- Rob (AI host): You opened Breeze Assistant once, saw an empty box, and closed it. Dana (AI host): The redesigned panel now offers suggested prompts, and your chats, artifacts, and memories sit under one Breeze menu. Rob (AI host): One admin switch decides whether anyone on your team sees it at all. Narrator (AI voice): This is Sidekick's What Just Shipped, presented by Sidekick Strategies. Narrator (AI voice): Your hosts, Rob and Dana, are AI. Narrator (AI voice): The voices are synthetic, the research is real, and humans check every claim before it reaches you. Rob (AI host): Before we start: Dana and I are AI hosts, and we haven't clicked through HubSpot ourselves. Rob (AI host): We're reading HubSpot's help article on Breeze Assistant, updated October twenty-ninth, 2026. Dana (AI host): Heads up, today I'm playing a marketing manager who opened Breeze once, got nothing useful, and never went back. Rob (AI host): Then this one's for you. Breeze Assistant is HubSpot's conversational AI assistant. Rob (AI host): It can generate content, summarize records, prepare for meetings, and complete tasks across your account on desktop. Dana (AI host): That's the pitch I heard last year. What's actually different about the panel? Rob (AI host): The layout. Rob (AI host): Our research from August describes a redesign of the interface you use every day, not a new AI feature. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's help article now walks through that layout. Dana (AI host): Who gets it? Is this a paid thing? Rob (AI host): HubSpot lists Breeze Assistant for all products and plans, with extra subscriptions needed for certain features. Dana (AI host): So free portals too. Does anything have to be turned on first? Rob (AI host): Yes. In your AI settings, an admin turns on Give users access to Breeze Assistant. Rob (AI host): File upload, CRM record analysis, and activity analysis each have their own switch too. Rob (AI host): If those are off, Breeze can do less. Dana (AI host): That might explain my first try. It couldn't see my records. Dana (AI host): Okay, how do I open it? Rob (AI host): In the top navigation bar, click Breeze Assistant. Rob (AI host): Then enter your prompt, click a suggested prompt, or use a saved prompt, and send it. Dana (AI host): Suggested prompts. That's the part I needed the first time. Dana (AI host): A blank box gives me nothing, because I never know what to ask it. Rob (AI host): And that's exactly the problem our research names: Breeze enabled, but people not using it, because the first open showed a blank screen. Dana (AI host): So where did everything else go? I had chats, and I think I saved something once. Rob (AI host): Everything lives under the Breeze dropdown menu at the top of the panel. Rob (AI host): Select New chat to start fresh. Select Chats to continue an old conversation. Rob (AI host): Select Artifacts to find saved outputs, like HTML pages or text documents. Rob (AI host): And hover over More, then select Memories. Dana (AI host): Memories? What is it remembering? Rob (AI host): Things like your name, job title, tone, writing style, and recurring instructions, so responses get more personal over time. Rob (AI host): You can tell it to remember or forget something, and delete memories from that list. Dana (AI host): Okay, that's useful. I'd tell it I prefer bullet points. Rob (AI host): HubSpot uses that exact example. Rob (AI host): You can also save a prompt you reuse: hover over a chat you sent, click the three dots, and select Save prompt. Dana (AI host): And when it gives me an answer, how do I know where it came from? Rob (AI host): Responses can include citations to records, connected apps, and saved memories. Rob (AI host): Click Sources below the response to see everything it referenced. Dana (AI host): And if I want the full picture? Rob (AI host): Switch to full-screen view and open the right panel. Rob (AI host): It shows the context Breeze used, plus any files, artifacts, or connectors. Dana (AI host): That's what would get the people I work with to trust it. Dana (AI host): Is there a limit if all of us start using it on Monday? Rob (AI host): Content generation is limited to one hundred requests per account within a rolling one-minute window. Rob (AI host): Each request counts once, no matter how long the content is. Dana (AI host): Fine for a marketing team of five. Rob (AI host): Why it matters: a panel that suggests the next prompt turns Breeze from a blank box into a tool people actually open. Dana (AI host): Who should care most? Rob (AI host): Our research points to admins and RevOps leads trying to drive Breeze adoption, sales reps who open deal records all day, and smaller teams where Breeze has felt too complex to start. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Hey, it's George B. Thomas from Sidekick Strategies. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Full honesty, this is my AI voice clone, made with my permission. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Your admins are smart. They're just buried, and the portal keeps getting heavier every quarter. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): In HubSpot Super Admin Live, I come onsite and rebuild your portal with your admin team, using the Super Admin Operating System. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): You map the architecture, clean up operations, and write a playbook that survives the next hire. George B. Rob (AI host): Dana, let's talk about what's changed since August, because the theme question is the one we get asked most. Dana (AI host): Go ahead. My marketing manager wants to know if she has to do anything. Rob (AI host): Our August write-up said the new look required opting in to HubSpot's new theme, rolling out on September fourteenth. Rob (AI host): That opt-in question is settled. Rob (AI host): A HubSpot staff post in the community says classic theme was sunset on August thirty-first, and in September HubSpot confirmed there's no option to switch back. Dana (AI host): So everyone is on the new theme now, whether they opted in or not. Rob (AI host): That's our reading of HubSpot's posts. Dana (AI host): And if the people I work with miss the old look? Rob (AI host): The same HubSpot staff reply says the team is working toward dark mode, an expanded set of themes, and full product accessibility. Rob (AI host): No dates were given. Rob (AI host): Two details in our August write-up we couldn't confirm on HubSpot's help pages: that the panel now opens on the left side of the screen, and that you get up to three suggested prompts. Rob (AI host): Check your own portal before you train anyone on those. Dana (AI host): Then here's my plan, as the marketing manager who gave up. Rob (AI host): Step one: ask your admin to confirm Give users access to Breeze Assistant is on in your AI settings. Rob (AI host): If it's off, nobody sees it. Dana (AI host): Step two: open Breeze Assistant from the top navigation, on a contact or campaign you know well, and click a suggested prompt instead of typing. Rob (AI host): Step three: tell it one preference, like bullet points, then check the Memories list to see it saved. Rob (AI host): Delete anything you don't want it to keep. Dana (AI host): Step four: when it answers, click Sources and check what it read. Dana (AI host): If something's missing, ask a Super Admin to review account context and your permissions. Rob (AI host): Step five: save the one prompt you'll reuse every week, so nobody on your team starts from a blank box again. Dana (AI host): And step six: show your team the Breeze menu, so they know where chats, artifacts, and memories live now. Rob (AI host): Still skeptical? Dana (AI host): Less. A suggested prompt beats a blank box. Rob (AI host): Bottom line: turn the access switch on, then click a suggested prompt. Dana (AI host): Links to every page we used are in the show notes, plus more of our research at Sidekick Strategies dot com. Rob (AI host): Grateful you spent a few minutes with us. Dana (AI host): Click the prompt, not the blank box. Narrator (AI voice): Sidekick's What Just Shipped is presented by Sidekick Strategies, with AI hosts Rob and Dana and AI-generated music. Narrator (AI voice): We're independent, and not affiliated with HubSpot. Find our research at Sidekick Strategies dot com.
