- 1:33Good morning, everyone. I hope you enjoyed that fresh new introduction.
- 1:36Don't worry, my children will be back and they'll have many more different versions to come.
- 1:41But thank you very much to Eric Santana, my brother, for producing an amazing song.
- 1:45We got many more to show you and many more things to share. With that being.
- 1:49Said, let's get started.
- 1:51Today, we continue a conversation that is so important.
- 1:56Faith and mental health, part two.
- 1:58And we call it part two because last time we talked, we talked about faith and
- 2:02how faith and mental health go hand in hand.
- 2:05Today, we'll take a deeper exploring practical ways that we can lean on God
- 2:11while also recognizing the importance of support, wisdom, and community.
- 2:17You know, I remember times when my own thoughts and worries seemed louder than God's voice.
- 2:23Maybe you felt that too, where stress, anxiety, or discouragement drown out
- 2:28space in your mind, even drowns out peace.
- 2:33And yet, God doesn't step back when we struggle. He steps closer.
- 2:38Sometimes he sends us help in unexpected ways.
- 2:42A friend who listens, a doctor who cares, a doctor who gives guidance,
- 2:46a counselor who offers tools, or even a scripture that speaks directly to our hearts.
- 2:53Yeah, faith doesn't erase mental health challenges, But it gives us hope,
- 2:58strength And the courage to take the next step,
- 3:01I remember a scripture that I read was from Isaiah 41, verse 10,
- 3:06reminds us, and it says, So do not fear, for I am with you.
- 3:11Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
- 3:14I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
- 3:20That verse is a lifeline, and it reminds us that even in our lowest moments,
- 3:26God is the steady hand holding us up. If you're listening today and you're carrying
- 3:32heavy burdens, hear this.
- 3:34You're not broken. You're not forgotten. And you are not alone.
- 3:39God cares for your whole self, your body, your mind, and spirit.
- 3:45And seeking help is not a sign for weak faith. It's a step of wisdom.
- 3:51So whether your journey or journals pray, I know that I remember just thinking
- 3:59now off the top of my head, you know, I recall I had journals myself.
- 4:03So whether you have a journal or maybe you pray or talk to a therapist or simply
- 4:08reach out to a friend, remember that God is with you.
- 4:13He's with you every breath of that journey.
- 4:16And as we go today and we start our Monday, let's close it out with a prayer.
- 4:23Heavenly Father, we thank you for caring about every part of who we are.
- 4:27We lift up those listening who feel weary, anxious, uncertain.
- 4:33Remind them that your hand is strong.
- 4:35Remind us that your hand is strong enough to hold their fears and gentle enough to calm their heads.
- 4:45You know, sometimes the Lord can even gently enough calm our hearts,
- 4:49bring people into their lives we ask
- 4:53you this Lord bring people into your lives and their
- 4:56lives who can offer wisdom comfort and
- 4:59encouragement and maybe just
- 5:02maybe we remember that your
- 5:05love never dies that your love never leaves us and we pray this in your precious
- 5:12name amen as always stay safe remember that you matter and never forget have faith let it begin.
- 5:24Music.
