Grease Mat Mystery at Center Creek | Joplin News
Center Creek Wastewater Plant in Webb City is back online at 90% capacity after a major grease mat crisis caused by illegal dumping from Larry Wald Junior’s nearby business. Still, officials are meeting Thursday to decide if manual cleanup is still needed. This messy fix is a stark reminder: proper waste disposal isn’t optional — it’s essential.
