- 0:00Speaker 1: It hits in access to Mark by setting a pre
- 0:03Speaker 1: set in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and
- 0:06Speaker 1: his podcast. Now back to the Mark Simone Show on
- 0:10Speaker 1: w o R. Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go
- 0:15Speaker 1: to Rich Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing?
- 0:18Speaker 2: Just recuperating here with the Olympics and the Andy Griffith Show.
- 0:22Speaker 2: That's what's on all the all these channels. So it's
- 0:23Speaker 2: pretty much I got two things to watch.
- 0:25Speaker 1: You're in the South Carolina Andy Griffith Show. You could
- 0:27Speaker 1: just look out the window. You don't need to watch beautiful.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I wish, I wish it was like that. I wish
- 0:32Speaker 2: it was nineteen sixty four, you know, but you know
- 0:36Speaker 2: Robert Duval was great. But you know this, Jesse Jackson,
- 0:39Speaker 2: you know the last twenty or thirty years, wasn't he
- 0:41Speaker 2: just another race hustle on a race baby wasn't as
- 0:44Speaker 2: bad as al shawp me.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I'm sure he profited, but he made major changes. Sharpton
- 0:51Speaker 1: isn't none nothing for you.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Know, everything Donald Trump did to him over the years,
- 0:56Speaker 2: and then he pretends like he doesn't know. Donald Trump
- 0:57Speaker 2: when he becomes president was running for president. I never
- 1:00Speaker 2: really liked to character that Feller anyway, just but because
- 1:03Speaker 2: of that alone, you know.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Remember that being so close to Donald Trump and then
- 1:08Speaker 1: all of a sudden turning on him when he was pressed.
- 1:10Speaker 1: They all did that, from Schumer to Clinton to Cuomo
- 1:12Speaker 1: to everybody. That's it's a standard, but you gotta. I'm
- 1:18Speaker 1: sure Jesse Jackson was able to profit off his activity,
- 1:21Speaker 1: but he made major changes, as I said, the major
- 1:25Speaker 1: changes in the Democrat Party. His voter registration drive was incredible.
- 1:29Speaker 1: It changed the whole landscape for Democrats.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Just I'm just comparing him to Al Sharpton, who has
- 1:34Speaker 1: never done anything for anybody except himself. Let's go to
- 1:38Speaker 1: Jim in Riverside, Jim Riverside, Connecticut. No, no river, Oh,
- 1:45Speaker 1: Riverside Drive.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 1: You can't just say Manhattan. You gotta tell this Riverside Drive. Yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 1: it's a beautiful street, Riverside drive. It's like old old, old, grand,
- 1:58Speaker 1: old apartment buildings. And and uh.
- 2:01Speaker 4: I ran into this friendom from thirty years ago from college, Brandon.
- 2:06Speaker 4: So what's going on? I said, you know, I remember
- 2:09Speaker 4: you worked for Trump, right, And her answer was she goes, yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 4: I worked for him when he was a Democrat. You know,
- 2:17Speaker 4: she goes, oh, yeah, Trump Tower was full of them
- 2:19Speaker 4: and they were all looking for Democrats.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And then sure, it's a hell of a story. Thanks
- 2:24Speaker 1: to Jim for thanks. I couldn't your phone kept cut?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Now let's go to Sally in Brooklyn. Sal, how you doing,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I'm doing great?
- 2:34Speaker 3: Book?
- 2:35Speaker 1: Uh could you come within like one hundred feet of
- 2:37Speaker 1: the phone where you're so far away?
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:39Speaker 1: What do you? Three blocks away? Yeah?
- 2:42Speaker 3: All right. Look, the Republicans talk about the crimes that
- 2:47Speaker 3: the illegals commit. They don't talk about the victims. They
- 2:51Speaker 3: should be publicizing them every day.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And where are they going to publicize?
- 2:55Speaker 3: Well, on the news?
- 2:57Speaker 1: What news, whenever?
- 2:59Speaker 3: Whenever?
- 3:00Speaker 1: I know, you got to remember they do this stuff,
- 3:02Speaker 1: they put it out every day, but what news. I
- 3:05Speaker 1: mean maybe Fox Newsmax will cover it, but you're not
- 3:08Speaker 1: going to see on ABC, CBS, NBC. They just won't
- 3:12Speaker 1: cut New York Times. They'll never remember that poor woman
- 3:15Speaker 1: that was burned and thrown into the subway, to remember
- 3:18Speaker 1: the other one on the train that was just stabbed
- 3:20Speaker 1: from behind. I mean, they just don't cover this stuff.
- 3:22Speaker 1: They just cover it up. Then don't cover it. Let's
- 3:24Speaker 1: go to Dennis and the Poconos, Dennis, how you doing.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Yeah, Hey, Mark, I left Sunday it was minus five.
- 3:31Speaker 5: I took the alpha down on the auto tream in Florida.
- 3:34Speaker 5: I'm in the museum and the teachers got to class
- 3:36Speaker 5: and she's telling the kids about the water rising and
- 3:39Speaker 5: Miami's flooding. I'm like, tell him about outside. All the
- 3:42Speaker 5: trees are dead, everything dead down here from the.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Cold, well brutal. Yeah, I mean you can. You can
- 3:50Speaker 1: go online and find these videos where all these people
- 3:52Speaker 1: are telling you that the ocean is going to rise up,
- 3:55Speaker 1: half of Florida be underwater. And a lot of these
- 3:57Speaker 1: videos are from nineteen eighty eighty two, and none of
- 4:01Speaker 1: this has ever come to this. I think it's one
- 4:03Speaker 1: on my Twitter from a while back. It's Dan Rather
- 4:05Speaker 1: in nineteen eighty saying Florida will soon be underwater. There's one.
- 4:09Speaker 1: There's an ABC News report they said Manhattan. Half of
- 4:13Speaker 1: Manhattan would be underwater by like nineteen ninety eight. There's
- 4:16Speaker 1: a million of these, and none of these people have
- 4:18Speaker 1: ever apologized. Al Gore has never apologized for all that
- 4:22Speaker 1: crap that he pushed on everybody. One more, let's go
- 4:24Speaker 1: to Adam in New Jersey, Adam, how you doing.
- 4:28Speaker 5: I'm doing good.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Mike.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Listen. I heard a little bit of news about Donald
- 4:32Speaker 5: Trump signing some kind of legislation or some kind of paperworker.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad you got a story very specifically nailed down.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Maybe you might have signed a minute. Give me a minute.
- 4:44Speaker 1: We don't have a minute. You got ten seconds, go ahead.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Oh, ten seconds, Mark, take a breath. Go ahead, Okay,
- 4:55Speaker 5: I got a breath. He signed some guys in the
- 4:57Speaker 5: legislation to rebuild Gaza.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah, five hundred billion dollars.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I just want to know for a year, Israel
- 5:05Speaker 2: should be paying for that?
- 5:06Speaker 5: Don't you think? Not me that taxpayer?
- 5:08Speaker 1: No, well you're not going to pay for it. But
- 5:10Speaker 1: this has been going on for over a year now,
- 5:12Speaker 1: this plan to rebuild Gaza, a country small over the
- 5:15Speaker 1: world would come in. Private sector companies would come in
- 5:19Speaker 1: and rebuild Gaza. In other words, they'd build skyscrapers, they'd
- 5:22Speaker 1: build beautiful homes, they build casinos, they'd build restaurants, they'd
- 5:26Speaker 1: build a museum. It would be an absolute paradise. Now,
- 5:31Speaker 1: that population of Gaza, how long do you think before
- 5:33Speaker 1: they turn it into a total disaster area? Two weeks,
- 5:37Speaker 1: but I guess they would have security to maintain it
- 5:39Speaker 1: and all that. Anyway, Hey, when we come back, rob
- 5:42Speaker 1: Astorino will be with us. You know, he ran for governor.
- 5:44Speaker 1: He can tell us a lot about how that race goes,
- 5:48Speaker 1: how that plays out. We'll get to that in a
- 5:49Speaker 1: lot more. Just ahead on seven to ten wo r
