On this day in 1963 Navy beat Army in the annual Army/Navy game that was delayed a week due to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Navy, led by Heisman winner Roger Staubach, would go on to play the National Champion Texas Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl to end the season.
