- 0:15Speaker 2: with Remy Batter Hello Gorgeous. Hello, all right, I have
- 0:18Speaker 2: some fan questions for you.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:21Speaker 2: The first one, what's your favorite clothing brand right now?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Oh that's hard. I like looking at what I'm wearing.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Your outfits fucking fire today.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Thanks? Wait, what is my favorite clothing brand right now?
- 0:34Speaker 1: I feel like I've just been chopping on Revolve and
- 0:35Speaker 1: then I get a bunch of different brandferent brandsh I
- 0:38Speaker 1: gotta give one. I don't know, Like I always love
- 0:41Speaker 1: Good American. I think that they're great for like just jeans,
- 0:45Speaker 1: casual body suits, things like that.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I never met a piece of Good American that I
- 0:51Speaker 2: didn't fucking love.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Yeah, So, like that's always honestly, like before I even start,
- 0:55Speaker 1: I always loved that was the definition of like what
- 0:59Speaker 1: was like a cute for someone that was like curvy,
- 1:02Speaker 1: when nothing else existed that was cute for like plus
- 1:04Speaker 1: size or anything. So I was always a big fan. Obviously,
- 1:07Speaker 1: I love Chloe.
- 1:08Speaker 2: When she reached out to you to do her podcast,
- 1:11Speaker 2: did you like go into a grave?
- 1:13Speaker 1: It was before I met her a few years ago,
- 1:15Speaker 1: and I was not well, like I was in LA
- 1:18Speaker 1: and they were like, there's an event where you can
- 1:20Speaker 1: go meet Chloe And that was the most nervous day
- 1:22Speaker 1: of my life.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Really.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Yeah, SoJ was my person when I was younger, Like
- 1:25Speaker 1: I didn't follow influencers and stuff, but like when I
- 1:28Speaker 1: was younger, even in like middle school, people were like,
- 1:30Speaker 1: you're Chloe, like when I was, like when I was
- 1:33Speaker 1: a young carp and then they were just like and
- 1:37Speaker 1: then she lost a bunch of weight, and then people
- 1:39Speaker 1: I was like, oh, that's not me anymore for a
- 1:42Speaker 1: long time.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Wow. Do you kind of feel like now being on
- 1:46Speaker 2: the other side of it that, like you're like, oh,
- 1:50Speaker 2: I now relate because it's kind of a similar situation.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Well, that's why I went on her podcast to talk
- 1:55Speaker 1: about everything. Yeah, because we've spoke. We spoke before that
- 1:59Speaker 1: from the day at her and I remember that day
- 2:01Speaker 1: she told me because I was even I was struggling
- 2:03Speaker 1: with my weight at that time, and she literally said
- 2:05Speaker 1: and I literally said then, which is so interesting because
- 2:07Speaker 1: I clearly was always thinking about what to do or
- 2:12Speaker 1: how to be more comfortable. But I was binge eating
- 2:14Speaker 1: at that time and gaining a lot of weight from that, okay,
- 2:16Speaker 1: And she literally said, and if you lose people for
- 2:20Speaker 1: whatever reason, you'll gain new people that will you know,
- 2:24Speaker 1: love you for those reasons, So like, screw the people
- 2:26Speaker 1: that leave. And that was like the first day I
- 2:28Speaker 1: met her. But we always spoke about these things, Okay.
- 2:32Speaker 1: That I was like, you're the right person of this
- 2:33Speaker 1: conversation with because yes, I felt like we had so
- 2:36Speaker 1: many similarities in different ways with the body stuff and
- 2:40Speaker 1: just like being yeah, having it be your identity. And
- 2:42Speaker 1: she was always like I was the larger sister and
- 2:46Speaker 1: didn't get invited to certain things and all of that.
- 2:48Speaker 1: So yeah, I.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Love that you did her podcast. Yeah, when I saw that,
- 2:53Speaker 2: I was like, this is gonna be a good one.
- 2:56Speaker 2: How did you find confidence in your own skin clothes?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Like that was when I for a while, I just
- 3:03Speaker 1: didn't even like leave my apartment when I started gaining
- 3:05Speaker 1: weight because I was so uncomfortable because I just didn't
- 3:08Speaker 1: want to realize that I was gaining weight, Like in
- 3:10Speaker 1: twenty twenty and finding clothes and realizing that there was
- 3:14Speaker 1: like clothes out there. At that time, I was like
- 3:16Speaker 1: a size fourteen and I always struggled as a size twelve,
- 3:20Speaker 1: but trying to find clothes to size fourteen became so
- 3:22Speaker 1: much more difficult. So once I started finding cute things
- 3:25Speaker 1: that were available at a size fourteen, that led me
- 3:28Speaker 1: to like have the confidence to go out again and
- 3:29Speaker 1: be like, I'm not hiding myself. So it was really
- 3:32Speaker 1: finding clothes that were that makes it.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I love that I.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Think at any size, Like, think about when you were
- 3:37Speaker 1: wearing a cute outfit and love how you look, like
- 3:39Speaker 1: your mood and your vibe and confidence compared to when
- 3:42Speaker 1: you hate your outfit, Like it.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Just changes everything. No, it does change everything. When you
- 3:47Speaker 2: don't feel good in something that you're wearing, it is
- 3:51Speaker 2: such a like hit on yourself confidence.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah, and you could be the skinniest person in the world,
- 3:55Speaker 1: you could be any weight, but you're going to feel
- 3:58Speaker 1: that no matter what. Like, I just think that can
- 4:00Speaker 1: like change so much. That's why I think so believe
- 4:03Speaker 1: that it should be available to people no matter what size,
- 4:05Speaker 1: because it's like you need to have options, right, who
- 4:09Speaker 1: helps you the most through your darkest days. Probably my mom.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I love that answer. Same girl. Do you do botox?
- 4:18Speaker 1: I just started botox in my forehead. That's all I've
- 4:21Speaker 1: ever done.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Your skin is fucking gorgeous, Thank you. Do you want
- 4:24Speaker 2: you look like you have a filter on?
- 4:26Speaker 1: It was that skin I'm on the sphere and lactoine,
- 4:28Speaker 1: Like it was not like this last year, especially after
- 4:31Speaker 1: losing a gang the way, like my hormones were all
- 4:33Speaker 1: out of whack. But now I've been focusing on Yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 1: it's like it's like how everyone's like so many people
- 4:38Speaker 1: are on acutine, but this is like less aggressive, but
- 4:41Speaker 1: it's hormonal, so like you can't be on it if
- 4:45Speaker 1: you're trying to have a kid, which I'm not now,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and there's yeah, there's just certain things, like there's certain
- 4:53Speaker 1: side effects that people can't be on it. But for me,
- 4:55Speaker 1: I've been pretty good with it. I've been on it
- 4:57Speaker 1: for like probably a year and a half and it
- 4:58Speaker 1: like totally changed.
- 4:59Speaker 2: My skin is unreal, thank you.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So it's working.
- 5:03Speaker 2: What's one small daily ritual that makes you happy? It
- 5:07Speaker 2: could be anything, even a cup of coffee that's nice.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I'm like, what does yeah? I get honestly, like eating
- 5:14Speaker 1: in the morning, like I get excited to have like
- 5:17Speaker 1: you know, some a lot of people are not breakfast people. Yeah,
- 5:19Speaker 1: boggles my mind because it literally like me getting excited
- 5:23Speaker 1: to get like a coffee and breakfast. Whether it's like
- 5:26Speaker 1: like I don't wake up excited to work out, but
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'll like do it not every day, right, I'm like
- 5:30Speaker 1: literally tapping my foot excited to get what I'm getting
- 5:33Speaker 1: after I work out.
- 5:34Speaker 2: So do you go out for breakfast or do you cook?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Fears?
- 5:36Speaker 2: It's either I love that, what are you into breakfast?
- 5:39Speaker 1: But it's like I like today I went instead of
- 5:44Speaker 1: getting room service, which was crazy of me at the
- 5:46Speaker 1: at the hotel, I went to Starbucks and I get
- 5:47Speaker 1: a spinach better wrap with the little avocado spread, and
- 5:51Speaker 1: yeah sometimes if I want some addition and like some fiber,
- 5:54Speaker 1: I'll get their Their oatmeal is like amazing really with
- 5:58Speaker 1: just the brown sugar.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Oh hell yeah, No, I love breakfast food.
- 6:02Speaker 1: But I'll see I got excited talking about it.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Her eyes light up. What's uh, what's a dream collaboration
- 6:10Speaker 2: or project you love to do next?
- 6:12Speaker 1: I have so many like ideas and thoughts, But to
- 6:15Speaker 1: answer that question, I'm just gonna say I don't know
- 6:18Speaker 1: because I've been putting so much pressure on myself for
- 6:21Speaker 1: what's next, okay, and I'm in this like phase of
- 6:25Speaker 1: like really figuring out what i want, So I'll get
- 6:28Speaker 1: back to you on that one.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I love that we're in the same space, except your
- 6:31Speaker 2: five years younger than me, so I should probably fucking
- 6:33Speaker 2: figure it out.
- 6:34Speaker 1: No, you're young.
- 6:46Speaker 2: What's one thing your followers would be surprised to learn
- 6:48Speaker 2: about you?
- 6:50Speaker 1: They know it all at this point.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I'm like, literally, like, because you do tell them when
- 6:54Speaker 2: you get affected too.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't know. I told them, Like I uh,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'm like, literally, what don't they know about me? Right?
- 7:04Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I will see when
- 7:07Speaker 1: I get if I if and when I get into
- 7:09Speaker 1: another relationship how much I'll share in terms of that.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But like I just right now, I do feel like
- 7:14Speaker 1: I have boundaries up from everything that I've shared and
- 7:18Speaker 1: not shared. Like I don't share one hundred percent of everything.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I don't share when I'm having a bad day anymore
- 7:21Speaker 1: all the time, like I sometimes, but I definitely have
- 7:25Speaker 1: a little bit more of a guard up. But for
- 7:27Speaker 1: the most part, I do. I do share a lot,
- 7:29Speaker 1: even when I say, I'm not going to a g
- 7:31Speaker 1: that's me Like I've always been like an overshare or
- 7:33Speaker 1: want to help people with what my experience is. So
- 7:36Speaker 1: like I catch myself then making a video about the
- 7:39Speaker 1: anxiety medicine I'm on or whatever my reaction. So I
- 7:42Speaker 1: almost feel like right now they know most things, but.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I relate to that where I'm like, I'm gonna shut
- 7:47Speaker 2: the fuck up going forward, And then then it's a
- 7:50Speaker 2: video of how I'm gonna shut the fuck.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Out going forward. I'm like, this is I'm not.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not good at being a close book mean either.
- 7:57Speaker 1: If you could.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Swap closets with anyone for a week, who would it be?
- 8:02Speaker 2: That's mine would be Drek Kensley from Real House. That's
- 8:07Speaker 2: a good age.
- 8:08Speaker 1: But I need to like think of I need to sorry,
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm like not giving the answers to your questions. I'm like,
- 8:13Speaker 1: I really don't. I just started following, Like it's just
- 8:17Speaker 1: like if I see someone online wearing something cute, Like
- 8:19Speaker 1: I just started following like influencers and people I don't know,
- 8:23Speaker 1: like I have no idea who they are. Okay, Like
- 8:25Speaker 1: I'm like, ooh, your style is so cool, Like how
- 8:26Speaker 1: can I be cooler with my clothing.
- 8:28Speaker 2: When you find an influencer that like, you don't know
- 8:32Speaker 2: and it's you know, uh, they're posting their outfits. Do
- 8:36Speaker 2: you tend to be drawn towards women with your body type?
- 8:41Speaker 1: Yes, one hundred percent, Okay, I always. I think it's
- 8:45Speaker 1: important to it, But I I kind of do everyone
- 8:48Speaker 1: of I feel like right now, like I won't identify
- 8:51Speaker 1: with like I said, my own body now, like I
- 8:54Speaker 1: know and feel like it's going to fluctuate, just like
- 8:56Speaker 1: it did my whole life, even if I had a surgery,
- 8:58Speaker 1: so like, I just feel like I had I with
- 9:00Speaker 1: so many different body types. So for me now, I
- 9:03Speaker 1: would say kind of all over the board for people
- 9:06Speaker 1: I follow. But when I was a size fourteen or
- 9:09Speaker 1: sixteen or twenty or twelve, yes, I feel like to
- 9:13Speaker 1: help me, I was following a lot of people that size,
- 9:16Speaker 1: but I do I would say that if I were
- 9:18Speaker 1: to put on my a label on myself right now,
- 9:20Speaker 1: or if someone else were to put a label because
- 9:22Speaker 1: I don't like doing that mid size, I would say,
- 9:26Speaker 1: like I guess I would, it is helpful to find
- 9:29Speaker 1: a lot of people out there that have a mid
- 9:31Speaker 1: sized body. Okay, but it's not. Those aren't the only
- 9:34Speaker 1: people I follow. I love that I tell people when
- 9:37Speaker 1: they're struggling, Like when people ask me struggling to find clothes,
- 9:40Speaker 1: I'm like, I say, follow someone with your body type
- 9:43Speaker 1: that like you're into their style because it literally like
- 9:46Speaker 1: I would just I immediately will buy something they're wearing. Or
- 9:49Speaker 1: when totally I had a larger body, was like really
- 9:51Speaker 1: struggling with finding stuff, like like it is as a
- 9:55Speaker 1: size eight ten right now, it is easier to shop.
- 9:59Speaker 1: There's no like lie about that. So I have a
- 10:02Speaker 1: less hard time shopping right now, even though I have
- 10:04Speaker 1: some struggles in terms of like like anyone does trying
- 10:07Speaker 1: on clothes right, but yes, as like a twelve, fourteen,
- 10:10Speaker 1: sixteen eighteen, it's harder. So I think to help people,
- 10:13Speaker 1: like finding someone that's your body tape is.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Like so helpful, yeah, because then you just go on
- 10:17Speaker 2: and buy the whole outpha that they have on exactly
- 10:19Speaker 2: That's what I do. I have z I don't have
- 10:21Speaker 2: any inspiration.
- 10:22Speaker 1: So people with like your body type, yes, but then.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I always feel like I'm an I have imposter syndrome.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't belong in this. I don't look
- 10:31Speaker 2: like her because I don't have her skin. My hair
- 10:35Speaker 2: doesn't look like I get a little bit too overly, like, okay,
- 10:38Speaker 2: you're not a.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Copy and paste, but I just know I'm never for
- 10:40Speaker 1: the fucking person. Yeah, okay, yeah, stick to the script.
- 10:44Speaker 2: What's a trend you loved and when you wish would
- 10:46Speaker 2: go away forever?
- 10:49Speaker 1: One I wish would go away would be ballet flats
- 10:51Speaker 1: because I have flat feet and I can't wear them
- 10:53Speaker 1: or it hurts so like I think they're cute and
- 10:55Speaker 1: I just don't have the option. Okay I can't. I
- 10:57Speaker 1: have to wear like arches in my shoes and put
- 11:00Speaker 1: insuls in. It's very annoying. Yeah. So and then one
- 11:05Speaker 1: that I like, Yeah, one that you love. Oh, I'm
- 11:08Speaker 1: just so happy skinny jeans are back. I'm wearing them
- 11:11Speaker 1: right now. And even though some people like I mean that,
- 11:13Speaker 1: I'm like, hell yeah, Like I think I like will
- 11:16Speaker 1: always look better in skinny jeans than loose gens.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I love a skinny jean so much. And also I
- 11:22Speaker 2: don't like the ballet flats even though I have some.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Because you have picture you in ballet flat.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I can't either.
- 11:28Speaker 2: I get them because I see something on Instagram and
- 11:32Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, she looks so cute. I'm gonna recreate
- 11:33Speaker 2: that outfit, but you have to have such a specific
- 11:36Speaker 2: type of ankle to caveat.
- 11:39Speaker 1: That's what it is, like the ankle, because I like
- 11:41Speaker 1: the other day I also wore I like literally couldn't
- 11:43Speaker 1: take myself serious. Like I was actually laughing at myself.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I was wearing loafers and like a mini skirt and
- 11:48Speaker 1: like I looked like a preppy girl, and I was
- 11:50Speaker 1: like everyone was saying, how cute I looked on this
- 11:52Speaker 1: like dsw trip and I'm like, I don't feel like
- 11:55Speaker 1: myself like and they're like, no, I mean, you have
- 11:57Speaker 1: to take pictures in this, it's so cute. I'm like,
- 11:59Speaker 1: it's so n me. The loafers, the ballet, that's the
- 12:03Speaker 1: same exact that I try so hard to put myself in.
- 12:06Speaker 2: And anytime I'm in it, I'm like, I.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Know when it's fun because like, I know you would
- 12:10Speaker 1: look cute, but I'm also like, it's I know, it's
- 12:12Speaker 1: not your vibe.
- 12:12Speaker 2: So it's not my vibe. Give me like a floody
- 12:16Speaker 2: top and then like sized some I love, but I
- 12:19Speaker 2: love the skinny jeans I'm on board with that. Thank
- 12:22Speaker 2: you for doing my bonus episode.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Of course, I love you all, do anything for you.
- 12:25Speaker 1: You're the best.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Thank you guys for listening to another bonus episode. I'm
- 12:28Speaker 2: gonna catch you next week.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Bye.
