Let's start in verse one now concerning spiritual gifts.

Brothers, I would not have you ignorant Paul throughout the New
3:51
Testament, he did not want us to be ignorant about Israel.

He does not want us to be ignorant about the spiritual
3:59
gifts, and he does not want us to be ignorant about the rapture

of the church. And those are the very things in
4:07
our day right now that the church is ignorant of, which is
4:11
why here, three times in the New Testament, you're going to see
4:14
Paul say, I would not have you be ignorant.

One about Israel, 2 about spiritual gifts, three about the
4:24
rapture of the church, the second coming of Christ.

And that is what you're going to find here is that Paul is going
4:31
to educate us on it. And what you're going to find in
4:34
the spiritual gifts is that they all align with the nature of
4:38
Christ. Anything outside of the nature
4:42
of Christ is demonic. That's all the spiritual gifts
4:49
are. They are the multitude of
4:51
Christ's character spread throughout his body, the church,
4:56
the ecclesia that called out ones friends.

Anything that is extra biblical is demonic.

Two, you know that you were Gentiles carried away unto these
5:09
dumb idols even as you were led. That's all it is.

They're dumb, they're deaf, they're mute, and it's dumb for
5:20
us to follow after any other spirit than the Spirit of God.

Friends 3 Wherefore I give you to understand that no man

speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus a cursed and that no
5:35
man can say that Jesus is Lord but by the Holy Ghost.

That is where you see salvation spring up is when we finally
5:44
figure out that Jesus Christ is Lord.

When we let go of sin and self, let go of this world, let go of
5:52
ma'am and let go of greed and power.

When we let go of how we think this world should go, when we

let go of offense, we can finally come to Jesus Christ and

see that he is, I deny, he is Lord.

That is where you're going to find an immense amount of

freedom. And no man can say that Jesus

was accursed. That is not the Spirit of God.

And the Bible makes it plain. And we know that Jesus hung on a

tree, and the Bible says that any man who hangs on a tree is

cursed. So therefore we see here that He

took on our sins. We see here that He himself, it
6:44
was not a curse, but He took on the curse of our sin, and He
6:50
remained sinless. He remained perfect, He remained
6:56
fully God and fully man. And there was this great

impartation, friends, there was this great working of God on the

cross. When Jesus went down into hell

and snatched the keys, He remained all God even as he took
7:15
upon the entirety of man's curse.

But Jesus himself is not a cursed.

Jesus is Lord for now. There are diversities of gifts,

but the same spirit. That's what you need to
7:33
understand is that these fallen angels and even Lucifer, Satan
7:39
himself, that dragon, he can perform miracles.

So we need not look at the miracles to prove that God is
7:46
working. We need to have discernment,
7:49
friends. And you need to know that the

Spirit of God is the one that distributes the gifts and they

all are in line with Christ's character. 5 And there are

differences of administrators, but the same Lord. 6 And there

are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which

works in all. So you can see God the Father,

God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, three and one, the triune

nature of God Almighty represented right here in these

3 verses. Diversities of gifts, same

spirit, differences of administration, same Lord,

diversities of operations, same God.

The three in one are working in all the Saints. 7 But the

manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit

with all So this revealing of the Spirit which is already

present in every born again blood bought believer friends,

it's already there. But as we operate in walking in
8:59
the Spirit, you're going to see the Holy Spirit reveal himself

in wonderful ways that prove that God is at work in the

midst. When you see people get healed

and people set free, it proves that God is real and God is
9:15
working mightily and that the gifts have not ceased and they
9:19
are still available to us today. Friends 8 For the one is given
9:28
by the Spirit, the word of Wisdom, and to another the word
9:33
of knowledge by the same Spirit. So this wisdom and knowledge the
9:42
Holy Spirit is giving to those who can harness it and who can
9:47
use it, and who will not become prideful and puffed up in these
9:52
gifts. And our identity is in Christ.

They are not in the giftings friends, and so many people err
9:59
because they make their whole life and their whole ministry

about 1 facet of the Holy Ghost. But what you're going to need to

understand is that we are one body and one spirit, and we all
10:12
operate for one purpose, which is to glorify Jesus Christ in

the highest nine. Another faith by the same
10:23
Spirit. To another, the gifts of healing

by the same Spirit. So here, this faith and this
10:29
healing, friends, all of us should have faith when we come
10:34
to the Lord Jesus Christ. But to some, there is this gift
10:38
of faith where they can actually see and to peek and to peer into
10:42
the spiritual realm and they could see it friends in the
10:45
theatre of their minds. They can understand the things
10:48
that are actually happening. The faith that God can do
10:51
anything, that God's not limited and He's not done.

Only to some they will have this, and then to the others,

this gift of healings. And you need to understand that

Jesus always wants to heal. Sometimes he chooses not to for
11:12
more glory. But you need to understand that

there are some that are walking in the office, that they have
11:18
the this gift of healing friends, that it doesn't mean
11:22
that every single person that they lay hands on and pray over
11:25
gets healed, but that they know that their calling is into this
11:31
gift of healing. And you see, it worked
11:33
wonderfully for God's glory and for his beauty to be on display
11:39
as he dissolves that cancer, as he reverses those diabetes, as
11:43
he regenerates that limb. You can see this gift of healing
11:47
Friends 10 to another, the working of miracles to another
11:56
prophecy to another, discerning of spirits to another, diverse
12:02
kinds of tongues, to another, the interpretation of tongues.

So this speaking in tongues should never happen without the
12:13
person there who is able to interpret it.

And you can see these are two different giftings, friends.

And you can see that if you are speaking in the angelic
12:23
language, you should keep that privately to yourself, friends,
12:27
unless there is someone there who can interpret it.

And so much of it is being used to try to prove that somebody
12:35
has received the Holy Ghost. And it's a show and it should
12:39
not be. And God knows the hearts

speaking in tongues is real. And it's still very much alive
12:45
and active today. Friends, we can get all confused
12:48
and turn around. And there's this doubting of
12:51
salvation if you can't have this speaking in tongues, and it
12:56
should not be so far be it from us to try to make people speak

in tongues to prove their salvation.

That is wickedness, friends. But we also do not need to be
13:06
those who try to discount and discredit those who can speak in
13:10
tongues. You just need to know that if
13:12
you're going to do it publicly, make sure that there's somebody
13:15
there that can interpret it. You can see this prophecy,
13:18
friends. And this isn't fortune telling
13:21
friends, that's demonic and satanic, friends.
13:23
This is 4th telling. It's knowing what God says about
13:27
a certain matter and how it's going to end up friends.

And you only get one shot to get it wrong and then you are
13:33
labeled a false prophet. So be careful friends.

Do not speak out of turn, friends.

Make sure you're full of the Holy Ghost and make sure that
13:41
whatever it is that you prophecy about actually comes to fruition

so that you do not get labeled as a false prophet.

Friends, you can also see that there's this this discerning of
13:52
spirits. And we know that God tells us to
13:54
test the spirits to make sure that they are of him.

Because listen to me very carefully.

Just because it's an Angel does not mean that it's not a fallen

Angel, friends. And you need to know that demons
14:06
are nothing more than fallen angels.

And there is this power, this very limited power behind it.

And somebody who has the gift of being able to discern the

spirits can tell you if that is from God or not, if that is an
14:20
Angel of light or if it is a demonic Angel of deception,

friends. And that is what you need to

understand is that there is a Great War that is happening all
14:31
around us. And in Daniel chapter 10, we get
14:34
to peek into peer into what actually happens whenever we're
14:37
praying in the spiritual realm. And you could see him being with
14:40
stood for 21 days and you can see that we need this gift of
14:44
being able to discern the spirits and friends, because if
14:47
not, we're going to be LED astray.

And he, Lucifer masquerades himself as an Angel of light

friends. And you need to understand that

that just because in the outset, it looks beautiful and it looks

as if it's good whenever you get, it bites like a Viper,

friends, and it wraps its tears and it's and it wraps its

tentacles around you and it suffocates you.

And there are so many people who were dying and going by the

wayside because they followed after a fallen Angel thinking

that it was a good spirit, friends.

And they have got themselves in a heap of mess, friends.

And by the Spirit of God, we can see through the deception of the

enemy. And the problem with being

deceived is that you don't realize you're being deceived,

friends. And we desperately need the
15:33
Spirit of to be able to discern the Spirit's friends. 11 But all

these work, that one and the self same Spirit dividing to
15:46
every man severally as he will. That is what you need to
15:50
understand is that all these giftings are from the Holy
15:55
Ghost. They are not yours.

You cannot manufacture them. He gives them to whom he

pleases. And the other thing you need to

know about this gifting is that when you make it about pride and
16:12
selfish vanity, when you make it about a show, the little bit
16:16
that you do have will be taken from you and you'll walk out in
16:20
your own strength, and then you will be dismayed and overtaken.

And if you're going to go out into the harvest, make sure you
16:32
are completely full of the Holy Spirit.

You're not going out in your own power, or else you will be beat
16:39
down and struck and you will be put to shame.

Friends 12 For as the body is 1 and has many members, and all

the members of that one body being many, or one body, so also
16:55
is Christ. This is not semantics, friends.

This body with the body with the body.

He's trying to show you how we cannot think of one part of the

body as being less then the other.

We cannot say that the appendix has no part of the body or that

the spleen is not part of the body or your pinky toe.

Doesn't really matter friends. It sure matters whenever it's

hurting, doesn't it? And that is what you need to

understand is even the parts that we're not even cognizant of

friends make up the whole and he's going to show us that in

this little section 13 for by 1 Spirit are we all baptized into

one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or

free or have been all to drink into one spirit.

Praise God Hallelujah that spirit is Jesus Christ.

It's the Holy Ghost friends, we are the body of Christ and we

cannot look down the nose that those who have a less position

than ours and we cannot think of those that are in higher

positions than us as being better than us.

We are one body and we all serve different functions for the same

purpose, which is to glorify God in the highest.

Friends, we drink into that one spirit.

Thank you Jesus. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15

If the foot shall say, because I'm not the hand, I'm not of the

body, is it therefore not of the body?

He's saying, how ridiculous is it for the foot to say, well,

I'm not the hand, so therefore I'm not part of the body.

That is ridiculous. That is childish.

That is immaturity, friends, whenever we try to look around

at all the people that are in the body and think that we need

to look exactly like they do. Far be it from us, we just need

to walk in the calling that God has placed on our life.

And you're going to find that He is glorified whenever you are

doing even the janitorial work, whenever you are the one who's

doing the stationary buying and the one that's in the

administration role behind the scenes.

If you are a giver, praise God for you.

Not every one of us has to be the mouth and the voice,

friends. Not every one of us has to be
19:24
the eyes, friends. Not every one of us has to be
19:29
the hands, friends. We all need to play our part to
19:33
watch the body function healthily, and there are many
19:36
cancers inside the body that need to be cut out, friends.

There are many people who've gotten into the body and all
19:44
they do is nag and they're critical and they're negative
19:47
friends and we have to cut it out.

Friends. If you show me somebody who is

harboring a critical spirit, I will show you a backslidden

Christian 16 And if the ear shall say, because I'm not the

eye, I'm not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?

How ridiculous. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the

hearing? And if the whole we're hearing,

where were the smelling? 18 But now has God set the
20:19
members, every one of them, in the body, as it has pleased him?

So whenever you come to the Lord Jesus Christ, think about it.

For 2000 years now he's been orchestrating this body and as

Saints pass on to go on to be with the Lord and others are

born and brought up and sanctified, he puts them in
20:37
their rightful place within the body.

And you're talking about about a body that spans the entire globe

all over every continent, Jesus Christ body, friends, think

about it. He puts them into place as he
20:51
sees fit, friends. And we cannot make it about
20:54
self. We cannot make it about our
20:57
identification being within the giftings, friends.

Far be it from us, our identification is in Him.

We find our purpose and meaning. We find our identity in Christ

and then He is the one that distributes it.

And a lot of times we're not even aware of our giftings in
21:17
the sense that they're just naturally happening all around

us. We do not need to be so hyper

fixated upon the giftings, we just need to be obedient unto
21:26
the Word of God. The revealed will of God,

friends that you hold in your hands, the 66 book Canon from

Genesis to Revelation. It's not about the

interpretation, it's all about the obedience.

And are you obeying the revealed will of God?

And then you're going to find that He is pleased to reveal to

you the unrevealed things that are within His Word.

Friends 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?

Think about it. If we all were eyes, where would

the mouth be? If we all were ears, where would
22:04
the nose be? If we were all hands, where
22:09
would the feet be? Friends that go and beautiful

are the feet on the mountains that take the gospel out and

praise God. We are all of one body and we do

not need to break down another brother or sister because

they're not within the same giftings that you and I have.

If you are an evangelist, don't think that everybody else needs
22:29
to be an evangelist. If you are a missionary, do not
22:32
think that everybody needs to be a missionary.

If you are a sender and gifted in giving, do not think that
22:40
everybody needs to sin and be the one gifted and giving.

Do not try to break down your brothers and sisters because
22:48
they're not the ones pounding the pulpit.

Friends, do not think that you need to break down your brothers
22:53
and sisters because they're not serving within the body of child
22:59
care, or do not think that you need to break down people

because they're not gifted at worship.

Friends, that is where the enemy loves to have a heyday and he

comes in and he causes all these schisms.

Friends, all these divisions, Friends, in this discord amongst
23:17
brothers, far be it from us, Friends, to be those that stir
23:20
the pot within the camp. 21 In the I cannot say unto the hand,

I have no need of you, nor again the head to the feet, I have no
23:31
need of you. 22 Nay, much more, those members of the body which
23:36
seem to be more feeble are necessary.

Think about it, friends. Something as simple as your big
23:42
toe, It makes the entire body have balance, friends.

You cut out the big toe and you're off balance, friends.

Something that is hidden most of the day that we don't even
23:53
really think about play such a huge part from the head all the

way down, friends. And that is what he's trying to

get you to understand is even the things that are seemingly

weaker than you. We should not break down 23 and

those members of the body which we think to be less honorable

upon those we bestow much we we bestow more abundant honor and

our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

So he's saying even the private parts, the hidden parts that get

covered all day long, friends, those are the ones that we give

honor to. Just because they're not seen

does not mean that they're not part of the body and that they

should not be honored. Those are the ones who take

their positions and they are OK with never getting the credit.

And they're behind the scenes workers, and we do not need to
24:52
think that they are in sin because they're not outwardly
24:55
expressed. Their giftings.

If they were to leave, there would be such a void within the

body of Christ, and that is what He's trying to get you to

understand. 24 For our comely parts have no need, but God has
25:09
tempered the body together, having giving more abundant
25:12
honor to that part which lacked. The way up is down, friends.

The last is 1st and the 1st is last.

And this is the way of God. 25 that there should be no schism
25:25
in the body, but that the member should have the same care for
25:28
one another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members
25:34
suffer with it, or if one member be honored, all the members
25:40
rejoice with it. Think about it friends, there

are parts of the body that you don't even think about on a
25:46
day-to-day. Could be years and years and
25:48
years that go by that you do not even think about that body part
25:52
until it is hurting. And then the moment that it
25:55
hurts, the entire body is brought into remembrance of how
25:59
important that part of the body is.

And that is why we need to wake up.

That is why we need to not try to break each other down.

That is why we need to get in line with the office and the
26:11
giftings that God has called you into so that the whole body will
26:15
be healthy. Friends, we rejoice whenever the
26:21
whole body is healthy and working in the way that God
26:25
designed it. 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and the members
26:30
in particular. 28 And God has set some in the church.

First apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly, teachers,
26:40
After that miracles and gifts of healings, helps government
26:44
diversity of tongues. 29 Are all apostles?
26:49
Are all prophets? Are all teachers?
26:53
Are all workers of miracle 30? Have all the gifts of healing?

Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

Think about what he's trying to say here.

How ridiculous is it if we were just to amass a sounding board,

these echo chambers, if we were just to a massive group of
27:17
people who all look like us and talk like us and we're gifted

like us. And then it would just have one

facet of God's myriad of all of the ways that he can reveal

himself in this life and in this world.

Friends, God is a God of diversity.

There's a reason that he made so many different flowers, friends.

There's a reason that he made so many different clouds, so many
27:44
different trees, so many different people, so many
27:47
different topographies and geographies.

Friends, He's a God of diversity and he is honored and well
27:55
pleased whenever we operate in the healthy body and they all
28:01
exude the nature of Jesus Christ.

Every single gifting is Jesus on display through his people,
28:08
through the Christians, through the church, friends.

And that is the whole purpose of the whole matter of the gifts,
28:15
friends, and the giving of the gifts.

And it pleases God when we operate with a diversity within
28:22
the church. We'll end on 31, but covet
28:27
earnestly the best gifts. And yet I show you a more
28:34
excellent way. So here we're going to get into
28:37
a section tomorrow. We'll get into a section where
28:43
he's going to show us a more excellent way, which is the way
28:46
of love, and all these giftings are going to go by the wayside

and our love is only going to be increase for all of eternity.
