Transcript
- 0:01Stu does America.
- 0:06Welcome to the program.
- 0:06Jason Buttrell,
- 0:07Steve Baker gonna join us in a little bit,
- 0:09but I wanted to start,
- 0:10uh,
- 0:10basically with this.
- 0:13Nonsense with Kamala Harris.
- 0:14We're going to do the Kamala Harris rehabilitation tour,
- 0:18uh,
- 0:18because that's what she's out there doing right now,
- 0:19I guess,
- 0:20maybe trying to line herself up for another run at something.
- 0:23It's hard to know exactly what she's up to.
- 0:25Maybe just trying to sell some books.
- 0:27Harris stops biting her tongue in 107 days.
- 0:30Her book about last year's campaign
- 0:32against
- 0:33Trump.
- 0:33Here's the cover.
- 0:34They really did a lot on this one.
- 0:35They spent a lot of time on it.
- 0:36Uh,
- 0:37yeah,
- 0:37actually they didn't at all.
- 0:38It's just the text on the blue cover.
- 0:40107 Days by
- 0:42Kamala Harris,
- 0:43and I will say.
- 0:45Uh,
- 0:45there's been enough buzz about this book,
- 0:47not because,
- 0:47uh,
- 0:48that it's good or anything,
- 0:49but there's been enough gossip
- 0:51and her bad explanations that I kind of
- 0:54wanted to read it a little bit.
- 0:55Like,
- 0:56I can't imagine myself actually sitting down
- 0:58and reading the entire book,
- 0:59but I did think,
- 1:00uh,
- 1:01maybe an audiobook.
- 1:02And then I thought to myself,
- 1:04actually she's probably reading it,
- 1:05isn't she?
- 1:06Like if there was a professional voice actor reading this book.
- 1:10Maybe I'll go through it.
- 1:11If it's her,
- 1:12I just can't take it.
- 1:13I can't,
- 1:13I can't possibly take it.
- 1:14By the way,
- 1:14Simon and Schuster has produced this,
- 1:16and
- 1:16it says about the book for the first time with surprising and revealing results
- 1:20or insights,
- 1:21uh,
- 1:21former President,
- 1:22uh,
- 1:22Kamala Harris tells the story of one of the wildest and most consequential
- 1:25presidential campaigns in American history,
- 1:27and then they give you this,
- 1:27and this is italicized
- 1:29to build the drama for the book.
- 1:31Your Secret Service code name is Pioneer.
- 1:34You were the first woman in history to
- 1:35be elected Vice President of the United States.
- 1:37On July 21,
- 1:382024,
- 1:39your running mate Joe Biden announces that he will not be seeking re-election.
- 1:42The presidential election will occur on November 5,
- 1:442024.
- 1:45You have 107 days.
- 1:49Like a horrible episode of 24.
- 1:51Uh,
- 1:52I,
- 1:53you know,
- 1:54we've been over
- 1:55her terrible reasoning on some of this,
- 1:56but I want to go through some of her arguments being made right now.
- 1:58But first,
- 1:59let me give you the reception she's getting around the media.
- 2:01Here she is,
- 2:02uh,
- 2:02waddling out on The View.
- 2:06Talk about you
- 2:07wherever you go now?
- 2:09Well,
- 2:09you know,
- 2:10a lot of people are coming up to me crying actually crying,
- 2:12yeah,
- 2:13yeah,
- 2:13crying,
- 2:14and she's crying.
- 2:15People are crying.
- 2:15Well,
- 2:16they're crying
- 2:17because they're just so disappointed in all these dictators
- 2:20that have been elected since it could have been Kamala.
- 2:22Now Joe Biden is not happy with this book rollout.
- 2:25I don't know if you know this.
- 2:26Angry and disappointed,
- 2:27Kamala Harris,
- 2:28critical.
- 2:29Of Joe Biden in a new book.
- 2:30Joe's not happy with
- 2:32with Kamala.
- 2:33Kamala's not happy
- 2:34with Joe.
- 2:35Um,
- 2:36now she was asked whether Joe Biden could have run for
- 2:39president.
- 2:40Of course he was running for president.
- 2:41They told us that he was completely fine the entire time until they said,
- 2:45oh,
- 2:45obviously he's not fine,
- 2:46and of course that's why we switched to Kamala.
- 2:49Kamala's going to be fine.
- 2:50Don't worry about it.
- 2:51Trust us this time.
- 2:52Here she is
- 2:53talking about this period
- 2:56with uh Good Morning America.
- 2:58My concern about
- 3:00him running for reelection
- 3:02was completely separate
- 3:04from my admiration
- 3:06and knowledge about his capacity to serve as President of the United States,
- 3:09which was.
- 3:10Consistent
- 3:11and never wavered.
- 3:12Well,
- 3:12when we sit here as we sit here today,
- 3:14do you think he would have been up for
- 3:16running the country for 4 more years?
- 3:19Here's the distinction that I make.
- 3:21It's and having had the experience myself,
- 3:24it is one thing to have the capacity to govern.
- 3:28It is another thing
- 3:30to go through
- 3:31an election
- 3:32for President of the United States,
- 3:33so you are an athlete,
- 3:35you may appreciate this kind of metaphor.
- 3:37Running for president of the United States is like being in a marathon
- 3:41at a sprinter's pace
- 3:43with people throwing tomatoes at you every step you take.
- 3:47It is not for the lighthearted.
- 3:49It takes an incredible amount of endurance
- 3:52and stamina,
- 3:54and
- 3:55can you imagine doing it while you are also carrying literally the
- 3:59weight of the world as being president of the United States?
- 4:02So the distinction I make
- 4:04is about capacity to be president
- 4:06and what that
- 4:07election
- 4:08would require in that campaign,
- 4:09especially running against Donald Trump.
- 4:13Wait,
- 4:14so she's saying it's harder to run for president than be president?
- 4:19That's her
- 4:20case?
- 4:22That is a bizarre argument.
- 4:24You're talking about managing
- 4:27the world's nuclear weapons.
- 4:29You're talking about
- 4:31multiple conflicts going on at any given time.
- 4:33By the way,
- 4:34part of your responsibility as president of the United States
- 4:36has to do with overseeing a country and hoping for
- 4:40some civility through an election process.
- 4:42I mean,
- 4:43you're involved in that as president anyway,
- 4:44even if you're not running,
- 4:45you're still involved in it in some
- 4:48tangential way.
- 4:49What
- 4:50Again,
- 4:50she,
- 4:51she doesn't think these things out,
- 4:52I don't think very well before she gets in front
- 4:54of the person.
- 4:55I also,
- 4:56so,
- 4:56so running a campaign is like running a marathon at
- 4:59a sprinter's pace while they're throwing tomatoes at you.
- 5:03What's
- 5:03being president like?
- 5:06Uh,
- 5:06uh,
- 5:06a wonderful stroll through the park.
- 5:08It seems like she's making the case,
- 5:09very,
- 5:09very strange.
- 5:10Uh,
- 5:10of course,
- 5:11and I remember all,
- 5:12probably,
- 5:13there's a bunch of moments
- 5:14over my life that I will remember doing this show.
- 5:16I,
- 5:16you know,
- 5:17I remember,
- 5:18um,
- 5:18you know,
- 5:19uh,
- 5:19the,
- 5:20the moment where the Obamacare decision came out while we were live on the air.
- 5:23I remember,
- 5:24of course,
- 5:24some of the stuff around 9/11.
- 5:26I was on the air one day when a plane crashed into a building in Florida,
- 5:29uh,
- 5:30you know,
- 5:30right,
- 5:31it was right after we got off the air here
- 5:33where the Charlie Kirk,
- 5:34uh,
- 5:34situation.
- 5:35There's a bunch of moments you'll remember.
- 5:37One of the moments I will remember from politics,
- 5:39probably my entire life
- 5:40was
- 5:41watching
- 5:42in real time as
- 5:43Kamala Harris goes on The View
- 5:45and they ask her the question,
- 5:46Hey,
- 5:46like what would you do differently
- 5:48than President Biden?
- 5:49And I saw her answer and immediately knew.
- 5:52This was gonna be the biggest thing in the campaign.
- 5:54It was like,
- 5:55oh my God,
- 5:56was that really her answer in this moment?
- 5:58It was.
- 5:59She's now saying,
- 6:00what if I could remix and rehash and redo
- 6:04that moment.
- 6:05Here she is talking about it.
- 6:06I should have answered that question better for a number of reasons.
- 6:10Part of
- 6:12the problem is I really did not fully embrace the reality.
- 6:17Of how people felt.
- 6:20And
- 6:21I
- 6:23Should have.
- 6:25I
- 6:26I,
- 6:27I felt,
- 6:28without being defensive,
- 6:29I felt
- 6:31that to answer the question would be
- 6:33to require that I criticize.
- 6:37The president,
- 6:37yes,
- 6:38Joe Biden,
- 6:39yes,
- 6:39it would have,
- 6:40it would have.
- 6:41I wasn't running against Joe Biden.
- 6:43Doesn't matter.
- 6:46I should have
- 6:47understood where people are and I should have dealt with that differently,
- 6:51which means
- 6:52deal with
- 6:53that,
- 6:54you know,
- 6:54and I also thought,
- 6:55by the way,
- 6:56the differences were so obvious,
- 6:58so I also didn't understand that,
- 7:00but I should have articulated it,
- 7:01right?
- 7:03We are of a different generation,
- 7:04different background,
- 7:05different life experience.
- 7:06So I'll tell you.
- 7:07Part of that perhaps led to,
- 7:10you know,
- 7:10one of the differences in terms of,
- 7:12as I reflect on it,
- 7:13how
- 7:14I would have done things differently.
- 7:16This woman is infuriating.
- 7:17She didn't say anything there.
- 7:18There was no answer to that at all.
- 7:20That we're,
- 7:21their ages are different,
- 7:23that's,
- 7:23that's your answer?
- 7:24That's what she tried to do,
- 7:25by the way,
- 7:25in the moment.
- 7:26I think everyone knows that I'm different than Joe Biden.
- 7:28I think people can see that.
- 7:30Yet we know you're two different human beings,
- 7:32we are aware of that.
- 7:33What would you do different as far as policy goes?
- 7:37Is there any policy difference?
- 7:38Is there any approach difference?
- 7:40Is there anything at all?
- 7:41Her answer to that was no,
- 7:43and
- 7:44still seems to be no.
- 7:45She still can't give an answer to the question.
- 7:48Fascinating,
- 7:48and you know what it.
- 7:50Yes,
- 7:51it would
- 7:52require you to be critical of President Biden
- 7:54because you're saying you would do things differently.
- 7:56Now that might not mean that you have to say
- 7:58he's a bad president or even that he's completely incoherent.
- 8:00You might not even have had
- 8:02to admit that,
- 8:03though
- 8:04it probably would have been a good idea to show that you're in touch with reality.
- 8:08However,
- 8:09as she very clearly said there,
- 8:11she did not embrace the reality of the situation,
- 8:14which is very true.
- 8:15That's the one thing that she said that was actually accurate there,
- 8:18but like,
- 8:19You have to be able to say,
- 8:20look,
- 8:20yes,
- 8:21I think President Biden did this,
- 8:22this and this wrong.
- 8:23Here's how I would have done it right.
- 8:25I think he had good motivations there,
- 8:26but I didn't like his approach on this.
- 8:28He,
- 8:28he suggested this,
- 8:29this is what I would do differently.
- 8:31Now of course,
- 8:31all of her differences probably would have been like,
- 8:33I would have disliked Jews more,
- 8:35but still,
- 8:36at least she could have said something.
- 8:39Here she is with absolutely no idea about even recent history.
- 8:44We had
- 8:45a president of the United States
- 8:48running
- 8:48for
- 8:49reelection
- 8:503.5 months from the election,
- 8:52decides not to run.
- 8:54The sitting vice president
- 8:55enters the race against a former president of
- 8:58the United States who's been running for 10 years
- 9:00with 107 days to go.
- 9:03And it ended up being
- 9:04the closest presidential election in the 21st century.
- 9:08Just dutiful nod there,
- 9:10of course,
- 9:10from Rachel Maddow,
- 9:11who doesn't even question the fact that she's saying
- 9:13it is the closest election in the 21st century.
- 9:16It is not the closest election in the 21st century.
- 9:19You might remember the 2000 Bush Gore election,
- 9:22which was decided by 537 votes.
- 9:26Uh,
- 9:26that one,
- 9:27kind of an important one as well.
- 9:30You also might remember,
- 9:31um,
- 9:32now remember the Trump election was 229,766 votes when it comes to the popular vote.
- 9:37Trump won
- 9:38by that amount.
- 9:39Of course,
- 9:40Biden actually won the popular vote in 2020,
- 9:44but by only 42,000.
- 9:46Trump actually lost the election,
- 9:51as far as closeness goes in the popular vote,
- 9:53but about 77,000 votes needed to switch hands
- 9:56to make him win.
- 9:58That was a closer election as well.
- 9:59The Bush election in 2004 versus John Kerry was also closer
- 10:03than the Kamala Harris.
- 10:05The only ones that were a bigger margin were 2008 and 2012 with Obama winning.
- 10:09Those are the only two.
- 10:10Every other election has been more
- 10:13close
- 10:14than the Kamala Harris election,
- 10:16uh,
- 10:17with Donald Trump.
- 10:18So that's just another thing you remember.
- 10:19Now we did go into that election,
- 10:20as I told you at the time,
- 10:21with about 7 swing states.
- 10:23All of them were pretty close.
- 10:24You know,
- 10:24the way that you kind of look at it,
- 10:26you want to make it look as close as possible.
- 10:28Uh,
- 10:28I've discussed it this way before.
- 10:30Uh,
- 10:30you had all these swing states.
- 10:31Well,
- 10:31Kamala Harris needed to win those blue wall states,
- 10:34and the biggest
- 10:35blowout
- 10:36of those was 2 points.
- 10:37I think it was 1.8 points in Pennsylvania,
- 10:40was the biggest blowout of those states.
- 10:41So it was a close election.
- 10:43It's,
- 10:43it's important to remember that it was way too close for comfort,
- 10:47uh,
- 10:47but
- 10:48it wasn't nearly as close as other elections that we've seen.
- 10:51She did not like losing the election.
- 10:52Apparently she was very upset about it,
- 10:55despite her terrible performance.
- 10:56Here she is discussing how that made her feel
- 10:59that night.
- 11:02I grieved
- 11:04in a way that I have not since my mother died
- 11:10and it was,
- 11:11I was,
- 11:12the pain was,
- 11:14it was not at all about losing a race.
- 11:18I knew what it was gonna mean for the,
- 11:19for the country.
- 11:20I was gonna say for the family and that's what and that's how I felt for the country.
- 11:24I knew what it was gonna mean,
- 11:27but I knew
- 11:29and I,
- 11:30and,
- 11:30and,
- 11:31and
- 11:32all I could say over and over again is my God,
- 11:34my God,
- 11:34my God.
- 11:37I mean,
- 11:37it was,
- 11:38it was a very difficult.
- 11:38I,
- 11:39I mean,
- 11:39I know everyone,
- 11:40many people experienced it in different ways.
- 11:42I mean,
- 11:42she again doesn't say anything.
- 11:43Does she ever say anything in these clips?
- 11:45She isn't saying anything there.
- 11:47She said she was sad,
- 11:49and then she said,
- 11:49I said my God,
- 11:50my God,
- 11:50my God,
- 11:51over and over again.
- 11:52Which is fascinating considering,
- 11:54uh,
- 11:55many different aspects of that particular election.
- 11:57OK,
- 11:57so,
- 11:58uh,
- 11:59she also went on and ranted about,
- 12:00this is with uh Rachel Maddow.
- 12:03Uh,
- 12:03now you,
- 12:04you
- 12:05play,
- 12:05uh,
- 12:05you make the call on this one.
- 12:07Do you think that she's calling Trump a communist dictator here?
- 12:10They're trying to say no,
- 12:11she wasn't saying he was a communist dictator.
- 12:14It's kind of how I take it,
- 12:16at least by seeing it on,
- 12:17uh,
- 12:18you know,
- 12:18in texts,
- 12:19which is where I've read it,
- 12:20um.
- 12:22Give me your call on this.
- 12:23Do you think she's actually calling Trump a communist dictator,
- 12:26or she's comparing historical error?
- 12:28A tyrant.
- 12:31We used to compare the strength of our democracy
- 12:33to commun communist dictators.
- 12:35That's what we're dealing with right now in Donald Trump.
- 12:38And these
- 12:39titans of industry
- 12:41are not speaking
- 12:43up.
- 12:43I mean,
- 12:43I just feel like that's exactly what
- 12:45she because they're in the transcript it says
- 12:47that's what we're dealing with right now,
- 12:48period.
- 12:49Donald Trump and these titans.
- 12:51When you hear her say it,
- 12:52she says that's what we're dealing with right now in Donald Trump,
- 12:55period.
- 12:56That's how she broke that sentence out,
- 12:58so I 100% think
- 12:59she was calling him a communist dictator.
- 13:01Now I am not a fan of communist dictators.
- 13:02I think they're really bad.
- 13:04If Trump were one,
- 13:05I would not like it.
- 13:06Occasionally he steps over certain lines that I don't appreciate,
- 13:09even as the President of the United States
- 13:11with maybe a little bit more executive power
- 13:13than is my particular vision of the country.
- 13:16That being said,
- 13:17there's really not much to point to him being a communist.
- 13:20It's
- 13:21it's a pretty weird,
- 13:23I mean,
- 13:24I don't remember this much deregulation in Stalin's era.
- 13:28Uh,
- 13:29really,
- 13:29really strange accusation.
- 13:30Now if your idea is I'm calling him a communist dictator because
- 13:34Trump is bad and communism is bad,
- 13:37well,
- 13:37I can at least be a little bit excited that you've been able to wake up to that one,
- 13:41cause uh it seems like you've been trying to push that one through for a while.
- 13:44Uh,
- 13:44finally,
- 13:45this is my,
- 13:46maybe my favorite moment of this fledgling tour.
- 13:49Harris says Buttigieg was her first choice for running mate.
- 13:51You might say,
- 13:52OK,
- 13:52well,
- 13:53you know,
- 13:53she's kind of
- 13:54trying to bail herself out of the Tim Walls choice.
- 13:57Everybody knows that was one of the dumbest things that
- 13:59anyone has ever done in the history of human beings,
- 14:01and
- 14:01I would.
- 14:02Generally agree with that analysis,
- 14:04uh,
- 14:04but
- 14:05her basic answer for the Mayor Pete thing was to say,
- 14:08well,
- 14:08I didn't put him on the ticket because he was gay,
- 14:10and I was afraid
- 14:11all the Americans,
- 14:12they're all racists and homophobes,
- 14:13and they wouldn't elect him
- 14:15because he was gay.
- 14:17Um,
- 14:17then she went on Rachel Maddow's show,
- 14:20who is gay,
- 14:21and she had to answer to that,
- 14:23and again,
- 14:24I don't think she says one actual thing here,
- 14:26but watch.
- 14:27Um,
- 14:29I,
- 14:29I,
- 14:29I guess what,
- 14:31I guess I'd ask you to just elaborate on that a little bit.
- 14:33It's hard to hear,
- 14:35um,
- 14:35with you running as,
- 14:37you know,
- 14:37you're the first woman elected vice president.
- 14:39You're a black woman and a South Asian woman,
- 14:41uh,
- 14:41elected to that high.
- 14:42Office very nearly elected president
- 14:45to say that he couldn't be on the ticket
- 14:46effectively because he was gay it's hard to hear.
- 14:48No,
- 14:48no,
- 14:48no,
- 14:49that's not what I said that that's
- 14:51that he couldn't be on the ticket because he is gay.
- 14:54My point
- 14:56as I write in the book is
- 14:58that.
- 15:00I was clear that
- 15:02in 107 days in one of the most
- 15:06hotly contested elections for President of the United States against
- 15:10someone
- 15:11like Donald Trump who knows no floor.
- 15:15To be a black woman running for president of the United States
- 15:19and as a vice presidential running mate,
- 15:23a gay man.
- 15:26With the stakes being so high,
- 15:28It made me very sad,
- 15:30but I also realized it would be a real risk,
- 15:34right?
- 15:34So you're just backing up no matter
- 15:37how,
- 15:37you know,
- 15:37I've been an advocate and an ally of the LGBT community my entire life.
- 15:43It wasn't about,
- 15:44it wasn't about,
- 15:45yeah,
- 15:45right,
- 15:45so it wasn't about any,
- 15:46any prejudice on my part,
- 15:48but
- 15:50We had such a short,
- 15:51we had such a short period of time.
- 15:56And the stakes were so high.
- 15:57See,
- 15:58I'm not saying I didn't put him on the ticket because he's gay.
- 16:00I'm saying I did put him on the ticket because the stakes were too high
- 16:03for me to allow a gay person on the ticket.
- 16:06That's,
- 16:06that's the clarification by Kamala.
- 16:09I maintain this,
- 16:10by the way,
- 16:11that the only person I've ever heard of in my entire life
- 16:16to admit
- 16:17that they did not hire a person because they were gay
- 16:21is Kamala Harris.
- 16:23Now I understand
- 16:25that many others have probably done so,
- 16:28but in reality,
- 16:29most people don't admit that.
- 16:30She just came out and wrote a book about how she didn't pick him because he was gay.
- 16:34Now she says it's not her prejudice,
- 16:35she says it's her prejudice
- 16:37about how prejudiced the rest of the country is,
- 16:40which in some ways is actually worse,
- 16:42I think,
- 16:43because you're not,
- 16:44it's not that it's one person who's a homophobe.
- 16:47You're saying,
- 16:48you know,
- 16:4880.
- 16:49100 million people are homophobes,
- 16:51so I think it's actually worse,
- 16:52but that's her attempt to sell you this book.
- 16:54You're gonna buy it?
- 16:56107 days in in stores now or soon.
- 17:00I don't really know.
- 17:01I haven't looked it up yet,
- 17:02but
- 17:03check out the book and if you do read it,
- 17:05please tell me
- 17:06more about what's in it because I can't bring myself to,
- 17:09to open it.
- 17:17If you're waking up feeling groggy or dragging through the day,
- 17:20or just stuck in a cycle of bad sleep,
- 17:21first you could try to maybe read Kamala's book,
- 17:23because that would probably definitely put you to sleep,
- 17:25but I would say there's a better way.

- 18:40head writer and researcher for Glenn Beck.
- 18:42Um,
- 18:42Jason,
- 18:43thanks for coming on the program.
- 18:44We had some breaking news,
- 18:45uh,
- 18:45earlier this morning,
- 18:46right before the radio show started,
- 18:47of a shooting here in Dallas at an ICE facility.
- 18:50It was interesting to see.
- 18:52The news break
- 18:54um
- 18:55because you had the initial thought of it's a nice facility,
- 18:57obviously,
- 18:58the first thought is going to be a left wing
- 19:01shooter.
- 19:02Then there was a
- 19:03big influx of people saying no,
- 19:06it was,
- 19:07it was.
- 19:07People who were detainees being shot,
- 19:10that means it was a right wing shooter.
- 19:12And then we find out from the police and FBI
- 19:16kind of the same story that we thought of at the beginning.
- 19:18Um,
- 19:19is that,
- 19:19is that the way you followed the story as well?
- 19:21Yeah,
- 19:22um.
- 19:23And I will say,
- 19:24you know,
- 19:24I was listening to you guys talk about it this morning on radio,
- 19:27and,
- 19:27uh,
- 19:27I think you guys,
- 19:28uh,
- 19:28uh,
- 19:28you know,
- 19:29you,
- 19:29you very much took the right approach to it because we just don't really,
- 19:32we didn't have all the information,
- 19:35what's,
- 19:35it's sad to say that most of these are going in the direction of.
- 19:38Where we initially think they're going,
- 19:40which is some kind of,
- 19:41you know,
- 19:41left wing attack,
- 19:43uh,
- 19:43that is definitely
- 19:44that that's the norm over the past few months.
- 19:46Sure seems like it
- 19:47sure seems like it,
- 19:48but
- 19:48I mean these
- 19:50we're entering very dangerous times
- 19:53where
- 19:54these attacks are happening
- 19:56primarily from the left lately.
- 19:58But I feel like
- 20:00they're,
- 20:00you know,
- 20:01part of the plan that they're going for is to kind of induce this Bubba effect
- 20:06response,
- 20:07and that's what they're goading
- 20:08people
- 20:09that
- 20:10would be considered on the right into these,
- 20:12you know,
- 20:13retaliations.
- 20:14Yeah,
- 20:14explain that because the Bubba effect is
- 20:15something Glenn's talked about quite a bit,
- 20:16but it's,
- 20:17it's basically antagonizing,
- 20:19I eventually the right
- 20:22into some sort of horrible response to these things,
- 20:24right?
- 20:24Yeah,
- 20:24so the bubba effect is,
- 20:25you know,
- 20:26and.
- 20:27You can understand it is what makes it so dangerous,
- 20:31but
- 20:32we've seen,
- 20:33you know,
- 20:33the imbalance in the justice system happen over the past,
- 20:36you know,
- 20:36you know,
- 20:37decade or whatever that's been going on.
- 20:39We see
- 20:40radical left wing rioters be called peaceful protesters,
- 20:44and nothing ends up happening with it.
- 20:46They'll go to jail.
- 20:48Uh,
- 20:49you'll see politicians advocate on social media for them,
- 20:52you know,
- 20:52for defense funds to get them out of jail.
- 20:55We're like,
- 20:55wait a minute,
- 20:55they just burned down a car dealership.
- 20:57Are you?
- 20:57Kidding me,
- 20:58and you're talking about this.
- 21:00We people elected you into office.
- 21:02They're,
- 21:02you know,
- 21:02it's a very top down,
- 21:04bottom up,
- 21:04you know,
- 21:04re,
- 21:05you know,
- 21:05uh,
- 21:06thing that's going on right now.
- 21:07But though,
- 21:08in the bubba effect you get just
- 21:10regular people that are like,
- 21:11wait a minute,
- 21:12if nothing is gonna happen,
- 21:14if law and order is not going to happen,
- 21:16then it is my duty
- 21:17to therefore take up,
- 21:19you know,
- 21:20this duty and then seek justice any way I can think of.
- 21:23And hopefully we don't get to that point,
- 21:24hopefully
- 21:25we're not at it now.
- 21:27This is what's really we might,
- 21:29it might cross that threshold.
- 21:31You never know when a crazy person from either side is going to do something,
- 21:34but we are seeing continual
- 21:36left wing violence going on right now,
- 21:39and a lot of it,
- 21:40I think,
- 21:40organized,
- 21:40right?
- 21:41Like these are organized around these Antifa groups.
- 21:43They're talking about,
- 21:44you know,
- 21:44making Antifa,
- 21:45I know Trump has already signed this on making Antifa a terrorist group.
- 21:49Is this the right approach to try to take out these organizations?
- 21:51Absolutely.
- 21:52I think that I,
- 21:53I,
- 21:54I haven't read in depth the full executive order.
- 21:57Was yesterday,
- 21:58um,
- 21:59but I remember looking at that when,
- 22:00when,
- 22:01when the president first mentioned it,
- 22:02and there did need to be some,
- 22:04I guess,
- 22:05changes is the way he in the way they would write the executive order.
- 22:07So
- 22:08primarily they would have to make changes to make it,
- 22:10you know,
- 22:11legal for them to go after,
- 22:13um,
- 22:14uh,
- 22:15like the funding apparatuses of,
- 22:16of many of these organizations,
- 22:17but it opens up a brand,
- 22:19a whole another web of ways to
- 22:21not only,
- 22:21uh,
- 22:22go after the people that do these attacks,
- 22:24but the people,
- 22:25you know,
- 22:25one step,
- 22:26you know,
- 22:26back behind them,
- 22:27the people.
- 22:27You know,
- 22:27some facilitators,
- 22:28then one step back there.
- 22:30What money?
- 22:32Where has it been coming from?
- 22:33Uh,
- 22:34what was it originally designed for,
- 22:36uh,
- 22:36you know,
- 22:36like you,
- 22:37you can,
- 22:37you,
- 22:37you've seen some of these like,
- 22:38you know,
- 22:38funding,
- 22:39you know,
- 22:39like kind of like Data Republican where they show all this like funding webs,
- 22:43uh,
- 22:43this,
- 22:43this is out there.
- 22:44We've allowed it for far too long.
- 22:46Um,
- 22:47I was just looking today on,
- 22:48on just,
- 22:49just,
- 22:49uh,
- 22:50you know,
- 22:50just kind of
- 22:51conceptualize how bad this is.
- 22:53Um,
- 22:54Antifa was,
- 22:55you know,
- 22:55they've been publishing,
- 22:56they're not even afraid.
- 22:57It publishing
- 22:58all of these instructions on how to what they call lead a resistance.
- 23:02What they're talking about is an insurrection.
- 23:05Um,
- 23:05if you even,
- 23:06you know,
- 23:07whisper the word insurrection if you were on the right,
- 23:09you know,
- 23:10or,
- 23:10or do something stupid like a stand somewhere with a sign
- 23:14that might have even been,
- 23:15you know,
- 23:16vaguely conceived as being,
- 23:18you know,
- 23:18for
- 23:19the,
- 23:19you know,
- 23:20the rally that led to the storming of the Capitol on January 6th,
- 23:23then you would probably get the shock and awe effect
- 23:25and you would have your house raided by the FBI.
- 23:28Well,
- 23:28these people are
- 23:29actually doing an insurrection.
- 23:31They're they're publishing
- 23:33instructions on how to create no go zones.
- 23:37This is a direct quote from from one of their pamphlets.
- 23:39Create no go zones for federal government law enforcement.
- 23:43What they're talking about is doing violence so that
- 23:45they feel scared to go into certain areas.
- 23:47This is absolutely an insurrection.
- 23:50They are not scared to publish this
- 23:53information because no one's held them accountable
- 23:55and
- 23:56people
- 23:57obviously are there's
- 23:59obviously cash going towards going towards these people in some way.
- 24:04I,
- 24:04I don't know if it's organized and you know,
- 24:06huge donors,
- 24:07you know,
- 24:07like,
- 24:07you know,
- 24:08the usual suspects,
- 24:09some of their money,
- 24:10or if it's small people,
- 24:11just I don't know,
- 24:12but it all has to be stopped,
- 24:14and this is a major problem right now because
- 24:16we've looked at,
- 24:17there's this attack.
- 24:18Um,
- 24:19that happened,
- 24:19we'll get more information on it.
- 24:21Uh,
- 24:21another sniper attack,
- 24:23um,
- 24:24but we're also another,
- 24:25uh,
- 24:25sniper attack at an ICE facility was that a
- 24:27few months ago down Alvarado again here in Texas,
- 24:30another
- 24:31Antifa style cell,
- 24:34um,
- 24:34someone had ties to trans ideology as well,
- 24:36right?
- 24:36One did,
- 24:37yeah,
- 24:37Tratifa,
- 24:38Tratifa,
- 24:39which is a great,
- 24:39I mean,
- 24:40it's a great name.
- 24:40It is,
- 24:41it's a great name.
- 24:42Follow,
- 24:42follow Andyn from post-millennial,
- 24:44um,
- 24:44he's great.
- 24:45He is making the case right now on X that you know,
- 24:48yeah,
- 24:48absolutely these people are terror organizations.
- 24:50He's just laying it all out.
- 24:52I mean the,
- 24:52the case seems very,
- 24:53very clear,
- 24:54but the thing that worries me is about I was looking at the Alvarado ICE attack
- 24:58and they're evolving how they do these things.
- 25:01They're taking more like military style attacks like ambush style attacks,
- 25:05and these are not advanced level.
- 25:07Like you don't have to be like special forces to.
- 25:09Know these attacks I mean any basic
- 25:11military person that went through boot camp knows these kinds of attacks,
- 25:15and one of the,
- 25:15the alleged shooter,
- 25:17I think was a marine.
- 25:18I used to be a Marine,
- 25:19um,
- 25:20they're incorporating a lot of this.
- 25:22They're elevating and escalating their tactics,
- 25:25and now we're seeing follow on that are very,
- 25:27very similar.
- 25:28I mean,
- 25:29I,
- 25:29I was
- 25:30shocked that I heard that the person actually.
- 25:33Took his own,
- 25:33took their own life after this most recent attack this morning,
- 25:37because usually when you do like a sniper attack or something like that
- 25:40you intend to try and get away,
- 25:42right?
- 25:42Yeah,
- 25:43you're far enough away that you have an escape route.
- 25:45We even saw that of course in Utah.
- 25:47The guy actually did get away for quite some time,
- 25:49planned on it,
- 25:50he said,
- 25:50he said in that one with the Charlie Kirk assassination,
- 25:52he planned on
- 25:53taking that,
- 25:54I think he said something that he would tell maybe his relatives.
- 25:57You know,
- 25:58when he's on his deathbed,
- 25:59that,
- 25:59that,
- 25:59that,
- 25:59that's,
- 26:00he wanted,
- 26:00he wanted to get away with it that far
- 26:03and not say anything.
- 26:03Yeah,
- 26:04um,
- 26:05uh,
- 26:05by the way,
- 26:05we have the photo of the,
- 26:06uh,
- 26:07the bullet casings.
- 26:08This is,
- 26:08uh,
- 26:08one of the big pieces of evidence that has come out from Kash Patel
- 26:11specifically,
- 26:12and they said anti-ICE slogans.
- 26:14Actually,
- 26:14the word anti-ICE is written on the bullet,
- 26:18uh,
- 26:18so that is what,
- 26:19uh,
- 26:19at least part of what they found.
- 26:21Uh,
- 26:21and that is where we are right now in that investigation.
- 26:24I want to switch gears in the last two minutes here before we go
- 26:26of this other story that's not making as much news.
- 26:28I made the case yesterday,
- 26:29it's a much bigger news story than Jimmy Kimmel,
- 26:31uh,
- 26:31which is this bizarre communications network in New York City.
- 26:37That was uncovered by agents
- 26:41that could theoretically have
- 26:43taken down the New York City communications system.
- 26:46Of course this is all revolving around the UN,
- 26:49at least timeline wise.
- 26:50We don't know if it was specifically about the UN.
- 26:51Can you kind of
- 26:53what should we know about the story?
- 26:54Well,
- 26:55for one,
- 26:56our adversaries,
- 26:57the more and more technologically we get,
- 26:59you know,
- 27:00our enemies are finding ways to,
- 27:03you know,
- 27:04probe the vulnerabilities of that.
- 27:06There's so many different ways that they can attack us and and harm us
- 27:10and
- 27:10for far too long we've been willing to let in people that we don't
- 27:15even into this country that we have no idea who who they even are.
- 27:18Back in the old days,
- 27:19back like in the Cold War,
- 27:21every time someone that came in that we even suspected might have ties to
- 27:24like any kind of foreign intelligence service or someone that wanted to harm us,
- 27:27they were instantly identified when they came
- 27:29across the border or even before that when
- 27:30they got on a plane to to come over to the United States or however.
- 27:35And they were immediately tracked by like the FBI
- 27:37and if there was a facility like this,
- 27:40they would instantly know where it was at they would try to take advantage of it.
- 27:43They,
- 27:43they would defeat it before they could even
- 27:45these things were managed.
- 27:46Nowadays this is almost impossible to do,
- 27:49um.
- 27:50I don't know who was involved with this,
- 27:53you know,
- 27:53with this potential attack.
- 27:55I mean,
- 27:55because there's reporting that it might,
- 27:56it was tied to China.
- 27:58Could have been,
- 27:59but how many Chinese nationals have gone across
- 28:02our southern border in the past 8 years?
- 28:05Who
- 28:06knows?
- 28:07We're doing things with in,
- 28:08in this era,
- 28:10these kinds of attacks,
- 28:11uh,
- 28:12there's a whole new era of asymmetrical warfare that's going on.
- 28:14Right now
- 28:15you don't have to be an incredibly capable
- 28:18nation like China,
- 28:19like Russia
- 28:20to pull off a major attack like that because it's,
- 28:23it's relatively,
- 28:23I mean,
- 28:24you,
- 28:24there's a lot of sophistication involved,
- 28:26but you can gather up enough SIM cards and routers
- 28:29and all this stuff to perform an attack like this,
- 28:31and you can be a Venezuela.
- 28:33A lot of stuff going on with Venezuela right now,
- 28:36um,
- 28:36they have a lot of,
- 28:37uh.
- 28:39Actually designated terror operatives within the United States,
- 28:43uh,
- 28:44uh,
- 28:44Trendiagua group,
- 28:46how many of them are still in the country?
- 28:47I mean,
- 28:48and,
- 28:48and by the way,
- 28:49Venezuela learned espionage
- 28:52from the Cubans.
- 28:52The Cubans learned it from the KGB,
- 28:55very,
- 28:55very capable.
- 28:56These are the kind of enemies that we're looking at right now.
- 28:58They can attack us with drones.
- 28:59They can attack us all sorts of ways.
- 29:02What
- 29:03is awful about what the Biden administration did to our country
- 29:07in the name of politics,
- 29:09in the name of trying to win over some bleeding heart,
- 29:12uh,
- 29:12you know,
- 29:13you know,
- 29:14sentiments,
- 29:15uh,
- 29:16which they don't give a crap about immigrants,
- 29:18they don't care.
- 29:19You need to look at everything in this country,
- 29:21everything politically,
- 29:22and this is really on all sides,
- 29:23but,
- 29:24but,
- 29:24but mostly we're looking at,
- 29:25you know,
- 29:25the last 4 years of the,
- 29:27of the country,
- 29:28but everything they do,
- 29:29everything they say they care about.
- 29:30Erase that from your mind and think of it in terms of this lens.
- 29:34How does them making this case
- 29:36give them more control and power?
- 29:38That's what it's all about.
- 29:40Nothing about feelings.
- 29:41Nothing about human rights.
- 29:42They don't,
- 29:43they could give a crap about human rights.
- 29:45What gives them more power and control?
- 29:47Is it an electorate?
- 29:48Is that what they want?
- 29:49Or is it just,
- 29:50you know,
- 29:50winning over,
- 29:51uh,
- 29:51a demographic of,
- 29:53you know,
- 29:5418 to 49 year old white women in the United States?
- 29:57Always that,
- 29:57but that's,
- 29:58that's,
- 29:58that's the danger that they've done to this country.
- 30:00That's what they've set us up for these kinds of attacks.
- 30:02It's gonna be a long road to harden our country before we can even feel safe again.
- 30:06I think it's just gonna take a while.
- 30:07Yeah,
- 30:07it feels like we're just in a chaotic period.
- 30:09Uh,
- 30:10Jason Buttrell,
- 30:10head writer,
- 30:11researcher for Glenn Beck,
- 30:13Jason,
- 30:13thanks for coming on.
- 30:14Appreciate it.
- 30:14You bet.
- 30:24And I was thinking about this Jimmy Kimmel thing,
- 30:26and I was just like,
- 30:26I just can't,
- 30:27I,
- 30:27I can't,
- 30:28I just wanna rant about it constantly because it's driving me
- 30:31insane.
- 30:31And I thought,
- 30:32you know who might,
- 30:33might have something to say
- 30:35about government infringement on free speech and the First Amendment.
- 30:39Steve Baker,
- 30:40investigative journalist over here on Blaze News,
- 30:42he's an opinion contributor as well.
- 30:44Steve,
- 30:45I mean,
- 30:45do you have any opinions on free speech and the government interaction?
- 30:48None whatsoever.
- 30:49No,
- 30:49no,
- 30:50no,
- 30:50I don't even know why you had me on today.
- 30:51All right,
- 30:52thanks for joining us.
- 30:52I'm Steve Brige.
- 30:53No,
- 30:54Steve,
- 30:54I mean you.
- 30:56What's frustrating me,
- 30:57I think more than anything,
- 30:58is this standard being set by all these commentators.
- 31:01Chris Hayes said it,
- 31:01I brought it up 1000 times.
- 31:03And then last night Jimmy Kimmel,
- 31:04uh,
- 31:05on,
- 31:05uh,
- 31:06actually he was on maybe Seth Meyers,
- 31:08one of the other late night shows.
- 31:09Jake Tapper goes on and he says the exact same thing.
- 31:11Quote,
- 31:12It was pretty much the most direct infringement by the
- 31:14government on free speech that I've seen in my lifetime.
- 31:17The standard they are setting as if they've completely
- 31:20ignored everything that's happened over the last decade.
- 31:24You are a direct example
- 31:26of the government
- 31:27going after someone on a First Amendment violation.
- 31:31That's right of free speech and freedom of the press.
- 31:33Well,
- 31:34and it began
- 31:35for me before January 6th because I was
- 31:38Completely,
- 31:40uh,
- 31:40obliterated uh by,
- 31:42you know,
- 31:42these de-platformers on social media
- 31:44back when I was just a blogger,
- 31:46you know,
- 31:47and
- 31:47I was,
- 31:48uh,
- 31:48I had tens of thousands of followers on my blog,
- 31:50subscribers,
- 31:51and they just took me down because
- 31:54I didn't follow the COVID narrative,
- 31:57so they were already attacking me in,
- 31:58in 2000.
- 32:00Uh,
- 32:00so by the time we got to January 6th,
- 32:02and this is the most important thing about January 6th,
- 32:04regardless of what anybody thinks about what I was doing that day,
- 32:07whether I was just a glorified trespasser or whether I was an insurrectionist,
- 32:11Ryan Riley from NBC News,
- 32:13he tweeted out the next day after my arrest,
- 32:15he said.
- 32:17If not for the words that Mr.
- 32:19Baker said before he got to the Capitol
- 32:21and after he left the Capitol,
- 32:23this case
- 32:24most surely would not have been brought,
- 32:26quote unquote.
- 32:27And that's,
- 32:28I mean,
- 32:28obviously true.
- 32:29You were just standing there.
- 32:30I mean,
- 32:30you,
- 32:31you,
- 32:31you're being,
- 32:31uh,
- 32:32Uh,
- 32:32you're being generous here saying if you think I'm an insurrectionist,
- 32:35there's zero evidence you did anything like that.
- 32:38You're on video the entire time
- 32:40on your phone and taking video and,
- 32:42and writing.
- 32:43Like that's all you were doing.
- 32:44And then in my court hearing,
- 32:46uh,
- 32:46because,
- 32:46you know,
- 32:47I,
- 32:47I refused to go through the shaming process of the trial.
- 32:51And interestingly,
- 32:52on a side note,
- 32:52and we haven't even talked about this,
- 32:54is 3 days before my November 12th
- 32:57court hearing in 2024.
- 32:59Um,
- 33:00Matt Peterson,
- 33:01our editor in chief here at The Blaze,
- 33:03got a
- 33:04private message from Charlie Kirk,
- 33:07and he,
- 33:07because he was on the transition team,
- 33:10the president,
- 33:11and he sent a note,
- 33:12said my,
- 33:12you know,
- 33:13Matt said,
- 33:14my guy talking about me is
- 33:15facing the judge on,
- 33:16on Tuesday,
- 33:18and
- 33:18Charlie said.
- 33:20It's already done.
- 33:21Full pardon.
- 33:23I have the screenshot.
- 33:24I will keep it with me the rest of my life.
- 33:26Yeah,
- 33:26yeah,
- 33:26no,
- 33:26he's involved in that.
- 33:27Yeah,
- 33:28yeah.
- 33:28And so I was able to go into that situation with full confidence that it,
- 33:32that I knew what was coming.
- 33:33But interesting,
- 33:34interestingly,
- 33:34the judge knew what was coming as well
- 33:37because.
- 33:37After everything was said and done,
- 33:39he looked at the clerk and he says,
- 33:40OK,
- 33:41when is Mr.
- 33:41Baker's sentencing hearing gonna be?
- 33:43And she types it up
- 33:44and she says,
- 33:44it's gonna be on,
- 33:46um,
- 33:46March 6th at 9 or 10:30 a.m.
- 33:50and he goes,
- 33:50OK,
- 33:50Mr.
- 33:51Baker,
- 33:51since
- 33:52I'm probably not going to see you in March.
- 33:55He knew the pardons were coming as well,
- 33:58and he said,
- 33:59um,
- 34:00I'm going to,
- 34:00and he used an interesting word,
- 34:01he said,
- 34:02I'm going to therefore
- 34:03hazard to deliver to you
- 34:05my normal remarks that I would give during a sentencing hearing
- 34:09and,
- 34:09and so you didn't ask for that,
- 34:11right,
- 34:11right,
- 34:12and I have the transcript and,
- 34:14and he spent the next 7 or 8 minutes dressing me down.
- 34:18100% for my journalism
- 34:22post January 6th
- 34:24rather than
- 34:25what I did that day.
- 34:27Never,
- 34:27never criticize one single action of mine
- 34:30on the day at the Capitol.
- 34:32Because
- 34:32he's seen the videos,
- 34:33he knew that I didn't do anything.
- 34:35He criticized there.
- 34:36There's,
- 34:36you weren't even the only,
- 34:38if you were the only journalist who went in there and took video,
- 34:40then maybe you could say,
- 34:41well,
- 34:42you shouldn't even have crossed in as a journalism,
- 34:43a journalist.
- 34:44There were
- 34:45New York Times journalists there,
- 34:46there were all sorts of journalists there,
- 34:47they were inside,
- 34:48they were doing the same thing you were doing.
- 34:50It was completely ridiculous from the beginning.
- 34:52And now to see this,
- 34:53where all of a sudden,
- 34:55the left is just like,
- 34:55oh gosh,
- 34:56we're big free speech warriors.
- 34:58All of a sudden,
- 34:59in this one case,
- 35:00with this one guy who was suspended for 4 days with pay.
- 35:06This guy
- 35:07who is on broadcast,
- 35:08and again I can't stand the FCC.
- 35:11I wish it was just go away.
- 35:12My guess is you feel the same way on that one.
- 35:15I have to deal with this throughout my entire career.
- 35:17I don't want the FCC,
- 35:18but this is the one area of speech
- 35:21where they do have this
- 35:22carved out right,
- 35:23at least with our current understanding of the First Amendment,
- 35:26where they can do something about this,
- 35:28or at least
- 35:29have some pressure on these agencies and these stations.
- 35:33When they were going
- 35:35to social media,
- 35:36they were going to podcasts,
- 35:37they were we just found out they were going to YouTube,
- 35:39the Biden administration,
- 35:40and banning specific speech and specific
- 35:43uh
- 35:44creators.
- 35:45This happened to you,
- 35:46it happened to Douglas Mackey.
- 35:47We talked to him yesterday.
- 35:48This has happened to Glenn Beck.
- 35:49This has happened
- 35:50all over the,
- 35:51it happened to people who are currently,
- 35:52RFK Junior is currently in the government.
- 35:54It happened to him.
- 35:55This is insanity.
- 35:57That they're asking us to just deny the fact that the last decade happened.
- 36:01Exactly.
- 36:01You know,
- 36:02I,
- 36:02I go back just to the Twitter files.
- 36:04That's all you need to go back to.
- 36:05And at one point we learned in the Twitter files and all those revelations
- 36:10is that Twitter itself
- 36:12had up to maybe even more,
- 36:14100
- 36:16FBI
- 36:17and CIA
- 36:19agents
- 36:20officing
- 36:21in the Twitter building in San Francisco
- 36:24for this.
- 36:25sole purpose of doing nothing
- 36:27but looking for unacceptable speech
- 36:30that needed to be pulled down
- 36:31and then you had Jen Psaki,
- 36:34you know,
- 36:34going on the air
- 36:35and answering a question about,
- 36:37you know,
- 36:37the.
- 36:39Uh,
- 36:40the,
- 36:40the improper narratives that were on YouTube and on the internet and on Facebook,
- 36:45and she said,
- 36:45oh,
- 36:45yes,
- 36:46well,
- 36:46we just,
- 36:46uh,
- 36:46had a call with,
- 36:47uh,
- 36:48you know,
- 36:48Facebook this morning and we're reporting to them
- 36:51the accounts that we think are in violation or,
- 36:53or,
- 36:53you know,
- 36:53using it,
- 36:55it said it with her outside
- 36:56voice
- 36:57in the press,
- 36:58you know,
- 36:58in the press conference
- 36:59there at the White House,
- 37:00and it's like they,
- 37:01they forgot all of that.
- 37:03How?
- 37:04How could it possibly be?
- 37:05It's,
- 37:06it's just.
- 37:07It's mind boggling,
- 37:09and we're supposed to sit here and act like this is a big deal.
- 37:11Like I,
- 37:12like,
- 37:12I,
- 37:13I have,
- 37:14I,
- 37:14and I've said this before,
- 37:15I,
- 37:15I favor a sort of a,
- 37:17you know,
- 37:17a slap and hug
- 37:19approach.
- 37:20My version of that is
- 37:22you do stuff like this,
- 37:23when they do stuff like this and they say we're gonna go after Kimmel,
- 37:26or,
- 37:26or,
- 37:26you know,
- 37:26Brendan Carr makes comments saying we might go after Kimmel,
- 37:29whatever the pressure they feel is.
- 37:31If that happens,
- 37:32we pair it with the hug and we say,
- 37:34you know what,
- 37:35here's legislation that says the FCC goes away completely.
- 37:38Are you guys on board with us on this?
- 37:39And of course they're not going to be because what they actually
- 37:42want is this power for themselves when they get into office.
- 37:46They don't care about censorship.
- 37:49They just don't want their voices censored.
- 37:51And I went and watched Kimmel's.
- 37:54Apologetic non-apology,
- 37:56you know,
- 37:57this morning so I,
- 37:58so that I could
- 37:59know what he said last night because otherwise I'd never watch his show or
- 38:03Colbert or anybody anymore,
- 38:04you know,
- 38:04since,
- 38:05since
- 38:05Carson and Letterman are gone,
- 38:07what is there,
- 38:08you know,
- 38:08and,
- 38:09and so.
- 38:10What they,
- 38:11what they don't understand,
- 38:12what they don't get is that you can't go on the air.
- 38:15And,
- 38:15and of course he was not critical of Charlie in his statement.
- 38:18He lied.
- 38:19He lied about it.
- 38:20He lied about the source and the,
- 38:22the background of the killer.
- 38:23And what's going to happen in a situation like that is that
- 38:26all of these string of ABC affiliate stations who are not owned by Disney
- 38:31that happen to have all of their stations in the Bible Belt
- 38:35are gonna go,
- 38:36we're not gonna.
- 38:36Carry you anymore.
- 38:37And besides,
- 38:38you're losing us money
- 38:39anyway.
- 38:40We can't sell ads for you because your ratings suck,
- 38:43you know,
- 38:43when you're like 750th in the rating,
- 38:46uh,
- 38:46it's,
- 38:47it's,
- 38:47it's not a,
- 38:48that's not a great statement for your
- 38:50show and who you are.
- 38:51And then the,
- 38:52the model itself is,
- 38:53is a dinosaur anyway.
- 38:55He's got hundreds of employees for that one show,
- 38:57probably dozens of writers
- 38:59that can't figure out how to write a joke
- 39:02and.
- 39:02With those hundreds of employees,
- 39:04compare that
- 39:05to the Rogans,
- 39:06to the Glenn Becks,
- 39:07to the,
- 39:08to the newer models,
- 39:09and
- 39:10it doesn't work anymore.
- 39:11You know,
- 39:12like an approach like a Rogan or a Theo Vaughn
- 39:14or somebody like that that you'd put in that slot,
- 39:16Dave Landau,
- 39:17you know,
- 39:17that would make a lot of sense for one of these networks.
- 39:20It would be much cheaper and they'd probably make tons of money.
- 39:22It's not like you can't have someone in that slot being funny.
- 39:25It's just the way they're doing it.
- 39:27I watched the Kimmel thing last night.
- 39:28Night,
- 39:28and let me get your comments on just
- 39:31on this part.
- 39:32I felt,
- 39:33first of all,
- 39:34uh,
- 39:34he did lie in the first statement,
- 39:36and I believe he lied about his lie last night.
- 39:39He said,
- 39:40uh,
- 39:40well,
- 39:40I wasn't trying to put blame on either side,
- 39:42which is not true.
- 39:43And then he lied again saying we don't know which side of this person was against.
- 39:47We do,
- 39:48we have plenty of information.
- 39:49If you're gonna take a gander,
- 39:51you could,
- 39:51you could know.
- 39:52I did feel though,
- 39:53and I don't know,
- 39:53maybe he just fooled me.
- 39:55I did feel that his
- 39:57emotion around
- 39:58Charlie Kirk dying,
- 40:00it felt real to me.
- 40:02Um,
- 40:02he,
- 40:02it happened to him twice.
- 40:03He talked about Erica as well.
- 40:06I don't know.
- 40:07What was your sense of that?
- 40:08Well,
- 40:08when I saw it,
- 40:09my first reaction was
- 40:11that was real.
- 40:12And then my,
- 40:13you know,
- 40:14my lizard brain kicked in,
- 40:16and I wanted to,
- 40:17I was like,
- 40:17no,
- 40:18this has gotta be a fake.
- 40:19He's an actor anyway,
- 40:21but it did seem.
- 40:22It did seem real,
- 40:23but then it's like,
- 40:24OK,
- 40:24now I've got to get past my emotions
- 40:26and I've got to double down,
- 40:27and then I'm gonna triple down on it
- 40:29and I'm gonna lie again.
- 40:30I,
- 40:30I thought that was the problem with it.
- 40:31Like I,
- 40:32I think,
- 40:32I think he probably is a guy who doesn't want people murdered and for speaking out.
- 40:36He probably,
- 40:37I'm sure he's not that guy,
- 40:38um,
- 40:38but I,
- 40:39he was unable to bring himself to say,
- 40:41look,
- 40:42I was wrong.
- 40:43I,
- 40:43I was,
- 40:43I lied about this.
- 40:44He was unable to bring himself to even a moment of,
- 40:47of just not being silly and,
- 40:49and.
- 40:49And self-aggrandizing about his whole incident.
- 40:53So it was,
- 40:53I was not impressed by the overall performance,
- 40:55but
- 40:56maybe there's a bit of humanity there,
- 40:57I don't know.
- 40:58Uh,
- 40:58Steve Baker,
- 40:59investigative journalist and Blaze News opinion contributor,
- 41:01I'm,

- 41:07Any day,
- 41:07OK.

- 41:09thanks so much.
- 41:09Appreciate it.
- 41:10Thanks.
- 41:17Most of us have big backup plans for the big stuff,
- 41:21right?
- 41:22An extra flashlight in the drawer,
- 41:23a spare tire in the trunk,
- 41:24food in the pantry,
- 41:25just in case,
- 41:26right?
- 41:27But when it comes to medicine,
- 41:29we often are caught off guard.
- 41:30Pharmacies can be delayed,
- 41:32shelves can be cleared out overnight,
- 41:34and supply chains break down more often than we'd like to admit.

- 42:24OK,
- 42:25so here's what happened.
- 42:27A shocking development,
- 42:28one of the most unpredictable things possible.
- 42:30Yes,
- 42:31Greta Tenberg and her flotilla is having problems,
- 42:35you see.
- 42:37She was there to fight for Gaza,
- 42:39for the Palestinian free Palestine,
- 42:40as you know.
- 42:42The problem is they decided to add someone who was queer
- 42:46to the flotilla,
- 42:47and you're going to be very surprised to hear the Free Palestine
- 42:52activists that were already involved in the flotilla did not take kindly to that.
- 42:56A choppy seas,
- 42:57Greta Tunberg's flotilla mutinies after the queer activist joins cause.
- 43:02Uh,
- 43:02one person resigned,
- 43:03and then we got this comment as well from others.
- 43:06Palestine is the issue of Muslims first and foremost and
- 43:08cannot be separated from its spiritual and religious dimension.
- 43:11So why do you involve suspicious activists in it who serve other
- 43:15agendas that do not concern us and have no relation to Gaza,
- 43:18such as homosexuals?
- 43:21What do we hear?
- 43:22Why do we hear the voices of suspicious activists
- 43:25that are outcasts?
- 43:27Why do you divide people?
- 43:28We don't need someone in a queer movement in our flotilla.
- 43:32What a
- 43:33shocking development that is.
