:14Speaker 3: good He's a front runner for me.
- 36:16Speaker 1: I liked him, but I did really want him to
- 36:18Speaker 1: start dropping names of the bands.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Yeah, he probably can't do that. NDA's and stuff, but yeah,
- 36:24Speaker 3: or he's or he hasn't done anything that exciting. But
- 36:27Speaker 3: I think he's got some there's time, there's some kind
- 36:30Speaker 3: we've got I think he's kind of let the cat
- 36:31Speaker 3: out of the bag.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Okay, but if you find anything out from your connections,
- 36:35Speaker 1: you let me know.
- 36:36Speaker 4: I'll let you know.
- 36:37Speaker 2: All right, Now we have Earl, Earl the Pearl.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Earl the Pearl was fifty nine and had some questionable shoes.
- 36:46Speaker 4: Shoes.
- 36:46Speaker 3: What about that tak top he wore that next morning
- 36:49Speaker 3: with the sweat like, oh, he's sweet though.
- 36:53Speaker 1: He was sweet and he came across at first like
- 36:56Speaker 1: you were like, oh God, this guy's going to be
- 36:58Speaker 1: a douche, but he wasn't.
- 36:59Speaker 2: He's been married two times.
- 37:00Speaker 1: He had a brief marriage when he was young, and
- 37:02Speaker 1: then he had a long time wife that died of
- 37:05Speaker 1: cancer five years ago. They didn't they you know, didn't
- 37:09Speaker 1: freeze r eggs. They never had kids, and that was sad.
- 37:12Speaker 1: And Shannon actually was really listening to him and was like, well,
- 37:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry that she just kind of quickly went out.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I bet you had a wife that was like twenty,
- 37:19Speaker 1: you know, right, and then she he was like, actually,
- 37:21Speaker 1: now my wife died and that was rough.
- 37:25Speaker 2: But Shanna seems to kind of like him.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Well he's so sweet, and you know, vulnerability I find
- 37:34Speaker 3: is attractive, you know, and I think that he's laying
- 37:37Speaker 3: it all out there.
- 37:39Speaker 4: He's not unattractive.
- 37:41Speaker 3: He needs to get rid of those tank tops and
- 37:43Speaker 3: he needs to get rid of those shoes. But I
- 37:45Speaker 3: think if Shannon does end up liking him, I'm not
- 37:48Speaker 3: sure where this is going, none of us do. But
- 37:51Speaker 3: she can give him a little she can give Earl
- 37:52Speaker 3: the Pearl a little makeover.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Just like she did touch. Yeah. Remember when she Janson
- 37:57Speaker 2: she bought John Jansen some new teeth.
- 37:58Speaker 4: I think, yeah, yeah, it's easy, we can all do that.
- 38:01Speaker 2: It's a Ferragama loafers. Yeah, okay, then we have wal
- 38:08Speaker 2: a while. A is thirty eight.
- 38:09Speaker 1: He's an IT director from Providence, Rhode Island, not Rhode Island, Connecticut,
- 38:15Speaker 1: and he says he was with somebody for five years.
- 38:19Speaker 1: He goes to therapy and he really likes Ashley.
- 38:23Speaker 3: He's cute and I like their chemistry, I think, and
- 38:26Speaker 3: I love that he was with someone for five years.
- 38:29Speaker 3: I think that shows commitment, you know, and he's not
- 38:31Speaker 3: afraid of commitment meaning And I think that they're cute together.
- 38:35Speaker 3: I don't know if she's feeling it, but I think
- 38:37Speaker 3: they're I like them.
- 38:39Speaker 1: I liked it too, and I'm also I'm always trying
- 38:42Speaker 1: to geographically. I'm like, okay, so she's here in the
- 38:45Speaker 1: DC area. He's a Providence, Rhode Island. That's probably a
- 38:48Speaker 1: quick train ride. Philip is sixty three and investor from
- 38:53Speaker 1: LA and we don't get much of him until later,
- 38:57Speaker 1: so I don't know any backstory on him.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 38:59Speaker 1: We have Jay who's forty six. He's a marketing director.
- 39:04Speaker 1: He's from Boston. And again, Gizelle is in my area
- 39:08Speaker 1: and Boston is just up the East coast a little bit,
- 39:11Speaker 1: probably a quick train ride. He has two kids. Gizelle
- 39:13Speaker 1: likes that because he's already got his kids.
- 39:16Speaker 4: Jay Jay Jay does he will black classes.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Yes, that is who Gizelle goes on.
- 39:23Speaker 4: The date with, right, Okay, got it? Yep?
- 39:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:26Speaker 1: And then we have Jerry. Okay, Jerry is fifty seven.
- 39:30Speaker 1: He's a retired carpenter and a surfer. Lives in Puerto Rico.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Yes, yes, I paid attention to him. I think he's cute.
- 39:39Speaker 4: I like him.
- 39:40Speaker 3: I find him a little boring.
- 39:43Speaker 1: I'm wondering how he's a retired carpenter that retired to
- 39:47Speaker 1: Puerto Rico to surf.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Yeah, that's something was not doing there.
- 39:54Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's a red flag.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Mark is sixty one. He's a real estate developer from
- 40:00Speaker 1: New York City. He says he has no television. He
- 40:04Speaker 1: has five children. He was married for thirteen years now.
- 40:07Speaker 1: He to me is like super good looking. He looks
- 40:10Speaker 1: like like a male model to me, don't you.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Yeah. I've been following Mark for Ages on Instagram. I was, what, oh, yeah,
- 40:20Speaker 3: I think he's hot. I followed him on Instagram year
- 40:23Speaker 3: ages ago when he restores brownstones and things in New
- 40:26Speaker 3: York City.
- 40:27Speaker 2: WHOA.
- 40:28Speaker 3: So I always I follow a lot of you know
- 40:30Speaker 3: Reno account Yeah, you know construction, Reno build design stuff.
- 40:37Speaker 3: And I discovered Mark a couple of years ago or something,
- 40:40Speaker 3: and I was like, he's like, he's hot, silver Fox.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:43Speaker 3: And so when I saw him on the show, I
- 40:47Speaker 3: was like, oh my god, wild have.
- 40:49Speaker 2: You ever been in touch with him? Are there any dms?
- 40:52Speaker 2: Nothing like that?
- 40:52Speaker 4: No?
- 40:53Speaker 3: No, no, no, you know, it burst my bubble a
- 40:57Speaker 3: little bit because you know, on the these Instagram reels
- 41:01Speaker 3: he does, his renovations are you know, are beautiful and
- 41:04Speaker 3: these brownstones are beautiful. But when I saw him on
- 41:06Speaker 3: Love Hotel and he was cooking at home. That kitchen
- 41:10Speaker 3: he was cooking in looked a little little tired.
- 41:13Speaker 4: And a little sad.
- 41:14Speaker 3: I was like, maybe maybe Mark's not I don't know.
- 41:18Speaker 3: That was a little little red slade for me.
- 41:21Speaker 1: I need to go back and look at that because
- 41:23Speaker 1: that stuff I was just kind of glossing over.
- 41:25Speaker 2: I was just trying to get the background.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the cabinets were like from nineteen seventy. The
- 41:30Speaker 3: microwave was outdated. The stove he was cooking it just
- 41:33Speaker 3: looked tight.
- 41:33Speaker 4: And I mean it's New.
- 41:34Speaker 3: York, but it just looked really tired.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Sorry, Mark weird.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yeah, doctor healed myself. Yeah, okay, did you.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I thought it was interesting that Shannon said she's never
- 41:48Speaker 1: really been in love before.
- 41:50Speaker 4: I know, what about her husband? How what about David?
- 41:53Speaker 1: And I understand that she's they've had a contentious time
- 41:57Speaker 1: and David Badoura might be a little cuckoo alleged.
- 42:00Speaker 3: But but in the beginning, you know the yeah, yeah,
- 42:04Speaker 3: that was surprised by that too.
- 42:06Speaker 1: That that yeah, and do you think that's like a
- 42:09Speaker 1: that's like a that's a hindsight thing and she can't
- 42:13Speaker 1: really maybe put herself back in the mind that Yes,
- 42:15Speaker 1: she probably was really in love with him, and now
- 42:19Speaker 1: the current situation has sullied it so much.
- 42:22Speaker 4: I think you're right.
- 42:23Speaker 3: I think that you've got a point there because I
- 42:25Speaker 3: feel like even watching Housewives, when they were struggling and
- 42:29Speaker 3: they were going to all those sort of marriage camps
- 42:32Speaker 3: and things like that, I think it felt like she
- 42:33Speaker 3: was really trying, and the vow renewal and I yeah,
- 42:37Speaker 3: like I feel like she did love him, and I
- 42:39Speaker 3: think she really was in love with him, And yeah,
- 42:41Speaker 3: I think it's all the all the hard stuff that followed,
- 42:45Speaker 3: you know, really hurt her and probably made her not
- 42:48Speaker 3: be can't she probably can't access, yeah, you know, those
- 42:52Speaker 3: feelings she had for him in the beginning because it's
- 42:54Speaker 3: been so painful.
- 42:55Speaker 4: That would be my guess.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I mean she did love
- 42:58Speaker 2: John Jansen too, even though it didn't turn out so great.
- 43:01Speaker 4: I think, so I think so appreciated.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Okay, So I want her to find love.
- 43:07Speaker 4: I wanted to find love.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Me too, me too. So they go on these days,
- 43:13Speaker 2: so Ashley takes wallet.
- 43:14Speaker 1: They have this chocolate making class and he peels this
- 43:17Speaker 1: cacao bean, which means he's ready for marriage. And I
- 43:21Speaker 1: was like, the bean talk was too.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Much for me.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Then Giselle takes Jay with the glasses on the date,
- 43:28Speaker 1: they do a tequila tasting and a twenty five thousand
- 43:31Speaker 1: dollars taco.
- 43:33Speaker 4: What was that?
- 43:35Speaker 3: I think that must be in pesos?
- 43:41Speaker 4: What is that? Besa?
- 43:45Speaker 1: They didn't say besos, they said twenty five thousand dollars?
- 43:50Speaker 4: What is twenty five?
- 43:52Speaker 3: I wonder if we do the math, if net we're
- 43:54Speaker 3: looking at like a ten dollars fifteen dollars dollars taco.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Because they were like, They're like, it's got this kind
- 44:00Speaker 1: of Kobe beef and this kind of caviare and then
- 44:03Speaker 1: we've got the gold on top. And I was like,
- 44:05Speaker 1: so you're telling me, for the sake of this show
- 44:08Speaker 1: that probably didn't even cost fifty thousand dollars to produce,
- 44:11Speaker 1: you're going to have two twenty five thousand dollar talk.
- 44:14Speaker 3: It's just like, might if you have those glasses, you
- 44:16Speaker 3: have those sunglasses? Twenty five thousand, right, That's all I.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Can think about.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Yeah, And I was like, if they presented that to me,
- 44:24Speaker 1: I would be like, I don't I don't want to
- 44:26Speaker 1: eat that.
- 44:27Speaker 2: I don't like I got a.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Paper n yu.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, just send me the cash, send me the check.
- 44:33Speaker 1: So anyway, at the end of it, she says she
- 44:35Speaker 1: thinks he might be a bit boring and she's leaving
- 44:37Speaker 1: her options up and good, all right. Shannon takes Earl
- 44:40Speaker 1: the pearl's wearing the shoes and they eat cheese, and
- 44:44Speaker 1: we do see her drinking and doing cheers with one.
- 44:47Speaker 1: They have all the wine glasses in front of them
- 44:49Speaker 1: as if they're doing wine pairings with.
- 44:51Speaker 2: The cheese, but we avoid that topic.
- 44:56Speaker 1: She tells him about her dui and she tears up
- 45:00Speaker 1: as it was a horrible moment in her life, and
- 45:02Speaker 1: he says, who amongst us hasn't made a mistake in
- 45:05Speaker 1: our lives. I don't judge her, and I think it's
- 45:07Speaker 1: really sweet. I don't know if she's gonna leave her
- 45:10Speaker 1: options open or just jump right in with Earle.
- 45:13Speaker 2: I hope not. I hope she will leave her options.
- 45:17Speaker 2: I do too.
- 45:17Speaker 3: I like him a lot.
- 45:19Speaker 4: I like that she's being open. I like you know.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Again, I'm I'm rooting for her all the way. Let's see,
- 45:26Speaker 3: there's you know, there's some other guys there, and I
- 45:28Speaker 3: think she should explore the possibility with these other guys too.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Yeah, so LEU Anne takes Jerry, so they drink champagne
- 45:36Speaker 1: by clamshell. Just no mention of any the fact that
- 45:40Speaker 1: Leu Anne has said publicly she is a sober person
- 45:43Speaker 1: and she created a foes. She's just gonna drink champagne.
- 45:47Speaker 1: So it's just gonna act like we act like it
- 45:49Speaker 1: didn't happen. So she did try to drop in a
- 45:53Speaker 1: life as a cabaret darling. Oh god, she constantly tries
- 45:59Speaker 1: to drop it in no matter what podcast, radio show
- 46:02Speaker 1: anything you hear her on.
- 46:04Speaker 2: We get it. You have a cabaretio. We all get.
- 46:07Speaker 3: It self promotion, right, so you to get it where
- 46:11Speaker 3: you can get it. I know, And I think she
- 46:13Speaker 3: is playing this whole thing where she comes across like
- 46:16Speaker 3: you said in the beginning, I think she's she's.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Playing a character.
- 46:20Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know how much of it is
- 46:22Speaker 3: really who she is or who she thinks we want
- 46:25Speaker 3: to see, you know. I think I think a lot
- 46:27Speaker 3: of it is she gets a lot of laughs for
- 46:29Speaker 3: this darling stuff and d D, and I think she's
- 46:32Speaker 3: rewarded for that, and so she leans into it. So
- 46:34Speaker 3: I think a lot of this on on Love Island
- 46:37Speaker 3: or whatever, this is what are we watching hotel. I
- 46:40Speaker 3: think that she's she's leaning into that character because everybody
- 46:44Speaker 3: gets such a kick out of it, you know, And
- 46:46Speaker 3: and maybe it's coming on. She's laying it on a
- 46:48Speaker 3: little thick. So maybe a little dabble, a little dabble,
- 46:52Speaker 3: do you But I.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Do think, you know, she comes across like, well, I
- 46:56Speaker 1: have a boat, and of course I know the sea
- 46:58Speaker 1: because I'll have a a and that.
- 47:01Speaker 2: And you're like, we get it, you're rich.
- 47:03Speaker 3: I mean, okay, the guy rolled his eyes a little
- 47:07Speaker 3: bit of that too. I caught like a little eye
- 47:09Speaker 3: roll there.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Yeah, it was interesting.
- 47:11Speaker 1: She tried to drop in the life as a cabaret,
- 47:13Speaker 1: but it gets overshadowed by the ball busting comments and
- 47:15Speaker 1: the busting and the balls and the he talks about
- 47:19Speaker 1: his surfing life in Puerto Rico. He wakes up, he surfs,
- 47:22Speaker 1: and he only gets, you know, in a bad mood
- 47:24Speaker 1: if the surfing isn't great, And she.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Goes, I don't know. I don't think I could retire
- 47:28Speaker 2: on a beach. I think I'd be bored.
- 47:30Speaker 1: And then they walk on the beach for twelve maybe
- 47:34Speaker 1: fourteen steps, and she goes, I'm done. She looks at production,
- 47:37Speaker 1: like we did it, you got the shot. I don't
- 47:39Speaker 1: want to talk to him anymore.
- 47:40Speaker 4: I was like, whoa, I clocked that too.
- 47:44Speaker 3: I was like, okay, this is you know again, that
- 47:47Speaker 3: makes me believe that this is all a character an act,
- 47:51Speaker 3: you know, this is not she's doing it for the
- 47:54Speaker 3: you know, for the for the viewers.
- 47:56Speaker 1: I will say that when we see they do like
- 47:58Speaker 1: professional talking heads together, and we've seen Leuyenne and Shannon together,
- 48:03Speaker 1: and I don't necessarily feel that leu Ayne is like
- 48:06Speaker 1: a girl's girl or one that's gonna be like give
- 48:08Speaker 1: you a pep talk. I mean I feel like more
- 48:10Speaker 1: like if you go to the bathroom, she'll try to
- 48:11Speaker 1: steal your boyfriend.
- 48:12Speaker 2: You know, the situation, you know. But I did think
- 48:15Speaker 2: she was being.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Really nice to Shannon, like you know, oh, you're beautiful
- 48:18Speaker 1: and you deserve love, and you know she's trying to Like. Also,
- 48:21Speaker 1: I don't think she sees Shannon as any competition.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Sure, I mean right, I think they would probably be
- 48:28Speaker 3: going for different guys, and different guys would be going
- 48:30Speaker 3: for them.
- 48:31Speaker 2: You know.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:33Speaker 1: So after the dates, they meet back in this main
- 48:35Speaker 1: area and they're kind of like are talking to other guys.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Shannon is now talking to Ralph, and let's remember who
- 48:42Speaker 1: Ralph is. Ralph is the sound system specialist that has
- 48:45Speaker 1: the two. I'm having to keep looking.
- 48:48Speaker 4: It's confusing.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Then Giselle talks with Ralph, and Shannon is like, oh,
- 48:52Speaker 1: she's talking to Ralph Nick with the scribble tattoos and
- 48:57Speaker 1: the random high ear piercing.
- 49:00Speaker 2: See now you and the crypto. Now you're concerned because of.
- 49:03Speaker 4: The Yeah, I'm very concerned about this.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, tells Ashley you know, next time there's a date, like,
- 49:09Speaker 1: I want you to take me on the date, which
- 49:11Speaker 1: I think is sort.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Of unattractive, right, don't desperate?
- 49:15Speaker 3: Right?
- 49:15Speaker 1: I agree, And then Wilele says to Ashley, let me
- 49:19Speaker 1: walk you to your room and no kiss, and then
- 49:21Speaker 1: she's annoyed and she goes inside, but then he goes
- 49:23Speaker 1: back to kiss her, and I was.
- 49:25Speaker 2: Like, that was a good move.
- 49:26Speaker 3: It was he's I like him. I think he's I
- 49:28Speaker 3: think he's cute. He seems authentic to me.
- 49:32Speaker 2: I like him. Now, the upcoming previews look really good.
- 49:34Speaker 1: I didn't write them all down, but I'm surprised that
- 49:38Speaker 1: Moore hasn't come up. Just in the Bravo world about
- 49:42Speaker 1: this all the stuff that happened with Joel Kim Booster
- 49:45Speaker 1: after it was over, speaking of intoxicated, got drunk at
- 49:50Speaker 1: an after party and like dreamed on Shannon.
- 49:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember that.
- 49:54Speaker 4: I was doing the radio.
- 49:55Speaker 3: I think back then, and when that came out, there
- 49:59Speaker 3: was with some headlines. There was some Headlinesesnon and that host.
- 50:05Speaker 3: So far, so far, so good, like so far, it
- 50:07Speaker 3: seems she's respectful and they're getting along. I don't know
- 50:10Speaker 3: if we're I don't know if us as the audience,
- 50:12Speaker 3: we'll get to see that whatever went down that that
- 50:15Speaker 3: made the press. Yeah, I don't I don't, even, to
- 50:18Speaker 3: be honest with you, I don't even remember what the
- 50:20Speaker 3: beef was. But I know that there's something happened where
- 50:22Speaker 3: he felt disrespected.
- 50:24Speaker 1: He at the after party approached someone and was you know,
- 50:28Speaker 1: drinking or whatnot, and was going off on how.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Horrible she was.
- 50:33Speaker 1: She kept production waiting, she was a nightmare to work with,
- 50:36Speaker 1: said terrible things about her daughters and not good And
- 50:42Speaker 1: and then I remember when uh uh Shannon, and uh,
- 50:46Speaker 1: I guess just VICKI not Tamrow.
- 50:48Speaker 2: We're doing the dose.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Somebody goes and I guess somebody asked her about it,
- 50:52Speaker 1: and she said, well, I thought everything. I thought, we
- 50:54Speaker 1: had a nice time, and I was very surprised that
- 50:56Speaker 1: he said all those things about me, and yes, it
- 50:58Speaker 1: was very upsetting. And but you know, people that I
- 51:01Speaker 1: had talked to in that world, you know, we're like,
- 51:04Speaker 1: that's really stupid of Joel Kim Booster, because that's that's
- 51:07Speaker 1: the way to never get another hosting John Bravo again.
- 51:11Speaker 3: And you mentioned again, because you know, this is what
- 51:14Speaker 3: I hear with my alcoholic brain, you said that he
- 51:16Speaker 3: was at an after party drinking when ye when he
- 51:19Speaker 3: unleashed on her.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Oh, he like went live.
- 51:22Speaker 1: It was like, okay, well he posted like get ready
- 51:25Speaker 1: in five four three two one, I'm about to go
- 51:27Speaker 1: live and tell everybody.
- 51:28Speaker 4: So okay, well there you go.
- 51:29Speaker 3: I mean that explains that, that explains his behavior, And
- 51:35Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm buying it. You know, yeah,
- 51:37Speaker 3: I think I've always I think Shannon.
- 51:40Speaker 4: Was probably super respectful and did a good job.
- 51:43Speaker 1: You know, I think if you're doing a show with
- 51:44Speaker 1: four housewives, you might expect some diva behavior.
- 51:48Speaker 4: So my makeup took a little longer. Sorry, you know.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Also, and also also it didn't work.
- 51:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I had.
- 51:57Speaker 2: To pay for that lady to blot me exactly. Now
- 52:01Speaker 2: the Valley, What are your.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Thoughts on the Jesse Versus Michelle situation?
- 52:08Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, I listen, there are two
- 52:12Speaker 3: sides to every story, and we are hearing both sides, right.
- 52:15Speaker 3: So normally you're friends with one person, you know, in
- 52:19Speaker 3: a marriage or separation or divorce dispute, so you always
- 52:22Speaker 3: hear their side and you don't really get to hear
- 52:24Speaker 3: the other person's side. And this you get to hear
- 52:29Speaker 3: both sides, and I'm like, I don't know. I feel
- 52:32Speaker 3: like both of them make really good arguments, and it
- 52:34Speaker 3: seems like they're both you know, screwing up and also
- 52:39Speaker 3: you know, championing, championing their kid, being their children's advocates.
- 52:42Speaker 4: So I'm torn. I'm torn.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Yeah, So Keisha and I record together and she's very like,
- 52:48Speaker 1: thinks Jesse is great, and I'm like, are you insane?
- 52:51Speaker 1: And I don't think Michelle is the greatest either. I think,
- 52:54Speaker 1: like you're saying, they both have problems here, but.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Jesse, you know.
- 53:00Speaker 1: When she said at the end of the episode, well
- 53:01Speaker 1: he's just as bad as Jacks. I was like, Okay,
- 53:04Speaker 1: let's walk that back. I think there probably are both
- 53:08Speaker 1: narcissistic personalities that don't like they've been rejected by a woman.
- 53:13Speaker 1: I think that's true of both of these guys. It
- 53:15Speaker 1: seems Jesse really thinks Jack's is like super cool, which
- 53:18Speaker 1: is weird. I think Jesse is very very smart. Where
- 53:23Speaker 1: we with Jax that is not.
- 53:24Speaker 3: The case, right, Yeah, Jesse seems like a smart cookie.
- 53:29Speaker 3: You know, listen, they probably both have control issues, and
- 53:34Speaker 3: you know, during a divorce or separation, you sort of
- 53:37Speaker 3: lose you don't have control anymore over with that person
- 53:42Speaker 3: or the outcome or what happens. So that's probably put
- 53:45Speaker 3: them in both difficult situations.
- 53:48Speaker 4: But I wouldn't compare Jesse to Jacks.
- 53:50Speaker 2: I don't I would either.
- 53:52Speaker 4: I don't see that. But you know, what do I know?
- 53:55Speaker 1: Do you have thoughts on these men between the age
- 53:58Speaker 1: of thirty eight and forty five having a boys chat
- 54:03Speaker 1: with twenty guys on it where they just say whatever
- 54:06Speaker 1: they want and think it's just gonna never get out
- 54:09Speaker 1: with twenty people on it.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's weird to me, like very strange. It
- 54:15Speaker 3: is it just go go be somewhere? Is it online?
- 54:19Speaker 3: Are they chatting like on a you don't remember.
- 54:22Speaker 2: It's like an imassage group chat. Stupid, stupid, and they.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Think nobody's there, and then you know, Jesse's Jack Jax
- 54:31Speaker 1: thinks that there's a mole.
- 54:32Speaker 4: I was like, of course there is.
- 54:35Speaker 2: There's not a mole. I just yeah, I picked up
- 54:37Speaker 2: my husband's phone and looked at it, like, you guys
- 54:38Speaker 2: are so fucking stupid.
- 54:40Speaker 4: So dumb.
- 54:41Speaker 3: Yeah, if you got yeah, just go somewhere, go hang
- 54:43Speaker 3: out at a restaurant, get things off your chest. You know,
- 54:45Speaker 3: you have to say or do anything that can be
- 54:48Speaker 3: recorded or seen.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really stupid. Yeah, but it was.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I was like, oh my gosh, Jesse's like Jack's my
- 54:55Speaker 1: king is at camp, so I must take the mantle
- 54:58Speaker 1: and find the mole. And the boy's chat. I'm like,
- 55:00Speaker 1: you guys, at forty five years old, you need to
- 55:02Speaker 1: stop with the boys chat.
- 55:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:05Speaker 2: Oh, but it's a great show. The Valley's a great show.
- 55:08Speaker 2: I love it.
- 55:08Speaker 3: I mean, listen, I live in the valley, so I
- 55:10Speaker 3: grew up. I grew up in the valley, so I
- 55:13Speaker 3: recognize all those street signs and all those locations and
- 55:18Speaker 3: the heats and when they what they reference and yeah,
- 55:21Speaker 3: so I love it.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Oh, now you and I talked.
- 55:25Speaker 1: We were texting yesterday about Atlanta because I was like, well,
- 55:29Speaker 1: I'm not caught up. I've been traveling a ton and
- 55:31Speaker 1: so I'm not caught up. I'm one behind. But you
- 55:34Speaker 1: caught up at least through the Kenya and brit of
- 55:38Speaker 1: it all.
- 55:38Speaker 4: Oh, I'm all caught up. I am all caught up.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Could you believe that? Said?
- 55:43Speaker 1: Can you believe Kenya did that at her own opening
- 55:47Speaker 1: of her own business that she was dedicating to her daughter.
- 55:50Speaker 3: More importantly, more importantly, yeah, I mean horrific, Yeah, but
- 55:55Speaker 3: more importantly, blew up her.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Job, her main job, which is the show. Like she's
- 56:04Speaker 1: been on a long time. She makes a lot of
- 56:06Speaker 1: money on this show.
- 56:06Speaker 3: And on since the very early days, you know, and
- 56:09Speaker 3: for her to to do something so risky like that
- 56:14Speaker 3: and you know, morally corrupt, I'm going to say it
- 56:19Speaker 3: was a really really stupid move. You know, that's your
- 56:22Speaker 3: bread and butter. She's crying that she's worried that her
- 56:25Speaker 3: salon's not going to make it or be successful, you know,
- 56:28Speaker 3: and you've got this backup plan or it's actually your
- 56:32Speaker 3: probably your plan a being on Housewives of Atlanta and
- 56:35Speaker 3: to put that in jeopardy very short sighted in my opinion.
- 56:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know, people are like, oh, well, they'll
- 56:42Speaker 1: probably wait two seasons and bring her back because they
- 56:45Speaker 1: are bringing back Phaedra. But I think the bringing Phaedra
- 56:49Speaker 1: back is because they're like, hey, one of our stars
- 56:52Speaker 1: we had to act, and it's very similar in my opinion,
- 56:56Speaker 1: to what's happening on the Valley. They had to Jax
- 56:58Speaker 1: goes away, so they're like, can we bring in La
- 57:00Speaker 1: La and Sheena for a couple of episodes? I got
- 57:03Speaker 1: we got to bring in some Ravo heavy hitters here
- 57:06Speaker 1: to replace.
- 57:07Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, yeah, yeah, probably. I love Pedra and can
- 57:11Speaker 3: we Okay, can I just tell you I am obsessed
- 57:16Speaker 3: in love My favorite housewife ever is Shamya Samia Shemiah.
- 57:23Speaker 1: It's like we didn't even know you before because she
- 57:25Speaker 1: was always on as a friend of.
- 57:28Speaker 4: Love her.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Can you imagine that house nine million?
- 57:34Speaker 3: And I got to tell you I'm not mad at
- 57:36Speaker 3: her decor, you know, for the over over the top
- 57:40Speaker 3: you know, I mean, sorry, Mary Crosby, love you too,
- 57:43Speaker 3: you know, talking about over the top decor. I mean,
- 57:47Speaker 3: I don't know I can't get behind Mary's decor. I
- 57:50Speaker 3: love her, but I did.
- 57:51Speaker 2: It's a little willy Wonka.
- 57:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a little much with the tall chairs, but
- 57:57Speaker 3: shemi is I you know, it's over the right, but
- 58:02Speaker 3: I like it.
- 58:04Speaker 1: But also, don't you think, Meggan, if you have a
- 58:05Speaker 1: space that big, yeah, you can't be you know, grays
- 58:09Speaker 1: and whites and subtle tones and sectionals and and you know,
- 58:13Speaker 1: because the space is so huge, every room is is
- 58:17Speaker 1: like going to Versailles or something, so you have to
- 58:19Speaker 1: sort of go with the style of the house.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Maybe yeah, yeah, I think she's done or her designers,
- 58:27Speaker 3: you know, has done a great job with the spaces.
- 58:29Speaker 3: I love her girls hangout room.
- 58:31Speaker 4: Yeah, the pink couches, you know.
- 58:34Speaker 2: I love.
- 58:35Speaker 1: On the first episode, she's like, I'd love to say
- 58:37Speaker 1: my husband's in Nigerian prince, but yeah, it's HVAC.
- 58:42Speaker 4: Again.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Another reason I love this couple and them on this show.
- 58:48Speaker 3: You know, he's an HVAC king and he apparently does
- 58:52Speaker 3: like all the airports and you.
- 58:53Speaker 4: Know goods she says.
- 58:54Speaker 1: She said, like stadiums and airports. You're like, WHOA, what.
- 58:58Speaker 3: A great niche she found, and that that business, right
- 59:01Speaker 3: good for him and good for her.
- 59:03Speaker 4: I think she's fantastic.
- 59:05Speaker 3: I think she's the funniest portions great too, But I
- 59:07Speaker 3: think Samiah is the dark horse and that little gem.
- 59:11Speaker 4: We never saw it coming.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, I agree.
- 59:14Speaker 1: So she came in and we were like, she's now
- 59:16Speaker 1: the anchor of the show, Like, what's this avalue?
- 59:18Speaker 2: That are your Like? It works? It works.
- 59:20Speaker 1: They took their time, They took their time kind of
- 59:22Speaker 1: retooling the show, and.
- 59:23Speaker 2: It really works. I agree.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Oh okay, Well, we are going to be done with
- 59:28Speaker 1: this portion of the show, so there's gonna be a
- 59:31Speaker 1: little bonus over on subscriber services Patron, Supercast, Apple, for
- 59:35Speaker 1: anybody wants to hear more with Megan. But we're done
