- 0:00Aaron's I do not give a funk about anything right now. I'm just like
- 0:08in a good way or a bad way, or indifferent way. Indifferent.
- 0:13Really, that's awesome. One, that's good. There. Behold the field
- 0:18in which I grow my focks and see that it is barren. Behold the
- 0:25field, nothing in it, not one single fuck no one. You will
- 0:36not see Aaron out there plowing his field because there are no gather That's awesome,
- 0:48Barren, desolate, funckless. I am entirely fun that's awesome. That's
- 0:59a good feeling. I think it is. I like the neutralities, like
- 1:02there's no inner turmoil, this alter ego fuckless erin yes, yes, not
- 1:14not quite a villain or an anti hero, not a hero there, he's
- 1:19just there. He just dresses, not just to say you couldn't leave even
- 1:25bother fuckless rain the banks being robbed. Interesting, No, it's not funk
- 1:32off. Who did I ask you to talk to me? No? Who
- 1:42are you? Aren't you a superhero? I'm having breakfast walking by. Don't
- 1:49talk to me and my son ever again? Ah, that's good man,
- 2:00not a single fu to give, not one. That's good. Well,
- 2:04going off of that, you got any to give apparently a bit. What
- 2:10do you mean? What you know? Suddenly? Like I'm like, oh,
- 2:15I got something to say, But no, I don't have any of
- 2:17this. But he can't find them. Yeah, I lost by fox.
- 2:24I'll have them. They're not here right now. So at the present time
- 2:29he has no fucks either, but he has none to give. He could
- 2:32give. It's as possible. He's gotta find it first. What about you,
- 2:42Steve or fuck list? No, I can't say I'm fuckless. Well,
- 2:46I don't know. Maybe I probably could. Oh no, I'm pretty
- 2:49sure I can find some fox for you guys. I mean, I ain't
- 2:52gonna like push him on y'all, but I'll store him here and gizz y'all
- 2:54want to fuck to give? So you actually have extra fucks? Oh yeah,
- 3:00they're in there. I just don't I keep him in the closet and
- 3:02locked away whatever I want to give a fuck, I just opened the doors
- 3:07let him out. Stevie has surplus fucks, extra fus. Everybody's been giving
- 3:14me their fuck and over abundance of fun. Yes, so many impressive Yes
- 3:23A welcome to episode two twenty oh my god, twenty one one? Whatever?
- 3:30Fuck that there? Yes, episode twenty one. Hi there, Hi,
- 3:40they're hold there, Hi there. Yeah, you can't tell by some
- 3:45of us are high here. Lack of fucks currently being given, so many
- 3:51fuckless this is gonna be it's gonna be a chill It's gonna be a chill
- 3:53episode. So not a lot going on right now. No, and it's
- 3:59kind of nice, and you know what, sometimes you need to not a
- 4:02lot going on. I don't know if that made sense, but I mean
- 4:11give I appreciate the st he has suddenly realized he has fucks to give.
- 4:21He just didn't want to that time. He's like, no, no fus
- 4:26for you, did not like to see the funk Nazi Hords. No Fox
- 4:33for you. There, you're hiding Fox. Jesus Christ night fu this guy
- 4:47super dark. Yeah, we're just trying to find some fucks. We're gonna
- 4:55dial that one bad Holy ship. So that's been interesting. Is canceled we
- 5:06haven't try for a while. Like I mean, like guess is an achievement.
- 5:12I would say that's an achievement we achieved, so we should get one
- 5:15of those little things we have. We avoided being canceled for twenty episodes.
- 5:19We also wanted being popular enough to be caning. That's true too. I
- 5:23mean, how many people get canceled ahead of the podcast? Kind of fucked
- 5:27up? Does it happen? I have to assume it happens to a certain
- 5:31extent. Yea, it happens to you. Who's got to happen to podcast?
- 5:38Because I just can't think of any off the top of my head,
- 5:40if only because Joe Rogan has somehow managed to avoid being time. He's like
- 5:46the Howard of Howard Sternough podcast. That's why. Okay, yeah, he's
- 5:53the shut ship. That's why he's the name. I mean, aside from
- 5:57keV Smith, like, Rogan was the next really big one up there,
- 6:00and he was the shock guy for podcasting. I didn't know, well,
- 6:04the controversy shock, you know, like the yeah things out and crap.
- 6:09He doesn't. He doesn't really court controversy so much as he just says,
- 6:13has everyone on, no matter what they have to say. Yeah, it's
- 6:15true. Yeah, you know what, that's probably the best way to say
- 6:18that, it really is. It makes sense. Having said that, some
- 6:21of the things that he has personally endorsed, I do not get behind it.
- 6:25All right, Yeah, I'm sure there's some things I do agree with,
- 6:28but I don't really listen tom So I don't know. Nobody agrees with
- 6:30literally everything someone else believes. So that's why we're all individuals and ship that
- 6:36is, I don't believe that's true. Erin, thank you, all right,
- 6:44So now that's been proven. Yes, yes, no, it hasn't.
- 6:50Welcome I'm contrary. Now welcome to episode twenty one. Would Yes,
- 6:59it's going to be a show. I don't have a lot to talk about,
- 7:03Okay, I legitimately don't. This week was my birthday and it was
- 7:09fucking miserable. I don't know why I keep hoping for it to be more,
- 7:14because honestly, it's it's never more. It's always fucking a disappointment and
- 7:19just another day. And I'm just like, fuck this, fuck everything.
- 7:24I don't care that I'm a year older, fuck it all. You know.
- 7:27I do appreciate the well wishes that you get on social media from people
- 7:30you haven't talked to in thirty years. I'm like, because it's it's well
- 7:34meaning, so you can't really be mad at it. But also you're like,
- 7:40any reason you couldn't talk to me any of the other face tell you
- 7:46that's a lie. That is a lie exactly. Like if I were to
- 7:49reach out and say, hey, man, how you doing, they'd be
- 7:50like, hey you uncomfortable, Like I gotta go bye, you know,
- 8:01you know what. To be fair, it works both ways. Like I'm
- 8:05not the one. I don't reach out to them either, busy doing my
- 8:09own thing, got my own life going on, exactly. We all do
- 8:13like it. It just happens and ship. Yeah, it just birthdays after
- 8:16like thirty just kind of hit the shitter much either unless they're unless I mean,
- 8:24I mean yes, but because you're not going out, Yes, but
- 8:28I still want to see people, you know, I still see my friends
- 8:31and stuff for it, So I wouldn't mind that kind of party. But
- 8:37again, we're all old, so the effort of putting together something like that
- 8:41is difficult, daunting. Yeah, yeah, that's a good word. That's
- 8:46why you're a published author. Yeah. Now a bygw pod dot com.
- 8:52That's my birthday present. Make sure you buy thing. Oh that was just
- 8:58saying that. I was like, sweet, I got off, like you
- 9:03still have your usual birthday obligations to fulfill. I mean that's after the show
- 9:07that's on the special tier twenty dollars who I hope you've got the twenty gallon
- 9:11drum of loop ready to Yeah, I got, I went, I went
- 9:13flavored vesseline. It's edible, all right, use it for your lips too,
- 9:18like when you get checked afterwards, because of how long it takes to
- 9:24give error. And it takes a long time. It's honest to god,
- 9:28work like you need like no joke. You have to prepare ahead of time,
- 9:31like if you want to as the one giving, not even as erin
- 9:35like like this is not even like he has not stopped shaking his head.
- 9:39It's okay, keep it going. So like I would recommend two pillows because
- 9:43you want at least a good firm pillow for your knees and your shins because
- 9:48especially around hard hardwood. But if you're a carb, you're gonna rug burn
- 9:50because every now and then you gotta move and wiggle, you know, because
- 9:52if not your joints and stuff. I'm just gonna let this go. I
- 9:54don't give a see, you don't give a fuck. And then you need
- 9:56another one of your hands too, just in case, because he feels kind
- 10:00awkward when you put your hands on his thighs as you're trying to do it.
- 10:03So you want something else there to stop it from being awkward, because
- 10:07the last thing that you want is to be giving some dude a blow job,
- 10:11specifically a friend of yours, and him to feel awkward, like you
- 10:13want your friends to feel comfortable when you're blowing them. You know, that's
- 10:18just one of the tides and battle that will not be on TikTok you Stevie
- 10:30for that educational tied talk. That's here for man to educate, not just
- 10:37to make laughs, to educate. Good lord. So what else? My
- 10:43uh, my second novel's first draft is complete? No I congratulations. Yes,
- 10:52it's already been sent out to my first round of beta readers, and
- 10:58I am curious here what they are? All I have to say cool.
- 11:01However, one of them got back to me fairly quickly with feedback that seems
- 11:07to strongly indicate that they really like it. Oh nice, super strongly,
- 11:16super strongly, like, using phrases like OMG, holy fuck, this is
- 11:22fucking fantastic. So uh yeah, that's that's heartwarming and encouraging, to be
- 11:31sure. What's less encouraging is that I haven't heard anything from my other beta
- 11:35readers really, so I'm a little like I mean chapters is this one it's
- 11:43it's thirty eight, but it's it's about ten thousand more words than thing.
- 11:48The chapters tend to be, on average a bit longer. There's also no
- 11:52prologue, epilogue or interlogues. It's all. They're all chapters. Just go
- 11:56into chapter one. Shit. So it's it's it's broken off. The chapters
- 12:01are a bit more meaty. They have a bit more meat on the bone,
- 12:05so to speak. Okay, so you decided to go with the sequel
- 12:09instead of doing the parody thong. First, No, I did not write
- 12:15that's gonna be after this saga's done. That's that's gonna be when I give
- 12:18up and sell out, like which any day now. Honestly, as I
- 12:22said, fuck list, don't give a fuck, will sell out today's very
- 12:28next instant. Hey, if you want the movie rights to than they're cheap.
- 12:31I'm just saying I don't require much. Uh you know, should be
- 12:37a badass movie. Though. Yeah, I genuinely was like, as I
- 12:41was writing it, I'm like, you could make a solid movie of this
- 12:45for very low budget. Yeah, you don't need a couple of rooms.
- 12:48You literally need a couple of rooms and that's it. Yeah, I mean
- 12:54maybe some three D effects stuff towards the end. Yeah, okay, but
- 12:58but not a lot. It can be done, like it could be done.
- 13:03Yeah. Yeah. So anyway, drop out samurais if you're listening,
- 13:11uh, you have first DIBs. There you go. What's it called the
- 13:16premaocta rights? Samurai should dropout has premaocta rights, uh for for the movie
- 13:24of any of my novel an any of my novels pre minocta rights. I
- 13:31like it. I like, yeah, please like clip that and give it.
- 13:43If you don't put it on TikTok, at least send it to me
- 13:46so I can send it to him. Yeah, that'll be fun. Samurai
- 13:54premadocta rights. So yeah, so what was I talking about aside from finishing
- 14:07it? Oh? Yeah, And the chapters are longer for a reason,
- 14:11because this is I switched genres entirely. Like the last book was a mystery
- 14:16thriller. This is a fantasy adventure like it's it's a complete it's a complete
- 14:22switchover. And so a fantasy novel has to have more flavor, like you
- 14:28can't you can't get by on like minimalist descriptions of minimalist rooms, you know,
- 14:33like I did with Fane, which was which was honestly because like you
- 14:39know, flowery and expanded descriptions are not my forte. I would much rather
- 14:43get into people talking like right, and it works better in that atmosphere.
- 14:46How high is this fantasy? It's yes, marginally high. Guess about medium
- 14:54high, I would guess, because it's it's not low fantasy, but it's
- 14:58not high fantasy either. It's somewhere in the middle. Uh. And you'll
- 15:03see this, You'll see the sci fi of blending real quick. Like it's
- 15:07it's hard to miss. But yeah, so that is that is that is
- 15:13what's going on with that. Still waiting to hear back for my beata readers.
- 15:18I'm probably gonna reach out to some more beta readers just to just to
- 15:20get because I'm starting to feel a little bit like I should I should get
- 15:26more opinions, more more peeps. But I mean, the thing is like
- 15:33for for a beta reader as opposed to like an advanced review copy. Like
- 15:37a beta reader, you want someone who will give you like well thought out,
- 15:43constructive criticism, and it's not that an advanced reader copy person like our
- 15:50own Kristin Farley couldn't do that. She probably could. However, she's very
- 15:56good at hype. Like I've watched her Instagram and her she is big on
- 16:03hyping up books that she likes like that. She is exhaume very good at
- 16:07that. So as tempted as I am to ask her to beta read for
- 16:14me, I'm kind of keeping her in that advanced reader copy pocket because I
- 16:18don't want her to get so excited during the beta read and then it fades,
- 16:22and then when I need time for like reviews, will she be as
- 16:26strong or as hyped about it. I don't know, you know, I'm
- 16:29like, and I would rather give her a polished product than like the current
- 16:36unpolished still needs work, draft in progress. That's fair. And you want
- 16:41to keep your beta like these are the people who are giving you the suggestions
- 16:45to pretty much you make the choices to edit. Yeah, so you don't
- 16:48want to keep giving that option out to people because you're gonna get too many
- 16:52ideas. I mean, it's good to have a lot of ideas, but
- 16:55then when you start getting yeah, like that's too many. But yeah,
- 17:00that's awesome. Actually, yeah, I don't mind. But there are people
- 17:03like Aaron Conners. Yes, is the author of the Text Murphy series of
- 17:10novels and video games, and he beta read for me, but only the
- 17:15second draft of thing like as it was about to come out. Anyway,
- 17:22then he did the same for me his latest book which I read, which
- 17:25was Text Murphy in the romanoph Enigma, which is really really good and if
- 17:32you enjoyed detective fiction like I highly recommend it. It was a blast.
- 17:36It was so good. His ability to tie everything in back at the end
- 17:41of the novel was excellent, like unbelievably good. But I'm thinking about asking
- 17:48him now as opposed to waiting until the second draft, because he is he
- 17:53is a fellow author, and he will most likely give me the kind of
- 17:57feedback that I would most be interested in. So well, it's not just
- 18:02honest, it's like thoughtful, Like, you know, this character is particularly
- 18:07weak because of this, and you could improve it by doing this. Blah
- 18:11blah blah blah blah. You know what I mean. There, Yeah,
- 18:15he's been there. He knows what he would want, and he knows what
- 18:18another author would want. So anyway, I don't know why I'm explaining my
- 18:23Actually I know exactly why, because two people who are likely to listen to
- 18:27this are both a beta reader and my advance copy reader, so you know,
- 18:34just in case they're curious, because there was a little back and forth
- 18:37about this earlier in the week. But I'm gonna get off that topic now
- 18:41because I'm veering dangerously close to spoiler territory on novel number two. I haven't
- 18:48even finished novel number one all. He just wants the parody right away.
- 18:55He's like, just give me waiting for thong. Yes, there's still there,
- 19:04you go. There's only one more thing I really got up to this
- 19:08week. Yeah, in my spare time when I could. And now that
- 19:14everything's been sent off to Nick for the audiobook, hooray, that's it.
- 19:18It's done. I still have some things to do that I have to send
- 19:22off to him, but they're not lines like, they're not audio editing there,
- 19:26which was a nightmare. It's just some text stuff. I'm sure he
- 19:33uses the right musical outro at the end of every chapter, and I have
- 19:36to figure out which one would be best for the end of every single for
- 19:41the mood. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's my plan for
- 19:44this weekend. So aside from that, I am still working on my Windows
- 19:49ninety five ninety eight preservation project or archive project, I don't know what you
- 19:56would call it. I told my dad about that. He's like, he's
- 20:00so insane, Like, yes, yes he is, Yes I am,
- 20:03because this is legitimately like one of the hardest things I've ever done in terms
- 20:08of like just raw computing, because I mean, there are so many games
- 20:14that outright won't work in emulation, but also won't work in Windows ten,
- 20:19so I have to find another way now. So far, I've been pretty
- 20:25lucky in that usually someone else has already done the hard work. Like a
- 20:30good example would be a game I just added, which is WWE Raw from
- 20:36two thousand and two, a wrestling game that came out for Windows ninety eight.
- 20:41He came out towards the end of Windows ninety eight lifespan, like two
- 20:45thousand and two, two thousand and three, two thousand and four is about
- 20:48the extent of it. So the problem is is that currently emulation can only
- 20:56cover up to a certain level of Windows ninety five ninety eight emulation. Like
- 21:00my emulation box, the one that I use for pretty much everything, is
- 21:06a Pendium two to three hundred three hundred megahertz I should say, with a
- 21:12Voodoo three three thousand, which is great, But there are games that came
- 21:18out for Windows ninety eight that require a five hundred megahertz process or require a
- 21:23graphics card that can handle Directex eight point one or nine point zero, which
- 21:30the Voodoo three can't. It only goes up to seven point oh oh shit.
- 21:33So yeah, so there there have been some there. There's like a
- 21:37little gap of space where like two thousand and two to two thousand and four
- 21:41the game comes out in that region. I'm a look, I'm always gonna
- 21:45be a little scared that I'm gonna have to find some crazy workaround. Now.
- 21:48Thankfully, there are people out there who have made a ton of these
- 21:53workarounds, like they're they're basically called repacks, and they basically take the game
- 21:59installed, figure out how to get it working on modern Windows, sometimes using
- 22:03tools like DG voodoo or dx wind, which basically are graphics rappers to allow
- 22:15like higher levels of direct X to be used on an older game, and
- 22:21does it emulate like a newer version of that process or something. I don't
- 22:26I don't know how to explain accurately what DG voodoo and dx win to actually
- 22:32do. Like, all I know is they make these games work. That's
- 22:37as far as I've gotten. It's like, they make these games work,
- 22:41and they really do. It's impressive how many, how many of these repacks
- 22:45there are, and some of them I don't even know what the dude did
- 22:48to get them working, but they're working. So I found one for w
- 22:52W RAW, thankfully, because I was never going to be able to emulate
- 22:56that with any kind of speed. Got that one working, uh, tested
- 23:03it, and added it to the to the pile of games that I have,
- 23:07which is currently just over four hundred. Yeah. Crazy, It's nuts,
- 23:14and I'm not done, like I'm I'm on the w's so I gotta
- 23:17be. I gotta be close. And that's just the games I own.
- 23:21Like if I were if I were to expand this in the games that I
- 23:23don't own, right but but that exists and and should belong to this project,
- 23:30I'd be in this for quite a long time. Yeah, he'd still
- 23:33I'd also probably have to get a much larger external hard drive. Right now,
- 23:38all of it runs off of four terabyte external hard drive that has seven
- 23:42thousand Toss games like over a thousand Windows three point x games. Like it's
- 23:49a massive collection, but it's all old computers. It's so cool. It's
- 23:56smart, it really is, like, and I'm just since the shit happens.
- 24:00Yeah, I downloaded those from someone else who put the shitloads of work
- 24:04into that that they put. The guy's name is XO. He's absolute genius,
- 24:11and he's very clearly got a passion for archiving and preserving these old games
- 24:15so they can be made playable again. He just hasn't done Windows ninety five
- 24:21ninety eight for the same reasons that I'm finding it very hard to do.
- 24:26Is that emulation isn't quite there yet. Yeah, and which sucks because it's
- 24:30like Man ninety eight s forever, oh you know. And it's like you
- 24:33would think, you would think, because we can currently emulate like a PlayStation
- 24:37three or even an Xbox three sixty to some degree, that we would be
- 24:44able to emulate a Windows PC from two thousand and two. Nope. But
- 24:51the sheer amount of processing power that is required to emulate just a Pentium to
- 25:00four fifty is insane. Is Like, like the guy, the guy who
- 25:07put together these these easy to assemble, you know, PC emulation boxes.
- 25:12His name is Phil from Phil's computer Lab. He's got a YouTube channel and
- 25:17I love watching his stuff. He had an I nine fucking like like modern
- 25:25generation processor and it was struggling to run a Pennium two four fifty emulated box.
- 25:33Like what the freakman? What can I say? Like Windows emulation is
- 25:41still in its infancy, I guess it is, and we still don't have
- 25:47like a lot of things that we would need to advance. Like in video
- 25:52cards, there's no public repository of knowledge of how the cards work. Nope,
- 25:57none. We're not gonna give that away either, even even their old
- 26:00cards. They don't. They haven't done that. Like the only reason Voodoo
- 26:06Voodoo cards are emulated is because they made everything public when the when the company
- 26:10dissolved, Like somebody put all that info out there and was like, here
- 26:15you go, you know, learn from it. Maybe it'll make things better
- 26:18in the future. I don't know, but I'm glad that they did.
- 26:21But I mean, I don't see a video doing the same. No socially
- 26:25when they're like the biggest video card company G company, and about that time
- 26:30they became one of only two companies that made video cards, and to my
- 26:37knowledge, both companies are still in business. And both keep their their graphics
- 26:41cards very very private, so it might be a while until we can see
- 26:45either either processor improvements or graphics card improvements in PC emulation. But as it
- 26:55is, it's it's been a rewarding project just putting all that shit together and
- 26:59then going in every now and then to the to the like big box menu
- 27:03and just scroll through this giant list of old games that I used to play
- 27:07and stopping at everyone and seeing like a video showing the gameplay of it before
- 27:14before I press enter and jump right into the game, or in some cases
- 27:18wait for the Windows ninety five boot screen to finish and then you know,
- 27:22and then the game waunches right after once Windows is loaded, so you know.
- 27:26But yeah, I'm having fun with that. Man. That's awesome.
- 27:30That is my that is my current source of joy at the moment. But
- 27:36I feel like I've been talking forever, so maybe we should take a break.
- 27:37Sounds good, all right? When we come back, I'm gonna let
- 27:41somebody else talk and look forward to that. Right after this were up this
- 27:55program to bring you a new splash Michael Jackson's ghost scene at a Yankees game,
- 28:00Cinnamon Toast Crunch Now with a shrimp in every bite. Lil Uzi Verd's
- 28:06head Diamond has been sold on the dark web. Stories like this and more

- 28:45What's up? Guys? Got some comments and some voicemail? Yes, sir,
- 28:51people keep talking about people talking to us people. It's not just fighting
- 28:56voices anymore. It's not just the voices in our heads. Man. Well,
- 28:59I did say someone else was going to talk, But I bet you
- 29:02didn't know what's going to be, you listener? Yeah, what, so
- 29:10let's let's hit it. What's our first comment? Slash slash voicemail slash snail
- 29:17mail, hell slash smoke signals slash gabby cool too comments slash TikTok comment slash
- 29:26Okay, that's a lot. We can get to that later. We're not
- 29:30that pocket. We're not yeah, like maybe five things, but patriot.
- 29:34We got comments on show two nineteen, The Cost of a Broken speed Run
- 29:41from Colin megs, oh, actually both are from Colin, and he said
- 29:45Jeff Irwin with a bunch of laughing faces, Steve slacker. Slacker lists successful
- 29:51brothers so lazy he's hanging around the Buffalo suburbs film and Augie to try and
- 29:56classify his position to be of y t w's here. Oh An, apologies,
- 30:02I didn't realize you meant male chickens when you said you were looking for
- 30:06a nice big cock. Disregard those links I sent you. Oh right right.
- 30:11I was confused. I thought you were trying to send them to Steve
- 30:15and send them to me instead. I didn't want to say anything because you
- 30:22know you were sure. I get it. Colin also wrote ps rebuttal to
- 30:30Steve having super villain energy. Just remember the ship that comes out of his
- 30:36head when dark Stevie is at the wheel. I was like, Dark Stevie,
- 30:40don't talk about it. Don't talk about Stevie. Oh ship, I
- 30:42don't even remember. That's how much. Don't talk about He's a real doubter.
- 30:48Just move on. Sorry. Next comment this comes from the same episode
- 30:52the same episode The Cost of a Broken speed Run, but the video version
- 30:57on Patreon from Kristin Farley. Another great episode. As always, I really
- 31:03like the speed Run game, especially with some Buffy centric topics. Hell's yes,
- 31:07hell yeah, we are. Well, a couple of us are really
- 31:11big fans of Buffy. I was gonna say, if you like Buffy,
- 31:14I have a feeling you're really gonna like my second novel. Oh really.
- 31:18Oh yeah. It's a it's a fantasy adventure and the main character is a
- 31:22girl who grows up to kick ass. No shit. Yeah, oh fucking
- 31:26sweet dude, Hell yeah, hell yes, I'm one hundred percent I love
- 31:29that shit all right. Our next comment comes from the video of Aggie's tail,
- 31:34the TikTok version. Just a bunch of laughing laughing, it's just laughing
- 31:41emojis. Well thanks for that. That was awesome. Yeah, there were
- 31:47fun little things. But other than that, our TikTok's actually been doing pretty
- 31:52good the last few days. We've been getting Wow, we've been doing some
- 31:56good numbers lately, so it's it's been nice. So I'm gonna keep clipping
- 32:01the show a little small things and shadow bands for something dumb I put up
- 32:07there. We should be good. Yeah hopefully, Yeah, because I had
- 32:10definitely hasn't happened yet, not yet? Is that everything? No, we
- 32:15have a voicemail as well, Yes we do have. We got audios.
- 32:22Hello, Glory, crappy game. I can't believe Ariage literally a brotherfucker folk
- 32:32Jill brother rats of a competition. Oh that's just not nice anyway, I
- 32:42love you. I was gonna say, no, that is not what happened,
- 32:51but it was what happened. But yes, I did kind of accidentally
- 32:55fuck him over, but only because he was ship at the game compared to
- 33:00me. So I mean, I feel like that's his own fault. It
- 33:07wasn't malicious. It wasn't malicious. No, absolutely not. I game a
- 33:10ride and I was like, oh, as long as I'm here him as
- 33:14we'll play. Exactly. I didn't know I was going to beat him.
- 33:16I was sure he was going to beat me. I forgot all about that.
- 33:21Colin again, Yeah, I was like, what the fuck is he
- 33:23talking about? Oh yeah, dirty dirty pool sir? Well thank you,
- 33:30Colin, appreciate it. Oh yes, sir, thank you for calling and
- 33:34Colin and I believe that was all the voicemails for this week. And send
- 33:37your big cock preasures my way please. Oh yeah, all right, I'm
- 33:44looking for male chickens. Sorry, all the male chickens, all the sizes,
- 33:49all the sha chickens, doesn't matter any male chicken. You said it
- 33:53booke daddy yet whatever daddy got her own website. You're at whatever, dude
- 34:07ship. We should make that a dope. We should get a little server
- 34:10and host whatever dot com. That'd be fucking awesome. I'm pretty sure has
- 34:15that domain? What god? What hell? Yes? Ah, well,
- 34:25yeah, that's all the that's all the stuff from the people's, the people's
- 34:30stuff from the people's. Here's the church. Well, who wants to go
- 34:37next? I already went. I explored everything that I've been up to the
- 34:39past couple of weeks. I could talk stuffs, all right, Stevie,
- 34:43talk stuffs. Yeah. So lately, well, we're getting close to the
- 34:46end of school, so very excited. I'm gonna have more time to be
- 34:51in here and getting more stuff done. What's gonna be awesome, and getting
- 34:54things done around the house, which I'm stupid happy for. But like we're
- 35:00done cooking hot food right now, like all our stuff is off, Like
- 35:04I have two days of school left, and all it is is like,
- 35:07all right, I'm bagging up your breakfast, bagging up your lunch, putting
- 35:10in the cooler, and bouncing like I just gotta clean a few things and
- 35:15I'm done. So I'm like stupid happy about that, like to be able
- 35:19to just be like, all right, no more school, no more getting.
- 35:22I mean, I'll probably still get up early and shit, because you're
- 35:23gonna get up early, and I want to try to make breakfast every day
- 35:27and shit. But yeah, like it's gonna be so nice to be fucking
- 35:30done with that. And I have like that responsibility for a couple of months.
- 35:36Other than that, man, uh, today I got into k pop
- 35:40rap. What Yeah. So it started with oh god it method Man did
- 35:50a new song with Eminem and Snoop Dogg. Let's check this shit out.
- 35:52Started watching that, and then we started talking about other rap. I think
- 35:57I just like the kind of with that real quick. Yes, he got
- 36:05into watching k pop by first watching It's true, that's how it happened.
- 36:15Regardless, I was like, oh shit, k pop rap. So I
- 36:19found a YouTube video had like the best K pop rappers. So we watched
- 36:23that and it was like ten minutes long and it went to all these groups
- 36:29and individuals and dude, it was fucking impressive. Like my plan tonight,
- 36:32no joke is, when I'm sitting at my computer gaming, the other screen's
- 36:36gonna be K pop rap. That's always gonna be. Some of them speak
- 36:39English, some of them don't. Every now and then you'll hear an English
- 36:43word anyway because of our slang and shit. But dude, it was fucking
- 36:46like made me happy like everywhere, Like I was like, good, what
- 36:52do you mean everywhere? Well, not just like in the penal area like
- 36:55all of them, okay, is it's not just the yeah, like dude,
- 37:04like not just a no note. But dude, it was like really
- 37:12cool, like I don't know why, Like it's made me so happy.
- 37:19So yeah, I don't know why either, but I'm very grateful that it's
- 37:22made you this. Hell yeah, so everybody should go check out some K
- 37:24pop rap. It's pretty cool all right. Now down to like the business
- 37:30business portion of this ship, the new Doom Doom Medieval. Have you seen
- 37:36the fucking trailer? No, I haven't, Oh me fair, I still
- 37:40haven't finished Doom twenty sixteen or Doom Eternal. Oh my gosh, okay,
- 37:45I mean that's fair. I mean I'm I'm a big Doom person, but
- 37:49holy crap, dude, like Doom, it's the prequel. To be fair,
- 37:52I still haven't beaten Doom three. Like to catch up, I would
- 37:59have to go backaways all of them. I've beaten Doom took the originals,
- 38:05Yes, yeah, yeah, rock out O g baby fuck gu Yes,
- 38:08that's what I'm saying. I think the only do my beat was the one
- 38:13that we heavily modded and then land the modern warfare one. That ship was
- 38:19fucking fun. I think it was Doom too modded. Yeah, with that
- 38:22was that was the only one we technically beat, but that was because we
- 38:25played all night because it was so much it was. We should find that
- 38:30fucking wide. That would be fucking cool. Hell yeah, I'm pretty sure
- 38:32I can put it back together somewhere right, that would be. But yeah,
- 38:38New Doom is medieval. It's the prequel to the newer like the twenty
- 38:42sixteen and on the newer, faster paced ones. So it's the prequel telling
- 38:45the story of the actual slayer and stuff. Like, dude, it looks
- 38:51like I'm getting it. There's no doubt in my mind. I'm getting this.
- 38:52I get them all. I mean not for nothing. This kind of
- 38:55sounds like quake, but Doom started it all. I mean, yeah,
- 39:00if you put the words Doom and medieval together, Oh I see what you're
- 39:05saying, like, yeah, yeah, okay, I guess that's kind of
- 39:07yeah. I thought that was to be fairy quick as Yeah, you're right,
- 39:10you do have guns in that, but yeah, space suit, but
- 39:13the setting is very Yeah. Yeah, fucking got me all hyped up like
- 39:17stupid madics. I mean, I'll happily check it out. Yeah yeah,
- 39:22I'll be getting it. Probably gonna wind up getting it myself. I own
- 39:24both Doom twenty sixteen and Eternal. Yes, I just haven't beaten them.
- 39:29Oh my gosh, they're fun. I wish they were more co op than
- 39:30I think. They're just deathmatch you can do single like missions and stuff.
- 39:35Yeah, co op would be a shipload of fun. That would be ideal,
- 39:38Like they should just bring it back, bring four player co op in
- 39:43the new Doom. I would cream myself. I got nothing else, I
- 39:47got nothing. I mean, I would just like, all right, well
- 39:52we got it. You'd like it, Jesus, look me up to a
- 39:53milking machine man. We'll make babies forever, like you want to talk about
- 40:00infinite spawns, like it's not a limited resource for sake. But I also
- 40:07have to bring up because of Doom, what Butter got me for Father's Day.
- 40:16Yes, the Doom mccorn up to that camera there listening. It is
- 40:25Doom guy in white and pink armor just as almost like a unicorn. And
- 40:32it's one of the McFarlane as an actual horn sticking up between his horse like
- 40:37ears. So it's the McFarlane like special to like they are twenty two movable
- 40:43parts, like it's insane, like these are awesome. He has a shotgun
- 40:49and a rainbow drill you wings, wings and a tail. Yes, it's
- 40:57gonna be so much fun. Excited. There was another Doom thing and I
- 41:05can't remember what it was, but they moded Doom and I told you about
- 41:07it, and I can't remember because I'm really stoned right now. But there's
- 41:10been a new thing. They moded Doom to turn it into a roguelike.
- 41:15Yes, there's a roguelike version of du Yeah, I guess there's this new
- 41:20one that. Yeah, I don't know, but this thing is pretty damn
- 41:23epic looking, man Like, I mean more than I thought it was.
- 41:28The newer Dooms turned into Age. No, it's Doom too. Well,
- 41:31it's Final Doom, so it's Final Doom roguelike. Like there's five hundred items.
- 41:37Everything's randomized in there and stuff. The bosses do all different things now
- 41:40too, which is really cool. Like they showed one of the Barons of
- 41:44Hell and your shooting stuff. It was like three of his fireballs in groups
- 41:49of three at a time, like it like everything did something different, some
- 41:52things could fly now and stuff like it was nuts. So I wanted to
- 41:57check that out. I was telling, Oh yeah, I'm like, yeah,
- 41:58this is gonna happen. It's on point. Oh boy. Yeah,
- 42:01but yeah, hardcoing to the Doom stuff lately. I gotta be really happy.
- 42:06I know. The other thing I've been doing is call of duty.
- 42:08Is because call of duty. But they announced the new Black Ops six coming
- 42:13out in November. Kind of excited, but not as much as I used
- 42:16to be. I think Doom's gonna take control of pretty much everything from November
- 42:22forward. I mean, I'll get the new call of duty, but I'm
- 42:24just in it. I mean either yeah, maybe it's just me, but
- 42:27it just feels like the call of duties have been harder and harder to harder
- 42:30and harder to play with friends. Yeah, Like it just seems like it's
- 42:34just been getting harder and harder. And like you look at like ranked play
- 42:38and you're just like you can clearly tell, like the people at the top
- 42:42are cheating, yeah, or are bots themselves and killing loads of ai bots
- 42:47characters. So you're just like, man, fuck is it's I mean,
- 42:51I have fun every now and then, like I'll still do my battle right
- 42:53out, but it's just me, so it's not like a team, like
- 42:57you know, it sucks. I miss I missed the old day. That
- 42:59night we spent playing Doom to co op with fucking Call of Duty weaponry was
- 43:05among the most fun we've ever had together. Do you think it'd be possible
- 43:07to find that? Oh? Yeah, do you think it'd be possible for
- 43:10us to all play that together? Yeah? Absolutely, I say we do
- 43:15that. I mean, I'll tell you right now. It was shortsighted of
- 43:19me not to put it on the the game box that I oh ship made
- 43:23and installed in here, because it could easily run on that thing. Oh
- 43:27that'd be cool. Yeah, I wait to check this ship out, guys.
- 43:30Way to do this, I'll you know, what. I'll put it
- 43:34together and I'll test it to make sure it works and that you can do
- 43:37like a multiplayer co op. And we'll just fucking go to town and I'll
- 43:42see if I can get one for Doom one and Doom too. Oh my
- 43:44god, We'll just go through the whole thing from the beginning. Oh yeah,
- 43:50yeah, yep, that's gonna happen. Yeah, I've got nothing else
- 43:57to say. Ogie, do you want to I don't know. Do you
- 43:59have something to talking about? Do you want to go a break? You
- 44:00have to quick little break, take a little break. When we come back,

- 45:01part three. Uh and we have, as always saved the best for last.
- 45:06Y yay, your brother man o great because I love talking about me
- 45:13one the one hitter. It's true you said one hander, the one hander.
- 45:22He's not wrong speaking of people. I hope never hear this. So
- 45:35yeah, I've been working a lot this summer as I do. It's just
- 45:39nice little setup I've got going at. You know, got a job that
- 45:45can pay bills. It's great. Yeah, it's like I know, it's
- 45:49like to have one of those. Yeah, it's great to be able to
- 45:52afford food. Food is good, but I do enjoy it. But one
- 45:58of the fun after this, right, hopefully we will too. Anyways,
- 46:07So one of the fun things I got to do this year so far was
- 46:12we got at least for my new experience, we got crawfish, and which
- 46:19is really fun. So, like, you know, crawfish to like a
- 46:21little how could I describe them? They're fresh water lobsters like lobsters. Yeah,
- 46:30So we got a bunch of those in because you could put them in
- 46:32your ponds. They're good like egg eaters, so they'll eat like mosquito eggs
- 46:38any access like fish eggs you don't want in your pond. They do eat
- 46:43algae and like, but they are opportunistic eaters, which means they'll go after
- 46:46like sickly fish or anything they think they can get their claws on. Oh
- 46:52they don't get like massively huge, but they can get a decent size.
- 46:55So if you have a small fish, they are at risk. Unfortunately,
- 47:00your larger fish will probably eat it. But it is what it is,
- 47:05circle of life and all that. But yeah, we got to mess with
- 47:07those. I haven't surprisingly gotten my fingers pinched yet, but I did get
- 47:14it grazed the other day. So I was transferring some from a old holding
- 47:22tank bit ben, yeah, tank that we had in that man, because
- 47:24we could condense them because we've sold quite a few of them, so we
- 47:28were able to get them kind of more all together instead of super separated.
- 47:31Crawfish surprisingly popular. Yeah, for surprisingly actually, but I would to go
- 47:38grab one too, you know. Oh that's different, right, cramish feels
- 47:44more like a Louisiana thing. Well, it's for like if you have like
- 47:50a creek along with your pond, Like they do really well in those more
- 47:52shallow areas. Cool because they can both be terrestrials. Around here. Yeah,
- 47:59that's true. There is around here somewhere. His place is for fish
- 48:07to swim. Yes, yes, fishing places here. We have fish.
- 48:10We do have fish places here, quite a few of them actually. But
- 48:16I happened to graze my hand on one of their claws when I went to
- 48:20go grab one to transfer over, and like, even though it was like
- 48:23superficial, it's still like actually managed to get some skin, like surface level
- 48:30skin. Nothing like the break didn't break break the skin to the cause bleeding,
- 48:35but enough on the surface. Like, wow, that was actually quite
- 48:37sharp. I wonder what I felt like if it actually pinched me. Oh
- 48:39geez, yeah, I'm like that was That was a moderately sized one too.
- 48:44It wasn't even like the biggest one in there. I'm like, oh,
- 48:45interesting. So their claws might not be powerful for all enough to like
- 48:50break skin, but they could definitely graze you and hurt you. I'm like,
- 48:52oh, good thing, I have this big orange sign up that seems
- 48:54to be working so far. That says attention, Please do not try to
- 48:59handle cross bitch, do not stick it into tanks. Well, there's a
- 49:08sign. I wash my hands of whatever happened. And I already said I'm
- 49:15sorry, all right, I'm sorry. I had to buy them afterwards too.
- 49:21But I've also had like some like interesting issues too that just kind of
- 49:25crop up every once in a while. This one issue that we're having is
- 49:29right in the front of the store. Are these barn swallows that for whatever
- 49:34reason keep making their nest right at the peak at the front there, like
- 49:37on top of a light fixture or whatever. And no matter what we do,
- 49:43they just seem to go back make a nest whatever every year. But
- 49:46when they when someone gets too close to their nest, they get defensive,
- 49:52so they'll go out fly like a bunch of noise, and they'll swoop around
- 49:57and try to dive by. They will get super close, but they'll still
- 50:00try to scare you away, basically, And they do this to everybody,
- 50:05every customer that comes in, every customer that comes out us when we have
- 50:08to open the store or close the store. And what's even worse is that
- 50:14sometimes they'll misjudge like how far they're diving at you. So the other day,
- 50:22I was like thirty minutes late getting out out of work because I had
- 50:30I was bringing in our open flag and we only had like the one door
- 50:34open, and I just kind of walk in and then I feel like something
- 50:37to something's fly past my head and I look up and now we got barn
- 50:40swallows flying around the store, and I'm like, oh, no, God,
- 50:45damn it. So I spent like thirty minutes with my boss, which
- 50:50is we're just like trying everything to get it back out because at that point
- 50:52we had we only had the one door open. It's like a double door
- 50:57front door, but we only had the one open, and they still went
- 51:00through and I had to pop the other one open, and then we were
- 51:04like sitting there for three minutes to see if we go out, no thing
- 51:06go out. It's like, okay, whatever deal with this in the morning.
- 51:08Apparently, according to my co worker is they do it quite often,
- 51:13and the only way to get them out is literally pop open both doors and
- 51:16just sit there and wait because they won't leave when they're ready to leave,
- 51:21but they won't leave right away ever, a kill over heard. Let's nudge
- 51:29them out the window and the tie everything go off. Because my work does
- 51:37know I do a podcast. I don't think they know exactly what I do
- 51:43on the podcast, though I have warned them a number of times that I
- 51:45am not exactly myself all the time. But yeah, But they also have
- 51:54been getting into advertising the store and getting information out there in a new and
- 52:01interesting way, or at least new and interesting for them, one of which
- 52:06is putting out videos of a lot of stuff. And they usually do like
- 52:10a lot of kind of like brief seminars of how to do something or like
- 52:15a brief walkthrough of like what we do. And they had tapped me for
- 52:21a video specifically our morning daily water change that we do for our fish,
- 52:28our stockfish that we sell. We sell Koi and goldfish. So there is
- 52:32a video now out there in the ether that you can find of me just
- 52:38kind of awkwardly doing a water change to several like plastic blue plastic bins while
- 52:49trying desperately not to swear under my breath or say anything or make a joke
- 52:55like I like I wanted to crack a joke like so bad around What could
- 53:00I say that wouldn't be offensive or would reflect badly on the store like,
- 53:05so I just kind of like awkwardly. So there's a lot of like them
- 53:07just speeding me up, just walking back and forth doing shit and occasionally explaining
- 53:14what I'm doing. I'm sure Stevie will post that somewhere, but we won't
- 53:21play it here because it wouldn't sound good on audio. It's it's a definitely
- 53:24more of a visual experience. Put it on Patreon for free so that anybody
- 53:28who follows us on there, Well, yeah, you could find it for
- 53:30free too. People pay for the free video. Yeah right, Well,
- 53:40and that's pretty much everything you've been getting up to over the past week.
- 53:44Yeah, I mean I've been getting some gaming in as I can possibly can.
- 53:47H Like, I'm sorry to hit that brick wall again where I'm like,
- 53:52okay, I got really far in Cyberpunk and I pretty much beat it.
- 53:55I got just about to the end of the DLC. I'm like,
- 53:59okay, I need to give does a break because I've been playing it for
- 54:00like one hundred hours. Then I got into Fallout New Vegas first, went
- 54:07through all those DLCs, some of them I've never done before and some of
- 54:13them I'm probably never do again. Not a huge fan of Dead money,
- 54:21just because not because it was bad, it just I don't know it was.
- 54:29I guess if I had to choose the worst one, it's probably the
- 54:32one I'm on now, which is the one we have to go find that
- 54:36other courier dude, lonesome road, I think, Oh, I genuinely don't
- 54:43remember. Yeah, the best one is the is the freaking old Old World
- 54:47Blues because it's the fucking funny science fiction Big Mountain. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 54:54that one's funny. But yeah, I pretty much beat that one through.
- 54:59And then I'm like, okay, I should eventually actually go through beat
- 55:01Fallout four on the PC because I still haven't done it yet. And I'm
- 55:06like, yeah, let's see what Skyrim's up to, because I've already logged
- 55:09like so many hours of Skyrom and I immediately go, yeah, I'm gonna
- 55:13play skyro Oh. He just hops. I literally just hop up. I've
- 55:16been waiting for like a I was hoping Starfield was gonna be like the next
- 55:21one to jump into, and it really didn't click with me. I enjoyed
- 55:24it enough to finish it. I kind of wish I'd gotten more into like
- 55:30Starship building, because it would have been a lot of fun to build my
- 55:32own, like Massive super Fighter. Yeah, you know, just put together
- 55:37some boss ass fucking unstoppable. I saw some of those things online that people
- 55:42create, Yeah, and they got pretty crazy with it, like the circular
- 55:45ones, because then, like the computer to AI would target the center of
- 55:47your ship, and if it was a circle, there's nothing in the center,
- 55:51it would the missiles and stuff would go through you and not hit you.
- 55:53Because like chocolate on the outer Ring, ourselves in they always had smart
- 56:00if they always aidm center mass, just make center masks, dont a taurus
- 56:06through space. So I saw an interesting TikTok. I guess I just thought
- 56:14of it when you were saying that you were having trouble finding the stuff to
- 56:17to play. It was it was like a TikTok of dude is like,
- 56:22you know, reaching the point where gaming ends, and he's like he's having
- 56:24a hard time sending your hard time picking a game out to play out of
- 56:28the ones he has, and he's like, all right, maybe something more
- 56:30nostalgic, something I've already played goes through unless he can't pick out anything to
- 56:34play there either, And I'm like he's just sitting in front of his TV
- 56:37just like cursed with indecision, and I'm like, dude, this is depression,
- 56:42Like this is not That's exactly what that is. That's depression. Something
- 56:46to relieve your depression. And and and that's what depression does is it paralyzes
- 56:52you with indecision that tries to make you avoid finding something that would give you
- 56:58comfort, like just just pick something in sick with it. Gaming doesn't have
- 57:00to end. I thought I'd seen everything that I would ever see in gaming,
- 57:06like by the time I was thirty, and then I played Deggan Rompa,
- 57:08and I was like, I was fucking wrong. There's there's still new
- 57:12ship out there that I've never even heard of, and there's there's there's new
- 57:15experiences coming out every single day all the time. Like we got rock Band
- 57:21for a good long time there, you know, not long enough you ask
- 57:24me. It's still around. Technically, it's just so hard. It's just
- 57:31just hard to get the instruments if you didn't get it and held on to
- 57:36it because nobody has gone for the million dollar idea of making replacement instruments or
- 57:42they can't. It's probably a pet yeah, yeah, yeah, bastards.
- 57:50Yeah. Anyway, I think that's going to do it for this episode of
- 57:53b F Y t W. You hope you enjoyed us just chilling out,
- 57:57just talking about ship, about so mighty, just talking about ship. Hell
- 58:02yeah, all sorts of stuff. Yeah, we need a chill show every
- 58:07now and then, just to recharge. Yes, because yeah, this was
- 58:10a pretty pretty slow and low week for me, and I'm kind of glad
- 58:15it's over and I'm looking forward to new challenges. So, and I'm almost
- 58:19done with the audiobook and then I can finally relax. No, I can't.
- 58:22I have to make like twenty videos more fun stuff. Yeah, I'll
- 58:27eventually be done. Sunday, just Sunday Sunday along down the road. This
- 58:32whole thing was my idea. I got no one to blame with myself.
